living here on Ape Chain and being Ape Chain Maxis. Let's call it that.

I think there's going to be
some pretty interesting conversation questions
and follow-up from Garga about the news.
If you haven't been plugged in
over the past 24 hours, there is going to be
an AIP to eventually wind down the ApeCoin DAO. Obviously, ApeCoin DAO has been one of the top
topics of contention here in the space recently. Lots of people going out for what they have called
the BD Council position or positions that are opening,
not going to even call it the X special council for the 8coin DAO.
There's been lots of talks about that.
But the quick and dirty kind of what's going to be happening is Garga proposed a AIP that would eventually wind down the DAO.
Proposal is to wind it down from Greg, CEO of UGA Labs,
dissolving the ApeCorn down and transitioning all the assets and authority.
So just the very, like I said, quick and dirty.
I'd be happy to jump into that once we go around the room,
give proper introductions, GMs to everybody here.

or understand contracts
to execute certain terms.

Yeah, just some insight into the why of Albatross.
Well, I mean, art one, like picking what it is, what it represents to you guys.
But also a little bit of insight into the project upon Mint and what your plans are for it would be great.
Yeah, definitely, definitely.
Well, it's actually Sam's idea. We met through the G's community.
You know, he told me a little bit about his idea, his plan. I was planning on maybe, you know,
getting involved with something else or some other things he has a you know background in travel also had
has some history working with IRL products you know doing the NFT shirts with his wife
and that's going back that's how we also like had some other connections in the space I guess on his
end and obviously like through gm
apechain that grew and and uh what we the connections we made through um uh the here
on a chain he has his hand up so maybe he wants to tell more of how that came about
and i'm happy to continue after
sam sam yes yeah yeah uh they they finished yeah so uh i chose albatros for uh like different
things uh one of it there is no albatros character in any place as an nft and second also like albatros bird is a special bird in real life I always talk about about him
the way they fly for a long long distances and the way even they can imagine they can sleep and fly
in the same time.
So some weird stuff with albatross in real life,
we can make it like all related even to as a DGENs
in the web tree.
And the way they meet as well that's why also it's related to my own
background you can say in real life because i i like how to say that i in my real life i studied
In my real life events or in real life
activities
that's in in general as albatros bird. I love it. I love it.
Who did you guys get to do the artwork for?
It's really unique.
It's very clean.
Yeah, so there is a long story since we started.
Six or seven months ago, I started, I connected some artists and we failed for the first time.
We failed to, the art wasn't so, not good to faced a lot of problems. Then we find another artist. Uncle Mac was taking albatros before, but he was a little busy with the mining stuff and all of this. So we finally, after months, we found a new artist from Italy.
And here we go.
We did the albatros art traits.
The traits are, you can say, from different cultures
or different countries around the world.
And at the same time time the second part of traits is like a djn style
for for ape chain and stuff related to ape chain uh yeah i've seen you guys have teased some stuff
regarding traits and homage like homage to to different communities and stuff uh what are some
of the communities you guys have i think gobs the the gobs hoodie was one of them but what else do you guys have in there
so the gob is uh you are talking about the one of one uh
what is uh i i don't maybe i don't know if agent want to uh i mean i didn't know if is the red hoodie a one of one or is it is it a trait that just is a nod to the community?
I was going to ask you about one of one.

What else do you guys have in there?
I've seen a couple of the teases.

The mint date stuff, for sure, I can do. Like I mentioned, you guys are going to be minting i think this sunday right june 9th
june 9th mint date yeah
oh it's monday yeah monday perfect yeah six six nine monday beautiful uh agent you had your hand up. Go ahead. Yeah, I just wanted to mention, like, he was talking a little bit on the art side, and you highlighted that, some of the one-on-one, some of, you know, the traits.
We did give a shout-out on the traits.
Originally, the art, the first art that we had, which, funny enough, was actually featured with our collaboration with Introverse,
featured with our collaboration with Introverse.
What was like a different style,
a little bit more on the traditional side
of like, you know, highlighting countries
or cultures around the world also,
which is was like Sam's vision and we stuck to that.
But we wanted to mix like, you know,
more of like DGN vibes, like how he mentioned more,
make it more of like not only community driven,
but also like character driven project.
So we're going to blend that.
Obviously I'll help with that side on like some of the lore and,
and, and even the traits where that came out, we, we,
we brainstormed together on like how we could, you know,
give homage to, to certain collections that came before us here.
And also like not even only here,
there's actually more reveals that will probably give shout out to other stuff without leaking too much as well as like uh i know you asked who's our
artist we might have highlights from other people uh you know in this space or just to you know
without giving out too much so like i mean i would also like you know want to invite everyone on
monday we will be doing another space you know like as we have like a mint launch party and we'll be revealing a lot more exciting stuff.
I think I could probably post one one at least one more reveal today.
I mean, we're getting close to that, like, you know, the final day.
So it would be nice to like just spice things up a bit.
But yes, like it's funny how it worked.
Originally, we were just going to throw a couple ideas out there.
We wanted to do honoraries, but then the honorary list got a little long with some other ideas we got.
So we stuck to just doing almost like these shout-outs to other collections,
and then also a blend of shout-out through traits traits or even the one-on-ones that kind of like these,
not direct, but it's kind of like, yeah,
like an indirect shout out to either a person
in some cases or a collection or like OGs in the space.
So just a little blend of that.
Like you mentioned, the red hoodie is definitely a nod to Gobs and how like their success early on. So it will be like a rare trade. We do have
like, like Sam mentioned, traits that are highlighting different parts of the world
and not necessarily only where albatros go. A little shout-out to also to maybe even countries that visit us
in the GMA trade show without giving up too much away.
So, yeah, I mean, it's just been a fun way that we can mix all this stuff
with the trades.

I really like the art style on this.

gator hats that you see in these projects i think this one is by far the best one that i've seen
