It's because we are on a mission to make history by getting 1 billion trees planted in a single day
That has never been done before, but we are growing to
make it happen. How? Well, look, you guys know I'm the Guinness World Record holder. I planted more
trees in 24 hours than any other human in history, but it was never about me, right? It was always
about what is humanity capable of, right? What is the world record that we can set as a movement,
as a DAO, and how can we make sure that this is then leading to many other records broken? Well, because of my GWR, I was able to partner with the Ethiopian government.
So I went to COP29 and I shared with them I have the Guinness World Record
and they're like, that's incredible because we want to set this record as well.
They've been doing big tree planting days since 2019.
And so we partnered with them.
I was on the ground in Ethiopia July 31st of last year
and we united 29 million people with the government
and got 714 million trees planted in one single day.
That is the unofficial world record
but we're not only going to make it official,
we're going to get to the billion tree line
and I mean Guinness World Record official, okay?
Now, how are we going to do that?
Well, I then went to COP30. This time, I was way more prepared. I went there with a group. I went with
Mark Diamond, who has closed the biggest carbon credit deal in history. I went there with Daniel
of Impact Launchpad. And I went there with a press badge, okay? This means I was able to get into
the rooms with all of these ministers, right? Ministers of environment. I was in there on the
main area when all the deliberations were happening at COP30, right?
Where these countries are making big commitments. And then I like, I was able to get 12 different
interviews, actually 11 different interviews. The 12th one came after, but 11 different countries.
I was able to put them on the spot asking them, you know, will they commit to a countrywide tree
planting day? And they committed on camera. I shook their hand, and now we're following up with them to make this magic happen on the big day.
By the way, guys, we are now officially committing to July 26th.
It was originally going to be June 5th for World Environment Day.
However, we have to follow the rainy season of Ethiopia.
We're committing to this now so it doesn't change the last minute.
Last year was July 31st, as you know.
That's a big deal.
We need Ethiopia on board.
Another massive one that we have in this movement is Indonesia.
Indonesia has more mangrove trees than any other country in the world.
And July 26th is International Mangrove Day.
Of course, we're going to be planting all kinds of trees on this day.
But that is the day where we're going to unite the world.
And also, by the way, Nigeria has more mangrove trees than any other African nation that exists. And they have more than double the population of
Ethiopia. And I think that Nigeria, like just one country could get a billion trees done,
right? If we really mobilize everyone. And by the way, we don't just have one minister keen on this.
We have multiple ministers in Nigeria who are keen on this. And I think that they're going to
play a huge role as well so guys
It's July 26th. That is the date that we are moving for and by the way
Our proof of tree protocol is not only gonna be helping track these trees, right?
But is actually going to be making this possible again to make this an official Guinness World Record
See when Ethiopia spoke with Guinness, right? They said, you know, we can only do one specific location.
You can't do multiple locations.
While that used to be an official Guinness World Record title, they removed it.
Why did they remove it?
Well, it's because of verification challenges.
How could they reliably verify all these different trees in many different parts of the world?
Well, guys, for the first time since this was shut down as a category years ago, they're now revisiting that to open it up as a category.
See, if it was just one location,
they could have only planted like 2 million trees.
And that's frankly insulting for Ethiopia.
They got 700 plus million trees, right?
Like to do 2 million is a Guinness World Record.
Like that's like a middle finger to them.
They're like, no, we're not gonna do that.
We need multiple locations, right?
And so that is the beauty of the proof of tree protocol that we are pioneering. You can already go to aftertreejents.org. You can
test it out. But this is launching on the iOS and Android store. We're doing a couple key updates
with Valentine. I just got a call with Plastics, Yeremiel and Valentine, who's bringing this into
the iOS and Android store so that by the time that this big day happens in July,
this is not only going to be fully in swing,
you know, fully battle-tested.
We're going to have on-chain rewards,

but this is hopefully going to be approved
by Guinness World Records officially
to make this billion trees actually verifiable, you know?
And that is going to make this undeniable.
See, some people look at what Ethiopia did. You know, I knew it was legit. I was there on the ground. I was looking at all the different
details and working with the government. But when some people say 714 million, some people are like,
man, I don't know about that, you know. But when you see before, when you see after videos, which
can only be captured within an application, right? You have to film within the app. You can't find

billion trees in a day is actually feasible for one country, right? Like it totally is feasible for one country, you know, then that
is, that's when there's going to be many other world records like this broken in the future,
right? Just like the four minute mile where everyone thought it was impossible to run a
full mile in under four minutes. The same year that Roger Bannister did it, dozens of other
people did it, right? Now tens of thousands of people have even high school kids, you know, but for decades leading up to 1954, everyone was like, nah, it's impossible for a human to run a full mile in under four minutes, right?
But all of that changed once Roger Bannister did it, and the same thing is going to happen when we get a billion trees planted as a movement, okay?
And proof of tree is going to be really crucial for that.

and make this great for them is we have to avoid that slippage. That means when you make a big buy,
you're not losing money on the slippage that happens. And to do that, you need deep liquidity
pools. So how are we going to incentivize people to bring that liquidity to the decks? Well,
there's something called like liquidity incentive rewards. So if you guys add liquidity to the DEX? Well, there's something called liquidity incentive reward. So
if you guys add liquidity to this pool, it's AZUSD, which is a regenerative stablecoin,
and it's TGN. You could provide that on both sides, or you could just even do one-sided.
I was mind blown. I did not know that one-sided liquidity was even a possibility to provide,
but maybe Matt can shine some more details on that. But basically, we're going to be allocating
a very significant amount of TGN. We're going to be reducing the TGN rewards in our current
staking pool. We're encouraging everyone to just do this on Hydrax. Why? Because they're going to
be literally doubling our rewards. Doubling to the point of $1,000 per week. Okay? So that means
we're both going to put up $1,000 and then they're going to put up another thousand dollars that's 2k per week in rewards that's going to be going to uh to the

the tokens are going to get paid out in
what's called OHYDX
or Option Hydrex.
And you can take this token and you can either stake it on Hydrex and earn fees
from all the tokens on our DEX, or you can take this token
and you can effectively take a discount of it and sell it on the open market.
There's a 30% discount that you take when you go ahead and sell it on the open market. There's a 30% discount that you take
when you go ahead and sell it on the open market.
But all of our APRs take this into account
when calculating.
So we do assume that you liquidate it.
So you effectively end up getting a bonus
if you stake it with us or lock it to earn fees.
Nice.
And how do those fees work?
Okay, so this is when you lock.
So, okay, let's go through like the utility of this token, right?
Because my understanding is that you can use the token in order to like basically vote.
It's kind of like governance for rewards.
So you can vote for additional incentives
to happen on certain pools.
And then you also somehow earn from that as a voter.
How does the earning as a voter work
with this Hydrex token?
Love it, love it.
Okay, so basically the way that this works
is for a Metadex,
which is what we call ourselves,
if you, there's all these different tokens that we have listed. Each token is going to have a liquidity pool. And every
single liquidity pool is going to generate fee revenue from people trading that token
back and forth. So trading TGN to ASOS, back to TGN. What happens here is those fees go into a fee collection portal.
And when you claim those fees from the fee collection portal,
you need to have staked Hydrex tokens.
The more Hydrex you stake, the more of those fees you can collect from the trading action.
Now, as soon as you collect those fees that have been generated,
you are forced to vote for that pool.
And those votes go to funnel emissions for the next EPOC in that pool.
So effectively what happens is when you vote for a pool, you collect the revenue and then you funnel Hydrix tokens to that pool for incentives in that liquidity pool to pay out all the people who are providing liquidity there in TGN or in ASOS USD.
And that's how that multiplier works.
And we're able to get above, yeah, and long story short,
that's how that works.

and that is can we know who all the people are, the wallets who have staked within Hydrax?
The reason that we need to know that data is because in order to be a verifier in the proof of tree protocol, we need to know if you've staked a certain amount of TGN to become a verifier.
we need to know if you've staked a certain amount of TGN to become a
verifier and and therefore they're also going to be getting 5% of all of our
tree tokens if you are a verifier but there is a minimum of 2000 TGN required
to be staked to become a verifier or if we delegate it to you that's another way
but but this would add that to the thing where it's like okay you're getting
you're getting you know our token rewards from TGN.
You're getting double that or even more than double that from Hydrax.
Plus, you're getting 5% of the tree tokens.
But we would have to know that data.
I think we kind of spoke about this in the call about how we could potentially do this.
But I just want to confirm, how could we get the data of who has staked or which wallets have staked?
Yeah, there's a few different ways
that we could probably work to make that happen.
But definitely have some stuff we can do
when it comes to like querying the data.

Actually, it was a question for Plastics about the token coming to base. I was just wondering
if there's sort of like a general target date when I might be able to pick those up because
I just, I do a lot more on base. I do very little over on the Solana chain. So I was just wondering
if there's any, you know, info on that because I would love to support. So I was just wondering if there's any info on that, because I would love to
support. And then also, just as a brief side note, I did pretty good with Aerodrome. I had staked
some Degen way back in the day for a while, and I know I've still got a few tokens. I also had
swapped some of that to stables and stuff. So I'm going to be, I think, taking all
that that I was able to earn and go into TGN so I can be sure to have the amount needed and staked
to be, you know, doing all the things. Yeah, brother, good questions. And I'm with you there
on the arrow. Arrow is one of the first things I actually ever jumped into last year before I
learned about meme coins and then got wrecked the first time around. Unfortunately, I was fortunate enough to come in mid-September of

really fortunate there with my brain working how it does with TA. In regards to the token,

or implementing legislative things to reduce things
as well as local cleanups.
So the exact date, I don't have that yet,
where we are currently at is I'm looking to partner
with people that are currently doing active cleanups to stress test the
system that we have, the protocol that we have in place to ensure that that works and then get
everything logged and make sure that the pathway for that is going to ultimately be compliant
with the future regulations that don't exist yet for plastic credits but will be in the future.
So I'm a visionary, so I think will be in the future. So I'm a
visionary. So I think way off into the future, if we get to this point here, because it's not
mandated by law yet for plastic credits, like it is for carbon credits. But it's going to mirror
each other. Why would it not? It just seems common sense to me. So I'm planning ahead to ensure that
the methodology in which we use and every setup, every type of MRV
that we have for how everything is logged and categorized, that it's going to meet any
regulatory standards that come in the near future. Let's grow. I think that regulation should
definitely come in. I mean, plastic is making such a negative impact on the world.
And yeah, that needs to, I mean, there is regulation around like, okay, like plastic bags have been banned in some places. But when it comes to buying this stuff, you really got to lock in with this guy, Maya, Mayan, Maya.

He's really connected in the plastic credits world.
And I think you'd maybe advise on some of that.

But, yeah, Liquidity is growing.
We've already, like, tripled our Liquidity since launch,

go ahead. I was going to say, you know, that's one thing I've learned about this, which is which is it's heartwarming for lack of a better term.
You know, I spent many years since the 2017, 2018 Farm Bill. I was in the hemp and cannabis space.
And, you know, most of us know I was the leading manufacturer for industrialized hemp processing equipment for
medicinal as well, industrial hemp,
and actually own exclusive rights to the United States for European tech.
And we're bringing that machinery here to the U S from Europe.
And that's where I engage with significant partnerships from Europe and

that if there's something that can change the world,
