So really excited for that to come out.
For me, it was really important for us to continue the ethos of us going outside of
the Web3 bubble.
And all of these titans have millions of followers across all of them.
And I went to find them on Twitter and they have like none,
which is so bullish for me because I'm like, let's go.
I'm outside of this echo chamber right now.
And millions watch this, by the way, guys, like millions of people will see Vala.

We've seen tremendous growth in the last 30 days. We're going to put together an infographic to drop soon, but we're talking about 181% week over week increases in
tips. This means that just people really want to support. Just post shit up on Vala and you will
probably get your first tip within the first 24 hours, three days, for sure. If it's good content,
people want to support.
So getting on there, there's a few ways you can maximize your upside.
The first thing is a basic thing that any wallet will have,
which is a token explorer.
So we have our token explorer page and you can find some early runners
and see if you want to hang on the trenches for a little while.
So that's obviously that.
The second way is posting content that's
relevant to your niche, whatever that is that you want to do. There is no rule about what you should
or should not be posting on Vala. Vala is for everyone and any kind of content. We just have
rails that make it easier for people to do financial actions based on what they see. So
you can just be a bag worker. Maybe you just really, really, really, really like,
you know, Pengu and you're just always like bag worker. Maybe you just really, really, really, really like Pengu.

And you're just tagging the token always, right?
So as new users flow in, they'll see this account
and they're like, well, what is this?
And you're just red-pilling them on Pengu
and you make it super easy for them to buy.
So imagine the concept of owning a fan page
that's attached to a token that you can decentralize, you can earn in a decentralized
manner. It's kind of crazy when you really think about the future of social like that, right? Because
it really does incentivize people to push content for things that they care about or they're really
interested in, right? On the opposite end, you can just be giving alpha, right? You can just be like,

That loops into a bigger narrative. If you are in the United States and you are on Vala,
when you earn on Vala, they they're considered tips so you can actually write
up over twenty five thousand dollars in tax-free earnings which is definitely need to do that
for sure if you're us creator 100 uh and then additionally we have the wave of kind of going
back into the original uh concept and the original first way you can make money it's you know right
now pump streamers are big right and there's a lot of things going on with like how is there long
you know how do you capture this value vola is the solution to this right streamers can't be
humans right like this is impossible and you get boring after a while unless you're just
consistently doing crazy so there needs to be a way for streamers to have a place where they can

Now, essentially, the whole narrative has swapped into this whole creator, token economy, content economy, Zara, base, who's going to be the king?

because they helped create something that went viral like that it's just what we're all about
is just giving the tools to the talent the under uh discovered talent and allowing them to thrive
and move up so that was such a testament to that Like God is so good that we were able to be a vehicle to, you know, both those and bring something that I haven't really seen gone viral.
Like I'm looking at other like recent tech launches on X and I don't like our impressions
were impressive. It was actually kind of, the team was like, what's happening? What's happening?

We now just opened up our seed round as well, raising two mil at a 22 mil valuation,
which is super conservative
considering where we're going. If we talk about some of the stats now too, in the last 30 days,
as I was saying before, users are getting tipped 181% growth week over week. So right now, if you

I love that. So, and what's next? So you mentioned the show, it's going to go live at some point. And what's your approach? Has it changed somehow to how to bring some of the web to creators into your app?
Yeah, so that's basically right now, I realize, you know, there's very little value for me to capture anymore when it comes to going to crypto conferences. I've been in crypto since 2012.
I mentioned that in the last spaces.
And, you know, I end up seeing the same faces and it's just a kind of party time.
And like, there's nothing wrong with that.
I love to party.
But I also at the same time, I can't be in the same faces and it's just like kind of party time and like there's nothing wrong with that i love to party but i also at the same time i can't be in the same echo chamber so now
i'm putting myself in events in different locations that are specifically where i would
find web2 influencers or kols or people of interest that will help actually push this beyond
because again ct is an echo chamber and a lot of the times when I first started working on Vala, it was rejected from a lot of people because they were just like, oh, well, I can just go on deck screen or find the CA and put in a TG bot.
I'm like, do you hear yourself?
Like, yeah, you would do that.
The layman's not going to do that.
Like your cousins won't do that.
Like this, like, dude, we're like, this is a super technical industry.
And it's okay that my app isn't your power using application.
That's okay.
But when we talk about how I've crafted this app to be the perfect first crypto app for
someone who's just starting off, they love it.
Every time I onboard people and I'm always onboarding people while I'm around, giving
them some VCM, showing them how it works, their eyes light up.
They're like, what?
This is crazy.
When I, when I shot the show, after i shot the show i got off i had all the all the production
managers and everyone who was working the set like coming up to me like dude dude like i got crypto
i'm only on coinbase but like how do i do how do i get on this like what this sounds amazing like
and they're all like onboarding onto the app so you see like there's an appetite for something
that's so smooth and and allows people to forward. So just putting myself in the shoes of what individuals want outside of the space has been challenging because I think like
that, people in the space say, hey, you're wrong, or that's not going to work, or you shouldn't go
this way. And when they tell me that, I know I'm going the right way because it's not going to be
comfortable. Or we have this elitism in crypto. That's what it's let's be real.
There's a small little twinkle of elitism on like PFPs and what your bags are and like
all these other things.
Right.
So a part of that, there's some little gatekeeping that happens.
And a part of that is there's a little like my way and the way I do it is the best way
type situation.
And that's not what Vala is about.
It's about like for everyone sharing that
alpha, making it easy for people to interact, you know, and all that. So yeah, man, there's some
more stuff happening right now. I'm seeing this. I'll give some more alpha. One of the
big target areas for us to expand into is Latin America. And I have solidified some connections
down there to get me plugged in with the top
streamers, musicians, anyone who's anyone right now doing things right in Brazil and Argentina.
We're going to get connected with them. We're going to be throwing an event, hopefully,
around DEFCON and then basically just really onboarding all of these top tier
creators and other individuals who are doing something. And this is what we're all about. It's like grassroots. Same thing that we're doing here
in the States, but we'll do it in little pockets. Where once an application becomes homegrown,
not so much, I'm spending money on ads and you're seeing it on Instagram type vibes.
A lot of things are going to happen. A lot of things are going to change. And most creators
only have to get 10% of their user base to come over.
And those 10% of those users
are going to be the most,
they're the most loyal ones anyway.
So imagine you have,

you have a thousand,
let's say you have 100,000 followers.
You get a thousand to come over
and all of them
are at least giving you a dollar,

Dude, it is as every launch goes. It has been the most hectic like last six hours ever but i think we're over
the line things are lined up and we're just fired up for today i think we get to show a lot of like
stuff that's never been seen before um not just from hive but like ever in gaming web 2 or web 3.
so super excited and just uh hyped to be here i'm happy to jump into the event like if i can give
some more details i think it's a great time to do it, but just thanks for having us, super excited to be here.
Yes, same here, same here, man. So maybe for the start, could you give us a short overview
what Hive actually is for people who are not familiar with you guys?
Yeah, absolutely. So Hive is like a vertically integrated ecosystem, and so the way we look
at it is,
um, you know, AI is kind of changing the entire world. We see that happening everywhere, but what our big theory is, is that AI is really going to change like whole industries top to
bottom and the products that can kind of control that whole suite will be most valuable. And so
what we're really focused on is, um, we've got three parts. We have Hive Create, Hive Optimize, and then Hive Scale.
Hive Create is like our AI game creation.
So we're able to like build games from prompts and build those from zero to one.
And then Optimize is our AI automation of LiveOps.
So for those that don't know, LiveOps is really like the lifeblood of gaming.
This is where all the like meta features come from, the battle passes, the daily challenges, the rewards. We can automate
the creation and deployment and optimization of those from like zero to one. And then one
of the things we'll be demoing today is Hive Scale. And basically any game created with
us is playable everywhere. So Telegram, you can play them on Farcaster, you can play them on
our website. Pretty soon we'll support native apps. But right now the big launch is we actually
are the first game ever to run natively inside the Twitter feed. And so today when Voxel World
launches with all of our rewards, everybody will be able to play together inside of Twitter,
directly inside the feed. So that's kind of a high-level overview of Hive
and then a big part of what we're demoing today.

So I know we have hardcore gamers here,
like Honeybee, Machiavelli, Hive.
They are crazy.
Squiddy is probably the biggest gamer also
because he's been running a gaming show for like no squid he you just running
the spaces not the biggest gamer there are a lot of bigger gamers for sure I'm
only like 150 I didn't say tall is bro so how does it work that you can play actually uh on your twitter feed yeah so i will tell you this
um not only have you never done it no one has ever done it um we're the very first people to
ever launch a game in there basically we've just built our system where it'll you can click card
you'll be able to render it the whole game will play directly inside the feed. If you're in desktop, it'll open up like literally in feed.
So you'll be playing inside the tweet.
If you're on mobile, it'll actually open up just like the whole app itself.
So it won't feel like you're in Twitter quite the same.
But yeah, it's like it's we're the first technology, I think, ever to support it.
I don't even know if anyone else knows how to do it.

You'll see this 3D world built out of cubes and and people destroying it you can pre-register for there but as soon as the world
opens up it'll just auto put you inside a world and then everybody will be able to see everybody
playing at the same time and you're able to shoot like bazookas at cubes you're able to throw bombs
you're able to freeze them you're able to shoot them with like this grenade gun. And if you destroy the cube, your wallet will actually be minted either the Ape Chain Assets NFTs, and there's
some like really good ones in there. I think people are going to be excited or a Triumph NFT
or some of Hive's NFTs or USDC. So I think we're giving away a total combined value of about $10,000.
And all you have to do is get in there, play, and click the cubes and destroy them.
And one of the fun things about it is when one of the gold cubes is shown,
it makes this loud sound that everyone can hear.
And then everyone will try and steal your gold cubes.
So I highly encourage that you use those freeze bombs.

So it's very different than what we're hearing with Vala.
What are some ways that you guys, you know,
what is your number one thing when you guys are talking about it?
You've got the big whiteboard.
What's going to be the stickiest thing for this, for this game and what's going to make people want to like play it for more than a couple of days? I know, I think that's a great question.
So a big part of what we're doing is like, this game is really like an opportunity for us to give
out to the community, really kind of show people like, Hey, this technology is possible. Also kind
of show like we're able to make a web three game not feel like Web3 game. Like you have to know absolutely nothing
about crypto to be able to play this game and actually earn rewards and interact with it.
But where we're actually going is like my background, just for some context is I spent
a long time at Zynga, which is one of the like largest casual game studios. I built a forever
franchise there. So I
did a hundred million in revenue in a single year. After that, I went to Cyplay, which is like the
largest social casino casual studio. I was on a game that was making like a million dollars a day
there. And the magic in games, especially casual games is almost always the live ops. So everybody
focuses on the core loop. And to your point, it's like, it's fun for three days, and then it falls off and dies after a while. And the reason is because there's just not enough live ops on top, like daily challenges, weekly challenges, battle passes, things that compete with people around different reward mechanisms. And that's like Hive's whole vision is there's a ton of people that make really bad games. And I think AI is going to make that even more common.
There's a lot of creators out there already doing that.
What we're focused on is like, okay, once you make the game,
what does it mean to run it as a business and make it fun
and make it continuously interesting?
And that's where that hive optimize comes in.
So you're able to basically just chat with our agent
and you can actually build like whole reward systems
and challenges and features
into the game and turn them on like on a daily cadence or weekly cadence and so that's really
like this is v1 of like showing that twitter works showing that all of our infrastructure works
the next wave that'll come is a lot of live ops that allows us to like orchestrate different
challenges and experiences for different people on a daily or even hourly minute
based off like what you're interested in, what you've done.
So I think that's like the next step for us.
And the good news is that stuff already works.
This Voxel World demo is really just showcasing the tech
of a real time network game playing inside Twitter

Yeah, absolutely.
So to be honest, we're really close with Arbitrum.
Arbitrum. So Arbitrum is where we've built all of our infra from kind of the beginning.

And when we were building this, one of the things, like one thing that's been really true to me and
my co-founders like belief system this whole time is that like, I don't think these siloed
experiences will be able to win long-term. Like if you look at what makes web2 gaming great,
there's like huge IP networks, there's tons of like good content and different like types of assets
that all tie together in like one game or one ecosystem of gaming.
And so for us, like once we realized the info we had and kind of the opportunity, we kind
of went back to Arbitrum and we're like, hey, who else do you guys have that has great content,
great assets and is like a big part of this ecosystem?
Because our whole end goal is to be able to like take IP and content and different
assets from all over the Arbitrum ecosystem and really kind of lift it all up with different
forms of media. So whether that's gaming or novel experiences hosted inside Twitter or any of that.
And so Arbitrum said that Apechain was a great partner. We started having some of that combo.
And to be honest, like the team's been nothing but fantastic. They really looked out for their community too. Like
there's some really good assets inside these worlds that I'm like super excited about.
And that's really kind of the partnership there. They've been fantastic. And the hope is that we'll
get to do this more and more as we roll out more games. You can imagine a world where we're building
games specifically on all of the Ape IP with our AI game creation
So there's an option as well like there's a lot of different options
But right now we're just sharing this experience and it's been great to work with them so far
And then maybe could you share what will be the prizes like the in-game prizes if you have some Ape Chain NFT collection

Some are rocket launchers, some are bombs.

One's like an ice ball, so you can freeze them where no one else can click.
And the only thing you have to do to win the NFT is actually destroy the gold cube.
The gold cubes hold assets, either USDC, APE, or Triumph.
And so when you destroy those cubes, you'll actually be able to like, that'll be it.

um and that instantly swap does a transfer from our escrow wallets directly into your

to win some g's um i believe in you get in there i will tell you as soon as that gold cube gets
shown there's this noise in the world where it goes and it alerts everybody and it's like a mad
house and the play test we had a play test with tempest guild a couple months ago and it's crazy
because everyone instantly starts looking for it and the gold cubes can be like three to five clicks and so if you're
not the third click or the fifth click someone can literally steal the cube out from under you
it's really fun but also i'm saying if you see a gold cube be very aggressive go get it freeze it
blow it up with a rocket launcher do something to get it because someone will snipe it out from under you.
Not entirely sure, Lukas, if you want to be grateful on your platform because he's well
known for winning and then the rest of the people, they'll be just bored because there
will be only one winner.
So you should probably block him as per my advice.
One question from my side why did you choose Fox over all what was the what was the rationale behind it
yeah I think that's a great question so one of the things we knew we wanted to
do and we were kind of building this experience was like okay we knew we
wanted to launch on Twitter and then we knew that we wanted the game to be more
than just like the AI hyper casual slop that people are seeing.
And so we really wanted to make sure like, okay, it feels like a community.
So the end goal was to make sure that when someone joined that Twitter feed and played that game,
you could be in a world with other people and be competing against people and actually see them engaging with the world as well.
And so this one just checks a lot of boxes.
I think we actually stumbled upon it.
Like one of our engineers stayed up all night.
And then when we woke up the next day,
he was like, hey, this is fun.
And so we did some play tests with some different people.
And it's like, I think this is probably
one of the best ways to have like a moment
of really intense competitive fun
while being able to demo like X working
and beyond chain fulfillment and the seamless Web3 functionality
and stuff like that.
So Voxelworld is really a starting point for us.
This is not the end-all be-all game for us.
The way we see this is a great way
to show what's possible in this new paradigm of gaming.
And that's really how we ended up here.

Yes, you can play it on mobile.
I will tell you,
if you go to Twitter
and you see the card in mobile

all that'll happen is
it'll just open up the website.

Um, but the interesting thing is, is that, yeah, you can play, I think all
of the games, if not like most of the games directly in mobile.

just be able to play it there as well amazing amazing mobile is the alpha 100 guys so how can people

yeah i think great question i appreciate that um honestly following us and like starting to
connect with us and just being involved in the discord, giving us feedback, really helping us like kind of dissect what we have as well as like where we're going, kind on anything greatly appreciated. And then also, if there's anybody out there with like different assets or, you know,
NFT connections or games that they want to host somewhere or like just different IP
that you want to start putting out on Twitter, like we're starting to really open up some
of our like B2B opportunities.

we have to kind of explore a bit about
what the opportunities are.
I mean, for us,
what we've always been able to do really well
is devise these concepts around the tools
that are available to be able to kind of integrate.
And so I think, you know, obviously diving a little bit more deep into what you are building and seeing if we can somehow integrate to what we do on the weekends with the community
because we do participation based on the tools that are given to us right with the other side
it's pretty much the tools at hand and with some of the additional games that have been available
to us like bathroom blitz and now with outbreak these are some of the things we've navigated around and potentially basically put it together to to kind of bring
these games forward and experience this to the community so yeah we would love to talk to you
through um either myself honeybee machiavelli or gspot we have a twitter page as well other games
xyz and we'd love to find a way to kind of integrate what you're doing with us and what we
can kind of do together and and give the community umpe Chain, you know, some, some fun and even the community that's

question though grateful for for lucas so just i was listening in a bit um in the background so
are you able to introduce mini games from other projects is that what i'm hearing that you can
integrate yeah any any game can be on our platform so we are creating our own games we have our ai
engine to create games in live ops and do all of our analytics and AB testing. But basically any game that's
built in unity or is built for web, we can directly integrate into hive and the integration
path is like super simple. So we've had, we had a studio the other day, integrate eight
games in like four hours. We just get all of our identity sync and some of the basic telemetry and then everything's good from there okay the reason i'm asking is
because my my project's kid focus so i want to find a way to integrate with them potentially
not having to enter things like x or discord i want the people just go on their mobile phone
through their parents and be able to just play the games on your on your platform right yeah exactly
we yeah we have that also like the we our idea is to just be everywhere but
it's like the idea is people want it to be where they want it to be and so our idea is just be
everywhere and so um yeah that would be a really easy path for us we'd love to talk into you because
i like the scalability model i appreciate it yeah absolutely Thanks for the questions. Machiavelli, go ahead. Yeah, so for the game integration, you said browser-based games and stuff like that
will easily be integrated into your system?
Yeah, browser-based games are super simple.
Unity games are okay.
We don't support Unreal because obviously we're focused on that more casual space.
And I should say we don't support unreal because obviously we're focused on like that more casual space um and i should say we don't support unreal yet but yeah unity and browser-based games are all
like really simple for us what about if it's a browser-based uh unreal engine game
so if you have a browser-based unreal engine game like there is
like yeah technically it probably could be we We haven't done it yet, but that actually sounds more fun to me.
We got this little game called other side launch.other side.xyz.

That's interesting.
Yeah.
I mean, like technically, technically, I think it could be dropped in.
The only, I mean, there is no reason.
No, we just haven't done it yet. So definitely that's it. Honestly,
that's a great question.
And then also for smaller,
like for the smaller game creators and stuff like that,
is it easily to integrate IP into that integration,
that game creation? Like, you know what I'm saying?
Yes. So we will be doing that that so we're launching that pretty soon the um ai creation
side and the idea will be able to you'll be able to feed your own assets and ip into there
and then use all the game creation mechanics but be able to swap out the assets to whatever you
want all the design style is totally flexible and so like if you guys like if you want to take
other side ip for instance and create like smaller games there, then you could definitely do that. And that's like,
that's one of the first things we're just looking to do. We've got our V1 coming out pretty soon.
We'll do like an internal beta. I mean, an external beta with a few like game developers,
we know for some feedback. And the next version of that would be finding great IP partners to
really start to build
a ton of mini experiences around an ecosystem for. Yeah and a lot of us also have like the rights to
our characters and stuff like that so like you know with us like having the other side and then
having creation tools like this that are easily accessible it's like it's really easy to go create
some mini games utilize your IP and then have it branch back to you know our main world or whatever
you know just so i'm saying just it's kind of like side quests side experiences um small
exactly small in nuances that are like handy or or you know can kill a few minutes here and there
you know what i'm saying like you said they're interoperable across all platforms so on and so
forth but um very interesting no that's a great call out and
also with our platform right out of the box will come all the live ops all the analytics and also
all the payment rails so if you own that ip you create a game and you're able to like generate
revenue out of that which you know we're also driving traffic back to these games because
we kind of know what we're doing in this space then obviously like it's a great opportunity for community members who own those
that ip to start to try and monetize in some way so um whether you want just like a full side quest
fun mini experience or if you want to turn one of your owned ips into like a huge brand um we'll

you know what i mean like so you really start to conceptualize that like really what's at play and
what's at hand and like the power where AI has put us.
Like when you actually have some like great, you know, intentional input.
