Yeah, they said the grave was the end, now that's where we start.
Every beat in my chest got that glow to dark heart.
Shadows move different when the midnight calls.
And the deads keep dancing on these blockchain
walls we ain't ghosts we visionaries with the hunger still every bag heavy cause the grind
too real from the dirt to the chain from the pain to the shine ain't no limit on the love when the
fam all align we the deads we rise with the moon in the night sky lighten up like a tomb
From the tomb to the block, yeah, we making that boom.
Ain't no fear in the dark, only love in the room.
See the crown on the skull, that's the legacy's glow.
Every scar is a map of the roads.
We know we ain't playing for clout, now we playing for keeps.
We the ones playing roots where the faith runs deep.
You can feel that rhythm like a baseline hum.
Every day got a story where they came from.
From the ashes, from the chains, from the cold, it's nice.
We the reason that the darkness still birthed the light.
We the dead sweet vibes with the mold.
In the night sky, lighten up like a tomb.
Even fear in the dark, only love in the boom.
And when they doubt you, let them.
Cause every seed in the ground still fights for the sun.
We ain't scared of the dirt.
Solana in the veins, dead in the soul.
Every move that we make turn the night in the gold.
Ain't no chains on the heart just the beat that's free
This is love. This is fam. This is best for me Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, Come get this ball for me. Thank you. I feel the devil closing in, shadows at my back, cold breath on my neck, try to pull me off track.
Whispers in the night, telling me to give in, but I see the fire in his eyes, burning with sin.
Talk us all around, there's no light in sight
He's lurking in the corners, waiting for the night
Every step I take, I feel the weight of his grip
Trying to drag me down, trying to make me sick
Devil's chasing me, I'm running through the dark
Feel his claws in the night, trying to leave a mark
He's calling my name, trying to take my soul
But I'm fighting through the shadows, keeping full control.
The devil's chasing me, I'm running through the dark. Feel his claws in the night, trying to leave a mark.
He's calling my name, trying to take my soul, but I'm fighting through the shadows, keeping full control.
I can't sleep, demons in my dreams. echoes of the past, ripping at the seams, he's offering
me power, offering me fame, but I know it's a trap, it's all a twisted game, the darkness
pulls me in, suffocating tight, trying to steal my breath, trying to gain, but I see
the chains, and I know what they mean, if I let them in, I'll never be free. The devil's chasing me, I'm running through the dark.
Feel his claws in the night, trying to leave a mark.
He's calling my name, trying to take my soul.
But I'm fighting through the shadows, keeping full control.
The devil's chasing me, I'm running through the dark.
Feel his claws in the night, trying to leave a mark.
He's calling my name, trying to take my soul.
But I'm fighting through the shadows, keeping full control.
Every corner I turn, he's there in the mist.
Trying to pull me close with his venomous kiss.
But I keep moving forward, heart pounding fast.
Running from the darkness, from the grip of the past.
I hear the chains rattle, feel the cold in my bones.
But I won't let him take me i'm standing
on my own he's trying to cage me in but i'm breaking through running from the flames from
the devil's view the devil's chasing me i'm running through the dark feel his claws in the
night trying to leave a mark he's calling my name trying to take my soul but i'm fighting
through the shadows keeping full control yeah the devil soul. But I'm fighting through the shadows, keeping full control.
Yeah, the devil's chasing me, I'm running through the dark.
Feel his claws in the night, trying to leave a mark.
But I won't let him take me, I'll never fold.
Keeping my soul, keeping full control. Bye. Thank you. We'll be right back. Told us we'd fade like dust in a scroll But they forgot we don't die, we evolve
We claw from the pit with fire in the chest
Shadows in our lungs, but a will that's blessed
One by one, we stood from the grave
Eyes full of smoke, but our hearts never caved
They don't see what it takes to ascend
How painters, the meek and the kings in the end
Every fall was a test Every crack crack a gate, and we rose with scars, but never with hate.
My sky turned black, I'm wondering why I even stood up at all.
The wind was cold, the silence louder.
I couldn't see at all. But in the dirt I felt them breathing.
I heard the distant call. The dead still rise to his own. They said we rock, forgotten,
erased. But we turned that void into sacred space.
Built from the ashes, bone and flame.
Never begged for light, just learned to reign.
Every step is a march through time, not for clout.
We the ones who wait to strike like thunder.
When the world gets fake, we don't chase crowns.
We rise and earn from shadow to storm, from freeze to burn.
So when you feel lost, cold or small, we rise to it all.
My sky turned black, I'm wondering why I even stood up at all The wind was cold
Let me just get this music off.
We're in, I believe we're here.
It's 9 of the Dead to Rising Ground.
Clayton, can you give me a sum up if you can hear me?
You're just not that loud.
Is that better? Yeah, that's better. Yeah, sweet. Well, all right. Beautiful. Love that. How about now? Is that better?
Well, good morning, everyone.
It's now a Saturday morning for most people in here.
For some, it's Saturday afternoon.
Jake is under the weather.
He won't be joining us. I mean, we should have put odds on that. Probably could have been a betting man, would have betted on that.
But yes, we've got a few people here. Got Tricky, Gage, Anza, Sarge, G-Funk, legit certified crown and recs.
G-Funk, hit me up in the DMs. You won a rugs in the space yesterday i spun the wheel
so he definitely hit me up that's yeah i wanted to hit you up with that but uh
good morning clayton brother how are you how's your weekend been oh jokes it's just odd for you
how's your week at work been mate yeah it's uh work week was uh, uh, kind of busy, kind of not. I had like two slow days, but other than
that, it was for the most part kind of busy. Um, no, I'm just, uh, just chilling, you know,
I've been up, uh, you know, since fives. Uh, so I've been up for about three hours now,
just grinding on timeline, trying to, uh, trying to reply to basically every post known to man.
Just be a crazy DJ and reply guy.
Gotta grind, get them impressions up.
Are you close to being monetized?
The problem is is like uh you know i would say until like the
last like couple months i haven't like been like grinding that hard like obviously i've always been
like you know posting stuff for the dads and shit like that but i was never like replying that much
to shit so um i wasn't really able to get my numbers up and stuff like that but now i'm uh
definitely a lot more locked in and hopefully uh you know that's just something to work towards
it's it's fun though i just went to your profile and saying that you got got owner of two dead males in your um bio that's hilarious yeah yeah i had to do that uh
just to uh i did that and then i sent a message to lumen lord and i just admit like uh give him
a hard time and just fuck around with him you're gonna have to you're gonna have to
sell him one for like three or four soul when they get unfrozen. Do you mean
that'd be probably the only reason to get rid of them, wouldn't you?
But, because the one is only and i even sent i opened up a ticket in discord just because i was pissed off but uh one of them is only common
or uncommon for whatever reason i don't know why it just is that's just what it is um and then the
other one is mythic so that's one that's one i'll probably always keep but
you know the other one i'm a little uh less likely to get or be attached to just because uh
of the rarity yeah look i mean look if it's if it's filling up your wallet you can send it over
here i'll hold it for you just the common one one, the mythic one, you can keep.
But look, if it's common, you don't
want common ones in your wallet, you just want to have a
stack full of mythic and rare, don't you?
And I think Renlord would be
I mean, it's still kind of rare.
Well, not kind of. It's still rare in my
eyes, because there's only four in the collection.
almost like a mindfuck just because it's not rare in the collection so you know it's it's almost like a mind clock
just because like it's not rare but it is rare so it for now i think i'm gonna keep it in my wall
just because you know i have to it's frozen so uh we'll uh we'll maybe revisit that at a different
day for you oh yeah that's good that's all right mate just busting your balls i um i have a bit to talk
about when it comes to tools and stuff today but um hopefully everyone's trying to you played any
golf lately i actually haven't talked to you in a minute i don't feel like uh no it's i feel like
i didn't even like i kind of stopped golfing early kind of uh
or either that or just like the weather like changed pretty quickly this year uh for me so
it's kind of like i'm not really gonna go out uh and get on the course if it's like uh
you know at a certain temperature it's just not really enjoyable. I mean, like, yeah, like you can bundle up and shit, but it's like, well, then you're just playing stiff and like you,
it's not like comfortable to play. So, um, you know, I, um, probably, I think the last time I
golf was like, maybe the beginning of November is ish like the first or second week just because
it got down to like the i don't know what the conversion rate for you guys is but like for us
the uh the 50s pretty quickly and like under that it's like i'm my hands are just cold and i don't
really enjoy myself so i just say fuck it but uh no i feel like I just need to move to like a warmer climate.
But, you know, Florida is just super fucking hot and humid.
It's actually kind of annoying.
And it was like, you know, usually in Chicago, I'm used to like, you know, maximum 60 degree weather.
And it was like 85 and humid as shit and i got sweating my ass off
and it was just like not fun so i can only imagine what the summer's like i keep forgetting that um
america is in a completely different weather system to us the complete opposite i think why
it's not that kind then yeah i realized um it's actually winter over there now i do believe so
it's um i fully understand that and uh i feel like um you'll be right in florida mate if you
if you're a dedicated golfer mate you got the one of one pfp you've got a you've got a goal if you
can't just take a break you know well i mean or i just moved uh arizona because it's like out there is the dry well
i've been to arizona too that's like so it's dry heat so it'll be like 150 you're basically
like walking around in a sauna so it's it's honestly either place isn't you know the perfect
climate but i guess you gotta kind of pick and choose your battle i if i was picking i probably
would rather live in Arizona.
Just because I'm not a big fan of the humidity when it gets hot.
I'm just doing my quick Google Maps just to see where Arizona is.
It's like right next to Cali in Nevada.
Man, I got to go. Nevada yeah yep I see I see man basically
you go from tropical climate in
Florida to a desert in Arizona
looking at maps the whole east coast of
America just looks like greenery
and it's wet and then the left
looks nice dry like desert.
I want to get rid of Salt Lake City too.
I want to see the massive old Salt Lake, the Great Salt Lake.
I want to see that but fully drained because that'll be pretty cool.
Do I get bogged in the middle of it and then have to call Heavy D rescues
That's just a dream of mine, I feel like, on my bucket list as well.
But yes, we've got a few few things talking about a few things today we've got um the grave mint which is probably the biggest thing
we're talking about at the moment and the one of the biggest tools that i'm most excited about
um this line of deads will have their own um mint website that hooks straight up to the grave
to the bone forge which is the nft generator so you can import straight up to the grave, to the bone forge, which is the NFT generator.
So you can import straight from the NFT generator
I'm doing some testing now.
I do believe Salina's getting,
Salina's the biggest one getting tested.
And we had the frogs collection.
Ham did a collection of frogs,
of frogs, named frogs, and released it minted out
there was 420 of them i do believe um minted out pretty quick so it's a bit of a legacy
bit of a legacy collection i had to get on there and get a get a couple of them i was chasing a
couple of heaters because i seen them getting minted um i seen on the mint page and i was like
i need that one so i just get minted minted until i got it or one of them should i say so i'm pretty
stoked because they've got the um ghost one lily pad background and a squiggly mouth not all
together but separately on separate ones um which is pretty cool the gold chain as well um
so yeah that's pretty cool but if you haven't go go check that out. The floor price is 5,000 SOL, I do believe.
If you want to get one, oh, I think, yeah, I think it's 5,000 SOL.
So, I mean, you should have minted, should have been paying attention.
I've seen them all over the timeline in the salt space and wanted one instantly and didn't know where to get them.
And then Ham come out and gave us the, gave us the alpha.
So, oh, 5 SOL, the, gave us the alpha. So, oh, five sold.
Sorry, full price, five sold.
So, yeah, definitely go over them and get yourself one if you missed out.
I absolutely love them little frogs.
It's funny, though, because we have toads over here,
and we smack them with golf clubs.
but I don't like pesty frogs,
I thought one of the other rarities
and I was excited as when I got one of them.
There's only 54 in the collection
so it looks like it goes the ghost frog
the tree frog which I'm going to believe
yeah right fair enough so
yeah one of those collections here
congratulations and make sure you go give him some props for mincing out doing such a great
little collection um we do have the gatekeeper as well and i do believe the nft discord verification
body it is in 25 um 25 discord servers at the moment and it's only going to keep going so
oh don't forget as well too you can pick up uh five dollars per referral if you want to refer
a refer a project into to use it i do believe there is a referral code i'm not too sure i was
supposed to ask about that team meeting last night but it didn't um oh yesterday morning should i say but yes so
make sure if you've got an nft even if you've got any discord that needs a verification but
um send them over to use the gatekeeper from the salon of deads and you can pick yourself up five
dollars a month for six months um and that it that doesn't stop with just one so if you get
just say if you're on to grind and get 10,
10 servers to sign up, you could be getting $50 a month.
For the term of how long they use it for up to the six months.
I should say it like that, probably a better way to say it.
So yeah, definitely go over there and get yourself,
get yourself out there grinding and getting them into different discords.
All of the Slanted Dead's ecosystem, it's one of the best ecosystems.
Everything gets, goes, not everything, but majority of everything goes back into reward the holders and staking.
Also too, if you haven't already, make sure you go over and restake your NFTs on the console.
Just because Rogue put it all on chain and made everything on chain so now um all the rewards are handled
on chain there's no backdoor hidden anything it's everything's there ready for everyone to see um
so definitely go over and remint because the rewards will be turned back on soon and restake your tokens yes and restake
your tokens if you go over there and you see a big orange button that hits migrate just hit that
and everything will get migrated whatever tokens that you did have states some of some people got
there sent back to them um so i just had to go over there and restake your tokens to definitely
get onto that before rewards.
Dude, when that happened, I was like, yo, what the fuck is going on?
I was like, what the hell is going on here?
And it was only because it was like the perfect amount of DEG tokens because I spent like, not a long time,
but I had to figure out what the 1.1111 fee was on top of how much i wanted to stake
to get it a full perfect um one number like i think i had 400 000 stakes just perfect 400 000
and that got deposited back into my account i'm thinking what's going on here either either
rogan levels have sent out some money or this is my steak stuff and then yeah sure enough it was um because rogue was
changing up the changing up the console man i just did yeah see can you guys hear this i need
to show you this australian sounds while i can so i feel like no one believes me go and do it again
did you hear that what am I listening for
oh there's some sort of bird over here
I don't know what it is bird or a possum or something
but it makes a really weird creepy sound
yeah anyway don't mind me
I'm just trying to get the full experience uh but yeah so definitely go
over there make sure you stake your tokens and get your nfts um restate back up because when
the rewards get turned on you don't want to miss out on miss out on some rewards um and there will
be a bit of rewards going out so definitely um get over there and do that we also have
Yeah, so definitely get over there and do that.
We also have, I'd say a big congratulations to G-Funk and Blaze as well.
They got announced engagement, mint, mint, well, engagement,
the two hardest grinders of the week until mint out.
So make sure you get over there and you're grinding for this line of deads
because you will be able to get three minutes for a um cheaper price as well so um this line of dead's always looking
for people who are grinding and on the timeline and want to support they want to support those
who support us so definitely make sure you get on there and grind away if you want some gm content
or something to post head over to the slanted dead's website in the tool section there's a nft generator and you can go over in there really easy to use whip
up a quick banner if you want to get a gm post going in out there and to get some of the salon
of dead's content to post as well as well we do have the salon of dead's discord i haven't touched
on a little bit we do have um an engage and engage channel Discord. I haven't touched on it in a little bit. We do have an Engage channel over there
that you can go over there and click the link
to get some Engage points
and buy stuff off the Engage marketplace
and put a Salon Australian there a few months ago
and Dan actually managed to scoop that up.
So I might have to talk to the team
and see if I can throw another.
And if he and they're one of them,
just support those who support us because
um yeah like to support those and give back to those who are grinding and grinding on the timeline
so definitely go over there and check out the Slanteddads discord and if you want a good way to
test out the gatekeeper and see if you what you're recommending to people you can go over there and get your um i'll go your stuff up and
get it um get it verified get you get it all sorted in the discord have a look at it all
um have i missed anything clean i don't think i have uh There's the, the dead's a DCA $12 minimum a day.
I guess you'd call it challenge.
I forget what the post is.
So like for the next 12 days,
if you DCA at least 12 bucks at the end of the 12th day, there's going to be a spot in the Discord, or you open up a ticket in the Discord, and I think just prove your wallet, and then you get a free deadsman and a free houndsman.
Oh, so all you have to do is...
Yeah, right, so there's no competition not just yeah no that is actually
pretty cool to be completely honest getting a free um right so yeah you're you're paying for
something and then you're getting two extra things basically for free so it's your it the rewards
are you know definitely worth it in my opinion.
It's not like I'm recommending this, but if you wanted to at the end of it,
you could sell the DEX tokens that you just bought and get that money back and then get two free minutes.
Or you could sell those DEX tokens and then just mint more. Keep the money
more than one way to kind of skin
participating if they can. I get it.
It's around the holidays,
money's a little more tight. So if you can't, no big deal. But the good news is,
if everyone here doesn't already know, the mint price was lowered within the last week or so.
So that's a little bit, uh, easier
price point for most people to get in at, uh, before it was when soul was like, you know,
two 40 and it was five, five, five. And I was minting like a crazy person, you know, it wasn't,
it wasn't cheap. It wasn't cheap at all, but Hey, I was having a good time. Uh, it was worth it for
me. And, you know, long-term it time uh it was worth it for me and you know long
term it it was always worth it and i saw the vision so i i didn't mind at the time but no it
it was fun it's so i'm not honestly i'm not mad about it um but i'm actually happy now that you
know more people can get in um just because you know it's all about the people you know it's all about the community
and we're just trying to grow and provide tools um for the community and for crypto and you know
we're i always like to say is we're not a project we're a brand um and that's kind of where we're
headed yeah that's it everything like i said before the
whole solana's ecosystem goes back to rewarding the holders but the things that we're creating
aren't just for the salon of deads they're for all of that's not even just for solana
they're for all um blockchains and abstract eth base you know i'm saying um sui they're all
all getting supported through this line of
debts tools because we are here to create tools for everyone to use not just um
not just um just for the slider and the slander deads um so it does pay to be involved in the
slander deaths because we do have the staking and all that and then um when our tools get out there
and you will get rewarded through that so it So the best time to get in is now.
Especially with the coin being nice and low,
And then when the tools and stuff,
everything starts to run off and take up,
that $12 a day would be worth,
now it could be worth $20 or $30 a day
once all the tools start getting used. it's a not obviously not financial not financial advice do you in
research all that stuff but um if i was to give financial advice it would be to um to get into
this so definitely um oh we're sitting at 421 we've come back up sitting at 420 000 market cap and that's a salon down moment as well i think
i don't know how the the technical people talk about it but everything's when sliders down
everything's down kind of situation but it's all tied in together so definitely um get in there
probably the best time probably the best entry point since the pre-sale um so definitely get in there and get in there
and like you said you do 12 a day and you instantly guaranteed um a dead uh what's it called
a slanted dead's mint and uh hellhounds which is um pretty sick and it's kind of like um i don't
know if you guys have afterpay in america but it's like afterpay over here you pay um for full payments it's kind of essentially like that to get yourself so it's
good yeah yeah there's like i feel like there's three or four different ones you know just because
you know there's plenty over here just because they're trying to milk us for everything so
i wouldn't be surprised if there's like you know five different ones but i know
for sure there's there's after pay there and then there's like maybe two or three more but yeah
that's actually pretty crazy though that's over there as well um i don't know what seems crazy
to me just i think it's crazy you could pay for food with it i i think that's why dude you know i the fact that we got to that spot
it just doesn't make sense to me i um well no i get why we're here but you know it's just why
i did have afterpay like a year or two ago um it got rid of it because i realized how bad of a trap
it actually is it's so bad but actually the first time i bought weed with it i was like so stoked um because you
could use the you get like a visa card you can use anywhere and i went to get on from the chemist
because it's legal over here in the chemist and i used the card to get weed and i was thinking what
does the world come to you can you can put legal weed on tick through a chemist pretty much
essentially like it it was crazy to me but yeah definitely um if you have
anything like that get rid of it because it is just a big trap and people just get stuck and
they're like oh it's only four payments but it's like everything and then monthly oh it's just
crazy so yeah definitely um my financial advice is to not have any of them right it makes you think
you can afford something when you really can't and then like they charge
you hella interest sometimes and then you like try to justify like oh it's still okay i like it
i can like still like do it and afford it you know that extra 200 bucks in interest like yeah
it's whatever because i'm paying over like you know a year or whatever. But yeah, it's like, well, yeah, but you could have had that 200 bucks if you had the money to afford what you're trying to buy.
And you're just throwing money away, really.
And, you know, that's how the system works is like banks and lenders.
That's they're just trying to milk you for all the money you got, you know.
And obviously, you know, you can use some of that stuff to your advantage sometimes.
But when you're buying basic things, I don't really recommend it.
Obviously, if you just straight up can't afford like stuff like food and that's the way that you're eating, you know, you got to do what you got to do.
But like if you're like, I try to justify like, you know, going out and buying a new set of golf clubs.
And I'm like, dude, why the why the hell would I be paying like 300 extra dollars in interest for golf clubs when I could just save up some money wait you know and
buy it outright it's it's such a trap yeah see that's the thing i feel like people think it
won't be there to buy in in like a month or anything but it will be there you know what
i'm saying it's not going anywhere so definitely, it's worth saving up and getting it out. Right. You're definitely not wrong there.
going but yeah like it's just like the instant gratification is kind of trapping you into
you know that mindset of hey i need it now instead of like no you don't need it now you want it now
uh can you afford it now no so save up do the smart thing buy it outright and then keep all
that interest dude i've the need it now kind of situate it now thing that got me so good
one year i um when i first started dating my wife you a few years back um for christmas time was
coming up and i wanted i wanted an xbox at the time and i was thinking you know what screw it
if i want something i'm just gonna go get it so So I went and bought myself an Xbox and then she come over.
We weren't leaving at the time
and I got a new Xbox and she ripped into
me. She's like, are you serious?
I had one of them for you for Christmas.
So now these days when it
comes close to Christmas, I just, I don't need
anything right there and then I'll just
wait to see what I, actually, you know what?
I don't get anything these days because we've got kids and stuff
now. I feel like once you get older, Santaanta stops visiting you i don't know who in here is
i don't want to ruin it for anyone but yeah santa stop visits you when you get old enough
um kind of situation i i'm still kind of heartbroken about that as you can tell
um but yeah hey but you still you still leave out the milk and cookies though, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's funny too, because over here, my wife's like, she grew up Australian.
I was born here, I'm Australian, but I grew up with my mum.
We were also born here, but she's Serbian.
So we just did the milk and cookies.
That's just the thing we used to do.
And my wife's like, oh, we used to leave a beer and cookies out.
I'm like, what do you mean you used to leave a beer and cookies out for Santa and she's like oh
you know I'm like oh yeah and then I was like I thought about I'm like yeah because your your
Santa used to love having a sneaky beer and when you're doing them late night setups for the kids
that's me this year got a trampoline and shit to set up before on Christmas Eve and the kids all go
to sleep and great it's great.
I love it because, like, for a bit there, December was, like,
when you get older, you know, when you move out of home and stuff,
I don't know, Christmas just doesn't feel like Christmas anymore
because you find out all that stuff and Santa stops visiting you
and you stop getting all the cool toys and stuff.
But I'm now starting to like it and get back into it
because I've got kids of my own that I can um that i can do all that stuff for so it's great but um wait that'll be me new christmas eve i'll
be setting up i might have to do a bit of a space come set this trampoline up with me get all the
help i can get um because it's going to be that's going to take me forever, I feel like. But yeah, that's just the way it goes, really.
But yes, today, what did I do today?
I had a sweet bugger all day, had me work Christmas party.
Do you guys have, like, do your companies put on Christmas parties for you
at the end of the year over there?
Yeah, I would say, actually actually i guess i don't yes uh yes and no i mean i know mine is actually in january just because of
how like busy like this time of the year is uh but I would say like if the company does have a Christmas party,
it's kind of like right around now.
So, yeah, I mean, my company has always done it,
but not every company does it.
Yeah, right, that would suck.
I feel like all blue-collar workers get a Christmas party though.
Or tradesmen, i feel like or if your company's not like um
not like like a big a big chain you know like maccas or something i don't feel like
maccas employees and stuff get a christmas party um but yeah if you're like a company
a different kind of company i feel like you should you get one um but yeah we um it's
funny we actually had our work christmas party but none of us wanted not none of us there's like
so when i first started this company there was three of us and now there's like 10 of us and
there's these two blokes that like five or six of us don't like they're just complete like other just
f wits like they're just come in and just whatever.
But we didn't want to go because we didn't want to sit there
One of them comes up to us on, like, the first day and goes,
or one of the boys is like, oh, hey, buddy, how are you?
Like, first day and he's gone, don't call me buddy.
I don't like being called buddy.
And we're all like, what?
Like, what do you mean, bro?
So we instantly all started calling him buddy
he hates us for it but we're all like man you can't just feel like you can't just come in and
be like oh don't call me that i mean you're you're in a you're this isn't an office job you're in
you're in the trade you're in construction construction industry you can't be telling
blokes like that don't call me that because the first thing they're going to do is call you that kind of situation.
But, yeah, he's a wannabe Muay Thai fighter,
like wannabe UFC fighter, thinks he's all that,
because he'd done a couple of training sessions and had one or two fights,
and he's just, yeah, he's ridiculous.
And then the other one we've got is a little snitch and runs and kisses the boss's ass.
And just, it's ridiculous.
So we just, I just said, it's better of me not going.
Because my mum always told me, if I've got nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.
So I just thought I'd keep myself out of that situation and not go there.
And then, yeah, the boss, the boss as well, he's a good bloke.
But he's just, you know, I don't even know how to explain it.
So, yeah, we just had our own little one at one of the boys' house,
put on a spit, pork roast, and roughly swim in the pool and stuff.
And that was great because I got to take my kids,
and my daughter and my son loved the pool, loved the water.
So they were in the – trying to argue with them to get them.
I had to bribe them with – I had to bribe my daughter anyway with ice block
to get out of the pool because she didn't want to get out.
Um, and then my son was just getting out, putting me out, and that was that.
But, um, but, you know, it was good and I loved it.
I had a pretty early one, actually.
I got back so I could have my little nap before the space and get it all sorted.
So, um, yeah, that was my day.
But, uh, Anzo, we, I see Anza popped up here.
Jam, Anza, how are you? How's your week been?
Hi, Sam. Hi, everyone. Hi, Clayton.
I'm fine. Week's been really busy.
Just today I'm relaxing, which I'm really happy about.
And just, yeah, not too far for Christmas now, are we?
And like Clayton was saying, I don't enjoy the really cold weather.
I just don't want it to get colder than this.
Just hope it, I don't know if it's going to snow at Christmas.
I think we had snow last year, just before Christmas,
and then we had no snow, but it was quite cold.
It's just busy with work and stuff,
and just sort of slowing down now.
I mean, I only work part-time, so I'm trying to look for,
like I said, I'm trying to look for a
full-time job but I think that's going to happen in the new year now there is not many
positions out there for what I'm doing so I might not even do that I'm looking into marketing as
well now because um there's also that there's jobs jobs going for artificial intelligence
and you do audits on AI and how they operate.
And where I'm from, my hometown,
there's an actual company that's going to open up there.
So I don't know when they're going to open up,
but I'm definitely going to try and get a job there.
That'll definitely be cool.
I feel like that'll be a good job for you because you use a lot of AI
when it comes to your content generation, so you know what to look for.
That'll be a pretty cool job, I feel like.
But trying to audit AI, I don't know.
I feel like the AI will just tell you to F off kind of situation,
you know what I'm saying?
Like the AI will be like, yeah.
I don't have to be sorry.
I was just going to say I feel like that'd be a good job to get into,
And, yeah, looking in the new year, I feel like over here anyway,
no one's really looking at hiring until the new year because
of all the breaks and everything everyone's having and people like to have time off.
I'm trying to look for a new job at the moment just to change it up a bit.
I've been doing the same job for like seven, eight years.
So I'm getting pretty over it.
I like to be thrown in the deep end.
And if I'm not getting challenged at work, it's just kind of like, it doesn't really
But, yeah, no, I'm definitely – I'll be looking in the new year to get a new one after February, hopefully,
so I can get to America without any dramas and tell people I could have a couple of days off either side.
But, yeah, no, definitely looking in the new year.
What kind of marketing are you looking at doing?
It's for me anything, brand marketing, clothing,
anything that needs marketing I'll do,
even if I have to do record.
If it's a remote job, I think remote work could be good for me so i can
spend more time on x as well i don't get to spend that much time i get too tired as well because of
the work i do it's like sam you must get really tired of the work you do now work in a lab and
around and somebody says to me you need to get a roller boots and use those instead of running around the
lab roller boot around the lab make it more fun but yeah it is it's a it's a proper fast-paced
job but the thing is there's a lot of megalomania where I am there's a lot of people just backstabbing
and I don't like that I had it in my last job and um i just don't know what it is with laboratory workers
they like to you know sort of big themselves up and put other people down it's like really
silly little things like we do ph um ph is not whether you know what that is but obviously
there's acidity and this alkalinity you have to we have to do ph testing and then we have like these
calibration solutions and there's this guy who forgot to put the label on there that this is the
date i opened it you have to put an opening on it and an expiry date on it well anyway there's a
three-month expiry on it and one of the lads when the snitched on him over a real stupid thing like
that and he got really told off about it.
And I said, that's disgusting.
You could have just gone up to talk.
He said, you should have just gone up to him and said to him,
you forgot to put the expiry date on this bottle,
Why did you have to go and do that?
And I said, honestly, that's not a nice thing to do.
And he just put his head down. And I said, I, that's not a nice thing to do. And he just put his head down and I said, I don't get it.
I mean, I don't understand why you have to be so terrible with people.
But there's a lot of it going on in there and I don't like it at all.
And I think I'd be better off doing something where I'm at home or something doing marketing work or like I said
there's jobs going where you are sort of yeah you're watching AI but you're also teaching AI
so you're actually if they think if they used to review the way that they are operating and then
you have to like sort of pull out the like the defects of the ai and stuff so i think it'd be
quite interesting i don't know i have applied for the job i applied yesterday but i don't think i'm
gonna get anywhere you just have to see anyway you never know you miss 100 of the shots you don't
take under so definitely apply for all the jobs even if you're um a bit unqualified for the job
i like to apply for it and just talk your way into it. And then you just learn what you need to do when you get into the job.
I had a couple of jobs like that, but you know, you get like, yeah, I just like to be
challenged and stuff thrown in the deep end.
Depending, obviously, there is obviously some jobs that you probably don't want to get thrown
into the deep end of, like when someone's life or something depends on it
because if something goes wrong, it's bad.
But yeah, I don't know what it is
with people throwing other people under the bus.
I feel like it's just, it's like,
oh, look at me, look at me,
bloody better than that person kind of situation.
But yeah, definitely it's the wrong way to go about it.
I feel like if everyone just um if everyone just was there to look out for each other
and try not to take things to the office it'd be a much better workplace and we do we have a couple
people like that like i said it was only three of us when we started and now there's 10 so
someone has to try i don't it was funny too i don't think they realize how long i've actually
been there for and um one of these new blokes tried i think tried to get me in trouble or
something but the boss was kind of like all right just come on down this that's not happening
because like he that's what i'm saying my boss is great we have a great relationship it's like
a love-hate relationship um he loves me i hate him situation um but yeah i've it's funny because
i don't think people realize how long I'd
been there and how like good I actually was and he tried throwing me under the bus and it just
didn't work at all and then they all got butthurt because like they couldn't really do anything but
um yes it's one of those things it it sucks um too I did see your dm um I'm probably gonna have
to get you to hit me up on discord too because I can't download the files off X for that music as well.
So I think I do have you on Discord,
but yeah, we'll definitely have to link up in there just to get those files.
Yeah, I'll send you them on Discord.
I sent them to Broham, but I them on again on x and he's got them
but i tried on discord and it didn't work for me but i'll i'll have a go um well maybe if i use my
computer to get on x and download them i just haven't opened my messages on my computer because
it wants me to set up this link this password and stuff and i don't know what the password is
and then you get to do the forget password,
and then I don't want to mess it all up.
So I'll definitely have to – I'll get over there and have a look at that first before I get you to send it on Discord.
It should just be easier to do that.
I'll try and send it to you on Discord.
But are you ready for Christmas are you talking about
Christmas yeah I'm just kids and presents and all that yeah I'm so ready for that got all the kids
presents organized got the tree up I every year I say I want to do Christmas decorations on the
house and be like one of those dads who gets right into it but every time it comes to it I'm like man
I can't be bothered there's so much lights I want to put up.
And then you've got to pull them all down,
and they'll probably stay up until April.
And it's just one of those things.
When the kids get a bit older and they're like –
like my daughter is now just getting old enough where she's like,
oh, my God, I want the pretty lights.
So I'll have to probably do it next year, get all the Christmas lights up
and all that, and then I will go from there. But, yeah, everything's sorted. Got all the Christmas lights up and all that and then I will um go from there but yeah everything
sorted got all the plans sorted I'm having I'm off from work I believe from next week and I'm
having like near off a month off I think um so I'm pretty excited for that um there'll be lots of
streaming and pop-up things going on if I'm not doing any cashies here or there
um but you know it'll just be it'll be
good um yeah what about yourself you you ready for Christmas?
Yeah yeah I'm going home going to the mum so I'm happy about that um we just mean obviously I don't
celebrate it in the same way you guys do, but we do believe in Jesus.
So I celebrate it more on the religious side.
So, you know, we, even in our mosques,
we have like a short sermon on Jesus and his birth and all that.
And then we do have a meal.
My sister's coming from, she lives in London.
So obviously I live a bit further north
at the moment but I'm going back home to Cheshire I didn't mention it on a space the other day or
mama bear space where I'm from like a rugby town where I'm from because there's like two Brits in
there were you there Sam I was in that space I was kind of like because I remember talking to you
like oh I'm fucking oh like it'd be cool to see you in a mama bear space but then i realized the timing difference and then i seen you in a mama bear space i'm like oh what
the hell and it turns out you guys go way back anyway so yeah we me and mama bear i've known
mama bear she's one of the first people i came across in web 3 when i came on x i didn't know
i didn't know any. It was Mama Ben,
and he's in the dojo knows. His name's Orda. But it was because of her space at that time,
I was having, it was weird because I was having issues mental health wise. Obviously, I had PTSD.
And it was weird the way mama bear just started speaking
about it and i said oh my god and then i just got on with her really well and i told her that
i mean obviously at that time it was last year in september i think and um i was having counseling
at the time and i just told her about what was going on, why I'm like this and I'm a lot better now.
But just speaking to Mama Bear about issues
and what exercises you need to do and that, we got on really well.
And I even told my counsellor about her and she said to me,
my counsellor said to me, she said, carry on talking to people
because what you need to do is rather than just speaking to people you know, speak to people that are, you know, you're not too acquainted with.
Sometimes you can bring out things that are inside of you that you wouldn't really even tell you maybe your mum or, you know, your family.
You might open up more. So with Mama Bear, I did did have that she's always there for me anyway she
always says to me like you know we could jump on a call we could speak on the phone and stuff like
that so yeah I do get on with mama bear and on that day there was like three Brits in there or
something and one of them was sounding not too far from where I'm from then I ended up saying it
because I'm from Cheshire because mama bear said the Cheshire cat and I said well I'm from that town where Lewis Carroll is it yeah Alice in Wonderland she's the author of the book
so I'm from that town so I don't know that you can remember what town it was Sam. I don't remember
what town it was sorry um but yeah yeah it's and i i accidentally said one of them was
drone mummy yesterday but it's not it's um i forget who it is pads it's pads that um
it's from the uk i know is at least one of them he's pretty cool he's always in there
um but yeah definitely the mum and bear spaces are great. And I remember sometimes even jumping in there and listening to them
when I was working at the golf course.
When I did me back, I was always in the mum and bear spaces
because I was just cruising around.
I mean, yeah, some of the stuff she talks about in there,
It just makes you think a little bit and change the way you think
and go about doing things sometimes. And like you said, tell,
I feel like talking to people that you don't know, especially on,
on X anyway, because everyone's got like a PFP, um,
there's no face to face stuff and, um, they've got a name.
So it's kind of feels like, I feel,
I feel like it's easier to talk to people about certain things because like you
said, you don't know them and yeah, it's easier to talk to people about certain things because like you said you don't
know them and yeah it's just easier so yeah definitely um cool to see and that's another
thing about the web3 community too is you don't know everyone's kind of connected to everyone
already like I remember Vinny was one of the first people I ever ever spaces I dumped in and
talked to because I was seeing he's from Australia and he dumped in one of my spaces and he knows
tricky and everyone started talking and stuff and it's just kind
of like it's a really small world on the web 3x and that's why I just love it here because
it's like a big family like the crypto NFT family on the web 3 everyone knows everyone
and everyone's nice to everyone so it's definitely cool and it does help a lot too um but yeah that's
definitely um definitely good to hear oh sam you know you're talking about restaking is it
restaking your nfts i haven't done that yet so you're gonna go over to um the crib console
um or the console.salanadeads.com with your wallet,
link it up and then restake your NFTs.
It does cost like, I think it's a few cents,
the first two costs like a dollar to restake.
And then after that, it goes down to like 50 cents or something.
Every time you need to stake, you pay, i think it's a renting fee um and then
you get that money back when you unstake it anyway um so it's just like a little bit of a holding
thing but yeah you need to get over there restake all your nfts because rogue will be the rewards
the rewards that's not the word i'm looking for but the yeah the staking rewards haven't you
haven't been able to claim lately um because they want to give everyone the chance to get all everything
staked and stuff so definitely want to do that before he turns that on so you can start claiming
straight away your free money essentially you still want to deads obviously definitely go over
there and do that. Yeah I need to sort that out I haven't been able to do it. Sometimes my internet
connection is really bad on here I got I think I got chucked out twice just now but it seems
to be okay now so. Yeah I thought I was gonna accidentally rub the space when I first started
it because I went from 4G to oh I went from 5G to wi-fi and then i had to close the thing up close the app and reopen it
um it's just one of those things actually it's charging all this money for um blue check mark
and stuff like that but certain things like this haven't been sorted out it does suck a little bit
um but yeah definitely um it's getting better
yeah are you monetized no way i can't there's no way i'm grinding like these grinders on here
um back when i first started um when i first got onto the web 3 i was on there and i was
like non-stop grinding i think one of my best days i got like 10 000 impressions or something
like that and i was like yes and then i got addicted to the numbers and then um yeah I did it for a bit and then I got
back to work and because I when I started this I was off with my back I do believe no I just before
I injured my back I started and I was grinding so hard and then it's just I got addicted to the
numbers and then I got in trouble with my wife and jake and i were just on x like i think jake
was crazy when he first got on here he was spending like eight hours a day on x just in spaces and
um chatting to people and stuff and then yeah i just i i can't do it i'm better i'm heaps good
on spaces and streaming like i i can stream for ages because you know i'm doing something but when
it comes to the typing part and all that and getting the impressions and knowing where to knowing where to get the
impressions and stuff from like crypto stoner had a great day yesterday got their perfect
comment on one of these posts um and then it ripped off from there so yeah there's definitely um
definitely things to do but yeah i'm I'm nowhere near getting monetised,
I got monetised in April this year.
When my account got hacked,
And then once I got it back,
I said to Boham, right, that's it.
I'm getting monetized now.
And within three weeks, I got monetized.
But I've only had one payment, which is the initial payment.
And after that, I've had nothing.
You've got to get monetized and then you've got to keep up the impressions
And I feel like if you can be on Web3, if you, like, didn't have such a –
because my job, I can't pull my phone out at work and do what I need to do.
That's why I just jump in spaces and listen because I just throw my earphones
But I definitely feel like if I didn't have a job where i had to not look at my phone so much or if i could get on um x a bit more
i could definitely give it a red hot shot but um yeah i'm doing like big hours at work and then
when i get home i'll tell you right now if i didn't have kids i'd be monetized because i'd
just be able to have all this time to spend on x and stuff but any spare time i get that i'm not working or anything i like to spend with the kids and then
when the kids are asleep i'm usually kind of asleep as well because been such a big day and
stuff like that but you know i'm definitely um definitely one of those things it'd be sick to
get monetized and get on there that's um but yeah i just had a big goddamn poo.
Did you get yourself a frog, Anza, one of Ham's frogs that he created
I didn't know anything about it.
Then Ham said, check your DMs.
And I said, you know what?
You're not even in my DM.
I don't know where you are because I've gotten no messages off anyone.
They just, I don't know, they popped up after four days or something.
But he said, we speak on Discord anyway.
So he sent me a message in Discord, and he just wanted to send me some.
So he sent me three, which is really sweet of him.
He's always there every time, you know, I'll send him a message.
He's been there from the start, though.
He's another one, like Mama Bear.
You know, he was one of the very first ones who I spoke to in the crypto,
And it was like when we were in, it was Monkeypox, this project,
MeanCoin, which I don't want to really go into.
But there was like a TGA Telegram chat. And I was on there and I didn't know what the
hell I was doing at all. And it was if somebody helped me
because I don't know even know how to I didn't know how to do
anything. And even wallet wise and handles on there and he said,
then he's always dead quiet on there. And I said, How come he
never speaks and then all of always dead quiet on there and i said how come he never speaks and then
all of a sudden he started speaking and he said i'm here if you need any help so ever since then
i was like oh wow then ever since then he's been helping me out he's he's ace i love him yeah ham's
definitely um definitely great to have um definitely you need any support or anything
in the discord you can definitely jump over there and um yeah that's sick i was going to say if you didn't manage to get any frogs i was gonna
um send you over one just to have a new wallet too because it is a cool little collection to have
um but yeah i'm glad you got in there another thing i haven't talked about in a very long time
is the line of deads uh shootout game um game.salonadeads.com for holders only.
We need to do another little competition on that, I feel like,
because I feel like it's just one of those things that haven't been played very often or talked about much.
So we'll definitely get over there.
And now the console, it accepts a controller too.
So there's no excuse for Clayton to be telling me he can't play it
because he is a console guy and he's actually disappeared anyway. So I can talk excuse for Clayton to be telling me he can't play it because he is a console
guy and he's actually disappeared anyway.
So I can talk all I want about him.
definitely get over there, thegame.slandandads.com
game. There is rewards and stuff
So definitely go over there.
So, you know this game, you can't play it on the mobile phone, can you?
It's only on your – is it only on a PC or laptop?
You can't play it on the phone?
I haven't tried again since the controller set up,
but I feel like if you have a controller,
you'll be able to play it.
But yeah, you do need a keyboard and mouse to play it.
So I feel like maybe if you have like a Bluetooth keyboard
and mouse hooked up, you could probably play it.
But yeah, definitely need a keyboard and mouse, so PC.
But now they've added a controller.
So I feel like if you had a controller laying around,
you could probably connect the controller to the phone
and play like that. Because I do know could probably connect the controller to the phone and play like that because I do know you can connect
the controllers to the phone now.
Yeah, I have got controller.
I know I liked you from the get-go.
None of that PlayStation stuff, eh?
The whole family's got, like, everybody's got a PS55 i've got an xbox love to hear it love to
hear you you you're a wise one you got some swats about you no i'm an xbox guy from way back and
it's just a little bit of shade i like to throw i'm i obviously had the playstation one and two
um when they first come out because that was just like the the thing to have i mean i got my first xbox and then never turned back i mean now i'm on pc anyway i don't even play
my consoles my consoles have been locked up in my shed for gosh i'll have to say at least five
years now i think the last xbox i bought was a little white one you could get um but now i just
get on the computer and play all my games on computer because i feel like it's just better
computer and play all my games on computer because I feel like it's just better to be completely
honest yeah no I've been I'm trying on my computer what it is is um this is I don't know whether
you've heard of it it's eight chain as well there's the other side I've been going into their
spaces as well because I'm just I just like the community there. They're really nice as well. Just like you, Sam, you're dead nice, easy to talk to, down to earth.
So they basically said to me, you get onto the other side
because then you could earn, like you're saying, you're saying you earn XP.
They're saying that you can earn 8 coin.
And have you heard of the Boredate Yacht Club?
I didn't know anything about it, really.
But I think, you know, their nft board at yorklo nft
probably g bro gfuckl no more than me and bro gage um well i can't remember how how high their nft
the price of their nft has gone but they are blown up and they were just saying to me that you need
to get into the other side because there's other games there's also like you know keith berry who's um nft nft kid
i think is it crypto stoner who has been speaking a lot with him on on um is it even the um
he's collaborating with the solana deads is he i'm not sure but um yeah he's they they've got that
But, yeah, they've got that project called Kushlings.
And, obviously, you use it at NFT.
NFT can be used as an avatar.
So it's more like fighting and stuff.
But yesterday I managed to complete the intro,
and I'm now on the other side.
So I don't know what next because I'm going to go into that space maybe
what do I need to do next but the thing is
I feel a bit guilty because I've not been
the primary reason is because I can't
yeah I feel like it is a big problem
you can't play it on your phone.
We'll have to have a look at this other side game.
But yeah, the Bored Apes,
I feel like it's one of the first NFT,
what's it called, NFT collections
but one of the first ones I've ever seen
and seeing the potential of it
and how big it could get.
And yeah, I've seen that. That's pretty cool that you can um buy that game I'm gonna have to find is it on steam or is it just like you google it and find it
well at the moment they're in beta stage so I don't really understand it myself at the moment
I've not seen any of the games so I don't understand i've got to the other side you have to go through all this in in intro it's crazy you have to go
through this whole it's called the nexus so you go through all that and then you enter the other
side and then that's when there's all there's loads of people in there and you know they've
got their own avatars i haven't got my own avatar at the moment but i mean that's when you start engaging and then there's gaming that happens on certain days which
is called other games i haven't i'm engaged in yet because i hadn't i couldn't get past the intro
i've done that now so on when they start their other games and i'm gonna have to see myself
at the moment i have no idea Sam I'll have to let you know
yeah definitely let me know
about that because that sounds pretty cool
I wanted to get over to that
there is a couple crypto games
that I've been wanting to get into and play
but you know that sounds pretty cool
I'll have to have a suss for sure
So I have to have a suss for sure.
Yeah, I think it's pretty cool as well.
I thought, right, I'm going to get into this.
And I was in their spaces, and they've been so nice to me
that they gave me two free NFTs, which was really nice of them.
That's really nice of them to do.
I feel like everywhere you go on to, you just bring positive vibes
and everyone just needs it.
So they just, they keep you around because it's always good vibes
It's funny though, Sam, because I was in there and I was telling them,
I was complaining about the intro.
And then there's this guy called Machiavelli.
And he basically was going to go into a meeting.
He's part of the board at Yacht Cross, it's Yuga Labs.
And he said, right, I'm going to, what Ans has just said,
I'm going to say this in the meeting because it gets confusing.
And they said, this is what we needed.
And I said, all I'm doing is complain.
He said, no, that's what we need. We need feedback on all all i'm doing is complain he said no that's what
we need we need feedback on all this so that we can actually improve on it so yeah they're all
dead nice honestly the the really nice nice people in there so it's like you guys saw on the dead
sauna deads and big community you know my favorites but they are really nice no that's great um i feel like that is cool that they're
nice too and dad because yeah i feel like that because yeah the board eight your club they got
expensive at one point i think um snoop dogg had one and branded his weed and stuff off it and all
of that so i feel like they got really expensive um for a bit and then that a little bit of a crash
but it is nice to hear that they're um down to earth and good people because you'd think people like that would you know if you're buying one
they're not fully like up themselves and stuff like that probably best way to best way for me
to try explain what i'm saying yeah i think sam with the eight chain it's a blockchain. So people like Solana Dez, you can place your project on there.
And there's so many different projects on ApeChain.
So there's that many people on there from different projects
that are all part of the ApeChain community.
So you sort of interact with them.
Like here, you've got the GPC, Green Pill Collective.
You've got all the different projects. And you know solana dead's collaborating with with other projects and then
obviously we've got with what bro rogues doing um there's there's other new projects i put this
possibility of people minting through the solana dead zone well they i call it all innovation
because i think it's brilliant what Bro Rogue's doing.
Is it only Bro Rogue that does all that?
Is Ham involved in that as well?
See, that's something that needs to be promoted so that there's maybe other projects,
part of of that so it's the same with eight chain yeah um i do believe rogue is the only one that
you know, they want to get involved in that or want to be part of that. So it's the same with 8 Chain.
is doing like the develop um development uh coding side and does help out with testing and um
breaking the system and um getting it out there um like help test it all and get it out there
because like you said the developers like they like to hear when people not complain essentially oh you probably call it complaining but to them
it's it's giving them feedback about what they're doing if people can't break things and don't want
to tell them what's wrong with it they can't fix it kind of situation um so yeah ham's definitely
um help ham's kind of like that person when it comes to rogue and rogue gets into the team meetings he
says i've got this go break it and then everyone will dump on there go break it and then send him
all the bugs and reports so he can get over there and fix it all so um it's definitely um
definitely pretty cool and um yeah the the grave mint coming out they've been talking about it for
a few months a few months now and when they first brought it up
i was kind of like no way that's going to be sick but then i was sitting there thinking i was like
man that's going to be at least a year or year and year and a half out because you can't just
whip one of those up because i have a good mate uh one of my one of my best mates is really into
the computers and developing side writing code and and stuff. And I was talking to him about what we could do in the web
through in NFTs and stuff like that and coins.
And back in the web too, I tried to get him to help me create a coin.
And he's like, no, like, man, I have to learn, like,
so much, like, different stuff.
He reckons it would take him almost a year to get it sorted,
just to learn the stuff to even be able to start trying it.
And the fact that Rogue could pump that,
like he's pumped out the Boneforge,
which is absolutely insane.
The Discord verification,
but the Gatekeeper pumped that out as well,
which I believe is just absolutely crazy
because even those tools there alone,
I feel like would just be full on.
And then he comes out with the Mint.
Like I said, when they were talking about it, I that won't be that won't be for a bit like
that's going to be pretty hard to do and then yeah sure enough he's in high um I haven't been
in the team meetings lately because I had to get up at three o'clock to get to work uh to get ready
for work and team meetings are early as over here because of the time difference. So, yeah, I was like, oh.
And then I seen the frogs coming out, and then I was like, no way.
And then Ham's like, Grave Mint.
I was like, no way we're starting to talk about that
So I was definitely real bullish on that when I heard about it.
And I feel like once a couple of collections launch on it,
they use the Bone Forge, which is the nft generator they can create all
their things and then just straight away import them straight over to the grave mint and the
website's great and if you haven't already go check it out grave mint.io i do believe yeah
grave mint.io go there and check it out and it looks great there's a couple little um they're
doing a bit more testing on it now to get everything sorted for abstract and base um which is pretty cool um i had to ask did you know with ape chain is it like their own
chain or is it like um like abstract yeah it's i think it's it's built on arbitrum so i think it's
a layer three so yeah they've got their own blockchain.
And there's so many different projects on that blockchain.
So there's not just the one project.
Obviously, you've got Board 8 Yard Club, which is massive.
But they've got other projects on there.
And it was a lady and Aeson, his name is.
He's Australian, actually, Sam.
I can't remember because I can't actually get into it from my wallet.
I need to go into, I don't know which one it is.
I need to check them out because I don't know what they are.
Yeah, they're really nice.
If you come across any Australians and that goes to anyone,
you need to tag me in something of theirs so I can find them
or send me their profile because I need to meet all of the Web3
crypto Australians in this space.
They do spaces every day and his name's asin i'll send you his
x handle but i'll send you the spaces that they do um asin he's always drinking so i just call
him a drunkard see that's just australian he's always he's drinking all the time i said can you
stop drinking i just say what i want you know i mean i just come out with what I want. I'm a northerner.
Northerners, you know, we're known to just say what we think.
So I'm a proper full-on northerner.
So I will say exactly what I think.
So I just said to him, can you stop drinking, please?
And I feel like people need to be more like that.
Just say what they're thinking.
It might upset a few people, but these people know that you're not here to beat around the bush that's one of my worst
things is people who beat around the bush and you know they want to say something but they go a
backwards way about saying it's just like tell me what you want to tell me and just get it over with
like it's just it's ridiculous like yeah just people like oh you know just i'm like what do
you want they're like oh you know it's just tell me what you want are like, oh, you know, just I'm like, what do you want?
They're like, oh, you know, it's just tell me what you want
I'll probably tell you to go F yourself or, yeah, sweet, too easy.
It's either going to go one or two ways.
You know what I'm saying?
So it's just like get out there.
And I feel like the people who do that are the people you want to keep
around you because there's no two faces to things yeah I understand
I had a friend from Italy well she's a chemist like me she's moved to Kuwait now
and she was with me in when I was doing my degree and stuff at uni and she's moved back she she was
she became a teacher here she said the people are really not disciplined they're really naughty over here the kids are really the high school kids they just
don't listen to you and all this sort of stuff and I said well I think that's that's just teenager
for you isn't it and then we started having an argument and then she started going on about
in the UK about the pizzas and I said why are you talking about pizza
she says they don't even know how to make pizzas properly in the UK and I said oh really
and you know I got really patriotic and I said well why don't you just go back then
we don't like it here oh my gosh she went mad at me and and I said I said okay I'm gonna
go I'm gonna go back in the weekend she used to go on just a really cheap domestic flight,
whatever, these jet to Ryanair, whatever.
And she said, I'm going to go and I'm going to bring some cheese back
so that you can see the difference.
And then I said, okay, then.
So she brought the cheese back and I had some.
I said, I can't tell any difference.
I can't see any difference in it.
And then I said, do you know what you're just
like my sister all you do is argue with me she doesn't like being told um she she just wants
everyone to agree with her it sounds what that's what that sounds like uh and you can't be saying
jet two around me because I got really bad brain rot and as soon as you said jet two I was like
nothing be to jet two holiday instead of playing in my head um that's hilarious i didn't actually know that was a proper i didn't actually
think that was a proper company i thought it was just a meme going around to be completely honest
with you but yeah people that um don't can't take they don't want to have a uh a conversation you
know i'm saying they want to have a they don't want to
it's not even a debate it's just an open it's a conversation like people when people have
conversations with people you need to be able to take what they want to say back and then you have
to like come conversate with people you can't just tell people this is this is this and then
when they have their opinion get offended with it because that's just not the way the world works
I feel like so you definitely have to um if you're willing to have a conversation with someone you
have to be willing to accept that they're going to have a different view to you and then talk about
it and even if you don't meet eye to eye on it yeah yeah get to holidays Sam my sister went to
Iraq she went she just got back.
That's why I had to go to my mum two weeks ago.
A week ago, I was at my mum's.
But she went to Iraq, and she went via Turkey
because there's no direct flight to Iraq.
So she went on jet two holidays to Turkey,
and then from Turkey, she went on turkish airlines to iraq so there's a
is that what you're talking about jet two oh so i'm i'm i'm real bad on tiktok like i i
that's with my brain what i can sit in there and scroll on tiktok for so long and they did all
these videos like um nothing beats a jet to holiday and it'd be like the song voiceover
over like something bad happening
or something funny happening and i just thought it was one of the memes running around like it just
i didn't actually think that was there there was an actual playing company called jet to holiday
to be completely honest with you really yeah yeah well they went on jet to holidays so that's what
they went on i was surprised to be honest i said you went on jet two holidays but then they realized oh yeah you can't go to iraq directly so you have to go via
turkey so or another european country so yeah they went on jet two holidays is that the videos you'll
and turkish airline on the way is that the videos you're sorry sorry sam you're right is that the
videos you're posting where they're giving back to giving food and stuff out?
Was that your sister and her husband?
What we do is we put money together.
When they go in, and if I go as well, but I'm thinking of going myself,
planning on going either to Iraq or Iran.
Sounds weird, doesn't it?
Everybody hates Iran. to iraq or iran sounds weird doesn't it i'm going to iran everybody hates iran you know they've got
they've got a really bad concept of iran and iranians well i'm part iranian so you know
but yeah um what we do is as a family we uh we we all put money together all my sisters and then
we get my cousins and say right that's it we've got to put money together and then we get friends as well go to the mosque and get money if anybody wants to give it's called
in Arabic so sad the guy's like you know broke around I don't know what I'm talking about but
you're supposed to gift people with with you know even a smile is an act of charity even one smile
can make somebody's day so thinking of that concept every single day,
and especially my dad, my dad was really into charity,
and we just carried it on.
And we just, when he died, we said,
we're going to carry this on, not just for dad,
for ourselves as well, but we go,
my sister goes over there, or i'll go over there or even
me mum and we distribute by hand so we don't do it through an organization because we know that
organizations they take part of the money and admin costs and stuff like this and we know exactly what
they're doing that what they do is they they sort of bribe shopkeepers and stuff. They buy stuff like rice and, you know, chickens and stuff like poultry and things.
What they'll do is they'll say, give us like a receipt, which is a written receipt.
And then they'll put this is how much it costs.
But in fact, it actually didn't cost that much.
And they take that money out and they keep it for themselves.
So there's stuff like this going on over there.
allow that we said we're not going to do that we're just going to go there and do it ourselves
and do it by hand it's so nice you know you you go there you give the kids chocolates and everything
and sweets and then then you know you the family's rice chicken flour and that so that's what they
were doing my sister was doing it with her husband
and you know the feeling is absolutely amazing just to see their smile and their faces and stuff
I start crying every time I go there I've been there twice now and then what every time I've
been there doing it all I do is just burst into tears I can't help it because they're just so
cute honestly they're so cute and they're just so loving and I just love
doing it it really uplifts you as well makes you feel better because you you think we think that
we go through we're going through hell and we're not we're really we're not yeah that's just like
that saying it's a first world problem because it definitely is a first world problem you um
there is so many other worst problems to be having that's another reason i'm
so grateful to just to be able to get my phone and go on stuff and and it's crazy to think too
there's so much corruptness in charities as well and i do know that's been a big thing like
the the big one was the coney 2012 i don't know if you remember seeing it but like coney wasn't
even doing anything at that time that That was like two years ago.
And I remember everything coming out about that.
So yeah, definitely when I win the lottery,
cause I know I'm going to win it one day,
I just want to be able to give back to so many people.
And like you said, like I'll just,
and you get those people who do it all on YouTube and stuff and people like,
Oh, why are you recording?
You're giving back to people.
that's them making their revenue to be able to give back to people um most of them anyway you
know i'm saying there is obviously some people out there that do it for for clicks and views but um
yeah it'd just be great to be able to give back to the less fortunate and it's one of the one of
the things i definitely want to be able to do um one day just because it yeah you know i'm saying i went when i went back to africa because i'm half my dad's african um he
took me me and my sister back there um and just to see the the different way of the life over there
and how the craziest thing is to me that they're they're still so happy they're happier than us
sometimes you know i'm saying because they don't have all this outside negative in they're just living their
life doing the best they can do and it was crazy to see like you see all the ads on about over here
anyway it was like um i forget what company was doing it's like i'll sponsor like sponsor a trial
and stuff and you see the videos of them going to get the water from the dirty puddles and stuff and
boiling it up and you know you kind of think that's a little bit put on but when i went
back to africa it was crazy sure enough my dad left me out in the villages with um my grandma
his mom at the time and left me and my sister there for a night or two and we ran out of water
bottled water and it i mean it's so hot over there and he left us two bottles of water and
i was getting thirsty and i was like i really need something to drink and i went over they had like this big clay pot in the
kitchen area and they'll i had a couple of the water and it tasted good as but then we went we
started running low so i went with them to go see where they got their water from and yeah sure
enough they found like this little muddy puddle because it just had a big rain before and they
scooped it up and they went back and i'm thinking holy moly like this is how they live but like you see kids running around the
streets playing with like toys and stuff they made and they're all happy as they're riding bikes and
stuff around and yeah it's just crazy to crazy to see that there's so many different i feel like
people definitely take for granted especially living in like in a in a first world country like australia america or in the uk or something like people don't actually know like i feel like
everyone needs to go back and experience um experience it just so they can be more grateful
for what they have and like if you have a roof over your head and running water electricity heat
like you're doing much better than so much more,
like so much of the population, you know what I'm saying?
Like you've got flushable toilets, like in Africa in the villages,
you've got this hole in the ground.
And I was so chubby as a kid and I couldn't really get down
So it was really hard for me to use the toilets over there.
It's always made my dad take me to like a hotel or something
to use one of their toilets.
But like it's just little things like play huts too like my my grandma like pretty much all the houses if you're not living in
the city like i'm from tanzania so jerusalem's the the city over there and then you start going
out the outskirts and um yeah it's just like it's crazy the mud huts and they've got the clay and the tiles on the roof. And it's just like such a basic way of living.
But obviously, it's like they don't know what they're missing kind of in a way
because they don't have technology and stuff like that.
So they're just going to be happy in what they've got.
And it's just if we could all – honestly, I feel like we could learn a lot
from people like that that are living in a less fortunate situation
because they're just getting through life,
doing what they need to do to get through,
and they're just so happy.
Sam, have you ever slept outside with nothing over your head,
just outside in a field or something.
There's people out there who've got nothing
and they've got no house or anything, no shelter.
And like I said, I'm doing it with them.
So I slept outside with nothing with them.
I was laughing my head off, though.
I thought it was dead funny.
I thought I had like me, we had a blow-up pillow case,
me and my sister, and a blow-up pillow.
And I said, well, I'm going to use that.
So I started blowing up and I
don't know why I couldn't stop laughing doing it and then the the guys and the the women that were
there watching me and my sister doing it said why are they laughing so much oh honey I said oh my
god I'm just going to enjoy myself I'm going to I'm going to enjoy myself they look happy so why
can't I be happy so I based me and my sister
would just we just really honestly enjoyed ourselves even though so just get just get on
with it and then that's what they do they just get on with it you know and like you say they don't
they don't think oh yeah you've got this and I have you've got this and I haven't got that
you know this the other way around they say I I I've got this, you have it. That's the difference.
And I have, I mean, I didn't do it over there
because the big thing over there is malaria.
Like even the smallest houses have like big nets around their beds and stuff.
But I used to do Air Force cadets as a kid over here
and we used to go out into the bush with like, we call it a,
I don't even remember what
they call the stuff anymore but you have like a little sheet of plastic and all you have to live
in and backpack for like the weekend and stuff like that and it's definitely um grounding um
sleeping out outside and stuff like that but yeah like you said they just they just get it done
they're um that they don't yeah i mean they don't have time to whinge and stuff you know what i'm
saying they're just gonna get it done um and they're just gonna live with the best that they have and i feel like
yeah like i said everyone i feel like everyone could learn um a lot from that going back to
experience i didn't actually want to leave like my dad come back to get me it'd take me because
we were only there we went there for a month and we only got to stay a very few times because we
have to drive to different places to go see different people because we were there to see family.
But yeah, and it's just like, it's forgiving and stuff as well.
Like you said, you're 100% right the way you said it.
Like over here, it's like, I don't have that.
And over there, it's like, oh, if you don't have that here, you can have mine.
I've got what i need and stuff and
everyone just says over there and definitely um yeah it's definitely crazy that's for sure
um but yeah it's a very quiet space today it's just me talking now where's clayton gone
yeah my co-host isn't here either yeah he's not well is he
there's a horrible horrible virus going in the UK at the moment and it's hospitalizing people
which is quite dangerous so I've told my mum to put a mask on because she's like immunocompromised
I said mum put the put your mask on your face because I don't want you getting anything I don't
want you going out of anger yesterday I said you're not put your mask on your face because I don't want you getting anything. I don't want you going out.
I said, you're not going out anywhere.
I said, because of this horrible virus.
People are hospitalised, being hospitalised by it.
So I said, you go out, make sure you wear your face mask.
There's a crazy virus going on over here at the moment too.
And Jake's wife just got out of surgery last week.
I do believe she had surgery for something.
And then, yeah, now she's getting sick.
She's not like fully compromised.
She's a little compromised just from being in the surgery.
So he was taking all these best things.
He didn't come to the drink up and stuff tonight
just because he wanted to be there and look after.
need to keep safe as well.
And look at that. He said his name. He popped up here.
Runelord popped up here. GM Runelord, brother.
I thought I was up here. I don't know.
I don't know what happened. I actually thought I was up
here when I joined. It said to join the speaker
and then when I went to speak, I couldn't speak.
No, not a lot, mate. Not a lot. I'm just sitting up here cruising. How you been?
I've been good. We did, last night, did Festival of Lights with the kids.
lights with the kids so that was fun
So that was fun. I get to go play in the snow.
get to go play in the snow
a video on the dance I'll post one
in the uh in the chat here for you
was gonna when you joined I was
hoping to join I was gonna send you straight to the co-host
and then you just didn't come here I was thinking
oh what's going on Reynald doesn't want to be a part of it
but you are now my uh you're now my co-host, Rinlod,
because Jake is just too unreliable.
So you've been given that.
You don't have to apply no Google Doc or nothing, mate.
What's going on with Jakey?
He's got a bad fever and sick.
I think his mum got a bad virus and then passed it on to –
it's one of those things where I feel like when people just come off
with sickness and they're feeling all right,
they're still like transmittable kind of situation.
So you need to live with a day or two.
But, yeah, they went over and seen um his wife which her um
jake's mom went over and seen them to see jake's wife because she just got out of surgery and then
she got sick um and then yeah jake is um evidently caught it because he's looking after her at the
moment um because she can't really do a lot but yeah that's just one of those things
and he doesn't learn to nap he needs to learn learn to nap because once he's asleep, he just falls asleep.
I'm a dad now, so I have my little dad naps here and there.
I can fall asleep for a couple of hours and then wake up and get going again
where he just can't do that.
But he'll learn to do it one day sooner or later.
I actually can't nap either, man.
If I nap, that's my sleep for the night.
If I sleep for a couple hours midday, then I'll sleep again the next day.
It's just one of those things.
I'm always ready for a nap.
I love little power naps here and there and pass out for 10, 15 and wake up. that's so funny i love a good nap i'm always ready for a nap like i'll i'll have little
power naps here and there and pass out for like 10 15 and wake up being charged up immediately
go um but that comment you posted down below i'm so jealous that looks sick and i need to have a
white christmas one year because oh my god that'd be the coolest thing in the world to be completely
honest so it was it was minus 26
celsius last night while we were out doing that a little bit colder with the wind chill so
but it was fun kids liked it they had a good time where's what if because what if was flexing on me
that it was nice and cold over there at one stage negative he did the conversion i think it was like
negative something um so i feel like you
just need to come into those spaces and just tell him to pipe down because negative 26 degrees and
you said celsius too didn't you didn't say fahrenheit you said negative 26 celsius
yeah negative 26 celsius so the conversion on is probably like negative 18 or something like that
fahrenheit something like that Fahrenheit, something like that.
Yeah, see, that's absolutely insane.
cold where you can throw a cup of water in the air and it
freezes or you take your noodles outside and hold
the noodles up for a bit and they freeze it.
It's not that cold, is it? I mean,
it would be. It's nearly fucking 26 degrees
that stuff right around minus 20
somewhere in there and with the wind chill last night i think it was like minus 34 or something
like the way it felt so if you have anything with water it'll affect the wind chill will affect it
so yeah we've done that before we've thrown the you know water in the air and it all freezes and
falls down like chunks of hail and stuff like that i've never done the jeans you can put the
jeans out and stand them up and stuff like that i haven't done that one what gets me is
your like your hoses and stuff like your piping and does that just all freeze over and it all
turned to like what's the good with that no i'm as i'll bury deep uh all of our water lines and
stuff like that sewage lines are eight
to ten feet in the ground so frost doesn't go quite that far you can't be using celsius and
then switch the feet on me mate come on what's going on there yeah i know i know i'm canadian
man that's what happens so uh two and a half meters underground dude screw finding them if you had to find them to connect
onto them that's all i have to say i just just get instant flashbacks to my job where i've got
to find stuff i'm thinking if i'm finding water at 2.5 meters i don't even oh man that's how deep
our sewer is let alone our water is only 600 mil deep. I think that's two feet underground.
That's how deep our water lines are.
What about the water to your house, though?
You know, when it comes up and all your piping in your house and all that, like in the roof and stuff?
Yeah, man, it comes in through the basement.
So there's always a frost grade.
Like when you build a house, it doesn't matter what it is, bi-level, anything like that, you have to be below frost grade um like when you build a house doesn't matter what it is by level
anything like that you have to be below frost grade right so your basement needs to be at least
what the hell is it uh in meters probably about a meter deep roughly uh minimum and then the piping
comes in right from the bottom of that i was only joking about the feet thing too i do my i got a work thing work made at work that uses
feet um i think the conversion is like three feet one meter roughly um so yeah well a basement
meter deep's not really a basement it wouldn't that just be like a under the house well no like
by level so you'll you'll get like a little bit of uh cement um coming out uh and
then the headers on top of that right so you know you still get a full-size basement it's just half
of it's built in wood right ah yes i see what you're saying now fair enough fair enough i want
a basement so bad i just don't know what it is i just want a basement i bad. I just don't know what it is. I just want a basement.
I'd keep thinking if I could go down, get an excavator,
and just dig it out underneath my house like Colin Furze did.
He's a UK YouTuber, if you haven't seen him.
You've probably seen him, Colin Furze.
He does heaps of crazy stuff.
But he went down and tunneled down and built a tunnel system and stuff under his house.
I don't know why. What do you keep in your basement like is it just used as storage or do
you deck it out to be like a man cave i don't know my uh my son's bedroom's down there all of our
furnace and stuff and like it's all it's all carpeted and drywalled and painted it's just
like the rest of the house essentially some. Some people don't finish their basement.
They just fill it with storage and whatever else.
But, yeah, ours is finished, so it's all living space.
What did your son do to deserve to be put in the basement?
He actually won that in a race from his older sister.
So the kids love being, you know, that's the cool thing
because you're kind of separated from everybody. So the basement's kind of the you know it is the top bedroom really
if as as a kid yeah i feel like i'd be like just the ultimate cubby ass really wouldn't it because
you're just down there by yourself you can kind of do whatever you want that'd be sick yeah man
it's much cooler down there too right so in the summer when it gets
hot it's nice nice nice having a bedroom in the basement because you can sleep nice and cool
that's another thing because i don't think people understand underground it kind of just
stays at one temperature i mean over here anyway like when i was in the mines we were um we were
doing diamond drilling so diamond tips drill bits drilling not actually
drilling for diamonds that's one thing i need to clarify because i thought i was drilling for
diamonds when i first got there not gonna lie um but yeah it's just uh the drill bits have diamonds
on them but um coring out doing core samples to find stuff and on the surface out it was probably
western queensland right near northern territory so it's nice and hot, like, you can get to, you can get up to 45 degrees easily through any, through
summer and stuff, and the flies are ridiculous, but, yeah, everyone's like, why would you
want to go underground, like, we were 600 metres underground, I think it's the, 650
is the deepest point of the mine and i said i'm good
with feet but i need to do the conversion right quickly 200 2 000 feet foot underground um and
everyone's like why do you want to go down there isn't it hot and blah blah blah it's like no man
it's so it's it's it's honestly kind of cool down there because they have big pump ventilation fans going everywhere.
So you can just, like it stays at one temperature.
There's no, it doesn't spike or anything.
I feel like that's a common misconception about being underground.
I feel like unless you're getting close to the core and when you get through the mantle,
I don't know how thick the mantle is.
It might get a little bit warmer.
But yeah, if you're just under there a little bit, it is cooler.
That's definitely for sure. So yeah, I feel like that would be
Now you bring it up, it would be
I would love to be in the basement now that you bring it up
I definitely had a basement
Basement bedroom growing up
That's where I would be too
And every house in America has a basement, don't they?
Or is that just a common misconception that I have?
Yeah, I don't know about the southern states.
Up here in Canada, yes, every house has to have a basement.
You can build it on piles if you're close to water or something like that,
but still obviously preferred to to build a full
basement what about an attic you got an attic uh we do but we don't use them they're usually
full of insulation i don't know what the percentages are but um it almost feels like it's maybe 70% here in the Midwest.
I would say like 70% of homes maybe have basements.
Maybe it's 60%, but they're not like required.
I feel like Salt went to request, but then he maybe turned his request off.
But yeah, no, that's pretty cool i would love to but see i feel like over there in america through the center anyway
don't they use him as like tornado and um hurricane shelters as well like you kind of have to have here he is jim salt night how are you good i had a hot pain about the whole basement deal
if more in the in the states my experience in the states that i've lived in is if you deal with snow
in that particular state you are most likely going to have a property that has a basement
in that particular state you are most likely going to have a property that has a basement
you know so you know you got like i know some of you guys are like back back east and all that so
a lot of places back east in the midwest do have basements out in california like on the west coast
we don't have that that problem i mean i'll have to see areas in the mountains up here that get snow
you know like by me they they do have
basements almost all the properties that they build up there have a basement predominantly
and but most residents like in my community and around where i'm at because it's warm we don't
deal with snow there's no basements they do have attics so so they supplement a lot of times you
have an attic instead of a basement honestly it could
just be kind of cost related as well just because it costs more uh money to have a basement
oh absolutely yeah absolutely but i do what the ruler is saying a lot of them do actually
get it fully furnished so it's like it's a basement but it's like literally if you do it right you
can actually add it to your square footage of your property so when you're actually getting
your property appraised or if you want to sell it and especially if the basement's all done up and
it's livable you can actually include that as part of your square footage what's not what's
the actual like requirement for it though just because i i feel like i've always heard you don't include it well it all depends where you're at like i know like i'll give parents
at colorado for example i have friends of mine that live in colorado i don't know if it's true
across colorado i have some friends that are colorado sprints he bought he purchased the
property and i mean a house it had a basement but the basement actually was fully furnished
and in the basement they actually had a bathroom in there there was a bedroom bathroom in the sitting area so basically
made it like a little one bedroom kind of apartment type deal that you wanted and they actually went
as far as you had an entrance to the basement off the side of the house where you can actually
go and you have an entrance into it from the side so at that point they were
able to include that as a square footage for the house so i think it has to be livable and might
have to require its own entrance but i'm not sure because obviously i don't have to have a i don't
have a basement in my place i know if i do anything in my attic unless i get it permitted
and all that i can't i don't add you know you have to change the structure on it too it won't be added to square footage so but i'd have to really reinforce my my roof and all that
for well technically my ceiling but it'd be the floor for the attic so it's a lot more involved
but i think there's permitting things that you got to go through to do it you can't just
throw up some drywall in the basement and call it a day and add it to your square footage.
you know throw up some drywall in the basement and call it a day and add it to your square footage
Yeah, right. Over here, we don't have basements, but when you have a high-set house,
a two-story house, and underneath where the hills and stuff are, it has to be at least 2.2 meters tall
to add it to your square footage. so i don't know if that's probably
not the same over there but that probably has something to do with it as well how tall it is
i mean actually all basements are tall what am i saying don't mind me just a typical australian
no that's for making eight foot ceilings that's what that basically is two and a half meters yeah
about eight foot ceilings which's the average height Ceiling height
Most places, residential as far as
Because we do have a lot of eight footers
Walking around on earth right now
Dope's eight foot tall, isn't he?
Dope? He acts like he's eight feet tall i i think dope is like five one
you know he just talks big honestly he gives off that energy hey i'm glad you said it you said it
i'm just agreeing yeah yeah i i think he gives off big man energy but i think he's a little more
he's not in here we gotta we gotta call him in here so he doesn't feel like
we're talking smack about him when he's done in the space but he can we'll go back and can listen
to it it was at 7 51 okay perfect i'll let him know what time he can go into the space
an hour and 15 minutes into it go into and you'll hear us talk about you no you start at 6 30 sorry
about that no an hour 20 minutes into the space so, there you go
you gotta remember though, probably not the
best idea to let him know we're picking on him
bullying him as he would say
because we all know what that makes him do
so I don't want to say because I'm on this stage
I'm sure he's already been bullied
off enough times this week, he's already
done that a couple times, so I think he might be
basements to dope? I don't know, but there we go.
Not even just dope. Dope doing what
he says he's going to do. Hey, you could just say dope doing what he says he's gonna do
hey you could just say dope releasing his special socks
why do you have to do that bro even yeah that's even that's crazy
dope's okay dope's happy feeling
even though i don't even know
We're not going to put anything
Dope needs to go see his doctor
Oh it's crazy you know but it's all part of it really
we just had dab jump up here too i want to say quick gm to dab how are you brother
no that is a okay i'll just sit here and talk to myself. No, I'm joking. Dab, if you haven't been here before, I'm Australian and I have a lot of sarcasm.
Don't be thinking I'm just down shots.
Yeah, I've kind of just been completely thrown off track about the whole special sauce situation.
That's a pretty sweet snorkel he's got there.
I haven't seen that one yet.
I do believe dab is possibly, um,
one of Frenchy's IRL mates.
I do believe possibly maybe a little bit of insider knowledge with it.
probably got a little bit of special treatment.
Oh, I, you know what I should say right right now i don't know if you've done it but the uh wait list for the infinity orbs is reopened
right now so i don't know if uh if you guys are whitelisted and haven't got it yet today is your
last chance dude see well i need to know these things because i missed the first one because
the times aren't different i wish um all right i'm definitely gonna have to get over there and have a look at that because i missed the oh what's the goddamn
website launch my nft that's what it's called hey what's up sorry i did i just i know we got
a bridge over i screwed up and sent some eth over through my abstract well in my ab whatever it's called
wallet and i know it's lost in in la la land right now what's the bridge what do you use to bridge
over because i've done it before obviously but i just forgot yeah man i i would use relay.link
that's my favorite it seems to be the quickest i I've had transactions go missing, and their support's really good.
They've refunded everything.
That's my preferred method.
If you guys are trying to mint Infinity Orbs, it's tough.
LaunchMyNFT won't let you connect your abstract wallet.
You have to connect through either Metamask or Wallet Connect.
I couldn't get Wallet Connect to work.
Metamask is kind of the only
method right now oh there you go man i got it really you know what that's what i've used before
is relay link i just can't remember i just pulled it up on my on my phone i'm like yeah i remember
the site i remember what it looked like so yeah that's what i've used in the past i think that's
i think i used relay too before but for whatever reason, I didn't use that.
And I forget how I found it, but I think there's like a bridge through the abstract portal somehow.
And I found it, and that's how I bridged.
So I don't know, maybe Relay is faster.
But mine took like, I don't know like maybe like 15-20
minutes to bridge um yeah man relay.link takes like 15-20 seconds i i push everybody over there
we had a whole bunch of problems with that abstract bridge on launch day everybody was trying to use
it half the people were you know stuck for like an hour the other half the people didn't
know where their money went sort of thing and so i i always suggest relay.link you can use the one
on abstract but i don't feel like it's it's great it fucking sucks that's all i'm gonna say about it
the one on abstract i tried using it and they're like oh it'll take 15 to 20 minutes i'm thinking
what do you mean um i have bridged before um to get something on abstract before i forgot what
website i used and then i went to use that one because i couldn't remember um and i was very
upset and i nearly threw my phone out the window because i tried to mint and stuff and it just
wasn't working so i'll definitely get over there and try that now and i'm glad you said metamask because that's my wallet i used set up so
i shouldn't have any problems when i do that
yeah it seems to be the only way to do it right now with launch my nft unfortunately
i'm i'm a little i'm super pissed launch my nft to be honest with you
like how do you how do you have abstract support but not connect to the abstract wallet
wait so hold on do i just okay so you can connect to it on the metamask wallet abstract though can you or is the mint actually on ethereum no it's on abstract but you have to connect
through your metamask um with abstract enabled Enabled. Okay, all right, sweet.
I just wanted to make sure that I, yeah, sweet.
Thank you for that, Ruinlord.
You have just saved the day for me anyway.
If anybody's having issues and they are whitelisted
and they want to get a mint in or whatever,
just go in the um uh infinite royale discord and tag either myself or anthony or toshi or river and we can walk you
through it um i was going to do a screen share if there was a bunch of people you know feeling that
way too and we can always do a screen share on there and i can show you guys how to bridge and
how to connect abstract or anything like that definitely be careful too out there using uh bridges um so some i did bridge something on
one bridge site and i got sent a whole bunch of fucking random shit i've said definitely be
careful out there with what bridging thing you use i'm going to use relay.link because rune uh
rune lord uh recommended it and if i have any problems i'll be coming back to you no i'm joking obviously that's probably something i did wrong
how much how much did you put into la la land salt 30 just i was gonna do one like 30 i think
it was 30 in eth so just like and I wasn't paying attention, bro.
It was just one of these things.
it was right before going to work.
And I was rushing through it.
Normally if I would have just taken my time,
Cause I've done obviously,
a couple of different abstracts.
And so I remember using the relay.
And I, I, I, and normally I don't, i've just learned to kind of slow down not rush i just happened to
that morning i was like let me just get it done i think it was on monday yeah the eighth so i was
just kind of go let's be done with it and just be done with my day you know go start my work day and
i just did i'm like oh oh, crap. So it is what it is.
Yeah, definitely. I get you. I've been done over a couple of times by rushing.
And that's why I like to take things. I was just about to go over and try to win one on the space.
But I'm not going to risk rugging the space and or losing some funds. So I'll have to do that after the space. That's for sure.
Yeah, I really want to encourage you guys. down you know don't rush die no even when there's
stuff telling you to verify you know if you see stuff come up to you know bots telling you to
verify stuff slow your roll a little bit okay i did it a while back i got into brett early i don't
know if you guys know that token brett, I got into it super, super early.
Didn't put a lot of money.
I got that $500 grew to five figures.
And I was doing something stupid
by doing one of these verification bots on Discord.
And I hit yeah, and it drained my base wallet.
And I caught it. it was clicking my base tokens because i was on base at that point i only actually had tokens on base
and it started clicking it hit that it hit my game my my gmc1 so it started clicking on and
wiping out my steps so i finally shut it down and caught it. But by then it already drained me a little bit,
a little bit under 12 grand, but it wasn't 12 grand to cash,
but it was 12 grand that I want my wallet was had in there.
And that's because I clicked on some that wasn't paying attention.
So just slow down. There's nothing to be rushed about.
If you're going to miss a deal, you miss it.
I'd rather miss something now than get drained.
So just slow, you know, be cautious as you move forward.
And if you have doubt, ask.
You know, like, look, I, you know, for me, I'm actually pretty private.
I don't like asking for help a lot of times.
So I don't know if you guys actually know that.
But I'm learning to do it more and more.
The older I'm getting, the more I'm at,
I'm getting more comfortable with asking for help,
There's people around here that have gone through it or they've learned
through experience that I've heard somebody else have gone through it.
So nobody in here has to feel that they're ever alone in this web three
And if you do feel alone,
DM somebody that you actually are comfortable talking to.
You don't have to do this alone.
And no question is a stupid question.
The stupid question is the ones that you don't ask.
That's a stupid question.
Oh, Clayton, I hope you're not going to say something silly right now, bro. That's a stupid question. Oh, Clayton, I hope you're not going to
say something silly right now, bro.
That's a stupid question for sure.
You said no question is a stupid
question. So I was just wondering
when you would be signing
the adoption papers for me and Dope.
See, that's why I said, you know,
that one should have not been asked.
I knew that was a question.
Like, right when I saw your hand up, I go, he's going to ask when I'm signing adoption papers.
You know, here's when I'll sign adoption papers.
When you guys send me the adoption paperwork in Arabic.
I'm sorry, you can't. I got it, you can't I can't help you
You're going to regret saying that
I feel like they're going to get together now
Do all the adoption papers in there
I can just say I can't read it
And there's so many different
And Anza knows this, there's different Arabic dialect that i can just go i that doesn't that's
not the one i wanted it in so i can actually really really stretch this one out bro you have
no idea and i have i have the awesome privilege and and um upper hand is my mom is actually an Arabic major.
She's actually an Arabic major.
And she has a master's in Arabic.
And her thesis, she wrote, was on the Quran.
So she did a four-year thesis on the Quran.
So I have old school Arabic.
So I can just go, man, I can't read this because it's not from this century and it's not this dialect and all that. So I'm good.
It's going to take them a bit to figure out that
I feel like you underestimate
the power of AI, mate. I feel like all that
I do is plug it in and say, make it
in every single Arabic dialect
that ever existed and then send
They can send it on the internet
Do you actually read the Quran?
I'm actually a born again
I left the Muslim faith when I was 19
But I do have interesting discussions with my mom
because as far as as for i haven't met a person that's actually more knowledgeable and has a better
has an understanding of the quran as much as my mom does i haven't i've yet to meet one i'm sure
there's there are plenty of people out there, but she she's actually pretty level-headed
We actually have really in-depth dialogue. We don't we you know, which is really good because a lot of times
GFI well she sounds awesome. Oh, she is she's phenomenal. I i'm i'm blessed. I am i'm you know
My dad was a agnostic my mom, you you know so it was a little it was a kind
of an interesting you know upbringing you know my dad believed there was a god but he he also didn't
get into religion because he felt religion caused more division than anything else
so which is there's a that's a that's pretty accurate, actually. I think that's a mindset.
I think that's a mindset, I think, because I grew up with Catholics, Protestants.
I went to Catholic school.
Obviously, I was a Muslim.
And I had, I was, as a kid, I was really level-headed because it's the way my dad brought us up to be.
He was very, very very tolerant very open-minded
and and you know there's so many similarities within the faith and the biggest thing is that
what i've been taught is that we all believe in the creator so that is the foundation and that's
what should keep us together shouldn't it keep us so we are all fighting with one another just because oh we say this about jesus you say that about jesus the thing is he put he spoke of the lord
he spoke of the father he spoke of god if we say allah so no we say yeah well we speak of the same
thing we speak about god so i don't know why there's so much animosity at the moment in the
uk is so bad i go out and i get so many things said to me now.
I took a picture of this guy's house yesterday
because he's got the British Bulldog up and the Crusaders up and stuff.
And it scares me when I go out there because I don't even want him to see me
because I know exactly what type of character he's going to be.
It's not right what's going on at the moment out there.
There's a lot of hate going on.
It's like we're pushing going on at the moment out there there's a lot of hate going on it's like we we're the mind the thing the pushing that way the minority with the white communities the minority
because we yeah i think what's wrong right now globally is with anything
it's so bad and i'm still being nice i'm still being okay i never ever swear i'll never be nasty
um and and you know we we all if you believe christianity teaches you to love your neighbor
sorry you're taking a break i interrupted you earlier because you actually weren't quiet
yeah i think part of the deal that happens a lot of times right now is people when
when something gets weaponized and it just happens right now the two things that are
this has been consistent it's not new actually politics and religion are usually get weaponized
i mean when people start weaponizing either one of those deals and they draw a line in the sand and this is where I stand.
They this is this is actually what I've my experience has been.
They forget how to be human at that point, because that line that they drew in the sand was more important than anything else.
And that's the part I think where people lose it, is that we've lost our humanity, you know,
and at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what my faith is.
If my faith is not walked out, if I don't walk it out,
so say, okay, yeah, I love your neighbors.
So if I sit there and preach that I love my neighbor and all that,
and then I turn around and I rip on Anza for being Muslim,
how am I loving my neighbor and vice versa that's
the part that people don't understand is if you're going to say you are such a thing walk it out
don't tell me what your faith is show me what your faith is that's where i think you, even my dad used to say to us, don't speak.
Show, for example, the way you are as a human being.
You show, because my dad's friend is Christian.
You said you've left your faith.
My dad's best mate, he was Christian.
And he used to sit with me dad, all the stuff he went through and everything.
He still used to be smiling. He used to be so happy. He used to be went through and everything still used to be smiling used to be so happy used to be
helping everyone and everything and he changed his faith to islam because of my dad i spoke to
uncle uncle bob um he changed his name to uthman and uh i said say uncle bob what is it that's
made you what what has made you a muslim and he said should i tell you who's made you it what what has made you a Muslim and he said you tell you who's made me Muslim to tell you what made me Muslim and I said what and
he said it's your dad's said what do you mean by my it's his attitude and his
character and the way he carries himself that's what turned me into a
Muslim unless you didn't really look into the faith you just looked at my
dad no I looked into the ground as well but I looked at the way your dad's
behaved and the way he is and how resilient he is to people's hate and stuff like that.
He's just full of love, your dad.
So, you know, we're going to meet people who are good and bad in every faith.
But the thing is, like you say, we are all human.
And inside of us, I firmly believe deep down, we all believe that there's something Out there that's a higher power
Every single one of us even if we say that
We don't but I believe every single person
No I agree I agree with that
I think you walk it out you show
Me who you what your faith is by the
Way that you act you know and that
That's that's for me because I can
Tell you this the guys that actually have done
That have ripped me off the most,
that have done the most damage to me, personally, from an emotional, financial standpoint.
I can't say physical because that's not my deal.
But from a business standpoint, even, you know, especially from a financial standpoint,
have been people that call themselves Christians.
And some of them have been like mates of mine
you know the guy the guy that ripped me off the most i i knew since i was 19 years old
and he took me for seven figures you know so that's the part so it's not your face because
the reality is you know if you're a piece if you're a piece of crap or you know it doesn't
matter what your faith is you're still going to be that're a piece of crap or, you know, it doesn't matter what your face is.
You're still going to be that because it's that individual.
The face is what happens, what you hide behind.
You know, and the biggest part is who are you when nobody's watching?
When you're alone and nobody's looking at you, you're not at how do you act?
You know, and I try to be the same way that I am with you know with at home
than I am when I'm outside in public too that's really what something I try to
do there's days I hit it right on and there's days I feel miserably you know
but I continue push forward because for me what ends up doing my face aside and
everything I want my ten day I want my kids to be proud of who their dad is.
And my wife to be proud of who her husband is.
And then everything else is secondary to me.
Those are the four opinions that matter to me are under my roof.
And for me, what they say of me is the most important thing.
Everything else outside of that is kind of honestly a white noise to me.
Honestly, I've just spilled some very knowledgeable and crazy facts.
And ever since I've had kids, that's the one thing that's just driven me to be the best man I can be,
is just the kids and the wife.
I feel like they push it the furthest, to be completely honest.
Maybe a little bit of a stupid question, but is the Koran like the Bible?
I'm just not very educated on it, that's all.
Yes and no because you have the bible the bible is actually what you have it started started with the torah torah is for you know if you're judism the bible is an extension based for the church
as a whole and then the quran was and came after the bible was written. And then there are a lot of Samaritans in the, in the Quran there are in the Bible.
And what it lines up is who,
where they place Jesus and where Muhammad is placed.
But where the Bible doesn't mention anything about Muhammad.
Versus the Quran does mention some stuff about Jesus,
It's basically the Muslimslims trace trace their
lineage back to ishmael while that while the christians go back to i excuse me
sorry i just got uh so i'm in my it's uh isaac is where christians go back to
and ishmael is where the mus trace back to. So that's kind of
really happened and they both
acknowledge Abraham, Moses
so there's a lot of similarities there
the pecking or where Jesus stands
and where Muhammad stands
the biggest fundamental difference is that you know and then everything else is where people
have added over the years because just like in the bible some things have been added and changed
same same with the quran you know so that's kind of the part so
yes sorry i probably should have phrased that question better the
quran is the book of the muslim people and then like the bible is the book of the um christians
and catholics that's what i was kind of getting at but yeah no i think you um summed that up pretty
well thank you yeah yeah which is really it's it's funky it it's not funky it just it's uh a lot of his
interpretation just like within the christian faith be a catholic protestant you know christians
whatever you want to call it there's over 1400 denominations just within the christian faith
so within the bible there's 1400 different denominations have come out of that
where it's actually at the end of the day we're preaching the same thing but they there's some
certain somebody will come up with something that says hey we're going to go in this direction all
of a sudden it becomes another denomination released so it's just that you know it's just
little little fundamental differences i, sometimes it's not really
the structural thing, but it's just, they might
disagree on some, so they'll start
Yeah, right, fair enough.
I didn't even know, to be completely honest.
This is why I love these spaces.
I feel like you're the dad of the
Salina Dead so whether you like it or not
we don't need no paperwork
except probably Rune Lord can be your brother
I feel like he's probably not
yeah that's what I'm saying.
Let's play guess my age here, guys.
I was going to say maybe 41.
No, he's got a kid in their 20s.
He's got to be in his 40s.
So I'm 35 my uh our eldest are 18 and um they're actually my wife's from a different uh marriage so um they're not not technically my my two are are 10
and 9 okay sorry got it i thought it was the other way around bro i thought you had
kids for you know like you had the kid kids you know so yeah no i raised the other two uh for
seven years something like that so uh i do consider them mine but but definitely not biologically related.
That means you've got yourself a cougar, mate, a cradle snatcher.
See, that's living the life, mate.
See, no, well, see, that was going to be my next thing was other older kids from your wife.
I was just thinking that.
That's why I said around 41, but 35, that's pretty insane, to be completely honest.
I'm 28. Yeah, seven years? I'm 28.
Yeah, seven years older than me.
Do we know how old Clayton is?
Because I feel like he's in his
I think Clayton's in his early 30s.
on Clayton. I would guess 38.
Could be. He could be younger.
He could even be younger than me.
Somewhere between 32 and 38 is my shot.
I think I'm the grandmother of the group.
I think I'm the oldest. Yeah, because I think i'm the grandma's other group i think i'm the old the oldest son and
yeah because i think i'm older than what what i think what's the closest one timmy
yeah you and what are our two dads man i'm gonna start going around telling people that
so there you go you know now clean up here to set the record straight man
Huh, you guys you talk shit
Come back up. No, I was I was on the phone
And it kicked me off as a speaker, but now I'm I like just turned 33
Yeah, I'm a little baby just like you got you know that yeah when you phil or sam going back in the day i'm like shit you're back in the day
i'm on the youngest team then uh you what are you what are you're 28
no no you're not because i identify not as 33 but 23 so i identify as 23 but honestly though i i
feel that way like my mind like feels 23.
It doesn't feel like I'm in my 30s.
Yeah, but Clayton also identifies as they and them.
So, you know, there you go.
You got to actually take that part with it, too.
And I identify as Salt's son.
Cause I keep thinking I'm 40.
I got the mindset of a 40 year old.
I just want my grass green.
I just want to sit there and watch me grass grow.
Are you at that stage of just getting off my sitting there,
watching the lawn and the rocket chair salt and telling people to get off
Have you hit that stage yet?
I'm not there. And i hope i never get there
i i actually generally like people around me you know but i also don't like people that take that
want to take advantage like if you're somebody like i i'm dealing with it right now personally
i have my nephew has been you know i didn't know most of you guys know i built that greenhouse and
my nephew's staying staying it well one of the rules I have in my house is what you do away from my place, I'm good with.
Don't bring that shit to my house.
So one of the things that I told him is I said, dude, you can't get high in my house.
Like, I don't need you and your friends coming out and getting loaded on my patio or going in the backyard and getting stoned and all that.
So I don't need that shit around me.
I don't need it around my kids, you know.
Well, my nephew forgets that I used to be a pothead when i was younger you know so he forgets those
things you know so he's been like smoking and he tries to spray like cologne or air freshen around
and i'm like bro it doesn't work he's like well it well, it wasn't me. It was my, I said, look, here's the deal. Here's what I got for you. I said, the next time you choose to get loaded at the house,
just pack your shit and move. That would be the last that you live here. I said, one of the things
that we agreed upon is nobody's willing to take you in right now because you have an issue that
you like getting being high and you like getting stoned and don't want to take be responsible and all that i said i'm you were our you know like our place is your last shot
after this you're kind of screwed your dad doesn't want to your mom can't have you and your sisters
don't want you moving in with them so you're falling in my lap right now so you know i've
built this greenhouse for you we bought it we built it and all that stuff for you to stay there
but you need to get on your two feet well we're having a meeting this wednesday it's going to be to come to jesus
meeting where he's going to find out that come february 1st he's he's not going to have a place
to live i mean he's done i'm done with the you know my hostel services are over no i'm i'm good
i'm going to move and go back to be normal again he's just a responsible 25 year old
you know he thinks i'm gonna nurse someone all that and that's not my cup of tea man i 25 was
planning i was planning my wedding at 25 you know so he needs to just kind of wake up
wake up dude i feel like like the generation like after mine it's so weird they don't want to
like you said i'll move down to home as soon as i was 17 working full-time straight out of school
i was planning my wedding i think at 24 25 as well so like i'm i'm the same like it's just
and then the the um the kids these just – and the kids these days.
I say the kids these days, but I am a kid to you.
But you know what I'm saying?
But I need to – I don't know if you want to share a photo or hit me in the DMs.
A greenhouse in my head is a clear – like a see-through house for your plants.
Like, what do you mean you've got someone staying in a greenhouse like isn't it like it is clear and it's actually the the panels are opaque
so you can't see through it so that is accurate it is clear even the roof is clear so what i've
done on the roof is we've actually i've thrown a plastic tarp that one side of it actually reflects
the sun so it actually pushes
kind of somewhat doesn't really push the heat away it still gets hot in there because all the other
stuff but i have that on his roof and what he's done is inside he's put up some sheets on you know
hooked up so it can block some of the lights but yeah it's a greenhouse bro yeah it is exactly what
you think is a greenhouse the bottom bottom panels of it are all cedar and the top are inserts uh clear you know opeg plastic inserts
that go in there but say yes it is it is a greenhouse i'll take a picture of it and post it
post it again you know and and in the i'm under somewhere some comment or whatever i'll send it to you but yeah but yeah
it's a it's a full-blown greenhouse you know the next thing is too you can't have a stone living
in greenhouse and telling them they don't get stone that's like it's it's called it's a greenhouse
like you know what i'm saying obviously there's different rules and stuff with living to you but
like that's this kind of the way i feel like he's thinking like yeah but the rules
were laid out before i even put up the greenhouse so we didn't even have the greenhouse purchase
and all that said okay this is where we're at this is what you can you do this if you can't
well i'm good bro you don't need to move here you know he's like no i want to do it i'm going to get
my shit together i appreciate you guys wanting to help me cool let's do it and i'm gonna be really
100 transparent with you guys and my wife knows this if it wasn't for my wife there's no way on
god's green earth he was moving in with us my wife his aunt because it's her brother's kid
you know it's like hey i said we're gonna give it a shot i said but we have to you know stand
be united front if he does xyz you can't be sit there and go well you
know let's do and i'm like we can't do this stuff it's like okay yeah we're totally down but and
then it's a long history but my wife is trying to overcompensate for some of her brother's
shortcomings you know because my brother and i decided to leave his family back in 2009 to have an affair so and his it happens that his fat he
had he lived he lived across street from me so he i bought my house based on where my brother-in-law
lived because him and his family actually were my neighbors so it's a little different dynamic for
us so we've kind of had to what you know i've've kind of became their dad. So, you know, I got Clayton and, you know, dope trying to meet, get roomy to adopt them. I literally became,
you know, became, added four kids to my family when my brother and I decided to walk out on his.
So I ended up adding three nieces and a nephew. So I was raising basically seven kids at one point,
you know, and I, his kids, you know, my niece and nephew deal with me more than they deal with
their dad even to this day so that's kind of part so you know he's you know my i guess i want you
know i i don't need to have a son i got a nephew you know because i kind of raised him a little bit
you know but he wanted to go kind of do some stuff when I wasn't willing to chase him. So it is what it is.
you don't get to pick your family,
that's one thing that I was having a lot of thought week. I couldn't do it.
I was dealing with family dramas as well.
everyone says blood's thicker than water,
it can be exhausting and dealing with shit like that and like it's just oh i'm i'm it's kind of
bad though because i can like if someone pisses me off enough i just can completely cut them out
and not even care not even want to like speak to them. Like they literally just leave my mind forever. Um, once I did make that decision and it's so hard for me to like,
let my mind think about them again.
but you give people the benefit of the doubt so many times you can only do
it so many times before you're like,
this is clearly not getting any better or anything.
I need to like stop cutting people out of my life so quick.
I need to give them the benefit of the doubt,
but you do that like four or five times and then they're like,
it's not worth the time and energy to be completely honest.
Family's family's tricky.
man. Like right now he supposedly has a job
well the best part is the place that he told me he works at and the hours that he works
the place doesn't even open those hours so i'm like dude so why you like why you like it's like
if you're gonna lie to me at least work on your lie like don't make it that easy for me to catch you in it
like put some effort into it you know and it's like it's just weird so that that's kind of where
one of the issues that's coming up this Wednesday when we meet when we sit on meet because he's
supposedly been going to work at this fictitious job that I know if i call right now they'll go we don't know who that is you know and so my
part of it is like i want to be the real dick uncle and then when we're meeting on wednesday
to actually call that place and go hey can i speak to so-and-so oh he doesn't work here and
just kind of have it on speaker so he kind of listens to what you know it's like look stupid
you know so that's something that one of the things I got to deal with right now
with him. Because supposedly
he's getting money from his job
don't even try with me right now.
You don't get to pick your family.
You kind of get stuck with them, unfortunately.
I'm sure they say that about me too.
They're stuck with me me so there you go
yeah definitely it's it's one of those things and well it's just everything but we before we
will be rolling into the crypto stoner space um it starts in about a minute it is the closest
pin thing to the top so i mean go set your mind as i was supposed to say when i did it
um but i didn't so yeah no i'm we're all gonna
roll into that one but just quickly we had dad pop up and see if he wants to hit us with a quick gm
gm guys uh i just wanted to thank you guys for uh hosting a great space it was a really great time
here uh i apologize i was gonna pop up earlier but i was having some some connection issues in
the elevator um but yeah it was a great space.
Great to be here. I just want to add my two cents on the basement stuff. We do not have basements
here in Florida because of the flooding. And I imagine most of the South does not have basements
either for that same reason and insurance reasons as well. It'd be quite... The insurance here is
already expensive. So I cannot imagine what a basement would do to that
um but besides that yeah great space great great listening to all you guys um great conversation and i'm just happy to be here very uh always an interesting time uh with you guys so thank you
for having me no you're right thanks for being here thanks for popping up and showing your
support and the fact that you as soon as you mentioned florida and basement i instantly thought because i watched a couple youtubers and i see how bad
the flooding and how low and everything is over there so that definitely makes sense that it'd
just be like a big underwater water tank essentially that point we'd be able to mend
the waterproofing see that's the thing that you couldn't even do it with waterproofing because
it would push the i honestly reckon it'd probably push the house out of the ground because I don't know if people know if you empty a pool in ground,
it will slowly start rising.
So definitely don't go emptying your pools.
It's honestly pretty funny to watch when people mess that up.
But, yeah, thanks for popping up here, mate.
And we're just trying to do my thing.
I need to get back more on the ground and get these spaces popping off again.
But I'm on holiday soon, so there'll be even streams and stuff coming up um i just wanted to
thank unza um but she disappeared um for chatting and salt heaters uh rudely abruptly left as well
so i'll be uh bringing that up with him so did clayton actually oh wait the everyone's in the um
everyone's in the crypto centers one.
There, we're shutting this one down and heading over there.
Thank you all for popping up.
Thank you, Rune Lord, for co-hosting.
And in turn, I know you're doing your best.
And I will speak to you all next week, Friday.
End and enjoy your week at work.
