So we've just jumped in here to talk about what Texas HempStock is.
If you have not heard about it, how you can get involved with it.
And I was really wanting to get a story of from mad dabber of
why did he even start it but uh that might pose to be difficult with him not being able to jump
up here so dabber if you can hear me because i still see you in here but that doesn't mean anything
uh jump out jump back in you might have to update x sometimes it's an
issue with that and i'll just chit and chat and talk about texas hemp stock while we wait for
that to come through so but i will do this i go grab. Actually, this phone will get less interruptions.

What are we doing with the Texas Hempstock thing?

What the hell does that mean?

So welcome, everybody.
I'm Mad Dabber 710, activist, musician, artist,
and founder and CEO of Texas Hempstock.
The reason the LK is capitalized at the end of Hempstock is in honor of Larry Kirk.
He was one of my mentors, and he was on the original core staff of Portland Hempstock.
He passed away in 2015, unfortunately, he lost his battle to cancer. We actually used cannabis oil and Rick Simpson oil to stop the tumor. He had a brain tumor. He had lung cancer
that spread to his spine and then spread to his brain. But through the uh cannabis oil we uh he actually killed the brain tumor uh when he had a
cat scan it showed the brain tumor was completely gone but uh we couldn't stop the tumor in his
spine and that's what ended up taking him away from us but he's uh he was a very big part of
the movement up in oregon and he was also a co-founder of the movement up in Oregon.
And he was also a co-founder of the Cannabis Common Sense Tour.
So we toured all over the country,
spread an education awareness about cannabis and hemp.
And yeah, started that in 2014 alongside of Larry Kirk.
And yeah, so that's a little bit of the backstory of why we have the LK capitalized
and why we have the Larry Kirk stage as well.
Myself, I joined the Hempstock family in 2011.
I was brought in as a musician.
So I actually played September 11th, 2011 was my first time to play at Portland Hempstock.
And then a few months later, I was attacked by the police November 13th.
I was attacked by the police at Occupy Portland and left me in a wheelchair for over three years.
And so for the next three years, I performed at Hempstock from a wheelchair and used cannabis and massage
therapy to get out of a wheelchair.
And I've been pushing for the plant ever since.
And I had the honor of being on core staff at Portland Hempstock 2013, 14, and 15.
Moved away from Portland in 2015 and been uh, been moving around.
Now I'm back in Texas where I'm originally from, and, uh, we have a big fight going on
down here in Texas.
So, uh, hemp stock was very effective in, uh, bringing people together and making change
in Oregon.
So I reached out and, uh, got the permission to use the name so we could throw Texas hemp stock down here
because the fight is here in Texas.
And I truly believe that if we can end, if we can end prohibition in Texas, the rest
of this, the rest of the country will follow.
And that's why it's such a big deal.
That's why it's such a big deal that's why it's such a big fight and I am honored to be
carrying on the legacy and to be pushing this movement and helping bring everybody together
that's really what I want to do is I want to bring the masses together and educate people
so we can destigmatize the plant and bring about positive change.
That's a little bit in a nutshell.

since you are one,
can you give us a sneak peek of the lineup?

I mean,
is there like anybody worth coming and seeing
it's just you know any anybody's welcome how's it work we got going so we have three stages of music
and um we have an incredible lineup of artists uh from multiple grammy winners uh multiple platinum
artists artists from all over the country we're bringing bringing up members of P-Punk and Motown
from Moruga Cosmic Boogie coming down
from Michigan.
We have Sakura coming all
the way from California.
Richie Shakenegin coming from
New York. All members
of the P-Punk All-Star family and
played with Baba Adatunji
Sakura plays with Nikki Hart and the Grateful played with Baba Adotunji and Sakura
plays with Nikki Hart in The Grateful
Dead as well.
So then on the hip-hop
side, you know, we've got Frank Nitti,
Young Gritty,
out of LA, out of the West Coast,
and then we have
Yoshi out of Atlanta.
I'll be performing
as Mad Dabber 710.
I'll also be performing
my... I have an 8-year-old
prodigy daughter who is a
award-winning harmonica
player. This is
a family-friendly event, so we'll be playing
as Justin James Bridges and Friends with
Collie Rose KB.
Give her the opportunity
to play out in front of
more people. She's already headlined multiple big events.
She's been on stage with Martha Reeves and a bunch of other things.
So looking forward to that.
She has a record deal also with media stream LLC under the P funk all-star
family. So she has some, she's a DJ as well as a harmonica player.
So a lot of fun things coming with that
um we have artists we have a lot of artists coming from hill country we have some artists
coming i'm uh there are multiple artists i was at south by southwest uh so we picked up a bunch
of artists from south by that were featured artists at south by that were official artists
down there they're going to now be coming out and performing people from all over the country there's a lot of artists that want to be involved um that are not able to make it out
i see that we also have uh pony boy los meruanos uh will be out there performing as well and they
uh they've played at every hemp stock you know that there, uh, along with a real one. We'll also be coming out as well.
I've been talking with busy B so,
we can get a couple more people to come out.
Busy B starski has been talking about coming out as well.
we have sumo from swisher house and big red DJ,
big red from swisher house as well.
Both of them coming up.
Yeah, we've got
a lot of big range
in artists. The
San Marcos Music Award
winning Best Country and
Best New Artist, Loose Screws
and Rusty Hearts
will be performing as well.
Yeah, multiple
San Marcos Music award winners have actually
signed up for the list we've got some local rock bands coming out of austin some hip-hop groups
coming out of austin groups coming out of dallas and uh yeah a lot of people a lot of people
interested in coming out and performing there's already an amazing lineup um plus we're getting artists
are reaching out every day i'm getting calls from artists every day so we might have some more
special appearances and special guests popping in as well um but as of right now i believe we're like
with that that reach out that gives me the uh the thing do you guys jump in if you're wanting to
speak then sponsor be a musician the artist is
filling up fast but there is still spots right uh he did say we have three stages that's running
from noon till 10 p.m we have if you're in the austin or the san marcus area we have shuttles
that'll be going to it and froze so you can get a shuttle pass and we'll have those pickup drop-off locations and times here uh
announced very soon and yeah there's also so many others from san antonio and houston and
right really components of all all of that it's real fun so if you get there get there it's a
free event bring your family there's parking costs if you want to camp stay out be prepped
because there's an after midnight party as well so we'll be kicking that off at midnight
run until at least 4 20 and uh yeah we're doing that two days in a row uh we didn't get into
the crazy glass artists uh but i'm gonna let you chat on that here in a second of of what you can
we have of our artistic demonstrations uh be it glass or hemp
involved and then i'm going to shoot some invites down to uh a couple of the builders we have in the
house so we can hear about uh how's it been building their anticipation is of this yeah
there's so much there's a scavenger hunt right so uh but yeah you talk about the glass i'll shoot
some invites out and uh pull some people up
to talk about what we've been building on the digital side absolutely yeah i cannot just first
of all thank you so much to all our incredible builders that are out there that are in here in
this meeting and every y'all are amazing and the and the reactions that we are getting to the
amazing work y'all are doing is really putting it over to the top.
So thank you, all of the builders that are doing things for us.
It's incredible to see what y'all are able to do.
And I am so honored to be working with y'all.
It's really great to see people that are able to do some of the ideas that I have in my head.
But I will get into the glassblowing before we dive into the digital realm uh as far as the glass blowing we have i believe
it's 17 glass artists uh being presented uh by stony chicken he brought him brought everybody together uh but featuring uh salt salt glass and lace face glass and uh king
leo and it's just the list goes on and on and on it's a it's an incredible two days of amazing
glass blowing demos um so yeah they're just these guys guys and girls, these men, women, these people are incredible
artists.
They just have, I mean, when you see some of the functional art they make, it's just
breathtaking.
You know, I'm a huge art fan.
I love glass, especially glass.
I love all the different sculptures and different styles that they do.
But it's amazing what we're going to have. i believe stony said there's 17 stony chicken said
there's 17 different uh glass artists being involved so it's uh and we're gonna have a
little glass area so you'll be able to meet the artists and be able to go up and you know if you
like their artwork you'll be able to purchase their artwork there right there. They'll have a vending and,
or have a whole glass area set up.
So I'm really,
really looking forward to the glass demos.
But yeah,
I believe they're doing two hours each,
each artist.
That's phenomenal. And I can't wait to experience it myself because i haven't i've
seen their art i haven't seen it in action so um definitely going to be on that and those that
can't make it we will be going live and sharing that as much as possible in multiple locations and also streamed in the
metaverse whatever that may mean to you but in it we've got uh we've got human that came up here
human how are you good afternoon how's everybody doing
i'm pretty lifted over here man doing good
working hard at it um how is uh how are you doing and can you talk on you know what you've been up to
and uh what you're looking forward to um so what i'm involved in is i've been in 3D and augmented reality for about seven or eight years.
And I'm bringing high fidelity assets and kind of merging technology with hemp.
And we're kind of incentivizing some of the sponsors and we're giving new fun ways for sponsors to interact with not just the customers, but the people that are there and that are interested.
And Stony Chicken does a lot and everyone's interacting on Instagram.
But when you're at a live event, people don't want to be sending messages.
People don't want to be sending messages.
And this is kind of a fun way that people can interact and see something and take pictures or have their picture taken with some of these.
And the artwork in some of these logos that we're working with is amazing to begin with.
So with the hemp sponsors that we've been working with so far, they've got these incredible logos and we're bringing them to life.
And we're putting them on scene
so that people can interact with them and have fun.
Oh, absolutely.
And it's going to be fun.
If you guys haven't seen some of these uh activations and animations that
have been created uh by human and lm down there and hex plays with toys you got altered alley uh

that she's going to be showcasing and uh i'm not sure if altered alley has showcased anything but
he's been a part of the ar scene for years and he's got some fantastic work um that everyone should go and
follow these guys and see what they're up to

our um we have our our uh all of our logos have been ar activated as well guys so anytime you see

reality scavenger hunt and uh the aspects of all that going on and being people being able to, you know, we also have our friend 10 will be, he's teamed up with, I think it's called 2B3D.
And they do work with veterans using VR to help mental health.
so for some of the veterans that can't visit
and can't be here
they will be able to
experience
hemp stock
from the stage
from the musician's
perspective
and they'll be able to visit
in VR and
those veterans will be able to
be able to come to the event and experience from being on
stage. So that's another special thing we're going to be offering as well. But they've been
doing a lot of veterans mental health using VR. And so it's just, it's really amazing all this,
we're bringing, you know, the old technology and the new stuff together to to be able to bridge the gap
you know bridge the generation gap educate people you know bring the education to the masses
casper i'm so happy to see that you're involved man i miss you it's been a long time
and i am so excited that you were coming uh to hemp stock and that you're our keynote speaker
on sunday i uh can't even tell you how happy i was to hear that that and for those that don't know
casper is uh time for hemp he's uh so if you aren't following that account
