Solid fucking day all around.
I went back to work.
It was so-so.
It wasn't slow, but it wasn't busy.

had some uh some badass fucking brownies you know those like the brownies that take you back
my mom pulled out an old recipe and i oh dude i could have fat kitted all over that shit it would
it would have been fantastic um but i didn't i didn't i held back i only had two
um and even that was a lot uh the pizza was fucking fantastic and then i got home
and i i had somebody hit me up in the dms he's like dude um i want to okay yeah cool
um and i you know it was it was a good conversation. I got onboarded to SWE tonight.
Not something I was expecting to happen.

in the midst of doing a couple of trades.
You know, we had gotten to talk.
He reached out about getting a rabbit.

I'm like, what do you got for me?
So we did a little bit of wheeling
next thing i know um i got another uh another dog another yacht club in my my wallet and um
next thing i know we got now i got doonies you know i so the trades are real and what's cool is again connecting different communities um and yes i
have dunies in the world guess what they're gonna just be in my wallet i want them in your guys's
wallets too um because i think one the art is pretty cool um and they are moving up in price
quite a bit community behind them is pretty based um and talking with the guy who i did the trades
with some of you may know him he's part of the inrequables a little guy named alex i'll show
up every now and then does the thing you know um and he reached out to me about something else uh
in the about the casino that was pretty cool um and then afterwards he talked to me a little bit
about of a project that i may get to help out with afterwards.
I told him I have a bit of a thing going on right now.
You know, if anybody doesn't know now, I am doing the artwork for the Solana Duds.
I see you out there.
He is one of the founders of the project.
He was kind enough to tap me on the shoulder he's like yo
hub you want to lend me that pencil and i'm like i got you i got you let me have some fun so he's
letting me have some fun uh and uh after that um i will be working on a possible video game
um set of art which is, a little bit different,
a little out of my wheelhouse,
but I am going to be taking snapshots
and keeping track of the people
that are in my projects as well.
Because again, and I said this early on,
turns out the artist actually has a little bit of pull
with some of the other projects in the space
and the more people you know the more connections you make the more people you can get involved
and the more community building that there is overall so long story short kind of fucking
excited um you know what we you never know who you're gonna meet the connections you make here
in web three um every conversation starts off with a hey how you doing uh show up to a couple
of spaces and you know a couple of handshakes get made and next thing you know you're doing you're
you're doing everything you know um and everybody knows that i don't like to not be busy. I need to have work.
I enjoy the grind.
And I think that's important, especially in, oh, don't you give me the thumbs down.
I am constantly working.
Like whether it's my IRL job running the business or if it's my, I don't even, I don't think
that I can call this a side hustle anymore.
This has turned into a job.
You know, I have given myself title of a artist in, in web.

You know, each product that I get to do i'm refining the skills
just that much more you know and it's i'm having a lot of fun with it uh if you're not taking the

to get fucking sniped out but when i'm in the middle of a first-person shooter and i'm over
there trying to read uh chats that is that is a rough go because again i read everything out loud and it is
you should yeah my wife gets annoyed she's like are you trying to read a book right now are you
trying to read to me like i'm reading the book she's like well keep it to yourself i'm like how
am i supposed to hear it like i'm not saying the inner monologue isn't real but i don't the comprehension isn't there okay
um there's a reason why i draw and i don't write it's because i can't uh yeah i i can comprehend
visuals uh text i i i get it but again i i see it out loud. Does that make sense? I hope that makes sense. It made sense to me saying,

And yeah, it's going to be a really rough day for myself.

And I only say that because I have to be up at the butt crack of fucking dong tomorrow.
I have such a long day planned.
We are getting ready for summer season at the restaurant.
I have to go to the storage unit, break out 25 tables, build them, and then have them pressure washed and then build the outside patio deck umbrellas
and everything just to be ready for it to rain tomorrow or the the next day super convenient
i've been putting this off just so that way i like i have good solid weather ahead of me
only to find out that the day after we pressure wash which is already scheduled i can't take it
back the money's been spent um that everything is just going to be completely washed which is nice
um because chemicals don't need to be sitting on the asphalt for longer than 24 hours
which is a lie they do need to be sitting out there eating all the fucking rust sets
that have been out there um but you know i'm not going to stress out about that. I'm not. I am worried that I have to wake myself up at 6 AM in the morning to go do
manual labor until I have to put on my,
my tie and actually run a restaurant for the rest of the evening. Uh,
so it, it, it will be a long fucking day, but you know what?
It's not too often that I have to do this to myself.
And when it's done, it looks gorgeous.
I'll be honest.
One of the things that I have going for the restaurant,
other than the fact that our food's fucking top,
is the fact that we have one of the best views in town.
During parts of summer,
I will look outside the windows that is the restaurant
because 90% of my like
one wall is all windows like from end to end it is just one big fucking window
and it looks like the mountains are painted the sunset hits it the fire is going out in the fire
pit i got nice little fucking umbrellas some tables out there the guests being all just guesty i don't
know how to actually say that um i think that's a thing i don't think that's a thing but i'm gonna
make it um and it just it really is picturesque which is really cool because being able to like
stand in one spot breathe in and out and just be like i get to be here you know i don't i how many people
stand at their place of work and just be like i get to do this you know i do the same thing when
i get to do my artwork i get to do this and obviously i'm going to be sketching it like
that was just always a thing that i did. And now that I can actually put my,
I get to do this and actually earn from it.
You hear it all the time.
Do something you love and the rest will follow.
I didn't think that that was a real thing.
There's a reason why I didn't like fully go into being a professional bowler.
I enjoyed the fuck out of it.
It turns out it takes a whole lot of money to be a professional bowler
because you have to travel.
You got to pay for all your dues.
You have to pay for the sponsorship.
Like it's weird how that stuff works.
And if you're not top three in every tournament,
you are not making anything.
You're making your gas money back.
That's it.
Now, the people you meet, cool cool you get to meet some celebrities you get a like have a little
feather in your cap like that guy that guy and then you you fail in like
but it's slowly all just coming to fruition which is crazy like i'm i i feel very blessed and i i it's such a corny thing to say
yo hashtag blessed you know but i i feel very fortunate in the spot that i'm in right now i
get to go to my irl job i get to do art on the side as another job and i'm putting hours into both like it's not just a couple of
hours here and there when i get home it's it's a full fledged right my face is down my pen is on
let's sketch some stuff out and next thing i know i spent five hours wrong i i told one of my
bartenders tonight because he was like hey you're you're still gaming at all. Like, you know,
I am trying to be able to set aside one hour a night to actually take time
and enjoy a little bit of game because it, that,
that is what I did is who I was for a long time. I was the gamer, you know,
what are you doing after I'm going to spend the next eight hours gaming.
And now instead of that, I'm taking my, my, my free time and turning it out of free time.
And it is now drawing time.
There's work.
And you know what?
It, it, it's all paying off, which is crazy to think about being able to actually succeed
in the tasks that you set forth on yourself you know being able to
set a goal a tangible goal at that it's just crazy to think about like a year ago actually
i want to say a little over a year ago i had started drawing the pups like i had done sketch
work for them it was i i like this but I don't like that
the very first puff that I drew was absolutely you know what hold on I might I'm pretty sure
I shared this once on a very early space um and it was not it was not it i there was zero shading to it it was all like just sketch line work um but it was
a template and that template is what i used to build well the character that i'm currently
wearing the character that pops wearing joe mama like they they all kind of came together
in a nice little synchronicity of what it should have been
uh it i holy shit how many photos do you fucking need bro i swear if you aren't cleaning out your
phone for photos things that you just randomly decide oh i need to say you don't you don't when
when are you ever going to go in and i felt i think that and hurt this and here is the very first draft okay um
when are you ever going to go look at those photos from 2019 of your dog just sitting there
like not not doing anything cute just being there because you
wanted to take a snapshot for no random reason just to say that you did you know it it is just
so much clutter on everything that you're doing out here it is crazy um all right i'm gonna post I'm going to post the very first photo of the pups that I did.

this was the first sketch period of space boom uh judge me away that's fine um
it is it is really rough it is really rough uh at the time i was looking at a lot of uh
butes and uh d gods at the time so i was getting a good basis for like what's that side profile
gonna look like how's how's it gonna fit on the paper and then as i went oh my god dope that's
right so i originally tried to do this on solana couldn't figure it out and then i figured out how I think I minted every single one. Nobody else did it. I did this when I had like maybe 25, 50 followers on X.
This is before I found the dojos.

and then I learned a little bit of art techniques.
It's one thing to come up with the characters, another one to make it really pop and shine.
And I think when I finally found the groove to them is when they really started coming to life.
One of my absolute favorites is this guy right here
and it's because i was wearing this hoodie like not the good boy ink but i like i was wearing the
hat i was wearing the shades um i had my ear like my diamonds going and yeah i was feeling myself when i do when i did
this and this was one of those custom jobs where i put it together myself i didn't
like generate it through the nft generator instead it was one of those all right this is how i'm
feeling this is who i am this is my pfp i'm pretty sure I rocked this pfp when I first came into like the pox uh tgs and stuff like that I'm like yeah who's that that
that's pop um oh that makes sense he's wearing a dog uh and yeah now it is what it is and since
then it's been uh the big neighbors and it's been uh uh, the, the lucky Dow and then the rockers.
I I'm getting to enjoy myself space so much more just by, you know, taking the first steps on each one of them and the, what I'm doing with the, the, uh, the,
uh, Solana dead, it started off as a quick, and then I had to refine it and make it better.
And what is going to represent this character the best?
And taking criticism or little fixes here and there from the guys who I'm representing has been very important as well.
as well because if i'm not what are we doing like you got to listen to people that you're working

what the outside feels like. What know the basis for like trying to get things
in place how they should uh after that it's actually making things look good which is
sometimes harder than you might think because i i enjoy the the sketch process and then you go
in to fill in the line you're like oh that line's not
connected this one's not connected i need to redraw all of this so you uh do your your onion
layer and fade the stuff out and color it in you're like i hate those color palettes
but oddly enough one of the weirdest things about all of like NFT work period or artwork in general is finding a proper color palette, something that works well with what you're doing.
One of the weirdest things that I had with the first iteration of the pups is getting a little too weird with it.
And NFTs are weird like i've seen some weird art
some cool fucking weird um but not everything is a bank not everything looks as though yes that's
supposed to be there and that's one of the things that when you look at some of the things that I do, it's because it should feel natural.
If I'm doing a hoodie, what asset is going to look the worst with that hoodie?
What is going to look the best with that hoodie?
And then when you start finding the right color palettes for a lot of this stuff it should all feel as a cohesive piece some of it may look wow okay that's a little weird
but if it fits then it just says yes this is supposed to be this way
and i think for the pups being my first nft collection i'm there is only one thing in the entire collection
that i feel doesn't just bang and i'm not even gonna say what that is because for the most part
99 of it i'm fucking stoked i think they turned out fantastic. Little Rockers, I'm right there with the lucky Dow. I don't think I could have. I, that was easily one of my favorite pieces that
I got to work on. Um, I got to have full creative like sets. I didn't tell him what I was doing with

and yeah it's ah it's such a weird thing to have to go through because if you do it
too much of the same colors it looks muddy it just blends in together it just doesn't.

dog yacht club did very well it's color palettes and how things are supposed to fit together.
