My name is Matt Carano
I am the head of content
At Thrive Protocol
And I'm a crypto OG
I've been in the space a long time
I've seen a lot of things
First, you know
Fell in love with Bitcoin
When I read the white paper
A long time ago
It took a couple times
To really figure out
The implications
But once I did
I was like, oh man
This is the way
And the reason why
It so much affected me
Is that
It's liberty technology
That's really what matters
To me most
Is a future of human liberty
And Bitcoin really represented
That for me
And I started working
For a Bitcoin ATM company
For a while
And then eventually
Found myself in Web3
You know, I was very early on
I was in the ninth ever ICO
I was part of the
Parity Multisig Wallet hack
That stole 47,000 ETH
From Parity Multisig Wallet
That we were using
It was a big exploit then
So, and then, you know
Been working
Worked on some other
Like kind of OG crypto projects
Until I found myself with Thrive
And I
What happened was
So I was working for my last project
Until about December last year
Kind of got burned out
And took a few months off
But then
Through a mutual friend
Ran into the CEO of my company
Daniel Jacobs
Brilliant guy
Awesome guy
We hit it off
Talked for a few weeks
And was like
How does this
How can we sort of

And Thrive
Hadn't really marketed
Itself before
And I'll kind of explain
