Thank you. you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you Thank you. Hey guys, welcome to the Memeocracy.
Nice to see seven of us in here. I'm bringing the JD account in.
My computer's being annoying, but he'll be back in a second. He'll be in, he'll be in.
He being me. I'm JD. I'm behind the Soon account. You guys know that.
But X likes to be weird, and it likes to make it hard to find spaces on my laptop.
I don't really know why it does that
to me. If anybody wants to request the mic, please feel free. We just had a meeting with a small but
early and excited group of Alpha Scouts that we've got on board, so we're ready to share a little bit
more about what's to come. Why is this space not showing up for me. There it is.
Don't tell me my own space isn't important.
You can't do that to me.
Cool. Alright.
We've got a quorum.
I'm going to add JD as a co-host.
If anybody else wants to co-host, let me know.
There we go.
All right, guys. So this is an exciting time.
I'm super excited to meet with you all
share a little bit more information about what we got going on and what's coming up next
there's a lot going on when it comes to building for soon and then there's also a lot to look
forward to when it comes to promotions right so i think what we've been doing a lot is cooking
and building and we're really ready to flip the switch toward promotional activity, which is what it's all about.
You've got to build good things, but you've got to get people to see them.
We've got more people that need to see them.
So before we do that, let's retweet the room, if you don't mind.
Let's let everybody know that we're here, see who else we get.
I'll retweet myself.
Democracy time.
Let's see, we got a request.
Meg, thank you for requesting.
As you can tell, I'm roaming through my house.
My kids are watching football. They're telling me, Dad, how are you?
Hey, JD, I'm good. How are you? Good to be here. Happy Sunday, everyone.
Good to see you. Happy Sunday to you. I i'll tell you i was addicted to watching football afternoon because well i love to do that and then we left this party i was at family thing um and my kids
were happy to leave we got home and my kids looking at me like are you gonna watch this
you watch that it's overtime dad dad dad and i'm like soon
soon he's like when i'm like soon but we'll get there we'll get there yeah i think my team is
actually playing right now and i'm missing it i'm pretty sure they're four o'clock is that the
panthers no the bangles i'm a bangles fan i know it's's weird, but that's been my team for a really long time.
I think Joe Burrow might have got hurt.
Yeah, he might be all right.
I don't know his status, but he did have a little bit of an injury today.
Don't tell me that.
I hope he's all right.
I hope he is.
I like the Bengals.
My kid's one of his favorite games.
Did they play it?
Yeah. Are they playing now?
Or did they play earlier?
Oh, they already played. They played earlier.
Yeah, they played at 1.
Why did I think they were at 4 o'clock today?
Well, they still won. We still won.
I know why you thought that.
You were too excited about soon to think about anything else.
That's why.
We all have that
problem. Benjamin has that problem too. Um, all right. So this is a sort of a quick meeting,
sort of a heads up on what's going to happen next. And, um, let me see if Aria can jump in this. She was having some connectivity issues, but maybe I can give her this
link to see if she'll join us. Otherwise, we'll proceed without her. Where is she?
Love to have Aria here, but if we can't get her, that's okay.
I know she's had some trouble with her Wi-Fi.
All right.
So the reason I mentioned Aria is because I'm super excited.
We've got a couple of Alpha Scouts already on board,
and those Alpha Scouts are ready to dig in.
And so here's the way that we've been thinking about moving forward.
So I'll just describe the approach. Those of you who are here, I think understand the narrative.
So I won't go back and start over with all of that. But I'm inviting anyone who's here to come
on stage and ask questions. So just stop me. We can do AMAs in any of these spaces.
I'm more than happy to go into detail on anything you want to ask about, whether that be tokenomics or be sort of the narrative, the utility, the artwork, the people involved, like any of the stuff. Right. Totally cool. If you want to jump in and ask questions.
I'm going to dig right into a quick high-level summary of the narrative, the utility, and then go into how we're going to move forward in promoting it next.
So basically, you know, Soon is all about that emotional sort of waiting and waiting and waiting that we all go through.
We ask when, we hear Soon, and we wait and we wait.
And then most of the time, nothing happens.
So we got tired of that, made a meme coin out of it, created this character called Benjamin.
He's down there hanging out with us.
You know, he's tired of waiting.
He's not really here to sit around and wait anymore.
He's tired of hearing soon and getting nothing.
So he's taking matters into his own hands, right?
You know, he's throwing up fists and he's just getting ready.
He's ready, man.
He just can't wait.
This guy is so excited.
And what he's going to do is he's going to bring this group of Alpha Scouts together
because he can't do this alone.
And what he wants to do is go find the devs that really ship,
the ones that show up to their communities repeatedly.
They don't make promises and then flake, bail, disappear.
They make promises, and then they show up and deliver on them.
No guarantees that they're having a perfect day, perfect time.
That's okay. We're all human.
But showing up, coming back to your community,
and delivering on what you said you would. When we find those projects, the Alpha Scouts are going
to keep a close eye on them. And then when they drop new releases, Alpha Scouts will celebrate
those new releases with us. They'll tell us what happened, why it matters, and how people can use
it in short TLDR formats. So the SoonX account becomes full of these short snackable updates
on projects that just deliver tech so people can easily consume that release, understand what it is,
and dig deeper if they want to. Knowing that the Soon sort of seal of approval is on this project,
it doesn't mean that there's a guarantee that this project is going to make
them money. And it doesn't mean this project is guaranteed to be here forever. It just means
that a group of individuals who's making it their mission to find good devs is saying,
hey, I really like this one. And the Soon brand will represent that. And it's going to be very,
very meaningful. And so for that reason, these Alpha Scouts that are going to work under Benjamin's leadership are going to be really, really paying
close attention to this job and taking it very seriously, trying to find projects that are legit
and then giving them the exposure they deserve on the SOON account, on the SOON stage like this.
And so I expect to grow this room over time to a point where we have more and more people paying
attention because they're here to get the updates every week on these projects that delivered, what they shipped, and maybe even hear from some of those devs on our stage.
So that's the vision.
Benjamin himself will have a voice and he'll be on the stage.
And so I'm recruiting voice talent.
I've got two people in DMs right now that are auditioning, but we're still looking for a voice actor. If anyone wants to be the voice of Benjamin, they'll get an allocation and they'll
have a fun job. They'll be on stage with us talking sort of in round table format with these
devs and with the Alpha Scouts, and then maybe once a week or so recording a small voiceover
for an animation. So if anyone feels like they want to get on stages and be the voice of Benjamin,
we're handing out an allocation for that. And I think it's a super cool job. If I wasn't the dev
of this project, I would absolutely do it. You guys know I'm JD. So JD is the guy that would
totally be the voice of Benjamin if he could. I think that'd be hilarious. I think it'd be fun.
But people tell me because I'm the dev, I shouldn't do it. So how do we move forward from here?
Well, we've got two to three Alpha Scouts confirmed.
I say two to three because there are three.
But as you guys know, this is Web3, right?
And so sometimes in crypto, people commit to things,
and then sometimes they're hard to reach.
And there's one person in the Alpha scout group without mentioning names who I haven't
heard from in 48 hours.
And I can't, like, that can't be how we operate.
And I respect every human being on this planet for all the things that come up, things that
challenge them, things that make it difficult to, you know, be here every day.
But if life takes you in that direction, it's just okay to not commit to a job like this.
And so we might want to replace that person if they don't come back in the next 24 hours with, you know, a really good explanation and the, like, full commitment and accountability to return.
And again, this is not me being upset.
This is me being, like, totally reasonable with an individual who might have changed their mind or have some circumstance that pulls them away.
So let's not belabor that point. But yeah, I respect those things for people.
So the next steps, I think this is going to be really cool. So here's what we're going to do.
And I'd love input from the group. If you guys have ideas on how we can adjust the promotional plan I'm about to describe.
I would love you guys to just jump on stage and tell me
or come to the Telegram and talk about that.
But here's what we're going to do.
We just had a meeting, me and the initial Alpha Scout group,
and here's where we landed.
The first thing we're going to do is we have an animation that's ready.
It's, I think, a really good piece. It's about a minute long, and it's a good introduction been recruiting Alpha Scouts yet. I wouldn't say. What we've been
doing is talking about it a little bit. We haven't really helped people understand what the job
entails. So the point of this animation is to give people more understanding around what this thing
is. Why do Alpha Scouts exist? What are they going to do? And how are we going to find them?
So there's a fun animation piece that's going to give us that sort of context.
And when we launch that,
we'll push it out through the main account on X.
Sorry, guys, I messed up.
I jumped the gun.
I jumped the gun.
I'm sorry.
Give me a chance.
I'm going to back up.
There's something we do before that
that we just added on.
We're going to start doing these coded tweets.
This happens now,
as soon as now, right? I'll do this tonight and encourage all of you to think about doing this.
I'll put some ideas in our telegram, but things like this, right? Imagine people that are here
right now, particularly myself, the Soon account, Benjamin, AlphaScout that are already on board,
Alpha Scouts that are already on board
Stuff like this
A tweet like
Another dev, MIA
The community deserves better
Where are the real builders?
Ever wonder when the realest builders on chain
Will get in the spotlight?
It's coming
Right, so these types of like coded posts
That can help people start to see us As people that are frustrated with the waiting, ready to make soon become now, ready to find the devs that really deliver.
Let's build that persona up around ourselves so that we come in later with the Alpha Scouts and with the solution to this problem.
We've already been setting up the problem.
It's an old school tactic.
It's been used a million times in crypto Twitter. So apologies for me jumping the gun earlier, but immediate next step is coded posts.
Right after that, we go into the animation being launched by the main account. And that's when we
say Alpha Scout recruitment is now officially underway. Benjamin's all ready to go. The
animation's included. And there'll be a Google
form where people can apply to be an Alpha Scout. Very simple form, nothing overwhelming. But
I talked to an advisor actually of mine that said that this Google form idea would help like
legitimize the role. So if people have to like click through to a link and go to a form and
submit it to be considered an
Alpha Scout, it just makes the job feel a little bit more real. And I thought that was smart advice.
So we're going to do that with this official launch of the recruitment. That'll be in one post.
Then the Alpha Scouts that are already on board are going to quote retweet that post,
and they're going to announce their roles. This will be the first time
that those scouts are publicly declaring
that they're going to be a soon alpha scout
and that they're proud and excited
and they're ready to dig in.
And I think that's great
because it scales our reach to their networks
and it starts to create like this bit of maybe FOMO
where people see that,
oh, someone really did take this job
that JD and Soon and
everybody keep talking about. This is a real thing. And then when you see other people doing it,
you know, peer pressure, that's how it works, right? It's like, oh, maybe I should do that.
What is this AlphaScout thing that, you know, Meg's talking about or Sam's talking about or
Chad Soon's talking about, et cetera. Right around that time, I'll also pay for a Dex Boost. I'm happy to do a Dex Boost or two,
and we'll have the Telegram busy. We're counting on you guys, right? Some of you,
if not all of you, to help. Really important, guys. We're all busy. If you have trouble getting
to the Telegram often, I can't like really sit here and beg you to
do it. But guys, please, if you're holding some soon and you want to help push this project,
dropping in a couple of times a day, saying a good morning, answering someone else who said,
how's everyone doing, getting to know each other, this stuff matters. I mean, we're going to be
here for a long time, building something special together and we should know each other. So pop in, say hello, be a little bit active. But most important, though, is when we do these launches, when we do that first post, and when we do the Dex Boost, we really got to have people active, because that's when new people will show up to the Telegram and want to meet us, right? And that energy has to build. And that's how all of us grow our project, our bags together. We're also going to allocate some soon for giveaways.
And so the Alpha Scouts will run their own giveaways. So I'm going to give each Alpha
Scout an allocation to give away. And they can just do that as they see fit. And I think that's
fun. I think that makes it their own. because alpha scouts should have ownership over their job like some of them have said to me hey
jd is this one okay what do you think of this i'm happy to help but the reason that the alpha
scouts are in their role is because they're good at this and because they know their category better
than i will like i'm not going to possibly know everything about defy and gaming and AI and NFTs and blah, blah, blah.
Like, I can't, right?
Plus, I want to spend my time debbing this project and not spending my time doing the things that the Alpha Scouts do.
Because together we'll be better if we all, you know, crush our own respective roles.
Happy to give feedback to you guys, but I'm just saying, I really want the Alpha Scouts to, like, truly own this.
And I want some of these Alpha Scouts to be able to use this as a bit of a resume item,
to be able to say that you were a soon Alpha Scout and that you became a true trusted expert in a category of crypto.
That's a great thing to be able to say.
And so for that reason, I'm excited to bring in maybe some more junior people too,
people that are less experienced that want to just learn a
category and get good at it. You know, they'll get a nice bag of soon for the job. They can grow it.
They can make a lot of money on that. And at the same time, they can like have a real incentive to
become an expert in an area of crypto that they might really want to love and know someday.
And this industry is growing and maturing. Some people might get
real full-time jobs because they're great at AI and the blockchain someday, right? That could be
the kind of job that kids come out of college and want in a few years. So some young person
could actually build their future through soon. And I mean that. So if anyone's younger and junior and wants to get
involved, like this is, this is a great opportunity and we will shout your name from the rooftops and
give you a lot of credit to the extent that we can. So I think that's really cool. So that's
the plan. Coded posts. We announced that we're officially recruiting with the Google form for
people to apply to be an Alpha Scout and the animation. The Alpha Scouts repost it and they add their own
excitement about being an official Alpha Scout. And then they start doing giveaways. And I think
this is going to bring a lot more eyes to us while we have the ads running. This whole mix of
engagement activity feels like really special to me and it feels powerful.
And after that is when we start to really dig in and drop the alpha.
We've got more animations cooking to support that. I won't keep going. I know it's coming a lot,
but just know that like, this is the recruitment phase. And after that is going to be the,
here's when we start delivering the alpha phase.
And that's a whole nother set of excitement that we've got.
So yeah, this project has multiple catalysts ahead.
The big one is the recruitment and we're ready to go.
Meg, you're on stage and I'm super happy to have you as a DeFi scout.
So, you know, welcome.
Do you want to say anything?
Is there anything you want to share about your initial experience as an Alpha
scout? What that feels like?
Yeah, I can share some things.
So I am doing the DeFi sector.
Some of the projects might focus in on projects that have airdrops.
Not all of them will, but just cause I love airdrops not all of them will but just because I love
airdrops also I wanted to kind of throw that in there but just starting out I'm trying to be
careful about the projects I bring and the projects that you know I put my name under because I have
had situations in the past where I've you know worked for different
projects and they haven't turned out to be the best and I know we can't control
everything but I'm really gonna try to do my best with everything so the things
I'm looking for is you know new projects or either new updates on projects that
are already existing.
I look at the market cap.
You know, some of them won't have one because there's not a coin yet.
TVO, try to make sure it's not, you know, too big.
I am looking for projects that the team is all or the team is doxxed.
I don't really at this point feel comfortable doing projects that the team isn't doxxed so that's something and this is just me personally that I've decided for the
projects I'm going to recommend so I'm looking at that and then it's it's been kind of odd because
you know I'm looking through a lot and I'll go to a project and then two days later
that project's x account is suspended or it just doesn't exist or the followers have weirdly dropped
down and so you could tell they were maybe bought it or something so I am I do want to bring projects
that I make sure are you know rep rule like have a good reputation um
because I want to give the best projects so they might not be some of mine might not be the smallest
you know little projects because I feel like I do want to you know make sure that they are
trustworthy as much as they can be I know there is still no control over that any even the biggest
project could turn out to be something that rugs I mean we've seen it a million times in the past
we've seen it with Luna we saw it with you know the FTX situation so you can just never be
too sure and that is why you always do your research after me anyways. Don't just go take a project I recommend. Always
do your own research. But yes, I will be trying my best. So that's my little spiel.
Thank you. I love the authenticity in that answer. It feels like, I get it. Look, we don't,
this is not a hype space. It never will be. this won't be like uh you know i won't name
names right we've all been in those spaces where it's just like someone's shoving it down your
throat and that's not our goal our goal is to keep people real information that they can use
and like you said meg do your own research um i like your point about like the size of projects
mattering it does to some extent but yeah yeah, larger ones can rug. So,
you know, it's not easy. And that's the point of this job. We know it's not easy,
but if you make it your focus to find the ones that are doing it right in a certain category,
you're going to be better than most other people at finding those good projects,
just because you made it your job. And that's why
I say like a younger person getting into this role would be amazing because maybe they don't
have the pressures of a person who's got like another job already or whatever. And they're just
eager to learn about a space. You don't have to have tons of experience in that particular category
to like, just make it your job and focus on it and learn it because if you just
focus on it all day like you're gonna learn those little signs that hey wait that one that did rug
i should have known and here's why we've all been through that right and the more you go through it
the more you learn not to repeat those mistakes but you know meg you've been in the space forever
and you're still making the mistakes and so so so am I. And so are other people.
So it's just it's not super easy.
But, yeah, we're going to build this team of people that can help give that little bit of extra layer of comfort that they're dealing with legitimate projects.
And that's really all this is about.
We're not a space that just takes your hundred bucks to get on the stage or whatever.
of space that just takes your hundred bucks to get on the stage or whatever and there's a million
And there's a million of those stages.
of those stages um you know we only bring on projects that we sought out identified ourselves
and felt great about and that's what makes this better and special so i'm super excited about it
excited to have you meg i also think um you know your ability to generate engagement is going to
help us obviously right like you have a way bigger following than me and probably bigger than most of the people on the call.
So super excited that you're generous enough to share that with us.
Truly appreciate you for that.
And yeah, like you doing giveaways goes a long way.
And I bet there are people in your network that might be some of those people that, you know,
would be excited to take on this role and become an Alpha Scout too.
So anyway, no need to react to that.
But yeah, I appreciate you, Meg.
Coop, I hope you're well.
I haven't talked to you in a while.
I know that you've been dealing with some stuff, man,
but I genuinely love you.
I've really enjoyed our time working together.
So just so you guys know, Coop Mania was actually one of the devs
in this project at the beginning.
And, you know, I've had to step away for some personal reasons.
I won't belabor that that's your, your prerogative coup,
but thank you for the heart.
Cause it means a lot for me to just connect with you on that level.
And I hope,
love having you around and you're always welcome in the community or key
piece of it.
Sam true Chad,
the fact that you've stepped up the way you have when the team,
went shorthanded and the two of you throwing up those hearts makes me
really happy.
Chad soon. You're a fucking animal. Like the way that you light up the timeline,
it's just unbelievable. Really, like, guys, Chad Soon spontaneously appeared on X,
and is just incredible. Like, you got to follow this guy. He's just, he's just like the just like
major raiders, like always trolling everybody and telling them that their shit sucks and they should follow soon.
I don't know.
I don't know what he says, but it's hilarious.
Benjamin, you're just a dude that I made up, but I love you, man.
And Benjamin's guy's own account, so he's having fun.
And I've told the people auditioning to be the voice of Benjamin that it's okay if his personality shifts to align with them.
Because right now he's like this D-Gen dude you know I don't know the person that's the voice might not be quite right for the sort of persona he has in the timeline and I'm okay with that
changing a little bit he can clean himself up or he can get dirtier I don't know we'll see who we
at uh peanut appreciate having you um I owe you more visits to your spaces i always like your spaces
you guys should follow peanut if you haven't good dude good spaces um so so red buddha i don't think
we've met but nice to see you in crypto guy good to have you man you've been in the telegram a lot
just want to give everybody a shout out individually because at the end of the day we succeed together
or we don't succeed so um, um, appreciate you all.
One thing I will say, quick tip, Meg and I just talked about this and Meg is already like having, her life is already better because of me. That's, that's not, not a lie. Right, Meg? Isn't that true?
It's true. It's true. All right. So I'll tell you guys why I made Meg's life so much better.
All right. So I'll tell you guys why I made Meg's life so much better. And I'm going to do this for you, too. In Telegram, do you all use folders already? Because if you don't, it can truly change your life. Telegram folders, if you don't use them, guys, this might be the best alpha you ever get from this stage. I'm sorry, but this could be true.
Sorry, but this could be true.
In Telegram, if you go to, I'm kidding, we'll give you better alpha.
But if you go to Telegram, right, in your mobile app, and you go to settings, and then
you go to chat folders, mobile app, settings, chat folders, start creating folders.
And you now have exponential, like endless amounts of pinned Telegram groups.
You know, you can pin your
groups and then they max out and then you can't pin anymore. This completely gets rid of that
problem. You can now have a folder for all your DMs and a folder for all your soon telegrams,
because you should definitely have one of those because soon is so important to you.
And then you should have like a folder for your top bags. I have one for top bags. I went for
services, which would be like, you know, different bots and things that i use um tools support groups like you know deck deck
screener support whatever but just create these folder structures and then you can easily find
all your telegrams every single time and this is why meg is going to be like answering me
immediately every single time i ask her something now, which is amazing.
I'm kidding.
But yeah, no, for real, guys.
If you've ever felt lost in Telegram, folders will change your life.
I won't say it again.
This is the last time.
On the mobile app, settings, chat folders, create them and add your chats.
I'm telling you, it will change your life.
So do that. Be active in the
soon telegram. Know that our tokenomics are incredibly strong. Know that we are blessed
with a liquidity pool of like 65K that's locked. Holy shit. We just are so happy and so lucky.
Also know that, well, I'll just let this slip now. You guys know we originally launched on GFM.
And the GFM platform may or may not go on, right? That's just the facts. The leadership
stepped down, the projects in, you know, depending on where it goes, it may or may not live on in
terms of the GFM token and the leadership. But the protocol they bill and the smart contract
still exists on Meteora for staking soon. So if anyone wants to stake soon, they technically still
can on the GFM website. But I want to protect all of you. So I talked to the GFM dev team,
and I wanted to fully understand the implications of having you soon staked.
Technically, because the smart contract
is living independent of the front end website, if you had the right access to it, you could stake
and unstake soon as much as you want. So I got the SDK from them and we're testing out maybe putting
staking on the Soon website.
So the new Soon website that does a really good job explaining the Alpha Scouts and Benjamin will soon have an Alpha Scout page where we have more information about all of our
esteemed Alpha Scouts, their bios and all that stuff.
Maybe their own alpha section there someday.
But we also can add staking so that you can stake and unstake your soon on the website directly.
And it's only for soon.
And it would still be going through that GFM protocol.
I'm not sure if I want to do this.
Like we're trying it, we're talking about it.
I would love opinions from people.
I don't want this project to be sort of pegged to GFM or dependent on GFM or anything
like that. So part of me is like, do I even want to do this or just want to completely cut ties?
But if people want to stake there soon, I mean, 90% of the trading fees will come back to you as
Solana and soon as extra free internet money. So it's kind of crazy not to
offer that. But there's a risk. Like in theory, some GFM dev could mess with that smart contract
or something. Would they? I don't think so. But I don't know. I like to look out for your safety. So
it's just a very real conversation.
You know what I mean?
Like I'm not, I'm not trying to sit up here and pretend I have the answer.
Is there a way to get it,
get a different contract or get it off of that to where we could still
somehow do the staking and then it's not tied in with,
with the other platform? I don't know.
I'm not a dev,
so I don't really know all about this stuff.
But I don't know if it's possible or not.
I talked to him.
I was like, look, so it's immutable
because I don't know.
We hear that word and we all get,
like, I'm not that technical.
So I said, so it's immutable, right?
And he told me the truth.
And he told me none of the major protocols have truly immutable contracts because they sometimes need to make changes so
somebody on here who wants to come on the stage who might be more technical than me is welcome to
come up and talk about that if you want but that's what that's what work prob told me he said they
don't these big big protocols like i don't know i't even know what they all are. But they tend to not make their contracts completely locked
or immutable or unchangeable.
Because sometimes times change,
and you do have to make changes for good reasons.
So there's always a human.
And like you said, Meg, that's probably why these giant projects
that feel so safe still sometimes wrong.
Like, somebody always has the ability.
They have the keys, you know?
That makes me nervous about that.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I probably personally won't stake my thing, but I think, you know,
anybody could.
So I think it's a personal opinion.
I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know.
I know what you mean.
And I'm probably leaning that way myself.
But then like any other project technically has the same fear, right?
Technically, like, you know, I don't want to mention names, right?
But like any protocol any of you use, like we still have to always recognize that these things are fallible.
Like that's that's
the risk reward equation here too right like we come to this space because we know we can make a
lot of money or we can lose a lot um but i guess to be fair like we do know gfm has had its share
of challenges so it might not be the most like reputable staking protocol right now
so yeah just only for that reason Probably
And still, I mean, even protocols that are solid
I still don't stake
Like, I don't have all my Ethereum staked
I have about half of it staked
And the rest, I don't even have staked
So that's because that's how
Because you just know
I don't know
I mean, I've been playing it a little more, a little more safe.
I used to be like, oh, let me just stake everything.
I don't have all my stable coins staked.
I have, and the ones I do have staked, I have them in multiple protocols.
In case, in case something happens to one, I try to diversify.
I'm with you on that.
I thought you meant you don't have any of your Ethereum staked.
Oh, no, no, no.
I have about half of it staked, but half of it I don't have staked.
All right.
Well, you're going to teach us all where to stake our Ethereum for maximum rewards without getting rubbed someday.
All right.
Guys, so I'm super excited.
Like, I feel like Meg is this person that has, like, so much knowledge that people don't
understand.
And you're all going to realize that this person who you thought was, like, a pretty
girl on the internet actually knows, like, tons of shit.
Sorry, Meg.
But, like, that's how I feel about you.
It's going to be cool.
No, really.
If you want to do like an educational session
you do your streams anyway so guys just follow
Meg and like you know go to our streams if you want
education on protocols and stuff like that
we now have we're now lucky enough to have
Meg as an Alpha Scout so Meg like
that is something I've always thought about like we want
to you know we want to help
want soon to help you and you to help soon
at the same time and you're just an example because Aria couldn't make it today and snaps.
I don't know if he's going to make it today.
So we have three alpha scouts, Meg's one of them.
She's the only one who could actually make it to the space.
And this is kind of on me.
I scheduled the space last minute because I just felt like people needed to,
to get together and whatnot.
But, you know,
the balance of like giving you guys all a platform and exposure,
but also having soon get exposure through all of you and vice versa. I think it's good. I don't
think it's like overthinking and worry about it. I just think about it sometimes, if you know what
I mean. I think that I think it's really good. And especially, I feel like it's even having me,
I guess you would say double check projects that I might not have double checked for myself before.
I mean, I will research them, but if I feel like I am, because I would rather lose my, I guess I'd rather lose my own money
than recommend something to somebody else and then they lose money, if that makes sense.
So I think this is good for me because I'm like quadruple checking all these projects.
Whereas before, if it's just my money, I might not be as as you know um like on it as far as just making sure everything
is looking looking good it's a really funny point you make but i totally get it like so for example
there are some groups i'm in like trading groups and stuff and i will buy tokens that i won't tell
them about like i have to feel really good about it.
Then I'll go to a trading group and be like, hey, guys, check this ticker out.
But I won't do that.
But I'll still buy it sometimes.
I'm taking too much of a risk to tell my friends or tell anybody about it.
But then sometimes I'm like, this one is good enough for me to tell people about it.
So you're right.
You're going to like, when it's something you have to recommend for soon, it's going to be like, okay, am I really sure? And that explains why you were kind of nervous, to be honest. In our last call, you're like, JD, I've got this list five projects a week and you only have one or whatever
because you genuinely vetted it. And like vetting it takes time. And that's what we're actually here
to solve, to save people time. Like everybody in crypto has too many things to worry about.
You open CT, it's a freaking nightmare. Like every time I open X for a real reason,
I find myself like 30 minutes later in
some rabbit hole. And I'm like, wait, I was supposed to get that thing done in this 30 minutes.
And X does that to you. So I'm sure it does it to a lot of us. So on purpose, that's their mission.
So what the Alpha Scouts do and what Soon does is cut through all that noise and just give you like
a simple place to go for some projects that
you should pay attention to on X and not feel like, oh man, I'm overwhelmed. It's 50 things
that I might want to research. Just, it gives people like a way to focus on a group of projects
that are kind of trusted. And I'll give you a parallel. When I open coinbase and i see a brand new listing in coinbase i immediately think
this is a legitimate project i could be wrong right but usually when coinbase has listed something
it's like gotten to a point where it's probably not like some early stage low market cap rug right
so going there and seeing that doesn't mean i'm going to buy it. But I almost always like think about those new tickers or check them out a little bit just because, hey, it was Coinbase listed.
And so for me, soon should be kind of like that.
Look, I'm not pretending we're Coinbase because we're bigger and better.
say, you know, we're kind of like that. We sort of serve that function of like being the place
that you can go for projects that, hey, maybe they're worth more of a look than the random
one on my timeline right now. And that can save people a lot of time because they don't have to
worry about vetting everything as closely. Eventually, when they have success investing
in some of the Zoom projects, they're going to realize that their hit rate is actually better
because they found projects with Zoom. And the projects they find here will be the ones that are probably
going to be better off. And that's true. And it's true because, Meg, you're going to be super
careful with them. Snaps is, Aria is, and the rest of our Alpha Scout team will. So really excited.
Just that paranoia of not wanting to recommend something that's not good. That alone should make our alpha better than the rest of what you see in your feed.
So anyway, guys, really happy you all came today.
If anyone has anything else to add or ask, please do.
Otherwise, I'll tell you right now, guys, this chart has been just nothing but climbing.
So if you're waiting for entries, I don't know if you'll get them.
It doesn't mean you won't.
But I don't know, man.
I posted yesterday about how I kind of was glad somebody sold.
And it wasn't like a joke.
It really was.
I opened the chart and I saw somebody sell.
And I look back and I realized they were like an old holder that just sold out.
And it wasn't like a giant bag.
So it didn't really move the needle one way or another.
But I was so happy.
I'm like, we got rid of a person who's just holding a bag and doing nothing.
You know, we want people who are holding bags and paying attention to the project.
So I get it.
I appreciate people who buy and support the chart and don't get active.
Trust me, I do.
I hold bags in other
projects that I'm not super active in. And I don't blame myself and I don't blame anyone for
holding soon and not being active. But when I see an older person that bails, I'm like, you know
what? That's a person that just wasn't paying attention, doesn't see division. That's okay.
We want to replace them with people who love it. And I know that sometimes a dip is when you bring those people in.
And technically, I could sell the giveaway wallet.
I've thought about that.
Create a bit of a dip.
I could start to sell some of the dev wallet.
I've got my own wallet that I could start to sell.
I'm okay with that.
I'm telling you openly because it's one way to create entries for people.
But other than that, I don't see it happening to us.
And we're not even, like, bringing in tons of volume.
And we're not even that loud on the timeline.
And honestly, our raids aren't even getting smashed quick enough.
So that just tells me this project has incredible potential.
Once we add a little more activity when we do this next launch, it's really go time.
So load your bags.
And my ask for you guys is just be active in the Telegram as much as you can.
Put your notice on for soon.
Help us spread the word.
We're lucky to have Meg.
We're lucky to have the rest of the AlphaScout team.
We need more.
If you want to help the project, if you want an allocation,
and you're going to be interested in searching for alpha in a crypto category, let me know.
If you feel like you could be the voice of Benjamin because you just love being on stage
and you have fun up here with people, let me know. Those jobs are available for people.
And I'm excited to bring you on. So welcome to those who just joined. We're going to wrap the
space. Unless anyone has questions, request the mic, come on up. Meg, any closing remarks or thoughts?
Just I'm excited about soon and excited to be a part of the project. And I cannot wait to
find more alpha and share with everyone.
Amazing. Happy to have you here. Sam, it's always really nice to have you on stage,
but I know it's late for you there and it's like kids to bed and all that fun stuff. So
we won't be graced with our British compadre, but we have a new routine that some of you might not
have seen yet, which is we're in spaces.
And I'm a horrible multitasker. So anytime I have to do something in the background,
I can't be engaging on the stage. I say, Sam, say bullish things. And then he just does this
really polished, like British thing where he says bullish things about the project. And
he talks about how JD is the best dev ever and stuff. It's awesome. But he's not here to do that today.
We'll get you next time soon.
Anyway, thank you all for coming.
For those who just joined, appreciate you.
Space is recorded if you want to go back and listen.
Bottom line is, here's what we're doing next.
I'll quickly read it out and then we break.
We're going to do some coded posts.
These coded posts would be stuff
like this. Imagine a coded post would be like me just randomly posting this. Ever wonder when the
realist builders on chain will get into the spotlight? It's coming. When? Soon. Or tired of empty promises and incomplete roadmaps? Me too. Let's go find
those who deliver. When? Soon. Right? So things like that. So I welcome you all to do this stuff.
I'll start doing it. Hopefully you guys start to like catch on and do more of this stuff.
And then you build up this sort of like suspense around like you're the type of person who's
waiting for the projects. And then you're going to suddenly come like suspense around like you're the type of person who's waiting for the projects.
And then you're going to suddenly come up with the answer to this problem.
The solution is soon Alpha Scouts.
So we tee it up with these coded posts.
That's what's first.
Then after that, we've got an animation that's going to be dropped from the main account to kick off recruitment of Alpha Scouts officially.
That'll come with an application process,
a simple form people can fill out to apply to be an Alpha Scout, help show the role as
a real legitimate role, which it is, it gets paid, right? And then at the same time, we're
going to try to have our Alpha Scouts do a quote retweet. So Meg, for example, is going
to quote retweet that post and say, I'm proud to announce my role as a DeFi Alpha Scout on the Soon project.
And then she'll retweet that to her network as well as Aria and probably Snaps, assuming it's all good with him.
And Aria did just write back to me.
Apparently, there's a storm and some lightning that kicked off her internet.
So she's not here today, but we'll have her next time.
So anyway, so the Alpha Scouts
do their quote retweets.
We're going to have the Telegram active.
I'm going to buy a Dex boost.
I'll do that in my own pocket
because I just love you guys
and I love Soon
and I want to save our marketing wallet
for later.
And then we'll also do a giveaway
and we're going to give
each of the Alpha Scouts
an allocation of Soon to giveaway.
So they'll be able to do
their own creative ways, you know, some giveaways to their community to hype away. So they'll be able to do their own creative ways,
you know, some giveaways to their community to hype up soon. And that'll help get more and more
eyes on it and get more and more people interested in being Alpha Scouts and maybe get someone to be
the voice of Benjamin. And at that point, it's time to just start paying close attention to your
sector. Alpha Scouts look at their categories like they already are. They'll keep sending me their
homework like I'm a teacher and I'll keep being like, you guys are grownups, go do your shit.
Right Meg? I'm going to keep sending it. Do it. No, honestly, I'm kidding. So the Alpha Scouts
will help each other. We have an Alpha Scout group chat that is like a general chat for them
to collaborate. And then they have separate topics that they each own so so meg owns d5 for example so she can manage that and in d5 she can drop her
stuff and i can review it and it's pretty good it's actually a good setup so i'm messing with
you meg we're actually there to back each other up and i will always review your stuff and give
you feedback and we should all as alphas go to that for each other as a team that's really important
um so guys yeah i know people probably oh this is crypto whatever like this is some bullshit We should all, as Alphas, go to that for each other as a team. That's really important.
So, guys, yeah, I know people probably, oh, this is crypto, whatever.
Like, this is some bullshit.
Like, no, we're taking this very seriously.
I see this as, like, a real business.
I'm excited about it.
So, anyhow, that's what we got.
Other than that, we'll break here.
Appreciate you guys very much.
Make sure you follow Chad Sooner and Benjamin because they're extensions of our brand,
even though Chad Sooner has a disclaimer that he's not an extension of our brand, he obviously is.
Also, pay attention to Meg's streams.
Just give Meg a shout out because she's a friend in Alpha Scout and anybody in all of you right
any student community members should lean on us for help exposure whatever like we should always
back each other up as a community but I know Meg's been streaming on kick and trying to build up that
following so if you guys ever pay attention to kick streams check hers out it can be fun sometimes
we get drunk on there I've taken a few shots on those streams,
but other times it's like got alpha or just games you can play and things like that. So
it's a good time. And that's it. If you watch American football, enjoy it. If you don't,
enjoy your night. We'll wrap with our signature line. Soon is now.
