is somewhat utilizing their ip or most of their holders i don't know security see curious see what

we really think about the collector experience very deeply and we really think about how does it
feel to collect multiple azuki how does it feel to have an azuki that uh people would consider like
a like floor how would it how would the grails look and when we were coming up on on on releasing
the collection we each of us checked through like thousands and thousands and thousands of
combinations and iterations and we wanted to have a collection that was interesting that had like a
lot of depth um and so you know when you do see people uh paying a premium for a grail to get a
trait that they like or just to get like one single azuki combination that they like it feels really
rewarding i mean i didn't do the art so i can take the flowers and send it over to the artist but it
feels really rewarding because we put so much time um on the collection both both at the grail level and
the on the on the more common azukis and um you know it's really good when that shows through in
the way that people value those those pieces at so um yeah i mean it's something very deliberate in
the way that we structure the collector experience that as a dude who cares about that you were supposed
to show the hood like the spaces oh yeah yeah you gotta go to the spaces because it's gonna be great

the the trading groups everybody fades beans and kind of just looks at it as like ah azuki goes up and
beans will go up and that's really it um but if if you look at as at beans as like an ip play
it's kind of the perfect recipe it's you know they're they're really cute uh they're very simple
and they show a lot of emotion and they're colorful um like that's that's like minions like if you think

uh bobu proposal going on up uh so that we can get some art for all azuki and beans out there um
actually i was talking to pretzel and pretzel uh you know that the pretzel's part of the bobu council
and they're trying to figure out whether or not i even need uh to put up a proposal just because um
you know i'm not even taking anything from the treasury but uh you know a lot of you guys have a great
point that um hey beans is actually a great ip play and i'm actually using uh beans for a few of
my projects that i'm working on moving forward um and then uh i believe benny uh mentioned that hey
azuki has like top-notch art um just uh to kind of put that in perspective um i am the art director for
zen academy and uh as some of you may know uh we're working on a pfp um so like literally we're working
on that right now and so you can bet a hundred percent that we um we reference a lot of nft
projects out there and one of the main ones that we reference and that we're learning from is azuki just
because the art is top-notch um so yeah i i just wanted to put that out there i you know azuki really
has uh you know steam boy has done a great job i'm sure he's not the only artist there you know that
they have a they have a team a full team uh over at the azuki team and they just pump out top top-notch
stuff um speaking of art i do want to really quickly throw some flowers to jazz uh jazz uh college is up on
stage um earlier we uh sansa and team mentioned that hey reddit avatars um they're doing a drop
today and guess what one of the artists is jazz so yeah um i i uh thought it'd be great if we just
kind of got jazz up on stage and she could talk a little bit about uh what she's absolutely
fucking love that pixely thank you first of all um just very quickly before we go over to jazz
i love that there is no shortage of artists or in within the azuki community and then on top of
that there is not enough like literally on the point of not enough that like you reach out to an
artist and they're like um sorry i gotta put you on my waitlist uh looking about like a month two
months some motherfuckers have like a five month waitlist i'm like god damn y'all really making some
efforts go out and be like hey can you draw azuki for me like i know you don't really draw this but can
you draw it like i i just need something and some members out there like yeah sure i'll do that and
then and what i love about that is now other artists are able to get creative in their own style and
bring that into the azuki community right again you're starting to see this a lot more a lot of
cross-pollination both on community and artists alike and we love to see that love to see that if you
have a pfp you know you're gonna keep this is kind of just my motto not everyone else shares the same
motto um i if i do a commission of something i'm keeping that motherfucker like i'm keeping that
commission and if i if the only reason i would ever sell it off is if it's like a ridiculous price
that i just can't i just can't turn down but i really like that's why i've been churning out these
zizuki and beans commissions because i know these are these are like pieces i'm going to keep for a
very very long time uh that's just my motto like that's just how i look at it i'm making this come
alive because i want to keep it um anyway enough about that jazz i i i don't want to waste any time

about that like what was your process like how i we've heard about the past generation artists before
through various different artists like what would that like for you
yeah it was really uh a cool experience first off uh before i dive into it i want to say thanks so
much pixelate for the shout out i love all your gm uh tools uh with the beans and all the cool things
you're working on um so excited to see your bobo proposal um actually a fun fact uh pixelate and i
uh were djan uh flooring gas when bobo came out um like a year ago um so that's a fond memory that i
have of kind of when um yeah when i had my first introduction introduction to the azuki space i actually
um picked up a bobo because like kind of what you mentioned like i i don't use it as a psp but it was a
piece i saw myself keeping um and so i'd have an excuse to fan art with it um so i've been able to draw
uh bobo um under um yeah different just uh contests and have an excuse to kind of draw around the azuki
uh community uh with my bobo which has been really fun um but in terms of reddit yeah it's been such
a wild process i think i found out i was going to be able to be part of the gen uh sometime late last
year and so then it's been like a process of kind of we have this slack of like a hundred something
artists and we're all in there kind of like uh communicating with the reddit team but also
each other so it's been this really incredible process of kind of building like you know a product
like they are kind of wearable so you can swap out um and in kind of almost like a gen generated art
fashion um kind of the different traits on one single avatar with other avatars um so it's been
really fun kind of planning uh how different pieces will go together um just ideating kind of fun
art we want to see but also i think collaborating and like sharing ideas with each other um and just
being in a really creative space because i think there's nothing that like empowers creative
creativity more than being around fellow creators and that's something i really love about web 3 space
in general um but especially this this reddit program and the experience uh creating there um so

this afternoon um i am honestly personally just like sitting in the shop refreshing at this point
