You know, I usually stay up till midnight, but, you know, like, this year I was really struggling.
So, I stayed, I pretty much stayed indoors.
I actually, for the first time in my life, I don't know why we decided to go play cricket
for our New Year's Eve, you know, like, thing that we did, like, before, you know, there
was, like, this cricket batting cage that came, like, to our town, and so we were like,
oh, this is really random.
Let's play it.
I've never played cricket before in my life, and I haven't played baseball in COD forever
for, God, nearly a decade, probably.
So, I came in there with very low expectations.
I hit five Sixers, which, for those of you that have never played cricket, a Sixer is the
highest points that you can get.
So, I was pretty, I was pretty good at it, but everybody else on my, you know, in my party
was not as good as me.
So, you know, I don't know if you've ever, like, been good at something, and then all
the people around you are really bad at it, and then you're like, you know, you don't
want to gloat, but you little, you kind of do.
So, you're like, yeah, fuck you.
But also, like, sorry, you know, like, I can teach you how to play.
I don't know.
It's one of those ridiculous things.
But, yeah, so that was my New Year's Eve.
Also, you know, I feel like everybody and their mother did this, but got some charcuterie.
That was my food of choice, because I'm obsessed with it.
My mom got me a new charcuterie board for Christmas.
One of those cheesy ones that have the married couple's name in their wedding year, which
I love, because I'm very basic like that.
So, yeah, that was my New Year's Eve.

We're going to have to talk about the cricket thing real quick.
Like, first of all, what?
Second of all, what again?
Okay, so everyone's always like, oh, cricket's like the most popular sport in the world, and
like all this stuff.
And I'm like, I've literally never even seen it on TV before.
Obviously, I guess it is, like according to like how many people watch it.
But, yeah, that always throws me off.
I've always wanted to play, because like I played baseball like my whole life, and I
thought I think it'd be fun.
Um, but, so like, does it, is it like, you know how like when you go to a baseball batting
cage, like there's like a pitching machine for it?
Is it?
It's very similar.
Like, very, very similar.
So, basically, when you go in there, it's very same concept as baseball with a batting
cage.
Um, you go in there, and you have like several different options for like the paddles you
can use to bat with, basically.
So, I chose like a mid-size, because I'm pretty weak, so, or else like I would have
chose like bigger ones.
Um, and so, there's like different levels that you can have them pitch to you.
So, um, what they do when they pitch, usually there's like a bounce.
So, that throws a lot of people off, because in baseball it's just a pitch, and you hit it.
Um, with cricket, there's like a little bit of a bounce.
So, you gotta time the bounce, and then hit it.
Um, and then there's different spots that you hit.
So, in baseball, you can just hit it.
Oops, somebody called me.
Sorry.
Um, yeah.
So, with baseball, you can just hit it, and there's no specific like points.
But in cricket, you have different points.
So, like in some areas, you know, you get three points.
In some, you get four.
Or in some, you get like the highest ones that you can get is Sixers.
So, yeah, it's like the highest point of, you know, whatever.
So, that's kind of like the main difference, or at least the way I understand it.

It's, it does look really fun.
I was always the guy who chased like the really low, like pitches.
Like if someone threw me a curveball in the dirt, I was swinging almost every time.
So, like, I feel like I'm, I was made for cricket.
Like, bounce that ball.
I'm going to try and hit it.
So, I do want to give that a shot.
I had no idea that was even like coming over here.
So, I live, like, I literally live within 100 feet of like a baseball batting cage.
So, I'm going to have to put in a request for like one lane.

You just got to really get used to the bounce.

I just like have fun in there.
Um, I always feel bad because most people are just like swinging for their life and just like not hitting anything.

But yeah, I'm, I'm honestly, dude, I'm so tired.
Like, I went out both nights.
I went to this rave called Forever Midnight, um, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which is like, I didn't even know they did stuff there.
Um, and it was fucking amazing.
Like, it was so fun.
Um, it was such a good time.
Like, we had like a nice little squad of like, probably like 20 people.
And it was, it was a really good time.
Like, saw like Fisher, Green Velvet, um, Solomon.
Yeah, it was, it was Eric Pryde's.
Like, it was crazy.
It was, uh, it was nutty bananas for sure.
Um, but, but when that happens, like I ended up going out way later than I'm used to.
And since I've been back from, from Europe, like I've been pretty much like a 65-year-old man, it feels like.
Um, so I had to go out until like 3 a.m. on Saturday.
And then ran it back again and even later for New Year's Eve day.
Um, so yeah, that was interesting.
I think, I think I ended up getting home at like 5.15 a.m. the next day.
Oh, that makes me feel so boring, dude.
Like, I think once you get married, um, you're surrounded by other married friends.
And you just like, you just like become those people that don't stay out past one and then go to sleep early.
And, you know, that, that's where my life is right now.
The thing is, is I thought that would happen.
So like the last relationship I had, I thought that would happen.
But she was crazier than me.
And so we would go out until like 6 or 7 a.m.
And then she would never want to leave the afters.
And I was like, dude, we have to go.
Like, it's going to shut down.
Dude, I swear, the only time that happened, like the 1 a.m. thing, it didn't happen until I got married.
I swear, like me and him used to stay up until 7 a.m. sometimes.
Like, like we would be, you know, now, it's so crazy.
I don't know what it is.
Maybe it's like a mental thing.
Honestly, maybe, yeah, or maybe like something happens in the universe.
Like once you, once you do that, it's just like, boom, you have to go to sleep like way earlier or something.
It's like, it's like a thing.
Like my dad said before I got married, he said, you know, life is going to change in so many ways for you.
And when you get married and you're not even going to know until it happens.
And I'm like, yeah, right.
You know, it's only going to change like a piece of paper.
Or, but it really, like everything changes so weird.
It's like the weirdest thing.
And I can't even explain it to you.
It's just small things.

Right now, I haven't really been making a lot of plays.
Like, yesterday was a claim for something called less fees in gas.
The ticker is LFG, which is a great ticker, honestly.
And it's on the Solana blockchain.
And basically, what you do to claim it is you go on their website, and you can claim how much, like, basically the tokens that equivalent to how much you lost in gas fees when you were on Ethereum.
So for me, I found out, well, I kind of knew this already, but I found out officially that I spent over $50,000 in Ethereum gas fees.
It just, you know, makes you feel great about the decisions that I made.
You know, I thought I was one of the people that paid the least amount of gas because I timed it out pretty right.
But that's so not true.
I don't know.
I'm feeling pretty bad about that right now.
So checked my allocation.
It's not worth very much right now, but I onboarded a lot of ETH users to Solana, so that was really good.

I'm just going to buy, you know, a couple hundred of it.
You know, no big deal or whatever.
And then years later, I see that I'm, like, doing very well on it.
And I'm like, oh, my God.
Like, $200 became thousands of dollars.
Like, and, you know, now I'm like, damn.

I feel like every day I wake up and no matter how late I feel to an opportunity, there's always an opportunity to make money.
And that is bull market fucking vibes, dude.
Like, that's how it was.
And I feel like that's how it's becoming again.
And, man, I am just curious to see what will lead it.
Because usually Bitcoin will lead a bull market.
But honestly, a little part of me, maybe I'm, like, a little crazy for thinking this.
But part of me wonders if Solana isn't going to be the one that leads it.
Either Solana or Ethereum.
But, you know, could even be a sneaker with the ordinals leading it.
So, you know, like, instead of just the Bitcoin crypto coin, just, like, Bitcoin ordinals.
Because ordinals are having a really good moment right now.

I wasn't very bullish on ordinals for a while.
They just kind of felt like they died out for a while.
And there wasn't much interest.
And now it's vamped up.
And it changed my perspective.

It's just there's so many new things that are happening.
Because back in the day, 2021, even though, obviously, Solana was still around.
And there was NFTs and all that.
I feel like it was less, like, maybe in my wheelhouse.
So, like, I feel like I'm just seeing all these NFTs from all these different blockchains do really well.
There's new blockchains I never heard of.
I never heard of Say.
I still, I don't have any Say.
Which I feel really, really behind.
So, if somebody wants to recommend some good collections, you know, that would be fantastic.
But, yeah, I'm feeling very euphoric right now.
Yeah, the vibes are high.
The vibes are definitely high.

So, I was still, like, learning.
I was kind of erratic.
I had no idea what I was doing.
I was mainly focusing on shitposting.
Last, 2022 was, like, a year that I spent, like, really kind of learning more, making content for the first time.
You know, at the end of the year and starting to realize a lot of different things about people, myself, 2023, I did a shit ton of content.
I made some partnerships, did some pretty notable things, like, on a personal level.
And now, this year, I feel like I'm fully prepared for everything.
Like, I feel like I'm hitting on all levels.
And that's what I'm so excited about.
