It's a it's a busy, busy day on Ape Chain with all these faces and things going on yeah i'm excited to open some chests see what everybody's got you know it's i think everybody's been uh i
mean everybody's been patient but uh everybody's a little bit been a little bit antsy as well
trying to see what everybody's got and i think everybody's gonna be really pleased on on what
people pull from these you know the team has done an amazing job getting stuff for these rewards.
And I think it's really going to kick off season two very well. So, yeah.

I hate using it, but the utility behind them if what what
they're doing with it um but yeah that's another thing that went live so you guys can keep your
eyes out and and peek those uh they were like half half minted within an hour so the likelihood is
they are going to probably mint out very very soon but um let's uh as we have k-stop fun up here i

are what you do and uh the the big a-chain launch today uh please uh the mic is all yours
introduce yourself and kind of uh what the platform is my friend
yeah hey what's up guys? Thanks Tom for having me.
Yeah, today was a big day. We just launched on ApeChain.
The Payside Fund has been live for 6-7 weeks on base where we saw a good traction.
And with ApeChain we hope we can reach new heights on that,
which I'm sure we will since this community is just crazy.
This is crazy exciting and just happy to be here.
And, you know, we think K-SAT Fun will fit right in.
But, yeah, so K-SAT Fun basically is a way
to incentivize on-chain activity.
And what we start with is by incentivizing swapping all right so if you go to
if you know swapping is better just going to a DEX and trading token A for token B
and what we did is when you come to our website case.fun you you know swap tokens on A-chain
and you get rewarded for that by a case and that case uh could have nfts it could have token
rewards and it can also have uh case points for our uh token one day and yeah that's basically
the nutshell of it um i mean if you're familiar with uh you know loot boxes from video games or
you know cases from counter strike go for example where you play the game and you win these cases
and then you can open these cases for skins.
That's basically what we do, right?
So we incentivize the crypto game, if you will,
by giving you these cases for doing on-chain activities
and we started with swaps.
Yeah, it's killer.
I did open a couple of base cases.
You guys are on Agent Space last week, I believe,
and I started diving into it for sure.
With regards to the Ape Chain side of it,
you guys, I mean, it might be only me,
but right now are the cases bought via Ape
or just wait right now?
Because I don't think I can,
one, like I'm getting an on-screen for transactions.
I pinged you guys in, but also
I don't think I can buy unless I'm
Wapeing, or if I'm buying with Wape's.
Yeah, so
there is two ways
of using the platform
right now, right? There is the traditional
swap-to-win interface, which is basically
just like your traditional DEX interface, where you go and you swap Ape for peanuts or Wape for peanuts. And
if you swap enough, so that means if you hit that volume threshold for these cases, we have two
different cases with different swap volume thresholds, you have the chance of winning a
case. That's one way of doing it, right?
So if you have, if you want to say,
if you have Ape or Wape and you want to buy peanuts
and instead of going to Camelot or any other decks
that supports these tokens,
you can come to us and swap it there.
And then you get the additional chance of winning a case.
That's one way.
The other way is the multi-swap feature, which
kind of, it's a way for us to kind of just simplify the whole process and not focus so
much on the swapping itself. The swapping still happens in the background, but what we obviously
want to do is we wanted to make it as easy as possible for people to get these cases.
And so you go, multi-swap basically just lets you select the amount of case that you want
you can do up to 10 in one transaction it's just as much as the blockchain allows per transaction
and we then do all the swapping for you in the background so it's pretty it's a pretty simple
one on that one yes you're correct it only supports Wape and Peanuts right now.
But we will add the option to just do Ape.
And then we just drag the Ape to Wape for you.
And that is just because we use Camelot as the DEX
underneath.
So we're not our own DEX.
We're basically on top of these other DEXs.
We can launch on any DE decks that's out there.
And we just use their pools, right?
And the pools are denominated in WAVE and peanuts, like on the contract level.
That's why, you know, you have to do it in WAVE.
But, you know, we will automate that process. So that should be hopefully done today or tomorrow.
That's awesome.
Great.
Because I haven't gone in, I just want to make sure I have
enough to do this one live while we're, we're on here. Uh, what's the, what's the cost of opening
the specific chest? There's two tiers chest that you mentioned. Um, one is 15 ape and the other one
is 26, I believe. Uh, yeah. So, so there's a, you gotta gotta like there is a cost involved for open these cases which is
which what we call is a key and uh the key is um for the the smaller case or for the
the case with less rewards it's 10 aposd and for the the case with the higher rewards it's 20 APUSD. So what you're probably referring to is the cost for the swap itself, right?
So it's basically just, like I said, it's basically just using the underlying decks like Camelot.
And there's obviously a fee involved for the swap, right?
So that's kind of how we calculate the overall cost for open these cases.
Part of it comes from the swap fees that you pay for doing the swap,
which in return goes to the LPs.
So that's kind of the flyer that we're trying to build,
where we say we want to incentivize users for swapping,
which in return incentivizes the LP side as well.
So LPs make more fees, which in return sort of attract more piece to come in and then just kind of,
you know, boost the pool in liquidity, which is good for everybody.
And, you know, once you get that case, there is a cost associated with actually open the case,
which is which is the key that I'm talking about.
OK, perfect. There's a ticker on the top of live drops that are coming through. The newest thing that I'm seeing from the 18 side versus the,
the base side is the scratch tickets.
Can you touch on what those guys are?
Yeah.
Yeah,
sure.
So the,
the scratch part is our way of giving away these different NFC collections
that we have,
since it's very hard to,
you know,
categorize these under, under, under, you know under the categories that we have,
uncommon, common, especially.
We would have to add a lot more.
So what we did is we just bundled a couple of these
within these scratch cards.
So when you open a case, instead of getting the NFT directly,
if you would win one, you would win a scratch card.
And that scratch card is basically something that you can open as well
without any additional cost. But it's just another way of generating another randomness where you
then, well, it was then decided basically which NFT you get. So it's just another step basically
on the website. So you have to open a case, you could win a scratch card, and then you open a
scratch card and you could see, hey, this is the nft or maybe i want something else that's killer great uh and kind of i think this
is important to note too just like uh what we experienced with wheel of fate that all of these
chests whether it's the free claim or the trade chest from the multi swaps um they all live as
nfts on the chain too. That's correct?
Yes, that is correct.
Every chest is an NFT. So there could technically be a secondary market
where you can sell your cases if there's interest.
And that's something that you also see in the Web2 space,
if you will, with games like Counter-Strike.
There's huge demand for these cases
where people, they earn them and then they just trade them on the secondary markets.
You've mentioned Counter-Strike a handful of times.
Is that where you guys have kind of like, is that where the idea originally blossomed from?
Is that like you guys had this, I think it's literally cases on Counter-Strike that you can open or chests on Counter-Strike as well.
My guess is that you guys are eventually going to move
into like that eSports market with that.
Is that the plan?
Yeah, that's a good, yeah, I mean, it is.
So we are like, the whole team is heavy.
We are heavy gamers by heart. Counter-Strike is one of these games. And a lot of us are active in that skin trading and case market on Counter-Strike, which is a huge market, by the way. It's like in the billions. And that's not just on Steam itself, but also on these third-party websites um that that enable the trading of these
cases so it's a it's a huge market and um you are correct to assume that at some point the idea is
to not just um you know offer these crypto awards nfts and tokens obviously those are great and you
know it makes it easy for us since everything's on chain. But what we also want to do is we want to bring these, you know, so-called all the VAs, right?
We will ask this, this buzzword crypto everybody uses for stuff that's not natively on chain.
And where we want to bring, you know, skins from Counter-Strike or could be Pokemon cards as well, where we want to bring these things to K-Sat Fun and have these as dropped as well.
That's a really sweet Web3 integration too.
Just the integrating swap to earn is wild.
I love it.
Yeah, yeah.
And on top of that,
not only will you be able to win these skins
or Pokemon cards or whatever it is,
it could be Labubus too.
I mean, technically anything is possible.
You will also be able to, I mean, that's far out,
but we are working on ways where we could use
your Counter-Strike skins as collateral for a loan,
for example.
So there's certain DeFi things.
Once the infrastructure is built,
there's a lot of things that we could then
do with these assets as well.
How does that necessarily work?
Obviously, I've been around the space long enough that when I try to explain NFTs to non-Web3 native people,
I use obviously ticketing, but also the ownership of digital assets.
And obviously, when we talk about ownership of digital assets, we talk skins and emotes, things that live, you know,
one in Counter-Strike,
Fortnite is a great example too.
How does that actually work?
I've never risked, you know,
opening a chest that is that not tied to a wallet.
How does the ownership of a skin
from say Counter-Strike wind up in somebody's inventory
versus just saying you want it on a site?
Yeah, so there is obviously strike wind up in somebody's inventory versus just saying you want it on a site? Yeah.
So there is obviously some off-chain aspect to that, right?
Because the skin itself will always be an asset that's not natively on-chain.
That's true for every real asset that you have.
So that architecture needs to be built out where, you know, we would technically
be the custodian for these assets. And then we would tokenize that skin and, you know, enable
that to be traded or used on chain. All right. So it's more, it would be more of like a tokenized
asset that is then claimable in, in non-web3 world on say Counter-Strike. Yeah. So technically you
would, the simplest form would be
you would come to our website, you have a skin.
You could send us the skin, basically,
and then we would tokenize that skin for you.
And you could use it then to take out a loan.
Or we have our own skins that we bought off the market.
We will tokenize them.
And if you get a skin in your case,
you have the skin as an NFT.
You could then, like I said, use that as a collateral or you could use our website to say,
cash out basically,
and we will send you the real skin over on Steam.
That's super cool.
Have you guys dove into the mechanics of like a loan
based strategy like whether it's percentage wise like if you're gonna be like yeah we'll pay 80
percent of whatever said skin value is if you're taking them in on loan or how's that how's that
look uh you mean like just giving out a loan for the assets right is that is that what you're
referring to yes yep yep yep that's that would be one of the ideas I mean that's basically the I would
say probably the the initial idea besides giving these out as case awards is company you know for
people who come in and say you have a valuable skin um you know we always share the the dragon
the dragon AWP skin on our on our Twitter a couple times now I mean which is probably
probably around
like 18 15k or something like that depending on the price and you could then come in you know use
that as collateral and you know mint uh usdc abusd wherever we would launch that and then use that
money as you wish right and then obviously there's you know risk involved with that if you get you
know if you default then you know your your skin would be gone. But it's DeFi, right?
So there's always certain risk involved in these things. But yeah, technically anything is then
possible with that. I'm actually shocked that more Web3 native people don't dabble into the
trading of non-Web3 assets like skins. Let me ask you this. You say you've been playing for a while.
What's your craziest skin for Counter-Strike?
Yeah, that's a good question.
Probably the Karambi knife or the Dragon WP.
That's one of the crazy ones.
Our founder, I mean, one of our cofounders um who's not on the call right now
is uh he has a pretty big collection of a lot of skins um i'm i'm more of a you know i'm i have a
sum i don't have as much um not as much as i wish i would have um yeah he also says you know he's
like um you know he has pokemon cards. He dabbles in all these things.
And you're right, it's funny because, you know, when you look on Twitter right now,
it feels like, I mean, Pokemon cards and these skins have been around, you know,
since, you know, 2019, even longer, like, you know, like hype-wise.
And it looks, seems like Crypto Twitter is just kind of finding out about them.
And, yeah, so I think it's a good time for these things to kind of launch and happen right now.
I think we can catch the mind share.
Yeah, no, for sure.
I got two more questions.
They're in totally different directions.
I guess the first one I'll say is right now it's only a swap to peanuts.
So it's wait to peanuts right now that you guys can,
you can use for the multi-swaps to earn chest.
First question being what's the,
do you guys have a plan for other Ape chain native tokens to slowly be
integrated into the swapping feature?
If so, what tokens?
And then maybe what's the timeline for those tokens to be integrated?
So the way that it works right now is that we work out a way with these projects that want to
have their token integrated and then launch that token, right? So it's like a manual process. And there are some other products that we're talking with on Apechain. Nothing, I would say, concrete yet, so nothing that I can really reveal.
But what I can say is that the idea of the project is not like, we don't want to be the
gatekeepers of this process, right? The idea is that the the case token launches um it will be more of a
of a of a government's decision where case holders can effectively decide where these cases will be
pointed towards to right so it's kind of which, through voting,
decide which pool gets the emissions.
And that's kind of what we're doing with cases here,
where we want to have this ecosystem where caseholders,
for one, they get rewarded through revenue,
which from opening these cases,
that revenue will be shared with caseholders once the token is live.
But we're also planning on um giving caseholders the the power of this deciding which pairs will
be supported and um through that another interesting aspect of that is for actually
to to vote on these um on pairs you know that should be incentivized, you have to burn your case token.
So there is a flywheel, you know,
if that kicks in where a case becomes deflationary.
So, you know, we're excited to kind of see
how this plays out.
Yeah, no, that's very cool.
I was going to ask, actually,
when you brought it up more on the case points
or the case token stuff
that you can earn and get out of the cases
but I like that you guys
are kind of keeping it close to the chest. You've mentioned
a handful of times on this
space and even others that there is
speculation for
a potential token drop or
TGE at some point.
Very cool. I love what you guys are doing.
I guess I'll end it with this only because i'm kind of involved in both spaces one being web3 and two being the esports
side of of i don't know world um it's a very taboo market to cater to gamers um A lot of gamers, in my experience,
have been more turned off by Web3 and crypto
than they have been excited about the potential
of digital ownership and assets and tradables.
How do you guys think you're going to,
one, market to that audience,
but also to crack it open and be like,
hey guys, here's the way that you can,
without the risk of being scammed by some other gamer,
have the digital ownership and funds
that are tied to the rare assets that you have in games
that are non-Web3 based.
How do you think you're going to pull them into the fold?
Yeah, so I think that's a fair assessment.
For us, though, since we're targeting people that
are already, let's say, trading these skins or owning
these skins and they kind of know the value of these skins,
we're just giving them another avenue of usage right we're saying hey yes you have these valuable skins but
what if you could use these skins for something else as well you know without selling them by you
know what i said earlier by just taking out a loan right um so it's to us it's not necessarily
kind of convincing those gamers um they're not interested
in it i think you know somebody who's not interested in skins on counter-strike and just
plays the game because he wants to play the game i don't think you know he would be interested in
our product either um but those people that are doing it already um i don't see i don't really
see any um i'd say barrier for them them to be interested in what we're offering.
And if you look at the Web2 case sites that are very large and big,
they already offer ways for people to use stablecoins to pay for opening cases, for example.
So it's not like this crowd already has some familiarity with,
with crypto, if you will. So, you know, that,
that would just open up a new avenue for them where they're like, Hey, you know,
I could actually do something with these skins now,
other than just having them in my wallet or trading them. And you know,
that's kind of what we're, what we're going for.
I don't, I don't know enough about the the counter-strike skin
game are there multiple sites that offer or are available to use for let's just say like risking
or gambling for more skins uh for weapons or is there just like a main staple one for counter-strike
yeah so the i would say like the the main staple one
is obviously the steam marketplace like the original one right so all these skins originate
from there but there is a way where you can um trade or like send your skins right so what these
sites basically do is they have these inventories of skins and they just allow you to do you know certain things besides what steam
allows you to do and there is a bunch of them like um i don't know on top of my head i could
probably think of like four or five big ones um that all do uh you know a ton of ton of usage um and uh you know they you know steam itself has cases um that you can
open on on steam where you get these skins and what these third party sites do is they came up
where they kind of have their own cases so what i just said where you could send these steam cases
they just basically keep custody of these Counter-Strike cases on Steam.
And then they have their own skins on their third-party websites.
And then whenever you play there,
you connect with your Steam account
and you basically play these games with these cases or open them.
And then you win real skins,
which you then can transfer from, you know,
the third-party website back to your Steam account,
if you want to use these in Counter-Strike, for example.
But most people even do that.
Like, that's the whole thing.
That's why these things are so big.
It's not just people want to use these in the game.
I mean, some people do.
Some people like looking at them.
But most people, you know, use the the third party websites as a way of um easily you know um trade
and and get these these skins yeah that's cool that's really cool i'm super bullish on you guys
i love everything you're doing uh also like that you integrated a chain so very quickly
helping with the transactions over here so uh i'll definitely be playing more
in the space i gotta load up my uh my eight chain bag though uh in order to do it i literally don't
have enough even if i bought a 15 right now i don't have enough to open it so i gotta move some
stuff around uh and play the game but uh i want to open the floor or if you guys are even listening
in the audience and you have a question for case.fun thought feeling anything else feel free

of when you open a case what you get is calculated on shame through proof of play
keller that was me i set up
the pins for you to knock down over there if you guys aren't familiar proof of play was also
used for um for the wheel of fate as well so completely randomized and very cool they're a
great team over there adam's dope uh i used to play um i used to play pirate nation quite a bit
too so it's very i'm a big fan of what they're building. Yeah,
they're a correct team,

And it's been,

We use somebody else on,
on base right now,
or we started out with some other protocol on base.

time we were rocking pudgy party i got a couple of you guys added
uh i've been playing a little bit here and there a little bit here and there
uh i have some feedback on what i've recognized pudgy party plays like it plays like a bot
simulation of um of like fall guys like i've really like i used to like race really hard
i used to play really hard and I could
easily take like a first or second place like easily in anything but then I'm realizing that
at the end of all of our races that I think a lot of the characters and players are actually fake
so I don't know if at a certain point there's going to be like an update where the the skill
of other players is going to take, but it does feel that way.
And then at some point in recognizing
that I dove a little bit deeper into,
I don't know, kind of how Pudgy Party's marketing,
that's like my bread and butter.
I like seeing how projects, companies, brands
project themselves outside of this bubble
that we live in in Web3.
And I didn't realize that Pudgy Party
has such a large audience following and voice living on instagram of all places i don't know if anybody
here actively uses instagram but uh pudgy party partnered in new york city with like uh like a
brain rot on broadway so there were like these pudgies that were like walking,
like these pudgy characters that were like walking around in Broadway
alongside like Tuck Tuck.
And like they had,
they were like on a stage and it was like a big thing,
but it's funny to like see this large scale New York based activation
not talked about on the timeline.
I don't know if anybody else saw it, but like definitely worth digging into a little bit.
Pudgies is making moves and I'm very critical of kind of what they do.
But it's funny because I'm critical of it that I don't hear about it until it's too late.
But I also feel that at this point they are marketing to people that aren't us which is very very very
interesting so definitely go peek on instagram i know it's not the regular the regular share of
alpha but to kind of see what they're doing maybe for your own projects maybe for your own brand and
your voice here on x it's worth kind of looking into and seeing what this top tier nft project
and gamer are slowly pushing out to a more generalized audience.

Like I say, we're building a, actually at the minute,
building a mobile, well, we've built a game,
but we're converting it to mobile.
And I actually, you know, I'm a strong believer
that we could probably, you know,
as you see the success of Pudsi Party, you know,
mobile gaming could be maybe the key
that we've been missing for adoption you know
to try and bring web 2 gamers over to web 3 because there's a hell of a lot of people that
play mobile games in fact when we built our game on pc and mac we built it we're like ta-da look at
this community we've got amazing game that we've just built they all go the first thing they said
is can we play it on mobile and i was like shit that's so crazy that's so crazy i never play mobile games like if i'm gonna sit if i'm gonna
sit and play i want to be able to like dedicate some time to it and i see the like the attraction
to it but holy cow to build something completely on a separate platform and then have to adapt it
man kudos kudos yeah that's what we did so that's what we're doing at
the minute we're uh we're mincing our game assets and then with the mint money we're paying our game
developers and then convert it completely you know i thought it was dead easy i thought i said to me
game dev i said oh you just press a button don't you just convert it nice and easy goes oh no no
no we've got to convert it to unity 6 and then we've got to once we've converted it to unity 6
we have to optimize the game so it's
a smaller and we have to then put controls on it for the mobile so that's basically why we're
mincing our game assets to then fund the game dev to make one make it into mobile version and two
also to make you know if we've got any extra money we'll probably optimize it and put in extra
little features and making it a lot better to try and attract more web 2 players over to play it and
that's why we're doing it
really we want to we want to get the game on it and it is a very competitive you know i'm not
going to release it and i'm not it's not going to be like amazing because it's very competitive
the mobile market is gaming is very competitive you know there's probably i'd probably say 90
percent of people that put games indie games on there it probably failed but like i say it's
another you know everyone in my community wanted wanted to play it on mobile rather than pc so we were that we've
adapted and uh that's what we're doing but you know i think uh i think i think a lot you'll see
a lot more people now a lot more projects sorry now probably building mobile games i know where
i was on a space yesterday with squiddy actually with gem scope and uh crypto morris they've bought they've also built a mobile game as well
so you know i think there's a i think there's a big potential you know for projects to build these
and then convert web 2 players into web 3 because maybe we've been doing it all wrong maybe we've
been trying to shelter web 3 people come play our games when really we should be building in web two and then trying to pull them over to web three like flip it on its head but who knows you know
i'll try it you know like i say it's a early space we're always it's always trial and error
but uh yeah i haven't had any 40s today tom but i've just had a nice super buck and i might be

actually works like if i swap a certain amount i'm seeing here on the website like uh do i have a shot at two cases like i'm just confused by that a little bit

ways to go about um you know getting these cases through the swaps, right?
There is the traditional swap interface that you probably know from other DEXs like Camelot or Uniswap.
And then there is the multi-swap feature where we kind of do the swapping for you.
Am I correct that you're probably on the traditional swap interface, right?
Yeah, yeah.
And actually, I was going to ask about the other ones because I clicked into the two
cases, the Banana Bucks, and I forgot the NEMA, the other, I'll go back.
But it did give another option for swapping.
So I don't know if you can go over that as well.
It might be interesting for others listening also.
Yeah, sure.
So, I mean, if you just want to farm cases
or if you just want to rip cases open as fast as possible,
then this new multi-swap feature is definitely the way to go
because we basically automate the whole swapping process for you.
So you just go to the marketplace, select one of those cases.
One is the banana box.
The other one is the monkey business case.
One has a smaller threshold when it comes to the value that's needed.
The other one is a little higher.
On top of my head, I don't have it right in front of me,
but I think it's 150 and 250 for those cases.
And when you do the multi-swap, we basically just use the least amount of Ape or peanuts
and then do the most amount of swaps possible, which is 20 swaps right now that we can do per transaction.
So per transaction, we do 20 swaps for you automatically using the least amount of
ape or peanuts needed for the amount of cases that you want right because you can just click
um on the middle side you can just say okay i want five cases and then we do the uh you know
we show you okay this is how much um you need to swap to get these five cases and that's the swap
fee that you pay for for the swap and that's it um that's basically the the easiest way of doing it um and the other way that the the traditional
way if you will is um you could go and just use any amount uh of um of ape or peanuts uh and just
swap token a for token b right and then there's a one in three chance that you get a case so it's not guaranteed
there um multi-swap on the other hand since we do the swaps for you it guarantees so that you
know once we're done you get uh the exact amount that you that you want does that make sense
yeah yeah yeah i'm following along now i was was just kind of like clicking the max and just kind of playing around with everything.
So it is good to have, I think, to clarify, you do need weight for this, right?

I mentioned earlier that we will allow people to just use Ape directly because it needs
to be wrapped to be swapped.
And I don't know why we didn't add that there,

the pool wants you to swap Wape for peanuts.
That's why we have to use Wape.
But we will make it easier so you can also use Ape
and you don't have that extra step
that you need to convert it first.

where you're swapping, I guess, in like traditional ways,

it does give you the use ape or use
