I've officially been abandoned, question of the day is, what's the biggest hurdle that's stopping
you from getting into ordinals, I had some awesome conversations during Bitcoin Miami,
I had a lot of questions, I even asked, you know, BitGod straight up, gave me the dummy version,
or the dummy, dummy, dummy explanation of ordinals, BRC20, you know, the whole nine, right,
so, we'd love to kind of know what you guys are experiencing, what's difficult,
have you created a wallet, do you know where to find a wallet, or build one, all that shit,
so, please go ahead, answer the question, and we'll go through some of the answers.
Talking about BitGod, where's this man, this man has gone MIA, I was just talking to him in DMs,
to be fair, he does have a project coming out very soon, so he's going to be running a bit late,
but look, you see that orange background on me, I'm a BTC maxi now, you know the vibes,
look, my PFP was in the gut, and now it's worth 10 ETH, yeah, we're up now, we're up now,

how was it?
So, for clarification, I actually wasn't partying it up until midnight, to be honest with you,
these, well, these, these, these, these Bitcoin maxi MFers don't really party till late,
they're not Ethereum maxis like us, and actually, I was condoned as an ETH maxi,
specifically at Jonathan Schultz's gallery event, he held a beautiful Ordinal, Diamonds,
and Bitcoin D God event, so a huge shout out to him, and his entire team, he owns a gallery down in
Miami, it was a really awesome experience overall, I won't hone too much on it, and hopefully there
will be people that pop in, I did send a message to some of the people that I connected with,
to jump in here, and just to kind of explain their experience, but it was really awesome,
had a chance to kind of spend time with the on-chain monkey team, again, BitCod, his team
went to a SteadyStacks event, which was really cool, and they kind of had an opportunity to merge,
it was super educational, one thing that I really loved was that the people that are super heavily
invested into this, have no problem just kind of sharing all of the information that they know,
right, there is no such thing as really token-gated, there's no one just trying to hold
all this information to themselves, they are willing and open to just kind of teach anybody
who's curious about learning, they're not going to make you feel stupid, or that you're just
arrogant or ignorant, just very open, right, I learned a lot, I've been studying, I've read just
about every single thread that's out there, I have a wallet created, Xverse, throwing that out there,
if you haven't created one, Xverse is probably one of the easiest ways to do it, but yeah, I'm very
excited for BitGod's project coming out, I'm very excited for how open a lot of these founders are
willing to listen to, you know, I asked a lot of them, why Bitcoin, right, why not Ethereum, and
Bitcoin is essentially king, right, when you think about cryptocurrency, a lot of the big players
out of the space, think of Bitcoin instantly, a lot of people have been mining Bitcoin or into
Bitcoin for a very long time, and when I say big players, I mean everyone from like serious businessmen
and women, VC funded companies, just would prefer to stick with Bitcoin, aside from any other
cryptocurrency, so I think I'm expecting a really big shift in the way that a lot of these projects
maneuver in the future, I've even gotten into phone calls with projects that haven't even lost yet and
asked, hey, do you think it might be smart to switch over to BRC20 to Bitcoins and create like
an ordinal project, I said, well, you know, I gave a list of advice from what I've read and what I
understood, but I would definitely, if you haven't had an opportunity to read on some of the threads,
I recommend spending a little bit of time doing so and just staying educated, this is not like
shitcoin season, there's a lot that's happening and it's definitely going to be here to stay for sure.
I definitely agree with you, and kind of just asking, well, answering the question of what was
the biggest hurdle, I think it's always education, right, it's always education, I did a quick thread,
it didn't take me too long to do it, I posted it, and people were like, oh shit, really, that's it,
it was that simple all along, I think, I think when it first came out, it was definitely a big shock to
everyone, it was like, what, a lot of spreadsheets, who do you trust, it's over the counter, I'm most
likely going to be scammed, and I think it put a lot of people off ordinals as a whole thing, and you
know, just not looking into it, but we've seen platforms like Magic Eden, really
pushes, we've seen more wallets come out, that is user-friendly, trading has never become easier,
and now we're seeing a bigger push with ordinals, and people being onboarded, so I think it's always
a lack of education when it comes to something that is the biggest hurdle, and day by day,
it's getting easier, right, we're seeing quality threads come out, we're seeing people leading charge,
and that's what we like to see, and I do deeply think that ordinals are here to stay,
they are, Sansa, talk to me.

i'm actually proud of that one like a lot of you guys i i usually don't you know to my own horn
kind of proud of this one uh but no no i agree i think education is the biggest hurdle because
there's shit like that people fell for the misconnect shit thinking oh this is the next
bitcoin uh no no so um and and this is the same case here with uh and i'm just on an nft scale
so uh obviously proceed cautiously and the best way to gauge this is that if you are
you know funding a wallet and that scares and the the amount that you're funding it with scares you
you're probably better off not uh getting into it in the first place so that's um that's just
something i wanted to kind of put out there especially when it comes to the fact that we
are essentially literally multi-chain to the max at this point right we're i mean don't get me wrong
there are other blockchains right but in terms of talked about we're already talking about you know
three four three four three or four of them uh in terms of like having to send from one wallet to
another bridging from one thing to another like it all that's that's a lot and that and that's an
expensive endeavor so just make sure you have your your you know your financial shit in in uh in
control first and then you know um think about it before you possibly end up in the next big connect

of scams like nobody really trusted i never used that procedure because i was like you know probably
you could get scammed easily um i that was like the reason why didn't really like get into ordinals um
before now so but you know well let's say coming out you know x fast unisa everything was made easy
so you know it's it's kind of i think the main thing that's holding people back is usability like
um an indication you know so um you know like i said when this nft bdc like it was a thing i was like
oh this is still a thing i can do it with time all we need is you know more usability and um blockchains
or wallets starts you know accepting it and boom you know we had this wallets come up to you know make
things easier for people and it's just like me buying um when i want to buy my nft now it's just like me
buying from magic and using fandom yeah so everything is more easy now and easy i mean that's my take on
there yeah 100 things have become easier right that is for sure and i know bitking you've been in
the game for a minute i've seen you going around in spaces especially unscripted things are definitely
getting better and i suppose they are definitely going to get even better down the line right like
i said like what initially said it's always just the lack of education but we've seen more threads
come out we've seen more content come out we see more people push projects out so i'm curious to see
how this is going to lead and i think the number one thing that people are questioning right why btc
what's the value behind it right i know z spoke about how it's got all the whales it's got all the big
players around it right btc is king btc is the gold essentially but what else is there i know
there's a historical value but i'm trying to see what other other value that people see

yoga labs and he was like it was just around the time where uh the 12th old mint dropped and he didn't
tell me that he didn't say anything i just asked him about ordinals he was like he was like oh yeah
like i'm actually pretty bullish and ordinals but don't tell anyone i was like what and he was like
yeah like i've uh i've minted a few uh bitcoin punks um that night and and uh you know i created like
15 20 different like uh annum wallets and i was like okay cool good for you bro um but yeah he didn't
tell me anything about 12 volt he was like oh i'm just i'm just bullish and ordinals and then like
a free literally three days uh passed and i i came back to london from paris and uh 12 volt dropped
and it was fucking insane um and then all that craziness like of the uh of the you know all the
new projects and the bins i i you know i felt like loads of fomo to be honest and you know i was
literally like i just to the point of the user experience it was super difficult to even like
do anything right at that time there was there was no documentation it was really difficult
there was like there was two inscription platforms um i think it was gamma and uh ordinal bots i think
and then the uh express wallet didn't even exist in terms of like uh being compatible uh with with
ordinals so they were they were they were just starting to build the wallet there was no wallet
infrastructure uh so the only thing that i had to use was sparrow wallet which was insane right
and um and sparrow the user experience was pretty difficult like i'm a i'm a user experience designer
and it's like it's literally like the one of the it's not easy right to actually uh you know even
even for myself to kind of get to get through the uh the setup so yeah so i think it's much much easier
now and i think everyone kind of through education through like you know all these cool threads you know
like we're learning from from all these project founders and there's so many cool communities
popping up now you know whether it's uh tap with wizards or whether it's the uh um you know the
bitcoin frogs there's so many cool people building right now so you know shout out to the people who

i just got done eating seats i'm throwing out the receipt right now so good perfect
every day this week in honor of bitcoin because i knew most people only do it on mondays and i'm an
an overachiever like that you know um so but uh on the topic of uh lord and all stuff i was one of
the people i was luckily to be around some people i got very early to it um some guys that were uh you
know part of the original 10 000 minted on ordi that had pigs and pixel pepes and got airdropped them
for free because they they held the wallets so on and so forth and so it's been really interesting to
kind of watch it all get built up to the point i faded it the first 45 days in my ear about it
every day and day it was like so hype about it and uh but i think as as i've watched you know btc miami
and i've watched more people go over to it i think there's a marketplace for it i think there's a niche
trader i think that when people really start getting heavy like like it's not this idea that
oh it's it's yeah i saw somebody post the other day they said oh you know ethereum is the test net
for bitcoin i thought that was one of the dumbest things that are considering like interoperability
of these two networks like there's still an entire programmatic layer for ethereum that you can't
you can't fake that on btc as much as you know ordinals or cooler stuff right like
defy and all of these mechanisms that exist you know you know and at the base layer there's btc but
you still need kind of youth to do it so um i'm a little bit wary that when something reaches like
this fomo hype when and it's not a new chain but you see it with like can't ever see these huge swaths
of retail come in and so i'm just worried that like hey how do you how do you stop people from
getting scammed right like how do you how do you manage to like hey if you see derivatives
of each project on btc you're not fucking minting them so on and so forth right like because
for all experienced people right like they're gonna figure it out but then retail always comes
in at the end and you know i don't i don't want happens like all the people that get turned off from
eth because they get rugged or they buy the top and it goes straight to zero i just don't want that
same experience to be like oh well this happens on btc too so that's my only two piece on it
i think what you said about or whoever said eep is the test network bitcoin is the worst
fucking tick i've ever heard and i think i want to disclose this real quick right this is um like
a meta that we've seen before you know once people are educated on something it's gonna boom
not every project that you gonna you know you mint is gonna be the one that is gonna take you to
valhalla essentially nor is it gonna be something where it's something for the long term it's like
with any nft any method there is there are going to be tons of derivatives there are going to be a ton
of projects coming out there's going to be a ton of people that are going to be burnt in that process
as well right wherever the tension is where the hype is that's where people are going to try and
capitalize that's where people are going to be like this is an opportunity to make money
and i'm going to front run it as much as i can it's not like we've never seen this before it's
always been happening either on eth solana polygon it's been happening for the longest time right
it's just the current meta now here's what's going to happen right the education is being pushed further
right so more people are getting into it when more people are going to get into it they're going to be
minting more projects more people going to be burnt more people going to that phase is going to
come down and it's going to allow for real builders to actually push through and for people to invest
into better projects so let give it time let it cook let it marinate and you're going to be served

people dipping their toes in uh trying to inscribe themselves which is way easier now with the amount of
technology like at the beginning we were saying like the problem was there is no marketplaces we
were selling and buying on excel sheets like i remember i was like one of the people responsible for
the excel sheet for the bears you know and we were like oh someone bought someone update the excel sheet
and uh now like i'm seeing magic eden and all those websites the technology now is here so
that's amazing because it gives chances to to people to participate because in the past it was
hard you don't know what to do how to inscribe where to buy and like people were laughing at me oh
so you paid 0.4 e for an nft and you don't have it because it wasn't in my wallet like it wasn't in
my sparrow the the nft was basically in the founder's wallet and i trusted them and it was selling for
4.1 btc and i was and they were like the fuck you're doing like just you know take your nft
guys i don't know where to put it like i don't have like the sparrow i don't trust it then we have hero
xverse all those wallets came out it's amazing like you know now lots of people buying and like you know
either buying or inscribing themselves i don't know if you guys saw the the cursed inscriptions today
it's a meme i don't recommend like just your don't go inscribe just because you saw it but now
they're doing the cursed inscriptions which starts with a minus it goes from zero and down the other
way you know instead of one million up they're gonna do one million down now uh it's really interesting
but the thing is when it comes to btc inscriptions at the beginning we knew it's like it's part of
i don't want to say history because it's only four months old but it's like you know you're buying this
historical value you're not buying the nft itself or that there is no roadmap there is no team you're
just buying the jpeg inscribed on one satoshi and a bitcoin is a million satoshi so you're basically
buying one over a million for money you know way more like you're buying you're paying for the
inscribed pepe now what one btc for one satoshi captain can i stop you right there really quick
because i find that comment so interesting so obviously we've you know i've talked to you
personally and we've been in so many projects bought sold lost gained i i find it really interesting
the point that you made that there's no roadmap that you're just buying essentially a piece of art
right i think how interesting is it that so many people required utility whenever they bought into
something whether it was to make a profit um again like a roadmap or some sort of irl utility to come
along with it how do you feel being a buyer a seller someone investing into bitcoin ordinals knowing that
there is really nothing to gain but possibly a return on your money um something to gain like
what are you looking forward to kind of experiencing down the line um from investing in ordinals
i feel i feel first of all it's like i know we joke about it in the eth nfts art oh art you know we're
buying art but yeah there is the the art concept of it but what's more important for me when i started
buying like the whatever uh bitcoin punks the bear i inscribed some myself it was just you know being
early because i felt you know it's the first not the first on btc it's the first not because in the
beginning it was wrapping nfts on btc different stuff stacks and shit but this time it's different
this time you're basically inscribing on a satoshi on the btc chain and the art is staying there forever
forever forever is uh questionable as well but it's staying there forever so for me it was like
buying the historical value i felt you know we were always hearing about people who were buying
the punks the original punks they were buying on website it wasn't like this the marketplace wasn't
like this so for me i was like if i'm buying an nft on a fucking excel sheet this might happen to me as
well like i might be one of those early people who bought you know on an excel sheet that's why i
wanted to buy uh they there was no utility the discord was only a community of people there is no collab
land like they know okay you own it they will give you the role uh your name is on the excel sheet and
that's it so for me it was buying the the history behind it you know buying the technology or buying
the you know the being early part of it that's it until now i feel like even one million inscriptions
were fucking early how many 10 10k collections per day meant on eve during the bull even the bear
like the one million is nothing you know if it's really decent and the project is decent one million is
nothing people think oh i'm late now to ordinances no you're not you're just not in the first you know
really early people and that's it but you still lots of opportunities even with one million
with 10 million i mean 10 million inscriptions so what that's awesome no i i love that and i do

it's okay for people to spend their time educating themselves and for founders taking the time to actually

um and even in the space people are always trying to get something out of every project that's built
right so as a founder not myself but for future founders i would be hesitant just to build on the
simply because of the amount of people who are constantly wanting to get something out of projects
um and that's not always capable that's not always something that is available um for founders to
achieve so i i think it's okay i think there are a lot of people spreading the word you know you have
the laser eyes you have the orange backgrounds you have people like bit god and trevor running
consistent spaces i mean we're running consistent spaces right here um that are wanting to educate
and teach people there are tons of threads out there so not to go against you big king but i think there is
enough knowledge right now that will prepare and kind of set the ground for what is to come for the
future yeah real quick real quick uh and then i i have a dumb thing to say so i'll let you say the
smart thing out for me uh really my my dumb thing is that um when bitcoin was picking up in volume a
little bit the transaction fees increased by how much like literally over the course of a week your
your typical average transaction fee went from like a dollar and 20 cents so like
fucking 20 bucks so that's kind of crazy so like i i i when zianna was saying she's okay with
not a lot of projects coming onto the blockchain like that's probably why obviously more traffic equals more
a higher transaction fee etc etc again i told you it was a dumb thing so big king go ahead and say the smart thing
whatever you gotta say yeah you know actually i kind of like agree with but sansa and ziana but i
think i agree more with ziana at this point so what i'm trying to say is yeah to be honest like yeah a
lot of projects are going to like comment you know like i think a project dm yesterday and was like
they wanted to shift you know the project to brc20 and they want me to like make it for them and i was
like to be honest i can't really do that because i i i told them like i know that you're trying to
like push into this blockchain right now because you see a lot of people there and it's probably
just going to be for cash grab probably i don't really know but i can't really just be a part of

that there was a bunch of project that's actually trying to do the same thing trying to move into the
blockchain because you know everybody's talking about it like like to be honest like it's true i mean we
we've seen that in mean coin season you know every single season that's coming like they're
definitely going to be scammers and all that you know like they're definitely going to be scammers
like people just going to come in use the hype and you know cash grab and leave but what i'm trying
to say is for this potential um you know um project or builders let's say d gods or so i think we
need to like all these founders need to find a way to make their community even stronger right now you
know try to like make people you talk about like this is the same project need to find a way to make
the community even stronger because after this you know old hype the only thing that's going to be
pushing the blockchain is the community like the old community that's there so what i'm trying to say
is now is the time for founders to actually step up and try to build or focus on making the community
very active so that's like my take on that thank you so and i'm just going to make this quick
point bet king um it's not just the founders responsibility it's also the team that's behind
the founders right we have very good representations such as pudgy penguins as well as azuki who it's not
necessarily just their teams that are front running the project and what's happening and getting the
community excited but it's like the team themselves behind what's being built so um and again there are
some extremely knowledgeable people on the the btc chain that are providing a lot of that knowledge
that are so open and willing to just answer any questions and i did have an opportunity to experience
that firsthand in miami this past weekend so i'm i'm excited i appreciate the patience um which is
something that did not happen during a lot of the bull in the ethereum chain um that is actually happening
right now with a lot of these founders and a lot of uh people within this ecosystem so i'm definitely

projects but rather just a few solid ones or like even just one good solid project and it could it
could really make a move so yeah and then oh um when it comes to alpha you said people were asking
about alpha earlier one thing i want to cover because i got wrecked i don't want you guys to
get wrecked like i did is um when you are buying brc20 tokens make sure you do not mint if it is close to
minting out and if you are minting i'll give you an example i was minting this token called lfg um
thought i was successful and just uh one other piece of information to mint your first brc20 token
you need to have 20 inscriptions so or to buy your first sorry so i wanted to get my 20 inscriptions
mint this thing and then you know go buy another token thought i was successful four days later five
days later i'm looking at this lfg token i'm like holy shit my 300 are worth like 3k and i go to sell
it and i realize i have 20 inscriptions but i don't have the brc20 token so and when i minted it
was at like 47 so it was nowhere near being sold out so big alpha for you make sure you up your fees
if you're ever buying any brc20 tokens um because it is possible for you to inscribe without actually
receiving the token so i just want to put that out there for anyone looking to buy any brc20
some alpha some alpha on the show we love to see it that's why you came up on the stage

looking to build daps for it already uh binance is looking to add ordinals to to its um exchange
and you know they got zk proofs that come into btc which will make faster and cheaper transactions so
there's already people making moves and you know you don't want to be left holding nothing basically
so it's best to get involved now um while it's while it's early just like with everything so i think
that's just my take on it really is this financial advice

i definitely think they are dude i think like i said earlier the value right now that we're seeing is
the historical art value right the inscriptions okay most of the projects are launching why they're
launching it it's low inscription at the end of the day the nft is artwork but it's also a great way
for artists pure artists right not necessarily tied to a project they can release artwork on the blockchain
right it doesn't necessarily have to be such a very low inscription but i think it's an amazing way to
inscribe something and there's no way to change it so i definitely do think there's a big avenue for
artists right and i know you're an artist yourself so i wanted to get your take on it do you feel like
hey you know this is really booming right now personally i do think it's here to stay
where do you think about it as an artist yourself um as an artist i definitely see like the potential
of it all it still seems like we're in the early stages where most people who are on this platform
are taking advantage by you know dropping projects and kind of getting their foot on the door but
um i haven't seen personally any um artists that i know kind of jump on this ship so um i guess
personally like i'm interested in doing it but just kind of like doing all my research before i jump into
it because i'm not really interested in starting a project but um i would be interested in releasing
art on that blockchain i think here's the thing right with this right there's no expectations like we've had
with nft projects so from an artist perspective i think there's something that you really dabble in
and you know king i got your back i'm bullish on everything that you do so i got you arcanic
arcanic brown boy yo i think actually i think true nick might have had his uh his or her hand up

quick uh just on the art side like i think the main down and upside for the art is the fact that if
you want to inscribe in a high resolution at the moment you have to pay a higher fee for it which means
that either you're gonna you know end up having the problem of creating your art or you know it's gonna
be instantly that more valuable because the art is in 4k on the blockchain in satoshi's whatever
ordinal inscription things and i think that's the interesting part of it because i've seen
a few inscriptions but they're usually at low quality and then people are just like yeah but
that's the ordinal inscription but no because you can choose like when depending on the site that
you're inscribing from you can choose to have a 4k resolution ordinals and sometimes like currently
the last one that i tried to inscribe at the higher resolution was around like 70 dollars
the fee it could be now higher because market conditions whatnot but it is definitely an interesting
venue and i hope to see at least some sort of adaptation and well artists taking that exciting
possibility to sell their art on blockchain and as an original and yeah just i think the prices are
going to be quite insane if we have some sort of a marketplace for ordinal arts like super rare but
super ordinals wallet i don't know we need to brand this a bit more but it could be something and

the subject that von soul was talking about in terms of like artists and how that's kind of viewed
um i know you guys are about to wrap it up so i'll try to make it as quick as possible but uh i don't
know man here's here's my kind of take on it and this may be a good or bad take depending on how you
view it you know feel free to correct me it's kind of an open-ended thing as of right now what we're
seeing on uh on ordinals largely like 90 of all the projects that have come out art wise i would
i would say that they're pretty shit um and i've kind of thought this for a while right i i think
yeah going back to the previous discussions we've had a lot of people are buying ordinals because they
hold some sort of historic weightage uh depending on the ordinal range and the earlier the better
right the the more historical value it has because you know being early having early numbers is just a
very large uh collectors you know something that they all seek uh i just think that in terms of
like artists coming on here i'm not really sure about the market of that and if so if there is a
market that exists maybe the infrastructure for that isn't built yet uh i you know if you go on
like ordinals.market or even magic eden it's just a showcase of the general projects that are out it's
just a whole mix of just random projects you know then you could sort them and filter them by
floor and other shit like that but if you wanted more artists to specifically come on there then you
would probably have to see something like super rare or like uh what is foundation you know some
platforms that are strictly dedicated to ordinals uh that cater towards artists who are actually trying
to put their art on the bitcoin blockchain um but in general man i i think i think yeah like
we haven't really even seen any serious projects like who are actually trying to build something on
ordinals it just seems like a lot of this attention right now is currently driven due to historical
value and uh like you know and in extension a collector's piece like you have for example i'm on
ordinals market right now the ninth top project is ordinal penguins which has a floor price of 0.52
bitcoin and this or uh this project has an ordinal range they were inscribed within two thousand
seven hundred to three thousand six hundred uh inscriptions so very very early this is sub 5k
which is pretty fucking rare right pretty early um 0.5 bitcoin is no joke at all but if you look at
the art you know what this art is i actually when i first saw this project come out i i had this
criticism then and i have it now this is literally if you if you go on fucking open c and you search
up 32 px penguins you will see this art on there and that is a project that came out in august of
2021 or 22 during the fucking bull run which was a rug might i add and they literally just copied this
project over and inscribed on the bitcoin blockchain and now people are collecting it as if it's something
new so i have a couple you know concerns with ordinals as a whole and kind of what people are
buying and selling ultimately my opinion doesn't fucking matter where it's shit because it's the
market but this is just some general information to kind of keep in mind uh art really art in itself
isn't really what is being bought here it's more so just the just the collectability of it the
historical importance of it uh so just just keep that in mind you know just just put that just keep
that in mind before you buy anything i do want to kind of throw something out there really really
quick so i did ask someone because that question came up about like artists having the ability to
kind of uh post artwork like one-on-one artwork pieces similar to like foundation and sorry if you
guys are hearing in the background my nephew's here um so i was just told that there are two um
like platforms that are actually coming out for one-on-one artists with auctions and one of them is going to
be try gamma or gamma.io and another one is going to be ord city so for any one in the audience that
is a one-of-one artist that is looking to get into uh brc 20 any ordinals or anything um i would highly
suggest obviously after doing your research possibly checking out those those future platforms that is not
financial advice i asked someone who's knowledgeable in the space with this topic because i would like to
to know um i've collected a lot of one-on-one art pieces on the ethereum blockchain and i love
actually having the ability to support artists if possible yeah yeah what she means by that is that
we're both broke and uh we're just trying to do our very best out here ziana it's a joke oh my god
