Thank you. Welcome, welcome everyone.
Hopefully we get a couple people into this space. I had a little bit of a schedule delay, so hopefully this
inaccurate time doesn't confuse anybody. But let me see if we can get some people in here.
I'm really excited to share what's going on with this upcoming event in Texas, right outside of Austin.
It's going to be happening Memorial Day weekend in Weberville, Weberville, Texas.
Texas Hempstock is an incredible, but not so new event. Um,
hemp stock's been around.
This will be the 20th year anniversary of its inception, um,
founded by Jack here, rest in peace.
And Paul Stanford, who is one of the keynote speakers, um,
this year.
But this event is particularly special.
Excuse me, I'm just getting home and getting into my garage.
So, yeah, it's a really special event in the fact that, you know, this is a legacy event that was founded by these incredible leaders.
You know, Jack, if you don't know who Jack Herrer was, definitely do your homework on him.
There's a saying we like to say out here on the West Coast.
If you think Jack Herrer is just a strain, you're doing it wrong.
This movement was founded and started by some incredible folks, all from, you know, in Portland, Oregon.
So it's really exciting to see that it's been revived.
really exciting to see that it's been revived and there's young blood and the next generation
is really stepping up to take the torch and continue the movement. And what a time, right?
Especially to be part of this freedom movement in Texas, because if there's any state right now that is going through it really needs support from because, you know, it's a central location for
the supply chain here in the United States. It's a really strategic state when we're talking about
the especially industrial hemp supply chain. And we're really hoping to see some progress and growth from this event. We're
really excited to see some of the people that are coming out, you know, big names, not just in music
or in the hemp and cannabis industry, but in politics as well. So excited to see those folks
are going to be making their way out. We're expecting probably a few thousand people at the very least. And again, this is the first of many, actually. They've secured a,
I believe, five-year contract. So they're going to be doing this every year for the next five years
and probably beyond that. And this, if you haven't checked out the Texas Music River Ranch,
Music River Ranch. Hi, Hex. Come on up. It's our volunteer coordinator. But as I was saying,
if you haven't checked out the Texas Music River Ranch, definitely go check that out because the
property itself is something to see.
Hi, Crypto.
I'm going to follow you real quick.
Welcome, welcome.
I just started this space that was scheduled way earlier and I had a delay, so hopefully
more people pop in here.
But either way, I'm just more so doing an infomercial for Texas Hemp Stock.
more so doing an infomercial for Texas Hempstock.
It's an event coming up this month, May 24th and 25th,
in a suburb of Austin, Texas called Weberville, Texas.
It's like 10 minutes, 10, 15 minutes from the Austin airport.
And we're really excited to be really reviving this legacy event
that was started by Jack Herrer and Paul Stanford back in 2005. So
this is 20 years, 20 year anniversary. Here, you can draw on this. Come over here. Sorry.
So we're really excited to be reviving this event now. It's actually free to attend so anyone can come participate it's a family friendly event
we will have a 21 and over area
it's like I said on a private property
indigenous owned actually which I think makes it even cooler
it's got the Colorado River running through the property
and we're going to have camping so you'll be able to
with those
VIP passes, it includes not just your food and parking for the weekend, but also your campsite.
So you can bring your, your tent, whatever have you, um, if you want to rent a tent or your,
you can do that when you get there. Um, yes, supplies are limited. So I got to make sure I add that, get there early.
But these are all the benefits that are actually included in the vendor packages.
So I'm really trying to encourage vendors to take a peek at that website.
I'll share the link here in just a second, but it's a really incredible opportunity for
small business owners and vendors, especially in the Austin area or, you know, anywhere in Texas or U.S.
I mean, I'm coming from Southern California, so go figure.
But there's people coming from all over the country and we're really wanting to get some more vendors locked in. The production crew has done an amazing job already of just putting together the speaker lineup.
I mean, go to the website texashempstock.com and check out the speaker lineup.
It's pretty impressive.
We've got the Texas Commissioner of Agriculture coming out, Sid Miller, who's running for governor.
We've got some of the Texas House of Representatives coming out.
And of course, we've got tons of the cannabis and hemp industry OGs and pioneers that, you
know, many of us have only followed online for many years, but never been able to meet
in person.
These are the caliber of people that are at the NOCO event every year and the,
you know, international, kind of leading the space in the international industrial hemp
circuit. So these are definitely people that if you're trying to get into the hemp industry,
or you want to learn more, especially about industrial hemp, the folks that are coming out,
the people that we've really curated for this event are just
stellar folks on top of their class. Oh, we've also got, yeah, Texas A&M professor,
dean of soil science and the hemp extension. Those folks are coming out. So we've got some
really great speakers and panels and educational presentations that are going to be happening.
Three stages, live music, speakers in between the music.
So I think that gives you a good gist of kind of the setting.
So, you know, consider that, you know, we've got over 50 acres for the event itself and really room to do. I mean, thousands of vendors, if that's what it
grows into, eventually, I think it will. But at this point, you know, we've got a nice handful,
but we're really looking to get some more. And it will really be, I think, a blessing for any
small business. We're expecting at least a few thousand people. So
be smart, be strategic about what you're schlepping out there to sell. It's going to be
probably 90 degrees that day. You know, it's outside grassy area. There are some trees, but
you know, we're expecting a pretty hot day, two days. The event is the 24th and 25th.
hot day, two days. The event is the 24th and 25th. So I don't know, crypto, if you have any
questions, you're welcome to come on up and say hi or add in, chime in, anything you care to share.
Otherwise, I just wanted to kind of put this out there to the vendor, to, you know, the community. I know there's a lot of
things happening, uh, in Texas and specifically Austin in the next couple of weeks, they have
fashion week coming up. Um, so there's a lot of vendor activity, so to speak, but, um, I am not
a Texas native. And if there's people on the ground, or if you know someone, this small business or brand that you think would be interested,
the booths, I believe, if they haven't raised the price yet, are still between, I think, $200, $500, and $700 each, depending on what size you get.
And again, this includes your parking and campsite for the weekend as a vendor.
And I think gives you additional tickets for your employees or, you know, team members.
So lots of great, great benefits.
Crypto, hi, welcome.
Did you want to share?
Hey, how you doing?
I just was capping in? I just was tapping in.
I just finished up working.
But no, I was just checking out, hearing what you had to say real fast.
I know my buddy Michael has been working with you guys as well,
trying to organize the Texas Hemp stock.
Oh, excellent.
Wonderful, wonderful.
Well, I'm glad to hear you and meet you and hopefully connect with you
on at the event yeah for sure for sure just wanted to hear what you saw i saw hexa i posted it so
i wanted to just tap in and listen in real quick and see what was going on i know michael's been
working real hard too on it on the back end of things know, trying to get ready for the event. Oh, my gosh. It's really pollinating.
I don't know any other way to say it.
It's growing.
Just we can't stop it now.
And it's almost like, holy crap, what have we started?
It's exciting, though.
Like, it's exciting to have the space finally, you know, for so long.
Our community has kind of dreamed of this type of event where we finally, you know, for so long our community has kind of dreamed of this type of
event where we could, you know, kind of afford to offer such a, you know, an array of different,
you know, participation levels and experiences. So I think it's going to be a really great event.
Yeah, for sure. Definitely is going to be looking forward to it. But yeah, I just want to jump up and say hello real fast. And connected for the vendor information in case you guys know someone
or you want to pass it on. But this is, you know, considering what it costs to get involved
or have, you know, even have a booth at some of these other national hemp events, you know, even have a booth at some of these other, um, national hemp events, you know,
most of them are, you're looking at a thousand and up just to get your brand represented, um,
or participate. And then you've got to pay for hotel and parking and da, da, da. So, uh, and food,
right. So food is included in the VIP tickets for this event, which is huge.
So, yeah, I just wanted to make sure I pointed that out.
And let me see.
Gosh, it takes so much longer when you're trying to man the mic and the back end. But nonetheless, I will share the link in the purple pill.
And I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
If you're listening to this on the rerecord, check out TexasHempStock.com and find all the ways.
There's so many different ways to get involved.
You can sponsor.
You can be a media partner.
Depending on what business or brand you have, Find where you fit in and get in.
But thanks everyone for listening
and have a wonderful afternoon. Thank you.
