That is what's keeping me sane.
That's what's keeping me focused.
That's also what's keeping me not from driving myself crazy from all the crazy things that I hear in this space.
And then thank you so much for the nootropics.
So we're going to jump into the show.
Thank you. You know, Thank you for pulling up.
We're giving away money like we do every day.
Drop an EVM address of whatever you want.
Tag somebody that you love.
um your favorite influencer everybody needs to be here uh before we get into the amazing segments
i have planned uh i do want to remind you guys this is the number one twitter spaces on the app
i definitely don't make the rules i just you know i kind of got by by what you guys tell me um but more importantly
lol more importantly this is uh another yet again amazing month in crypto and not from a price point
from all standpoints i've seen the most daps build builds going on. I see the most execution on chains going on. I see the most
activity going on, NFTs, you know, games, everything. And I'm wondering, I'm like, man,
how are some people still caught up in like circle jerk griff fests? And it sucks. I know.
It's like, oh, what the fuck? It's it's web 3 exposed yeah no one cares to talk about
it whatever i don't care i don't care to be the hero i don't want to be a hero i want more people
to fucking speak the fuck up i want more people to stand in their truth i want more people to
feel like they could think for themselves and i know it's not easy i know it's easier said than
done i get it but i promise you man some of this stuff like this is why people stay out of our
fucking space this is why they stay out of our fucking space.
This is why they stay out. This is why they come in and leave.
They want to come. This is exactly why.
Anyway, there is, uh, before we get into the banging segments of the day, uh, you know,
if you guys are new to the show, welcome. Thank you for coming.
I, I, I'm gonna be very, very honest with you, especially if
you're brand new. You know, you've never heard me say this before. If you're an OG, you probably
know what I'm about to say. This was a space started specifically because I can't be muted.
Okay. And more importantly, it's not about me, but more importantly, it was started because, unfortunately, you know, there's just times where people, you know, it is what it is.
But people just, you know, they just speak without any type of accountability.
And I'm not the fucking police or the accountability police by any means.
But we've done a decent job, I think, over the years of trying to police each other if you will
if you you know and i'd like to i'd like to say that it's important that we have these convos like
i love the it was a hot it was a hot spicy convo not too long ago here with udi and it was
you know it was it kept kept it sane and all that so anyway the whole point of this fucking rant
and for everybody that just got here it's your their first time, welcome. I hope you're getting comfortable
in your seat. Maybe you're driving home from work. Maybe you're getting the kids some dinner.
I don't know. But brace yourself. You're probably going to get some money just for freaking
being here. So shout out to you for that. But the point is, I selfishly started this show because I cannot be muted.
Anyway, there was a lot of back and forth today as a high, high, high,
bullish, just fucking super giga bullish motherfucker on everything Yuga Labs and obviously Ape Chain.
Yeah, I'm a little disappointed in some stuff. I'm a little disappointed. We're going to talk about it in a few minutes. There is things and facts I think need to be addressed. I've seen
the fires and all the other things going on. Great. Love it. Awesome. But yeah, for those
that maybe came for that or whatever it is you
know just get comfy we got a really good show ahead we're gonna talk about suey in just a
second there's a lot of great shit going on on suey we need to talk about that but um but yeah
man melina thank you for being here for co-hosting bread thank you for co-hosting um melina is not
gonna talk unless she puts her hand up so uh don't think you guys are
gonna come up here and talk to her i already know somebody i see some of you guys in the requests
and dms like get out of my dms no you can't you see another girl co-host what do you think this
is um no i'm kidding anyway i have some charts to post up for you guys in just a second too
from uh yours your well not yours truly. It's not me.
I told him you guys missed him.
He said he misses you guys more.
And I'm pretty sure he's going to surprise us one of these days and just be like, hey,
Like I told you guys, I gave him the week.
I gave him a little vacation.
I gave him a little vacation. I gave him a paid vacation.
No, but I'll post those charts in just a second.
Brett, any quick updates before I'm getting some guests up here,
if you don't mind giving me some whatever's on your mind today real quick
as I gather something real fast?
Yeah, definitely shout out Will.
Looking forward to seeing those charts i miss his
uh his ta versus everybody else out here on the timeline you know not uh not a whole lot of
updates over on my end you know just uh playing with new models playing with new ai tools and
new apis and you know doing uh experimenting a little bit, you know, today, probably tomorrow,
while we get ready to fully implement the big boy model out on the MLB.
And so, other than that, no, just been chilling.
You know, it's been nice to kind of take like a quick breather, I feel like, you know,
especially anybody building in Web3, you know, and more specifically the AI devs out there, you know, that all of it, it moves so fast that you go through these sprints of like, well, you'll have like two weeks. And then you kind of let things run their course for a little bit.
And you get a couple of weeks of catching up and playing with new tools and playing with new toys and shit.
And so right now I'm on what I feel like is probably the end of a nice chill period before I'm going to have to go back to super, super locked in again.
you're like super super locked in again and so i'm just trying to uh enjoy it while it lasts
And so I'm just trying to enjoy it while it lasts.
so i had uh by the way a lot of a lot of i mean if it's not obvious guys like the point of um
i think the point of like fresh information and stuff that's like happening that privy to most
people is like the best you know whatever like everybody's different in the way they you know
talk about stuff so um yeah i just wanted to say that but I was gonna say I feel like
there's a wash happening well I mean it's been happening really but there's a
huge wash all across the ecosystem from everything and if he's projects that
just didn't last it they're just that you know boom moved on whatever mean
coin specifically to everyone's like a great Everyone's like, right? It's
like the NFT bubble when it popped. Like now there's only so many things that are relevant.
And I'm really happy that this is like a, it's a growth in a way, right? It's important. I,
you know, I've been in crypto since 2014, 15, and I got washed in the 2016, 17 ICO era and came back like a whole different you know investor buyer and so it's
I think a glass half full it's positive I feel like we're healing um me and Melina were talking
yesterday she probably doesn't remember she said this but it's like so many people have left and
then there's a lot of new there's a lot of new, there's a lot of new tourists. Some of the tourists, I actually
welcome them. You know, some, some seem to be, you know, decent head on their shoulders.
And this is not about who can come and who cannot. It's just more like what I'm getting at is
it's, uh, it's come on. It's obvious when shit's at, when Bitcoin's a hundred K plus,
and then you see all of a sudden, Hey, we're back. Like, come on. Do we, do we have to keep
playing the same shit over and over and over like that? You know? Um, but yeah, hey, we're back. Like, come on. Do we have to keep playing the same shit over and
over and over like that, you know? But yeah, I think there's so many amazing things happening
on other echos that are not talked about enough in micro bubbles. Like everybody is used to their
little circle jerk. I try my hardest to try to pop into every relevant space. And when
I say relevant, I'm not talking about the same 400, you know, grift to death circle jerk spaces
or 200, whatever the fuck I'm talking about, like, ecosystem activity. Yo, I'll go to a 47 person
space about fucking a suey game before I go to a 500 space, a person's way about, oh, let's chill
and chill or like whatever the fuck you guys be.
Because that's, like, real alpha in a sense.
Anyway, anyway, I digress.
Keith laughs, so that means I'm doing good.
We do have a special guest here.
Thanks for pulling up, bud.
I heard a lot of good things about you.
And I'm not going to lie. I liked what I saw.
And I'm not going to lie.
The people that I like are telling me somebody is good, is decent.
I'm definitely going to want to hear from them.
I heard that you have a lot of knowledge when it comes to the CO.
Looks like you're a doctor as well.
So you don't only get crazy in the trenches.
You get crazy IRL, which is awesome to see. But, Keith, welcome to the stage. I won't take too much time from the intro. I know you're going to do a better intro than me. Thank you for your time again. Welcome and hello. How are you?
I'm doing well. Thank you so much for having me up here, Profits. I want to give a shout out to
Girl in the Verse, my homie from the ETH NFT days. And so I did a recent interview with her
talking about Sui when I launched a meme coin and talked about all the advantages I thought
of this layer one in comparison to the old Bitcoin and Ethereum where we used to be. And I heard you
got in a 2016 event and since 2017, and I've always tried to stay with the tech. And so when I was
researching and got kind of tired
of what I was seeing over on Solana,
just being the meme streets and PVPing
that the builders were going heading over to Sui.
And so that was right around,
I'd say about August of this last year.
So I'm by no means an expert.
I got in about halfway in from its existence,
but I've been steadily trying to learn as much as I can,
network as much as I can.
And it's just been inspiring. Seems like it's a chain where there's a lot of people existence, but I've been steadily trying to learn as much as I can, network as much as I can,
and it's just been inspiring. It seems like it's a chain where there's a lot of people just there for the right reasons. It's not just about profits, it's actually about building tech that people are
going to use. And actually, when using it, it's making sense in comparison to the experiences
of the MetaMask and the slow gas fees and just overall use cases that I've seen in some of the
other layer ones that people like to act like they're the best but now
they're pretty much unusable so I'm all ears for anything related to Sui and
talking about it I see we've got some other OGs in the space definitely uber
geek down there I've learned a lot from and I see a lot of people in the
audience want to give a big shout out from the Axel Familia. That's the meme coin I got that I like to roll up. We host daily
spaces as well, just to talk about Sui and Onboard, just because it's still a niche market and a lot
of things are going to be coming to it, I think, in the course of 2025 and 2026. I'd love to dive
into that more so throughout this space. Yeah, absolutely. We're going to get to that.
Ease up, Keithith looks like keith had
two celsius's before i did we're gonna get there we're gonna let you chill um in your opinion or
i guess expertise if you will are you super tech brain so i kind of don't ask you too high level
and if you're not no worries at all because I'm definitely not. But I guess in your opinion, from like you just mentioned, other ecos and layers, layer
ones, I guess, or layer twos, if you will, that can't even be really used per se.
Can you go into that a little bit and then kind of compare how Sui can actually solve
that problem or does solve that problem?
Yeah, I think a lot of people get fixated with what they know.
And so if you got in around the time you got in, usually people
feel very comfortable with Bitcoin, Ethereum and base chain. And it's hard to navigate outside of
those things if you've already made money. And you pretty much just go to the spaces that are
coinciding with that. I used to go to one in the morning called Coffee with Captain. That's where
girl in the burst and I usually roll to and I still occasionally make it over there. But it's
just a completely different feel now. I mean, the people over there, but it's just a completely different feel now.
I mean, the people over there, like you said, Ape Chain, I used to flip NFTs.
I was, you know, at Basie and Macy's, all that good stuff.
But now I've kind of went away from it, just not seeing the future use cases of it with how they rolled out the gaming.
And now seeing what's getting built over on Sue is just this breath of fresh air because you see all the same love and affinity for NFTs where there's, it's just a different feel
where I feel like people are getting into it for the right reasons.
It's not just about max profit.
People are actually not flipping them.
And so I just think if you've kind of got exhausted and you've been in crypto for some
time, you probably want to go to somewhere that's invigorating.
And I've got that when I've come over to Sui right now.
And I think I'd encourage everybody else
because it's a completely different world over there.
Like top three things are different.
What are the top three things you would say
So it's a builder's space.
So I'd say anybody that has a project,
they go to daily spaces and support each other.
And so, for instance, today, just before the space, I did a space with Pumpkin Token, which is this quantitative bot that people are learning to deploy and actually do trading on Sui right now.
And so getting these educational experiences where I don't see, like you said, every other chain is just more shell spaces for these meme coins. But for infrastructure plays now, there's something
called ECO, which is supposed to be for cross-chain compatibility. But they've got an NFT right now.
They've got a vibrant community. They've got this gaming component to that. It's just
seeing those developers pop into your space. You're talking with them behind the scenes.
You're helping each other out. It just seems more of a community-like atmosphere where people are thinking about the long-term and
not just about price action, but actually trying to support each other and build something that's
user-friendly. So that's been awesome to see. All right. So you're a doctor?
Then I got a fellowship trained in pain management.
So I do interventional pain management full time.
You're out of anesthesia?
Yeah, I used to put people to sleep.
I know my aunt did that for a long time and left because it's very, very, it takes a fucking
You're a legend, by the a fucking huge toll on you. I could only imagine. Um, you're a legend,
by the way. So hold on a second. How the fuck do you have any time for this being a physician now?
So the further you get along in your career, you get a little bit less responsibility in terms of
the hours you have to put into it. You take less call. And so now luckily I've got a schedule where
I'm working Monday through Thursday and, uh, I got Friday, Saturday, Sunday off. And so now luckily I've got a schedule where I'm working Monday through Thursday and I
got Friday, Saturday, Sunday off. And what I would say is harder trying to manage a project right now.
It's just the same being in the trenches in terms of the difficulties of once you get on cruise
control with your in real life job, the struggles of crypto are about the same magnitude.
All right. Fair enough. And any other, like before your SUI
migration in a sense from like, I'm sure all aspects, right? Maxi, now founder, I guess.
What was some of your biggest wins in crypto over the years? And then I guess,
what was one of your biggest rugs in Web3 and don't lie? Yeah, so my biggest wins were i'd say around the 2021 uh nft era i was uh involved with many
of the nft projects um azuki and board apes and pudgy penguins and i was a member of the
proof collective which was this a thousand uh nft projects with kevin rose and um getting behind
the scenes being in a discord wait before you continue, is Kevin Rose involved in anything you're doing?
But actually, I did learn a lot from seeing how they built and seeing the launch of Moonbirds
and what I did like and didn't like.
And so getting to be around a lot of these other artists, you know, the Dimitri Cherniacs, and there was Beeple, and there was a lot of names that I didn't even know existed at the time.
So it was really fun to be in discords and talking to people that are doing crazy generative art on things.
And I was just being this NFT flipper.
And so I did pretty well with that.
So I did pretty well with that.
And then that's probably my biggest wins.
And then that's probably my biggest wins.
Biggest rugs, I'd say right now, is just being a part of a lot of these meme projects that
have round-tripped many bags, especially on Solana and even running my own project right
It's just difficult to maintain a market cap when you've got this crazy president that's
doing a lot of things every day that are just making the markets fluctuate.
But I'd say that's definitely been the hardest things every day that are just making the markets fluctuate. But
I'd say that's definitely been the hardest thing is just trying to manage the uncertainty of the
markets and how people are feeling and hard to combat how people are adjusting their investment
thesis on a daily basis. So that social engineering component is hard to master.
Fair enough. Appreciate the take. If you're just tuning in, we are interviewing Keith.
Big brain when it comes to the SUI ecosystem apparently.
He has a project on SUI as well.
And we're going to have a few other segments that I know a few of you are here for too.
Or you just may be here to listen to my beautiful voice.
But thank you for being here.
We're going to pass off some money in just a second.
All you had to do was like, comment, and repost a space.
Drop an EVM, sole address, ETH address, whatever you want. I'm going to pass off some money in just a second. All you had to do was like comment and repost a space, drop an EVM,
pertaining to what you just said,
maintaining a market cap as a founder.
And I'm not trying to ask you a trick question either.
I'm genuinely like curious.
do you feel like it's your job to do so in the sense of like managing a market cap oh definitely i think you always have to have some
type of pride in your work and what you're putting out there shouldn't always just be
the main choice you do something but you always want something that you're working on hard to
succeed but for me i usually just try to think of things that i've enjoyed along the way in crypto
that i'd like to see iterated.
And so when I kind of launched, I wanted to create a game and then create a profile picture generator and an aggregator.
And so just coming up with those things keeps my mind more busy than just price goes up.
But it's definitely in the background at all times, especially when you see these large nukes of the chart and you have people that are, even if you want to not pay attention to it, you're still going to have people messaging you, dev selling and what's
going on and that kind of thing. So it's always going to be a lingering unit if you don't want to
have it in the forefront of your mind. So, but yeah, no, I take pride in it. I always try to
give back to the people that believe in me and invested in it. So even though it is a mean project.
Gotcha. Did, and this is not
to sound arrogant by any means. I'm curious, did you kind of have an idea of who I was or anything
I've done before hosted spaces or anything? If the answer is no, that's actually even better,
but I'm just curious. Well, I have your, your, uh, profits over wages framed on my wall,
the picture from your, uh Ape Yacht Club.
I have it framed right next to Girl in the Burst.
No, I actually bend to a few of your spaces.
And I'm a big fan of Girl in the Burst.
We're friends now for a few years in crypto.
And so I usually always try to support her and pop in her spaces.
So that's how I was glad when she told me that she wanted to highlight Sui.
And so I'm by no means a Sui guru.
I'm just a user just like you guys are, I'm sure, on other chains.
And the other ones that are speakers in this audience definitely know a lot more and are a lot more connected than me.
I just had a friend that's one of the speakers over there, Girl on the Burst.
Your handling is perfect, man.
I hope I'm not making you too nervous here. Now, I'm curious as to your thoughts on becoming a quote-unquote meme coin founder on Sui. What was the thought process there? I mean, you've been in crypto for a while. Granted, you kind of explained why you like that chain better as opposed to others.
You know, did you ever think or have a plan of maybe getting into like a project on like in crypto before this?
Or was this kind of like, oh, shit, I realized I want to do this and I want to do it on Suvi.
Like, what was the thought process there?
I think you have to be a masochist to want to launch any type of meme project after going through it.
I just actually had so many bad experiences on ETH and Solana with projects that I invested in and then being a community member and doing a lot of work and then seeing things that you did not get recognized or there'd be-earned money into some people that are anon that seem like they can't keep their promises, I guess I got to be the one that launches something that has some integrity behind it.
So I kind of gathered a team.
And after doing it, I mean, it was just a work in progress.
I made so many errors on there.
But I'm definitely proud with all the things I've learned along the way. And it was an easy chain in terms of launching and being a smaller market compared to like Solana
where the attention span is of an at or it's like daily in and out of projects. I felt like this one
had better use case to build something that could be potentially a multi-cycle play. And since I
joke around with girl all the time, like whether you call this a bearable market,
if you've been in it since 2017, you know, you're going to be here in 2026. You know,
you're going to be here in 2020, 2030. It doesn't matter if you love crypto, you're going to be
around. So might as well build something that you have some type of pride in some legacy that you
could, you know, reflect on rather than just being a passive investor. So that was kind of the
thought process of it. But you definitely have to be than just being a passive investor. So that was kind of the thought process of it.
But you definitely have to be a little crazy to do it.
And that was a really good answer, buddy.
Really good answer there.
Melina, you got anything for the guy?
We also have Uber, uh, Uber geek here.
I want to get his takes too of like, why should we,
we didn't even get into like mist in labs, Keith. Uh, you know,
I was giving those show opportunities, but, um, let's jump into it.
If you'd like to chime in, I would love your thought process as to why, uh,
why suey in your, in your opinion.
Good evening. in i would love your thought process as to why uh why suey in your in your opinion good evening i like the vibes already i already spit my coffee out but uh i need to recoup a little bit
that's hilarious yeah i really like the intro you said about that people need to speak out
what's going on in the space.
And I've been in the crypto since 2013.
Yeah, I'm a little bit older than the average people out here, I assume.
I just turned 50 last year.
There will be 51 of this year if I make it, of course.
But yeah, but it was Bitcoin mining.
And I've been in Bitcoin actually since till 2017 i think
then i found out eat i went to the e-chain and in 2018-19 i decided to do a lot of research on the
each side and try to improve the space but that was so freaking toxic that was yeah no that was
not fun so i stepped away for a year and I decided to come back,
but then stay on the other side of the coin in a more positive way,
empower true builders who actually want to move the space forward.
And that's what I've been doing since.
Last year, August, a good friend of mine told me, let's go to SWE.
And I kept declining it for a few months.
And then Augustust i decided to
come and actually really really intrigued and impressed what's being built here to go in a
little bit in the more technical details you have the foundation that's uh sui it's the layer one
blockchain and then you have mr labs that's basically the IT team building products on the backbone called SWE.
And what I think makes SWE unique, it's an object-based chain.
It's the speed, it's the low gas fees, the microtransactions,
because you want low fees and microtransactions to make it sustainable into the future.
If SWE will be a thousand bucks, say for 10 years from now, you don't want to have
I tried to mint the symposium in the early times and I wasted $1,500 on gas fees on a
failed transaction and I minted out.
I tried it twice and then I gave up.
It was a horrible experience. I didn't even try to mint all the deeds though at that time. And I think SWE is going to,
or SWE, that's how you say it, is going to solve a lot of problems in onboarding. The
main thought behind SWE is how do we onboard the next billion users and preferable without them knowing it.
And they have a few ventures.
And I think gaming is a huge part of it.
They're launching a gaming console.
It's called the Sweet Play.
And it's basically a handheld, like the Steam Deck.
But it also integrates already Steam,
Epic Games, and everything else.
So people can buy the device,
start using their old accounts,
but it is also a SuiWallet integrated.
And a lot of gaming companies
are already being built on Sui.
If I look back to the Sui ecosystem as a whole,
I think it's very well executed by Mr. Labs.
layer it's called deep protocol it's basically a dex but not the dex as we know there is no front
end but the liquidity goes to there then we have sui and s names like the dot eat but then dot sui
and that will be your id your digital id and the main thought behind it is they want to change the internet, how we operate.
If you look at the current state of the internet, the web 2 will go to a website, www, blah, blah, blah, and you go there.
They want to bring that in a decentralized way.
centralized way. So basically using SWE and S names as your identifier or your website,
using Walrus because that's a protocol built on top of SWE and using the consensus mechanism
from the layer one. It's a subnet on SWE. Keith already tipped it on a little bit it's called IKA
they are a huge partnership with SWE as well
and what they are doing is making
they have a wallet provider
assets from different chain
so basically I can hold native bitcoin, the bitcoin is not
leaving, it's not wrapped, it's on the bitcoin chain and I can hold it in a SWE wallet.
I think those things are going to be a game changer. That makes the ecosystem as a whole
future proof. And now we have a lot of projects being built onto
this ecosystem so you can actually make your Bitcoin work for you instead of having it
wrapped because a lot of Bitcoin people are very sketchy, right? It's a lot of money.
If you own a lot of money in Bitcoin, yeah, I would be sketched to wrap it to migrate it or to bridge it or whatever now you can help
yourself custody in a wallet called the d wallet on sui and you can put it in d5 protocols on the
suite within the suite ecosystem i think that's a huge benefit and then i think there needs to be a
lot of trust to be gained but we're still a young chain, right? It's less, I think it's now two years old, maybe a little bit less around two years old.
And that makes me, yeah, how they execute everything.
And I'm super stoked about it and I'm not done doing my research here.
there's so much to discover it's in the it's insanity I love it here and I think
There's so much to discover.
this deck will bring the next billion users but they don't know it they will
use it I think that's key hey well said I love the passion behind it too you
know that's awesome hey by the way 50s the new like 40 I don't know if you
heard you go into walrus a little bit, if you're able?
You can compare it a little bit with Filecoin.
But the uniqueness is we need less storage capacity to store files.
And it's very viable storage by smart contracts.
I can host a website and use Walrus for the files, yeah, for the website itself to host
the website and I use SuiNS for it.
Another, the big benefit from Walrus is they had last year, I think it was September, they
sponsored an Eid convention in San Francisco.
But basically every chain can use Walrus without moving their project from the chain where they
They can use the storage layer on SWE.
And it's validated by smart contracts built on SWE. So basically you have verifiable
file storage or blob storage on Walrus and it's proven and written on blockchain on SWE.
So an example, let me think. IPFS data. You can offload IPFS already today on Walrus if you want to.
I think they announced Little Dinos project on Solana. Is it the Little Dinos project? I need to think.
Cleanos. Yeah, the Cleanos.
Yeah. They're going to utilize Walrus for their IPFS.
So they're not depending on Walrus for their IPFS.
So they're not depending on centralized entities anymore.
It's in decentralized storage they're going to use.
But there are way more utilities.
There are projects coming for supply chain.
Like if you have a big warehouse and you need to have certain items in that warehouse with certain traits you can store it on walrus and the trade descriptions you can build that on suite
and it's verifiable because everything is open ledger
so i think that's uh these are huge benefits and there are projects being built yeah there is not
a lot of community behind it yet.
But they are building business-to-business applications.
And I think that's a prime example for SWE ecosystem is people don't even know they're using blockchain technology.
That's how we onboard, in my opinion. So I feel like, I don't know if this
is, before I go to 1.6, I don't know if this is specific to Sui, but I think there's different
chains that kind of have solidified, you know, in a way, like what they're known for. For example,
like AVAX is like, I think the gaming chain, if not one of the main ones leading.
I think the gaming chain, if not one of the main ones leading.
What do you think SWE is, if you had to categorize it,
not to put it in a box or anything, but yeah, I'm curious as to what you think.
I think if you look at SWE and the object-based chain, how it works,
a big thing for gaming is dynamic NFTs, right?
If you have a character and you have an armor,
you have a different weapon, you have different gear,
these are all separate NFTs on one NFT.
And all those NFTs are basically within one object
and you can switch them out dynamically.
And the object-based language we're using, called Move, makes it possible.
And there's been worked on a standard currently by two projects here in the space
and Mr. Labs, combination with Mr. Labs.
So that will bring a lot of people here,
because I saw a lot of Eid games,
and they tried to do certain things,
It's a lot of complexity to bring it.
Even in Solana, it's hard to code in Rust.
Move language makes it easy.
And there's another project coming out. It's called,
it's Lucky Cat Studio. It's a Web2 company and they're starting Web3 Gaming and they're building
their chain and they're going to create a codeless blockchain integration for gaming companies.
So if you're a gaming company, you have a game, you're an Indigo game,
you wanna bring it on chain to the blockchain,
you can utilize their products by just hooking up
without having any knowledge about blockchain technology.
No, I was just gonna hop in and ask you,
the last time you opened a website profits,
how much do you think it costs for you for the year, roughly?
You just reminded me I got to pay a bill on a, I have like mad domains.
Probably like, I mean, depending, like you talk about like the domain, you talk about
Bring in the domain and then the basic yearly fees, right?
It's a couple of hundreds up there.
Well, uh, so like we're doing, I've already spoken to you while we're doing, but we basically
launched, we were one of the first to be launched on a Walrus Lake full blown.
Um, and right now, uh, basically it cost us the NS name, uh, which was about, I think it was 16 CUE or something like that for six years or four years.
Um, and then it's costing us about two to three wall a year, um, to run this website now.
So in introspect, right, that's less than 50 bucks.
Um, and that's just, that's cause of the cost of the NS name.
Right. um and that's just a that's because of the cost of the ns name right um but as time goes on that
cost is still very very cheap compared to any other website provider that you can find anywhere
and like uber was saying anybody can use this right so if at the eath project wanted to just
flip up a quick little fucking uh mint site or anything like that soul, they can use it, right? Any of these. So it cuts the cost of even starting a project dramatically down, right?
So I just kind of wanted to point that out too,
when he was talking about Walrus.
I can add that a little bit on top of it.
And that's still on the...
This is still not built, but they are working on it.
This is a collaboration between IKA and Walrus protocol uh if you buy if you're hosting a website right and you want to
make sure it's your website it's the https you're using right it's a secure website
and then you need to buy certificates these are centralized entities where you're depending on
they are going to build uh and it will take a few years.
It will not be overnight.
But they're going to build a decentralized
CA certificate authority.
100% verifiable on-chain.
It's not controlled by a centralized entity
and it's driven by smart contracts.
I got a question for you guys over in the SUI ecosystem.
Do you guys have a prediction market yet that's live and has some decent volume?
No, there's not an exact prediction market, right?
We only have one betting site that's kind of just semi-rolling out, right?
The way that I see it is that they kind of left the books open did he rug out i'm tripping yeah he rugged out the books or something
what are the books one i have a question yeah figure out what's going on with one go ahead
well i do want to know like what you guys feel, you know,
cause we mentioned, so we play, we mentioned the game, you know,
I think for a lot of people, it just reminds them of, you know,
like the Solana phone. Like, what would you say to people who are like, Oh,
this feels so similar to what Solana was trying to do at the beginning.
Who wants to take it first?
Jay Day, I see you have your hat right.
I don't think he wants to answer that though. Okay. Who wants to answer it?
Anybody want to answer a millionth question? Definitely time in, but.
Well, it could be one of two things. I mean,
it could be a great narrative for them to gain attraction and a great marketing
or it could be facts and they
do have the momentum and they do get the momentum and it blows everybody away right so i mean it's
really like you got one or two options on that but either way it's probably a benefit for the network
and hi uh thanks for having me up thanks girl shall i chime in? Yeah, go ahead.
I think if you look at the Sui Play, right, they have the first 10,000.
That's just to get the early adapters and reward those people to buy the device.
But if you look at the device, it runs on Playtron OS.
And basically, you can run that os on any device you can run it on
your pc you can run it on uh on the steam deck you can run it anywhere and the thing is they
integrated already steam and epic games and any uh what was the other one? What was the guys from Final Fantasy?
Those people already have partnerships.
They will be launched on the SWE Play.
The main focus for the SWE Play is to bring gaming to the space.
They already have a few big partners as well,
gaming companies coming to SWE.
And there are already games on SWE itself,
but they will migrate to the SWE Play when it comes available.
So I think it's not a gadget anymore.
It's an actual gaming device and handheld.
It has really steep specs.
It's based on AMD CPUs and graphic cards.
pretty crazy. I cannot wait to receive it
a bright future. Uber, I don't mean to cut you off,
but aren't they coming out with a console
as well? Aren't they talking about that
are listening really well in my spaces that's actually still not confirmed but
it's also not denied but it makes sense right if you look at playtron os you can run it on any pc
device so if there will be a console yeah i i assume it assume. Then he came in and he said, yeah, I cannot deny or, what is the other word?
But yeah, that's going to happen.
Yeah, I think something that can't be understated is that the whole purpose of why Ethereum came about was because Vitalik wanted to protect his assets in World of Warcraft.
And that's how Ethereum was spun up.
And so I think if you're thinking of why crypto is a great use case and how SUI is different than all the other chains.
And I know we talk about it a lot now because we're
all in these sui spaces but for the people that don't understand what we're talking about there's
a separate programming language that they're using called move and that means they're using actual
images and so nfts before on eth like let's say for instance i was part of the goats nft
to change the attributes of the picture, you'd actually have to go through
These dynamic NFTs are going to be upgradable.
And so when we were saying that they have this thing called ZK Sync, so you're going
to get the Sui Play device.
The user is not going to be having to sign into a wallet or have to worry about keys
You're going to have this NFT, soulbound NFT, but you're going to be logging in via your
So that's already unique to Sui.
And so they don't even know they're getting onto the Sui ecosystem.
Now you're in the game and now you're playing the game.
And now let's just say you get a T-shirt.
You could actually have that NFT get upgraded with a new color, for instance.
And that's what this dynamic NFT stands for.
And now think about how clunky
all these other chains were when you're doing your gas transactions and how slow it was and things
were to fail. This is all seamless. It's going to be at the speed of how you're playing the game.
And so although I'm not a gamer, I'm super bullish on the way that they're going to be putting in the
right people's hands to use that type of technology. And so I think when solana came out with the saga phone they took on
a very big competitor of apple and samsung and to me it wasn't probably the best first use case to
go after it so of course it got its highlights because everybody who bought it in early ended
up getting it paid for because it was sold on nft but that's usually just be how solana market um
started to boom and go parabolic and i I think that's why Bonk is the
savior of what actually took place. And so it's a very cool story behind it. But I think with Sui
right now, we have all the different protocols and meme coins that are airdropping it. So hopefully
we'll see it get paid for by itself. But I don't think that's going to be the big story. I think
it's going to be they're going to break into this gaming market, which is humongous. And the actual programming language in the way that they're going to be
using it is going to be hopefully revolutionary. And so I'm super bullish to see how that unfolds.
And that's just one facet. Like every other month on Sui, there's something brand new
of that magnitude that's getting built. And it's just fun to see. And I didn't get that
same type of excitement uh for a long
time in crypto so jay what's up hey what up thanks for letting me up um i just want to say i love sui
i don't know a lot about all this stuff i like it a lot i remember the east days where you said
somebody eats and you have to be like wait wait did wait, did you get it? Did you get it? Did you get it?
And then Solana came out and they're like, oh shoot, you got it within a couple seconds.
When I used SUI because I got like a SUI name or whatever, I was genuinely impressed.
Like that shit is there before the fucking prompt is there.
Like it's insane how crazy fast it is and how impressed I was from ETH to Solana. I'm just as impressed from using Solana to SUI. It's insane how crazy fast it is. How impressed I was from ETH to
Solana, I'm just as impressed
from using Solana to Sui. It's crazy.
Other than that, I got to go take
my kid to Kids MMA so we can learn how to
sock fools up. Thanks for letting me up.
You guys have a good day. See you later, Prophets.
Hold on, let me go back to that.
I'm just going to finish what I was saying to Brad.
But basically, there's one betting site that's going on right now.
I don't know if Uber remembers the name of it as well.
But I could find it and then send it to you, right?
And then kind of to me, like from what I understand, the SUI NS, right?
So you're going to be able to use it for walrus so like um profits over wages dot wall dot app would be the website right that's literally what it is you just type that in anywhere it doesn't have to be in your wallet
nothing it's just anywhere um but from what i understand it's kind of going to be your
gaming name as well right your gamer tag so like you get your sui play. Yes, you use the email to log in,
the normies will and whatnot.
But just like any, the PlayStation Network,
the Experts Network, anywhere,
you got to pay for that gamer tag, right?
In a sense, already able to play most of them.
So that's basically what that will turn into, right?
So that's another form of identity
that it's going to be used for in the long run, really.
So be honest with me, mates.
How do I max farm and get as much walrus as possible, walrus specifically?
You stake them in the validators uh and their nodes basically
from what i understand that's what we get um we just got a simple tweet with an airdrop emoji
that says stake natively right so that's all we understand so far um there's other ways too right
you can lend out as well whatnot but i don't know i'm personally i want the airdrops
they said no lending just take it natively don't swap it onto this just natively
yeah and the biggest add up still need to occur right the first initial error was four
percent of the total supply and the next day it will be six percent of the total supply so yeah
So yeah, stake natively in the validators or make LSTs out of it and keep the LSTs in
And then, uh, yeah, that's the biggest chance to be eligible for the next airdrop.
Uh, I've been in crypto a long time and i've seen a lot
of airdrops we've been through hundreds of you i'm sure you as well uh i will note that of the
1.2 that was airdropped one was completely staked so like only two was still out in circulation
being traded right now that's incredibly impressive to have an 80 in stake
i've never seen that before and it's literally showing in the price so it's insane i know what
that means you know in in uh layman's terms what is that why is that so good if you don't mind
going into it because there's a limited supply everybody's competing for and trading against
each other for they're only the 0.2 is the the only thing everybody's shuffling around right now.
Yeah, that is pretty impressive.
This also shows what the team's focused on as well.
you requested. Do you want to share anything?
Just generally about SWE.
feels like we're back in 21 on ETH. It literally feels like we're back on ETH. But you've got to remember back on ETH, everyone had all these crazy ideas, but the chain couldn't do it.
Well, now we're literally here doing it again, but now the tech has caught up to where now everyone's literally building on SWE, like how it should
have been in 21 on ETH, if that
You know, I'm really bullish on
Ica, Deepbook. Deepbook is really
another missing product. Is this like a thing
where there's like medics in SWE?
Is another medic coming onto the stage.
Are you guys all like a cult or something?
I've been in the price for like 80 cents.
So I'm fucking... I'm loving seeing this used cake right here.
But now I want to like go deeper and I see, I just seen a lot of energy, volume, things being, you know, occurring there.
So a lot of, a lot of us have been in the space.
Like I've been in the space for what, five years now.
You know, we, we made our run on soul we we did good there and if sui is not like the the end game of crypto then i'll
i'm just probably gonna leave the space just because like if it's not sui then like what else
is it gonna be sui is the last chain yep last bull cycle was my first cycle, like actually in crypto.
And it was a little brutal for me.
And so I had some big learning curves there with XRP and then it getting delisted and all of this and Solano.
And it was super confusing for me as a new user.
And like there's probably wallet addresses out there and I've got sticky notes and God knows where they went.
And so I just got very confused last cycle.
And so I took the time in the bear market to kind of learn and research as much as I
But I still felt like I was like a normie, a new user coming in.
But my, and I'm a mom and I'm just trying to learn and grow.
And I found SWE back in like August, September from a YouTube video from Coin Bureau.
And I was like, hmm, SWE apt to say I was just trying to figure it out, didn't know.
And then the more research that I did on it, the more I got bullish on it and the more excited about it I got.
And then I was like, well, let me look at like, let me be the, you know, the new kid on the block and let me go find, you know, the top meme coins on this project.
find, you know, the top meme coins on this project and let me do some research there.
And let me do some research there.
And that's how I found Lofi and Axel, which are both incredible projects there that, and
they have really solid doves as you've just spoken to Keith.
But you know what really came down to it was like the community that is being built over
there, the welcoming environment, like these guys, all these guys that are talking, a lot
of people that are in the audience right now, like they really brought me in.
They didn't make me feel like I was stupid if I had a question.
They let me ask questions.
They let me interrupt so that I can get it out.
And they've just really provided just such a community building environment that is warm and friendly.
environment that is warm and friendly. I felt like when I first downloaded the SWE app,
it was like, oh my God, this is so easy with a ZK login. You can do it with Apple. You can do it
with Google. It was just so user-friendly and it was so fast. I would move my money from an
exchange into the SWE wall and it was like, holy crap, this is fast. And it didn't like cause that stress in between just like waiting 10 minutes on Solano or
And then the gas fees were so low.
I was like, this is incredible.
And this is the golden ticket.
And that's why I wanted to get in here.
And when I came into the ecosystem and started listening and learning, like it was, I'm just
I'm like, I'm bewildered by how much they know what builders are going on,
what communities are being done, what the DeFi side of it, like all this stuff that I'm learning
is amazing. And so are the people. So that's what I got to say about it, just from my little
novice perspective up here. And thank you so much for having me up and let me speak.
Oh, anytime. You're more than welcome. We try to offset the space quite a bit. I'm literally the only girl most of the time.
Melina holds me, you know, gets my back every so often.
Gets real bro-y in here, you know?
It gets real bro-y in here.
They scare off all the girls all the time.
Some of us can run with the boys, though, right, ladies?
Hey, I run with the boys.
Motherfuckers can't handle me on the core, cold plunge, sauna, none of that.
Okay, this is a favor that the host is me.
Yeah, talking to myself in third person.
I would love if you guys could do me a favor and add me to
all the sweet cabal chats.
telegrams. Please, thank you.
Have you staked your walrus yet?
Well, you're going to show me where
to do it. I have to make one too.
I have to make one too, Prophets.
It's already in your nest.
Amazing. I'm mistaken now. Those are the two, but these guys can get you a couple more to put one two profits. We'll make it. It's already in your nest. I don't, amazing. I'm mistaken now.
but these guys can get you a couple more to put them with too.
Go ahead and add me to all those chats.
my TV just turned on by itself.
Why did my TV just turn on by is it
apple we have apple attached what the fuck dude no i don't the remote's right next to me though
maybe i just hit it and i'm crazy my siri invokes every time i say the word suey so it's fun
oh fuck 7 56 p.m Wow, what a banger.
We're going to keep going.
The Celsius is running through my blood right now.
We have a couple of more segments to get into.
I see some apes in the crowd.
Yeah, you know I want to talk about what I want to talk about.
We're going to talk about it.
We're going to talk about it.
I know everybody got time today.
Everybody got time today, Tesspy.
We all got time, but we're going to do some learning
and some educating and have some fun in between.
I did see Achiever come up here.
Did you want to share anything, pal?
Looks like you're a part of the Sui gang as well.
I think it was Zach and Ubaj dick that actually got me in here and
i'm like yo these are my guys what are you guys doing on here that i just have to hop on and you
know it's been cool and all that right i didn't actually know there's actually still people out
there that are actually not on to sue you like seriously it is a surprise to me right prof like
you're still like oh bro you don't see don't need to be sweet and all that. Bro, we're everywhere right now.
Like, building crazy technology, the community is 100% out there trying to onboard as much as possible.
All the streets, in theaters, in the medical field, everyone, everywhere is trying to onboard onto sweet.
And I can actually see Keith.
Keith is actually quite a very, very straight guy.
You can actually check his tweets. Very tweets very straightforward and older I'm gonna lie
they're not like we shit posters are we not around brothers yes so I am
actually bullshit obviously that's what I do all friggin day wake up in the
morning on board 10 or 20 people on to sweet we sleep it's wake up the next
wake up the next morning and onboard.
morning I'm but I don't know what I do
That's what I do all day.
In fact, this is what I do.
I try to have like an episode, right?
I'm in like episode six of onboarding people.
I try to onboard like 200.
Are you documenting this?
Is this on your timeline?
He did a sequence up to the wall launch.
He's on day five of me not smiling until walrus launches.
So, hey, that's sincerity, man.
That's what I actually do, right?
Go out there, on board people into SWEET,
teach them, like, preach the gospel of SWEET,
tell you the opportunities that are out there.
And I'm not going to lie to you guys.
The opportunities of SWEET are literally limitless limitless like compared to all that chains right now like we're still we're still so early are you only seeing it like the thing there is like
if you can't actually see the potentials by in three and you should lock in right now i don't
know what else i can tell you it's like it's like getting observing bitcoin like 2003 right like that is
how early we are man like and the thing there is the technology these guys have been are building
right there are technologies in which many companies or probably all web3 web3 project
actually coming on to web3 is going to build on right take for words for example revolutionary
storage decentralization out there there is no project coming on board like
preaching to them okay you can't use warros right what's like you trying to fix into that box for
them they're gonna use warros which automatically was is giving them a very high use cases man
like i'm not gonna shill anything but you know what profit you guys should lock in on sweet
get yourself a bag of sweet get yourself a bag of wall get yourself an a bag of wool. Get yourself an NS name. Get yourself some NFTs, right?
Yeah, Eka NFT is like a big thing right now, right?
There are things that we're looking forward to that.
There are a lot of things happening on this ecosystem and all that.
But if you can actually check through everyone here, like the SWE mags is, right?
We have it on our pages, right?
Just go through three or ten tweets.
You are going to get everything all together, all right? So that's just it, man. Profit. tied. We have it. Just go through three or ten tweets. You're going to get everything all together.
And not to get us on NS name.
Oh, I'm going to smash that up right away right now.
And you're going to buy it.
Hey, you guys follow Achiever, man.
I've been in Sui for for a while brother uh
since like 70 cents so i love hearing all the the excitement um i've just now seen more activity
so i asked my amazing quant here melina to help me bring on some really cool people from that
ecosystem and any any project any anybody out there that thinks that there's somebody that
should or any you know thing that should be highlighted always get in my dms it doesn't
matter what it's about sui any eco that's the point of this i'm not it's funny today i was
called the oh solana maxi from some shithead in another space and i was like oh shit bet we
graduated from ethereum maxis i'm getting better like maybe next week i'm a sui maxi
so uh we're getting there i'm a Sui maxi.
We're getting there. I'm a chain maxi, baby. That's what it is. Could have been Cardano. What are the fighting words?
Cardano people are really cool.
They're really cool. I'm not going to lie.
Hold on a second. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.
Naveen, I would love your high-level take on Sui,
now that we got the whole gang here.
You really want the take?
Yeah, don't be problematic.
You're never problematic, but give me a take on Sui.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
Anything but the validators, N mean, that's all I ask.
I think it's fucking great when people are making money.
So I don't give a fuck if the token's called donkey fucker
or if the token's called anything else.
If people are making money, then it's good.
And that's it. I mean, that was my most diplomatic take profits that's like the most diplomatic take I can possibly
give you about basically any token you mentioned as long as people are making
money and people feel like it's about the eco itself I know you heard the
builders here any takes there and the eco eco, like the chain, you know, the being able to, all the cool things.
I think it's really, really difficult to be a builder on these chains because generally speaking, they don't really provide any meaningful distribution.
distribution. So what you're really looking for is like who's going to give the biggest grant.
So what you're really looking for is like who's going to give the biggest grant.
It's just a very complicated thing. I don't think Sui stands apart from any of the other
ecosystems in that regard. They would market their language. They'd say, oh, it's all about move.
And my response to that is that you don't need a new language. You just don't need a new language.
What builders need universally is they need paying customers.
They need users for their apps.
That's the number one thing they need.
And Sui struggles to deliver on that promise just as much as Solana or Aptos or any other
Sui does not solve that problem. That's not their goal to solve that problem. just as much as Solana or Aptos or any other ecosystem does.
Sui does not solve that problem.
That's not their goal to solve that problem.
And then they also have the same KYC-gated issues that all the other proof-of-stake chains have too.
It's a KYC-gated ecosystem.
So on that front, I think it's really difficult.
But look, if you've got Sui money,
like either you've, whatever, you got an airdrop or you bought some and you've made money and, you know, whatever it is, like, fuck, man, don't let this random PFP on the timeline, you know, tell you any different.
Naveen must have had his coffee today.
He doesn't want to mess with y'all today.
I'm just trying to be diplomatic, okay?
I mean, it's supposed to...
Look, what did the president call it?
He called it Liberty Day or some bullshit.
What did he call this day?
There's some fucking bullshit.
So I'm just trying to be like,
like, can't we all just get along, prophets like can't we all just get along profits can't we all just get along
I believe it will distribute about 6 mil across
the average is about 53k per grant
I believe after I have that checked out though
a cool little fitty f, but that's cool. That's cool.
A cool little fitty-fitty?
But that doesn't get you users, right?
Like, Apple doesn't pay grants.
Google doesn't pay grants.
Nintendo doesn't pay grants.
Valve doesn't pay grants because they have something.
In fact, they charge the developers.
Apple charges up to 30% of gross revenue for developers. Steam charges developers.
Sony charges developers. Google charges developers. Why? Why are the developers willing to pay an arm
and a leg to these platforms? And the reason why they're willing to pay an arm and a leg
is because they offer the thing that the developers actually need more than anything else, which is real distribution. And so I think that it is an antiquated approach
to have this highly centralized sort of grant process.
And in my opinion, it doesn't really work.
So it's going to be very interesting to see how these systems evolve.
Does it just become an adverse selection problem
where people are just chasing the grant money? And if you're not getting that sweet, sweet grant
money, then basically you move on because there's no business there. You can't really afford to build
in the ecosystem if you're not getting the grant money. Or do you find a way to continue building
there? And there's plenty of ecosystems that were hyped for a period of time
that no longer have the shine where they ran this playbook
So I think it's a really hard road, to be honest.
Are there any grants for my AI mixtape on Tari?
I mean, brother brother you know like
uh i'll give you the ticketing and vip merch contract
you're gonna give me you're gonna give me the exclusive rights yeah you can do the merch no
advance no advance depends on how big the grant is yeah and it's liberation day i think i think i think you should talk to sui
i'm looking for i'm looking to drop my mixtape on tari is anybody i got you but if you want
i i got you but if you if you want that grand money profits is my hype woman like so like i
got it that's cool i love profits do a big we might actually have somebody that you could do
that with possibly for grant as well, within the Sioux ecosystem.
So if you are real about that, let me know.
See this guy? He's got his own chain launch, and he's like, go with the competition.
I am warning you, if you build it, I'll have DJs break it.
What are you going to break? My fucking AI mixtape?
I'm like the fucking web 3 DJ Khaled
I don't do shit. I just another bunch of words and let rappers another one
Yo, thanks for having me on and I would what uh
Naveen that is yeah, but Naveen said is so true like there has been like
No real like innovative app level like level projects I've seen in a while.
I always feel like any new chain or L2 or L1 that comes out, it's always the same apps.
Like a Dex, a Swap, some liquidity pool to make money.
There really hasn't been anything outside of maybe fantasy that really felt very exciting and I just feel like a
lot of maybe these app developers are just kind of to your point just chasing the grants making
the money and then once it dies down you just move on to another chain make the money is that maybe
you're just rinsing and repeating because literally you could just take the same code base and if
they're evm compatible you could just say like cool, we just swap a few variables and boom,
we created a Dex for you guys.
So it's just really kind of annoying to you.
Even talking about the why did developers pay Apple
to create their marketplace is because they are willing
to pay that money because they need because they are willing to pay that money
because they need to like eventually make money to pay those like the bills that they pay apple
right but right now like everything is so like there are no investors that want to invest in apps
they just want to change because that's how they make money so yeah it's just it would just be nice
to see more like developers and like teams be more innovative and try to make money on their own.
Rather than just chasing a bunch of grants and moving on from one chain to the other.
This is the fucking problem.
So basically, there are essentially dev shops that are essentially grant farming organizations.
So what they'll do is they'll
spin up a new x account they'll spin up they'll like you know call it let's say it's like a uniswap
v3 fork or something they'll spin up a a next account they'll say oh my god it's gonna be the
dedicated decks for whatever insert chain here and then they go to the foundation and they say
yeah we're a we're a native team we're we are all about you. We'll build for you. Is it Saul or E?
What are you talking about?
Well, I mean, you just said that Sui doesn't give grants, so it's definitely not Sui.
Someone just said they gave $6 million of grants.
What are you talking about?
Ape chain was low-hanging fruit.
So, basically, this is a... we call it an adverse selection problem.
So you don't have people who are out there trying to take real risk and build net new things because there is no real business success doing that.
The successful thing is to just go and rinse and repeat whatever is the
meta on the timeline so it's like oh my god pump funds blowing up what's gonna be my pump fun you
know clone on sui it's like okay great uh oh what's blowing up now oh we should build that on sui who's
gonna be the crypto native and literally that's all the sui people think about like they're just
like oh my god you know we just need to find a pump fun clone there's some dude over there probably was like let me go find the
best dev shop out there to build a pump fun clone and and it's just it just all like sucks you know
and that's why all these chains basically look and feel the same like you know you go and use
whether it's suey whether it's aptos whether it's uh you know evm l2 thing it all just looks the same it all
like basically looks and feels the same because no one is really pushing the art and and that's
like a fundamental problem yeah but web3 no but that's what i like that's why i think fantasy is
such a unique uh application and it's one of the most unique applications I've seen on Web3.
And it's kind of sad, maybe this is controversial, but it's kind of sad that it's on blast.
But you have so many chains asking them to just come to our chain.
Let us be the unique chain that has fantasy because it's the only thing that is actually fun to use.
And people are willing to pay real
like money to actually obtain these cards right there's like some type of competitive aspect of
it it's gamification and it's not like uh what do you call it like play to earn kind of kind of
kind of shenanigans it's actually like somewhat of a sustainable business that can stand on its
own like it doesn't even matter what chain it's on. It's actually just fun. And I don't know.
Like, I just feel like there just needs to be more innovation, to your point.
Well, looks like I'm bullish.
Bullish, bullish, bullish more than ever.
We won't let people like Naveen hold us down.
I think Naveen has amazing takes.
I think today's session on, I know Naveen, I know he came a little late,
but we were talking about some cool things that are going on in that eco.
And also, Grant, let me just say this.
I think they're, it's a gift and a curse,
because you've got a lot of grifters all over
these others all over these motherfucking chains trying to launch whatever bullshit they can for a
little 50 50k here 10k there 15k there coma said it perfectly um however i think also grants are
very important when you know incubatingating and helping push an amazing eco.
You know, it's very important.
It's a fucking, it's like a race in a way.
It's like a fucking mouse and a cat because it's like you want to be fucking accepted as a protocol adapt, whatever it is you're building.
And then a lot of that, you know, it's a lot. It's a lot that goes into it.
Naveen, before I go into the next segment, I'm going to do you a favor and give you the last take of this little piece right here before I go into the next topic.
I'm staying up late tonight. We on spaces tonight. So we got a couple more things to go into. But what's up, Naveen? Go ahead.
more things to go into but what's up Naveen go ahead profits if all you have to offer in the world
is grant money then grants are a good idea if you have other things to offer perhaps things that
people value more I'll tell you when I when I went through Y Combinator and we have these Friday dinners, no one at the Friday dinners is talking about the grant money they got from a foundation.
What they're talking about is how many users did I add every week?
What was my growth rate week over week?
And let me be the first to tell you that a grant is not going to solve that problem.
you that a grant is not going to solve that problem a grant is not going to help you grow
your user base week over week over week over week because what you need to do is create a product
people really want create something that is unique enough and innovative enough something that's going
to really drive people to to to really be involved you capture people's imaginations. Do something unique and different. If you look at
all of these ecosystems, it's just remixes and reskins of the same old shit. And I'm telling
you, that is not a recipe for success. And there's no reason for these ecosystems to be paying people
to build the same old shit apps because they should be offering something different. If SUI is so unique and Move is such a powerful language,
show me the application that you can only build on SUI,
you can only build on Move,
that you can't build anywhere else.
And the problem is that doesn't really exist.
And if it exists, no one's really using it.
So that's the fundamental problem with grants.
I think that's why I said that specifically incubation.
I definitely agree with that.
Literally dealing with, respectfully, by the way, I love Abstract, love Luca, love them all over there.
But watching the BZ knockoffs come to life over there is fucking hilarious.
And all the fucking bullshit bullshit ass numbers that people,
oh, we have a million dollars in volume. Motherfucker, you barely got 7,000 followers.
What are you talking about? Don't cap. Don't fucking cap. Anyway, well said. Thank you for that. We're going to jump into the next segment. We do got the boy here, Michael. We'd love to hear
what he has to say. Go ahead, brother. Yeah. In regards to all these projects and basically being duplicates of each other, not everything has to be a degenerate gambling casino for it to be successful, number one.
And number two, when it came to WalletGuard, which was our startup that got acquired by Metamask, we originally started off because we got a $40,000 grant from Nervos Network.
We got a $40,000 grant from Nervos Network.
And eventually, because we were sustaining
over 100,000 users monthly,
it cost, you know, 20, 30,000, $40,000 a month
just to run WalletGuard and provide it as a public good
because it was a free service and it was open source.
But that leads to acquisition.
If it's actually something that provides real utility
that has real value in the space.
So I think there's definitely a formula to it but a
lot of people are just lost in the mix head in the clouds type of shit hey well fucking said dude i
feel that i feel that i know there's a lot there's unfortunately a lot of shitty things and good
things that have come out from grants but um but yeah that's uh look everybody got their fucking
hand up now everybody i guess while i'm waiting for one more person to come to the stage, we'll go to the fucking hand. Chicago, go ahead. And then Koma and then Zach.
There's two ways to fucking accept the grant and give a grant. Like one, there needs to be accountability when you give a grant. Like Y Combinator fucking had terms in there that wasn't going to let Naveen run off with his money. And that's why everybody was talking about how to build with the money. Michael got a, it's not a grant. It's an investment.
They take fucking 7% of your startup. Even more terms around the money they gave you.
Same difference. I mean, not same difference, but you know what I mean? My point is they're
keeping you accountable when they give you money. So when you get a grant, you have two options.
You can either A, try to build something something or B pay yourself a really large salary,
pay yourself, buy yourself really nice and accept that your business was never
going to make X amount of dollars in the first place and just steal the grant.
Like if the grant is given without terms on it, I mean, I've got a fucking grant
from the city of Chicago for 7 million bucks and I still couldn't go fuck off
with it because there's terms for it.
I mean, grant, we gave it back because the city of Chicago sucks.
But like, regardless of that, like putting terms on it is the part.
I don't give a fuck who gives grants.
Like if you want to give grant for your network, do it, but put terms on it.
Same thing that happened.
I mean, I'll use ape chain again, but like every ape fucking Dow fucking grant had no
You don't have any benchmarks to hit.
We're not going to hold back any of it. We're not going to take any piece of it. So like, yeah, I mean,
I think it comes down to who's giving the grant. Like if somebody is willing to just throw money
out there and fucking pretty much call it a gift with a, if you do great, then that's the fucking
bigger problem in it. But I don't know, to people farming fucking grants, cause it's really easy to
get free money from dumber people that own bigger companies. Like, I don't know, to people farming fucking grants because it's really easy to get free money from dumber people that own bigger companies.
Like, I don't know. I'm not super
knocking it. Like, I don't knock the people who got
the grants on it. I don't knock the people
who got the grants for fucking millions of dollars
from fucking ApeCoin. I knock
ApeCoin for not- I am because now they keep
asking every other question under the sun
As long as there's something
They should have done that before
and you should have fucking applied
for this fucking thing three years ago
when they were fucking dishing out
stupid money with no accountability.
I didn't want to just do some shit.
and my ideas come to life now.
Can you see the difference?
You're like Michael here.
He actually had something
He didn't plan to run off with the money,
so it doesn't really matter what the fucking terms are that are on it.
Like that's just real simple.
But like, yeah, we're in a space full of grifters.
And if anybody wants to give me $3 million for my AI mixtape, I would be dropping it this summer on Tari or Sui or Ape Chain or Abstract or whoever wants to give me $3 million so I can source.
Wait, wait, who said A can source Chicago I have a problem now
we're talking about the worst giving away
of fucking money since USAID
you got 20 million bucks so I can start
a transgender education fucking Sesame
oh my fucking goodness this is why
he comes on after eight o'clock he must know me by now my dog was getting fixed and she's
no how is he getting through the mute oh is she okay yeah yeah she's fine she's wearing a donut
she's snoring fucking i feel bad for her but like it is what it is but let's get back to the
important part i need three million for this ai mixtape i'm i'm chain independent it's fine wait just just one second because because because chicago
you just you just said something and it kind of came to my mind what happened prior to ape chain
um even launching remember when the let's not let's call it yeah right right so check it out
No, no, no, right, right and this is where the problem stems from they were giving people inside of the council
20,000 ape coin per month with with without even leveraging what they were capable of So of course if you're getting handed free money and you're able to piss it away
It's a completely different story
You don't care about the success of the project or the network or the token the way that i'm counting the money
they were giving on the side for fucking shilling it on their fucking official spaces and you're not
counting like the fucking money that people were getting paid to fucking sway their votes
and everything else yeah to an extent but but the concept of being on a council is actually being
able to build something not just sit there and become a shill as an open mouth like the real way that it should have been handled like i would have
put um a proposal in to become part of the council and my proposal would have literally said i don't
want any ape coin i want to i want to do this position because i actually care about the
community i care about you guys i care about building you're an anomaly bro like you're one
of the good people in this space who wanted to do good shit.
Let's not compare it to how to steal money
from fucking work. There's many people
that wants to do the same thing.
This is not about fucking ApeCoin DAO.
are good people. I'm not sitting
here saying everything that's ever gone to ApeCoin
DAO is a fucking terrible idea that didn't have a fucking good people. Like who gives, I'm not sitting here saying everything that's ever gone to ApeCoinDAO is a fucking terrible idea that didn't have a fucking good reason.
Same thing with SUI, same thing with abstract.
Like if you actually had good intent, this message you can just skip over because it's
It's about the broken system that allowed everybody else to steal the money that could
have gone to your company.
Like, don't get me wrong.
There's some people with good intent that had fucking real stupid ideas and negligence and fucking incompetence is still the fucking same as fucking stealing.
Like if you thought you were going to fucking start a fucking Pac-Man digital fucking kids book,
fucking dog walking service that needed three and a half million bucks because your expectation was
that it was going to do 8 million the first year and 42 million the second year, like being retarded
isn't an excuse just because you had good intentions.
It just means you're retarded and you were basically stealing while pleading innocence.
But sure, there's a couple of people on ApeCoin, ApeCoinDAO that actually had a good idea, but
most of them were fucking, for lack of a better, retarded and didn't understand that this would
have never worked in the business world without free money so basically what you're saying is you want intelligent
people that are knowledgeable that build innovation that love art and that build
a community that's sustainable welcome to sweet it's not about sustainable like
let's also be like profitable how about that like business ideas. Like, these are like fucking charities.
Like, go on fucking Seeking Arrangements.
Tell them you want to fucking do something.
Like, this is the Web3 version of it, you know?
So, like, it doesn't change.
ApeCoin would have fucking a shit ton of money still left in it if they didn't give away fucking 14 million to Machi, 6 million to fucking F1 fucking sixth seed car
so that seven fucking influencers could go to a fucking race
while one of them gets robbed for fucking $10 million by a hooker.
I fucking hate this guy sometimes.
Where's my fucking food at, dude?
really i'm sad i gotta do this i really am not gonna lie i am i'm sick of you guys
sick of you motherfuckers just because you hold the space for fucking 190 days straight doesn't
give you the right to grip that doesn't give you the right to grift.
That doesn't give you the right to grift, dude.
What the hell does that even... Dude, I'm sick of that.
Hey, we've been in the space.
I've heard this on every fucking chain.
You want to talk about chain, Maxie?
Every cult chain and every fucking chain.
Bitcoin, Sui, Solana, fucking Ape Chain.
Oh, well, that guy's been hosting a space for fucking ages.
There's no motherfucking way he does it, Griff.
You guys can't get synonymous on shit, but that fucking narrative right there.
Let's dissect that for a second.
Just because somebody has a cool fucking space for a long time, okay?
I think I can talk about this.
I think I can talk about this.
Does not give you the fucking right to grift.
Chespy, before we get into the bullshit
and the trenches on Ape Chain
I would love to hear the good things that are going on
on Ape Chain currently and things that you like
you're always messing me up brother
you set me in a fucking trap again yo what's going on
man guys i just want to say man um there's gonna there's gonna there's been a order did uh giveaway
for apetian hop all you have to do is just guess the token id for the board that is gonna be
giving away to one of the top four of the spotlight winners.
Yes, and my first, also $250,000 was injected to the liquidity, you know, on batches.
And not just that, not just that, ApeChain Hub has a new motherfucking website where you guys,
And if you're not tapping with ApeChain yet, oh, my God.
What can I tell you, right?
There's a lot of builders, a lot of grinders right there, a lot of amazing people that is building, amazing floor prices and low interest right now.
And if you want to build and invest on a grinder and a builder right now, make sure you go and check it out.
You know, I'm not here to sell you shit, but the only way you can find out is just to tap in.
Profits, you know, Ape Chain is cooking.
And if you want to have fun, just go.
Man, I think it's the only way.
Pin that to the bottom, and then I'll put it to the top.
So this is what we're going to do.
Profits is in, it's 830 at night.
It's not corporate hour anymore.
It's going to be one of those long, one of those long, Chicago, it's one of those long,
think OG books and profits before that fucker turned disgusting like that.
Like one of those long, nasty.
I want to know from the crowd.
Also, if you're in the listeners, please comment below.
You can also answer this question.
I would like to know what you guys...
You're going to hear something.
I'm going to play something.
I would like to hear a simple answer to this question.
Would you or would you not trust and buy anything from this person his old Twitter profile where he's
claiming that he's the boss of mock-averse and the number one NFT in the
collection has a name and you go fucking and the name of the NFT go to the
It's the boss, bro, because I am the boss of Mokaverse.
And I'm going to the chat of Mokaverse.
And the CEO of Mokaverse, Tyler Durden Burden.
Yeah, he just feared my power in the community because he came in and said,
oh, James, why do you do that AIP with the spaces funding?
And GSS wanted to do it and wanted to divide the community,
and then everyone in the Mocaverse discord went on my side against the CEO,
and then he had no other chance than deleting me from
get co-host privileges, so do you
Brad. Are you buying something
from this individual or not?
It's going to have to be a hard pass for me.
I think we're wrong, though, Brett.
I don't care if it's wrong or right.
I'm not buying that shit.
What the hell did I just listen to?
What shit profits? I just wanted you guys all to hear that.
The complete opposite for Chicago.
Maybe I come back later in an anon and no recording or something.
In short, I'm waiting for somebody to come up and say that's the main reason
why I'm kind of fucking around, but it's still relevant.
Okay. So that was on a space earlier that was not recorded. And you guys, that's another thing. You
guys, I'm talking, you ducks, man. You guys are quacking like a duck. You guys are slick. Oh,
we're going to have a real honest space and let everybody talk. Yeah. And it's not recorded. Okay,
fuckhead. Yeah. Yeah. Real productive. Real productive, buddy.
But apparently today on ApeChain, a really cool founder, Web2 founder, apparently they like customized sneakers, which I think is dope.
I've seen them for years, customizing people's sneakers.
They decided to go on chain as a Web2 company and launch a project.
Apparently the person or group behind this project,
quote unquote, death team,
apparently manipulated the metadata
and was able to see what, I mean, let's be real.
Remember back in 2021 when this shit came out?
I'm sure we all remember when the,
oh, you manipulated the metadata.
I remember when this shit,
when we all learned a lesson in this space in 2021.
remember. And, uh, it was like, yo, how the fuck is this happening? And then a smart little
motherfucker of 78 followers. I don't generally remember this whole story, but my point is
somebody spoke up and said, Hey guys, by the way, it's a, the chain doesn't lie. You can't
manipulate this. So anyway, that was unfortunate. I'll pin some stuff to the top um so for some receipts for
anybody that's curious i you know my hat goes off and my heart goes out to to that team um because
that sucks to deal with you know i never talk good about fucking ape chain shit but i will
freshest kicks are fucking solid they're solid people i like what they've done since they did
in the beginning they dropped something without realizing that it wasn't going to get randomized.
The team from some fucking DAO or whatever the fuck it is didn't put it up with any randomization,
so they bought whatever mythical fucking rares there were.
This just also goes to prove that Ape Chain is fucking stupid and the devs on it are mostly stupid,
but Fresh's Kicks is great, and I just wanted to throw that out there and I hope they fix it what
they should do is they should just take the ones that were minted by that group
and fucking remove the metadata and make them say nothing and then just raffle
the other ones off and then people get cool shoes and that's the simple
solution for it because those people do pretty affordable and reasonable
customs minus the one they did for Jerryerry and and fucking gary v but aside from those two i liked all their customs right so you know
and this is thank you for saying that because i i love that i know for a fucking fact uh i haven't
done this in a while by the way this is how you know that i care if i if i do this that means i
care meaning record a fucking space go fucking listen my dms are discussing are discussing right now, asking, hey, what does this mean?
Hey, what is this? Who's that? What are you talking about?
Right? This is my investigative journalism here.
Because I genuinely care, and I don't like to just say basic claims.
It's sick, but, like, exposing and putting shit together on Twitter
has been the new thing to do to get attention.
I've never done that for attention.
To be honest, I've done that so I could separate myself from people who don't want to speak on
things, especially when they know what's happening. I don't want to be around weak fucks,
respectfully. It's okay to not say things at certain times. That's fine. But I don't want
to be around fucking people that don't think for themselves. I don't.
But the point I'm getting at is that fucked me up today because for a long time I've been seeing
a weird energy go to Ape Chain. I love Ape Chain. I love the people building on Ape Chain. I love
the people helping it. And I'm not just saying that. Before Ape Chain was a thing, before my AIP
was a thing, I've been saying I fucking,
my fucking ape is in Wynwood. I have apes everywhere. The point is I love this, this
eco of based off the people I've met. And when I see this weird grifty shit go on and it comes
out to light the way it did today, it really hurts me. It really bothers me because it's like,
the way it did today, it really hurts me. It really bothers me because it's like,
oh, profits. I swear to God, I got 10 DMs today. Damn, yo, I remember blah, blah, blah. Oh,
I remember da, da, da. And I'm like, I don't want to be right. I wish I wasn't. I don't want to hear
that. I don't want to say I told you, so I'm never going to say that. But this is like the fucking
2021, 2022 playbook. Let's run spaces all day long. Let's act like we're there
for the community. Let's act like we, well, we pumped your space or we minted out your collection
or we've done shit like this and throw shit in your face all the fucking time. Like that's whack.
Like that's lame. And there's nobody's fault for this, but you don't see, and I see why ecosystems and even Yuga Labs for a long time, they didn't want to fucking support anybody.
I think Garner or one of them said this in a tweet.
And I'm not saying they're right or wrong.
I'm saying it's hard to repost and support shit that you don't know who the fuck is behind it.
You don't know who's who.
And so I feel like now with this whole Ape Chain integration,
everyone's just been excited the last 100 and whatever days. It's been hype since Ape Fest.
Let's build on Ape Chain. Let's be the first this on Ape Chain. And it's been very meshy with decent,
good people that I can speak for because I've met them and shook their fucking hand,
as well as slimy people that unfortunately i've also met them as well and
and it sucks because at first it's like i can't you can't say that prophets you don't really know
the truth you know even though the motherfucker looks like a crackhead and brown teeth and talking
wild we cannot judge people right we gotta let the fucking chain do the talking understood
under fucking stood okay so that's irrelevant but i digress i'm landing this plane i need to
check if the ubers here but showbiz appreciate you being here uh g's here as well wow i know
what i did to get that guy's attention what's up g welcome to the stage yeah so probably so
so now uh everybody else is here um you know i and uh yeah especially uh some people that are
here like michael because um you know, I got to keep it.
I come from motion pictures.
And so, you know, I'm used to being behind like five increasingly like from from 50 to now 5000 page NDAs and deal memos.
So I understand brand risk and all that shit.
So I'm not going to try and fuck up anybody's game here by speaking out of pocket.
So I'm not going to try and fuck up anybody's game here by speaking out of pocket.
You know, you quoted, you played the soundbite that includes me being mentioned in a squabble with James way back
that included the head of projects for Animoca Brands, right?
Tyler, he called him Diler, what did he call him?
Dirty Durdin or whatever the fuck.
he's wild he's a wild man james that's typical of the calls i have with the dude by the way
That's typical of the calls I have with the dude, by the way.
and then um so uh then uh you know like this guy gets around and he's sharp right james is sharp
and you know i consider them you know it's like i'm on some don't hate the player hate the game
if anything right we're all trying to move in this space and a lot of people are uh uh you know whatever so i i just watch my six my whatever and uh with that let me just see how let me just
say how you know much i want to protect my garden the the the mo i'm trying to achieve
yasu who is like you know the treasure behind that guy and what is you know going on with them
and working with regulatory landscape in hong kong whatnot you know he gets james that dude come up with that tone and with that head of projects
tyler standing beside him and then james start going like to talking to yat while the guy's
right beside him and not looking the other guy in the eye and say yeah when are you gonna get
rid of your little boy here this little punk guy like he's got a
rapport with yeah and he just like dresses down the other guy while he's standing right beside
yeah and um and yeah it has to sit there and you know be yeah and not uh you know get out of pocket
and get let things get too wild right at places that are you know big stages like yeah it's on
stage at world economic forum and stuff right so It's just coming from that lens a bit.
I'm trying to keep it real, whatever, and allegedly.
By the way, thank you for saying that.
By the way, he was on the DAO, yeah?
I remember his β because he had a different PFP.
He was with Mochaverse officially or no?
So the story of his association with his association with, uh, Animoca is that, um, that he's in this one, I mean,
he's very OG and knows his way around this space.
He's sharp as a tack and, um, he's made movements for a long time.
He's in as expertise in putting together DAOs,
understanding how all that works with foundations and everything.
And does that, uh, um, you know, it does a lot of things. And, uh, so yeah,
I showed that to James for all that they know and that they've done across the
space for a very long time.
So they built one of the first DAOs.
It was the first DAO that Animoca brands picked up.
It's Lympho DAO, L-Y-M-P-H-O.
They deal with a lot of sports celebrities and they have a bunch of big contacts and they do, you know, a lot of things.
And so Animoca took that on.
And they also had another community that was centered around the chess,
and what eventually became Annie Chess, with Animoca brands taking that on,
with Magnus and all these other people.
It's a big thing with chess.com and stuff.
And what happened was, James thought that they got, I don't know, vampired or whatever, maybe.
So there was a squabble that ensued, and so every a vampire or whatever maybe uh i'm not sure but um so there was a squabble that
ensued and then so every you know a couple months or whatever he retweets yeah and says like you
know counting down the or you know fifth attempt to get these guys to come correct or whatever
uh one of those tweets and then um but the situation with uh tyler became that uh so we
have an amoka as many people know has the mocha verse and that uh one of the first value props for the
nft collection was that we would be delegated uh or allocated a large percentage of animoca brands
voting power in the apecoin dow and so we'd be a large delegate that had the biggest swing or you
know not the biggest swing at the time was 2.5 milli or something we started with um and um
actually was the equivalent to what yat raised on his his initial raise. So it was very small. It was a couple mil.
And then we, me and Mocha chief, another dude, were kind of like, we went in there as agents.
We're part of the think tank with Mochaverse and whatnot.
And so we went in there as agents into the ApeCoin DAO to introduce ourselves, start voting with respect and then um uh our voting delegation because we're a community of 888 but you know say
6 000 holders we are a federation of voters that need to vote as one delegation so what we do is
have delegations within our mochaverse that go and then vote as one uh binary in the ApeCoin DAO, if that makes sense. So James went and sniped the ENS, Mochaverse DAO.
And then he also put in his profile, boss of Mochaverse,
and some of the other stuff.
Very much created the persona that he was, as you noted,
and probably a lot of people had the perception
that he was something to do with Mochaverse officially.
And so then I also, you know, prophets who were, you know,
me, you lost and some others were very much in, in back in the day,
creating these spaces to try and support the DAO and create, you know,
things Al here was, you know,
supporting and Machi was through there and everything like that. Right.
So we're all doing our thing.
And I created a space that was a fork of the ape comms space which eventually became
ape coin uh you know intern i don't know who did that fucking noobies it wasn't me go ahead uh geez
oh i'll still mute it there but yeah no um so then we we basically created a space because mochaverse
had to you know gather and have these discussions about the proposals and the ape coin dial i just
basically forked what they were doing as a space for our community started these spaces and did it
for quite some time but a lot of fucking blood sweat and tears into it had you know from yatsu
to a lot of you guys have been on the stage from, like I said, Al, prophets, fucking a lot of people here. And then we had the, the chain wars,
right? And stuff. So we've, I did a lot in terms of like, you know, showing up for the community
and doing a lot, built a lot of equity in terms of what the space was doing. We had literally all
the leaders of all the chains on there vying for the ape chain. And, you know, I got a lot of
connects, did a lot of stuff uh it took a lot of
work in the back end as people know that host spaces having like 15 guests at a time during
elections and shit big names and um i fumbled a luke luke uh interview one time and um so anyway
all that equity and shit i invite james along at some point to participate because i need production
team and then he's very good at putting together pitch decks and shit.
And he puts together a pitch deck.
It's got all the slides in there.
It includes me, this guy, Mocha chief, and him and what other dude on my team.
And then we ended up in a squabble that sounded very much like that fucking call you just played.
And he's over talking to everybody.
My team fucking left the meeting and it ends up just with me and me and him.
My company's called United Grand Halls halls and he's like yeah it's just
you and your little hall like this and drops the call that's on a friday my space is on monday
i'm just devastated i'm dealing with all this shit trying to get all the stuff i had like yasu
mochaverse official on the account coming up it's a big deal for me and then uh on the sunday night
before the space when i'm preparing it, I see an AIP go in.
That's literally that pitch deck.
But my name's taken out and it's been replaced with him and like three other fucking people from his little team.
So, yeah, I see that and have to get on mic.
And I'm like, fuck's sake.
It turned into a big beef and um you know uh tyler the head of projects stepped in at a certain point because you know there was all
kinds of drama and fucking um he got banned from the discord and everything and it just got worse
and worse and worse right so that's the lore there um other than that the uh then they started moving, migrating more and more into the ape coin,
DAO, and the ape chain as it launched.
Geist, this dude, started these spaces.
He's another German-Italian guy.
This is my thing, by the way.
This doesn't mean it's the right indicator or not.
I follow every ape that's relevant when it comes to spaces
i met irl if they if i don't follow them it's because i haven't noticed their account or they're
newer ape right like just got into the eco like let barely any not even on twitter they just got
on twitter so that's also they're not talkers but for the most part everybody that talks i follow
everybody especially if i so for me a red flag for me, whatever, call it what you want.
I don't care. I don't follow. I was like, I don't follow him. Who is this?
So, yeah. When did he get here?
It started when he started those chains. There was like four followers and he came and I was noted today that, you know, his previous account, which was Solana sort of community.
And so, you know, that's not necessarily a bad thing i wouldn't describe intent there but uh you know he started
a fresh account and started these spaces and then james jumped in there i jumped in on the same
thing i was part of the i was you know lending an ear to this conversation which was him and uh
james and geist vibing on the fact that they were both italian germans and they're they fuck with
each other they're cool you know on some like i don't know they can get kind of spicy on stage and shit
and they're they're like strict and what you know like kind of um and so they vibed out and uh
started creating this back channel thing which became alpha bananas which you hear about people
talking about this this meant and this community and etc and then they started doing consultation
and that's where all of this start to their association with Fresh Kicks.
But all that aside, before we pivot to, or, you know,
before we get into too much stuff before I forget,
cause I'm blazed already.
I want to shout out Fresh Kicks who's down there and double tap on what
people are saying about them, especially a big Al who knows very well.
This is your yard, you know, real, you know, real, recognize real.
And you know, that's a real. And, you know,
that's a compliment to you, obviously.
And I hope that you understand that about me.
Like, I'm as real as they fucking come. I don't know
anyone that's more real for real out here in these spaces.
have known Dados, the actual artist
We did Romeo Must Die, and we got him
on there, because my job on Romeo Must Die
for fucking Joel Silver, one of the biggest producers.
I love that fucking movie.
Peep game, peep game, peep game.
Joel Silver coming off like
fucking, well they're the franchise king, right? Die Hard 1, 2, 3, 4
Lethal Weapon 1, 2, 3, 4. They got Jet Li
in the last one of that. They're trying to blow him up
so they do the next set which is
you know the series which is Romeo Must Die,
Cradle to the Grave, all that. uh they bring jet lee on as the star and they're gonna do hip-hop sorry
they're gonna do black gangs in oakland versus asian gangs in oakland and it's a big war thing
and they need they want to do it fucking real dead real authentic and they need a consultant
there you go your boy gee i get hired on as a researcher and rent not right and fucking up my game from there was like my second picture um and so uh yeah rest in peace dark man x and
alia for real for real i made a lot of connects because my actual game outside of that was putting
on hip-hop r&b reggae events and shit and uh you know after i was i'm in the game too it's no secret
so we did a lot of shit and uh hip-hop's you know i know all those guys so
in having to make things authentic on romeo bestai i look for the realist heads so the graph writer
that i need to get to paint the set that dmx is in i want to be fucking absolute legit right and
if you know graph writing the art of getting over you know cope to you know king's destroy crew
happens as i you know i put the word out to my
wolves and they fucking holler back right away and say yo this dude is the legit fucking he's a real
king right so uh this dude uh dedos i get connected with them fucking i know i'm around because they're
part of the rascals group if you know you know they're like canadian legends in hip-hop group
and you know dedos toured around the world from them.
So I knew him as like a dancer that like, and that's because I can,
I don't look up to them as much for the art as much as I looked up because
they can fucking dance and I can't.
So they're just a legend.
Go peep out their, their, their videos with Barrington Leving and what,
like they, they're real top of top.
And so I'm like, yeah, this is fucking dope.
And then one of the first AIPs,
ApeCoin Down Improvement Proposals,
was All Cities, and it had the Beyond the Swamp magazine,
and the artwork on it was Deros, the dude I'm talking about.
We need to get this dude in here, right?
So from fucking, like, I don't know, years ago, Prophets, I've been hoping this dude would migrate over here
because they're doing art and they're kind of fucking with the space, but I wanted him in our community, our pond, right,
and he finally gets here, comes through with fucking freshest kicks,
and then this shit happens with people I'm fucking fucking
with, right, I actually host the space, that space this morning, with Geist,
the Metaverse space, is me, the co-host this morning with geist the metaverse space is
me the co-host to give notes on metaverse like as the expertise on that shit because i'm a metaverse
maxi right and i fuck with these guys in the dms and stuff and i start catching strays and shit
it can get so ugly so fast dog and uh and like i just got up on all the stages right away as soon
as i assessed what was happening and he's like you want to buy my uh 50 deeds into central land bro
i've been trying to you know i got 180 other deeds in Decentraland, bro? I've been trying to, you know.
I got 180 other deeds if you're interested.
We can throw them into a package.
Trust me, you heard this.
It's very, very, very obvious.
Michael doesn't know the alpha right now.
Michael, I'm going to go ahead and call you tonight, brother,
I'll go ahead and take those off your hands, OTC.
Hold on. Sorry, I'm eating. I hate that. I hate that. I'm so sorry. She those off your hands. OTC. Hold on.
She's paying you in gang coins. I want to say this, though.
And thank you for that, G.
We need a one-on-one, my G.
I'm going to go ahead and DM you.
That's such a good fucking movie, dude.
That's so cool that you were a part of that.
That's so fucking cool. Now, can you... I love that you said all that to rap i was like where the fuck is he
going and then i was like okay he's going somewhere and i understand where you're going
you just said that somebody high level whatever web 2 come into our space witnessed this fuckery today, right? That is exactly why I have always been this fucking way.
At first, I'll admit, very spicy.
I don't want to hear shit.
You're next to a grifter.
Most of the time these days, I'm giving benefit of the doubt.
Even though you co-host with the motherfucker 24 7 i'm gonna assume you don't
fucking know that they sniff drugs all day and just launch drugs it's all right i'm gonna give
you the benefit of the doubt um but what you just said is exactly why i've always been like hey are
we checking that out hey are we paying attention to that um so what's his takes now is he like
turned off or what ended up happening?
No, this is the artist with freshest kicks.
Like, the notes, why they're the ones that they are, you know,
from the Shelleys to the Air Max to the whatever.
You know, you guys are sneakerheads.
If you know Deadstock, that's heads we roll with.
Like, guys that we fuck with kind of created this game that a lot of you my youth with all due respect you kind of come
up on our pockets you know what i mean what we built for real i'm 55 you know what i'm saying
so being around i before hip-hop you know the bars were funk bars right so anyway um all that shit uh
yeah that's love brother i'm 93'm 93, baby, all right?
So this dude, Dead Host is the guy that did the art for those,
and these are wearables on the other side.
Grab your pair that you're fucking wearing in the weather,
in the other side that you fuck with that matches your PFP.
That's going to be your avatar there, Prophet.
It's like, for real, go get a pair.
And, you know, these are trait-based and shit.
The mythics that James Snipe, they get an actual one-on-one and that you know freshest kicks is thrown at the hearts they'll
figure this out do it big chicago threw up notes for that freshest kicks at the beginning of this
stage and it is a recorder because profits come like that and so you could peep that out and take
some suggestions on that we'll figure it out i need some i need some metamask kicks you're getting
me foam on right now that's what's's up. Talk to me, brother.
Hey, what's up? Wall of guard, like an MF-er.
Hopefully you guys are doing good.
Yeah, we've had an exciting last two days, I guess.
I'm originally a graffiti writer.
And Freshest Kicks is made up of myself and my wife.
And, yeah, like G was saying, we wanted to bring,
we've been in the ape space for, man, about since 2020, 2021,
And we're big girls in the verse fan, you know?
So, but, yeah, no, we've been in the space for years and even it's
been cool been seeing big chicago in here too and um we've been painting shoes we've done over 150
custom shoes for just nft owners and we've been able to make some amazing um amazing clients and
amazing friends like even gucita's down there too. Jay-Z's down there. So many quality people in this space.
we bring something to the space.
And be ourselves with it.
We don't just want to be...
we grew up as breakers, B-boys and B-girls.
And for us, it's with that culture, you want to be yourself.
Everyone's got their own unique style.
You want people to stand out.
And so we wanted to bring that to this space.
And it just seemed like the next step for us to do.
After doing 150 custom kind of wearable shoes, physicals for people.
I mean, Big Chicago liked the fact that we got to do some for Gary Vee
and we did him Jordans instead of Dunks, thanks to his team.
But, and it's just kind of been, we've had some amazing opportunities with this
And for us, it was just kind of like coming on to Ape Chain.
We love what Ape Chain's doing.
We love how we've worked with Ryder,
whatever you want to call him.
we got a chance to work with him and do some wearables for Dashbow.
And we got our MBA license,
to have the Ape support us in that sense.
we just figured the next step for us
would be to do an NFT series.
And for us, if we're going to do it, we want to do it right,
and we want to bring some culture on.
Because, like I said, I've been painting graffiti for, man, 25 years,
and I love the culture with it.
Like, I love seeing quality graffiti stuff.
Sons 1, did you have a different Twitter, or it's always business Twitter?
The Freshest Kicks is our main shoe one.
So Sons 1 is just kind of my graffiti name.
We're based out of Western Canada.
I'm going to send you some pictures of my scrapbook so you can laugh at my tagging.
My name is Shanice and I still can't do an S properly so I just tag profits everywhere and my P's also suck
but maybe you can help me out maybe you can help me out of this well we'll work on that man that's
the thing too it's like and even with art you're you're always getting better even with the space
it's always growing it's always changing and so mean, unless you're not working on your craft
and doing anything, you're just going to stay still. So for us, we just figured if we could do
a shoe series, which we wanted to bring on Dedos, because he's, for me growing up in like 97, I'd
see this guy's pieces and they were sick. He just had such an influence over graffiti culture in
Canada. And like I say, he's part of a hip-hop group called The Rascals,
and they traveled the world, and so he still reps them.
But the guy's just original, good at art, good at graffiti,
and he's been doing a lot of stuff in Web3,
but we were just kind of like, yo, let's bring him over to Ape Chain.
So we collabed with him and did 1,111 shoes,
where he hand-d drew them all first.
And so he hand drew them all.
And then we added, then we ended up, um, and we figured we would do that and do, um, we
do 11 mythics in the series where if you got a mythic shoe, we do a custom shoe for you.
And then each shoe has discounts, but then also our next phase two, because we've already
created stuff with Rita for Dashbow,
our next three is to take the five different sets of shoes we created,
kind of like an Air Force One, a Jordan High, Puma Suede.
And we love the Puma Suedes because they were made in 68 for a suede shoe,
but then also for breaking culture, people rocking them all the time for breaking.
And so we wanted to rock that.
We got the Shell Toes, and then we got the Air Max 90s.
And so we did all variations of that.
And then that was our NFT series.
Dettos did a phenomenal job doing it.
And then, and like I say, with this whole thing, we're not trying to bash James.
We're not trying to ruin his name.
For us as people, we just wanted an honest mint.
We just want some integrity.
We want some in this space.
And so we did the launch two days ago.
And we were hyped because everything sold out in 28 seconds.
So it was one of the fastest, I guess, mints on Ape Chain, they said. amazing because it's and we were hyped because it everything sold out in 28 seconds so all it
was one of the fastest i guess mints on ape chain they said and so it all sold out within 28 seconds
which was amazing for us our first mint like you say we were learning brother that's well deserved
dog that's awesome i'd love to hear that oh oh thanks no it's been cool to see and it's been and
so then well don't worry that it gets more exciting guys you, thanks. No, it's been cool to see. And so then, well, don't worry.
It gets more exciting, guys.
And then the next day when we did the reveal, because we just did a 24-hour reveal,
people started noticing that there was a few two numbers got purchased ahead of time.
And it got purchased for a higher value and just those two numbers and so then so
someone started calling it out some shadiness and then we started looking into it and we find out
that all the mythics the ones that come with the custom shoes so if you get a mythic we would work
with you do your amazing girl in the verse profile picture or do your mutant and we'd work with you
or do your your pug uh on it but with you or do your pug on it.
It's a French bulldog, bro.
By the time you guys become our 51st state, I want you to understand our dogs over here.
Please continue. We're taking Tim Hortons, too.
We already got hockey, Bieber, Drake. Drake all of its coming. It's American soon
Nothing else to say he just gave up
Still sad about losing Tim Hortons next year
Really quickly fresh. I just followed you back. Oh, it's all good no but really quickly uh fresh i just followed you back um it's actually
perfect timing uh i'm sitting in a room right now of about i would say 150 boxes of collectibles
and merch and things that i've been gathering since 1997 things that are very close to me
things that are very sought after and i definitely want to add one of your kicks to this collection
That I'm building out this amazing display for right now. So I shot you a DM hit me up after the space Let's let's do something
Artifact dunks for the base shoe. Let me know I got you. Yo, can I add something on that?
I've been showing a lot of laughs to French cakes
Say he came to the scene.
I've been following what he's doing.
I mean, I had the few shoes that he has work on
and it's an amazing product.
I was actually very, very high for the mint as well.
Unfortunately, you know, I didn't participate of the mint.
Now I wanna sweep some I just to support and and obviously I'll be working with them soon
because I definitely want one of my apes or any of my NFTs on my shoes I seen
what these guys been doing and this guy does just don't have a support for a few
people he has support from legends on the fucking space if you know if you know what i'm talking
about man you you right now i know this is not about pumping bags this is not about talking
about someone glazing but this dude you know the only thing that people tells me is like bro fresh cakes is family
bro and when they tell me something like that bro that's it man that's that's full support from me
to you guys like that's it you know that's all i want to say man and you know congratulations
on you meantime continue building don't let nothing stop you. You guys have an amazing product that it sells by
Thanks, Chesby. And you know what,
we're part of a breaking crew called
Supernaturals, and if we're part of a
crew, we got to bring something to the table.
We can't just loafed up the crew, we can't
for us, our mentality for the last four years being in the space is,
what can we, like, we still get paid, but we still hustle our butts off.
We still, you know, we're still, like, we're a married couple, married 17 years.
My wife lasted, like, five of my jokes out of 10.
But it's, you know what, it's treating people right, and that's why
for our mint, we wanted to make sure we had an honest, legit mint, and so it was just
kind of, it was super, we've kind of been gutted in the aspect of, you know, you get
this mint, and then you find out after, we found out after that, we were working with
James and his team, and we didn't want to use his name, we're not trying to, like I
say, we're not trying to make a whole talk bad about people.
We're not trying to, but it's just, everything just kind of came out.
And you're kind of looking into it and just kind of had an idea.
We found out that he had an idea of all the numbers.
He knew where all the ones were.
And so some of them ended up back in his wallet, like seconds after the mint.
And it was just one of those things, too, where it was just kind of like,
it's just sad for our holders, sad for, because we just like you say when people are excited we thought something was off too when we gave away 11 shoes after the mint and nobody hit
us up like yo i got a free pair of custom shoes and so we're kind of like because usually people
are excited about it and so it's um about it. And so it's just sad.
Wait, wait, why did no one say anything?
You know, I think it's because a lot of the people who had it were connected with James.
And so a lot of it was set up ahead of time of who would get it.
Just because he had all the numbers, his team had all the numbers.
And so, and it's like, we've been working with the Blever team.
They've been great. They have nothing
to do with this. And we had a, we got all
the shoes generated through a gentleman
and he's been phenomenal.
with all this. And so it's been,
so it's just kind of, it's been a bit of a
whirlwind. It's not the way you
plan for your first mint to go.
But, so we're still working out
kind of like, how do we get these mint sticks back? they in legit holders are they you know it's because it's real quick
fresh real quick and and and i love how well like willing first of all you are to go into everything
specifically as much as like you do know and don't know i saw the post i think it was amazingly put
you know from a both web 2 web 3 standpoint especially for your
like OG community members um do you mind going into why you guys decided to to to work with
James and sorry if you said it thousands of times today I have my own hunches on certain things but
I just want to hear directly from from you as to like what made you guys feel like all right well
they're gonna help us out I understand needing a dev and not knowing certain things.
I'm very grateful for the people I've met in this space, like Bread and other devs that tell me, yeah, like, yeah, that guy's blowing smoke up your ass.
You don't need to use them.
You know, like, I'm really, really fucking grateful because I have sick-ass ideas.
But then, you know, I'm not a dev, right?
But the point is, yeah, I'm curious, like, what made you go to the dev?
Yeah, no worries at all. Yeah, we did. And, you know, James was not a deaf, right? But the point is, yeah, I'm curious, like what made you go? Yeah, no worries at all.
And you know what, James was our friend with it.
Like we met him in real life, met him in Lisbon, and we did some shoes with him.
And he knows what he's doing.
And for us, really diving into the minting process of it,
Because we did it where, like I say,
When we were planning this mint months ago,
we were talking about how much do we want to do,
and we were like, well, if we did 3,000,
and Dettos was like, yeah, I'll just draw them.
We're like, bro, you're not drawing 3,000 handmade shoes.
So we got him, so he's like, oh, I can do 1,000,
because the dude, he's an amazing artist, amazing attitude,
and he's a longtime friend too, so it's cool.
And it's just, so he said he'd hand draw a thousand. And so he's like, we did them,
we showed them. And then he's like, well, no, we can run them through a generator.
So then Dettles had to go back, redo the traits and everything. And we just honestly,
we just didn't know. Just learning with the minting. And we heard that, we've heard from
Blue Eyed Queen, she's awesome, she's a friend sorry i'm just i'm trying to double down on this so the the answer is he was like hey we
offer this whatever i could do this for you we're friends obviously you trust them already so it's
like a no-brainer in your mind but it was the fact that you guys met and created a relationship is
even even before that because we did some shoes for him so in a lot of times when we when we do
shoes for our clients we try to get to know them.
Like we'll try to make sure we can kind of like just really get to know them to make sure that we can produce the sickest shoes for them.
So we'll ask them questions.
We'll scroll through all their Twitter.
If they have Instagram, we'll check it out.
And we really try to, you know, just make connections with people in this space.
And that's why, you know what, that's why we have some amazing, like even Gutierrez down there.
RDL, we've met, you know what I mean?
Like people we've done shoes for are just, we just get to know them.
And we try to make sure, because I think we have the attitude of how do we make this, how do we go above and beyond for people?
Not so we can say like, yo, what up?
But just so that they can have that wow factor,
they can have that, yo, I want to support these guys
because they do good work and they're good in the space.
And so we built, yeah, we were friends with them.
And then even leading up to the Mint, it's been awesome.
Like, I mean, talking in the spaces,
like even just meeting Geist.
He was great to us in the space.
And then even Molly, she did an awesome job.
And just getting to know quality people like Chespey and like showbiz a bit more.
Showbiz I know from before, and he's super famous.
He's on all the spaces, big time.
But just before, we were promoting months ago, getting in these spaces,
building relationships, and that's kind of our mentality. If we're going to do it, we were promoting months ago, getting in these spaces, building relationships,
and just, and that's kind of our mentality.
If we're going to do it, we want to get in there, we want to do it right.
And he had all the connections and stuff, too.
And so we totally worked with him.
And then, and we, our mindset, we totally thought was all legit until it started coming
And then last thing, and then we can chill on this.
Thank you so much for your time tonight.
If you're just tuning in, we go live every day, 6.30 Eastern,
right here on X, Web3 Exposed, number one space on X.
Argue with your significant other.
We're live every day except Wednesday.
But yeah, last question is
what was the reason for the delay
of the mint? I think there was, I think I read something
there was a delay. Also, two other people wanted to
date. Oh, yeah. No, no problem.
Good question. It was, we kept pushing it back
because we had to redo all, because like I said,
Dettos had it all drawn and
So, oh. Oh, can I hop in here?
Please, of course, of course.
Okay, so, because originally, Dettos hand-drew 1,111 one of ones.
So all of it was done completely by hand, one of one.
And we were going to drop it, and we had all of them organized,
which ones were going to be mythic, legendary.
So we had it, which ones were going to be free and then the discount.
So we had it all figured out.
But as we were in meetings, we were trying to figure out,
okay, we want to do this drop.
And then it was suggested to us, you know,
it might be better if you guys have the traits so people can,
you know, it's more fun us you know it might be better if you guys have the traits so people can you know it's more fun i get it like for djins it's fun to look around for traits and trade and you know so ours originally was kind of more of a one-on-one art drop really that came with utility
so basically what dedos had to do because he's never he's never generated his collections before
he's done a lot of nft drops but they've all really been one-on-one templates.
And you'd love a lot of his stuff.
A lot of it's like classic hip-hop stuff.
And this is the first thing he's ever dropped on 8-chain.
So basically, it was suggested to us, you know, it might be good to like have the traits broken down and everything.
So we basically completely dissected the whole project into traits after.
Dedos was trying to figure out how to do the traits for the generation,
and we're trying to figure it all out.
So we're basically learning as we were going with this whole thing,
and then completely trusting somebody's team of devs to kind of help us out
Why the delay because we were wait, why didn't why didn't you guys keep it one of ones though?
Like I would have that's the type to like I don't I don't know why
That wasn't like still something you could have executed
I thought I think the one of ones is a good idea if they're all handmade. That's crazy
Yeah, yeah, I also think there was more value on that
Mm-hmm and would correct. Yeah, we're definitely learning lots about doing an Ft mint
so if we ever do one again, which I don't know if we will or not, but
We'll learn in lots. We'll learn a lot of this face and so
Yeah, so it's a but we figured we'd go with the traits in that way. You know, first, can I interrupt you really quick?
You know, you just put a do on empty.
The one-of-ones, all you have to do is just put blank traits and just name them.
And somehow you wouldn't be able to.
But there's a way to go around that when you're working
with devs they can help you
out with all this stuff but yeah
unfortunately it happened already
well that's the tricky part too
it's finding the right devs
so it's we gotta go to profits
you got some people connections
but it's and it's one I'd like to say
too like it was he was a big help huge help
right up until that and then for us like I'd like to say too, like it was, he was a big help, huge help right up until that. And then for us, like I say, we, we,
we try to live our life with integrity.
You need, you need honesty in this space.
You need some sort of transparency in this space.
Cause once you start having, and that's what like,
and everyone told us, you know what?
It will just blow under the rug.
The space moves so fast, but, and it could,
But it's one of the things, too,
well, then this is just going to keep happening in the space.
And it's one of those things where we're not trying.
We want to grow Ape Chain to be a chain that people feel like,
I got worth off those collections.
We're not just, we've been in the space for four and a half years.
We're not planning on going anywhere., we've been in the space for four and a half years. We're not planning
on going anywhere. We want to grow in the space.
So it's like, so for us to do
something that's kind of shady,
we were just like, yo, we just, we couldn't
do that. You know? And then
it was, and it wasn't even us who kind of
whistle blew everything type thing.
People started just commenting on it
yeah, so and then it all just kind of blew up.
And the next thing you know,
you have you in every chat and you got about a hundred messages and I'm at
work all day leaving it for my wife.
Did all 11 pairs get fucking sniped or just a few of them?
We know for sure it was a few.
We're not sure about the others.
Yeah. Like you have to assume it was was probably more the other people are just quiet.
There's been a few that's been come up,
and a few of the people who seem legit with it.
But there was definitely two right off the bat that we noticed.
I think because they kind of messed up with the snipe,
in a sense that they bought them, they raised the price.
There was only two that had a higher value
and then all of a sudden those two
were gone and those two were
And you can see the transactions in the wallets
where they ended up and stuff too.
kind of one of the things too. And for us,
this is not the way we wanted our...
We want to be able to produce a product that when people get it they're like yo this is
the shoes i got these are sick these are you know what i mean and then especially the fact is that
we're going to be making um just a few generic styles of wearables for these holders
sick you want people to be proud and hyped about your product and and like i say because for us
we the shoes we do are high-end.
We do, like we've done a few.
We did a Pepe Vuitton one where we turned the Louis Vuitton shoe into a Pepe coin.
And we do it with, each shoe takes about 20 hours, 20 to 30 hours,
because we have to sand it all down.
We want people to be wearing them.
So you got to like deglaze them all, sand them down.
And with my ADHD, I speed up the process a bit.
But then luckily, my wife is super OCD.
And she just got all the details.
So she won't let anything leave the lab with like, oh, she's on me.
You talk about quarreling with your wife.
But it's been an amazing process.
But it's just sad that this is kind of the way it came out.
And this is not the way we want.
We want to have it with honesty, integrity, and people to be proud of the Mint.
I can only imagine the, especially when you find something out.
You guys give me vibes of people that, like, old school vibes, right?
Not, you know, it's like, this is how I was taught as well.
Like, no matter how something looks or anything, you know, just keep it G, you know?
Like, obviously, move away from things you see are bad.
And then, of course, really, it's like a bubble and the shit pops.
Like, you have no fucking choice.
You got to, like, speak your piece stand on you know
for your own right reputation yeah and i think that's it like it's just kind of everything just
kind of that's a good way great way to kind of use an analogy with it man the way it just kind
of popped because everything just kind of went off where we weren't saying hey this guy did this
yo this guy did this and and we didn't feel right being like yo the space moves fast just just let it blow over just stay off spaces just stay off you know and everyone else
and it just it blew up like we were from people talking about yo that was to a fast mint too
what the heck's going on you know and then now we even have detective Prophets on us. You know? She's on it. You guys, you guys, you guys, when I saw everything go down, I was, I already knew.
Even though I saw the name, like your name, I was like, nah, no way.
There has to be some weird shit going on.
Shout out to Showbiz for sending me the tweets.
So do you guys use Angelus?
Yeah, that's probably the best one out there.
The only one that's really had that.
And it's definitely a French bulldog
and 50 food state. Here we go.
some Tim Hortons if it goes through.
No, I'm just kidding. kidding that shit sucks but we just
want it for america anyways god oh my god dude it's so wholesome caravana is gonna be in fucking
chicago in two years like we're gonna fucking juke out here at this we're taking it from toronto
oh shit i can't wait to see...
Is this too soon for an OVO joke?
OVO US or something like that?
They already got the store in Chicago.
They were fucking front-running it.
I don't know if it's still open.
Dude, actually, those OVO...
One of my first fucking craziest flips.
That's like my worst buy.
I got the fucking sample pairs fucking in my size from that first fucking pop-up,
and I paid fucking up the ass for those fucking things.
Anybody want to chime in on anything, please feel free.
You've been chilling. I hope you had a good day. You want to chime in on anything, please feel free go ahead. Chobiz. What's up? You've been
Chilling I hope you had a good day you want to show
Yo, what up profits man homie? I'm in the car with the wifey and the kids just finished eating dinner
Took my daughters to the mall because you know they out out of town because they all spring break
I am driving bro. I am right
You know, I've been getting DMS like yo showbiz what's going on? Why somebody talking shit about you today?
Including yourself profits like what the fuck? I'm like, you know, just chilling with the fans, you know, so
How does show this not have 10k followers yet? What is happening here? I don't know, bro. I have no
What I like okay everybody everybody in the there's a heart there's over a hundred people in here
If Joe doesn't get like five notice like five of you following him within the next five minutes like there's a problem
Yo profits, you know my vibes man, I'm I'm a positive person right because there's things you could be
Pissed off in this world, but you know, I'm retired military and after all the i've seen in my lifetime
you know yeah i get angry sometimes but you know it's there's a lot of worse things in the world and you know when i when i hear people talking you know i i immediately like what the fuck is going on i got like 10 dms
people talking like yo what what's going on why is guys talking about you
you know so me you me you talked so you know a little context right um
we was at a fest right and we got back home after traveling in lisbon and barcelona and
italy and you know just traveling right and the homie bouvet hit me up he's like yo showbiz
you want to start a space with me i was like well we're gonna call it let me buy a chain nfts right
because a chain had just dropped in lisbon and he he was like, we'll invite people onto space and we'll just buy NFTs and support communities to help build the chain, right?
We got our own fucking chain now.
So we want to support it, right?
And so, you know, I'm the type of person, I'll never drop a project, right?
But I support so many projects in
This space right and and he doesn't sell
I've been learning to try and sell a few man, you know, I did sell i waived my banana pass today
I'll i'll tell you all day. I waived that today. I'm not joking
I waived that motherfucker today.
This is a meffer made me travel to Paris.
But I find out later why.
But I want to say something.
I wouldn't stay on the fucking club if it wasn't for showbiz.
I'm also all about positive stuff.
I've been receiving a lot of misinformation.
Man, we've been in spaces already.
I know we're tired of hearing this shit, but we've been in spaces already.
Misinformation is always going to fucking hit your DMs.
Keep doing your shit like you always do, do man we don't need to defend ourselves
but sometimes it's needed if the is getting hot and uh and i just want to say man i hope all
this gets fixed because i'm all about community and i'm all about a chain yeah i think what you're
saying is important and you know earlier on the
other space like I was that's why I was texting you like I learned this the
hard way I'm an emotional motherfucker bro and I love it I wear my heart on my
sleeve and I embrace that and the number one thing and it's unfortunate and
overall here is when you start not you specifically, but in general, if we sound too emotional
or directly speaking more of an opinion, more than the fact or topics at hand, not to say what
you're saying is not factual, it starts to turn into a, oh, why do you feel like you need to defend
yourself? Why do you, well, you know what, in this case, I personally know you and I vouch for you.
I know a lot of others do too. And so when I that shit yeah i was like why the fuck is this i know the
truth why is this occurring however i get wanting to say your piece and that's why i want you to
finish as eloquently as you have been thank you chespey don't interrupt him again or i'm gonna
fuck you up um but but i uh i do want to point this out that I'm going to let you finish and I'm going to say
something really important because this is the fucking millionth time I've seen this happen in
this space. And it's happened to me. It's happened to me. I've had to rebuild this quote unquote
audience and community many times. And I'm okay with that because of misinformation as well as uh people
that may be around that are not around anymore but go ahead uh finish what you were saying i
appreciate it prophets yeah so you know we've been doing this space um then you know we did this uh
mega christmas space right i wasn't even supposed to host this thing um the person who was supposed
to host it which you know he felt he was sleeping and it's all day i'm cool with that i hosted it
right so um i hosted it 24 hours it was more than 24 hours without well i was rugged but i couldn't hear people for a while
and then but the space did not rug for a whole 24 hours it kept i left it on the phone on the
charger and went to sleep for like three hours towards the end and woke up right um and we hit
the 24 hours i reset it right you know like close out the app and open it back and
reconnect it and it i i was able to hear everyone so you know um guys was part of this space a lot
of people like chespe and a lot of the a-chain you know space people who spaces and builders
and everything right so my homie's like yo bouvet was like hey
we haven't hosted our space in long let's just do one more hour um of let me buy hn nfts and then we
shut it down so i get this crazy dm guys is cursing me cursing at me and and even before
that you know like james was from linsdale was hitting me up like, hey, I want you to co-host with Geis and all this stuff.
And I was like, you know, let me think about it.
Right. You know, I didn't think nothing of it.
But then after he cursed me, I was like, hell no.
You know, if somebody is going to because I changed because we changed the name of the space.
He, you know, he's all cursing at me and all the people
in the dms you know so ever since that day i was like you know what i'm gonna keep this dude far
away from me right and you always hit me up like yo showbiz be careful be careful you know and
that's what i love about you prophets you know you're always looking out for your boy you know
You're always looking out for your boy, you know, and so
If we go to support all these spaces, right, but then this guy wants to control the narrative, right?
He wants to be in 24-hour spaces and control every freaking thing
I'm just doing my thing, you know having fun with the people I'm with
But this dude, you know, I don't know
Jealousy whatever. I don't know. But this dude, you know, I don't know. Jealousy, whatever.
This dude blocks me, you know, maybe like a month later, you know,
Hold on, I'm going to say this.
Hold on, I'm going to say this.
Stay on topic, by the way.
If somebody is hosting or doing something that's pertaining to the same fucking ecosystem
as you it shouldn't matter a space title it shouldn't matter about anything granted granted
um you know branding and a brand is one thing a a title my fucking title right now says 18
trenches what the fuck like it's a branding and it is everything like
if you're a company if you're like i get that but if you're building in the same eco and then they
clearly asked you to do spaces with them you said you didn't want to do it with them whatever reason
i don't see the i don't know i don't it just sounds weird to me in that in that
in that sense it sounds a little controlling in my opinion yeah they kept like james kept dm'ing me like hey you
know you know but yeah you know like profits you know i'm all just chill vibes right so after he
blocked me i don't go to his spaces nothing you know you know we have altercations like here you
know here he sheds he said he said she said you know that we have altercations like here, you know, he shits, he shits, he said, she said shit, you know, that kind of bullshit.
I just ignore that shit, right? I'm too old for that bullshit.
I started going supporting other people that, you know, he didn't get along with.
I went to their spaces and showed support because, you know.
No, no, because because you know why because
he's talking about other people and here's the thing right for me i'm always like to support
the little guy right i i'm the little guy i'm always the guy who's gonna support the little guy
right and you know that's the thing right you know he he talks about a lot
of people and think he could get with get away with it right and that's the problem people been
letting him get away with this for so long starting problems with people and that's the thing i don't
like right so sometimes people need to not get knocked off their high pedestal. They do, honestly.
You know, and it's sad that they, you know, this happened to Fresherskakes because I met him and his wife and they're dope people in this space.
And, you know, good intentions and everything. And it's sad that these things happen to happen, have to happen to good people, you know good intentions and everything and it's sad that these things happen to happen
have to happen to good people you know but yeah sometimes people just need to speak up about these
things because this is how we this space grows right you know too old for this i'm just here
having fun you know i quit hosting spaces every day because my wife is like yo
you know like it's too much so tuesday thursday saturday you know i got all the people helping
out you know so yeah like today i'm hanging with family i'm getting 10 dms but you know yeah
that's it in a nutshell you you know. I appreciate you.
And, yeah, this was just kind of like, it's been a, I don't know, it's been a wild day.
I try to listen to everything, all sides.
As unattached as possible, you know, because it shouldn't matter.
Ape Train is the fucking end goal.
It shouldn't matter who's hosting what.
Host what the fuck you want to host.
That's my, I don't know, that's what I got from this.
Yeah, no, I just want to say what up to all the show business family in the car.
And, but no, yeah, and once again, I got to hop out.
I actually got to follow Showbiz's lead and take my family out for dinner.
My kids are all looking at me like, yo, can we go?
Check my timeline with the fam.
But I just want to say, Profits, thanks so much for having me.
And any way we can help out and support.
Yeah, it's been a crazy day.
I know me and my wife got about 100 DMs we got to go through.
And like I say, Ape Chain has been, we've gotten some amazing support too.
And we're just thankful for that.
And thankful for you and Girl on the Verse doing these spaces.
And so we can come out and help out.
And for us, we're just going to keep building, keep going.
And like I said, we don't wish bad on the Alpha Banana community,
It's just we just wanted an honest mint with integrity, man.
We wanted people to know that it was truthful, it was good,
and then when it all came out, we found out, no, that wasn't how it happened.
yeah we're gonna yeah we're gonna figure out what we gotta do with these mythics how we get them all
going and uh hit up hit up chicago you get two hours of free advisory from him on me go ahead
and hit him up he's gonna he's gonna help you out um enjoy your dinner definitely get off of space is all you guys bro appreciate you guys
hey profits what's up go ahead i'm gonna lose some signal in a little bit because i'm gonna
hit a dead spot um but i want to say something you know like in this space right you know
there's a lot of people with good intentions there's some with bad intentions you know majority people
I've encountered on a chain have a lot of good intentions to see this chain
grow right a lot of apes are wanting to support this chain because hey we're apes
we're wrapping the club hard right I mean I haven't seen you take off your
eight you know I don't usually change out my eight.
We're, you know, and that's the thing, right?
We want to see this change succeed, right?
Yeah, there's going to be people talking shit like Chicago all the time, but that's him, right?
He talks a lot of shit, you know, but it's all good.
it's all good yeah with good reason i know right but you know poppy was telling me yo eddie you
don't have to defend yourself right because there's a lot of other people that are defending you right
because they know how i am i go to irl i don't give care to i don't care if people know, you know, they know me, they know, you know me, prophets.
I go take my family places, you know.
I don't have to sugarcoat anything because I don't depend on this space for my well-being.
Retired military, 100% disabled because of all my injuries, right? I don't need this space
But I'm here because I love this space. I love the tech that people are building. I love the networking
I get to travel with some dope people and meet some cool people and hang out, you know, cuz
People you know a lot of my friends
are military they're busy with families they're all over the world in different countries
you know and this space is fun you know and that's the thing right i'm here because it's fun
and that's the thing people leave because when it's not fun anymore
leave because when it's not fun anymore.
Because of people doing stupid
going to be the way I am.
Hey, have a great night,, I got I got a drop down. Thanks Papa for doing this and
Yeah, thanks show but keep going you're killing it. God bless guys. Yeah
Yo, I don't know if I should speak or not
I don't want Prophet to actually cheat
she can KO me like one punch
everybody wants to have a
I hate the shit that everybody wants to fight
for a spot when this is a fucking
free space. And everybody can
do anything they want, man. And
you know, cultures are going to exit
Yo, just continue doing your shit, man.
The support is always going to be there because
you're real and you're not a fucking shit.
That's all I want to say, man.
barking at me crazy right now.
When the fuck are we going outside?
Let me go to the... Oh, I see a hand.
It's good things. My God.
GT. GT. What's up, brother? I better wrap up. What's good? Yeah, no, I see a hand. It's good things. My God. GT.
Yeah, no, I know you're trying to get out of here.
And I appreciate you bringing me and Polymath up.
I was just really fucking touched by what Showbiz just said.
Like, I know we've been following each other.
I don't think I, I think we've been on Spaces or something.
Like, that's probably how we got connected.
We're definitely in different parts of the industry and different ecosystems but um what you just said like really it really
touched me like i'm i'm i'm kind of speechless because uh this is something me and polymath
been talking about a lot we've been thinking about this for a very long time it's really what brought
me into the industry to work full-time you know i used to work uh you know outside of this industry
and some pretty big companies.
And what really got me in here wasn't the fucking money.
Like I was already doing all right, you know, being in here since 2017.
It was the fact that you could connect with people.
And something that I was so passionate about, the technology here, the innovation, the disruption of the traditional financial system, that's all well and good. But when you tell me that I can hang out with dope fucking people,
and especially what he just said, traveling around, around,
all around the world, like a lot of us have been able to do that.
I'm very fortunate. I realized not everybody can,
but it has changed my fucking life.
Like I've met so many amazing people, including you profits, our IRL,
Michael K down there, you know, up here, fucking so many amazing people.
And, and there's so many of us
here and we've been in disjunct um you know like ecosystems this whole time and there's a lot of
war warring going on around you know like market share and all this and even within where me and
polymath live right now where we spend a lot of our focus in the ordinal's ecosystem there's a lot
of warring happening and it's a it's out of like uh you know fear of scarcity right that there's
not enough opportunity that there's not enough capital that there's not enough um you know left
to be built here in terms of of an industry and market cap and that's just not the case and you
know what he just said about fun like that's literally the fucking thing i've been saying
forever i've got several tweets that just you know went viral because the basic message is just like
if you want people to come to your thing make it fucking fun and so i just was really touched man
um i definitely i'm gonna send you a dm i'd love to connect further hopefully we get meet um you
know a lot of us will be in vegas for the btc conference but if not there somewhere else so
anyway shout out to you, Profits.
No, and I didn't want to, you know, probably say something earlier about like, you know, her having to rebuild herself from all the negativity and nastiness and showbiz even having to like address that.
Like, I do think that we should stand up and like, you know, us that's not into drama, us that's in building, we're not allowed on the timeline with negativity and we don't try to
give that energy right but i but i do think we should stand up for ourselves and not allow these
people to bully us and like you like try to control like the narrative right so you know i uh
that's why i was right with private standing for a show show biz i like i like what you were saying
how like you know again you're not here for nothing but to be authentic and raw and i do think
you know like the narrative of bitcoin is changing or for nothing but to be authentic and raw and i do think you
know like the narrative of bitcoin is changing or not bitcoin but crypto i'm sorry crypto as a whole
is changing and at this point like you can't just pull up again i said earlier with nice white
papers or you know like some good facade you actually got to be authentic real providing
some type of real value and uh and and the people who not typically are the ones that's the loudest
on the timeline and we as a collective community need to get rid of those people and put their lights out.
So, you know, I do stand with showbiz and with that.
And I think we need to stand up for more because, you know, we look at it as not trying to be in a drama.
But these motherfuckers is coming for us constantly.
And if we don't, you know, like defend ourselves, it looked like, it looked like they're right. So, you know, I do want to encourage and strengthen
everybody to stand for the truth, you know, push, you know, push the proper
narrative. And, you know, let's not let
negatively like dominate because they're willing to, you know, play a game that we
all think that we know it's a bad game to play. So let's put their fucking
lights out. So much love to Provis, much love to showbiz and everybody on the stage.
And, yeah, let's fucking go.
Hey, Pauly, you know, people mistake my kindness and my gentleness for, you know,
they don't know the real motherfucker who's been in the
military for over 20 years, right?
Well, you know, it's funny.
down there. I met him at a Denny's at like
2 in the morning on some like thug shit
up in fucking Miami. And people don't know, like, bro, I come from a 14-year-old mom. You know, people see 2 in the morning on some thug shit up in fucking Miami.
And people don't know, like, bro, I come from a 14-year-old mom.
You know, people see me in the meeting in 3P2 with Michael Settler.
They don't know I grew up in the hood gangbanging and all that stuff.
And so, like you say, bro, I already resonate with you from just listening to you, you know, real, recognized, real.
And, you know, we all go through a different path.
But, you know, if you go through certain things, it's different ways to enter the house,
and I can definitely tell that you are authentic, so you know what I mean?
So, yeah, and that's why, bro, I'm the type of person that, like, you know,
you know, want to stand with you and really, like, amplify the message that you was saying on the stage tonight.
I hope if anybody took something from today, okay, it's this.
If it walks like a duck, acts like a duck, quacks like a duck.
Make sure you get extra credit right now.
If you ever got extra credit in your fucking life,
you got an opportunity right now.
