The same year that he did it, dozens of other people did it. Now tens of thousands of people
have. And that's an absolute game changer because once people could see what is possible,
they're so much more likely to do it. And that is what we're really pushing for here is to show
countries what is possible. And Ethiopia has proven that in a big way. We were there on the
ground pioneering the Grolympic Games, competitive planting and we're gonna be taking that to a whole
other level when um when we you know really level this thing up for the next time right it was a bit
of a learning experience the first growlympic games but now we're going to be implementing
this in a much bigger way with you know know, far more crazy games that are that are
involved in this, the tree games. And, and yeah, it's going to be it's going to be an absolute
blast. It's going to it's going to make a massive impact. But we need a movement, right? We need a
movement of people, you know, doing everything we possibly can to maximize our impact and get as
many people as possible involved, right? That is where the ambassadors come in, because we need you to onboard friends, we need you to post on social

people see it, and then those influential people end up participating and being members of our

They have the most mangrove trees out of any other country in the world. And yeah, we're going to be getting getting more and more as time goes. But so far we have 11. So 29 million people was just one country. What is 11? What are 11 countries actually capable of? You know, can we get 100 million people participating in this? Totally possible.
Absolutely possible. And that would be absolutely insane. I mean, who is uniting 100 million people?
You know, that's very, very rare. And that is a massive world changing movement. You know,
what are 100 people capable of if we all do something at the same time? It's not just a
great way to unite a country.
It's a great way to unite the world.
Right.
Like that's a significant percentage of the entire population on the planet.
You know, and so so, yeah, 100 million people is like another goal that we're trying to try to unite 100 million people to take action.
100 million people to take action. And of course, like the top down approach of getting ministers
and then getting governments and then rallying their populations is a very effective strategy
to do that. But we also need the bottom up approach, right? We also need the virality of
like, people join the movement. And then leading up to the big day, they're onboarding their friends.
And then their friends are onboarding their friends. And then if their friends are onboarding their friends, then like, then we're
really scaling, you know, like everyone just has to onboard one or two people and we're growing
exponentially, you know, if you're doing that regularly. So, all right, I'm gonna get off my

well, let's go for a billion. You know, so. So yeah, we just keep
one upping this. And, and yeah, we get there in the end. And you
know, Pat, I love that you said that you're passionate about this world, T.
I completely feel that with every fiber of my being that like this, this is something that must happen.
Because when we make it happen, the full vision of what Tree Gens is capable of, the world will be a fundamentally better place.
And that's the world that I want to live in.

was able to innovate with a cracked android phone and uplift the whole refi community. And people
like MK, who's doing his part as a regen farmer and grinding and showing up day in, day out and
making music about our movement. People like Will T, you got this epic course platform and you got
the regenucators and you came into this grow immunitary with so much energy and passion.
You've been so consistent day in day in day out for some for
years and and it's it's a beautiful thing to see and there's so many epic people in here vibes just

how do we go about planting a tree?
Do we just plant it anywhere
or do we need to go to a special location?
This is a good question.
This is a good question.
So I wouldn't say plant any tree anywhere.
You want to be planting a native tree to your area.
So you can probably ask your favorite LLM, like, hey, this is the area.
What are the native tree species?
Or you could go, so, like, depending where you are, like, you're in Perth.
So you could Google, like, nursery near me, and you'll probably find, like, a tree nursery
where you can buy the seedlings, and, like, they'll advise you on which ones to be planting where and then you can simply get the
seedlings there another thing like i mean okay then some people want to plant in their backyard
and like that could that could totally work i know some people who like everyone here eats fruit
right so so you can take the seed from the fruit, you can germinate the seed, and then you
can plant that in your backyard. Next thing you know, you've got an apple tree grown. So that
could totally work out. Or sometimes there are community gardens. So if you don't have a backyard,
you could go to a community garden. These exist in a bunch of places. Or if you're by the nursery,
you could ask, hey, where can I plant? Or you could connect with a local nonprofit. One thing that we're also partnering on is
a platform that connects all of the tree planting nonprofits, community-based organizations,
government-led planting, and the people who want to volunteer just want to plant trees.
Because they know not only what are
all the best trees to be planting where, but where can you be planting it? And if they have certain
areas where they want those trees to be planted and where you have permission to do so, then
that's a really good connection point. And so leading up to this Billiontree Day, we want to be
the hub for people to know where they can plant the everyday citizen, right? Because we're going
to be having some really influential people who are going to be mobilizing their following to plant
trees and people got to know where they can do that you know so connecting them with nonprofits
I think is a great step or sometimes if there are government-led programs they can also map
out all the different locations and then it's about just letting them know where where they
can grow to do that you still got your hand up there a bit advantage yeah that was great um
very insightful so another question um so with the nfts that you get for planting a tree is there
like a limit to how many you can get and is there a limit to how many there are in total

actually get for planting trees or do we just get one for like the total effort or something?
Yeah, no, there's no limit. So basically what we're doing is twofold. One, liquid token rewards for mangrove tree planting.
I believe there are mangroves in Perth.
And the other is retroactive rewards for planting various types of trees through NFTs.
So we're creating kind of like a marketplace.
Maybe this is something we could elaborate on actually,
because I know you're building a marketplace.
We're building an empty marketplace.
It's kind of like just like a globe interface.
So you can see where all the different tree planting are
because it captures your GPS automatically
when you're filming within the application.
So you do have to film within the proof of tree DAF.
You film before and after AI counts the trees.
If it's mangroves, the DAO verifies,
then you get a liquid token reward.
But if it's a different type of tree,
our AI is not yet trained
for all the different types of trees. So we're going to be using the video submissions to train AI.
And it's basically like you set your own price on the marketplace and we help you sell it. Like
we have a lot of, we work with a lot of brands and individuals that have been funding trees with us.
And we can say, hey, look, you can fund tree planters directly through this. It's kind of
like give direct, you know, like a lot of people want to give directly to tree planters. So you get 95% of all
of the rewards and then 5% goes to verifiers. So you could in one video put 100 trees that you
planted or you could put one tree. You should probably set a different price for that because
ultimately someone's going to want to say, okay, I want to fund 100 trees. Okay, here are these
trees. Let me fund these ones, et cetera. So yeah yeah it's totally up to you man like you can make as
many submissions as you want you can get as many nfts as you want and we help you sell that in the
platform uh the platform should be coming out in q1 uh valentine who we just brought on again
into our team he is turning proof of tree into a an iOS and Android app first and foremost. Then
he's building out this marketplace. But since we've already done a lot of the groundwork
with General Magic to build out the web application, it shouldn't be too much. And he's got a whole
solution called ETH Mobile, which kind of makes these apps really easy to bring to iOS

period. And Brazil has the longest continual stretch of mangroves. And we got all three of those countries in our coalition, you know, and mangroves are very
efficient to plant and super scalable. You don't even necessarily need nurseries. You can take the
property, go off the tree, stick it in the ground, boom, shakalaka, there you grow. So anyway,
great things to come. You guys are all super early. I know we've been building this for years,
