Just a disaster.
Some of y'all be trying to make me take TGE.
This is fucking why.
Get the fuck out of my DMs.
I don't want to hear shit from you.
This is exactly why I don't take that shit.
Because you guys fuck it up.
You always fuck it up.
You always think this big KOL isn't going to dump on your chart and fuck your chart up.
When in reality, you shouldn't have gave them stables.
You should have made them stables you should have
made them work for their fucking tge but this is what happens this is what y'all do this is what
y'all do you you you let motherfuckers all up in your chart and they ruin it they fucking ruin it
i'm gonna pin something from icob he made a really good point earlier uh basically blah blah i won't
talk about this much more blah blah but traditional CPM and digital marketing is somewhere in the $3 to $10 range. According to a brief bit of digging around Google for the non-marketing people, that means false, that would make the CPM $30 to $100, which is outrageous.
The point is, the average emerging yapper claim based on the antidotal data around CT this morning seems to be in 4,000 prompt rates, so about 2k.
So if this was a 10x traditional marketing value on cpms you'd hope to have gotten somewhere between
20 and 90 000 views on ads anyway the point is this is some bizarre decision making again i don't
have i don't really care from a personal enrichment standpoint again this is hey don't bite this hat
this is a fucking marikami hat luna anyway i pinned it to the top so you can see for yourself once again
crypto companies making dumb ass decisions why are we shocked i don't know why we're shocked
uh jordan is the man of the hour today with the news we're gonna pass to him in just a second
bread girl in the verse cam um dobbins chris boo marianne i know a levi golden jovi skevin Boo, Marianne, I, Noah, Levi, Golden, Jovi, Skeb and Sarah.
I see you guys.
Thank you for pulling up today.
Welcome to the show.
I'm going to go straight to Jordan.
What's going on?
Thanks for being here.
Will will be a little bit late.
His little girl had a little seminar that she's going to be performing in.
So he'll be a little late with the market update, but he's coming soon.
Anyway, Jordan, go ahead.
Yo, yo yo yo so to touch on one of profits earlier points a lot of you have not
heard early Lil Wayne and it shows I'm gonna just say that all right get some
culture up listen to some of the early mixtape stuff. Some of his earlier songs, you'll love it.
All right.
But let's get into the news, right?
What do we have for this week?
We're seeing a lot of, you know, Will would talk about the market, you know, and he'll have a lot of comments in terms of if he was here, he'd have a lot of comments in terms of how the tariffs are affecting the market.
But because of that, we are noticing a little stagnation a little bit
with some of the funding rounds.
There's still actually some funding rounds to be had
and there's still new apps coming up.
People are still building.
So fundamentals have laid true.
People are still building.
People are still here.
And so there's still, I would like to say,
there's still promise in Web3.
It's not over, right?
Now we're dealing with a very unique climate because of the tariffs.
And that being said, you know, there's a whole 90 day pause. Now all the tariffs are like it's all focused on China.
We'll see what that results in and what's going to happen. You know, is China going to take Taiwan?
We have no idea. That's that's not my job to be able to foretell that.
But let's get right into the news. In terms of funding rounds,
we actually did see some funding round closures within the past week. And so a platform called
Codex closed a 15.8 million funding round led by Dragonfly. Wintermute and Coinbase Ventures also
participated. Codex is building a blockchain. This is really interesting. A blockchain focused
specifically on stablecoin
transactions. So basically, you know, for payments, you know, onboard institutions,
you know, and remittances and whatnot. So they're aiming to streamline money movement,
probably to make that space more safe and more trustable in a sense for a larger company to come
in. And so we avoid very simple errors of like, let's say, putting in the wrong address
or let's say being prone to any potential Web3 exploits
that we've seen in the past from smart contract errors
and re-agency attacks, right?
So Codex raised 15.8 million led by Dragonfly.
Another notable one would be this company called Ultra.
I actually seen them like way back in the day.
It's actually an OG or older name. Apparently they've raised 12 million from Noya Capital. So PC game distribution platform with a Web3 angle. And they're looking to shake up some digital gaming marketplaces. A few other ones on the list here. Let's see what we got. It looks like a couple of these have come from A16Z Crypto's CXS Crypto Startup School. Mahogen AI, so it's a Web3 AI platform for image generation and remixing. They raised $5 million. Maelstrom Capital also participated in Wagney Ventures.
and Wagmy Ventures. Cambrian raised $5.9 million. AI infrastructure that turns on-chain and off-chain
data into rapidly accessible financial intelligence. You might be asking, why am I mentioning funding
rounds? Well, one, that's going to give us an idea of the health of the market and what funding is
going to what builders in this market. But also, it's going to give you some exposure and put some
early applications on your radar.
So if you're interested in any of these, like I'm not getting paid to say this, I'm just showing like what's happening this week in terms of any funding rounds.
These are new apps that could potentially now it depends on what they decide to do with
their eventual potential token.
These can result in potential airdrops, right?
You know, ever since like, you know, profits was there, you know, those, the Uniswap airdrop.
There's, for example, there's the Jito airdrop.
Now, all these, some of these airdrops can be life-changing money if you're in early enough.
And again, I'm not going to promise you the world and say, hey, you're going to get, you know, X amount by doing this.
Like it's, you never know.
So I would say just try out these apps, check them out.
But in terms of what else we got going on into the Web3 News,
I would say, yeah, just tariffs are causing quite a bit of a choke point in the space.
But I'd say we continue on.
Ambient also closed $7.2 million.
Delphi Ventures, Amber Group, A16Z,
CSX also involved. So A16Z is still on top of it. They're still pushing. This is big money.
This is smart money. And they're still deploying capital. And they're actually pumping out and
incubating some of these startups that are coming out. Ambien is working on decentralized DeFi
finance infrastructure and focusing on liquidity solutions. So that's another interesting one.
But that's about it from my end.
Listen to some early little Wayne, and that's all I got.
Back to you, Profits.
Well said.
I appreciate you.
Jordan, is there any, like, you can share your holdings if you want,
but have you switched up to bags,
or are you still holding the major bags you've been holding, like, all year?
So here's the thing.
Because, now, I, okay.
We've all messed with perps and, like, you know,
one of the bigger ones, like Hyperliquid or GMX.
There's a few others.
Vertex, there's a few others out there.
I haven't been playing with leverage recently
so now if you played it the right way you might have made a lot of money
but you also could have lost a lot of money as well
the key factor here and every
me and profits have been here for I'm assuming a few of us
a few others of us have too multiple crypto cycles
and the key is surviving right right? If you want to,
if you can survive, then you can thrive. If you are like trying to do a 200X, 100X, 50X trade
and expecting that you're going to make it because you just saw someone else post a screenshot of
the same thing and now they're up 2000% because they just caught a big move, right? One, that
could, some of these screenshots can be fabricated. And two, even if they are real, right, the trades can go the other direction. You can just blow your whole account,
right? So what I want to say is I haven't been messing with leverage. I'm still here. I still
got my holdings. And in fact, I look at this moment as a buying opportunity. So a lot of your
favorite coins, a lot of the coins that people were shilling, you know, some of these really,
some of these meme communities are still solid. Like. I'll look at the group chats and they're like, damn, man, I don't have the time
for it, to be honest with you. But some of these communities are still going and that's strength.
That's a sign of strength. The fundamentals are still there. That being said, Solana is near
100 bucks. Not too long ago, it was 200, 220 something, right? So I look at
this as a discount. It's a blessing. We know that the bull market, in theory, right, should continue
on for crypto. That being said, macro forces, they're, you know, they're pretty strong. But
if we hold true to historic crypto cycles in the past, we should see the rest of the bull market continue on to at least throughout Q3, Q4,
end of this year.
But again, don't use leverage, survive,
and that'll allow you to thrive.
So no, I haven't really messed with my positions
other than I've actually added onto this dip a little bit.
Add on what you can, don't be irresponsible.
That's, yeah, that's what I have to say about that.
No, I love that that was uh perfectly said girl in the verse how's your day today miss are you pissing more people off on the
timeline or what's going on god i hope not i hope not no i'm good uh just finished eating but uh
very i'm gonna say why do you sound like you in a library okay you just finished eating but uh very i'm gonna say why you sound like you in a library okay
you just finished eating what'd you eat what'd you have for dinner i had soup we got snow the
other day so it was another snoop soup day um yeah but no we're good we're good uh
i'm trying to stay low on this timeline. Bro, that video cooked.
If we don't get more content like that, I'm flooding.
I need more of that.
All right.
Just letting you know, I need more of that.
Brad, what's up?
How's it going today?
Oh, GM, not too bad.
Just winding down on the week here it was uh I feel
like I've been on spaces all damn day today we had our first billy bets ama we're gonna start
doing those weekly to kind of just keep people in the loop as far as what we're doing and what
we're building as we continue to build this out getting ready for v2 launch here in a few weeks
bringing on some more developers finally I'm so dude so, dude, so stoked to have extra hands.
I've been like, it's been me as sole dev on this project, like since day one.
And yeah, we're getting to a point now where we're building out enough stuff and starting
to have to really think about scaling and better measures on security side of things
and user registration type shit.
And like, so we're really kind of turning it into the full blown product
that we that we've been dreaming and ideating on now for months and months.
And so in order to do that, we're bringing on bringing on a couple of devs
around some like super big brain AI people to at least, you know,
start working on that in parallel while I'm building out all the back
end infra and terminals and trading terminals and all sorts of shit. So yeah, it's nice to,
it's real. I was thinking about it today. It's really nice to finally be building something
that I genuinely am so excited about. And like, really, like, I really love what I'm building
right now. And so as much as like, it's been like, yeah, straight up, like every day is like eight to
10 to 12 hours of coding and sitting at my desk and building things like I'm excited
to do it every day, you know?
And so, uh, just, just stoked all around to, to be building this, to be hanging out, to
have the time to hang out with all you DGens out here on Twitter spaces and shit.
And so, you know, at the end of the day,
you know, let's fucking go.
Yo, so you guys have been
Brad, Chespi, even
I don't know how much, Jordan,
how many spaces you go to.
I know Girl in the Verse
goes to a lot of spaces.
This is Web3 Exposed.
So your bosses aren't here.
You're not going to get fired.
No one's here making sure you say something you're not supposed to say.
Be honest with me right now.
How are the other spaces?
How are the other?
I would like some feedback.
How's it going?
Are we learning?
I like the suey ones.
And obviously the ape chain ones that are intimate intimate because there's some real information going on there's some real alpha
uh but i've been trying to pop into some other ones both anonymous not anonymous i'm like okay
i come in not anonymous uh hey prophets is down there i see prophets there's like 11 people in there. I'm trying to be like, okay. She's recording spaces.
So, anyway, so tell me the truth.
How are the other spaces?
Then don't hold back.
Yo, it's, uh, there's a couple of good ones out there.
You know, like, big fan shout out to, like,
Coffee with Captain in the morning.
That's kind of like it.
Ping me, yeah, ping me the other.
No, not the OG shit.
The new shit.
I want to hear about the new shit. Oh, new dude the new spaces are all just spinning tires man talking about the same shit that all the other spaces are talking about and
realistically they're getting all of their information from like the weekly og spaces
you know actually covering new ai stuff new vibe coding stuff new platforms developments like and then there's like the the
you know the trad fi d5 bro spaces that are i mean informational i guess if you're looking for
super super like just give me the numbers of the market currently at every level and resistance and
like sometimes yeah i mean like that's you know valuable if that's what you do if that's what
you're out here to get but like the web 3 spaces like we've already cycled back around to like i'm seeing like web 3 gaming spaces
pop back up again it's like yo that died came back died and came back again quicker than like
any other cycle i've ever seen brother do not worry it is do not waste any of your time in web
3 gaming i promise you oh thank you the official voice of web3 i am genuinely
not being sarcastic your waste don't waste your time doing it no there's not there aren't any
good ones man i've been saying that for there's three good ones but they don't need to be on
twitter spaces and just don't waste your time literally most of them are complete losers and
are more fraudulent than most people on normal
crypto when's gta 6 you got the alpha on it when's it when's i think it's like august or october
you'll know this based on release date schedules so in the industry the term is black hole event
and any publisher with a game they're like yeah whenever gta 6 releases you should not release anything for at least four months after
and one month before because any amount of money that would be one they're going to probably charge
100 bucks like it's going to be unheard of and two the entire internet is going to only be playing
that game and until like the next year so if it comes out in August, between August and October,
it's just like,
it's any game launching around that time is DOA.
Like I just wouldn't,
I would just be like,
listen, man, I know we need the money,
but we're waiting till next year.
There's no point.
We might as well just sit here and polish our content.
I'm here for it.
I'm here for it.
Let's just fucking go with GTA 6 already.
I'm planning to take the week off.
That's going to be the only game I've been really excited about since fucking Helldivers came out.
And that got kind of old quick.
What's up, Chris?
Yep. Lots of different spaces.
One was AI, other one was...
Chris, Chris, let's try this again, Chris.
Fix that mic.
Get that phone out of your mouth.
You got this.
We're going to run this back.
Three, two, one.
Chris, welcome to the stage.
What's up, my guy? Go ahead, one. Chris, welcome to the stage. What's up, my guy?
Go ahead, Chris. Your mic should work now.
Oh, he's nervous. I said healed.
It's just Elizabeth, Chris. She's not mean. You know, she's not mean at all. She's very
welcoming. You want to talk later? All right,
brother. Hey, welcome to the stage. If you're just tuning in, thank you for being here. 747
PM Eastern. Go ahead and get some extra credit because we're going to talk about something
cool that happened in the space this week. My link is below. Yes. If you have not used
Slingshot yet, go ahead and download it. Link below.
While we do have Elizabeth here, I'm pretty sure you're super busy and I did start late today,
so I'll go straight to you. Thanks for being here, Elizabeth. Welcome to the show.
For those that may not know you, do you mind giving a quick introduction of yourself?
Oh, thanks for having me up, Profits. Really appreciate it. So fun to be here
and really exciting to be here in a space that's beyond the Bitcoin space, my realm. So yeah, my name's
Elizabeth. I lead Bitcoin marketing at Magic Eden. Previously at Xverse, I actually was on the
founding team of Xverse. I was like the fourth hire. So all of you guys who have Xverse wallet,
love out to all of you.
And yeah, so mainly my focus at Magic Eden is onboarding people and helping out with all things related to runes and ordinals and everything else, Bitcoin under the sun, DeFi, some L2s we're looking at and also events we have some really exciting events coming up this year so i won't i won't share all the alpha on this space but we do have some pretty exciting things
on the horizon for dubai and vegas so definitely stay tuned for that and yeah really excited also
to be welcoming slingshot into the family fold this past week so yeah major major news it's like oh my god I can't even
believe it's out I finally don't have to lie to people anymore because there were definitely some
friends who were like asking getting way too nosy asking questions that were like way too
intelligent I was like guys how are you picking up on all this like stop like no no it's no we're just like advising them i need to tell you that uh you know when i when i
end up moving into the new office as your co-worker i do cook fish in the microwave
yeah it's a big no i'm gonna guess the lapia guy tuna fish, my gosh. Columbia Wednesdays. This needs to be banned.
Anyway, I'm safely on the East Coast, so I think you're a West Coast or no?
I'm an hour outside Miami.
You're going to come to our WeWork.
Are you Northeast or Southeast?
New York City.
One and a half hour flight i can come to the
office oh my gosh i shouldn't i shouldn't have said that oh man anyway well here's the thing
we're also mostly remote like i usually just go in maybe like once a week or so but you got to
chill chill chill with the friends um i'm not going to disclose that at this point i'll take it out of the air fryer i'll take air
fryer jona is such a fucking pest dude so funny oh my gosh um so yeah let's jump into that real
quick if you don't mind elizabeth um you know the whole slingshot acquisition i'm not shocked
at this especially when i uh after we heard like jupiteronshot, I was like, slingshots next.
And I just wonder who, who's going to be the one to do it. I will say, I will say when there was
some like hints a couple of months ago of like Magic Eden getting towards like the meme trading.
And I was like, nah, they're not going to build something new. They're going to take something
over. I just, I couldn't put my finger on it.
But if you don't mind going into, I mean, I think I know the reasoning,
but I think everybody would love to know as well.
What do you think the main reason is that Magic Ian decided to acquire Slingshot
and kind of now add that to the arsenal?
Yeah, that's such a great question.
I'm not like the official Slingshot, you know, face of Slingshot here. I mean, Liz is really our guru behind the scenes over there. But yeah, I mean, mainly we acquired Slingshot because it is the leading cross chain, chain abstracted, no chain app. So you can trade any token on any chain. And that's definitely very much within Magic Eden's ethos of being able to support all chains, all assets.
And now kind of ironically, no chain because it's really just all USDC to any token.
You don't have to think about bridging or using different wallets. I feel like it's hard to describe until you actually use it
because coming over from Magic Eden wallet, I was just, you know, swapping between different chains.
But here, you just swap directly from USDC. So it's really pretty awesome. I mean, especially
for people who are like stabling up a lot to USDC these days.
Um, you're always just stabling right back as soon as you swap back in. Um, the trading fees
are super good too, but yeah, there's no, there's no like gas fees or anything like that.
And basically the vision is just like, why don't we just like unify all of this stuff,
you know, instead of managing your assets across seven chains and bridging tokens and,
um, you know, connecting to dApps like Uniswap,
why don't we just unify it all,
make trading easier.
And then also helping to onboard people directly from,
mainstream instead of going through a sex.
Now they can just come and be on chain in a non-custodial way.
So there's no KYC.
It's accessible to the entire world.
You can even sign up with your email.
It's pretty much the most mainstream app out there right now for people to just onboard and start
de-getting into different tokens. And that's another cool thing too, is that they're incorporating
more and more AI tooling. So you can start to own like research tools and information on the token. So that's
going to be rolling out steadily as well. Also referral fees, which is pretty awesome. They're
going to be launching a 100% rev share. So basically when you sign up, um, and other people
sign up using your code, whenever they're doing trades, you're going to be making a hundred percent
of the rev share on those trades. Um, I'm, I'm not sure if actually the person who uses your
rev code also benefits or if the 100%, I'm pretty sure the 100% goes to that person.
And then every Friday you get the rewards in USDC. So it's pretty, yeah, pretty tangible rewards
immediately. And yeah, immediately you have like access to millions of tokens, but, um, yeah, I, I could, I could, um, rumble on, but I definitely want to leave some space for
questions too. That was perfectly said. May I ask if you know why and don't feel, don't,
don't worry. I know I started late. I'm pretty sure Liz has got busy. Totally. Okay. Um,
I won't forgive her, but it's fine. Uh, do you, do you know why you, I'm just kidding.
Why did you guys decide to do the full a hundred percent? I think that's a great marketing, uh,
uh, what's it called? Like a stunt, if you will, you know, marketing tactic. Uh, but yeah, I would
love to hear why, why you guys decided to go that route. Yeah. I mean, I think mainly it's like,
this is a huge onboarding opportunity and you know, we want to onboard like the native crypto
people first and foremost, and like get everybody hype, hyped get get everybody on the app to try it out um and usually
okay so every time alina is the co-host i'm learning that i'm not sure what she's doing
with her it was literally me horrible so i'm sorry about that we're gonna we're gonna uh
we're gonna have to fire her soon.
Sorry about that, Elizabeth.
Oh, I see.
I was muted.
I don't know what happened when I got cut off, but basically I was saying that this is a huge moment to onboard people to the app.
Usually when you're launching a new product, whether that's a wallet, a marketplace, anything like there's the biggest point of friction is getting people as lazy folks out there to actually download, get into the app
store and download the app. So of course, you know, we really want to make, give out an offer
really like tangible incentive to everybody to like, get in there and get in there fast,
because it's fun to like, not only obviously get the rewards, but even claim your unique code
fast. Because I, for example,
like I was able to get in there early enough where I could get my code Elizabeth. And that
made me really happy because usually I have to go with like my username, which looks a little bit
like spammy. So the earlier you guys get in there, the more quickly you'll be able to claim whatever
unique code that you want. But then obviously, yeah's like usdc rewards every friday so that's
also very tangible and so yeah definitely i i think um yeah profits shared her what's what's
your code profits over wages there you go all right it's a lot to type out but i guess so is um yeah that went through no well said i appreciate it elizabeth
look you're making all you know there's a lot of people that listen to this show for a long time
and they never request and i don't know if it's your voice or what it is and now all of a sudden
they want to request man elizabeth thank you maybe you should pull up more often or something
appreciate that oh poco what's up buddy what can i do for you did you slip and fall or
what's up dog we're fucking chilling man having good energy up here i you know you invite me all
the time i'm fucking working dude i'm in la so it's like four o'clock my phone's going crazy but
today i'm home a little early so i'm like like, you know what? I better come up.
That's my dog.
You didn't even invite me to the Frank space because I thought we was cool.
I'm just kidding, bro.
That was funny.
Anyway, anybody have questions for Miss Elizabeth?
And you can also ask your Bitcoin questions.
You can ask her why is there so much.
If you could have a microwave, what microwave would you have and why?
Pertaining to what she just talked about, not microwaves, preferably.
I have a question.
Go ahead, Cam.
Yeah, because I like onboarding.
I feel like that's one of my purposes in Web3,
but I still want to get an understanding on, like, is it a difference or is it the same?
Like, what's going on between slingshot and moonshot like is it like things that you can point out that that's different
about slingshot one's like a weapon you throw rocks i can do this i'm i i can i can elizabeth
do i do you give me the power to do this i I can answer this. Go for it. Jonah, go fish.
Okay, so as someone who's moved over half a million dollars on Slingshot,
I'll give you a couple of things as to why it's really good.
So both Moonshot and Slingshot both have a back end that's related to MoonPay currently.
The reason that is is because it allows for Apple Pay direct from your bank,
depending on state, province, the type of bank you have you have okay so they both have that particular back end but what's
different is unlike uh moonshot slingshot has a special proprietary auto bridging function so
let's say you had uh i don't know avax token and you wanted to buy a Solana token.
It would do it for you.
We'd be like, oh, you want to buy this.
So it would sell into USDC, which I do all the time,
usually base USDC because that's like the native thing on there. And then it'll auto buy that Solana token for you.
So the idea here is that it doesn't matter what chain you're on,
it'll just launch the token.
So that's one.
The second is Moonshot is a very Solana-centric app currently.
That doesn't mean it will be in the future.
Slingshot is super multi-chain.
We have Avalanche, we have Cheezus.
I think we have like 10 to 15 chains already integrated,
another like six in the pipeline.
We're already talking to every chain you can think about.
So you have a one-stop shop.
Oh, the other thing is Moonshot is more centralized.
So the way it works with Moonshot is you really need to go through their listing team,
and there's like a lot of qualifications.
Any token that launches on a DEX, literally any pump fund,
any type of token that has real volume
will get automatically picked up by Slingshot and put into the ecosystem. And the only thing you
need to do to verify that that token is legit, like if it's made by a legit team, is you need
a certain amount of votes to give it a green checkmark. And if it needs a verification beyond
that, like if it's a celebrity token or something, then you contact the team.
But having a DEX in your pocket is super valuable because it allows the app to have so many
future integrations.
What if we add RWAs?
What if we add Sonic Chain?
What if we add Bitcoin runes?
What if we add one-day tokenized equities?
And it just makes it so everything that's happening through the Magic Eden API
is ported over into an Apple device,
which Moonshot does not have currently.
Do you guys have listing bots?
Because I follow a couple of listing bots.
If we don't, to be honest,
it lists literally everything.
So if we did build one,
and I'm just going to, they would have to do that, I think it would be a later function.
And it would have to be based on green check marks or a special verification.
Because literally, like, hundreds of things a day can get listed because it's a DEX.
It's like using Uniswap in your pocket effectively with auto bridging functions so it's
hard to have a a you know trades and notifications channel at that level of volume right okay i see
what you're saying yeah so basically i'd be looking for things that's verified with the green
you should follow the thing you should do is you should follow the slingshot account and there
should be a post there where you can join the Telegram,
if you have a Telegram.
And that Telegram is the official channel where you should get news
and updates when there's things that are super relevant.
And there probably is a customer service channel coming
if there isn't one already, since now that they have Magic Eden behind them,
it allows for a lot of additional manpower,
because before it was just a cracked engineering team.
All right.
Thanks, man.
Appreciate it.
Go ahead, Brad.
Yeah, Jonah, Slingshot, do you know off the top of your head, do they have an embeddable
widget that you can just integrate into shit?
So, can you give me an example?
Like give me a scenario.
Like using it as essentially like a pop-up modal on a website
for an on-ramp or a cross-chain swap.
Well, I can't say much other than that a website is coming
and then they can talk about it from there.
But a website is coming. There's already an app and there will be a website is coming and then they can talk about it from there. But a website is coming.
There's already an app and there will be a website.
And I can't say more than that or Liz will start beating me again.
Can you tell me if there's open APIs currently?
Liz has really big hands and it hurts when she hits me.
So I literally cannot say anything.
Hey, Liz, are there APIs?
Liz is not, not Elizabeth. There's two different liz's this elizabeth is really nice the other one is the
other one is ruthless she literally yells at me whenever i tweet so i i barely tweet now as well
i'm not surprised bro i mean you know, you know. Yo, I appreciate that.
Yo, real quick, I wanted to go to Will.
Will, actually, his favorite
dap is Magic Eden.
Like, I...
Look, look.
We don't have to talk about it, okay?
The... I like Magic Eden as a platform. Look, look, we don't have to talk about it, okay?
Look, I like Magic Eden as a platform.
I promoted them definitely over their competitor OpenSea.
I've only shit-talked OpenSea since day one.
We'll continue to do some moving forward.
And look, I'll just say my gripe is I wasn't too excited
about spending six figures on Magic Eden and getting a $300 airdrop.
I just wasn't too excited about that, but we can leave it there.
Outside of that, that's why I tend not to farm points.
I'm just not one of those guys.
I figured in better ways.
For me, though.
For me, though. For me, obviously.
But, yeah, moving forward,
I guess, did you want to get into the markets profits?
No, we're talking about Slingshot.
So, hold on.
Before we get into the markets.
No, I'm just giving you a hard time, bro.
I think overall...
I still promote Magic Eden over at OpenSea.
I wasn't too excited about the airdrop.
OpenSea? I've never seen them.
Who's that?
A bunch of people who think they can centralize everything
and decide what people can do.
Did you guys see The Breach?
Is that a part of J-Pole's new album?
I don't know what that is.
So next question.
Is there any farming opportunities on Slingshot?
Are we going to be seeing some ping pong with Magic Eden and Slingshot?
Or are these going to just stay two separate entities?
Is that a weird question?
It's okay if you guys can't answer it either.
I don't know.
I mean, as far as I'm aware, there's no planned token.
But in terms of farming opportunities, I mean, yeah, there's the rev share, of course.
So that always helps to get weekly rewarded in USDC directly. So that,
that, I mean, there's, I'm sure there is like some, maybe some confusion around like how the
token worked at Magic Eden and how the different rewards worked. You know, there's a lot more
nebulous with the diamond program, but here it's like very transparent, like in terms of like,
okay, you refer certain people based off of their volume and
what they're trading, you're going to get that rev share.
So, um, and I'm sure there's going to be more comms around that when that actually goes
But in the meantime, I'm personally trying to rack up some of my, my referrals.
Um, and yeah, and you all should too.
And, and claim your unique, um, user ID code.
If you use my code, I'll give you
inside information.
He's fucking capping.
I'm gonna give you a noogie
the next time I see you, Jonah.
That was a joke for the lawyers.
If you're listening and you're a lawyer, I was kidding.
right now there's a $10,000
sign-up challenge, and that's not
Oh, wait, what?
You should go make an account and then figure it out.
Hold on, I'm the goat of this shit.
Yeah, they're giving...
Cash App 2014.
Go to the Slingshot account.
I made $7,000 a weekend.
Dude, Cash App, holy shit.
Broke, they were giving $25 a head and then $10 a head.
I made $7,500 in the world.
We're giving the best rev share in the business. You should
literally get all your friends signed up.
By far, the best rev share in the
market today.
Just don't
fucking FTX us.
Don't FTX us.
I have not met any single
person at Magic Eden with a Jufro. I think we're
Here's the thing, John.
If you're going to do this, you have have to do it legitimately what you do is you
create some kind of event that fuds the you know the platform down to the ground
and i am not doing that you do not know liz i am you gotta you gotta hear the whole plan out all
right and then you do a tweet you say now's a good time to buy. And then you go ahead and you drop the alpha.
So everybody knows.
I stopped you because your plan doesn't work with Liz.
I don't think she โ€“ there are โ€“ I'm not scared of most things.
I am scared of her.
She scares me.
She legitimately scares me.
I thought it comes to Liz's defense at this point.
Come on, Liz.
No, I know.
People know who Bo is.
She's not that mean.
No, Bo is really nice, but she scares me.
No, let me explain why.
Liz is hardcore, but definitely has a very soft side, too.
Yeah, she does.
But let me explain.
Let me explain why.
Aside from her yelling at me, you could do the best job with her IRL,
and she's got a poker face,
and she'll go, great job.
And then she'll walk away.
And you won't know if she really meant it or if she didn't,
so you're always seeking her fucking approval.
It's ridiculous.
Liz does have very high benchmarks, for sure.
So we're always...
I don't know that anybody can outwork Liz also she
has like an insane work ethic um if you've ever gone to any magic eating events in the past Liz
has been behind all those you can imagine like they're pretty um they're pretty epic they we
definitely have like as a company this like we now have this reputation for throwing like the biggest
best events in the space, thanks to Liz.
She's definitely not somebody to be reckoned with.
What's up, Jordan?
I was just going to say real quick, Profits.
For those who didn't get the joke, because I'm sure that some people didn't get it,
I was referring to the market pump that happened the other day and somebody who's in charge of the nation.
The Trump? Oh, dude, listen. He's the best
KOR I've ever seen.
Now it's a good time to buy.
Hey, guys. Dude,
I would die if he was like,
I'm launching a paid group.
Fucking take my...
I believe him.
I'm restarting Trump University
and launching a paid course.
Everybody was flooding him because
of Eric when Eric said
now's a good time to buy Ethereum.
That's because his son is not in the group chat.
He wasn't included in the group chat.
He's not not.
I bet his dad was like,
and this is why I don't tell you shit.
Yeah, I seen it. I was like, and this is why I don't tell you shit. Yeah, I seen it.
I was like, whatever, just because of Eric.
But he was very like, that was real.
That was a great time to buy ETH.
Okay, asshole.
I'm down like, the price is down like 600 bucks.
Yeah, he said it at like 35 or some shit.
No, he said it in like mid-20s, I think.
And now it's at, I don't know what it is today, 1600? I haven't checked. Is it low?
Then you'll thank me later.
Dude, you know what it was?
It wasn't an encouragement.
It was like a facetious threat.
And we just didn't read it correctly.
Like he actually was trying to threaten us,
but we saw it as, you know, like good advice.
Because if you're doing doing because like you could
do it two ways you could be eric truck and be like you'll thank me later dude each price is
going up or it could be like you'll thank me later you know like just like the tonality really makes
a difference jordan go ahead yeah um so one congrats on the acquisition for magic eating acquiring slingshot um i think it's
really interesting to see magic eating diversifying into like you know the token game
especially with the acquisition of slingshot but i noticed a lot of the tweets i get it it's like
it's much cleaner to just say you know trading on all chains bitcoin soon you know that's you know
it's it's easier and cleaner to say right
now so like i just downloaded the slingshot app profits i use your code by the way and uh especially
after jonah said that the the lawyers are gonna you know uh clamp down on him for uh for what he
just said but anyway um probably more than liz liz whoever this uh liz character is but uh anyway
slingshot app everyone's saying on the timeline,
mostly it looks like mostly employees or maybe KOLs
or whoever's just reporting on this news.
It provides full chain discussion, all chains,
USDC without needing a bridge.
I think one, the UI, that's amazing, okay?
I'm noticing when I look at USDC on the app for Slingshot, there's a lot of chains listed. Most of them are pretty much, or I think almost all of them except one, they're all EVM chains. So basically Ethel2s, maybe you got Avalanche and Polygon in there, of course.
And the rest are Ethel 2s.
And then you have Solana.
But I noticed like I don't see Bitcoin yet.
I don't see Cosmos.
I don't see SWE or Aptos.
When are actually all chains, including the ones I just listed, are going to be available on Slingshot?
And I'm assuming this is going to be a phased rollout.
So we'd love to know like when these other chains are going to be added in.
I'm assuming, you know, there's a timeline for that.
And maybe you're not allowed to reveal that.
And then under the hood,
what allows you guys to be able to house all of these
from a trust and security standpoint,
especially some of the professionals in Web3
or some of us who have been here,
what makes us downloading the app,
being able to hold X amount of funds in here,
what makes us confident in the security of the,
like what's under the hood here that's allowing the architecture for us to
have, you know,
hold tokens across base and Solana and Avalanche and Polygon and,
and, and, and whatnot.
Cause you know,
I just want to be able to bridge that gap for the audience here.
And also myself that gives me the confidence to say, yeah, I can have X amount of money on here and be confident that the tech that you guys have designed here and architected,
that I'm safe with holding my funds with whatever you designed to hold wallets on all these different types of chains without me doing it myself.
So two questions.
What's the chain timeline look at for expansion?
And then what does security and the architecture look like for being able to hold funds on all these different chains for Slingshot?
Hey, yeah. I mean, I'm happy to try to address some of this, to be honest. First of all, these are really excellent questions. On the chain side, my focus is Bitcoin. So I do know the timeline for that more or less, which I'll go ahead and share some alpha here.
I mean, we were hoping as early as next week, it sounds like that might be pushed back a little bit.
We're just doing some final bug bashing and stuff.
And we always like to make sure, you know, everything's up to our, you know, we have a certain standard of excellence.
And we always want to make sure everything's like really top notch before shipping that.
So, but we're very close with Bitcoin.
So I'm, this alpha just for, just for this space, y'all, because we're a fam.
But yeah, I'm super excited about that.
I mean, that's going to be pretty massive for the runes ecosystem because, yeah, we've never been able to trade runes like this.
And also great for cross-chain exposure as well.
And there's also some really positive updates
coming alongside with that for runes as well.
So we'll hopefully be rolling those updates out
in the coming weeks as well.
In terms of the other chains,
I honestly, I would need to check with the team.
I know we are actively rolling out
and supporting other chains.
It's definitely on the roadmap
as to specifically when and which ones.
I can't say I'm directly in the loop on that.
I would need to ask the team
and circle back on those timelines,
but I would imagine that they're going to start,
you know, like you will know, we will put out notifications and messaging when we're ready to
share that with the public for sure. And the other question was security, right? I mean,
Slingshot is, it is a decentralized application. It is decentralized. It's compliant with all the policies in terms of
regulatory and KYC, but there is no KYC, which is pretty nice for people. It is a fully self-custodial
wallet, and it continues to operate as a decentralized platform. So there's no changes
there in terms of us acquiring it and that being any different.
I don't know, like I'm not a dev, like I don't know the whole like back-end architecture of how that exactly works.
But I'm sure there's got to be, I can, let me, I'm happy to like look into it and get back to you and yeah, see if there's some information we can share about that.
Because I think that's a great question.
Definitely some messaging that we can put out around that for those who like to
take deep dives um yeah and thank you Elizabeth no I appreciate you you did really well under
the circumstances I already yeah yeah I'm sorry I wish I could share share more on that but I think
those are great questions and I'll definitely see what we can do to put out more messaging around
like the security side of things um but I think those are great questions and I'll definitely see what we can do to put out more messaging around like the security side of things.
But I think one thing that's really great
about, you know, Magic Keating
acquiring a company like Slingshot
is, you know, people already know
Magic Keating to be
a very trustworthy platform.
Like we're one of the leading apps
that is on chain
and has always been honoring
like this trustless solution
and onboarding people accordingly.
And so I'm hoping that, you know, that's something that extends to Slingshot as well, that we've created this trust with our users and we are continuing this ethos is being decentralized with Slingshot as well.
Awesome. If you guys need any introductions or any help on the Cosmos integration
side, that's definitely something I can help out with. I don't know if that will be prioritized or
not at some point or when that is in the timeline, but just let me know. But yeah, I would love to,
I'm assuming it'll be in your guys' PR and marketing and comms. I'd love to know what's
under the hood in terms of like what i need to have
some confidence on like what makes me confident enough to like hold four or five six figures on
this sort of app and be confident and comfortable with that right as opposed to keeping it on other
wallets or maybe like you know other hard wallets for example but thank you Thank you for doing your best to answer there.
Give it up for Elizabeth. Guys, thank you so much for pulling up.
You're obviously more than welcome to stay as long as you'd like.
We're going to jump into the market segment of the day.
Looks like... It's all red, covered.
Looks like... It's all red, covered. Looks like... Respectfully, this is not another space you probably go to every single day.
Anyway, Will, go ahead.
I'm just here. I'm just listening.
Trying to get some gems.
Not as joking as well.
No, no, but look, we talked about it, right?
We talked about it.
What we discussed is we discussed Q4 this year.
I did tell you guys like, hey, you know, if tariffs come at the table, things are going to change a lot.
We saw that yesterday with the market reaction.
Doesn't mean it's going to stay going up.
It just means that, you know, the market's going to react in the way that is going to tell you how markets will react once tariffs are kind of relieved.
One thing we did get for sure as far as markets go that kind of helped out was we got a definitive answer on tariffs, which was, you know, across the board, 10% all countries.
Once the 90 day pause is over. And beyond that, China is going to
continue to get tariffed into Hades until something happens there. And if they raise tariffs,
they're only going to get worse tariffs. So I think at some point they're just going to come
to the table or they're going to leave things where they are because I can't see them raising
tariffs to some absurd amount because they're going to get a reaction that's going to, you know, basically be the same thing
or equal or more. So I would think that they would be kind of cautious on that part. I don't think
that they're dumb in the least, but I think they understand the scenario here. And I know a lot of
people are in this belief that, you know, China outweighs the U.S. It doesn't buy market share.
It doesn't buy any way. It is
the world's second largest economy overall. That's important to understand. What does that mean? That
just means compared to the US, they're the second largest economy against every other economy. So
overall, yeah, they have a lot of money. I think they're sitting at 19 trillion
circulating. We're sitting at roughly
about 27, 28 trillion circulating. So we are still the biggest market overall. We also have more
military than the entire world combined. So that's why when people say, oh, a China world,
China-US war would be devastating. It's like, no, not really. It's like all the countries in the
world could come together and they would still have a hard time attacking the U.S., especially from our strategic position on the West.
Will, do you think that the Chinese and America are in bed together?
I saw that.
I don't think so.
I think people insinuate that there's some kind of collusion between different governments to weed out the poor and blah blah.
Do you honestly think that they care about any of us investing
or not investing?
You think their intentions are to wash us out,
the middle class and the poor?
I think their intentions are to primarily wash each other out
and to trick each other and take advantage of each other.
Wait, there's not...
You know, what's that?
Is there not a global cult?
No, I don't think so.
I mean, there is, I guess in some essence,
if you look at something like Epstein,
that was a global cult.
But I think outside of that whole scenario,
there's probably not much of a global cult
when it comes to economies.
It's just you versus us or us versus you.
We're everybody's friends, right?
One or the other.
You guys are probably like, what does that mean for markets?
It means basically, unless we can achieve price action,
you know, basically above 85K for Bitcoin,
and I would say arguably 27, 27, 27, 5,700 for SPX,
markets as a whole are going to remain very volatile. What
does that mean? It means we could revisit the lows, um, and we can continue to sit here and
shop for months on end, even though we had this positive price action, we had this positive news
with tariffs, um, because the tariffs are only temporary. We got to keep that in mind too.
The tariff whole scenario, even though he lifted tariffs for 90 days, that's only for 90 days.
And then it's back to business as usual.
And then we're putting a 10% tariff on the entire world and, you know, 180 or how much ever he raised on China.
So I was watching some Chinese news earlier today, which, you know, they're showing a lot of what's going on over there.
A lot of people are talking over there and it's showing that, you know, a lot of them are shutting down
factories, going through a tough time, yada, yada. I mean, I understand that everybody has
their opinions on, you know, people being able to live. But that has nothing to do with the
markets, right? So I want to stick strictly to markets specifically. So it does appear that
they're having kind of a hard time with this whole tariff news. There
are people panicking and liquidating businesses and so on and so forth. And you're also going to
see, you know, this is the other thing too, that a lot of people are going to understand
is what you'll likely see to have China kind of avoid these tariffs. And they likely will. And
this is why it's hard to say that they'll actually come to the table and negotiate
is they'll end up going through third party, which means, you know, basically they'll be porting their goods through other areas.
They'll go through South Korea.
They'll go through Vietnam.
They'll go through Australia if they can, Europe, whatever.
What does that mean?
That means that they'll start shipping from China to those locations and then those locations to the U.S.
That's how you circumvent tariffs in a sense.
Russia essentially does the same thing in some ways too.
So it means the tariffs won't weigh as much.
They will get an extra fee for doing that.
It will cost them more, but they could still stay in business technically.
So it's not going to collapse the Chinese market, in my opinion.
It is going to make it very volatile and very rocky.
It's going to probably make it a little gloomy.
It might send them into a recession.
That might happen.
But ultimately, it's something that they could live through, in my opinion, with what all is going on here and the other routes that they can go.
More established businesses will be the only ones that really have that opportunity.
So basically, chop range right now, I would say 70K.
I've talked about it many times.
76 is what a lot of people's anticipation is.
We'll go back down and revisit that.
But we could stay between the levels of 70 and 85.
And we got really close to 85 the other day.
And then I threw out a post and I did say it right on the post.
I was like, likely if you're in a long, you should probably close those.
I was like, because you're going to likely come back in price. And that's, that's what we saw
today. We saw price pull back immediately today. A lot of bears are coming out claiming victory.
I think it's kind of done to be bearish or bullish. It's just a trading market. And Cam
said it best a few times on the show. It's simply a trading market, right? You're getting a range
of price action. You could trade the range of price action. And then, you know, basically we have to kind of see how these
things will pan out. I do think when I did post this too, and I'll post it, I'll put, I'll pin
it up there and that's for you guys. But I posted this earlier today and that's basically inflation.
Whereas inflation, how does inflation look? And we're actually doing really well at inflation.
Inflation actually fell to the lows of basically March of 2021. So we could tell inflation's
really coming down right now. And I think in part due to tariffs, right, tariffs created a big
scare for people to want to spend and invest. And then in addition to that, you've also got
high rates. So with those two combined, I think it really pushed inflation to and invest. And then in addition to that, you've also got high rates. So
with those two combined, I think it really pushed inflation to a low. And I think in the next coming
months, like two, three months, we could likely see, and I'm just going to be real about this,
because I think this scare isn't even calculated yet in inflation. And I think in the coming months,
we could likely see inflation very close to target rates. And I think like in the coming months, we could likely see
inflation very close to target rates. And if inflation becomes very close to target rates,
guess where rates are going for the Fed? They're going to come down fast and they're going to come
down immediately. And I think not enough people are thinking about that. So if that ends up
occurring and we get a big cut going into Q4, which is what I'm looking for, that's why I'm
saying people should hold off, at least for right now, about getting too excited. And just be smart
about your money. DC, any things that make sense, think more long-term right now. And hold off about
trying to get too excited and trying to trench dive for money to pay your rent next month or
something. Don't do that kind of stuff right now. It's not that time, unless you're a trader.
If you're not a trader, you're a long-term investor.
You just need to be investing intelligently right now, which means big pullbacks are opportunity pullbacks.
And then once all this kind of plays out, we should get FOMC going, I think, into July.
And it'll be July 29th if I'm โ€“ don't quote me on that.
But I think roughly about July 29th.
And then what I think we'll see
is we'll see probably a front run on liquidity going into cuts. You'll probably see some kind
of a big pump into cuts really, honestly. At least that's my anticipation is that we'll see
somewhere around August, September, we'll see that money start to flow in. And a lot of people
will start to activate on the money flow versus trying to front run the money flow. I think front running the money flow makes more sense. So you'd be seeing
right now to catch that July, September pump, or sorry, August, September pump. And then ultimately
you could step out at that point and kind of wait and see how Q1 turns out again. Again, and another
good indication too, and I'll just point this out for
the audience is usually if you get you know not not so good of a q1 across the board on assets
you can anticipate that everything up to q4 will likely be very weak right and we've seen that we've
seen that so far and i think we're going to continue to see that too uh moving forward so
going into q4 is where you really want to get active.
That's where you're likely to get some nice pumps,
some nice areas where you can grab some liquidity,
and then you can rotate that into other things that may be down or whatnot.
And be smart about your money.
Don't take a 100X and think,
okay, I'm going to just hold this 100X and turn it 1,000.
No, if you catch a 10 or whatever you know like just
take it move it to something else like pumps are meant for faded for fading right now um but yeah
i mean overall i'm bullish on the market the range i think it's a good trading range but i think like
people that think that we're going to do up only right at the moment i don't know i know i i don't
think that's the case unless unless here's here's a
scenario where that can change unless we could see china negotiate with the us right we see china
negotiate with us that could all change really quick but we saw how tariffs getting a 90-day
shelf really excited the market so you know now at this point, if we can get negotiations going,
we can get tariffs off the board,
you could get a lot more excitement.
Poco, what's up?
Well, what do you think
or who do you think needs the other more?
Does China need us more
or do we need them more on this side?
And then my second question also is
selling may go away.
That's been a thing forever, and I've kind of, like, watched it go true,
and then recently I'm seeing, like, oh, we might actually get some pumps this summer on my Alpac.
Here we go.
What's kind of your take on that?
I always hear that every single summer.
I always hear โ€“ there's at least a couple people who are
always whisper and they'll be like oh yeah we're gonna this summer's gonna be different and then
it ends up being the sell in may would have made more sense um even if you get a couple things that
are like outliers right i think a lot of people like to count outliers is that they're the whole
market and i don't i don't think that's the case i i think China and the U.S. need each other in a similar fashion, but I think China needs the U.S. more than the U.S. needs China. And now I'll put a number to it that makes sense, just so people understand. It's not an opinionated statement. It's just a numerical statement.
more than they import, which creates what we call a deficit.
And so if we import more than what they import,
whoever imports more typically is the person that is not need
or doesn't need the other country as much as the other country needs them.
Right. They need that liquidity flow.
They need that.
We can take the things that we're importing for them and create them here.
Now, a lot of people
like to argue it'll be more expensive i mean sure i mean what's what's the difference between a
samsung washer and a maytag washer let me ask you guys that does anybody know the difference between
that it's about 40 difference one is made in south korea one is made in the U.S. Like, do you really think that it requires us to operate
directly through China? Yes, it's a little more expensive here in the U.S., but it's not as
expensive as people make it out to be. It's really not. And once you get manufacturing in place,
it really becomes a lot cheaper as a whole. Like this whole Apple's going to charge $3,500 for
phones because they're going to make them in the U. i think it's a dumbest dumbest thing ever because you know what apple's
gonna do if they still have to start making phones in the u.s they're gonna start making robotics
that make them rather than people that that's that's what will happen it'll be robotics putting
the chips in the phones instead of people because the people are not being paid
two cents on the hour. Right. So they're like, oh shit. Okay. Which one do we do? Do we hire a
bunch of us citizens or do we create a bunch of robots that can do most of the job and pay a
little bit more on the electric bill? Of course, they're going to take the robots. You're still
going to get cheap phones. They'll probably be a little bit more. I mean, $13.50 will turn to $14.50 and they'll
call it a day there. I hate the fear mongering on the news. It's consistent. I think people just
need to be more foreign goods versus U.S. goods of the same thing across the board. And they're
typically in the same price ranges with foreign goods being a little bit cheaper due to the fact
that they're much cheaper to manufacture outside of the U.S. There's still shipping costs and everything else that are applied there you don't have to ship as
you don't have to ship across the sea when it's made in the usa and i'm not i'm not promoting one
or the other i'm just giving number scenarios that kind of make sense to that conversation
will the robots have ai in them and become like i mean maybe at some point i i think robots are typically just programs like
think of it like this like i don't know if anybody has ever operated or worked around cnc machines
but i mean those things are you know the the most accurate things out there you can't get you can't
get much more accurate than a cnc machine and so if you think that
you can't build robots to put chips on phones then i guess you can't cnc machines don't exist
in your world and they absolutely do exist and i i can tell you all it takes is putting
a pattern into the computer and saying hey follow line. It's going to be the same thing when it comes to machines and saying, hey, turn right 90
degrees, go down 20 degrees, and then the magnet will pick up the chip.
It'll say, lift up 20 degrees, turn left 20 degrees, go down 10 degrees, put a pressure
of 10%, come back up and just repeat, rinse and repeat.
That's all the machine's gonna be doing
will there be mistakes for machines sure but that's that's just how they work
the ai will eliminate all the mistakes it becomes super super ai and robots maybe one day
i've never seen one of those Waymo cars crash.
I have not.
They're scary as fuck, and they cut people off.
I was in one before in LA, and it cut somebody off.
I was like, uh...
They're honking at you?
Did you defend your car, or what do you do?
I looked at them
and I was like
I put my hands up and I'm like do you see anybody
in the fucking front seat pal?
Talk time was up.
Hey what's going on?
I've seen Waymos here in LA
and I'm not
scared about AI
and robots unless they
go against the prime directive.
all the breakdowns.
Will, I was...
So, you are looking
not... You passed the May 7
You don't think there's a possibility that
they've already stated they're likely not
going to do anything on this FOMC
and I think they're going to stick to that
even though inflation is where it is
I think they want to
I don't know I feel like Jerome Powell
wants to show that he's doing his
job he's not bowing to the White House
and blah blah blah, blah, blah.
You know, all the normal politics.
I hear you.
I think it's unlikely.
No, I don't know if my connection is great back in my office from not hugging the router.
if I'm not hugging the router.
But yeah, like, I'm wondering
if seasonality holds this season, you know,
and because usually you see the flow,
you know, some highs into alts and then memes,
just because of, like, I don't know,
you know, there's a lot of different things this this time like you
know i this time is different but like you know there's a lot the market and institutional like
uh you know m2 global money supply uh latinos, is we typically, you know,
we've been seeing that like a 12-week lag.
I know, you know, there's...
M2 is a massive link against Bitcoin.
I mean, meaning we're, you know, we're going to see...
Like positive. Like Bitcoin. Yeah, like React. meaning meaning we're you know we're gonna see like positive like bitcoin yeah like react um yeah at some point it's gonna have to react it's also stock markets i think there's a little bit
of lag so sorry for cutting you up some no no like maybe it's hopium but like i'm just like wondering if we might see,
because that lag is kind of like could be coming up and seeing like,
you know, more like all time highs closer to like,
like months from now and then an all season sort of concurrently this time.
Yeah. I don't know.
I don't know. That's, that's that's a that's a that's a very
fair statement i think to a degree and i think it's a plausible statement um i'm just sticking
to what we've been doing this cycle basically and we've been i don't know why it is but like
clockwork popping off in august september this cycle almost every single year the cycle we've
been popping off august september if you go back to every single year, the cycle, we've been popping off August, September,
if you go back to the chart.
So I think in that scenario,
I'm just going off of the basics when I'm seeing,
but yeah, it's very plausible that they could pop Bitcoin first.
And then my whole scenario plays out more around alts going into Q4.
And I ended up being wrong directly on Bitcoin specifically,
which is why I'm actively DCA-ing anytime we get down below 80.
And I think that, you know, and I've been telling people this,
like just, you know, let's try the smart thing to do here
is just buy Bitcoin below 80, buy your main coins,
Solana ETH below 80.
And then once you think you're getting closer to that
alt scenario you can you can play with memes if you want to or you can just take the upside of the
quins you bought right or even suey i think suey is a really good play to play out for a lot of
people it's i think it's got a lot of upside potential i see you're unmuted there cam you
got something you won't go in there oh i didn't know i was unmuted i'm sorry i'm over here i'm
over here on dj and right now as we speak so i probably hit the i thought
you was getting excited on the conversation he's over there trying to trying to click click the
buttons i clicked the wrong button yeah but i i think i think i think the time for caution is
it's pretty much over i i think a lot of people are are still in this boat of this
detrimental economy but we just basically got told all those tariffs are going away man like it's
yeah it's they're still going to be there but they're going to be 10 across the board rather
than 30 to 50 per country that's significantly less that's going to give the market some release
some breathing room and i think that when you start to see that relief and breathing room you can be a little more
a little less pessimistic a little more optimistic and just be smart about what
you're buying and you know i think it'll be fun nice man i appreciate the combo
that'll be 30 doll hairs brother bear market
my favorite bear market fees
bear market fees
bear market fees
hey I have a random question for the panel
why is there so much
non-originality in web 3
it's literally obsolete.
Anybody know?
Because nobody has any, they don't have any flavor here.
It's full of, there's no flavor.
There's no flavor.
I think there's people that stand out that do do original stuff, right?
And I think there's some people that just kind of do do.
I think there's not some a lot.
I think there's a lot of people who just copy whatever they see.
And right now there's nothing to see.
So everybody's going to tick tock and other places and stealing other people's
content and putting it all over Twitter
and I'm just like my god
dude I'm like this is it's such a cesspool
of regurgitated information
that's why copy pasta is popular
here copy pasta it is fun though I like copy pasta
that's pretty fun
is but like just taking other people's
content and using it to farm people it's like
it's i don't know i don't know man people can a million and one ways to be original in this space
i'll never know what's up i know you uh i know you were busy earlier no pressure on anything
thanks for coming through anyway elizabeth held you down i think the best she was able to so be proud yeah dude profits you changed the space time like five times
yeah it's a busy day man supreme opened in miami i'm sorry i figured you were gonna be
yeah no it's right you got you got those priors i get it you're busy but anyways yeah um hope you
cop some cool supreme and yeah uh if you guys have questions or anything yeah shoot them shoot them my way
jordan had a yeah I got one why did you go green from yellow
dude uh we actually like wanted to we were gonna roll the rebrand out at a different time but
uh yeah TLDR is like the yellow was like it was actually a shade of green and it looks like really gross yellow.
Robinhood actually took almost the exact same yellow like a few months ago.
So that was like kind of awkward.
And then the like fonts and app and stuff just looked really like outdated, like very institutional, I guess.
And we wanted it to be like more fun, like more cash app
vibe. Uh, so yeah, that's, that's kind of why we rebranded and chose the new green.
That's fire. I like the way it looks. I saw a stingray.
Hold on. You guys going to be a partner with cash app?
Know what's going on here? Yeah, maybe. I don't know. We've, uh, we've got Venmo in the app, so. Oh, so. Yeah, maybe. I don't know. We've got Venmo in the app, so...
Oh, shoot. Got Venmo.
What if I'm banned from Venmo, though?
I got PayPal.
I'm not banned from that one, so...
Alright, bullish. Bullish.
Jordan, you want to ask your question
again? Maybe Vol can help.
Jordan's not even here. barman ass yo hold on so i had to unmute uh okay repeat that now we're saying both here now if you want to ask
your question again about the other chains and the security as the app on the app or whatever
yeah yeah yeah no, thank you.
Yeah, so I just had two questions earlier.
I think Elizabeth wasn't able to answer all of them.
But basically my two main questions were like, you know,
just looking through the timeline.
But first of all, congrats on the acquisition for Slingshot.
And I think that's a really smart decision by Magic Eden.
But I'm noticing like the messaging is like saying
Slingshot has all the chains
and looking through the application right now
and by the way, slick application,
but it's mostly EVM chains
and then like there's Solana in there, right?
So I'm wondering when is Bitcoin, when is Cosmos,
when is Aptos and SWE going to be added for integrations?
And maybe you don't know this now
or maybe that's not public, but we'd love to know what
the timeline looks for those types of integrations for other chains.
And then secondly, I guess, what's under the hood or what's the underlying tech that allows
users like myself, like others on the stage or just others in the audience here to trust
Slingshot enough to hold a decent amount of funds on this app so like what what are the security guarantees or what's the type of
technology that's allowing slingshot to hold my assets on different chains that at the same time
yeah no two really good questions um happy to answer both i think on the second question we're
actually going to put out a tweet soon um just kind of diving in more on like how this chain
abstracted protocol like really works and people on the tech and security side are just
like pretty interested in it um but on the yeah like also like thanks and really appreciate it
um yeah it's been in the works for probably a year at this point um and i've been working on
it since last year so yeah it's been a quite a quite a while coming um but yeah to answer the
first question uh yeah we just say like all chains because that's that's the dream right like that's
you know a cool cool vanity branding right um yeah it is definitely evm in seoul right now evm
chains are easiest because of our data providers um and those dependencies obviously solana is is
like a much different build and And it's just Solana.
There's not like L2s really.
Bitcoin is actually in testing today and tomorrow.
If everything goes as planned, it should launch next week, hopefully.
We're going to be harnessing the Magic Eden API.
So you'll be able to deposit Bitcoin, trade runes and Bitcoin with USDC.
No bridging, no swaps, no gas, no weird experiences. Obviously,
it's going to take a little longer just because Bitcoin is so slow. Suiz is also coming. We
haven't announced it, but I think we've been teasing it a little bit. Chatting to them quite
often these days. I know they have their event coming up in Dubai as well. So yeah, I definitely
want to get them up there. I think there's a really cool ecosystem that they're building
and their team is top notch.
In terms of like Cosmos, Aptos and other, you know, kind of networks,
we haven't thought too, too deep into it.
But I will say like the idea is like you go to CoinMarketCap,
you look at the top 50 tokens and chains and that's where we want to be.
We just want to be like a centralized exchange, but without all the hoops and hassles.
Awesome. That's good to hear. If you guys need any intros or help with the Cosmos
integration side, I'm happy to help where I can. And then do you have anything to say
on like the tech or the security side, or did you already just touch on that?
Yeah, so on the, yeah,
we'd love to chat more in DMs too
about the Cosmos ecosystem
and just get some eyes on the tech there.
And then on the security side,
so it's all built in-house.
Again, like we'll put out a tweet
and just kind of go in a little deeper
because it is like pretty technical
at the ground level.
But it's like a centralized tech,
basically all swaps are executed fully on chain.
So we never actually custody any of your funds. It just runs through like backend bridges is like
the easiest way to say it in layman's terms. So users like maintain full custody of their funds.
We don't touch them. Slingshot generated wallets are all self-custody. You create them, you have
your keys and there's not like an option for Slingshot to you know hold your keys or custody your wallet
so sui soon cosmos and aptos yeah dude i mean it part of it's right like we want to be in all
these chains that that people are buying on um i actually don't know too much about Aptos or Cosmos, unfortunately.
I'd love to learn more, and that's probably just my own ignorance
for not being in those ecosystems.
But if there's users and people want that in Slingshot,
I definitely want to get that up there and added.
No, no, just so as all you know.
Well, you can't do it like that.
You don't need to worry about that.
Well, you can't do me like that.
He said no, so you can't.
We can't add it now.
No, don't do me like that, Will.
This is amazing.
Apparently spaces are buggy today.
Everybody, it's like two people.
Every time I, like, not close out, but just, like, minimize it to scroll or read a comment,
like, it glitches a little bit.
I don't know.
It took me, like, three tries to come up as a speaker.
Very weird.
Very, very, very, very weird.
But thank you, Vo, for pulling up fourth quarter with it.
Appreciate you. Appreciate you. Appreciate you. You guys,
get some extra credit for tomorrow. Tomorrow's space is live. I will be on time. But yes,
Friday, I hope everybody had a good week. These markets are fucking wild, man. This is the time,
man. You got a skill set. You're a designer're an artist you do cool shit put that shit out man put that shit out there and just go crazy this is it this
is my favorite time in the market we're never gonna see eventually there's gonna be a time
where i don't think we see bitcoin under a hundred thousand dollars man and i just think like if you
could just work as much as you can and just like like, get that as much as you can of Bitcoin and just, like, double down on what you're good at and all the shit you like to do, you know, the right shit happens.
The right shit absolutely happens.
For those of you that may not know, the claw was just restocked on BZ.
Go check it out.
We got a couple of grails in there ready to get snagged.
We crushed Q1 numbers.
So if you haven't seen the tweet, go ahead and peep.
Go ahead and peep.
I think my favorite thing about building in Web3 is just doing shit that really just feels good.
I have calls with people all the time.
I know, I know Vulcan relate, you know, being around for so long, there is nothing worse than
putting money behind something. Cause you think it's going to bring you more money, but not cause
you're actually into it or know about it or like actually like it. You're just like, Oh, well,
let me, let me make a gotcha game because that's what I think the market wants. Let me drop a meme coin because I think that's what the market wants.
Let me make a market.
Let me, like, do shit that drives you.
It's like everybody that started a new podcast in 2020.
Look at where are those people now.
They're not here.
Because you were doing it because everybody was doing it.
Like, you got to, this is for everything.
Back in the day, yo, Shanice, yo, how do you teach me how to resell Supreme?
Teach me how to resell. I'm like, yo, Shanice, how do you teach me how to resale Supreme? Teach me how to resale.
I'm like, okay, bet.
Why do you like it?
Well, I thought I could make a bag.
Brother, you don't even like this shit.
You don't even enjoy it.
You're not going to fucking be happy when you sit on shit or when you can't make a dollar off every drop, right?
Can't make a dollar off every drop, right?
This goes for every fucking thing.
So use this Web3 stuff, this tech, all this new innovation,
these opportunities, the people, the network, the connections,
as a canvas and create.
And don't get me wrong, there's going to be copycats,
unoriginal motherfuckers along the way.
There's going to be people to even fade you and act like they didn't see you
original shit and then co-sign the copycats.
Well, fuck that.
You still be yourself.
You still go crazy because I promise you, if you build, they will.
All right.
Enough Eric Thomas for the day.
I appreciate you.
Vol, Jordan, Poco, Will, Chris, Cam, Zero, everybody in the crowd.
I see you.
The other listeners, I think I don't know who you are, I appreciate you.
I love you.
I do it for you.
I do it for you.
But, yo, have a good night.
I'll see you guys tomorrow.
And drink water, baby, because you need the water.
You need to stay hydrated, motherfucker.
