So I was thinking what we do today, I mean, I guess that's sort of the hello.
There's quite a few things to kind of go through.
I mean, the journey to today, which has been quite a, you know,
it's been a multiple year journey for a lot of us.
We want to talk a little bit about the merge itself.
I mean, that's probably the thing everyone's here for
and excited about, with today being that day.
And then a little bit about the future.

Well, we've, you know, sort of everyone's kind of here today i can already see
yeah a bunch of people we'll try and get you know um a bunch of people up just to say a say a little
word here and there maybe you know there are their thoughts and feelings a little bit about the past
should we um i feel it'd be good to go for a little bit through the journey we've been through first. Just a very quick sort of history.
The history of today being an important day in this journey that we're all on.
I guess kind of a little bit on the history.
Where do we start?
How many years ago is it now?

Well, I guess, I mean, a lot of us would have been involved
from the terror days.
I'm sure many of you are.

Yeah, I mean, Kajira, of course, began its days back on Terra,
where a lot of us would have first found it.
I mean, that's beyond three years now.

But yeah, it was a long time ago getting back to that idio on
on star terror yeah star terror yeah the gaming platform what a terrible launch platform thank
god we have a better one coming yeah again yes thank god we have a really great launch pad
yeah on rogera we have a really great most things come in to be fair
and how do you make how how did we make it better with liquidity yay bang bang
if you believe it you can achieve it well within reason don't start don't don't jump out here like if if one if anyone here is like
oh i could be sort of i could be the heavyweight champion if i believe in myself i wouldn't yeah

a fighter and also because he um because he's having internet trouble he he does not have the

I mean, we kind of, Terra was almost the university of crypto for a lot of us.
I mean, it definitely was for me.

Well, I didn't get made redundant,
but I chose a redundancy after people started getting a cold.
So I chose a redundancy at work,
and I decided I'm going to go into crypto from that.
And Luna was my first foray.
You were a touch before me, but...

trying to get some crypto, you know.
That's a funny story.
It's a funny story, actually a quite it's a funny story actually like
the first the first way you bought crypto just just to show how far like the difference that we
have now and this being created on this regera platform like how different explain what happened
to you when you first so uh the first time i bought crypto was in an asda car park if you
don't know what asda is that is basically a walmart in a car park handling someone uh i don't know a water cash i guess yeah and just uh waiting
for bitcoin to arrive in my wallet and uh yeah not far not far off a drug deal well basically was
because uh i tried to do it with a bank at the time to a place in Poland and the women wouldn't let me.
So, yeah.

This is where Kujira was born.

during these last couple of years.
We've got to know so many of these people
and maybe we'd even call them friends.

Yeah, and that's kind of where our own journey started properly,
because that's where we started CoogeeCast.
Before that, we were just kind of learning investors.
This is where we kind of started our journey, I guess,
of being involved with no real sort of talent or abilities no no they do say fake it until you
make it yeah we just realized i don't think we still haven't made it but we're still trying
we essentially got ourselves involved for those that maybe weren't involved then or haven't
or aren't overly aware of us i guess that we kind of got a tiny bit of
notice by singing at the start of song uh videos which is ironic because we can't even sing either
speak for yourself i would say i'm quite a good singer well i don't think that's true but it just
goes to show if you work hard and try your best, you can do almost anything. Apart from Lux.

that was this opportunity, I think it's fair to say, opportunity and paired with a
resilience, inability to quit. Because there is no road to greatness that you're going
to go down. This is philosophical now. There's no road of greatness that you can go down
where there won't be bumps a lot of people would see
those bumps and turn back and say let's take a different road or let's just leave the road
but not this not this set of people yeah it's it's like rocky isn't it really it's a rocky story
it is a bit like rocky at all yeah so we're like rocky four i think now so like we're about to like
beat drago and we're about to beat drago yeah you know and he was like really good so
his training was nuts isn't it dolph lundgren like yeah i mean
you know but you can beat him again not not in real life. I wouldn't recommend anyone.
But in terms of not giving up and pushing forward in the DeFi world,
definitely do that.

And that's what's happening.
Rujira is rocky.
It is indeed.
So, yeah, of course, now we have paired Rujira, Kujira with 4Chain,
and we are here today. This is where the
real craziest times
begin, I believe.
We are bigger and stronger than we've ever been.
We've learned from everything that's happened
and all the serious stuff is coming.

The merge contract is open. Also, I also i think you know this is a pretty significant milestone just that we've all been waiting for for a long
time too um you know like i know we got rugi swap what live like a week or two ago but you know now
that the the merge is is actually live you know more real, right, for everybody here in the room.
So I think, you know, PM, Mark, Brett, Hans,
just everyone that's been, you know,
putting in lots of work towards this, big thanks.
I'm sure we're all extremely appreciative towards everything,
and it's, you know, it's really nice seeing this come back to life again.

we're probably a step behind still.

tips just so I mean
it's all explained in the article
but you'll need gas fees
at various points of it so you'll
need Adam on the Cosmos hub at some point just to pay gas on the hub
and then to swap for some room for gas.
So you might as well just make sure to do that as part of the process
and don't skip ahead too much.
But yeah, it should be pretty straightforward.
As long as you have all the fees and everything, the gas,
it takes less than a minute.
Yeah, it's not a difficult process it's been
made very simple and it um well i guess the merge site itself is pretty self-explanatory and you know
the buttons kind of tell you what to do um but yeah of course again again there there is the
articles on rujihub.com where you i mean you can just watch a video and copy it, essentially.
It's pretty simple, whether you have got your Coogee, your R-Coogee,
your Fusion, Wink Levano, and then, of course, Unstake as well.
Get those merged into the big boy Ruji.

that uh the merge isn't the tge so even after you merge your tokens you know they're not going
to be liquid until until tge happens which hasn't been announced quite yet for that specific day timing.
But and as well as that, you've got, you know, the whole decay thing is explained as well in the main article, but you've got up to a month to, you know, migrate initially before
any sort of penalty or anything on any of your migrated tokens.
So if you still staked or whatever for any of your assets you should consider
doing that pretty soon so you can make sure that you have them and can start the process before
month is up yeah exactly you've got until the 5th of may um and then and then um you lose i want to
say around one percent every three days. Basically, isn't it?
Well, it's definitely going to be interesting, for sure.
Because you're going to have some choices.
I mean, that's part of the fun, I guess, that's coming.

it's going to be the
cool stuff coming.

Yes, it's been a real
journey, man.
I mean, like you said though, this is an exciting day,'s been a real journey, man. Like you said,
this is an exciting
day, this is a big day, but this is kind of
just day one.
Yeah, it is. It's very much
even day
zero. Day one will
probably really start from
the moment we have the first app
live, so
Ruji Trade will be day one for me.
We're basically the prologue of a new book right now, that's what we are right now. We're in the
prologue, we're about to go be in chapter one in a few weeks time. This whole thing, it's a multi-year venture isn't it this isn't just a you know a few months a year
two years i mean we you know i i i often hear people going oh you know in four years we'll
be doing this bit and then this bit yes um it's got real long-term plans to it all right that's
a that's a word of premise we are not here to uh just do a quick pump and dump scheme like this.
If that was the plan, it would have been over four years ago.
So no, it takes time.
And every pump in the road means having to rethink and reinvent stuff.
But that's how we build a very resilient system eventually.
And in the long term, how we win.
So yeah, it's still just the beginning. but now it's going to be much more active.
Yeah, I think that the fun really starts now.
I mean, you know, you could already, there's already a tingling of that in the groups,
you know, the telegram groups, kind of that little bit of flame is kind of igniting.
I think from today, we're really going to start getting that energy and excitement back.
What would you say is the most exciting thing for you?
Sort of as a whole for Ruggiero,
in the future, everything,
what's the thing you're maybe most excited about?
For me, it's always come back to
the new market-making strategies
that we'll be delivering eventually,
that we'll be able to add a ton of volumes to the order book
and have to tap into this top chain liquidity.
I think that's what excites me the most,
because that's where I see the biggest revenue potential for the chain,
which of course, as a big QG bag order, is something that matters.
So there is this in terms of products specifically,
but more generally, it's really like, I mean, I don't know if you have tried yet
to merge or to do swaps on the
Ruge swap, but the omni chain experience is also pretty awesome. Like once you manage to connect
your various wallets and you get your Bitcoin there and you get your EVM wallets with base,
with Ethereum and with Avax, and then you get your Cosmos wallet with Guji and Cosmos,
and then you can start to do all those different things
from the same place with just by swapping between wallets.
It gives you a pre-taste of what it's going to look like
once we have all those apps
and how it's going to be very different
from anything else we had before,
including our six way on, on, on, on Jira. So that's,
that's also super exciting. Like this, uh,
this is very new, uh, way of interacting with blockchain. That's, uh,
that is only chain that's, uh, I'm looking forward to.
Yeah. It's exciting, man. I mean, this is,
this is just a time we've all been looking forward to.
And I'm just, yeah, these next few years are going to be really quite a mad time, I reckon.

It's all about starting to roll out these apps
and build up volumes.
And I think that's a very cool step.
So once we have all the
apps starting
to roll out,
I think
what's going
to be really
nice is how
we are going
to gamify
all that
with Ruggie
League.
So that's
something we
had in the
pipeline with
Matteo from
the action
team from
back in the
day on
Kojira.
But now
we have res resolved the whole thing
and it's going to be integrated really as part
of the overall economic activity of the chain.
And everything you will be doing will be earning you points
and you will be having a leaderboard.
Periodically, we will use some of the RUJI
in the ecosystem funds to distribute rewards.
And so we can gamify this, the world experience.
And all the points are based on the economic activity you generate while using the product.
So it's also very well aligned in terms of trying to maximize earning for stackers while also rewarding people who
directly contribute value in the form of fees. So I think it's going to be very good. And then we
can start to further gamify the thing and maybe have some team system. And so, yeah, it's going
to be nice. And Alex and the Autologia team are also building all the AI infrastructure.
So they are already at this proof of concept,
chat to Wikileaks interface to interact, which is super cool.
And next step, they are going to start looking into autonomous agents.
I think that's going to also add a ton of fun to this experience. Like imagine that eventually you can compete in Ruge League,
but instead of doing it yourself,
you can just spin out an agent,
put some tokens in this wallet,
and then give him some instructions
to try to maximize your points.
Or if you can put it together with a team concept,
maybe you do that not just you,
but you can create a team of agents
with other people you collaborate with,
or just yourself, like spin out a bunch,
try to have them collaborate to maximize the points you earn,
maximize your place in the leaderboard,
and then maximize your rewards.
So I think it's going to open like a whole bunch of way
for people to earn
and having fun doing it.

Yeah, so we have a full plan we are working on now. So priority short-term will be, of
course, to roll out the core apps and to onboard the existing projects. There are a few other
very cool stuff. So NAMI is also going to be a key part of the ecosystem now.
They will have all those different strategies,
but they will simplify the process and allow people
to just single-state deposits any token they want
and optimize earning on that.
And that can work well also with AI agents
and just trying to build some strategy on top of this.
And then we will have also,
we have the Kuji index guys coming,
which quite nice,
they are gonna be able to do indexes with native assets.
So it will be the only place where you can have
an index made of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, for example,
using native assets of each of the versions
secured by Torchette.
So it's a super good proposition.
And it's only possible because we have this partnership.
And this is quite exciting.
And then once we will be done with migrating,
onboarding all those teams, and rolling out
most of the co-ops we have, we are going to open the floodgates for new builders to join.
So there will be different tracks, like the people who build on top of co-ops,
people who can come and create something new that is not a vertical we already have,
or people doing things that we consider out of scope some things,
like, for example, Real World Assets would be great to have some of those on Rojira,
but we don't want to be as a team.
It adds a lot of complexity and costs
having to deal with the guarantee in the real world.
We don't want to do that.
We want to remain decentralized and store in user values.
This type of stuff makes sense that NextEarth does it.
And we will be onboarding all those people's
and there will be some i don't want to confirm anything yet but yeah we are looking into some
interesting uh funding mechanisms as well and potentially setting up uh
ruji venture funds that uh will be able to um to invest in those projects and do that in a way that is a bit different from standard
grants. So instead of doing grants,
we'll be doing investments
where it makes sense
at least.
And I think
it has
the potential to scale,
to make it something a bit more exciting.
We had a few chats about that
and maybe a chat-tongue-like
type of show to try to attract new builders and uh sort of some sort of competitions and
and the one who win will fund them up to certain amounts that they will launch on
on the road adventure and use also tools and start to bootstrap real economic activity
by on the co- apps and the existing builders and
eventually expand that to the real world.
That's the ultimate
end of it. So yeah, a ton of very cool
stuff coming. It's really just
the beginning, but now we're going to start
to have time.
