By Monday, I just got an update from Mark Diamond.
The biggest carbon credit deal in history will be an escrow on Monday, we were told.
And they still got to make the transfer. Once it's an escrow, the heavy lifting is done.
We're meeting with multiple Brazilian banks because Mark Diamond is doing an impact investment into Tregen to get our carbon forward flywheel going.
But the banks will also help not only scale that, but what we're doing. So in Brazil, carbon forwards is not exactly
allowed. It's kind of regulated in a way where what is allowed is you can have companies or
countries in this case as well. We've already got Singapore government interested in this.
They will commit to buying
carbon credits in the future when they mature at a specific price. And they can put that in writing.
And then what we can then do with these banks is we can finance that. So it's very similar. It's
basically a carbon forward, but you're not selling it for an amount. You're getting an agreement and
then you're financing that agreement. There's an extra step there. And so that's what these Brazilian banks are helping us do such that we can ultimately
grow exponentially, right?
The RWAs, the real world assets from this carbon forward flywheel comes from selling
the future value of carbon, multiplying trees, selling the future value of that carbon, multiplying
again.
You beat this process.
And that's when our treasury really starts to grow. That's where TGN will have a lot of importance for governance, right? Because if you have a carbon credit project you want us to
impact invest in, that then becomes an opportunity, right? Maybe it's ecotourism, maybe it's beekeeping,
maybe it's crab farming, maybe it's any kind of business that depends on the mangroves for them
to thrive. I want to do microfinancing and impact investment with our treasury when it grows up.
Right. And and of course, you know, we can also do buybacks on our tree tokens.
And by the way, if you thought the 42 percent APY is juicy, you know, just just wait until we bring a billion trees on chain, you know, because 5% of all of the trees that get verified by our DAO members goes to our DAO members that are active in proof of tree.

a truck and then drive them to the site and then you dig and then you take the plastic off and you
hope the plastic doesn't fly away and all this different stuff. It's so much more efficient to plant a mangrove from the tree to the ground.
Like Nigeria has more mangrove trees than any other African nation.
Indonesia has the most mangrove trees in the world.
Brazil has the longest continual stretch of mangrove trees, 8,000 kilometers.
All three of those countries are in our coalition. So if Ethiopia, you know, you know, can't stick to
a date, we could just make it happen without them on June 5th. Like it is possible, you know,
Even if they're like, we're going to do July 31st, we could still just do June 5th.
