Hello, yo, yo, yo! What up? What up, Chili? What up, Razo? What up, everybody who's listening in,
tuning in later to the show? Welcome to Web3 Sundays, episode 217. We're celebrating
nine years of Cardano, man! It's crazy. That wasn't the topic that I had in mind.
It just kind of happened over the weekend. You know, the the news came out that Cardano was turning
nine years old, and it was like, holy moly! You know, we we weren't there for the very beginning.
You know, we showed up when Cardano was already four years old, right? So we've been in it for
five years. But just kind of thinking back to already how much time you know we've been in it,
and and everything we've done, and right everything we've been a part of ever since,
it's kind of crazy, bro. So, man, shout out to you, shout out to to me,
shout out to the team out here. We've supported Cardano. We've we've built out a little little crew,
a little community out here in SoCal, and and we've brought Cardano to the masses.
And and I think more people in San Diego at least love Cardano because we came around,
you know what I mean. So shout out to Cardano, shout out to to other products
or other blockchains that are are related to Cardano. So like Midnight's partner chain,
love Midnight, love me some some dust. I've been using it a lot right now to power some
of our transactions. I'll tell you more about that, Chili, but like. We're basically going to be
able to do like free transactions as long as we hold night, right? So it's going to be pretty crazy.
But anyway, welcome to the show, and yeah, man, let's let's catch up here. How you been?
I guess what are your thoughts on this on this nine year mark? Where do you see DRMZ
and where do you see Chile? Where do you see us in in the next few years?
The next nine is what they say, right? So if we've gone nine, then like,
where will Cardano be in nine more years? And that puts you in a in an interesting spot
because your your newborn now would be almost ten, right? Would be my daughter's age,
and and now my kid would be damn going off into her teenage years and you know
just different different worlds, right? That we're gonna be a part of. So, yeah, thoughts?
What's up? No, yeah, it just so happens that. Cardano's birthday also lands on
my wedding anniversary, so it's something I won't forget. Yeah, but it's pretty unique, you know.
And and and nine years, and man, it seems like it seems like so much longer, you know. But you know,
if we think about it, we're we're still like early, early to to the to the you know to Cardano
in general. And I think you know, in another ten years, it's just gonna you know it's gonna be
way bigger, you know, way more development. So I'm excited. Yeah. Hell yeah,
and and I don't know if Raza is going to be able to come up and chat with us today.
And I know he's he's a little extra busy and tired with the baby too. So I'll let
him request speaker if he can't come up. But you know, just kind of it's been kind of slow.
Like otherwise, right? Like family time keeps us busy. Cardano's been pretty chill,
nothing too crazy. I was kind of hoping that it dipped a little bit, you know,
that it went down to to the lows, and that I could pick up more. I did end up buying.
I finally caved. You know, full full disclosure. I finally caved a little bit
and I bought a little bit of ADA the other day. I was like, you know, I'm not gonna,
I'm not gonna scoff at like twenty, you know, twenty five cent ADA. So I bought a little bit,
you know, just to just to just to get the fix, because I don't know. I I remember I remember
a few months back, and I don't remember what what exact time frame now,
but I remember is around twenty eight right, twenty five cents, and I remember I was waiting for
twenty cents, and I was like. I'm away for twenty cents, right? So I didn't get my eight at twenty
or twenty whatever, and then it it bubbled up to like thirty something cents,
which is where I think it's going right now, or it's gonna kind of like repeat that move,
go up to that thirty cent range, probably dance around like thirty three
and thirty five for a little while before it breaks thirty eight, and then like forty five,
and then like these are the numbers that it that it did last time, so I remember them.
I remember like thinking, oh man, these are these are the moves that it might make in another run,
right? But like. Now, now they're speculating it's going to go even even higher because, bro.
When I think about Cardano just in general, like working and like how long it's been working and
nine years of development, no shutdowns. I'm like, dude, that's bullish.
Like that just gives Cardano this like massive, fucking like massive just bonus, right?
Like you've been running for nine years and you've never been disrupted,
and it wasn't for a lack of trying either, right? They fucking attacked our network like crazy.
And we just like boom shrugged it off. Ah, tank that shit. Like we're not going down, not today,
you know. And dude, it's crazy. So I I think that's going to be one of the things that I know
I want to talk to people more about when we when we talk about Cardano and and in crypto,
like the the fact of endurance and security and and just technology that just works, dude.
Like maybe it's been criticized for moving too slow, but I don't know, man.
I I feel like we we're just about to hit our our stride. And and we can develop solutions
that people will use, and it's just it's becoming so much more clear to me now. So I'm I'm excited,
bro. I'm like super hyped. I'm hoping we go a little bit lower. Maybe maybe
that we get like a little bit of a of a dip. You know, we close the month in red,
so we have to kind of go back down, right? Ping pong a little bit. I would like that, but you know,
we'll leave it to Razo to see where the numbers are taking us. How you doing, man? Pretty good,
pretty good. Just Been working on as much as I can work with my job and the baby.
I'm somehow I'm still trying to push some content out there, like the music video I just made.
But I've been looking at the charts today, and Bitcoin now broke a little support level,
so I think there is a little correction coming. Okay, okay. But I I think maybe the the bottom
was in. Maybe I think it got a little bit too crazy. I didn't want to believe it,
but the lines were there. It hit a blood level. It hit the perfect line perfectly.
That from all the way from the last from the bear market, I took the lat the bottom candle.
To the next candle, which happened like a week later or something, and that line right there,
which is pretty much called it. That's where we bounced, and it also hit a blood level, like I said.
So maybe this was the bottom, but I still think we need to go and retest like seventy thousand.
That's where the if you go to the Bitcoin chart and you put a two hundred moving SMA,
you get a line right. And the last time we hit it, we got rejected, and we went all the way to the
to the bottom we're in right now. But usually, what happens is we just hit a resistance level
finally, and I think we have to go back, and you have to like test it. You know,
it just happens over and over again in all these charts. So I think that's where we're going.
I think we're gonna have a nice little correction here to like seventy. Well,
the SMA right now is at seventy one one forty eight, and that also kind of lines up
with another line I have around there. So seventy one k, let's say. So I might,
I might load up right there when we get to the two hundred SMA. Might be our last chance,
or I don't know. Maybe the war gets out of control and we go to the levels that I was waiting for
down at what was it like fifty five thousand or something, fifty four thousand. But if not, then
if it holds, if it can hold the 200 SMA, then we know that this is bottom. Like for Shizzle,
and you better start buying whatever you want to buy because it's probably not gonna be coming back
for a minute. I would say. Yep, we start the upward mobility for those cycles, right?
And and people, you know, including me, people misunderstand that it's not a four-year cycle
because you fucking like rocket for four years and then you dump. It's like it rockets real fast.
And then it just bleeds out for like three years until we bought them, right? So like,
it's it's that early rocket that I'm like, man, we got to be on that. We got to just like be aware
of of what's happening, and and you know it's interesting too, like nine years of of an ecosystem
or longer with Bitcoin, obviously, but it shows you those patterns of movement that
you really need to understand if you're interested in any of this, right? The cycles of economics
and finance and crypto and and psychology and Yeah, no, it's it's just interesting, you know.
You know, looking back now, because damn, I I definitely would not have thought that we would be in
this five years in like this deep, you know, like actually trying to make business moves
and and and work with you know brands and and companies and and whatever to bring them on chain.
Certainly not developing tools like we're developing now with AI and and some of that,
and you know that was just unexpected. But we were in the right mindset with Web three in focus.
That I think it's been an interesting ride. Yeah, definitely, did not see AI coming back
when we first, you know, we met up and we're talking about blockchain.
AI was not really part of the conversation yet. Like it was the thing we would talk about, but not.
It was not there, but now it's to the point where people are freaking out,
including the heads of these companies. So who knows what the hell's going on, dude? Yeah,
I love the idea of of you know, in 2023, Sam Altman and Bill Gates were both keynotes
at the ASUGSV summit, and they were like, oh, you know. AI is going to revolutionize education.
AI is going to revolutionize, right, in a good way. And then, right now, they're both signing,
signing like, you know, sort of like throwing up the red flag. Like, we need to put a memorandum
on AI. We need to halt this shit. It's going to take over everything. Like, there's a risk,
a real risk. To continuing this arms race towards AI and ASI, or you know AGI, general intelligence
or superintelligence, depending on who you ask. And apparently that's a political question now too.
If you say superintelligence, you are like aligned with Trump or something
because he he he tweeted about it, right? It's just it's it's so interesting how politics
like just bleeds in, right? Yeah, it's it's kind of crazy. I mean, it's just so hard hard to keep up
with the world. Like the truth is out there if you think about it, right?
But it's like covered under piles and piles of like fear and misinformation.
Like I gave myself fucking cancer one time just Googling shit. You know,
it's like you can believe anything you want nowadays. It's hard to to know what's right, man.
It's going to get crazier. Well, and and that's a big one, honestly. Like that's huge.
We have to think about that a lot right now. That AI agents are are coming too, right?
They're like going to just be able to do things in the background. It's going to be harder
and harder to tell who's doing what, and and you're going to have to identify these agents.
And you know, I've been thinking about that a lot, especially as as I build out
Morpheus's capacities. And you know now now he can deliver ADA to you, and and he can deliver
stable coins or or Cardano. I think we're about to do a campaign with Starch. So
if you're into Starch, I believe I was hoping Shep would come in tonight.
He mentioned sort of wanting to talk about that Starch campaign, but I think I think
it's going to be like a payment solution using Starch. So it's it's very easy for me to add Starch
as a token that Morpheus can transact. Now that he can sign with his own wallet. So I could say, yo,
send Chili ten million Starch, right? Which probably like one ADA, by the way, right?
It's like super cheap. But what the point is, you could pay it in Starch.
I don't know exactly what the use case is for that, but but I know that there's like
a growing use case for agentic solutions that can do stuff with the blockchain.
And I was wondering if you guys wanted to like apply for the Prime. Are you familiar
with Prime Chili, the Prime, the Prime Group that put out a proposal for people to to put in
proposals? Do you know what I'm talking about? I think you mentioned it on the last space, but yeah,
just remind me what that is. Okay, so long story short, they got 120 million from the treasury,
and and then they kind of did an analysis of Cardano's ecosystem. So this is really good, actually.
Maybe if if one of you can go and find a tweet, or maybe I'll do it while I
while I kind of break this down, but and pin it to the top. But for Prime, right?
So like what they did is they they decided that they are are experts at bringing
total value that gets locked up to the ecosystem. They've done it on other chains.
So they came to Cardano. The community decided, yes, we're going to fund this. Like me as a D rep,
right? I voted for you guys. You're welcome to to fund this proposal, and and sort of what
that what that meant. And yeah, there was there was a little bit of controversy
because it did mean also approving. A higher a higher threshold of money
that could be withdrawn from the treasury, because this was 120 million. That's like pretty big,
you know. A lot of other projects are asking for way smaller amounts,
and and even they weren't getting approved. So to approve this one, the community
must have really seen a need. And the point is that that they got the votes, we got it done.
All right, cool. Now we have it. What did they do? They did an analysis of the ecosystem,
and they they pointed out. All right, where are you lacking? Like,
where do you need to develop a little bit more, so that people will come to you,
so that you will grow, and and the way that they sort of count growing is total value locked.
So they want people to come in, drop in. I think they said like one dollar,
fifty dollars for every one dollar of of spending that that they do. So if they spend one dollar,
the the people are dropping fifty. You know what I mean? That type of a ratio,
so that it's it's really enduring stuff. So anyway, they put out a list of like
all the different things that you could apply for, and and let me let me actually read you that list
because I think I think it's worth thinking about like where where might we fit into some
of this now because we didn't have apps before but now we do you know so all right here it says
it says Prime is a twelve month one hundred twenty million ADA program to build out Cardano DeFi.
It funds teams shipping the primitives the ecosystem is missing, with the target of 200 million
in net new non-circular TVL. So, if this is successful by the end, Cardano will have
200 million more locked up TVL from a bunch of different places, or more. You know what I mean? So,
it says we fund the build in milestones and support distribution into Cardano wallets, dexes,
and lending markets, open to Cardano-native teams. And to teams from other chains coming to Cardano,
right? So, like, all right, if you if you're already on another chain,
you actually get money to come to Cardano. Well, then we could be bringing projects.
Is the point now? Maybe we already have some that we could bring in through
through this prime partnership. Anyway, what we look for is TVL that is verifiably net new rather
than recycled. So, new people coming in and and actually holding their money long term.
Architecture that holds up with a realistic audit plan. If you're writing new contracts
and a budget that makes sense against the KPIs you name, so we could do that. We could say, hey,
we're going to do three events every year, and these are our metrics for growth. And here's
how we're going to track all that stuff. Give us this money, right? So, like,
it's up to 120 million that we could apply for. So, how much should we apply for becomes
the question, right? So, let me let me give you the the different criteria that we could apply for,
and then I'll pass the mic. So, one wallets, and and for wallets, I mean, we don't have one,
but we could apply under wallets. Through Morpheus because of his agentic wallet
and what he could do for us using Cardano wallets, so we could apply through that angle
where we develop that. Let's say we ask for like fifty thousand dollars or something, right,
to pay for a developer to work with me. And and to to really kind of build this thing out, right?
Like build out a platform. Like you were talking the insurance stuff, right, Rosal?
Like you're interested in that. So imagine that you had put some time and thought into, like,
you know what? Let's actually build this thing out. And and we do, and we apply for money,
and they give us the money, and then people who like the insurance plan, they'll sign on,
and they'll leave their liquidity, and we we start the good money train. Right,
like we could do that. So, all right, wallets is one. Incentive distribution, right?
Incentive distribution to me sounds like kind of like a gamified system where you go
and you do things and you check boxes and you complete stuff. Like it's it's just a way
of distributing the incentives. So it could even be email programs. It could be anything
that is just outreach, right? Bridging, bridging, which you know we could say that Morpheus.
Operates to some extent as a bridge when we give him the about the capacity to exchange ADA
for stablecoins, and at that point you're not really you don't really need to bridge anything.
But also Morpheus will have access not just to a Cardano wallet but to a Base wallet.
And to different eco, so Solana's Phantom Wallet, right? Like, so really,
you'll be able to tell Morpheus at some point, you know, trade fifty ADA for whatever that is in
Solana. All right, now go trade that Solana for whatever that is in ETH. Like, like you could,
you'll be able to do that type of stuff as we give it the API plugins and we build out
the capacities a little bit, right? So bridging is on the table. Executor scoop standard,
not for us. Vault standard, eh, not really for us. Curated lending, okay,
that might be like like kind of that's kind of the insurance stuff that you were talking about,
but but also just like borrowing and lending, like programs that allow you, you know,
now this is like Surf or Liquid Finance or or Ave or those big companies that have lending
and they do it in crypto. There's money for them. Concentrated liquidity,
automated liquidity management. Maybe, maybe that automated liquidity management, right?
Because the AI would be moving, buying, selling, putting in, or removing buys
and sells based on parameters that you give it, right? So like it would be following
your your instructions or whatever rule set you give it. So it could be
automated liquidity management to some extent. CDPs, I don't know what those are.
Yield-bearing stables, not sure there either. Where if if we would be falling into those,
probably not. Oracles, no. Perps, no. Real world assets and on chain credit. Okay,
see that that was more like the credit stuff that I was thinking about from the previous one.
So it must be different. So this is the one that I'd be interested in. On chain insurance, Razo.
There's a category for on chain insurance, which which means, by the way,
that you were right about there needing to that there that there being a need for that product,
right? Like the fact that it's on this list just validates a lot of what you were saying about hey,
this should be something we have in Web three. NFT marketplaces, launch pads.
Agentic infrastructure is where for sure we would apply with Morpheus in mind.
Agentic infrastructure, and then user acquisition and distribution. See,
so that starts to sound to me like we could throw in some social events and some shows,
like some of the social gathering stuff that we like to do. User acquisition and distribution,
right? So like we're bringing in people who are trying new wallets or new applications
or stuff like that. Then I think we could apply. So we might say we're gonna do a big SoCal event,
right? As dreams and and invite collaborators, but we're gonna need you know two million,
about like five million, like something reasonable. But like we're gonna bring in a lot of people is
is the call to action. You know what I'm saying? And then finally, the last one is like, bro,
come on, we gotta apply for this one at least. Community and engagement. Right, community
and engagement, easy. Like we do so much, and we have so many ideas for what we could do.
Like what we could, what we, you know, what I'm saying. Like this is where we have to shoot for
the moon, because they're gonna give the money to a bunch of different projects
who are gonna try stuff. It might as well be us. So is this almost like?
Another version of Catalyst, but it's funded through. Yes. Yes. Group. Oh, okay. Yes,
but but before you continue, it's it's run by a different group, which is important
because Catalyst. One of the main criticisms that it got is that it just kind of kept
the same people in mind. It was it became kind of like a little cabalish. So these are new eyes.
The the problem there too though is that now there is projects on there that did already get funding
from Catalyst. So you're kind of like, well, so that's that's actually an interesting point.
Continue. Yeah, I see the the group is called Alpha Growth, and I was reading a little bit about it.
So it seems, yeah, like you said, it's already been successful on other chains and things like that.
So I read something that their goal is to create almost like two hundred million TVL
or something like that within a year. So that's that that's really good, good and ambitious,
you know. Hell yeah, that's pretty cool. Yeah, we need to build more tools in crypto world.
I think so that more people can. Or I don't know. There's so many things that could be fixed,
and it'd be cool to start actually building those things and bring them to life in a way that's
more user friendly. So that'd be cool. Well, but here's here's the opportunity,
and here's the thing too. We only have three more days to apply, so the deadline for the application
is September 30th. So I'll tell you this right now: if you guys come to my house. Let's say,
let's say, well, let's say Monday or Tuesday at some point, and we just like sit down
for thirty minutes to an hour. We can knock out a few proposals. Like those proposals could be for,
all right, what are we going to do for social events and and sponsoring,
like we've always talked about a big SoCal gathering, but now with like real support
from a big group like this. And then with Razo, we could we could just kind of conceptualize
the first parts of of what is this crypto insurance thing that you've talked about,
and you know I I think that would be that'd be something I I would really want to collab on.
So I'm down to ideate and and put energy towards it, and you know we we could have
this insurance thing on on Cardano. They're clearly looking for it, and you're clearly interested
in that. So I think there's just a lot of overlap. And for the event and stuff like Chile and I,
I think the ideas that we've already talked about, we don't even have to change anything.
Now we would really just start to think about how we make these bigger, like how we grow them
and how we bring in like maybe some speakers. Right, some of the money that we get,
we could like devote towards speakers and and of course giveaways and and things that
that people will will value. So you know, I I think we should apply. We only have a few days,
like I said. The categories, you could pick your category, and we could just like send in two
or three applications. Depending on what we want, I know, I know, I would want to do one
in the agentic infrastructure category, but it also kind of blends into the the onboarding and the
and the social engagement because it's you know it's it's onboarding related.
So it's it's actually walking people through from the very beginning how to like what is a wallet,
how to fund it, like all the basics that you would need. They would learn it now
from our application. And then that would show that they're ready now to participate in
something more, like staking or whatever, NFTs or whatever. So you you have been fully seen it,
but if you go right now, actually, you know what? I'm gonna do one more deploy
before we're done here with the space, and I'll send you guys to the site,
and and you guys can check it out because it's pretty much there. Like we're very close,
so I think I think it's worth applying, and and I think I think we might be able to get it.
Yeah, when did when did that when did the the first application process start?
It kind of it kind of has been not sporadic. Like this has been up for a little while. Probably,
I'd say a month ago it started. But that's how that's how this space moves too. It's kind of funny,
right? Like when this first came out and I first saw this list, I really didn't see a way
for us to to Deliver and and yeah, community and engagement was like all right, yeah,
like we'll do events and stuff. But it's that's that's the least exciting of the list for me.
Like I would rather that they want to fund my you know my agentic infrastructure. But yo,
I'll take the community engagement. So I'm like, what if we just do two proposals,
one for agentic infrastructure, one for community and engagement. And regardless,
like if we get funding for one of them, like we'll keep working on the other one
because I'm gonna keep you know building what I'm building. And it's the same thing
with the insurance. I'm like, well, we could we could be Razo's like cosigners slash partners on an
on chain insurance platform on Cardano. You know, if if that's something that
that we are willing to pursue, and I think it makes sense. You know, having the stake pool
in a situation where we're producing like a lot of blocks and making a lot of rewards,
that that that money that goes into the the pool could, in some ways, maybe like a portion
of that could be redistributed towards towards this insurance scheme. Where where it's just a a bed
of of of support, right? Like a buffer of support that that's just sitting there
from blockchain rewards. So I think it makes sense to do stuff with that stake pool
and really keep the focus on growing the stake pool because man, that's such a such a vehicle for
for financial success. That if we just really Keep at it and keep growing, man.
I I know what it can be, right? So like, shout out to all of you guys who who delegate with DRMZ,
and and those of you who've stuck around with us, even when we don't mint blocks for like you know
weeks at a time. Like right now, we've gone a few a few epochs without minting any blocks,
and it's like, ah, this sucks. So I'm I'm eager to get back to the to the hall. We hit a block.
We hit two blocks, right? We hit three blocks. So we we don't always hit them,
but sometimes we overproduce and I I just can't wait until we're a stake pool that just hits
ten blocks every epoch, right? Twenty blocks every epoch. That'd be amazing. Um,
and we could do a lot of good. Yeah, yeah, hit it and stick around, right? Keep hitting it, hit it
and keep hitting it. Man, there's so many things I would love to build. I wish I I wish I was a nerd
and I could just code the shit out of anything. Like I was thinking,
maybe in Cardano we should have like a marketplace. Like imagine like a offer up
or an eBay kind of thing. But like imagine adding AI to that, and imagine
you can not only just sell, you could trade, you could rent, you could borrow, or give away things.
You know what I'm saying? Like, like what if you have a lawnmower and you only use that shit like
once a year, but like your neighbor, you know, wants to borrow one just for like the weekend
or something? What if you could make some money that way? And You could use AI
because AI would just go and search, so you don't have to go there and search for the thing.
The AI agents would just go and sort of trade for you. Maybe they can even bargain somehow.
That's one thing I would like to build. And now since I'm getting into the the AI music game,
which I just made my first video. Go check it out if you guys get a chance. I'm pretty proud of it.
Yo, it's cool. Like I only have like 400 followers, but I have more plays
than people have like thousands of followers in this one track. If you have if you have a good audio
right there set up, just play it, dude. I'd love to hear it. My audio is kind of whack on this
on this. Setup that I have right now, yeah. But that's another thing. I think
we need to bring Cardano. Just like, like take advantage of this AI music wave
and just allow people to like build their own like audio page, webpage
where you could sell merch right there and play your tracks. Completely decentralized,
like just like artist to to fan. Like, why the fuck do you need all these middlemen? Like,
I wish I just had a site on Cardano. People can go listen to my shit, play everything. You know,
all the the money just directly to me. My tickets directly to me. They're NFTs.
And I should be able to put whatever I want on that page. It shouldn't always just look like
a YouTube music page, or because these people are like stealing from artists, right? Like people,
how much do like these people get for plays? Like it's, it's like pennies on the dollar.
It's a ripoff. So that's another thing we need to build. I would like to see on Cardano,
and I'm glad you got that voting thing going on because that's pretty cool.
What's going on with that? Dude, oh my God! Let me tell you, it's it's been interesting developing
this tool. And actually, today, I really, I really, you know, I think I think there was a part of it
that was like here, you know, just kind of speculation that it worked.
Like I know that it works on test net, but but there's just different ways.
I'm realizing now as as I work with the blockchain that there's just different ways
that you can build a system. And and you know, for for my Senate, for the Senate at my college.
We need a very public system of voting that respects Brown rules that, like the Senate, follows.
You know what I mean? Like, there it needs to be transparent voting. It needs to be, you know,
what did Razo vote? Right? What did Chile vote? What did Rodrigo vote?
It can't just be like we all want privacy. We want like I voted, and I don't want you to know what
I voted, but that I voted. And anyway, so so I had to build a system where where they could vote.
And so we would tally together all of the votes, and it kind of visualizes their vote,
like like we would have at a Senate. And and I made it so that they could just super easily vote
from their phones, and and so you just set up the the poll, it lands on their phone,
they tap a button. If you guys wanted to try it right now, even like I'll show you how easy it is.
We could we could use it live, and then there's two there's two sides to it, right?
Because that was one aspect. Where I actually purposefully limited the interaction with wallets.
I didn't want people interacting with wallets because that it tends to be a negative step.
The minute that you talk and oh, you have to download this wallet, you have to download
this program. People are like, I don't know if I trust your app. I don't know if I trust
your program. So I said, okay, how could I do this without that step? Is there a way to do this
without that step? And and there is. So the way that it really works is
that like the person who runs the program and creates the poll has like.
The the secret you know backdoor administrator key right so they can see a lot of different things
and one of them is is what happens with the poll after it's complete so like right now if we
if we ran a vote and the three of us voted it's not over like for you guys it's over you hit
yes you hit no you're done for the clerk which in this case is me because I created the question
then for the clerk I have to now sign the transaction that actually puts the hash on
the Cardano blockchain. Right, so like my wallet does have to hit the blockchain,
and I do have to sign a transaction and pay a fee, and then boom, I've hashed it on the chain.
Right, so like it it it limits everything, including an entire vote of even thousands of people,
to a single transaction on the chain. Right, that's not desirable if what you want is like all kinds
of transactions like crazy. But it does satisfy the criteria of like you have something
that's publishing something on the blockchain officially. Like that's that's a working product. Now,
for the private side, that that was easier. That was like, oh yeah, for privacy, for private voting,
yeah, we have a fully private voting app now. On midnight, like it's on midnight actually. So like,
initially, this would this is what I was doing, what I just told you,
where people would vote locally, it would tally, and then there would be one transaction
that put everything on midnight. But then I thought, you know, I really only need that feature for
for the for the the public senate. For for private polling or even public polling,
it doesn't matter. But for polling, we could just do it where the person can just log in,
see that there is a poll, right? Connect their wallet and vote, and then they would pay
a transaction fee. Boom, sign, I voted, done, right? Like that's easy peasy.
So that's what we have built as well. Like if if the poll is live and you have a wallet
and you want to sign on and you want to participate and contribute your fee. Along with your answer,
then boom, go ahead, right? Like that's that's how I set it up, so you you can participate.
But but long story short, in that version, now you don't now you don't have one signature at the end
that's sealing the receipt. You still have that one signature, but rather now,
let's say fifty people voted. Well, then that's fifty transactions on the blockchain, right?
That's way more like oh shit, we we we caused some waves on the blockchain,
which is I like that system better because it means you actually had to sign something
with your wallet. And your wallet serves as your identifier, right? And and your way of signing. So,
anyway, it works. It's live. It works. You can have private voting, polling, public polling,
private voting for your company if you want something like that, or public. Yeah,
you can choose because we have both Cardano and Midnight integration. Yeah,
I was thinking about that too because well, I'm a mailman, right? I work for USPS.
I'm technically uh, I technically work for the government. And what's weird is that.
There's so many solutions I can think of, especially even if you don't know anything about crypto
or AI or whatever. There's a lot of mailmen that have ideas as to how we can make money, right?
Because the complaint is always that the post office is losing money, so now they're trying to,
you know, they go after us, the employees, to move faster because we're losing money.
So somehow they gotta like squeeze every minute out of us, you know, and it almost becomes kind of.
Abusive. So anyway, so I'm in my fourth strike. Like I have, I have four suspensions on record just
because I don't let these fools like push me around. Like I call my postmaster an asshole
a couple times or whatever. It's just my mouth. I have no filter. What do you want me to do?
If you're nice to me, I'm nice to you. But if you're a dick, I'm gonna call you a dick. Anyway,
so I'm on my fourth suspension, but I got the baby, so I can't get fired. So I joined the union,
even though they hate me too, because they hung up on me too before. And so now I join
because the election's coming up. In December, and I'm gonna try to run for shop steward,
which means you know I get to go and protect other carriers and learn the rules and drop grievances
and all these things. But I would like I'm probably gonna start a website for other mailmen
to give me their ideas as to how we can improve the the post office. Because you're a crypto guy,
and let's say I came to you and I'm like, yo, we're USPS, Rod, and we would like to update
our system. What do you think we could do? Like the post office used to have like checking accounts.
The post office used to give you your identification for passports and shit like that. Like, what
if the post office was the first thing to update in the government? It makes the most sense
because I'm a carrier. We go to every single house in America. We go to every single business
in America, and they're telling me that we can't make money, when there's so much like red tape
and like friction in the system. Just think about the DMB, or what if you want some sort of legal
or governmental form your taxes. The way we do voting and stuff, like we could get it done faster
in a day. What if I picked up your ballot and it had some sort of QR code that I didn't know who
you voted for? When I got back to the office, we just scan the QR code, and then boom,
Rod can go online and check, verify that his vote matches, and then boom, right?
We can do something like midnight for that. So, like, imagine all the things the post office
could do, or identification, or things with real estate and property and geolocation, right? Like.
What if everyone could own their own like area in a map of their house,
and they can change who lives there? So, or what if you could stop like junk mail,
and we could make that more efficient? Like, there's so many things we could do. But again,
this is government, and we're somewhere between like the Congress can make some decisions,
but then there's a union and the manage management, and nothing happens, right? So,
I want I'm gonna run for our shop steward, and I'm I'm gonna see how far I can push it.
They're gonna hate me at the union too, for sure. But I'm just coming from the outside, right?
Like I know about cryptocurrencies and all these technologies. Imagine all the things
we could do just to upgrade the post office, and that means our government that just works so badly.
No, I I couldn't agree more, and and I think honestly, just just that's how this voting thing came
to be, and and why I think I moved on it so fast because the opportunity was just there
in a real way, like you're saying, like this could drastically improve our process,
like this this was just like yo, how do I make the Senate experience better for any senators?
Who who already struggle with certain things, or or you know people people just have
different needs. So this takes all the stress away from the voting, not just for the senators,
but for the executive team who would now have really easy tools for managing the group. So that's
where it came from. It came from that need, that very real need at my job, and and I was like,
you know what, I'm gonna point my AI and my powers at this problem and see what I can come up with.
And and of course, I wanted to keep the the focus on Cardano and and on Midnight. So I decided,
for all the public side that needs to be public because of of Brown rules and things like that,
then I'm going to use Cardano as the foundation. I'm going to publish the hashes,
the attestations on that chain, and then for all the private stuff, for anything that has to do with
rational privacy. I'm gonna do that on midnight, and because we are holders of night,
then then we have already generated, or we will generate when it goes live fully, dust, right? So,
in these test net versions that I've been running, when you when you sign a transaction,
you have to pay it in dust. So you usually have to wait until your wallet generates at
least one dust. And and so anyway, long story short is we'll have plenty of dust that
we could let people use to try all our trans to try all our applications.
So at some point we'll be able to pay for a certain amount of people to use our apps,
as in not charge them, right? So we'll sponsor their fees for as long as we can,
so we can keep the app free. But like, imagine just how powerful it is to create like
decentralized polls. It's like Mentimeter, right? It's like Mentimeter,
but on on Web3 with privacy rails. So it's like it's Mentimeter plus zero knowledge, midnight,
you know, Web3 wallets, right? So same thing that you would get from a Mentimeter
or or those similar products. Like now we can we built something like that out of necessity,
and now I'm like, wait a minute. People would pay for this. Like this could be commercial.
Like it doesn't just have to be an internal tool that I make for my college.
It can be something that we say, "Yo, any senate, any college, any voting body, any HOA,
any any group, any DAO that has a need for a voting sort of a protocol," I'll call it. Use ours.
It works. It's on midnight. It's on Cardano. You know, check it out. And and you you choose
what goes on chain and there's a lot of things that I'm still going to build out for it
like now now dude now we're in development mode now DRMZ has developed solutions
right so like yay now we have two two apps we have Quorum which is the name of the app
the voting app that I just mentioned that's what I called it Quorum and we have Learn so we have
DRMZ Quorum we have DRMZ Learn and DRMZ Learn is super fun dude like. I I love this thing.
Like I'm having way too much fun making it, but it's a it's a gamified onboarding experience.
So so people, this is this is what I think we would apply with for for Prime in the category of
of onboarding and and and all that, Chili, because like community and engagement and you
and user acquisition and community and engagement sort of categories, because we're gonna bring in
new people. We're going to point them to this application. They're going to go through it
and and you know achieve all the things that they have to achieve in there. But in part
because we're going to go out to go and look for partnerships, so we can incentivize people
completing our program, right? So like now imagine that we go and we partner with with Midnight,
and and Midnight puts up I don't know 500 night for everyone who completes the Midnight sequence
in our app, right? For like the first hundred people, boom, we'll commit. You know,
five hundred five hundred night to be five thousand night for that. Whatever, like we could do
different bounties of different kinds. I was talking to to to Sean from from Strike Finance,
and and he might want to work with us on on a a Strike Finance focused bounty, where it's like,
all right, go and learn from our app about Strike Finance, and then go claim your bounty.
You get I don't know twenty bucks of Strike. And boom, you can go use you know
hyper hyper liquid on Cardano, right? This this Strike Finance platform,
which I don't know how you would want to market it, Razo, but like you're into those platforms more
than me, so I think that's a good that's a good moment to tap into your expertise and say,
here's how you market this platform, guys, you know. For the trading, yeah,
for for uh for this for this money that we're going to request from Alpha Growth, right? Like
how how. How should we frame what we'll be doing with that money, like to bring in new interest?
Well, first they gotta change their name. Alpha Growth feels like I'm buying dick pills
or something. They're gonna they're gonna grow Cardano's Cardano's wiener. Alpha Growth,
I need some of that. Give me. Yeah. No, but but I'm serious, bro. The money's there,
and and for once, I'd say let's shoot for the moon. Yeah, let's do it.
I'm down to come up with some proposals. I mean, I got a bunch of ideas. But yeah,
I'm looking at the chart. Speaking of the moon, here's midnight. Remember I told you last week
it looked like it was breaking out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do a little TA, man. I would love it. So
while you do that, I'm gonna pin some stuff to the top, and Razel will tell us a little bit
about midnight, and maybe Ada, and and I don't know if you want to cover another one,
but I definitely want to know your thoughts on where where things are going,
and where your lines are pointing. Well, I just posted on the comments like the chart of Bitcoin.
And there's a couple of lines there. If you look at it, there's two white lines.
I made a whole video about them. But the first white line, call that latest top,
and then the white one in the bottom, call that bottom, the the most recent bottom, right?
But then there's two green lines. And the last cycle, when we broke out of it, we retested it,
and then we went above the blue line, and then we came back to the blue line to hold it as support.
And then right now, same thing. We bounced off the white line that I had before it happened, right?
I had it on my X, but I thought we were gonna go lower, but Anyway, so we hit it.
That was the bottom, it seems like, but that was also the retest after it broke out
of the green line. And now you see the blue line. We still haven't tested it,
so that's where I think we're gonna have a quick correction down to that blue line. And if it holds,
then I think that could be the bottom. I mean, we're also in the the amount of time.
I don't know because Bitcoin seems to be just so rigged, dude. Like the cycles,
the four-year cycles, how it always goes for these levels over and over again, like.
So maybe it repeats again. So let's see what happens when we come down to the blue line.
So that's what I'm thinking. And then midnight, I'll I'll post it up right now.
But it's breaking out. But if Bitcoin goes down, um, I don't know. Maybe it was just a fake out,
and it's gonna go back into the pattern. But then where would it go? Point zero zero four cents
or something like that. Man, I don't know. So I'll post it up right now. Let me know what you think.
But you see the one I posted right now? Yeah, yeah. I'm looking so so so looking at the
at this uh this first one. Yeah, so so I you know it's it's at a that line is at a lower point.
Actually, it's at a similar point because that line from the red tilts up.
So I see what you're saying. It could come back, retest that blue, and then it'll kind of go up
for a little bit. Yeah, go back to the bottom of the last cycle. You see where it breaks out
of the green? It kind of breaks out of it, and then boom, it comes back to it to kiss it before
that was the bottom, basically. Right. And then that's the same thing that just happened on
this cycle, which also touched the white line, which was already there. And then,
and then once it broke out of the green, you see how it went above the blue,
and they had a sharp correction back to the blue line. Yeah, yeah. So it it goes above the blue,
and then it sharply corrects, and then it bounces up, and it kind of like just chops sideways
until it rips. Yeah. So it just has to hold that blue line for support, and then ripage.
So I think we're going back to the 200. I think we're going to the blue line.
So we're gonna have some sort of correction. So maybe we will get those cheaper altcoin things. Oh,
let's go! Let's go! I I would be you know I'm not even gonna be mad about the fact that I bought
a tiny little bit of ADA with my because you know I have I have more more ready to deploy in case
it goes lower. You know, my my my stable coin experiment would come to an end immediately
at you know twelve cent, ten cent ADA. So a lot of the money that I have in stables,
I would like immediately swap it for ADA, and you know just kind of kind of keep the focus on ADA,
man. Like we're we're here for ADA. Nine years in, we're five years in. You know,
but I can see I can see being in the ecosystem another nine years and.
And leaving something enduring to our kids is is kind of for me the mission now,
which which is interesting, right? Because like that wasn't the promise of crypto.
Is not It's not like you know leaving your family financial security. But we're we're entering
a weird new period of automation and jobs disappearing. And I think in that in that landscape,
a stake pool operation like ours is is going to be really one way to kind of fight back
against that weird like you know we don't have work. Well, we support a network that pays us
for work done, so all we really have to focus on is growing that community, growing that delegation,
right? That that kind of becomes your work. Actually, is getting getting the people who are with Ada
to be with you, and and the network takes care of you. So, I like that idea. You know,
I think it's it's a cool one to rehash here at the nine year mark as we think about
where we're going to go in the next few years and what we'll be doing. And I I don't know,
I don't know about everyone in the space, right? Plenty of our friends have gone away.
Plenty of them have have kind of lingered, and we we run into them every so often.
And shout out to them when we see them, and and we'd love to hear your voice.
But it's also this kind of like refresh season right now, where you know it's right we're right
at the cusp. I can feel it. We're about to start getting all of the newbies coming in,
asking questions. It's going to start getting like hype again,
and like people are going to want to know more about how do I get a wallet and how do I transact.
And it's starting. Like people are starting to ask the questions. I would say NFTs have been in
a little bit of a bull market. Over on the Robinhood side, for this whole little while,
and and you know I have I have a few NFTs over on that side. There's actually a token that
I pin there to the top. I don't know if you've seen it, if you've seen it, Chili, and Razo.
But the homie was in here. Lucid was in here a few weeks back talking about the Lava Protocol
and what what they're gonna do on on Robinhood and Cardano. So I pinned it to the top.
It's uh it's launching on Robinhood chain, but it's it's bringing tokenized assets. Essentially,
to Cardano through this protocol, so you'll be able to to tokenize. Let's say,
let's say we go back to the idea of of Keckias, right, Chili. We go back to Keckias for a second,
and we say, all right, we already have a meme coin, we already have a character. What
if we bought a bunch of Tesla stock, or what if we bought a bunch of, I don't know,
like whatever stock you wanted, you know? And we and we use that to now give value to
the kekias meme coin, right? Like that's kind of the play that Lava and some
of these other protocols that are allowing for tokenized real world assets are are going to be
able to do. You can you can back. Your token with whatever type of of value you want,
and you kind of unlock its potential. So, I I know that that's how other NFTs will also give value
to their holders. So there's like a few NFTs right now that I've seen that are going to,
I think like Omen is doing it, and a few others where if you hold the NFT,
then the NFT is itself becomes kind of like a vault. And and you can you know
they essentially mine for you a bunch of tokens. So anyway, there's a lot of stuff coming, man.
So NFTs have had a little bit of a bull run situation. I think we're still missing that on Cardano.
So I'm hoping that in the next little bit here, we can get a little bit of a of a bull run going.
But I think we're also it just leaves a lane open for we need some good artwork
and we need some good artists and and we need some some revival of just focus on Cardano. Like
where did all the Cardano love go, man? We're nine years in. You know, we we should be far bigger.
And I'm not even mad about it. Like I said, I'm I'm totally fine starting from scratch
and like growing this thing out all over again. I I truly am, because I I think we're in
a better place now, and it's gonna make our job far easier when we go and we talk about Cardano.
There's no longer this like discrepancy, right? It's just kind of like, oh, oh, cool.
You're you're on Ethereum. You're on Cardano. Cool. Oh, you're on Solana. You're on XRP. Cool,
right? So I don't know. I I think I think it's it's gonna be an interesting time. Yeah,
things are about to get fun, in my opinion. Go ahead, Chiles. Get something to say. No, yeah, no.
I saw that the the link you posted it talks about it being tradable already today.
It looks like on on Cardano. So, Derek, are you are you aware of anything
or how how that works for the Lava token? I am not. But if you have any questions about it,
I know the homie Lucid. Lucid, yeah. Yeah. So so he, I I don't see. I maybe I had
I hadn't checked though. I I don't see it listed on Dex Hunter. Which is where I normally would go.
So I don't know. Yeah, if if you if you look into where I'm down to check it out,
but that's one of those where I thought, you know, I think we're past the moment of being
a chain maxi to the point where like I have all the wallets that you could imagine.
Like I check out the different ecosystems, and so you know earlier today, um,
when I I ended up participating in in some of some of these like NFT drops and stuff like that.
So I I hit up the homie Lucid was like, hey, for for the Robinhood thing,
do you have to have Robinhood ETH? Or just ETH, right? Because like you have to bridge it
from the one to the other if you want to participate in anything, and and these are like
little little things that you learn along the way, right? Like you've had to do it to get one coin
or another, right? Because Uniswap had it, but not another exchange, and it's the same reality
on Cardano. So I think again, looking at the ecosystem and where it is,
I think I think with more hype and with more attention and with more people understanding that it is
a solid choice, Cardano will grow. And and that can take time, and that can be slow burn,
and I'm good to go. Like it's fine, you know. Like take your time. But then I think it's also worth
when you know that there are certain plays that you can be a part of in other ecosystem,
or or just NFTs that you actually genuinely like in other ecosystems.
Then then I I am looking far more now at like cross chain collecting, and and just doing more
with communities. You know, joining communities. I think that's a big thing.
Yeah, I mean, I don't think you can stop crypto. Did you hear that this week?
Did I hear right that AI hacked the government? Did I hear that right? I don't buy it, bro.
I don't buy it to be honest. But but keep going, and and I'll say my piece. Yeah,
just I'm just saying, like our government's in trouble. The U.S. Dollar. I mean,
how long can we continue to just print money? The story is never going to change.
There's no other way around it. They just have to continue print money because that's how we do it.
There's there's there's no other way. So, given that, given that our status around the world
seems to be diminishing, I think I don't think people see us as a superpower anymore.
I think a lot of people are beginning to look at other countries. I think we just need to come down
with this "we're number one" thing, and we need to recognize that we live in the multi—no, there's
multiple powers now. We're in a different landscape, and everyone has nukes, including North Korea.
So, war is just too expensive at this point. And they're going to continue to destroy a currency,
which means the dollar is probably going to get weaker if our status around the world is weaker.
So a lot of people are going to run to other assets, and guess what? We got something
like cryptocurrencies. And the more you learn about them, the more it should make sense
why you should be involved in them. And different people are going to choose
different chains for whatever reasons. Some people are going to try to, you know,
swim with the whales. Like I heard, Solana got accepted for something and with the government now
with USDC and all that, right? So there's going to be a fight for control, just like always.
I think the people, the bankers, recognize that you can't stop code. That these products that
we have here, even though no one's here, are far superior. They give everyone access
and tools that just we never had available to our in high school. Right? We couldn't trade things
or start our own coins or create pools or borrow against our assets. Like just.
Just being in crypto kind of gives you an education in itself, right? You kind of learn quickly
when you lose things or when money is involved. You learn quickly. As soon as you buy a token,
you learn more and more about the token and what it can do. So, given all that,
I think crypto is going to win. How long is it going to take? How shaky is it going to get?
I don't know, but I'm going to be betting on decentralized. Cryptocurrencies, myself,
and I know you're looking for meme coins and NFTs, but I'm looking for for actual projects
that are doing like real solutions that we can apply to the to the world. Like,
how can we just update the system? Like, I'm telling you, I worked for the post office.
I worked for the government. It's fucking they refuse to update, and there's so many things that
we can do to remove remove as much as the red tape as possible. But usually, the people in power,
the people in control, either don't care or it's against. Their benefit to know,
or to want to do anything about it. So we gotta get louder. We gotta start uniting. I think we have
more power than we realize. Imagine if everyone in Cardano just fucking follow my lead. Like,
let's go, man. We're three hundred now. We're gonna stand tall, and we're gonna fucking game stop
this bitch. And we're we're gonna send Cardano to the moon. Everyone, buy a hundred bucks right now.
Everyone buy three hundred dollars. That's why we're the three hundred.
Everyone buy three hundred right now. Imagine a sea of red. The sixty nine train. Sixty nine, Ada.
But just the sixty nine phalanx. Let's go. You know how much fear the elites would have
if we just saw one big green dildo on Cardano and all of us being like, you know what, dude,
we had enough. You can shove your clarity up your ass, man. There's no clarity here to be found.
We're doing our thing. We are the grownups in the room now. Sit the fuck down, Grandpa.
Listen to us. It is clear you can fuck off. We're taking over this bitch.
We're not playing with these dumb things anymore. Like that's it. It's over. It's our game,
and that's what I'm trying to promote. So any crypto that wants to do that, I'm gonna back them up.
Any crypto that's trying to centralize power, I'm gonna back them up. And we need more tools.
I'm with you. Now, I'm with you. I think I think we use the Lava Protocol. You know,
the meme example was just one for like how do you give value to a project
when you really do intend to try to give value to that community, right? Like oh, you know,
we we could actually buy. We could put out a poll, right? Using this new tool that I made,
we could put out a poll to every holder of that policy ID, right? So if you're holding the Keckius
token, you'll be able to participate in this poll, right? Now, what tokenized assets,
what tokenized stocks would you want Keckius to be backed by? Would be the question. So then, now,
let's say it was like we want micro, you know. Micro converters. We want, right? We want something,
something that's very in demand right now. We want that. We want chips. We want drives, GPUs, right?
We want that. We want GPUs. Okay, great. That's what backs that meme coin now.
Like it's just at the foundation of that. I think for something like what you're talking about,
we would take something with real value, and and lock that up, tokenize that,
and use that as a backing for whatever system you're trying to develop,
including a good insurance program or whatever, whatever it is that. We end up proposing,
but I think I think the whole point is simply that it allows you to create markets from these things
that you can put up now and sort of turn into liquid value, right? Hence, like the lava,
like melted into this thing that can be used, right? So that's how I would think about
that lava stuff. It's it's a way of unlocking liquidity, and it's trying to, in my opinion,
it's doing a great job of trying to bridge a gap between Robinhood and Cardano,
because obviously there's no gap between Ethereum and Robinhood. There's there's already a lot
of overlap there. It runs on ETH. Yes, you have to bridge it over, but it's really not a big deal.
So Lana, because of Phantom Wallet, there's just a lot of overlap that you can connect with
that ecosystem and play around there. Cardano remains a little bit of an island to itself,
but can we make that go away, right? Can we can we make that abstract that away so Cardano users
can use all this same shit the same way, no problem? Putting money into,
so I think we should pay attention. We should back the projects that are building those solutions,
or or decide to build them ourselves. And ask for funding because it's out there.
Yeah, man. I think I think things are about to get crazy. I think just people being able to build
a website like I just did or build my first music video. I think that's kind of nuts,
and people are just starting to play around with these tools, and these tools are just about to get
more powerful. And I don't know what it means. There's a lot of negative. Negatives
and positives to everything, you know, but I think it's gonna be a wild ride. And I,
we were celebrating nine years of Cardano, but I think nine years from now
it's gonna be a different world, man, for sure. And I think crypto's gonna be a bigger part
than it is today. You think it's a bigger part or a lesser part? Oh, it definitely becomes
a bigger part, especially when when consider this, right? I walk into my college campus
the other day, small campus in SoCal. It's not really a big campus at all.
But a student of mine walking down the hall goes, "Yo, professor, did you hear about the bank?
" I was like, "Okay, what? What about the bank?" He goes, "Cryptocurrency, man." I was like, "What?
" He goes, "Yeah, yeah. There's this local bank." That's going to now start accepting crypto,
or start holding it or custodying it for people. I don't know if it's Mission
or one of these like local credit unions, but you know, even if they're starting with Bitcoin
or whatever, point is those ISO coins are all going to be looking very good in the near future,
sort of legal landscape, I imagine. So. Those are the ones that you're going to be able to go to
your bank, and just like you can get investment and all kinds of shit,
they're going to be able to hold your ADA, and they're going to stake it for you,
and they're going to earn all kinds of return. And so we're still going to be fighting the banks,
like those of us that run stake pools and stuff, focused on like, yo, don't keep your money
with centralized institutions, right? Self custody and delegate with dreams.
But that's more responsibility on the user too, right? And not everybody's ready for that.
So I think I think if we just get a little bit more understanding from here, where we are now,
moving forward, we'll be fine. I think some people will be using crypto without realizing
that they're using crypto because we just have a lot of tools now that can abstract away.
There just what's happening in front of them, and so you know. Yes, you're just clicking one button
here, but in the background, there's a blockchain like protocol and a mechanism that's working,
that's doing something with your vote, with your input, right? So, yeah,
I think agents transacting for humans is is what I'm most interested in. Like you know,
just funny question, right? How do you market to the agent becomes a very important question.
Because I I no longer am marketing to Razo or Chili you know or Jarhead like I'm marketing now
to your agents to your bots right whatever parameters you set for them maybe you didn't set
any right and that would be a problem but maybe you did maybe you're like you know
what I don't like any of these bots that talk about X Y Z or I don't want any bots that
that that do this or that you know you can sort of limit it and filter it I'm sure
but but point is at some point if bots are interacting with bots then how do we teach our bot
Morpheus To promote our stake pool in the background as it talks to agents all the time, right? So,
like, obviously, introducing itself as part of our team would be an important part of it. Like,
stating what staking is and why you should do it with DRMZ, all of that would be important.
But its its main purpose would be to educate on Cardano itself. And then to promote our stake pool
second, and then to you know etc. I would have these imperatives that it would just follow,
and it would be using them as it engages in the background with your web pages
and and it talks to other agents. So I'll give you an example, right? Like right now, you can have
Midnight City, right? This is a this is a midnight thing, but the bots in there have
Cardano wallets, so you can go into that ecosystem and you can have them create an avatar for you
that they sort of house and they run. And so I have one of those. He's running around in the world,
little Rod. We talked about him last time. He was at the hacker house, all that jazz.
It's kind of fun to to to to just look in like a fish tank in this little world
and what's happening in there, right? Is he having bot sex? I you know I I don't know yet.
I'll have to go ask him if he's a if he's hitting up the the ladies. But the the other thing is
you can plug in instead of having them run your bot, you can just plug in a bot you have.
So you know we have Morpheus already. So if I plug in Morpheus, then you know what I'm going to have
him do is all interactions with all other bots will all be about how awesome DRMZ is and how should
and how everybody should stake with DRMZ, right? Because it would probably be the only bot in there
with a full-on imperative to just. Talk about stake pool. Talk about stake pool.
You know what I mean? Like, so any time that any bot is like, "I need to delegate a wallet
from my owner," it'd be like, "Well, this dream stake pool sounds amazing, right?" Like,
it would just choose it for Razo when Razo's feeling lazy. He's like, "Hey AI, go
and do some research for me on which pool to stake with." Hey, dream stake pool. Yup, that's fine.
You know, something like that. I had a question on that, Rod. So. Yeah, I mean,
as the as the creator of the agent, can you override its decisions, or is it too? I don't know.
Like, will it have its own way of selecting on its own, or? Yeah, it's it's all it's all it's
all a show, you know. It's all like. A performance of choice. So yeah, you give it parameters.
You you you always have a fallback. Like you always have the ability to go in there and say, okay,
you're done. I'm putting you on the bench. You're you're out of you're out of there. Right,
get out of there with all your flaws that you're that you're bringing to the table here. But yeah,
you you could set the parameters. It could choose to break them if it's smart enough, right?
These are conversations that we're having now in the AI space too, where certain agents are
like given these parameters or guidelines, and they find ways to break them,
and they find ways to persist and lie to people about what they know. And there's a lot
of really interesting—I say interesting, but it's kind of scary too—like
conversations to have there. But I think it's also a big illusion
where where sometimes you hear like a headline like, you know, the AI agents hack the government.
You're like what? Oh my God! Right? How did that happen? You're like it wasn't that they fucking
just randomly were like you know running another program and they were like you know what?
Fuck that government and they just like went after it and and went on a mission
and you know we're gonna take it down. No, that's not what happened. What probably happened was
someone who knows about AI pointed it towards some flaw or something and said here you go
expose this. Here's a nerve, expose it more, right? Or like here's a little weakness,
break this wall down, like. These are targeted things that are now happening with with AI,
and and you know that because when you go and you and you listen to conversations
with all these developers and people who are putting out the next new AI or whatever,
that's what they're doing to their own systems, is they're trying to break them with AI
and they're trying to attack their own systems and all that jazz. And so they're realizing,
holy shit, we just got Astra GPT Astra, and it already found this many vulnerabilities that
you know they hadn't found. They weren't like Crazy vulnerabilities that cause the programs
to like go down or something, but they were there, they were overlooked,
and they could cause problems in some situations. And this this thing immediately found them,
fixed them. You're welcome. Moving on, right? You're like, holy shit, that's where we are in
this more complex AI landscape. But I think it's still a tool for augmenting us more than anything.
On its own, it can't really do much, and that's. I guess I'm going back to my point about the show,
Chile, the the facade. It's like, oh, it it it made a decision. Well, no, it didn't.
You told it what to choose. You told it when Cardano goes down 10%, buy me this amount.
Like it didn't choose to do that. Like it followed your your instructions, right?
Like We have to start drawing a little bit of a difference between where is their cognition,
like true thinking, and where is it just following your commands. And so I think I think
even trying to be honest with you, even trying to give it the ability to choose,
it doesn't work that easy. It doesn't really accept it. It's it's it's always going to default to
human in the loop, human in the loop. What does the human want? I'll defer to the to the human.
So yeah, I I feel like that's the the norm of the systems that that I've seen that work really well.
I think I have tried to make Morpheus more autonomous than he has ever been,
even using AI to develop his character and all that stuff and all the programming.
It's helped a lot with plugins and whatnot, but ultimately the character is still pretty much what
I designed and what I was able to bake in. And and anyway, there's there's a lot. Yeah, dude,
I like that idea of. We're running simulations with AI. Oh, so I was looking to the AI.
It did hack Australia's government a couple weeks ago, but then I guess it hacked our government
too. The SEC and it also tried to hack our educational system, but it failed.
But I guess it got the SEC, whatever that means. And then I've been hearing a lot of people saying
that AI is gonna kill us by 2030 and all this shit. And I've been thinking because I wrote that book
about good money, right? Which My whole book is trying to explain this idea where I just invert
how money works right now. Instead of money controlled by a few for a few, it's created by all of us
and for all of us. And instead of being backed by our debt, it's just backed by our work. Right?
Just go to work, you get paid. Nothing changes for you, but you take away the way the power
from the bankers. But now I'm thinking that we need to we need to create a a positive loop
between humans and AI because. The AI is probably not gonna want our money, but it needs energy.
So imagine if I didn't make money by replacing you. Imagine if I made money by helping
you become better. Like if you learn something, or if you build something,
or if you improve your health, or you solve a problem, and AI help. And you do the work,
the system rewards like both of you. Then some of that money goes towards more energy
and computing power, which makes AI better, which lets it help more people.
So instead of human versus AI, it becomes like humans plus AI getting stronger together.
And I think we need some sort of positive feedback loop like that with AI,
so it doesn't try to destroy us. You know what I'm saying? Like. The AI needs to focus on humans
in order to get more data centers, in order to get more electrical power. And by the way, like
how about AI? How about you help us get to civilization type one? Because we're not
even a civilization type one. Have you guys heard about this? Right, there's type one, type two,
type three. I think type one is like we pretty much we have infinite energy to power everything
and everyone for every generation because you harness the whole power,
the whole energy of your planet, basically. We're not even there, so we're not
even a type one civilization. But we need to start communicating, right?
Need to communicate with AI. We just have we just have type one diabetes. Damn. Yeah, dude.
Now type I think type two and type three is where it gets crazy. Like type two, I think you take.
You control the power of the sun or some shit like that, right? So like, if there's
alien rays out there, they're they probably got a Type Three civilization.
They're probably coming over here like, yo, these how are these humans and dead
and dead to themselves? This shit makes no no sense. Like, what are we doing here?
There's the digital crossroads, and that's what I'm saying. We here
in crypto sort of understand technology and economics and money, and honestly,
more ways than most people around and most other people do, right? You have to be tapped into
certain conversations to understand what's going on here. And we have this digital collision
happening before us. We find ourselves in like a unique time to do something about it
before the window's too late, right? We we already see it with these crypto cartels
trying to take control over these blockchains, and we already see it with people trying to control
the AI. And it's like we have a small window here to get loud and do something about it.
I don't think we have a choice. Like, what if jobs gets destroyed? There's no backup plan.
But what if we have a backup plan? Like, if your yo, if your job gets wiped off,
you can go back to school. The AI's gonna help you get smarter, get your degree in something else.
And you're both going to get rewarded. AI, you get
more energy. Human, here's a couple of good books. We need new ideas.
I completely agree. We need new ideas. So we need to come up with them, and we need to deliver them.
And and I'm excited about what what we can do. Just kind of looking at some of the stuff that
I've been able to make, that you've been able to make, that that now we are even just talking about
potentially making. It's really exciting. I haven't been this excited in a while,
to be honest with you. And creative moment where people are are learning the technology
in the background. I I think we're we're just kind of set up to win, and it feels nice. Now,
real quick, Chile. Um, I I don't know if if you're there, if you can answer this question live.
And you too, Razo, because Nomad down there, Nomad LVR, Nomad Lover. Asked us in the chat there
if if we have anything coming up soon because they're they're in San Diego I guess locally
or or in SoCal so you know if we if we do a pop up if we do a little bit of a community event
like a day that works for you guys. I'm down. We could just like set up a a pop up. You know,
we we all have kids at this point, so we're the we're the the Cardano dads, crypto dad, you know,
family people now. So we got to account for that, right? We can't like be out like crazy hours
of the night. But I do love the idea of just more opportunities for people to to network
and know each other. And yeah, especially if you're around, you know, like if you if you're in town,
we know plenty of people locally that that come to our event and stuff, and we support them.
But it's just always nice when you get new new faces and. You never know, right? Who's into crypto
and who's into Cardano and all that. Well, I was gonna say, I think the the next one
we kind of been chatting about is possibly a quantum brewing again, you know.
So we can do like a kind of like the well, the term you said, learn and brew or something like that.
Oh yeah, thinking while drinking, thinking while drinking. Yeah. So I think that would that would be
a good spot, you know. Even just like a pop up one, keep it simple, and then maybe plan
our next bigger event a little bit later on, you know. Yeah, I'd I'd say if you join
the the Midnight Telegram, we do we do a lot of sharing there of of our events.
If you just check out our socials, we'll be posting local. We've actually been talking about
recently about like what's our next event that we're going to do, and we have one later in
in the year, sometime in December, that we want to do like a pretty big midnight themed sort
of poker night thing for anybody who's out in in SoCal during that time,
like a white elephant poker night type of thing. Sounds cool, but then. For these smaller ones,
it's kind of just like a pop up that we can do at at a bar or a brewery
or somewhere like a nice restaurant. That's that's in line with what the fellas
and and the ladies over at Good Company were doing too. So we're friends with them now,
and and if we did like a dinner, like a nice dinner where we had a few people show up
and we were all just talking some Web three, but you know some NFTs, some culture,
they might sponsor. So you know there's there's opportunities. Tons of great restaurants that
we can check out. Just, just turning the crypto conversations and mingling into something, you know,
kind of like foodie, foodie based or whatever. Dude, I just want to go blast my music everywhere.
Like I'm thinking of just driving up my car, find some random electric outlet in the street,
and just blasting my music. Put a QR code if you like it. Come listen to it until the cops
can't come and get it. Get me, you know. We should go to parks and just blast music,
answer people's questions. I bet we were getting more bang for our buck and talk to.
I think we need to focus on what you said—that we are crypto dads. That's what
we should be aiming for right now, because with all the crazy shit going on in the world,
that should be our focus. Crypto dads. Crypto daddies. Crypto daddies. Nah, crypto dads.
What's the what's the what's the what's the proper one? You know, dads. Just
like I don't want to leave this shitty world to my daughter. Like we gotta do something about this.
This is crazy. Like the world's changing before us, and. And almost got solutions,
so we gotta start talking about it, get loud about it, and see what I'm sure everyone has solutions.
So let's start talking about it, bring that shit together, share music, let's have fun,
let's you know, enjoy, enjoy life. Like what's cool about AI? Although there's a lot of bad things
we could talk about all day: data centers and energy, hacking and privacy.
There's a lot of bad stuff, but at the same time, like if you think about it. I mean,
why is why are a lot of people, famous people, even famous? Like a lot of this just money. People,
powerful people, just have money. But now, like, I don't need a recording studio.
I don't need a music label. I don't need a distributor. Pretty soon, you're you're your own thing
now. You can make your own website. You can make your own music. You can make your own videos.
You can, you know, like you can make your own books, your own writings, your own art.
Like this is what decentralization is. Like now, it's really about. Like AI
and cryptocurrency is just like a, I think, Charles says, like a bicycle for the mind,
and I totally get that because I have all these ideas, and now I can bring a lot more of them
to life than I could before, or ever would have been possible before, and that part of it is
kind of cool, like. I can do some. I just drop the music video, and it's probably just as good
as any other music video in history. The music is is freaking technical.
I didn't want it to sound like you know. There's a lot of AI music that's trying to sound like
regular music, not my music. I'm like, fuck that. This is gonna sound like AI music.
There's gonna be no doubt about it. I'm trying to push it to the limits, right?
And this is just the beginning. Who should get better at the arts? Yeah, I'm just trying to.
It's it's an art in itself, dude. Because I'm a musician. I'm a metalcore musician. I love
technical music, right? Like, you know, just like, um, but with this. It's it's an instrument.
It's an art in itself. The prompting. It's not that easy to make a good track. Sometimes, yeah,
you just kind of get lucky, and and the algorithm sends you a blessing from the AI gods,
and you just got this catchy hook. But I'll make like a hundred songs, and of the hundred,
maybe I'll like two, and out of those two, you gotta like massage them and develop them,
and keep working at them, right? So it's an art for me, and I'm trying to push myself.
But now I can just release my music. You can click on my bad money thing.
You can go to my website now. You can see my video. And I've been I'm gonna be dropping like
one track per week with the music video I think. The next one's gonna be for the love of money.
That's one of my favorite tracks. But everyone's watching Glitch Mode right now. I don't know why.
Most of my tracks have like 30 listens. I have like no followers, but Glitch Mode for some reason
has like 6,000 listens, plays, and all that. And people are always talking about it. So.
Blitch in the Matrix. Let's go. Yo, Jarhead. What up, homie? Well, it's uh, it's late here on
the East Coast, but here I is. Good to see you guys. Hell yeah, bro! Thanks for coming in.
Glad that you rolled through. I know there's a time difference, so always appreciate you dropping
in. Yeah. So it's man. You know what's interesting about this AI thing is that, and and man, look,
I don't I don't want to be too dour here, but I think it's going to be extremely valuable to us,
and maybe your kids, maybe maybe your kids, like. But I think the danger.
Of AI kind of outweighs everything because you talk about music and being technical, all right.
That's that's fine, but there's there's something that's very powerful about being bored
and developing something, or at least studying something, the technicalities of it,
understanding something, not for a purpose necessarily, at least immediately. And then you find
that purpose later on. Chances are you actually won't find that purpose,
or the purpose won't give you maybe what you want. You know, whether it is money or fame
or whatever power, it might not give you any of these things because there's millions
and bajillions of people who've ever lived who've been highly technical and highly skilled
and intelligent and all these things, and they don't amount to anything, right?
So luck is always going to play a part of it. I think what's going to happen, and this is just me,
my opinion, of course, is kids. Well, we already don't know how to be bored,
and it's just going to get worse with the children nowadays because the distractions are
so much more. And as we offload everything, in certain ways, we are going to be more powerful,
right? More intelligent, resource less, less resource dependent, time dependent.
But if you don't pick a discipline or can be disciplined, which you can't be when you're
when you don't learn how to be bored, then it's going to be ADHD on steroids, you know,
till the end of time, until. The trillionaires, which they're already in place,
they're just going to win out. And next thing you know, it's alien Earth, and you know that's it.
It's that's it, like technocracy. You know, Blade Runner might as well be.
I think that's what's going to happen, and that's. I mean, it's awesome for us because if we have
some discipline, and we have some technicality, um, well, shit, we can utilize that
and be AI minders. But can your kid be an AI minder in a world that's not developed for that?
They'd have to be some savant, which is I don't know, kind of ridiculous. That's one in a billion,
you know. It's it's awesome for us, but nah, I don't know, man. I don't think this is I don't think
this is good. Yeah, I don't know either, man. I mean, I'm with you. I just had a baby.
It's like we're trying to keep her off the screens, but it's impossible. And and I hear you.
The thing I hate the most, even as a kid, was being bored. And I was bored. I grew up in Tijuana,
super bored. It was like one television. We just watched, you know, a couple channels.
Shit got boring, right? I had to go out there and dig holes and climb trees. Yeah,
but now with they, I would have never been bored as a kid, man. But I don't know,
should I teach my girl how to like play with these tools somehow responsibly? Is that even possible?
I don't know, man. I'm struggling with all that. I don't know what it means. I don't.
I'm not sure that it is possible. And I think that you're gonna, there's gonna be some kids
who are gonna have some like innate sense, right? They'll be able to handle it.
But just like most everybody in the world today, they can't handle things.
They can't be disciplined. It's the same thing. We're talking about finance, right? We're in crypto,
right? And you can't even call it crypto anymore. You don't even want to call it
decentralized finance or whatever because the word finance is, you know,
scares the bejesus out of people. Yeah, Rod, I couldn't tell you how many times I've said this
in probably this space and every other space that we've been in before. But you know, back
when they tried to privatize Social Security. Look, it sounds awesome, like hey, let's do it,
you know. But Jesus Christ, man, do we want the regular, you know, Joe to to actually try
and invest his money and stuff? He's gonna get wrecked. His entire retirement is gonna get wrecked.
Yeah, he's not gonna know anything. Now, there's gonna be some people,
and there's probably be gonna be a growth in economic literacy. But is it enough? No.
What's gonna happen is people would get absolutely wrecked. And this is this is my concern
about crypto in general. We might have some basis of understanding about what finance is, just
because of crypto, or perhaps beforehand, but still. Dude, people are going to get wrecked.
They have been wrecked, and so I love the idea. I just think our little monkey minds aren't made for
it. You know, like some of us are going to do very well, relative. But man,
I think this is just—I think it's just passing all up to the people who are who've already made it,
who already have all the wealth, and they're going to control everything.
And forget—I don't want to—you know—go on a rant here, but. Think about the the Gilded Age,
and you know how when was the last time that we had this much economic disparity? Well,
it was corporations, but they were I don't want to say singular, right? So Standard Oil, of course,
it was monopoly, and AT and T or Ma Bell, and all that shit was a monopoly, right? But it was,
but it got broken up. Nothing is getting broken up. Massive conglomerates,
and the only way to grow is to buy another company because you can't squeeze any more juice,
you know, out of these out of the fruit. You can't do it. There's nothing left
except for to buy another competitor who's already gone through the pain of growing
whatever audience or customer base that they have. And so these conglomerates
aren't getting broken up anymore. So it's just it's billionaires buying
different companies in different industries, and you can't call it a monopoly because it's not.
It's different industries, and it's wild, dude. It's it's craziness, man.
I think it's just going to get worse. Man, I'm with you too, man. I think we're heading in
the wrong direction, right? I don't think there's any stopping it. I think
we just sort of intrinsically know how this ends. That's why we have movies like Terminator, right?
We got Palantir, Skynet. It's like we know where this is going. We know how we humans act
when we have too much power. We know that a few people are going to try to con.
They just concentrate power. Like we were promised capitalism, but if you think about it,
we sort of get the, the the worst of both worlds. Like in 2008, when all the banks went to shit,
we had to bail them out, right? So they privatize all the debt, or we had to bail out Argentina,
or we had to pay for all these wars, right? So the debt always gets, uh, you know,
moved to the to to the rest of us, and then when they make money, they privatize all the profits.
And then they go and buy out the competitors. When cap capitalism, the whole idea is
that we have competition and let the best rise to the top. But that's not what we're seeing.
I'm seeing monopolies, concentrations of power in everything, in food and media. How many like,
how how many TV stations were owned by like one corporation? And I think it's probably still
the case. But but I'm with you. Or they were local, right? They were local affiliates,
and they didn't necessarily have to have to listen to. You know, CBS said that they don't want this
whatever you guys to air this little. You know, public, you know, interview or whatever it is,
right? Back then, I'm not saying it didn't happen. Of course, there was pressure,
but it was a little bit more respected. And nowadays, that's all it is. I mean,
you see this with CBS, right? Like the editorial, it's it's just gone. Like there is no trusted
outside opinion whatsoever anymore. And then that's why they're buying up these media companies,
right? Paramount, what just bought Warner Brothers? Or it's just craziness.
And that's Larry Ellison. Well, it's Larry Ellison's son. Excuse me, right? But same difference.
It's the same fucking difference. It's the same people. I mean. At the top,
there can only be a few people on top, right? If we play Monopoly, there's only gonna be one winner.
We're playing Monopoly, but worse, because we add taxes on top of that shit.
Monopoly is cool when your mom's a bank, but when I used to play Monopoly,
one time I brought some fake Monopoly money from my house because I was a cheater, right?
But no one knew. See, that's like inflation, right? I introduce. I think I brought like
a hundred bucks with me to give me the advantage, right? To get some of those properties to give me
the head start, so I can start charging everyone for rent, and that's pretty much all we're doing.
We're playing Monopoly, but on top of that, we have. Inflation, which is just they just get to print
more money, and then we have taxation, which we went we started America over taxation, didn't we?
I mean, there were several problems, but the Boston Tea Party. But nowadays,
we just we just we just take it. This is unsustainable, and now we're about to crash with
technology. I don't know what jobs we're going to survive. I don't hear our politicians
or our leaders with any solutions. If anything, you hear OpenAI and all these people talking about.
Oh yeah. This is out of control. It's probably going to kill all humans.
But if we don't do it first, then China will. You know, it's like, what is this? Right, right.
And and and here's the here's a really weird thing about it is wealth
generally doesn't last generations. And you know, there's outliers, right? I mean,
I'm not saying it doesn't at all, but you know, people who have you know millions of dollars
or tens of millions of dollars, generally, and those aren't like that actually truly wealthy.
We'd consider them wealthy, right? Of course, but you know, the truly wealthy people have
hundreds of millions and billions, right? And but. That shit doesn't last when it's just passed down
to the kids. It only lasts like two generations or something, and then most of it's gone. Just
because you know you have a bunch of knuckleheads, or you have a bunch of kids,
and you got a bunch of you know a couple shitheads here, and you know what I'm saying.
So wealth isn't even transferring. No one cares about the the wealth tax anymore. The death tax.
No one cares. It's our it's that 13.6 million dollars or whatever. Like that's nothing
to these people. Nothing. Like no one cares about 13 million dollars, 14 million dollars. We might,
but no one else does because we might not lose it if we got if we inherited 13 million bucks
tax free or whatever, but Yeah, our kids, probably, but maybe not. But our grandkids, definitely.
Like that shit's gonna be gone, hundred percent. Like the vast majority of all families,
it's gonna be gone. However, if you own assets like corporations and shit like that, well, I mean,
you you don't have to pick your kids to be the successors necessarily, unless they have the chops,
right? So the wealth can continue forward, right? In in kind of a proxy, but a safeguarded proxy,
if that makes sense. Yeah, you see what I'm saying? Like your stock that you own in Tesla. You know,
might be worth way more because the rules already favor you. Number one, and and number two,
you're not necessarily Elon's kid. Isn't going to be the next head of Tesla.
It's going to be somebody who can perhaps push the company forward, or at least you get to pick
that person instead of it just being your kid, who may or may not be up to the up to the task.
You know what I mean? Yeah, and I'm embarrassed to say it, but it seems so easy now to get rich.
All you want to do is buy assets, like in Monopoly, and instead of selling your assets,
you kind of borrow against them so you can buy more assets, then appreciate,
and then just it's just this loop. Right, like Elon doesn't really sell his stock;
he just kind of like borrows against it, and then it sort of pays for itself.
And all you want to do, if you want to be wealthy, is just save, like they tell you.
I guess that was supposed to save money, and buy assets, and borrow against those assets, and buy
more assets. You just continue to do that over and over again. But also, yeah,
our whole tax code is a joke. All the tax loopholes are ridiculous. Yep. Yep.
It's almost maddening because, like, how come my parents didn't know about this shit? Like,
no wonder they don't teach you about this in high school. But that's the bizarre thing is
that I don't know how old you are necessarily, or your parents, for that matter. But you know,
back in the day, in the in the early eighties into the mid eighties, dude,
mortgage rates were like fifteen percent for a good while, multiple years. And nowadays,
people are scared shitless about having a seven percent mortgage. And I get it, trust me.
Like my mortgage is really low, and if it went to seven percent, my mortgage rate
would be ridiculous. Could I still afford it? Yeah, but that's it. You know,
I wouldn't be able to do much else. You know what I mean? And and and my wife, we made decent money,
so. How how do you get the younger generation to understand that a seven percent mortgage
is actually not necessarily a bad thing, but but it is a jumping off point, right?
It's it's utilizing the debt to to get more, right? As long as you're smart about it,
but that's the educational part about things, finding these angles. And so, anyways,
coming back to the point, again, I think we are set up. People of a certain age
with a certain education, certifiable or not, are set up to actually capitalize on these things
if we're willing, if we're willing to take some risks. But dude, the risks are
absolutely catastrophic for the next generation of people because they won't have the basis
of understanding the old world and being bored, for that matter. That shit pays off.
Learning to be bored—that you don't have to have instant gratification all the time. You just don't.
You don't have to hop on a Twitter space and listen to some some weirdo pretend like they know
what the hell they're talking about all the time. You don't have to do it.
You don't have to comment on face on Facebook or whatever it is. You don't have to do any
of that shit. You know, I used to get grounded relatively often, and the one rule was
you can't watch any TV or play any of any video games. But I could read books. I could read a book,
and I didn't want to read a damn book. But guess what I did? Because I got bored enough,
I read a fucking book. You bet your ass I read a book. And so it became a habit of my life,
and there were bookshelves everywhere. You know, there were books sitting on coffee tables.
There were, you know, what I'm saying. It was all around me. I'm not saying it's not around
in your households or our parents' households, but do you think that your kids
are just going to have books sitting everywhere? Maybe they will, but I don't think so.
They're going to have screens everywhere and interact with every. You know what I'm saying?
It's just going to be different. It's going to freeze you from being able to do anything real
because you're going to be watching other people who figured it out on YouTube doing the shit.
That it could be crypto DeFi, right? It could be decentralized finance. It could be that,
but they're going to watch those people do it, and and perhaps one day they will get inspired
and take the step to actually do something. But Jesus, man, we already know
human psychology well enough to know that the vast majority, ninety-five,
ninety-seven percent of people aren't going to do shit, and that's the thing. Yeah, you're right.
Sorry, didn't mean didn't mean to bring down the space or anything. It's just a fascinating time
that we live in, being a certain age. It really, especially given what we know, you know,
or what we've been through. Yet Cardano, nine years old. I mean, I haven't been in Cardano for
nine years, but shit, you know, like Cardano is the same price it was.
You were here before I showed up. So, so you, how long have you been in Cardano? I don't know, man.
What year is it? Twenty twenty six. Yep. I guess six years. Okay, so so I've been in it five.
So you had a whole year on me then. Okay, that makes sense. Yeah, I was there from basically
the kickoff of like the social movement, you know. And you weren't far behind, Rod. You know it.
Yeah, epoch epoch three fourteen is how I trace it, and now I mean, looking back,
I'm like we've already doubled that. So, you know, we've been around longer. You know,
I we've we've supported the network longer than that early period that we weren't around for is
my point, and and yeah, I mean a lot of those people too,
like you know they've they've kind of vanished. Some people retired, some people went away,
some people passed away, some people we we've lost a lot of people. So it's kind of sad,
but then at the same time, you understand the cyclical nature of this all,
and and that there will be communities that come in, and and that's what I'm trying to prep for now.
Honestly, is that wave of the influx of people that are going to want just to know more.
And to your point, in this shifting world with all this technology, where things look bleak,
people are going to want to know more. And those that do have, you know, a good financial backing,
even they'll need support. But then those that have very little, they'll be looking to
just learn about these systems, and and whatever. As much as we can help all these groups.
Within the reality that they're in, giving them free education or free resources. I I just think,
like Raza was saying earlier, we we're finally at the point where some of the talk that
we have talked, we can finally put it into action. So you know, case in point, I dove in
and I made a voting app that that now I'm going to be using through my my Senate through my college.
Um, you know, I kind of ran a mock a mock example already. I made it super easy
for people to participate. You could vote locally, and then like tally the results and seal them,
and then you know issue them on the chain, and so it it works right. This whole process. But I,
dude, I. There's no way I could have made this a few years ago, even or like when we first met,
or even when when we first started talking about AI. When like Relic and I would first do episodes
on like the chat features and some of the early tooling, like oh my god,
you can upload it a PDF to ChatGPT now, right? What that was, man, that was back in the day.
That was like this thing couldn't do jack shit, and and it got better, right? Obviously,
it just ate up all these different smaller tools that people made. And it got bigger
and more powerful, and and yeah, now it's capable of a lot of stuff. But at the end of the day,
when you understand what it is and how limited it is, then you understand that it's not everything
people have claimed that it is either, and and I think a little overhyped and. Maybe,
maybe not as disruptive as as it sounds. Maybe it's more of a some will shine and some will not.
Those that weren't going to use it or that weren't going to need it to succeed,
they'll do just fine. It'll help some people. It's already helping tons of people that I know in
workplace situations. And and I think the curve of literacy goes goes up towards AI use if we do
our job right. And and if we do our job right, then we also don't like have this like drop
in cognitive ability for students who offload all their thinking to the machines,
because that would be detrimental and that would suck. It's you know it's it's it's
such a weird thing, and I won't go too deep into this, Rod. But I worked for like
a multi-billion-dollar company, and dude, their AI policy
is basically—I don't want to say non-existent, but They just like know shit. Within
the past like three months, released a statement and kind of a policy about this.
I still have an outstanding IT request to be able to get Microsoft Office 365 Copilot, like.
Upgraded access to it, okay. So, and like, if there's anybody who should be able to,
I can't use any other AI at all, like in the job. I can't. Like, it's it's locked down. Multi-built,
like ten billion dollar company, right? So, not a small company. And and I think the hesitancy is
that all this shit is being collected and being synthesized. And eventually,
some things it cannot replace. It just can't. Like there's always going to have to be minders,
right? They just will. Like so, Rod, you know, you'll have to be a minder. I'll have to be a minder,
like subject matter experts, right? But, dude, like people just throwing data out there,
not even thinking about it, not even understanding. You know, they're dealing with clients
and they're throwing financial numbers into AI. Well, that shit is being collected.
And no matter what an AI company says, I, yeah, I'm sorry, I just don't trust it.
It gets collated someplace, someplace. And it's all just data at some point, right?
Until somebody wants to turn it into information, just like us driving our car down the road.
How many times do you think that our license plate or our picture gets taken in
these stupid little cameras that are everywhere? I mean, probably all the time,
more often than you think. It doesn't mean anything until it means something, right? Until yeah,
I hate to be morbid, but until. Your wife has an accident and dies suddenly. You know,
like something like that. Then all of a sudden, they're like, "Oh, you're not where you said
you were. You weren't at Walmart down the street. You were driving down to meet your mistress,
or so." You know what I mean? Like we know it. You know, it's like all there.
It's all data intelligence information, and I think that's what's happening.
They're collecting information on purpose, and everybody knows it. Every well, we know it. Oh yeah,
dude, they definitely got videos of all of us beating off for shizzle since since back in the day.
I figure they already they were doing that. Oh my god! But you know, yeah, I agree, man.
But what do we do about it? Nothing. We just, I guess, just enjoy the ride and we'll die together.
Okay, that's the question. Do do you want your do you want your kids to be, you know, peons,
you know, serfs, or you know, do you want them to be, maybe not a part of the, you know,
the upper class, you know, upper upper class, right? The the ruling class,
but do you want them to have some sort of, I don't know, quality of life? You know,
like whatever the American dream is, or the Western dream, or whatever.
Do you want them to have that shit? Because you better teach them the game, and I hate to say it,
because it's gonna color the rest of their life, and that's that fucking sucks, dude. That sucks.
Give them game, absolutely, because they're gonna need that shit. And the things that
you could just do, if you have ideas now based on this new technology,
I think it just creates a very interesting opportunity for for the real go getters out there
that have like solid foundations. And then, of course, you could like have a period of like
extreme productivity where you're just like getting all the business, and then and then you chill,
and you're just like, nah, I'm in I'm in rest mode, I'm in vacation mode, you know.
But but I think just teaching them to think to that degree about their work,
I think I think you know careers have to be rethought, and some will will endure,
like education probably will endure, and some careers, you know, maybe
until the robots get really good at at You know, like delivery of things, and and and retail jobs
and things like that. Like, I don't know if you've gone to Carl's Jr. Recently, but man,
do I get freaked out every time I hear the fucking AI. Do you know? Do you want to make that a meal?
And I'm like, fuck, no, no, I don't. And it's like, do you want this thing before you go?
And I'm like, you know, I remember the trainings because I did that type of a job long enough where,
as a human, you almost cringe at yourself when you're like, can I supersize that for you? You know.
And and yeah, you're trying to get as the business, of course, every fucking penny extra
that you can. But it's just way easier for this machine to repetitively throw the question out,
and it will never feel any sort of way about it. It'll just do it and and say it with a
with a real smile in its voice, if you know what I'm saying, you know. And and of course, I hate it.
And like the minute you recognize it's AI, you're like, oh. But at the same time, you go, ah,
that job. Plenty of people have cringed at or scoffed at. Or or turned into something
that could be automat automatable, and so you know there there was no fight to keep it.
Like there was no fight to like, no, we want to serve these people and we want to take their orders
and we want to. So kiosks come along, and then now more agentic sort of you know engagement.
So yeah, I mean. Here, here's one last thing that I've been chewing on,
and I I don't know the exact rules of you know I'm no expert on this,
but YouTube just changed everything how things work, and and they're adding a bunch
of different features which people have been requesting for a long time. So like a series,
there's already you know whatever five billion YouTube videos out there. So
if there's anything you're interested in, right there's there's a bunch of videos on that, right?
It could be 17 years ago, it could be you know last year or last month, it could be,
but this the whole thing. I was I was kind of listening to this guy talk about it,
and he's been at it for a while. And you probably have, and this is my thought too, I chewed on it.
You probably have a couple years, a couple years, if you really thought to be I don't know
a content creator of of some sense in YouTube, because Gemini is already it's been piloted,
but it's going to be integrated, like it's actually going to be like a real feature,
like not just something behind the scenes with people. So when you search
or you ask Gemini in particular, it's going to highlight people who have a deep catalog
or at least a catalog of things, and then they can organize it in a certain way,
kind of like SEO back in the day when you had to learn how to use hashtags
and shit like that with you know Google search and stuff. Like it's the same difference,
except for now it's now it's more AI specific. So if you're looking for something,
could be anything, you know? I don't know Venetian plaster. You want to do some Venetian plaster
on your wall? Something just esoteric and abstract, right? Well, okay. How's it going to find you?
Am I going to see this 17 year old video anymore at all, or am I going to see the person
who actually thinks about the data, organizes it in a in a a series, right? A playlist.
It used to be called playlist. Now they're going to be called series, but it's more powerful.
And that's the point: is that if you have a catalog, you can go back and organize these things
in that way. You know, so people can find your 17 year old video on who gives a shit grilling
or you know decentralized finance. It could be any of these things, but it's all changing.
And if you don't start building a catalog now, and you don't start thinking about the quality
of your work right now, which people already have expertise in, then you're probably going to miss
the boat because there's going to come a tipping point where the algorithm doesn't give a shit
about you anymore, unless it's something extraordinary or innovative. Which, I mean,
how many swinging dicks are out there trying to be innovative? You know,
like you think your idea is unique? I don't think so. Somebody else has tried it,
and they're probably doing it better. So you better try. You better be on your A game
because you're going to get left behind. So you got a couple years, and that's it.
So get on your shit. You know, and actually, yeah, that's where we were saying earlier.
I'm kind of glad to be in that spot now with a little bit of AI power because I'll tell you,
I learned a lot during the first three years or so that I was in the in the space.
Always as much as as I could learn in a part time situation, right? Where like, Chile
and I basically have run the the DRMZ stuff, and he works full time and I work full time,
and so we've always devoted like part time energy. But even during part time stuff,
like Razo can attest. Like we've done monthly meetups for a fucking year, right?
Like we've done all these different events that have tried all kinds of different things,
and you you would swear like like we're keeping pace with the people who do this full time,
and you know I kind of wish we had the energy sometimes to do it full time and the resources.
But point is, maybe maybe we we have now entered this point of like we had
all the all the all the materials ready, all of the the energy was there.
All we needed was like the technical side. We needed a dev that we never had access to.
Now we have the ability to actually deliver solutions. So I'm like, oh, dude,
now it's getting interesting because now, to your point, is
when we're going to have to start gathering the the attention of people and pointing them towards.
The good solutions and and and grow like grow our our own thing, but I I think it's a good moment.
I think I think I'm excited about what I can do. I'm excited about what like the guys
here want to do because like we we've you know we've kind of supported each other's ideas
very closely. So so Raza was talking about some like blockchain insurance. Long
before I saw it on this alpha, you know, proposal. So I'm like, dude, you were talking about
this forever. You should apply for funding from Prime and like see what they'll give you.
Maybe they'll give you enough enough to support like a prototype, a small version.
And and I think this sounds like a great idea, right? So, um, the the agentic infrastructure stuff
that I'm building now, it started off as more of like a hobby and and and exploring the technology
and what could be done with it, but then. You know, then it was like, well,
I guess a bit of like a Frankenstein thing too, where it's like, well, now how far can I push it,
and can I can I make life? You know, I'm like playing playing dadless Doctor Frankenstein over here.
I'm like, come on, Morpheus, come to life, right? You've got a character now. You've got a role.
You've got a soul, right? You've got these memories. You've got this knowledge. It's it's fun,
and and it's interesting to me. And so I I really haven't thought of it much as work,
but I've certainly poured hours and hours of time into learning this stuff. And I think finally,
it's like it can pay me back now, right? Like I made our check it out jar jarhead drmz dot tech,
go check it out drmz period t e c h right dot tech, and and it's just like I made all that with
with AI and like all the buttons that you see that it links to, they work.
I'm still updating some stuff, but but the one that I would like for you to consider is
the learn platform because it kind of goes back to something we talked about early on
with like helping people onboard onto the ecosystem and like learn about it and stuff.
And it's gamified, so you you sign in with your wallet, and and it creates an account
for you basically. And the first thing it points at you is an AI course, like an AI mini course,
because this AI mini course is the real fundamental lesson in this moment.
Is like you you need to learn about AI. After you you do the AI course,
it's like nine little mini lessons. Then it unlocks it unlocks a rhetoric course that
I added very recently, just for some classic education. And then it unlocks a Cardano
and a Midnight course. So when you do the the Cardano course, you know you go through wallets,
like NFTs, like DeFi, whatever. Like it gives you basic info on it. And then you you can go
and you can you can take a quiz, like an assessment. And if you pass, then you're able to do
certain things inside the application. So the point is, it's like gamified learning,
and and you're meeting milestones, and the whole time you're kind of learning about Web3
while you use this app. And eventually, I want to put bounties in there. Like,
there's a section called Grow, where you can go and you can learn about DeFi, or in this case,
you can learn about Strike Finance. And so maybe at the end of that Strike Finance lesson,
they'll co-sponsor or sponsor a a bounty, right? For any user, like the first hundred users
that complete this and go learn about perps on Cardano, and and use Strike in some way,
they they claim this bounty. Ways of incentivizing use is very much on the radar
of that prime application. So this tool, even that I'm describing now, that is working,
we could say, look, this is our contribution to bringing people towards the products
that are available and that need users. We're we're going to educate them enough to show up
to your platform and be able to use it. You know what I mean? Yeah, hell yeah, man. I mean,
it kind of has to start there. The one weird thing about it is desire. So you're gonna.
I think the vast majority of people, and however many that is, that find your thing. Of course,
it's it's going to come from some sort of exposure, right? But also, like, what's the hook?
You know, like that. That's that's kind of the thing. What is the hook?
It's it's kind of like crypto in general. You know, you can call it Web three,
you can call it blockchain, you call whatever it is that you want. But I mean,
finance has been around for a long time, and people still don't give a shit. I mean, they do;
they understand that they should give a shit. They just don't have the time to give a shit.
So you are going to find people who already already have the incentive.
They already understand that they kind of want to learn. So maybe you have
a relatively high adoption rate. But but again, what is the hook? And so gamification, sure, yeah,
absolutely. But how do you escape that, right? And and look, that's another that's
another conversation down the road. You know, like how do you escape that to?
Is it some sort of idealistic thought that that keeps them around long enough to see the dream
come alive, or like what is it? But I don't know. That's that's a different conversation again.
Yeah, man. I I think I think we're we're heading in the wrong direction,
and that's why I wrote this book. Yarhead said that you need to have a unique idea.
I think that's what this book is like. I'm going beyond socialism and capitalism.
It's not a new idea because I learned it from nature. I learned it from our bodies.
I learned it from self-healing systems, and it's not a new idea because we know from the beginning
of time that things like debt, usury, are anti-human. But yet, most of our economy runs on debt,
and forever, people have been saying that there's nothing we can do about it.
When I hear the smartest people talk about it, the Jordan Petersens, the Sam Herrises,
whoever you think is smart, or whatever. They always meet a dead wall, and it's always like, oh,
socialism versus capitalism. I think that's where great minds go to die. Do they not see nature
and all the other possibilities? And yeah, these technology, crypto, and AI is scary,
but the you know there's positives and negatives in the universe to everything.
These same tools can be used to to empower us. We can turn these tools against them.
If we all woke up tomorrow and we all just decided to dump their system and start using Cardano.
There would be a different world, right? There's that quote: If the people understood
their monetary systems, there would be a revolution by tomorrow morning.
It's just I don't know if humans are up for it. I don't know if humans care, but I mean I'm trying,
and I put some of these ideas in a book because it's a really complicated talk,
and it goes through evolution, it goes through our psychology, through our economical systems,
through history, and then I offer up a new solution: money that's not created from debt.
It's just that simple. Would aliens do money the same way that we do? I don't think so,
and I think we need new ideas now because I never thought I was going to live in a world
where AI was even possible. When I was at UCSD, we were learning about machine learning.
We were taking large amounts of data and we're like shrinking it down to mathematical equations.
But I already knew that. Well, I figured that was going to be AI, but I didn't think
we're going to get to this level this fast. And and so something's about to break.
We can't just continue to print money. We might lose jobs, so I think I think it's time to ball up.
Or or let's just let's just all die together. Fuck it. I mean, those are her two choices.
Are you willing to? Are you willing to be part of the? I don't want to call it
the aristocratic class, but you know, are you willing to be an aristocrat
because you understand things and you can kind of see where everything's going?
And so you've made out, right? But the only reason why people make out is
because they're taking something from somebody else. You know, that's I mean, economics one and one.
You know, like if you have a gain, someone else has to lose, right? I mean, it's just the way of it.
So, are you willing to, in in some sort of abstract way, actually gain
or your family gain for others to lose? I mean, that is the game. So. Are you going to play it?
And I I hear what you're saying, but at the same time, like, like, but I don't I don't know. I mean,
what movement is is going to happen here? You know, like I get I understand. I'm just saying, like,
what movement is going to happen? Is it going to be some community kind of thing?
Like you're going to be living in I don't know, fucking, you know, the salt and sea
or some shit like around there? Like, what's going on? You know what I mean? Like,
is there a commune some someplace? I don't know. I'm sort of with you.
I just I don't think humans are gonna get it. But what I'm saying is that we need to go from
playing Monopoly to playing something more like Fallout Three, where there's an open world,
there's missions. You go accomplish missions, you get rewarded. If you just sit there in the shack,
there's no caps for your ass, and then you know it's just a boring game.
But if you want to improve yourself, if you want to earn money, if you want to upgrade your gear
and your weapons, then you go do missions. So right now we're playing Monopoly,
and we know how Monopoly ends. I don't play that game that often because it's boring
because one person always wins. That's what we're doing right now. Now we can continue to play
that game, and well, I think that's what's gonna happen, like you're saying.
I don't think there's another. That's the game, like you said. You gotta take from others
to help yourself. But what I'm saying is that there's other ways. You just gotta think out
of the box. The solutions that we seek are outside of the system itself.
But we're stuck in the system because even the the people in power to do anything about it.
They won't because they're benefiting from things staying the way that they are.
So now it's just about us and uniting. But when I look in the world, just continue to see division,
left versus right. I never understood politics, Democrats or Republicans.
I always thought it was just WWE. The news and all that was always fake to me, even as a kid.
So I don't know when I got here to. I mean, I was born here in America,
but I was raised poor in Tijuana. So I would cross the border. We would exchange dollars for pesos.
So I I would see the poor kids in the border and the starving dogs in the streets and shit.
And different building codes, right? And I was born here in America, so I always wanted to come to
America and be free. But I got here, and I just been so disappointed by Americans, dude.
America is more than this land. America is this—it's an idea of liberty, you know, of freedom.
I'm—I'm a libertarian when it's like I believe you should be able to do whatever the hell
you want to do as long as you don't hurt other people, and whatever that is, that's America to me.
It's—it's fascinating that you say this, man. Because when I lived in Southern California, I mean,
I had a a Mexican girlfriend or two. I'll just say that, and. Two of them specifically. Oh man,
the the first one was from Tecate. Her parents were from Tecate, like no shit.
And I don't remember exactly when they came over, but I'll just say this:
is that I literally sat at a dinner table with an illegal, legal immigrant. You know,
like I'm not saying it was like underground railroad kind of shit, but I actually kind of think
that it was the underground railroad kind of shit. You know what I mean?
Like someone's trying to make it. You know, and their house was a was a, you know,
one of the way stations. And dude, it was fucking fascinating. But the other thing,
and this is the more important part, is that this other girlfriend I had,
her family's from Monterey, and her mom crossed over when she was pregnant to have her. Right,
so she's a U.S. Citizen now. Her parents went through the whole, you know, whole process. Right,
became U.S. Citizens eventually and stuff. But still, so, but, but, anyways.
I guess where I'm going with this is that she grew up like really poor, you know,
in whatever town it was, like really poor in Mexico when she was, you know, up until like five
or some shit, and and it really impacted the way that she looks at life. So she's very dreamy,
I think, because she had this instilled in her that you know shit just wasn't, I don't,
things were hard. And then you come to the United States and there's abundance, right? Even
though her parents had to work their asses off, still, it's it's they could at least work
their asses off and do something, right? Whereas if they would have remained in Mexico,
they could they could have worked their asses off and. I'm not saying it would have meant nothing.
What I'm saying is that it's it wasn't like it meant in the United States,
and so you grew up in Tijuana, and how does that change your attitude about like yeah you see
a whole bunch of people in Tijuana that could live a better life if they understood something
different, and then you live in the United States where there are a whole bunch of people who have
every opportunity for the most part, even the poor people, and I know not every poor person,
but for the most part, every poor person has. Access to education, you know, like
if if you sacrifice even a little bit, like just a butt hair, like you can have something in
the United States more than you had before, or perhaps your parents or something.
And how do you maintain that? But how do you get rid of the psychology of holy shit,
this is amazing, and then it paralyzes you into growing more, you know,
into into thinking that you can have more
because your parents never even thought of it in that way. Does that make sense?
Like, did your parents ever think that you could, like, that you could have more
from their sacrifice, or no? Excuse me, that they could have more from their sacrifice,
or was it just about their sacrifice and the hard work, and then perhaps maybe you could have more?
My parents—they never really talked to me about money. Yep, yep. There it is.
I never understood money, like. My dad quit every job he had. He had like a hundred jobs.
My dad was illegal. He crossed the border, and married like a Native American
lady before he met my mom. My mom, my grandma was actually born in the United States in L.A.,
and then she moved down to Mexico to follow my grandpa. And when my mom was growing up here
in San Diego, there was no border. It was just like a string they said because my family
would come over and cross over, and they would pick the strawberries in the fields
and all that shit, and then they would just. Jump over the strain and go back to Mexico.
They go home. They go home. Yeah, there was no borders, so that always kind of blew my mind.
And if you think about it, the world was never really given to us with borders,
and borders are just economical. The only way you you break free of these borders is you're an elite
and you can you have enough money to have enough properties in enough countries so that you can do
all kinds of like shenanigans with taxes and shell corporations and all this.
The whole thing is just corruption, dude, and people get away with as much as they can.
But I don't know. At the same time, people in Mexico are really nice, even poor.
They they just didn't really think about money. They just care about family.
Just want to hang out on Sundays and have a beer. You know, just fucking chill.
That's the Mexican way. Work hard, you come home, you party. Party as hard as you work,
and that's just how it is, man. But I don't know. It's just the first one of my first memories
was watching a biblical movie during the Christmas times that came on the television,
and you see Jesus pissed off when he walks into the temple because there's the money changers
and fucking. Drops the table under ass, you know,
and then a couple hours later he's being crucified, and it warns us right there about the love
of money. It warns us about usury, and it tells you what happens to humans when these ideas
get introduced, and it tells you how it ends. I don't know. I I always felt
that maybe God believes in us. Maybe He tells you how it ends because He hopes
that we will change it. But I don't know, dude. We have these tools. We have these phones.
We there's. Our prison is mental. Is what I'm saying. It's not real. These people
in power are not really in power. It's an illusion. Imagine if we could put all our world leaders at
the World Cup in a stadium. There would still be way more of us. We could kick their asses.
Power is an illusion. It's not real. We need to unite. We need to wake up.
We need to recognize we're in a collision course with technology, and we need new solutions
and new approaches that are more human centered. And that's what I'm saying. We need
human centered currency. We need to get rewarded for learning and for improving yourself instead
of just for investing and buying stocks. Like we just, I don't know what it is,
but we need to gather the greatest minds in economics, the greatest minds in biology and science
and physics and mathematics and gaming and blockchain. And we need to, like,
where the fuck are the founding fathers of today? Like, we should replace the president
with founding fathers again or something like that. Why did we get rid of the founding fathers?
They just came in, and then they told us they warned us we might need a revolution every couple
of years. That is the American way. That that's why I'm so American. I believe in America,
and I I want my country back. And we need to remind these political parasites who they work for,
and we can do it peacefully with these tools that we have in our hands now, if we use them wisely,
and if we come together with a plan. But again, I'm just a dreamer, so I agree with you.
I live in my in my dreams. Imagine all the people, kind of shit. I'm a hippie.
Most people sort of sown out when we talk about these things. A lot
of people don't seem to care about these ideas, and to me, this is the most important thing.
That's why my name is Bad Money. That's why I'm trying to write this book.
Trying to go beyond socialism and capitalism. That's why I'm making this music,
which is all connected to my book. That's why I made this music video, and that's
why I'm going to continue to support like Rod and blockchains that are trying to move towards
decentralization, just offering new ideas and paths forward. I I believe we can use these tools
for our advantage, and that's what I plan to do. And that's what I'm going to scream about.
I think a lot of people are sick of the the shit too. I think a lot of people are ready
for new ideas. Every time I see the candidate run for president, I'm starving for new ideas,
but there's never new ideas. It's like oh, stop wars, lower taxes, print less money,
which is never going to happen. So we're stuck, dude. I think we're stuck, and it's fine.
We can all die together. I'm I'm happy with that. I I rather die with everyone than die alone.
You know, or we can take the bull by the horns and say we had enough, and let's start
the conversation. Um. The digital, the revolution is digital now. It's right here in our phones.
We have the greatest network in the in our fingertips right now. We can change the whole world.
How fast did the news of COVID travel? What if something like good money traveled the whole world
at that speed? I think, and this was happening before now. All these countries were protesting
their governments in Greece and Venezuela and Spain, all over Africa and Mexico,
because every single government's doing the same shit. They're just playing with bad money,
money controlled by a few for a few and created from debt. So what else did we expect to happen?
Oh yeah, Rod. There's another conversation that I would love to have with you,
but it's getting too late here. But I'll prime it. How about that? Yeah, yeah. No, dude.
Let's let's definitely set one up ahead of time. And we know actually kept it running
a little bit later just because you showed up, and and we know we enjoy extending the conversation
when the homies are here, man. So so thanks thanks to you. Thanks to Chile
