And so she's literally gave me like four blonde roast coffee.

That wasn't good. So I had to remedy
that. And the second time, you know, I had the truck locked. And this time it just the mama bear
went straight for that shiny tent, look like a space tent. She didn't like the color. I don't
know what it was. She just totally mauled the tent. And she was pulling out a tote you know like a big box black box kind of
looked like a cooler I assumed by that time I had already leapt out of my teardrop proceeded to turn
on my gas generator which probably made the loudest noise because I wasn't making enough
noise obviously it was still there I was like shouting through it through the window of the trailer fam it was insane and uh yeah luckily they just ran off you know like the little black bears
they are and uh yeah that's what black bears you know they're they're fine it's it's the grizzlies
you know the bigger bears up in alaska you got to worry about and i'm so so happy it's not up there because they do deal with those
yeah they're just after food and they're smart they're smart i think the central bros told you
uh anyway he uh you could see the bear's paws on his truck as well parked right next to mine
because it was the night that we camped out together you know i think this was like what
a week and a half ago almost two weeks now man time flies tricky and so yeah he
was there and his car was locked of course but you could see the prints of the bear and and and i
assume that the bear was trying to unlock all of the cars that were camped on the side of the
mountaintop where we were we're at the end of the of theaintop where we were. We're at the end of the top,
but we're kind of like at the end of the line of a full line of people camping. It wasn't
that private, let's be honest. But it was a nice view. That's probably why everyone was there.
But it was still, there were people next to us, basically. Not terribly far, you know?
Like, literally, I would say,

I would say about maybe, like, 100 feet away.
Maybe 100 feet away, you know, with sparse trees.
And it wasn't bad.

You know, they're really nice.

space. I don't think they're scared
of people in Northview at all.

Oh, yeah. The Bears will come out a lot more
when more people camp. And it was a busy
weekend. There was a lot of campers that weekend.
It was, like, a Friday. Yeah, it was a Friday night,
I remember, because Justin spent the night. He set up his own tent and
everything. And yeah, it was a bunch of us. And then it was so funny because I camped in the same
exact spot a week later. No bear, nothing, nothing. And there was like less campers too. So
I think it wasn't a very popular weekend. I know Labor Day weekend's coming up, fam. And so camping and going out and hiking and whatever,
that's going to be the new big thing.
So I'm thinking I may just avoid the mountaintop that weekend.
I don't know because everyone's going to be up on the mountain, fam.
So I just don't like people.
Like, I like people, all right?
Don't get me wrong.
People are good.
It's just like you want the privacy. are um it's just like people are privacy
I think it's more privacy than anything and it's like I just don't but if I see like one camper
next to me that's fine because then it's like you need that balance between privacy and security
right you're like what if something goes down there's someone there you could run over and
get help if you need to because seriously you're in the middle of nowhere I, there's someone there. You could run over and get help if you need to. Because seriously, you're in the middle of nowhere.
Dude, there's a trail, there's a road, and you're like miles from town.
Well, technically, you're like 10 minutes away.
But, you know, regardless, like if your car broke down, that still 10-minute drive is like almost an hour walking.
And you're like literally going down like a big hill.
Like it's a massive mountain top.
You know, it's the elevation that hits you first.
Like it's not very far, but it's a long climb.
So your engine is like, I think you're going,
I want to say almost a thousand elevation,
a thousand feet above from where the town is at.
And the town is actually, it's over. I'm not mistaken. I think
no, no, I'm thinking above sea level. If you Google, I don't want to get this wrong. Let
me Google this real quick. Woodland Denver's the mile has arc. Yeah, well, Colorado Springs is
pretty high as well. But Woodland Park is actually higher than Colorado Springs elevation.
Okay, so over 8,481 feet above elevation.
So that's Woodland Park, right?
So I'm 10 minutes away from that town.
But where I'm currently at up on the mountain is 1,000 feet above that.
So I'm actually training at about 9,500 feet, right? 9,500 feet.
So a thousand feet more than Woodland Park on top of that. So dude, like my runs are so fast
because I'm currently in the Springs. Right. But like when I'm back in the mountain, they just
like, because less oxygen, you know, but it's actually better for you because it trains your lungs to sustain that much damage to your body because you're breaking it down.
I was thinking inflammation.

But we all deal with inflammation every day, right? It's just trying to abate it or
trying to subside it as much as possible throughout the day, depending on how much,
how much activity that you put, uh, against your body, right. Or put into your body. But yeah,
no, it's interesting, man. It's, um, I'm learning a lot, just camping, just kind of doing my own
thing. You know, it's just, it's really refreshing to be up in the mountains too,
because I actually miss it.

For a long time, I was in Washington State
for about almost 10 years
before I actually moved back to Florida
and I was living.
And we used to actually drive up to Mount Spokane.
I know you have family over there, Tricky, as well.

nice yeah yeah i've skied it too yeah it's not a very hard mountain to ski but uh it's kind of
small but with spokane being as low as it is because you know like the cascades are on the
west side of the state of washington right that's that's the mountainous side on the west side of the state of Washington, right? That's the mountainous side. On the east side, there's like, it's pretty flat, mostly.
There's a lot of like rolling hills south, I guess.
But more or less, it's not like, you know, there's a few hills, I guess.
I don't know.

But basically, there's just not that many mountains on the east side
until you get into Idaho, right?
And I know there's a really uh switzer
ski resort that's actually north uh idaho it's close to canada but i don't think it's quite in
canada have you been to that ski mountain yet tricky and have you skied uh switzer because
that's another beast in itself bro like that's actually i have skied switzer
yeah okay and did you enjoy it or what was your take on that yeah i thought it was a pretty it
was pretty expansive like i didn't even get to go to like all the trails like all the passes
you know like it was so big like for one day you need to be there for weeks man just to explore it

thing in the morning and they got night skiing on a couple spots so you can like ski forever yeah
yeah that's a dream that that's what it is right there.

was the main water park there
I used to go every summer

oh that was great dude that sounds like some radio quality stuff right there let's go
speaking of radio we do have it out on it we have a light radio campaign happening at the moment
she's already on five different stations between north carolina and florida
we have um a big college push that's getting ready to go on and we also have a Christmas
song that's coming out in September that I'm already pushing for box you know
for these companies that pipe in this song music into the stores so yeah there's
a lot going on for Maya that's awesome that's cool what's it like trying to get
her on the radio stations because like some every
radio station has kind of got like their different policy but like getting it in front of the right
person is is key um yeah for me with my background it's easy um they accept what i put in because of
what i've done in my career and uh it's even though she's an independent artist with her own record label,
and everything is in order, all the numbers are in there, all the metadata is placed into the song properly,
so they don't have, it's not done like an independent that doesn't know what they're doing.
So they accept with what happens, and it's easier for me to get music out on the radio than an average person.
Right. Yeah. It helps a little experience in the field.
People start to trust you. So yeah, definitely.

together, sometimes we end up just throwing our own thing. That thing last year was amazing.
I would love to do that again. It was like eight months of planning, basically, in order
to get that thing all squared away. But it was amazing. I mean, everyone who went was
just like, was thoroughly impressed.
It's kind of like a new standard
for Web3 events.

well so there were 16 uh musicians that had like multiple like they had you know 15 to like maybe 40 minute sets
um and then we would break it up with some other music and then yeah it was just it was crazy there's
a hundred different uh visual artists now we had some people like live painting as well
um yeah it was it was absolutely awesome i don't know what the actual count was.
I wonder how many people came through there.
There was a line out the door, like 50, 60 people deep for a good four hours, five hours there towards the end.
It was crazy.
Miami turned up.
There were so many Web3 people that it was already almost full, right?
And then not many actual locals got to come in.
So most of them are just
waiting outside it was hilarious yeah this year uh if we get down to art basil and doing that
she's gonna do a bit of a christmas theme because not that she just has the one christmas song that
that's coming out now which she has actually five and uh she has another 40 tracks on the back end that
is still in development but we all have backing tracks for every piece that we're doing so she can
you know handle any genre any any performance or anything we're going to wind up doing

I didn't have to go to the doctorate at all. It'd be so great.

Well, there was a time where when I was out in California,
I actually lived on a boat in Marina Del Rey.

I like to see different talents kind of like co-mingle and create new tracks
because I get bored of the same sounds over and over again.

Like you grab onto a sound and it hits, you know, the people like it,

But yeah, just getting real talented people together

I got into it in college.
We took like a little, one of those old school black and white photo classes where we got to develop our own images and everything.
It was pretty cool.
And ever
since then I've been getting more into it. Just knowing how to like frame stuff and having
the different perspectives. Just kind of cool. I got one of my photos into Art Basel like
three years ago, maybe four years ago. I got it submitted as a self-portrait. I submitted a squirrel on top of a mountain
that was in Rocky Mountain National Park. I was setting up like a landscape shot with like the
whole range in it. And the squirrel comes up and it photobombs me. And it was just like the perfect
timing. Like he just looked in the camera right as I hit the button. And yeah, it was perfect. So
I was like, all right, I'll just say it's a self-portrait, and it got accepted.
It was so great.
So bizarre, but also fun.
Oh, no, I was sorry.
I was looking for photos of mine, but I don't have them in my little g uh gizmo to bring them up but yeah no that's dope
yeah I'll probably do more like photography stuff but I'm getting known for completely
like everything else than you know besides photography I'm like I'm more known for
connecting people or you know for being in spaces or you know talking about weed or hitting a
bong than I am for my own photography oh not that's the guy who takes photography
like takes good photos but oh that's the guy that could have a 30 second bong
rip whatever I've leaned hard into the weed and it's actually really benefited
me so now I'm a spokesperson for the weed coin. And everything's been going a lot better since I leaned hard into, like, what I'm passionate about.
So I'm just glad it's more legal nowadays.

firework show at the end of the game there's there's a lot the meet and greet with maya so you know that's awesome i i went to a game and broke one of their games once like
so they have these side games sometimes like kind of like fair games right like uh one of them is
guess your pitch so you you pitch the baseball you you know you clock the speed and then you
guess the speed and if you can match it, then you win like a helmet, right?
You seen those?
Yeah, I did. They had something like that yesterday at the Threshers, but it was down.
But yeah, go ahead.
So I decided, well, there's no way I can match the strength and speed multiple times.
That's just very unlikely,
but I could use physics to my advantage.
So I held my arm back and I like pendulum tossed it
with just like gravity, instead of using my muscles.
And it clocked in like 17 miles an hour.
It barely registered on the thing.
So I had to throw it like two or three times
in order to even get it to clock into 17. So I realized, okay, so 17 is the low bound and all I got to do is another pendulum
swing. So I said 17, pendulum swung it and won a helmet. And they, it just blew everybody's mind
that was working the booth and they had to shut the booth down because everyone had like basically
seen how to hack it. This little 12 year old just cleaned them out they're like oh they had to shut everything down
I'm gonna use that the next time I go yeah when they bring it back man you get pendulum swing and
yeah somebody I want a helmet man it was great but if they do if they do it man, it's a easy win easy win a
