Thank you. Good morning, folks. We'll get started in a few minutes here.
Hope you're having a happy Wednesday.
I got a couple things that I'll go through and then uh i'll turn it over um to
you all who are building you want to share some updates with your projects um let's go from there
so hang tight we'll get started in a few minutes Thank you. Thank you. All right, good morning, everybody. Let's go ahead and get this started. I hope you're
having a happy Wax Wednesday. It's been a little, about two weeks since the last space.
I think we hosted NF Topia right before the big event, and that was a lot of fun. So today
is going to be just another chill space. We'll hang out as long as you want um i'll be opening up the floor a little
bit later for projects or project uh designers and representatives who want to share provide
an update on what they've been working on lately um you get the word out um so let's start at the
start right this week had some excitement with the changes to the wallet.
If you can catch the memo up here in Discord, the social media sign-ins, some of them are going to be going away soon on WaxCloud Wallet.
If you're using Google, Apple, or email login, those will be the ones that remain.
This should be changing. We'll be pushing an update
tonight, right? So what you can expect to see tonight will be some of the bugs that we saw
yesterday removed. Pop-ups will be removable that you saw. There's a couple errors I saw with
turnstile that should be gone. And then when you're
logged in, you shouldn't be seen. The password change automatically. The claim your account
window shouldn't be showing up. That was for something else. And the message should remain
that social logins are going away soon. So the last date for your social logins is going to be
right now that I've seen is September 30th. So the end of September, that's going away. So
I would suggest and recommend to convert your account from social
media to Google, Apple, or email. I like email. Personally, I like the email and password for me.
It's a bit easier. But that's what I would recommend. If you're stuck or something isn't
working right, please reach out in the WAX Discord support channel and we'll help you out. If you're seeing
after this, if you see a multiple emails linked error, I need you to reach out and tag Robert.
He will be able to help solve those for you. All right. All right. Okay. And then also there was a
lot of talk yesterday about what types of support that Wax provides or makes available to smaller
projects, smaller creators in the ecosystem
so i did want to touch on that today i did just drop all of the links in discord you can check it
there i've pinned it as well a lot of this stuff has been posted in discord before but we'll just
go over it really quick just kind of high level um the first one project rep role that's a rep
role in the discord it gives you a different colored name it also gives access to a project
project rep channel um and allows you to post in a few It also gives access to a project rep channel
and allows you to post in a few different channels
The main one that I personally like is the community blog.
These are blogs that you see published from time to time
They are curated, so it's not a smart contract.
You don't submit and it gets posted up.
edited either for content not a lot of content um but for um readability uh some blogs are look
some blogs i've seen are a little bit ai sorry excuse me some blogs are very ai written some
blogs are very short some blogs are way too long so some of them get edited down um
are way too long so some of them get edited down what was first so yes we I
said we curate was posted there if it's like a I said all that cool when we
publish those we also post in discord and tag everybody in the server and
those also go out on our Twitter account as well so if you've seen
projects that post hey what's this how do do that? That's how they're getting in those spaces.
Third one, if you are a project that's looking for a funding request or has like a lot of
very difficult bells and whistles, most likely you're going to want to make a WaxLabs proposal.
WaxLabs proposals are going to be your avenue if you want anything that needs to be funded.
If you're asking for money, I'm going
to point you at Wax Labs. I'll put it that way. And then finally, the dev portal has all of our
SDKs, all of our new updates, instructions, examples, and stuff for people who want to
develop on Wax. And if you don't know what that means, you don't know what you're doing,
you can reach out to me and I'm going to point you to the dev portal again.
If you've already been there, I'm also going to point you out to the we have a dev channel in the discord itself where people hang out.
And then we also have there's a couple of telegrams I would recommend.
There's a dev, a wax dev telegram where the devs congregate on telegram, as well as the governance telegram that's run by the OIGs.
A lot of the guilds are in there.
When I'm thinking of a knowledgeable group
of developers or people who know
That's why I would recommend those.
We also do offer an occasion
but I would not offer any of that unless there's at least a community blog.
So when people reach out asking for help, Tommy, what do I do?
I'm going to tell you to do a community blog.
That's what I'm going to tell you first.
So, yeah, that's what I would recommend there.
We had a WorkKit update for MyCloud Wallet, which should allow you to, as I understand it, connect your
DAP directly to the wallet. And I think it's for the mobile wallet too. Don't quote me. But these,
if they're not ready now, are coming soon. All right. I think that's what I got for there.
Let me see what else I wanted to share right before I hand it over.
share right before I hand it over. I have this posted right here. All right. Let's talk about
WaxHub. WaxHub is, WaxHub's healing, right? If you saw that, if you haven't seen the announcement
I posted in there, it is coming back. It's healing a little bit slow. It's not fully back 100% yet.
So you haven't seen a lot of big, a big push for
me announcing that it's open for business, right? Where are we right now? I have almost everything
in place that will allow for everyone who works during the downtime to submit your work. The CMC
comments have just got looked at. It's just getting reviewed.
The only one that needs to be added will be brawlers
and that should be coming out either after this call tonight
or that one will be added the day after tomorrow.
So if you've been participating in projects
that we didn't have a way for you to submit them yet,
everything is available on Waxlub now to submit
However, the data of which groups you're
in, if you've earned a badge, bronze, silver, gold, diamond, that didn't translate over. What I need
you to do is come into the discord, fill out the form that lets just give me your username and your
wallet address, and I'll look up your wallet and then I'll add your roles on the new platform.
This platform requires that for you to see different campaigns to click a
I think it's a community down to gold,
bronze to see the different tasks you're in.
So tasks that are gated behind having a badge,
you need a badge for a task.
That's how you'll find it.
come into the wax of discord and drop a question and support channel.
And I will help you out all right i think that's all that i've got uh mickey miggy i really i looked at
our dm last night i realized i left you on red after you reached out um also i'll reach out again
to you later but yeah if you've got anything um you want to ask about being ambassador, by all means, come on up.
But for now, I'll open the floor up to everyone here.
If anyone wants to request and talk about what they've got going on with their building on WAPS, I'd love to hear from you.
there's one other thing i did want to mention that i saw which is not related to me so much
it's more for uh i saw that they're doing a huge wax tournament as well next month so that would be
something you might want to check out um i don't think they're in here right now um but um you all know since i bullrog and catch
him on kick uh streaming the game and uh hanging out right there so
so yeah i think that's i think that that'll be one that's kind of fun i know if you've ever seen
this guy um stream but even when we had him on as a guest for our spaces,
it was high, high energy.
Maybe not as wild as Breakman,
but it's definitely a high energy.
So it was definitely something cool to see.
Hey, Ghost Cam, Ghost Cam, Christia,
I say I accepted the request if you sent it.
Let me open the floor to Ms. Ghostcam.
How the heck are you, Ghost?
let's call it the high tide season
so I'm getting some sleep and stuff.
Yeah, I wanted to getting some sleep and stuff so it's actually nice um yeah i wanted um to
uh say a few words about the aneptopia that we had like shortly i totally think christia will
come up and like have the drums and the pompons and the balloons and everything. I mean, she rocked that thing.
She was around like 24-7 and everywhere. And Waffles was the same, the same also for Soul of the Cat.
And Maxi, it was actually crazy that so many people were around to help all the time and that so many people came to hang out there. It's still a sign that people want to work together and want
to connect. So I think this is a positive thing. And I just wanted to mention it because it sounded
a tiny bit cringy the last days. People are always very easy with being upset and pointing out things and being
angry, but we have to focus on the good stuff and the positive things because shit happens anyways.
So whatever breaks can be repaired, whatever was lost can be found again. Most things can be
recovered in life if we work together. So
I really wanted to point out that I think this is a really, really good thing and that it is
amazing that so many people worked so hard to make that happen. And yeah, I wanted to give a
shout out to all the ladies who did all of this and all the guys and like like breakman i don't know if he slept at all of that
weekend but yeah it was crazy it was cool i really enjoyed it this time so it would be nice to see
a bit more of that maybe this is the thing that could be taken into account as like a call-up i
mean i know it's a private thing i I know it's a WAX Labs funded
thing, but maybe we can use that a bit more to whatever, provide maybe one internal thing once
a year or like give people the opportunity to attend there and like talk to you guys directly.
I always have the feeling that they enjoy the spaces with Tommy a lot
for having the opportunity to put out their questions and to show off the things they are
working on. So I really think community is still the strength of WEX. And I really think we should
emphasize, I'm sorry, on that. I'm talking for like Fiat all day long. So sometimes I feel like
I have a mouthful of bubblegum. I'm sorry. So yeah, just focus on the good things. And I really
hope Chris Taya is coming up. You know, I think that Anaftopia is such a, I think I've said it before, it's like, you know, you used the words Herculean effort from everyone involved.
And I thought it was really, I enjoyed having, you know, in past ones, it's been like super, super focused on Wax.
And this one was also like included Hive, and I thought it was a nice blend.
also included Hive, and I thought it was a nice blend.
I think that Eneptopia is a great way to really kind of showcase
a lot of what is on wax that you don't see every day, if that makes sense.
There were a few booths and projects that were there that I had not heard about that were on wax.
And that's, I think, one of the things i like about
inftopia is you get to see um a different like a different page out of the wax community community
book right because there's there's the groups like everybody has their has their groups or their
cliques i think sometimes that they fall into or they like like hanging out you make friends and
you like the people that are around you i get that too too, for sure. And I also, I love, sorry, I don't like that when, if you get used or comfortable to hanging
out with some folks, you don't always see everything that's new.
And I think that Aneptopia is such a great place for you to be able to go, meet, do new
things and hang out with people that you've been, I want to say like our colleagues that we work with together.
Cause a lot of us work together in some way, shape or form,
whether it's just to keep, keep the wheels rolling, keep,
keep food in the belly and just doing stuff to help each other out,
whether it's advice, pointing in directions, providing tools,
showing tools and just sharing experiences.
And I think Aneptopia encapsulates that perfectly.
I didn't even get to spend as much time
due to things happening in real life that weekend.
I had a lot of fun on the panel.
It was fun to have the panel with Pega and Breakman
as well as the Detroit Ledger team.
So it was, I thought it was good.
It was a good mix um of personalities
a good mix of expertise as well so if you have not checked out um anftopia if you missed it
if you missed the after party um don't fret you can still check out the booths um anftopia.weebly.com
should still be up and you can check it out right there oh shit the after party i scammed waffles for the
dance oh shit oh god i'm sorry oh man yeah so very cool it looks like i think your style is trying
to rejoin because good old x is being good old x it It wouldn't be an Elon product if it would work.
I bragged to her this morning,
stating that I would be hosting today's space on my computer for the first time.
Yes, and that's why we don't have music.
Because I was told not to play music if I'm on my phone, is what I was told. I got a lot of feedback. I got feedback from that. That was a bad idea. So I won't be doing that. I learned my lesson. I won't do that one again.
okay i really liked um i think we'll see when she's switching is it working i think i see a Hey, Cristina. Welcome. Can you hear me well?
I was having some real issues to connect.
It was giving me some errors about can request to speak, please rejoin, you know, the usual.
So how have you guys been? It's been a really crazy week and yeah and
Neftopia hangover is still on my mind. I still have hangover but it was a really
really fun event and I think it was come because I think we make this event for the community.
And know that you are also part of the community and also part of our staff.
But it's really nice to see and hear that you enjoy the event, that you're having a blast,
that you're having a blast and that the event is like it was was supposed to be
that we wanted to make for the community something really cool something in
something that they remember that they enjoy I I was having a blast because I saw a lot of people that we know that they are in the community,
but they don't hang out as much as they used to be.
And see all those people come back for this event to join us to enjoy and celebrate the community, celebrate all the projects,
and see all the work that we really put. Because this was like months and months of
planning, schedule, design, marketing. Even if you only see the event, I was 16, 17, and of course our after party,
there was so much more work behind all those doors. So much effort from all the people for
our outing, and yeah, and of course Breckman didn't sleep for months he's been sleeping these past days and
he's recovering so that's why we don't have our wasp drop space today and we are not gonna have
it into October because he's resting and I think after 18 months, 18 months of making the last drug calendar,
it's a space every week for three hours.
I think he deserves a little vacation.
More than a little vacation.
Yeah, like you said, 18 months.
Every week, not once a month,
every week for three to four hours. And that's
just the space. That's not counting
the hour ahead of time when Breakman
is streaming or the hour after
when he's doing giveaways and stuff too.
It's a lot of work. And it's more work
because he has to make the
really grateful for our team because
helps each other and we had to make the list he has to make the space they had to make the
marketing like share on our ads telling the people making the banners i share all my all
all the stuff on telegram as well and remind them because we have a community on Discord,
we have a community on ads,
we have a community on Telegram,
and not everyone uses all the social media.
So we had to spread the word.
And also when we had guests in the last few months,
we wanted to make more open, not just watch.
So we were inviting guests from other chains and
that's emails that you have to make that's a dmas that you have to connect and networking with
people to get uh guests to to come up and share it we got amazing guesses and people that we met and for email that
brahman bring and from all the chains that base app exchange and we are there are so many layers
at the moment that i don't know i got crazy but it's been really fun and it's really, I'm really happy that how they've been come up, that people have fun.
And of course, this work is really hard, but it doesn't get hard if you are doing what you love, what you enjoy.
So you're just having fun.
I think that's a good thing that you call out, Chris, that if it's fun, it's not as much of,
it might not feel like, I'll say this, if you're having fun, it might not feel like a job,
but it absolutely was hard work, I think. I think you guys worked so hard. For someone who does,
who is, ironically, right, because I'm about to say this, for someone who doesn't like to talk,
public speak, or do any of that kind of stuff stuff i know how much anxiety you can get sometimes when
you're having to reach out or cold reach out or cold dm or cold email um people to who want to um
usually want to invite or do stuff like that um i know it's tough it's a lot of work yeah it's a
lot of work and sometimes you you don't have the answer that you want to.
People, of course, everyone has their own stuff, their plans. And maybe the schedule,
it doesn't align with what you wanted to do this week. So you had to have a backup.
And other stuff are involved in produce,, produce event, it's a space. Everything is a lot
of planning and takes a lot of effort to make but if you love what you do it's really cool so
and we are really grateful that we got that WASLAB funding because this is the only first edition that I was funding.
The other ones were ours, making our own work, our own ours because we wanted to make the event.
So it's been amazing months. And yeah, we look forward to make more events,
maybe not as big or maybe yes, but keep working for the community is a main priority for us.
And we're still here and working. Yeah, I think it's, yeah,
because you're so very dedicated, I think.
The dedication shows, absolutely.
I think it shows through completely.
Yeah, I think it would be cool to see,
like, I don't know, like almost like a,
because this event is so big if there's like
many events too i'm thinking of like a global gaming tournament so i'm just stop i'm gonna
stop my thought of thought right there because i'm already exploding this beyond like my wild
ideas so yeah i think it's cool and i like the idea like i want i wish that our Wet Tree community, not Watt, because we had this event and I know the Watt community loved the Metaverse Convention,
but I wish that other change, other projects, see what the good thing to make a make a metaverse event because um for example we had this amazing tool that can
be used for everyone and not only time we had like some people and things that metaverse events are
not as cool like it's something old like something 2021 um And I think it's an amazing tool,
this underwriting that people doesn't really know
And I think that we should keep working
to prove all those people that they run,
that in other aspects that they can,
Metaverse convention can be really easy,
can be a fun, can be a really important event
as much as a live in real life convention.
Yeah, I think sometimes when it was obviously like they look at the metaverse and
think 2021 we're all locked up in our rooms nobody could go outside right so we have to stay locked
down the idea of being able to communicate or reach out on our computers um was great and so
useful and it was really loved but when everything goes back up everyone wants to go back to normalcy i think one of the biggest strengths
um of uh convention like aneptopia is um while it's in it's in the metaverse but it's everyone
can join it's it's there's not going to be a barrier uh to travel um to an event you're not
going to be a barrier of having maybe you don't like getting on a plane i know people who will not fly who only go places that they can drive to because they don't want to
get on for example if you don't have passport and if you don't have the visa for that country
and even if you don't have the money to pay uh airplane, all the expenses that you have to make.
And for example, I know that NET on October is a token 49 convention and it's on Singapore.
So how can I go to Singapore?
So how can I go to Singapore?
Yeah, no, that's one that I would have to definitely participate from as a passive watcher on Twitch or reading tweets for sure.
Yeah, that's a big, it's hard too, especially when you have a family, right?
You're not going to, it's easy, right?
When we were, well, when I was young, because you're still young, when I was young, it was a lot easier to go out and do stuff.
It was a lot easier to just go out and do stuff.
But yeah, now it's responsibilities.
You can't just up and leave the kids for that for a weekend.
So yeah, I think it's so great what you can do with it and the different halls.
And I just, I would love to, I love seeing it grow. I love seeing it grow and the different halls and i just i would love i would
love to i love seeing it grow i love seeing it grow and i'm excited as i'm watching it
someone says that you can even they was really fun if you use your oculus and see that in brial
and i was like oh i had to that. Like the boot looks really big.
Like you are really small and you can see in really big.
The boot is nothing like see that on the Explorer.
So I was kind of curious.
I might try to check that in our next event.
Yeah, that sounds super cool. Like if you're all you set up a treadmill you've
got almost the entire experience you know save getting sick um going to a convention you've got
everything everywhere you look you're everything there's something to look at um i mean byron was
drawing i think i think ghost i think did you you did drawing as well that was like a really
nice touch because he was close to to the door to go to a patio and everyone that walks that right
there saw him and making his driving and that was like really amazing like he caught people
like really amazing like he caught people in people asking stuff and that that was really cool
and i think it's really cool like when you have something like that like if you have
like if you have byron and ghost him both doing art like at the same time um it's like well where
are you gonna go you gotta you gotta pick one maybe maybe you crackle maybe you've got a second
avatar if it's a computer you got a got a second screen. You can watch both.
Are you supporting multi-accounting?
No, I am not supporting multi-accounting.
Except when I helped them.
Unless it's going to let me watch two cool artists do something at the same time, yeah, then I'll support multi-accounting.
But not multi-wallets. It'll be the same wallet i'm not there's no there's no double dipping right it's disclaimer personal opinion thank you thank you not financial advice
right yes we are not getting any financial advice i see that we have recommend there
recommend that i'm about to say that too what up
i hope you're well break man yeah if you're building anyone yeah of course anyone who's
who's got who's working on something in wax right now um can request the mic and come on up um and
we'll keep going for a little while more but yeah i think um i really i want to expand more about
like because endotopia is there's so
much you can do there's so many different things you can see the one thing i didn't expect was
someone was there teaching kind of teaching how to read charts and teaching trading and stuff that
i would have never i would have never expected that for myself because i would have never thought
to be like oh i want this is something i could learn this is something i know i could be something
that i could do i would never uh put myself in that class but i was sitting there
listening i'm like this okay it's starting to make it's kind of starting to make sense i just
if you apply yourself you get it right yeah like training stay away from that
yeah only only put up what you can afford to lose is what my advice you know if you don't know
it's gonna be like you can lose everything but even if you do know it's still like a casino
sometimes so you know what what is really a casino the future you have you ever been levering with a future account
no i don't i don't know how to do any of that i can barely trade anything i can trade
wax i can convert my wax into one other token on aqua that's about as far as i get
yeah it's risky i used to do that it was cool but risky
absolutely all right uh but we have byron on the stage byron welcome how are you hey tommy gmgm
doing good how are you hi i'm doing all right
we're just going to you and uh sorry there one invite you up um you want to share what's going
on with the horde sure thanks uh lots of things going on with the horde uh lately uh last week we started
the horde catacombs apprenticeship levels it's like a month-long uh burn event so that you can
go through and uh man it's on the website but it's basically it's an event where you
are basically working eight hours a day by burning one nft one old low value byron art set one nft
one every hour for eight hours a day.
Going with the whole proof of work kind of thing.
So every time you burn one, you get a coin.
When you get eight coins, you get a stamp that kind of shows that you did the work for the day.
And then as you get stamps, you also get rewards.
Like yesterday was the daily free taco.
And today is the wax midweek perk where you get a pack that has one
artwork and one puzzle piece so you gotta kind of keep going through the catacombs to get all the
stuff so it's really cool it's encouraging people to burn and explore wax a little bit more
starting to free up a little bit around so it can make new activities for collectors. And the really nice thing is it's kind of like free, right?
There's a one-time fee of 66.6 WACs to get the NTT, the non-transferable token.
And when you have that, then you've got access to everything else.
Without that, you've got nothing.
So that's like the only major expense to start, which isn't too much, under $2.
And then you have to burn those assets.
So you've got to keep sweeping the floor kind of encouraging what i've learned on other blockchains where it's all
about sweeping floors and you know continuously getting people to do something everyone's bored
so this gives something people to do um the newest activity though is is on twitch now i yesterday i
put together this fun little pack called Skullsays Cheese.
So yeah, it's a pack called Skullsays Cheese.
And it's a free pack that anybody can get if they're watching me when I'm live streaming on Twitch,
which I just recently finished an hour and a half episode of.
And by watching me on Twitch, I have the ScurvyBot active, so you get points for digging.
get these free packs, and in each pack is either nothing, because that's funny, or there's one, two,
or three different NFTs, three different parts for the puzzle. It's a 20-part puzzle event. So,
the Horde is trying to do things to give people something to do for free, or very, very low cost.
We give a lot of stuff away in our Discord and again, like on the Twitch streams.
And that really helps those that are in the catacombs
It gives them something they can burn for free as well, right?
So all about free and it just keeps kind of coming back,
coming back, coming back.
It's like a circular economy.
I make something more for you to get for free
and then you take that and you burn it,
and then you get something else and you burn it. It's a continuous
little cycle, and it's a lot of fun. I'm enjoying
myself anyways. People say they're having
a good time too, so wins all
around. And again, we can only do it on
wax, so praise wax. Let's go.
That's my rant. Thanks for having me.
not a rant. Definitely a good show.
Thanks, Byron. Yeah, I was going to ask you, what do you find the no not definitely not a rant definitely definitely a good show thanks byron yeah i was gonna ask like
what's what i was gonna ask you like what do you find the um you're saying that you took some of
the stuff you learned from other chains what do you see about the uh the facets of the hoard on
that you've met on other chains do they are they participating in this as well or do you have
something set up um different for them no i basically what i try to do is if other people
are collecting my work on other chains and they come to WAX and I try to like help set them up I set up a few
people that way kind of onboarding them onto WAX showing them how it's different
than than like Ethereum or any of the other ones I've built on right because
they're all about gas fees where WAX is about the CPU and RAM so I try to
explain that and send them links and then get them hooked up and they start
having fun as well like they they find a lot of my artwork is really, really affordable on the wax blockchain compared
to some of the other blockchains that I'm on because those other blockchains is all one-on-ones,
right? Whereas on wax it's additions and there's, there's lots, there's so much that you can do on
wax. It's like, it's ridiculous. But the thing I learned on the on the other blockchains is all about like people are all about the floor price
right they're all about trying to flip and trying to trying to make a coin and
usually what happens the best way for the collection the collect doors is if
they get the free they get the free mint and then they go and flip them right the
same thing with wax people love free stuff and then they go and flip them, right? The same thing with wax. People love free stuff.
And it's what's really helping to drive things forward is it's giving the way free and then giving them a reason to take those NFTs and burn them to get something even more exclusive.
And then if they don't have all the parts, they have to go to secondary and buy that part there.
So the guy that got the part for free can sell it to the other guy that needs that part, right?
So now they've taken something for free and made a buck off it or you know 60 cents or whatever it is
so it's a cool way to to help people earn because on other blockchains you can't really do it the
same way right you can't can't let anyone burn up your old assets to get something new and more
exclusive that they can later on sell um i don't think i answered your question quite right but
learned on the other blockchains is it's all money driven. That's the utility. People want money,
but they're all complaining that they're bored because there's nothing fun going on because they
relate money to being like fun equals more money. Where on WAX, it's like, we know we don't have a
lot of money here, so let's just concentrate on the fun and the money will eventually show up.
I'm trying to live my life that way.
I think that's a good way to go.
You did answer my question pretty well, too.
So don't think it didn't.
And, yeah, that Twitch integration is really cool too i like it
to be more interactive with the collectors and uh i'm really enjoying that feature and the whole uh
nft opio was a nice experience because i could sit in that booth and draw through twitch and then
talk to people in the event because of the booth so hats off to consumer break and christella and
the whole gang that put that together was awesome. Best one yet.
Thank you very much, Byron.
I know Chris Gile is staying up there. I'm sure I'll say thank you from Consumer Break because he can't talk.
But I know he's listening right down there.
We love you, Consumer Break.
It was a hell of a weekend.
It was a hell of a weekend.
It really was. I had so much fun but yeah so the anyone that wants to get a lot of free nfts with my art and try to get
you know those limited edition uh full-size pictures and whatever join the hordes discord
and we'll set you up with the fun because there's so many ways to earn and yeah yep yep yep i'm out of here i'm time to
eat thanks again for having me brian i appreciate i was i was gonna ask you if you don't leave yet
um you said you said scurvy bot um how as someone i've mentioned i know you've mentioned before
that's difficult for you like you're great at art as much as everything else was it difficult was it
hard for you to set up scurvy bot as an artist no it was super easy uh
there's a um it's kind of i don't even know how i set it up it was so simple i think you just
invite the bot to your your um your twitch account and set it as a mod but if you're not if you're
having issues dan asker is the man to ask is he you know he created he comes into those people's
uh twitch accounts all the time to chat with them,
see if they're having problems.
So really good support there.
And it's like really easily connected to your wax, everything.
Like you go to deposit your assets in there and it's simple to set up.
You can set up, like I used to have a no fail dig, but I set it up so that you only have a 66.6% chance of being
successful unless you have like boost diggers or dig boosters I mean so Dan
Asker the creator of the bot got the first empty dig you dug up an empty hole
but typically you know like it's really easy to set up really easy to add assets
it uses the Atomic Hub platform for adding assets so it's easy to select
Everything is easy peasy.
Wax makes it easy and Dan did a great job.
Yeah, hats off and kudos to Dan Asker.
He's definitely a hard worker and building cool shit, right?
I think that's something that almost everybody,
almost every streamer I look at has something on ScurvyBot.
He also did a really good Wax Portal Bot, I believe it's called, for the discords. And it works similar, where you can set up easy giveaways and it automatically transfers the NFT from your account or from the bot account into the winner's account.
So there's nothing else you have to do other than load up the prize pool.
Really cool little feature
that we use all the time in our Discord.
that I don't think gets shouted out as much or as often.
I think a lot of people opt to Honeycomb first
because it's been around longer,
but I think Waxplot has a lot of cool stuff to offer.
Yeah, and the gatekeeping and the one-time fee
Seth sold me. Our whole Discord is now just
I don't want to keep you from dinner.
Alright, man. Thanks again. Cheers.
Always a pleasure. Cheers.
Ghostcam, correct me if I'm wrong wrong but i think that there's there's news coming from the wax waifus
collection as well soon um am i correct
am i correct um yeah i drew the um acca piece um it's named after our waifu tree
to be grown and cared for
on stream on the NFTopia.
That's right. So when people came in,
they were facing Byron and when they were
leaving, they were facing me.
Although I did that creepy
head into the wrong direction
bullshit again. I really don't know what it is.
It is in every Aneptopia thing since there are human avatars.
Mine is always looking into the wrong direction as soon as I sit down.
And it's actually a bit funny because it's really doing it every time.
doing it every time. Besides that, I created a rumble piece that you can blend when you
won our rumble often enough to have a complete set of stickers. They aren't burned. They go
back to the wallet where the rumble stickers come from. So if you win a second set, you can
do a second blend. You don't have to burn them people were very very hesitant about burning them
and um this week we finally dropped our tier five of our pfps i am like as i said back then i'm
decreasing the amount of pfps dropped each time so this time we have 200 of three girls each, like every time it's a different
posture each and all of them have basically the same traits but they are all combined differently
because they just look different. This time I decided for a 50s theme. I'm very proud of the
that I made and the music.
It's always fun to do that.
animation and listen to the music.
I received a lot of good feedback
already. The drop started 45
minutes ago and people really enjoy that like fallout waifu diner 50s diamond theme.
That was really fun to make.
I listened to people what they really enjoyed about the collection or which assets they absolutely didn't like or which they really prefer to collect and try to adjust that.
So to be honest, I redrew this tier three times completely.
It was completely different when I did it the first time.
Then I talked to Seth and we decided to do a call up.
And this means keeping my collection a bit farther away from the 18 plus line.
So I redesigned the tier completely.
And then people told me that they really would like to have purses.
So I included them and then everything didn't look right anymore.
And I changed the overall theme
to the 50s and because of that everything had to look different then I mean you need
a completely different hairstyle I never would take the time to roll my hair like
15 hours a day just to look like that. But it actually looks pretty cool. So I understand why people wanted it.
And yeah, I really like how they turned out to be honest.
It was quite a struggle to do that this time.
And I want to address this since it's also like technical motivated space thingy stuff, whatever.
like technical motivated space thingy stuff, whatever.
I used to use chain champs to do the PFPs
because I just found the generator there, the most comfortable one.
And then this one went down and now the one of NFT Hive doesn't work anymore.
So in the end, I used an external generator
that was built for a completely
different chain and uploaded all the metadata and pictures by hand. So in the end, I was like,
I'm not doing that anymore. I hate this shit. I'm not doing this anymore. Like, nobody wants them.
Nobody cares for them. Whatever. i don't want to do this anymore
then i tried to build the app i was aiming for since a long time i mean people who are part of
lakes waifus since like two years know about it and we've had quite of the work done already
and then yeah life happened to some people and like my my did poof, like many devs do, but he has a good reason to do poof.
So I'm not angry or anything.
But yeah, this thing was like, yeah, great.
Now you put in like three months of seven hours of work every day and it was all for nothing.
So yeah, I really don't want to do this anymore.
And now this thing with the PFPs. So
I actually admit I reached a point this year, earlier this year, when I was like, I can't do
this anymore. I'm not able to provide what people want in the way they want, in the schedule they
want. I'm messing everything up up and at some point i just realized
that stopping to work on things doesn't make them happen faster so um i tried it again and i did it
with nft hive and i was nearly done and i see piga down there or pixel journey and and i know that
piga did a massive thing with that NFT hive thing. Like nobody knows better
how these layer systems work and or worked and how this all interacted with each other and what
were the requirements for adding things and stuff than him. And I was like, I was seeing the finish
line and then that thing disappears. And this was a day of like, seriously, for the first time in over 15 years, I considered getting drunk.
I didn't. But in the end, I just decided, OK, I have to find another way.
So there are tools out there. If any one of you is stuck because of that, just contact me.
I can show you a workaround it is
not an easy one you have to put in a bit of work i mean it's also my fault because every waifu
like every posture is a different girl and they are one template so all the single things have
to be in that template and that is something that the bulk uploading tool
of NFT Hive can't provide. It is creating a new template each time, which is what I didn't want
for whatever reason. But now I don't want to change the system anymore because we are like
half through with the PFPs. And if any one of you needs help for that, just let me know and I'll walk you through it or just like point you out to the solution and you can walk yourself through it.
It's pretty easy. I would recommend having a wallet that is connected to any other blockchain like Polygon, ApeChain, BASE, whatever.
It doesn't matter because you might need one to get access to the
tools on that site, but it's completely free. You can use it for free. Not anything I did there
was costing any transaction fees or whatever, because you are actually not minting them.
You're just downloading the metadata as JSON files, so you'll get a bunch of JSON files,
and you're getting your images as webpages you can upload them to IPFS. So you will get a bunch of JSON files and you're getting your images as webpages.
You can upload them to IPFS.
So you're not completely helpless.
It just requires a bit more work.
Let me know if you need assistance.
I think that's really important.
I think it's important to call
that out um too when something's going away if you have a workaround too i thank you for letting
me know um i definitely will keep that in mind if anyone reaches out to me about that kind of stuff
thank you i mean maybe it's it's just like i'm too stupid to find it i totally don't want to
exclude that people who know me know I'm like
confusion with glasses and a hat. But actually, if you really need help, don't give up. Just
ask me. I can at least reach out to people who might help. I mean, that PFP thing is a thing
that I'm doing for years. I didn't only do it on WEX. I did it on other blockchains too,
I didn't only do it on WEX, I did it on other blockchains too, with my name on it or as a ghost artist, pun not intended.
But if you need help, just let me know.
I mean, if we can do anything on WEX, then it is supporting each other.
That was the thing we always did best.
Thank you, Ghostcam. well said thank you ghost cam all righty if anybody else wants to raise their hand and share
what they're working on this week go ahead and do so um otherwise i think uh i think we've we've hit
it i'll give a moment for anyone who wants to speak to go ahead and come on up.
I just want to say one thing.
I wanted to try to do a wax Wednesday takeover of breakman space,
which happens usually after this event, but the timing wasn't quite right.
So I'm going to try to do that for next week and try to keep the party going
I'll get the Horde Central Twitter account to do a spaces and a live stream from Twitch and talk to people in the X spaces.
Next week, Horde Takeover.
Next week, Labor Day week, September 3rd, Horde Takeover.
We got a few folks who raised their hand Let me be the first to say
Welcome, I see you awakened from your slumber
Oh, good old Elon but you might be muted.
Hey, this is different, huh?
Well, I appreciate everybody that's saying good stuff about it.
I had a good time, too, y'all.
But also I need a little break.
So I appreciate everybody's patience.
And we'll be back with more spaces at a stream in October.
I have been sleeping more lately.
So that part, that's awesome.
immediately the week after like Byron's takeover for an artist space just saying
yeah I was just gonna bring up that Byron mentioned to me in DM that he might
want to start spaces and I didn't hear you mention it so I came up to mention
it now you did but yeah let's let's raid byron space next week that sounds
awesome that sounds fun i'm all in sounds great uh yeah i'm gonna take it easier over the next
weeks i i'm gonna work my my job a little bit i'm gonna uh brainstorm myself what comes next and whatnot i am processing all these uh giveaways and and
uh from nftopia so it it's uh the time is up to enter no more entering but here uh in the next
few days we'll be announcing all the winners and sending out all the goodies so stay tuned for that
all the goodies so stay tuned for that and thanks again for participating we
had a lot of people do the achievement badges so if you check out and scroll
the the hashtag and if Toby of five you could probably keep scrolling forever
because it just keeps going forever it doesn't stop there's there's no end so
that is super awesome and thanks to everyone for doing that. It was trending both days during the event.
That's about all that's going on here, I guess.
It's good to hear you, hear your voice and hear from you
because I know I don't bring the energy like you to break, man.
So it's great to have you here thanks for joining us here i think it's exciting that uh we're gonna be doing a little raid takeover with byron next week very cool
all right um deep man send a dm to tommy about your wax project and i'll bring you up um next
to Tommy about your wax project and I'll bring you up.
And then after we hear the Claretarion,
a unique name on Vangstream, but I won't say it here.
Pixel Journey Zumpiga, welcome.
It's always good to hear from you.
GMTM, Happy Wax Wednesday, everybody.
So from the Pixel Journey front,
we still have our Bounty Blocks contest, and I would
recommend absolutely everybody to get in there. Currently we seem to have 76 participants, and we are basically about to distribute 200 primary pixel ingredients.
So there's a very high chance to get a pixel ingredient, or perhaps even more than once.
One, if you participate in this BouncyBlock contest, that only requires you to have a
Absolutely everybody can do it.
I think that is the most important fact I quickly wanted to throw up here in the weekly space,
but aside from that, it's always a good time to grab a PixelPFP if you don't have one already, or do your own research and explore
a little bit more about everything that the Pixel Journey has to offer because there's quite a lot.
And there's always more to explore both within WEX and all of Web3, so get in there. Turn the journey all day already.
I don't know of anyone that I've seen posting, sharing, and spreading the word more than you. So my hats off to you.
Whenever I see, whenever I'm doing something new for the first time, I almost always see you there before me.
So hats off to you, Journey.
We are ready to do our absolute best,
and we will continue to do so.
So thank you for the opportunity to be here as well tonight,
and I hope you all have a great Wednesday evening or night.
All right, let's hear from the Claretarion.
I can't see the whole name.
I was just popping on what's becoming my usual Wednesday thing.
Just popping on, tell you guys to grab some tickets.
Tickets are on sale now for the lotto this week.
Our guest to honor is Outlaw Troopers this week.
We're celebrating the start of their season.
They started, what was it?
Yeah, season started yesterday.
Make sure you guys are checking that out.
They just added a whole bunch of new stuff this season.
We're going to have a live draw on Sunday.
I'm streaming in about an hour.
If you guys want to check that out, we'll be doing tides.
We got fishing for tickets.
What time are you usually streaming?
On Twitch, yeah. On Twitch, the
live draw is usually on Sundays
on the Tides train on Wednesdays.
that was a little bit harder to convert. It's
2 o'clock Central. I know my time. And then we do more sake and Fridays at, uh, 9am central on Fridays.
Solid. At 9am central. And that's, that's early.
that's actually my night time
I actually work nights for my
so that's actually I come home and
that's a good Friday for me
I just chill out on stream
have a good time with everybody
it's a good way to start the weekend
nice it's a good way to start the weekend I think I'm having a dream nice
I'll see on stream alright folks we are about at an hour
already if you're up here on on stage and you'd like to share where's the best place to follow and get updates for your projects, let's go down the line really quick.
Piga, other than X, is there any great spots to follow your info and get updates?
Absolutely. You want to join the Pixel Journey Discord?
It's on Discord that everything happens, actually.
I mean, most of the journey and everything you want to be part of her is on Discord.
If you're missing out on the Pixel Journey Discord, you're missing out on all the alpha, all the latest updates,
and even being able to contribute or decide where the
journey might go next. So get in there.
Participate in the journey.
eating. What's up? Where to find me?
Well, honestly, the best way... I try to do
there's also the horde central which those interns are really slacking they haven't posted any updates
in a while so um best place to find all the information artistbyron.ca and then the discord
uh discord we're always chatting i'm always in there waiting to chat with someone else and
answer questions we got a lot of wax heads in there that are some OGs from years
ago, right? CryptoZoo, Trock, ProcLock,
they're all in there. AllieBear's in there.
We're all helpful, answer your questions,
That's where to find us. That's where to
do things in the Discord.
Breakdown, anything you want to leave us with
before you go back to arresting recovering you can follow the anathopia follow consumer break
follow on twitch we'll be back eventually no we're around we're out you can dm us shouts
Ghostcam, where are we going to see the drop or the...
The waifu release tonight.
And where can we follow you?
I edited it as an answer to that space.
And you will find it on lefty blocks as every time
it's just i'm an animal of habit basically you can always find me here on x you can find me on
discord i'm pretty active in crypto monkeys you see the wax waifus community there you always find me there so if you need me it's pretty easy to find
me i'm also pretty known meanwhile for never knowing where i am and just posting things and
then noticing that i'm in the wrong chat and stuff like that so it's not so hard to find me
um i'm usually streaming to discord because most people just have less problems with their country.
Let's call it like that to log in.
Sometimes they have problems to join Twitch and I had problems on the technical side for a while.
So I'm usually streaming to Discord.
And yeah, if you want to hang out, just join the Wex Waifus community.
You'll find a lot of nice people there. And, yeah, if you want to hang out, just join the Wex Waifus community.
You'll find a lot of nice people there.
There's an NFT to put the same for Crypto Monkeys.
So you can hang out and win free stuff.
And I want to share one more thing.
We took into other artists, Gus Red, who was working was working for honeys which was more or less a bit like a big community on ether and mrs paradox who i did a few call-ups in the past with
they want to like work more for wax waif. And I just shared the first thing that we will
do together, where you can actually see all three of us working on one piece. So I find that a
pretty cool thing. Or I think it really turned out super cool how each of us added their things
to that overall picture and how it became like one cool thing and maybe
we'll do a coloring contest for that one and then people can win some free packs or something
but if you want to get packs immediately i really suggest to just go to the drop section on
neftyblocks and you'll see the wax waifus there.
People really like the 50s style, that throwback thing.
Maybe you find something that you like.
And yeah, just thank you for having me, Byron.
I'm looking forward to annoying you next week. And yeah, thank you for hanging out with us.
Thank you so much, Ghostcam.
Well, thank you for having me, Tommy.
And I hope I can see everyone in the community
And I guess we will be next week on Byron's at the space.
Yeah, it sounds like it's going to be the place to be.
All right, and last but not least, the Claretarion,
what's the best place to follow you?
Most definitely, I'd say Discord,
and I forgot to mention earlier,
we share our Discord with Croutoons, as most people know, and I just want to earlier, we share our Discord with CrueTunes,
and I just want to give a shout out.
They're about to kick off the new season of Meta Explorers.
They just announced the season pass drop.
It's going to happen in two weeks,
so that'll be off and kicking in a couple weeks, so you definitely want to join the Discord.
All right, folks, that's going to be our show today
a quick couple of reminders that I have I'll leave you with
if you are interested in hanging out
and taking part in the community brawler events
that we have on the Toronto Discord
those are still kicking on
the next one will be Saturday morning at 9am
you can join the Discord now and register
and next week we'll be hanging out at 9 a.m. Pacific. You can join the Discord now and register.
And next week, we'll be hanging out, doing the Horde Takeover
with Byron, hanging out on Twitch, Twitch
probably both, because that's how you roll it.
I have noted down we'll probably be having our next women
of wax space so the next x space that i'll be having will be on the 10th um and you can
come in here to hear from women of wax um such as like goscan cristalia or ali bear i don't know
all of the uh i haven't guaranteed or even planned out the space yet um but those are the people
that we'll be hearing from if you're on wax streaming or creating as an artist um or otherwise you can reach out to me
in the uh wax sub discord and we'll add you to the group that's all i got i hope you all have
a good weekend hope you have a good week um if you're taking part of the if you're in america
having part of the holiday this weekend, hope you have a good one.
