they could even plant was like two million in that location.
So it's like, what do you mean?
Like we're doing hundreds of millions here.
So that's why they haven't done a Gittes world record there.
However, for the first time in the history of this thing in years, actually, many years
have gone by since they closed that category. And the reason they closed it, by the way, was because of verification
challenges. For the first time, they are reopening, or at least considering reopening, the category.
And the only reason they are considering to reopen the category is because of what TreeGens has been
innovating around proof of tree, right? It's because of verification challenges to be able to scalably and reliably track all the trees to the rigor and the standards
of Guinness World Records, right? And that's what proof of tree can actually do because you can't
just upload something you found online. Nowadays with AI, you can make any kind of video. You have
to actually film within the application, right? We have AI counting all
the different trees. We have multiple verifiers with something at stake when they go to verify.
By the way, guys, if you maliciously verify, you can lose some of your TGN, right? There's

Hi, everyone. My name's James Harrison from Green Evolution. I like to call myself a modern
day renaissance man, a collector of skills, husband, father, distiller. I'm a chef, a
butcher, a baker, an anything maker. maker over 15 years i've been working with
aquaponics and regenerative finance systems not really regenerative finance systems regenerative
systems like permaculture and things like that so now i'm trying to weave all that together into
one living breathing project i'm building the self-sustaining regenerative village economy, starting with a micro distillery that powers everything else.
It's not just the distillery. It's going to be that's going to be the financial engine that will fund the community for the long term without needing constant donations from outside grants.
This is regenerative finance in action.
We buy the rice and sugar cane from about 30 local families around us here. And instead
of just paying bottom dollar like middlemen, we're going to pay one and a half times market value.
That's just one of the steps that we're going to be taking that helps break the poverty spiral.
Then we'll turn that raw produce into premium spirits. Not to sell here locally, but to move
into upscale bars and restaurants
in Bangkok and tourist areas
and the islands. The goal is
to bring wealth back here.

I've got a personal motto that's waste equals food because in nature, there is no such thing
as waste. It's only food for another system. The byproducts from the distillery won't get thrown
away. We use the crop waste to make biochar to rebuild the soil. We're going to be using the
byproducts to feed chickens and mealworms and black soldier
fly.
We're going to layer buffalo manure and biochar and make microbial rich compost that will
turn run through a pellet machine.
All of this gets given back to the farmers for free, replacing their chemical fertilizer
in their outputs.
Now, one of the things I've been trying to do this and raise money through
crowdsourcing, et cetera, I had some property for sale. I was trying to fund this myself,
but all of those were unfortunately unsuccessful. Now I'm opening up a 20% stake directly in the
distillery with a 50% weighted dividend for whoever wants to invest.
This way it de-risks their investment and helps give back.

It's just I've opened up this position just as I didn't exactly want to do this. I didn't want to bring in the outside finance for direct investment into the distillery because the goal behind this is the
distillery raises funds that we give back to the community project, which is a much larger in scale
in the surrounding, you know, field and area that we're going to be converting over into this
training center and refi village with tree planting, permaculture,
food forests, eco, eco tour, like lodges that people can rent out the large greenhouse that I
have in storage. I, you know, I've done some really large scale projects in the past. You know,
I've built some two, uh, 2000 square meter aquaponics greenhouses here in Thailand. Like
I'm used to doing large-scale projects. This is not
unusual for me. I've also had a distillery before. This all kind of got sidelined during COVID because
the country locked down for two years. Anyway, I didn't want to do this, but I am opening it up.
The 20% investment directly in the distillery and to de-risk for the investor, I'm giving a 50% dividend back until they get their
initial investment back. And then we'll drop that back to the 20% standard investment.
Their profits from this in the beginning, we'll put 10% is sort of mandated. This will help me
weed out investors that are just VCs and people that actually have heart we're gonna i'm gonna mandate 10 of the revenue from the distillery goes into the uh to financing the the refi village and
then as soon as the investor is paid back that will bump up to 25 of uh mandated if we can do
more than that we can but we're gonna we're gonna take that off the top to get back to the to the
distillery so if you're uh another project out there this is an rwa with rwi and if
you are a project out there that maybe you want to transition maybe you have coins you want to
invest something maybe you want to diversify your portfolio or uh for a coin we can also talk about
that and you can start bringing rwa into your project by investing in these. So you'll have like a 20% stake in the portfolio.

into promoting your own system
and that you're actually giving back

uniting 29 million tree planters. And that is just one country. We now, as a coalition,
we have 12 different countries. And by the way, in the coalition, in those 12 countries,
now includes Kenya, that's the latest addition.
But Nigeria is the African nation which has the most mangrove trees in the world.
The reason I'm so bullish on mangroves, by the way, they can be planted very efficiently.
They, you can put proper gules directly in the ground.
They germinate in the ground.
Super efficient.
But they also can sequester up to 10 times the carbon.
They help with biodiversity.
All the animals thrive around them.
So I was laser targeted on the mangrove country. So we got Nigeria in the back. We have
multiple ministers supporting this now from Nigeria. We have Brazil, which has the longest
continual stretch of mangroves, 8,000 kilometers. And we have Indonesia, which has the most mangrove
trees out of any other African nation, any nation in the world, actually. So Indonesia was actually the first country to join the coalition of COP30.
I came in there with the press badge, and I was interviewing different people and different
ministers, and I asked them about what's their legacy and what's their why, what's
motivating them.
And then I shared this case study of Ethiopia, and they were so mind-blowing by it.

So yeah, I was taking no chances.
I'm like, we're not just going to break this.
We're going to break this by so much.
It's just like no matter what, we are doing this. And uh, and yeah, we, we knocked it out of the park.
Go ahead. I'm kind of curious on, um, do you know what the, the Guinness record is for
most trees planted by one person in general, like not just a single day, but like their,
their lifespan? No, I don't think that category exists because, um, because you have to heavily involve Guinness
for every single tree that you plant.

So it's super rigorous.
Like I had to have two different verifiers, right.
Taking tally the whole time and they had to rotate shifts every four hours.
So they had to be sharp.
So I needed like a whole team of people doing this.
And one of them, they both had to be like independent witnesses.
So I could never have worked with them before.
So I had to recruit all these people fresh.
And one of them had to be a tree planting specialist.
Plus we have to film every single tree.
Plus we have to get like, you know, botanical experts to verify this method is good and we're
planting them well and they have like tons and tons of criteria and uh and so yeah to do that
for every tree over the course of your whole life is not super practical so i think there are there
are a couple people that have actually planted a shitload of trees millions yeah there's a guy
they weren't verifiable yeah one was i think
in india one maybe in in africa i can't remember exactly but i know of at least two people that
have planted a shitload of trees but yeah they weren't verifiable so they couldn't get the record
yeah yeah yeah i mean look guinness is not like the only way like we can we can also just see
okay you did that all right we can take your word for it sometimes it's still still impressive. I mean, yeah, like that guy, he planted millions of trees.
It was like a totally barren land.
And then he like just like planted, he regenerated the whole thing.
