Thank you. Thank you. so yo what is up everyone thank you so much for tuning in so early guys. We're just going to keep a couple minutes to set up the room.
But while we wait, guys, if you guys could do us a huge favor, if you guys could hit
that bottom right corner, a like, a comment, a repost, a bookmark, any little goodie would
be deeply appreciated as we launch our very first Pengu Asia space.
Again, guys, thank you so much for being here.
We'll see you guys soon.ใใใ

Yeah, fish is the dish and I'm liking it.
Young Cole on the roll, a lot of hyperdisk.
In the huddle, no robot, a lot of iciness.
If you like what you hear, you can license it.
Hey, these penguins pudgy.
Hey, these penguins pudgy.
That mean work, it's a dream work. True. Penguins so chubby that they knees hurt. Pudgy, pudgy, pudgy, pudgy, pudgy, pudgy, pudgy, pudgy, pudgy, pudgy, pudgy, pudgy, pudgy penguin. In the huddle now. Pudgy, pudgy penguin.
GM, good afternoon, good evening, wherever you are in this wonderful, wonderful planet.
Guys, thanks for tuning in to our very first Pengu Asia Spaces. I know you're probably thinking,
hey, we've run this space before. We've talked about Pengu Asia before. But guys, today actually
is the first time we're hosting the Pengu Asia Space on the Pengu Asian account.
Guys, if you haven't heard or saw it last,
yeah, I guess a lot of us in the Asian time last night or morning,
the official launch of Igloo, APAC, and Pengu Asia.
Definitely, it was a jam.
It was an amazing, amazing night. I don't know about you guys, but my timeline was buzzing
with amazing, a lot of comments from people from around the world. It was a really, really cool
moment to see. It was really cool to see the Pudgy Penguins account posting, Luca posting,
and just so, so many things happening last night. And so today we're like, yo, how about let's just
run a space? Let's just get the vibes high. Let's maybe ask, maybe get some, a few couple of alpha from Aaron from Foxy.
So today guys, it's going to be an amazing, amazing time.
But before we start guys,
if you guys could do us a huge favor,
if you guys can interact with the bottom right hand corner,
a like, a comment, a repost, a book about any little goodie
would be deeply appreciated.
And also in the comments, right?
Since this is a pudgy space,
I would love to see those pudgy
you like to call it, down in the comments.
Let's destroy that comment
and gifs. I know we have a
Ross right now is managing with two phones, so
he got his hot mic going, but let me
check in real quick with everyone here and then, yeah, maybe we'll get started and talk about
Pengu Asia. Ross, what's up, my friend? How are you doing? How are you managing? I know
you're running with two phones. You're hosting one phone. I don't know if I should say that,
but what's up, my friend? Can you hear me? All good? Yes, bro. What's up? What's up?
Okay, what's up? What's up, GM, everybody gm gm all around asia i see so many different people from all all over asia joining in the spaces really really
proud and happy to see you guys here i mean it's been a long time coming uh but we're finally here
we've crossed the threshold we've launched and now we really just want to amplify and we really
want to run with it i can tell you so many exciting things coming to asia chin you have no idea what the team has
in stock um sometimes even i have no idea that's why we have spaces so we can get all the latest
alpha about what the team's going to be doing in asia and really just happy to be here and yeah
i'm managing two phones because we've got one for the main account we've got one for my personal
account uh it is a little bit tricky but i think i can manage uh with your guidance especially chin's like amazing with
x spaces so he's been teaching me guys and uh yeah great to see you here good vibes all around
and if you want to uh join up and speak a little bit share a little bit about your
paji and your pengu journey in asia feel free to raise a hand and we can give you a slot to speak about.
Pass it back to you, Chin.
I see a lot of homies down in the audience.
I know I ran a space last night
and we talked about spaces.
I know some people may be a little shy,
I see a lot of people down in the audience.
Just hit that request button.
I'll bring you up or I might just try to spam invite you. I see a lot of people down in the audience. Feel free to come up. Just hit that request button. I'll bring you up.
Or I might just try to spam invite you.
I see a lot of legends down in the audience.
But guys, again, thank you so, so much for being here.
Before I, you know, check in with the legend himself,
let me check in with another friend here.
Good morning, good morning.
I'm so excited for this space i was in the middle
of work hopped on x saw this and i was like thank god i didn't miss something so important so yeah
happy to be here can't wait to share my story i shared it so many times i'm gonna do it again
i'm gonna do it as many times as i need to to inspire other people So let's do this And Vera, you mentioned
So Vera, are you somewhere where it's morning?
Where you are located right now?
It's night for me, it's 9pm actually
But one thing I always say
I always say good morning whenever i join any call
i just think like it creates a good vibe right away like good morning the beginning you know
that's why yeah you know this is interesting you bring that up because i feel like
saying good evening is like yo i'm i'm heading out peace out like this is the day is gone good
evening but then when you say like good morning it it's like, yo, what's up? How are you doing? And stuff like that.
So yeah, I don't know what it is.
But anyways, let me check it real quick with the legend himself, Aaron Tang.
Aaron Tang, CEO of Igloo APEC.
Dude, what is up, my friend?
I don't know where you are in this world.
I know you've been traveling a lot, but what's up, my friend? How are you doing, man? I don't know where you are in this world. I know you've been traveling a lot, but what's up, my friend?
Well, it's evening from my side, so obviously.
Yesterday, I was in Bangkok.
Today, I'm in Ho Chi Minh City.
In fact, right now, I'm supposed to attend an event.
It's a speaker dinner for a conference that's organized by one of our,
you know, Pengu Vietnam leads from 2098. So yeah, I'm just here supporting him and I'm speaking in
the panel tomorrow as well. But you know, it's been a crazy week of traveling. I was in Hanoi
last week and I went to support Pengu Thailand for the last three days. And you know, last night
we have the big announcement.
And at the same time, I'm having a super serious flu.
I'm having high fever, losing my voice, my nose is blocked.
We still have to show up for the huddle.
Well, first of all, Aaron, hope you're feeling better.
I know you've been traveling a lot,
So hopefully you get a chance
to rest a little bit as well.
But you sound fine right now.
So really, really appreciate it.
won't ask you any tough questions
that did not get a chance
to go to Thailand and Vietnam the last couple weeks.
How has the vibe been over there and the Pudgy community?
I know that there's been a lot of things going on and stuff like that.
I think last week I saw the blow-up, the mascot dancing in the conference, right?
Yeah, I was the mascot transporter, right? In GM Vietnam. Yeah. Yeah, I was the mascot
I think it was quite surprising
it was at Ho Chi Minh City.
Wow. So, yeah. You know 10,000 people came on the first day. Wow.
10,000 people show up today.
are not even really in crypto.
traditional finance market.
if you look at the headlines, they are opening up for blockchain and crypto. And I guess Vietnam is opening up, right? I think Vietnam, if you look at the headlines,
they are opening up for blockchain and crypto.
And Hanoi is where all the governments are based at.
And yeah, I'm pretty impressed.
We didn't have an official event
just because we weren't sure how the reception is.
we should consider doing something at GM Vietnam.
Yeah, I think Vietnam has incredible talent.
Some of the top games and top developers are from Vietnam.
And in fact, it was a pleasant surprise.
I met a bunch of people who are abstract fanatics.
They were shouting abstract.
They were printing stickers of abstract.
And I met one platinum were shouting abstract. Yeah, they were printing stickers of abstract. And I met one platinum user
So, one of the rare breeds.
So, I think that's only 20,
probably 20 around the world.
Well, one of them in Vietnam.
did you want to ask something?
Did you want to say something?
I never thought I'd ever meet
a platinum user in my life
and you met one I've never met.
I met another one today, Ross.
So I think Vietnam is a market where, you know,
in terms of crypto trading volume,
they are top four or top five in the world.
So, you know, I think a lot of people in the West have no idea because they don't really speak English, right?
Everything's in Vietnamese.
But, you know, this is a market that we should really be super serious about.
In fact, I met a lot of people wanting to start like Penghu Hanoi and stuff like that.
So yeah, Ross, you know, gonna ask all these people to you
so that you can do your job.
But guys, I know in the audience,
you guys are ready for some alpha.
I gotta check in with the legend
Thank you so much for hopping on.
I know it's early in your time zone right now. But I just want to check in real quick with you, PPP.
How are you doing today, my friend?
It's 7 a.m., second day of school, getting the kids ready, but I had to come show support.
I'll tell you guys a little something.
Aaron, sick as a dog yesterday, still busting his butt.
And then he comes on the team Slack and just thanks us for, like, all the work that we've done.
And me and Luke were both like, dude, no, thank you.
Like, you guys have been putting on an absolute clinic out there.
So I just love Aaron and Cheryl so much just for everything that they do.
Cheryl so much just for everything that they do. Not only because they just work hard, but they're
just so grateful for all you guys and the team. So it just says a lot about who they are as people.
You know, when they're thanking us for all the hard work that they're doing, it says a ton. So
you guys are absolutely crushing it out there
So I cannot wait to see what Pingu Asia and Igloo APAC do.
I know it's just going to be like a huge, huge thing
And speaking of which, I think, was it last year, PP?
I think, I mean, Aaron, maybe correct me if I'm wrong,
but Aaron and Foxy got a chance to visit your home Thanksgiving.
Yes, they came and stayed with us for Thanksgiving.
Foxy got sick because she ate too much of my parents' honey.
And so it was like introducing her immune system to allergies she's never experienced before.
I'm hoping they come again for Thanksgiving this year.
And, you know, part of the family.
Anybody that wants to have Alabama Thanksgiving and plans on going to Art Basel, it's the perfect opportunity.
Because it's only like a two-hour flight from here to Miami.
So you can come experience Thanksgiving, and then we'll go have fun with other penguins.
And maybe for some context of people in the audience, I know Vera, you just unmuted your mic, but real quick.
Thanksgiving in the US, it's kind of like our, like in Asia, like kind of like Chinese New Year.
Like everyone, it's just like a feast.
People eat mashed potatoes.
Yes, definitely. It is definitely
So yes, definitely. Guys,
if you guys ever get a chance, like PB
said, come to Alabama for Alabama
Thanksgiving before Art Basel.
I highly, highly encourage you
The Asian equivalent of Thanksgiving is probably
But instead of like turkey, we've got like
a whole big pork and like
the vegans out there in Asia. But yeah, I think
that's probably the closest equivalent we
have to Thanksgiving. But yeah,
I would love to check out a real American
Thanksgiving one of these days. I've never had the
chance. You're invited, Ross. If you plan on coming to our Basil, you American Thanksgiving one of these days. I've never had the time. Well, you're invited, Ross.
If you plan on coming to our best, as well,
you can come into my family Thanksgiving.
Vera, do you want to add something?
I don't want to dox where you're from originally,
but like you're from Canada.
You guys have a Thanksgiving.
Do you guys have Thanksgiving over there?
And I was going to say, I would book my plane ticket in a heartbeat from Seoul to go to
PeePee's dinner, meet his kids and just like eat turkey together and talk about penguins.
That sounds like the best thing ever.
But I feel like people just tuning in again really appreciate
a lot a lot of legends i've seen the audience tuning in for the first time and you guys are
probably wondering i thought this is a pingu asia space why are we talking about turkey and stuff
like that uh but anyways guys before i think we're gonna get into some kind of some alpha here but
before we do guys if you guys could do us a huge favor,
if you guys could hit that bottom right corner,
a like, a comment, a repost, a bookmark,
any little goodie would be deeply appreciated.
Really appreciate it, guys. And see, if we can
break a record for our first Pengu Asia
space, let's see if we can get 100
Definitely, it's's gonna be fun
it's gonna be a jam uh vera did you want to say something so you got a hand up
chin i know you usually when you run your spaces you always ask questions to everybody and i'm here
to ask you a question can i nice go for it okay so my question is i want to hear how your journey with bengal
asia started because i don't think i've ever heard about it yeah you know that's actually a really
good question and i i think it was the end of last year in December, I got a chance to go to Taiwan for TBW.
And I knew Aaron and Cheryl were there.
And I think they just, before TBW,
they came straight from Miami.
I think that's right when the Pengu announcement happened, right?
And then, again, I knew Aaron and Cheryl.
We saw each other in New York.
And I think the first time, I believe Aaron, I met you in Miami for Art Basel a couple years ago.
But we weren't that close.
I wasn't helping out with some stuff here and there.
But yes, in Taiwan, I would say is when I got a chance to really talk with Cheryl, talk with Aaron,
and really kind of see the vision behind what were they're
trying to build, right? This Pingu Asia, Igloo Asia kind of thing.
At that time, I remember them telling me things. They're like, yo, you gotta,
like guys, this is kind of the secret. Okay.
This is the things we're cooking behind the scenes. But okay, guys. Okay.
Okay. Chin. Right. But like, yeah,
something big is going to happen in 2025.
and then we have the consensus event
in February in Hong Kong,
and then they wrapped a whole pudgy
which is insane to see that.
And I know originally that pudgy
was supposed to be wrapped on the tram for only two
weeks, but it actually lasted almost two months. It was pretty, pretty insane to see that. And even
my, again, context, I have family in Hong Kong and even my cousins, actually my brother-in-law,
I got a chance to see the Pudgy tram. I remember him taking a picture, sending it to me on
Instagram. He's like, hell, isn't that the P pudgy thing that you were talking about? I was like, yes, we got you.
We got you. So yes, definitely. That was kind of my initial way getting into Igloo Asia. But like,
guys, I've almost known you, Aaron, for almost two years, you and Foxy for almost two years now.
And just recently, I got a chance to uh actually
experience what you guys are doing in asia because i feel like a lot of times i see you guys were you
guys were in the u.s and stuff like that but uh yeah yeah i see you guys what's up yeah i know
just want to say it's been a pleasure working with you chinsality uh to be honest like you know
shara and i we we have done so many things at the grassroots level
and sometimes we just felt that you know there's a lot of things that is not being
broadcasted or not being shared on online on the timeline because as you know Asians you know
generally we're a bit more shy we don't really talk about stuff you know about ourselves or even
you know I don't think that's maybe i'm wrong but
i don't see a lot of people doing twitter spaces in this side of the world right as compared to
the americans so i guess that you you know you come in handy because you're you know you're asian
by blood right so and uh i remember you know sharon i was saying hey and why not we you know
try to talk to chinsan, right? He is definitely passionate
I remember meeting you two years ago, right?
you want to quit your Web2 job
And yeah, and then here you are,
you know, doing this full-time.
just so happy for you as well.
And yeah, I feel like you guys were like
at the start of my journey too. So yeah yeah really appreciate it and yeah i feel like you guys were like at the start of my journey too so uh yeah really appreciate it but guys it's time for some
pengu asia alpha but first off aaron how how was how was the behind the scenes maybe
you can share a little bit about like even launching like or maybe how about this like
the journey to launching yesterday officially pengu as Asia, Igloo Asia, how has that process been from the backside,
from the behind the scenes side of things?
Well, I don't know where to start because it's been a process for sure, right?
I think we wish that we announced it like three months before this,
but not until last night, but I guess everything worked out in the end you know i think uh the budget community has grown so much right like
we started as an nsc project to now having tengu holders i believe we have almost one million on
chain holders uh for tengu that's crazy so obviously you know yeah obviously a lot of
things that we do have to evolve.
And it's not easy to do it in Asia,
because Asia has so many languages,
we saw a joke with Luca and said,
hey, Asia is more operationally challenging
because I can't share something in English
and get critical mass in a specific country.
Because the biggest country in Asia is China, right?
And they are anti-crypto.
And, you know, a lot of the blockchain channels and platform in China is only available in China, not externally.
And obviously, Korea, Japan are incredible countries.
Great markets in terms of IP and crypto. But then they are all super localized, right?
So we have to be super sensitive of the local nuances and able to communicate stuff in a way that they also understand.
And obviously, me and Cheryl, we are based in Malaysia. Malaysia, we have like a 32 million population.
and people speak English, Malay and Chinese here.
So it's split into three major languages.
So all these things are at the back of our mind
which is why to be where we are today,
it's pretty tough, to be really honest.
There's a lot of internal debates, internal arguments, you know,
everyone's what to do, different ways of,
we all have different ways of doing things.
But I guess that now with Ross on board,
with you on board, Chantanity, and, you know,
and everyone on the team,
and also PeePee's and Lucas' blessing and support,
we finally figured a way.
Tango Asia is the community brand that will keep everything under wraps
And, you know, we have so many things picking up.
I hope that you have seen in the timeline for the last few months.
We have so many meetups happening in different parts of Asia,
and we're going to continue doing that.
Tomorrow, we have an event here in Ochi Ming as well.
So, yeah, you know, looking forward to...
In fact, i want this space
you know people should come out and speak and ask questions and you know put their requests because
we really want to do what you guys want yeah yeah and real quick just to echo that uh yeah guys if
you guys have any questions for aaron right about what's coming up or events feel free to hit that
request button and i'll do my best to bring you up. But yes.
And also speaking of which,
maybe some people in the audience are probably planning because I know
probably starting right now,
I feel like every other week is going to be a crypto event in Asia.
Maybe people are planning their schedules right now.
If you can share like what,
I know you mentioned in Vietnam,
there's going to be a Pengu event
I think the next few days
but it's going gonna be a big
one right because we are uh are doing the run with lowlands from ygg you know they license our ip
yeah in fact the second round of uh overpass was completed last week i believe and uh there's a lot
of uh asian pengu's got selected so yeah and uh we're gonna do something related to that uh
something related to that
we're going to start touring
they're going to be with us
the second half of the year,
the recent overpass submissions and stuff like that. Dude, let's go, let's go. And speaking of the recent overpass submissions
Was it your Pengu that got accepted?
but many of my friends got selected.
But it's fine, it's okay.
They'll always be next time.
We're really happy because YGG,
Lawland, they're launching
this very special edition Asian
map and if you guys I'll drop a little
bit of alpha to add on to what
Aaron said you know we're going to be planning
something really really cool
really really special with that Asian
map I can't give out too much details
but if you want to know you got to come and find
us at CoinFest Bali so we're going to be
there details to be dropped soon
you know in the next few days but yeah really really exciting event upcoming there and we're going to be there. Details to be dropped soon, you know, in the next few days.
But yeah, really, really exciting event
And we're really happy that, you know,
the YGG team wanted to launch
And we really licensed so many amazing,
amazing Pajis and Pengus.
And also coming up will be the Suple one.
So if you guys submitted to Suple as well,
yeah, they're going to be collectibles
coming to Asia, guys. Asians love cute things. So if you guys submitted Suple as well, yeah, there are going to be collectibles coming to Asia, guys.
when the announcement comes out.
If you don't get selected,
and more opportunities, right?
So congrats to those who did.
I think there are a few people
I don't know how to pronounce that.
Very, very good surprise.
I haven't heard your voice
I would chat a bit by message, but very happy to hear you every time
and see you so active on the space.
Yes, my Penguin has been selected and very good surprise
because it was actually the first time.
So very happy and very proud, actually,
to have chosen this one to buy it when I bought it.
And so for other people to also validate my choice by sending it through Overpass IP.
Congrats on Pudgy Asia on the Igloo APAC errand.
And so I had a very quick, small question, which was what's what our plans for Singapore what good
is is getting organized yeah you're asking about Singapore yes yes because I will I will be coming
okay yeah Singapore gonna be insane I think some of the venues that we secure are incredible uh you know i'm not sure
if i should announce which venue that we got but essentially you know what we're gonna do is that
there will be more than two to three events probably four events right and we have a lot
of different partners that we have partnered with uh i would say this, right? It involves like maybe a mascot parade,
And maybe there's some music festival
that we are partnering with as well.
we're going to be part of one of the Asia,
you know, biggest super club in Singapore.
there's a lot of things are cooking up.
Obviously, I don't want to say too much because things might change. super club in singapore so i think you know there's a lot of things are cooking up obviously
i don't want to say too much because things might change but you know we are definitely putting
singapore a huge priority this year no problem thank you very much sounds very very awesome
thank you thank you thank you good luck on everything and uh wish you the best guys you
know i i laugh because again uh tds appreciate you being here. But I was like, Aaron, we're giving a little bit of alpha.
I'm like, guys, it's going to happen, guys.
We're going to see Pengu on one of those F1 cars.
Because F1, right, is during that time.
I'm not saying, okay, guys, I don't know.
Okay, I don't know what's going to happen.
I don't know why I just thought of that.
But anyways, that's crazy.
And also, guys, I'm looking at the live listeners right now.
Guys, we have 80, 80 live listeners.
Really appreciate you guys being here.
Guys, we're 20 live listeners away from 100.
So guys, if you guys could do us a huge favor, if you guys want to show us some love, if
you guys could interact with the pinpo, actually hit the bottom right corner, like a comment. Actually, a comment actually would help us a lot. If you guys could
just say a comment, say what's up, say a GM, a Pengu GIF, that, anything would help us a lot.
And also, I forgot to mention, guys, I know some people might not want to come up to ask a question,
but feel free to put that in the comments, right? maybe tag me or ross so we can take a look in the comments if you guys have any questions as we go up move along this space
uh we'd love to hear from that as well but we also brought up uh ross right we brought up nikki
who i actually personally met in malaysia on stage uh nikki what's up hello gm jim Can you hear me, guys? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Okay, I just want to quickly plug Pax's adventure.
So I created a reel before about Pax touring around Batu Caves.
And one of my friends, his name is Rushi.
He brought Pax to Universal Studios Singapore.
So it's like a series of clips of Pax, the clip, the penguin, and then you just tour them around.
So maybe we can all create a series of packs touring around Asia, touring around the world, like Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, everywhere.
I have a couple of unedited clips and I can't wait to show it to you guys, but I hope you all joined it as well.
one is the one, Nikki, you mentioned.
So feel free, guys, take a look at what Nikki was talking about.
And yeah, Nikki, you took some time off for a day to really go to the,
I believe it's pronounced the Batuu Cave, right?
And then you bring Pax around.
it's really fun because I feel like
I wouldn't have enjoyed it
I want to create a series out of this
I want to go on more adventures with Pax
I really hope you guys join the trend.
Let's all do it together.
Let's tour PAX across Asia.
The first time I saw it, I was so entertained.
You guys can actually see at the top, I pinned it as well, Chin.
It says, when in Kuala Lumpur, PAX explores Batu Caves.
Batu Caves is a very touristy place.
It's a very nice place for us to bring tourists.
It's like a temple area in a cave.
And then when I saw it on the timeline,
I was just smiling because it's so cute to see packs around the world.
So we got to do packs around, you know, Asia and stuff like that.
You know, bring packs wherever you go.
And if you don't have one of those keychains yet,
those blue pengu keychains, just join any of our events.
We usually give them away.
You have to make sure you come to our events and get them.
So yeah, thanks again, Nikki.
It's really, really, really fun seeing you do that.
And I also wanted to let you guys know that Nikki is actually part of another sub-community that they've started in a very special place in Johor Bahru. So there's a little place called Forest City,
but I'll let Nikki tell a little bit more
because I know a lot of Paji holders
are flying into that area.
So Nikki, maybe you can share a bit more
with the rest of everybody here,
Actually, Ross told me that there's a couple of pengus
who are DMing him about it.
So I'm going to share a bit about it.
So it's like a place built by Balaji Srinivasan,
like ex-CTO of Coinbase and a partner in A16Z.
So he gathered all techno-optimists around the world
into a place in network school where they feed you,
they give like different workshops,
learn-a-thons about DeFi, AI, tech.
They also provide healthy foods that are patterned to Brian Johnson's Blueprint.
I'm not sure if you've heard about it, but it's about healthy foods that helps you live longer
and be mindful about your health in general.
You can join on a monthly basis.
So, it's like a subscription type of service where you pay $1.5 per month.
And then you can have all of those amenities like food, accommodation, and all.
So, if you guys want, if you have more questions, feel free to DM me.
But I think that's basically the gist of it.
And we also have a sub-community.
We are just starting it out.
And then we have a mascot here.
And then people are trying to play around with it.
Like they're putting it in the gym.
And then they make packs, do some workouts and lifting.
And then no one's spotting you.
so funny because like there's so many people who are like also interested in with it as well yeah
you know what'd be cool actually and i feel like this is gonna happen like we're gonna see pax and
all over asia like people filming him yeah doing things in uh you know different countries doing
uh the asia tour and stuff like that uh it's going to be really funny. It's going to be interesting.
I think PAX is a really great mascot
where you can do a lot of things with it.
Like you can do a day in a life with PAX.
You can do tours and like travel
So there's a lot of things
and lots of content that we can create out of it.
And I think we just need to
like be more creative about it. And I think lots of content that we can create out of it. And I think we just need to be more creative about it.
And I think lots of holders that are very enthusiastic
who are starting to create their reels of their own.
Vera, I see you got a hand up.
I feel like you've created content with Pax before.
Yeah, lots of content from Vera.
I love it and and guess who
is coming to network school in october and i cannot excited to see you here i know i cannot
wait to make content together i think it's going to be huge i think it's going to be really really
fun so yeah i think network school is an incredible opportunity for like-minded people
and also like if you want to lock in if you
want to build together if you want to talk about the community i think it's a very good place
so i decided to check it out and somehow i got accepted i don't know why but i'm excited let's go
yeah barry was steaming me the other day she's like they want to be roommates oh yeah see you in the forest city
if i had if i had a chance i would have ditch my roommate and i'm just joking i couldn't decide i
couldn't decide between singapore and malaysia so i decided to stay in forest city which is like both
technically yeah it's just an hour away from singapore so it wouldn't be a hassle to just go there if you wanted
to amazing amazing well guys if you don't notice if you haven't noticed guys there's going to be
just a lot of things happening in asia right now and wherever you are located again i feel like
there's going to be some pudgy event happening in the next few months.
Again, I should have done this in the beginning.
But guys, if you guys want the latest updates
and things about Pengu Asia,
feel free to follow the Pengu Asia account
and also the Pengu Asia Telegram account
that's linked in the bio.
Feel free to take a look at those things
all the information you need to know.
But also, Ross, we brought up someone maybe you're familiar with.
I haven't met before, but this person has a sick, pretty sick pudgy here.
Yeah, I'm walking on the street in Shanghai,
and then I clicked X and said this is the first space for Pengu Asia
So definitely I have to come here to support. Actually, Chang Sanity, I met you before when you know like at Glass Mansion where you are doing live stream
I was standing, you know, right next to you. Yeah, right behind. Yeah.
Nice. Were you on the stream too?
Yeah, you were streaming about, you know, like, you know, there was a long queue over there.
Like a lot of people, yeah, waiting in a queue
just to get in a glass mansion.
But yeah, Andy, first of all,
really appreciate you being here,
even though you're walking in Shanghai.
But like, Andy, and again, maybe I'm not as familiar,
but like, how long have you been like a Pudgy member?
Yeah, so I think i got into the community uh it was uh in a year and then uh for a year and then but i've been witnessing this uh for a long time and also bought a token and before this i
bought little pudgy and then uh i was also you know following along the news of how Pudgy got into Walmart and then you know even bigger into different stores in Asia
We also recently had the agreement and then advancing into the Japanese community
So yeah, I mean because I used to work in the brand and fashion industry
So I was very active on focusing on how you know the web 3 and NFTs how can this be?
Really connected to the stores in Web2. Yeah, so this has been like a, you know, kind of focus of mine for a long time.
Yeah, I'm very excited about what's, you know, coming next about the brand.
But yeah, no, it was nice to meet you, even if it was short while,
even my live stream or whatnot.
But hopefully I get a chance, Andy,
and maybe we have more of a conversation
and stuff like that in other months.
Definitely get the chance.
Because I've been speaking with Andy.
it's like she's so fired up and passionate
So if anyone here, if you're a Paji holder in China area, in Shanghai, you want to meet up, well, guess what?
Andy's going to be planning something really soon.
I'm working together with her on that.
So it's going to be really fun, right?
We love it when people get together across Asia.
Like Aaron has said, like you have said, you know, every week there is something happening in Asia for Paji
holders, Pengu holders to fly in
and just have fun, right?
So look forward to that. I think Andy, when you've got
the details, you'll share it and then we'll share it on the
Pengu Asia account. So again, like Chin said, guys,
if you want to stay up to date, you've got
to follow the number one account in Asia,
Pengu Asia on X, and also
go to our link in the bio, join our
Telegram channel, that's where we're going to put in all the alpha,
And Chin, if you don't mind,
actually, I brought up another speaker, Fidesz.
He's from the Philippines
and they had a wonderful event really recently.
So just speaking about events in Asia,
maybe Fidesz, you can share a little bit
about what happened in the Philippines,
and I'll try and find the post
and pin it to the top so you guys can see too. Hi Ross, hi Chin, hi everyone, thanks for having me here.
So yeah, I think the most recent event that's happened here in the Philippines
with the whole fudgy thing, there was one fudgy holder from Canada that went to the Philippines, Little Wen, if you're
So it was just a random meetup.
I think Jill initiated a meetup with Little Wen.
And yeah, I think we were surprised that a lot of people went, actually.
Initially, we thought we were just going to be a small group.
Turned out, we can't fit a whole table.
I think we were, if I'm not mistaken, around 20.
So yeah, we met Lil Wenz.
We had great Filipino food.
He liked it. And I think after eating at that night, he actually went the next day and ate there again with his wife.
The Filipinos really take care of you guys. So anybody here paji holders go to the philippines
if you're hungry they've got so much food and and coconut and smoothies and amazing stuff i was so
jealous when i was seeing the pictures i was like oh my god the food looks so good let me let me see
if i can find a picture of the food and take it to the jumbotron take a second yeah i'm here but
yeah really thank you as well, you know,
to all the Paji Philippine community
for making everybody feel welcome.
I think that's really important
because when you fly around, you know,
sometimes you're in a country
you've never been there before.
And then when the community just makes you feel warm and welcome,
I mean, really, that's what,
I love that about Asia, right?
You know, we always gather around a big table,
we share dishes, it's very communal.
And that's really the true Paji spirit, I think,
that everybody feels like this is a home
where everyone can feel like someone, right?
I think that's really the vision
of what we want to achieve as well.
So yeah, props to you, Fidesz.
I really appreciate you guys taking care
of our little Wenzel airdrop from Canada.
Yeah, thank you as well. appreciate you guys taking care of our little Windsor airdrop from Canada. Yeah.
If anyone is going to the Philippines,
We're waiting for you, Ross. We're waiting for you
to try out all the shakes, all the
I will come here. I think this year
there's some events happening in
Philippines, so stay tuned for more details on
Pango Asia. We'll be announcing, you know.
I know my good friend Jayban was there.
I know he's a big A punk.
I know he's a cool dude, you know, KOL.
you can give him a little bit of hard time for him
so he can change maybe his PFP to Pudgy, maybe.
Yeah, yeah, that's funny.
Yeah, Ross, did you want to say something?
Yeah, I'm trying to invite a few more speakers to come up.
I see Sam Gore, Cindy, Kim.
Oh, I see Uncle CK from Singapore.
Dude, CK, this brother is, man, he has more energy.
I know he's, I don't want to age him, but like this guy's an ageless wonder, man.
He has more energy than I do.
I'm like, have his age, dude.
CK, if you can come up, man, bro, we'd love to have you, bro.
Yeah, CK is one. Definitely a legend there.
Whoa, Chin, did you see who just
I don't want to butcher his last name.
Nice to chat with everybody.
Sorry, I still have a morning voice.
My kid tried to wrestle me at 7 a.m., but I'm here.
No, I really appreciate, Steve, you coming up.
Again, I know in the U.S. time zone right now, it's very early there.
But, Steve, how are you, man? I feel like this is the first time I've heard you coming up again. I know in the US time zone right now, it's very early there. But Steve, how are you, man?
I feel like this is the first time I've heard you on Spaces.
Maybe you have been on Spaces, but I know you just were in Comic-Con, right?
I think it was last week, right?
Doing some stuff with Pudgy.
I was, I guess, officially in March.
I've done six, seven, eight industry trade shows in this time. and i got to learn um in new york with the web3 native audience uh uh for nft nyc that i got a
chance to do some things with the vibes crew pp and i hung out i really got to uh i went to an
abstract event i i witnessed the power of pudgy and and how the brand is perceived in the space. So that was a meaningful level up for me.
But then getting to Comic-Con,
where I would estimate 99% of the consumer interactions we've had
are not with customers that own our digital assets, but really are ones that are obsessed with how
cute PAX and Pauly cartoons are on Instagram.
I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that at Comic-Con, Wednesday night is preview night.
The doors opened at 6 p.m.
And they closed at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
For four and a half days, we had a giant line to play our claw machine,
to tell the stories of what this brand means to them.
to tell the stories of what this brand means to them.
I witnessed the entire family from little kids to young parents to grandparents loving,
Another phenomenon that I witnessed was that we have this idea of the couple collector,
this idea of the couple collector, meaning that the man and woman, boy, girl, whatever,
they collect this brand as a couple. They see themselves in it. And for retail, that's a big
deal because that's a shared budget, meaning that we can deliver a higher velocity, higher revenue,
higher sell-through, higher projections, profit per
square foot. That's the ultimate KPI that retailers look for. So it was fantastic from a consumer
perspective. And then on top of that, Walmart came to the show, and we had about a 45-minute meeting with Walmart there.
And the entire time as we're talking through strategy and what part of the store we live in and how we do cross-categorical promotions, they just witnessed this amazing line the whole time. And it was a killer
backdrop. Other fun meetings, we had an amazing meeting with Urban Outfitters there. We had an
amazing meeting with BBC. I remember the, I didn't know anyone at BBC.
Like the news channel, BBC?
Yeah, so the BBC, the news channel,
is actually behind the number one streaming TV show in the world.
Bluey is the number one show in the world based on streaming minutes.
And the secret is that it is as fun for the adults as it is for the kids.
So they're able to, you know, kids, when they obsess over a property, they want to watch it over and over and over, right?
And parents usually have to kind of deal with it and manage it the best they can. Bluey is the first example where the parents don't mind it. They're like, oh yeah,
cool. We'll co-view it in the living room. So the SVP of BBC comes into the booth and she's just
like, what? How did I not know about this? This is like amazing.
This is post-Blueie, pre-Snoopy.
Like we hit this perfect, you know, kind of white space.
And so then she came back and brought three more people.
And they're like, oh my God, let's talk about episodic content and blah, blah, blah.
about episodic content and blah, blah, blah.
So really good enterprise and industry meetings
over and above this awesome validation from families,
from women, from young people, from older people,
Like the width of our potential customer base was so,
it's just, yeah, it base was so diverse.
And all of this activity that I follow from Cheryl and Aaron and the rest of the crew here is just supercharging my pitch.
It is supercharging me as a human being.
We all know all trends starting in
Asia anyway, but to have this kind of like simultaneous validation of everything you guys,
you know, have going on in, in your region to all of the, you know, retail programs that,
uh, we're pitching for now all over the world, uh, is, has just been a really different,
um, just, uh, yeah, an amazing experience so far.
So just genuine gratitude to everyone on this call
Really cool to work with you.
Again, I feel like the space is getting good.
I'm messaging Ross in the background.
I was like, Ross, I think you're going to have to host
because I actually have to hop off.
But you know what I think is interesting, Ross, I think you're going to have to host because I actually have to hop off. But like, you know, one thing's interesting,
what you bring up about like Asia
that you were talking with the BBC
Malaysia Blockchain Week event
And I remember meeting the artists in Malaysia, one of the artists from Pudgy Penguins, I believe it was the Comic-Con. And I remember meeting the artist in Malaysia,
one of the artists from Pudgy Penguins.
And then I remember him telling me,
he's like, yo, like in the next few days,
like in Malaysia, I was talking to him.
He's like, yo, like I'm going to go to San Diego to Comic-Con.
And then the next few days, I see him in Comic-Con,
And, you know, Steve, what you guys were doing,
like doing some really cool things in Comic-con and all that but uh yes that was really
cool to see yeah let me connect the dots even further so afik was a celebrity at comic-con
we had one line out of our booth to play the claw machine and do some other things but then when a feat came
in we started another line and people lined up anytime that he was available he drew these one
of one sketches these little pangu he would ask the customer hey like you know what are you into
and then draw these one-off uh little uh yeah sketches and I mean, you should have seen how emotional it was.
And because this was the third time we were doing Comic-Con, we had customers that already
had a story with the brand.
They've already interacted with us.
So they were coming back and telling us how they met Afik.
And we had this one little girl that drew little pictures for Afik that she brought
back to him this year because of the picture that he drew for her last year. Those little moments,
Afik and his art, it will go down in pudgy lore. These one-of-ones will be a major part of this brand.
And Afik should be celebrated.
He's got unbelievable talent and a huge heart.
He just attracts positive things to him and makes every interaction better.
I just think he's a super cool dude.
Yeah, and for those of you who don't know,
Afik is actually based in Malaysia.
Yeah, he's a homegrown talent over here.
We're really proud that he's over here with us.
And I hope you all get to meet him one day.
He's really, really talented.
I've met him and he's like an amazing artist.
Really glad that he gets to work with you guys
and really, you know, just proliferate the brand. I mean, I saw the stories, right, that he gets to work with you guys and really you know just proliferate the brand i mean i saw the stories right that he posted about if anybody can help
me find them you can link it up as well on the jumbotron where he was making like you said
artwork for kids and i think the i mean you came up with a great term i think just now the couple
couple um buying stuff together right um but one that i yeah the couple collector oh collector i
love that couple collector the one that i've seen couple collector. Oh, collector. I love that couple collector.
The one that I've seen recently in Asia is actually intergenerational penguin proliferation.
So we had like parents bringing their kids and we had mascots during the pengu week just two weeks ago.
And kids just go up and they hug the mascot.
And it's like it's like a natural behavior.
Like they see a penguin, they hug a penguin,
right? We got to, we got to capitalize on that guys. You know, wherever you are in Asia, we know
Asians love cute things and parents love it when their kids are having a great time too. So, you
know, these are, these are just some of the amazing things that we get to experience with Paji and the
Pengu brand. So yeah, thanks for sharing those stories. I can, I'm inviting a few more speakers
to come and join me. So if you see an invite,
please come and join me. Oh, Foxy is here. Hi, Foxy. I'm going to invite you as well. Please
come up. Please come up. I think Vera had a hand up. So Vera, I'll let you speak first.
And then if anybody else sees an invite, just come up and just let's have some fun.
I just wanted to top on what Steve was saying about Afik. Just like go back to that a little bit.
Just so you guys know, his personality, he is probably the nicest, the kindest, and the most humble guy I've ever met in my life.
Not just in Rep3, like in general.
And I think he's such a good representation of people in the huddle like
what kind of people join the huddle what kind of people care about pingu and pudgy it's people with
a big heart people who are very genuine people who believe in like they just support each other
and i i absolutely love that and i think this is the most inspiring thing for me like sharing that
kind and good energy and i just i would love to see more of that in the huddle like i absolutely love it
love it love it absolutely true i think we all definitely can relate to that
um speaking about the huddle speaking about builders building in asia i invited one speaker
his name is daniel i'm gonna let him share a little bit about about that wonderful coffee project that he had with overpass and stuff and I think
Daniel you're looking for more pudgees to put on overpass was that right maybe
you can share a little bit more and those of you listening in make sure you
pay attention you might just see your pudgee and your penguin on a coffee hey
Rose thank you so much for having me and congrats on Pengu Asia yes
actually we got the licensing but we but the submission of deadline was already 4th of August.
And right now we have 1,800 submissions and I'm reviewing one by one.
So it was very hard to go and pick different NFTs, right?
NFTs, right? So many cute Pudges and it's very hard to pick. But yeah, we're still actually
So many cute badges and it's very hard to pick.
missing one Pudge. We need to check a few options, but we will come up with later more options to
partner up with more Pudges for sure. Awesome. Thank you. Thank you for building and thank
you again for getting Pudges featured on your products. I'm pinning it to the top. It's taking
a bit of time to refresh.
But basically, guys, maybe Dan, you just share a little bit
about what you're doing in Thailand with that business
and why you chose to put Penguins onto your coffee sachets.
So I have a coffee business here in Thailand for the last five years.
And part of what we, I mean, I'm deep into Web3,
and part of the way that we want to kind of promote our NFT project
is that the coffee sales that we generate
will bring back kind of rewards to all our holders,
which, by the way, we're launching on Abstract very soon.
And yeah, the license deal was obviously a no-brainer
because you guys have the strongest community in Asia and all the world in Asia
and I mean we're extremely grateful that the our licensing deal went through with Overpass
and help as well help you proliferate budgets around the world.
Awesome thank you again for sharing and for those of you listening in make sure you always pay
attention to overpass and of course just stick to pangu asia x account our telegram any upcoming
overpass deals in asia we're going to be dropping the links hot right hot hot hot and really
appreciate you daniel for you know including pajis into your business if anybody here if you're
running a business in asia we want to know right we're
going to be building something called the pangpal mafia of asia if you guys have heard of it before
i'll share a little bit because i was kind of new to this concept and aaron was explaining it to me
so if you guys know uh paypal right paypal is like a you know a financial provider they can
you can send money and stuff and so paypal had a paypal mafia term right where like the people who
they went off to do their own businesses and build like unicorns and billion dollar businesses and
stuff huge names um and then that concept came into pachi penguins right and so pachi penguins
actually does have a pengpal mafia we call it a pengpal mafia and i'm going to be working
really closely with the community to build one for asia Because this is what we love to see, right?
We don't just want people just, you know, I'm a holder and then I don't do anything.
No, we don't want people like that.
We want people who are creators.
We want people who are wholesome content makers, business people connecting with each other.
I can guarantee, guys, if you have never experienced it, just come for any Pengu events
and you will meet such amazing people from around the whole world and connect with them and build.
And, you know, the more you connect with other builders in the Pengu space, the more that you get inspired to build as well.
Right. So I see a few more people in the audience.
Let me see if I can invite a few of them.
I've invited. I see Berko. Berko.
Come on. Come on up. Come on up.
I've invited you to speak to JYP, come share.
Foxy, if you can, come and speak as well.
Sam Gaw, oh, ST McFly, yeah, nice, nice, nice.
Please come and join us as well if you can.
I know some of you might be walking around or might be busy,
but that's fine, if you can join us, we always love to hear you guys.
one hour mark so i'll just let a few more people speak and then we'll slowly wrap things up and a
few reminders before we close the space yeah hello hello vera i see your hand up go ahead uh ross i
just wanted to add up to what you were saying about creating content and this is just exactly
what nikki was doing i think it's so amazing to see more people make more content with Tango and with Paji and the little merch. And as a content strategist, like I really encourage
everybody in the huddle to make more content. Like if you want to be more involved in the community,
if you want to even grow, if you want to connect with more people, the best way to do that is to
just share, like talk about your experiences, talk about the events in Asia you go to, talk about your merch, like share it all, share it with people, make creative videos and you will see how supportive and how amazing people are in the community.
They will always be there for you, hyping you up in the comments.
And yeah, like I really recommend to everybody who wants to, you know, grow their presence here.
Like just do it. just talk about it.
Vera is a great community creator.
And you know, anytime that you see a blue penguin,
you've got to take a picture and post it.
Vera has taught us a growth hack, right?
get the most attention on X, right?
I know everybody, if you love doing AI,
those are great posters and stuff. That's really good, right? AI know everybody, if you love doing AI, those are great posters and stuff.
That's really good, right?
AI is really creative and people love it.
But if you want to go viral,
you got to take an in real life picture.
Yeah, so please make sure you go and get that.
I see a few more speakers that I've invited come up.
Let me go to Sam first and then I'll go to Christine.
Sam, you've got your hand raised up.
Share a little bit about, you know,
building in Pengu, Asia. What do you love about Asia? Where are you from and what do you do?
Hey, GM, GM. Yeah, how about Vera with some AI as well?
Sorry, say that again, Vera AI?
How about getting Vera's pictures and then adding AI to it?
Oh, well, you know, only if she wants to.
But she loves her in real life pictures, yeah.
But Sam, if you guys don't know this, Sam is a wonderful person.
I just got a chance to meet him actually last week in Taiwan.
And let me find that picture and pin it right to the top,
But what I'm looking for, maybe Sam sam you can share a little bit about that and real quick sam there is a reason why i have my real picture
if you guys see i'm holding my penguin because i'm a penguin holder and so it's a it's a big
brain move it's there's a strategy behind it. Nice. I don't know.
I think Sam might be rugging, though.
I invited him back as a speaker.
You can join as a speaker again.
Actually, I was trying to test the spaces earlier today,
and there were so many issues earlier this morning.
I couldn't even launch the spaces.
I'm glad that we actually managed to run it.
But usually at night, because I think so many people are using spaces,
that it becomes a little bit laggy.
But don't worry, Stam, if you can, if you can hear me,
just try and join the speaker session again.
If not, I'll go on to the next person.
Christine. Hello, Christine.
Nice to see you on the spaces.
Hello, hello. Thanks for inviting me as a speaker.
So this is actually my first time
being on stage as a speaker at Twitter Space. And I'm super happy that Pengu Asia is the
first place I'm speaking at. So I've joined Chin's spaces several times and he kept sending
me invites to speak, but I was too shy to accept them.
But finally today I'm here.
So I just wanted to say thank you.
I just wanted to say thank you to Pengu Asia team and also Pengu Malaysia community because I recently flew to KL to attend Pajigy events during Malaysia Blockchain Week and it was
actually my first trip to Malaysia.
And Malaysian Pengu community was so welcoming and they hosted best events during Malaysia
Blockchain Week and I really had a great time there.
And it's very exciting to see some of the friends I met there on this space here. And I'm really happy for Pengu Asia's successful kickoff.
And I'm super excited to see everything coming.
And Christine, if you guys didn't hear, she's actually from Korea.
So if there are any other Korean penguins here, you know, feel free to connect.
I'm going to upload a cute picture because I remember that when Christine came for Malaysian Blockchain Week,
actually I should call it Pengu Blockchain Week, she said that she's going to dress up just like her Paji in real life.
So guys, I pinned it to the top. Can you guys see it?
She dressed up just like her little Paji. I think that's amazing.
So cute. Yeah, so thank you, Christine. Really glad that you had a great time here in Malaysia. And yeah, we've got amazing plans coming, you know, hopefully in Korea very, very soon. There's going to be some big blockchain events. So stay tuned for that. Yeah, I really appreciate it. Let's go to a few more speakers. We've got Estee McFly. I hope I'm saying that right. Sir, you're welcome to open your mic and speak.
Sir, you're welcome to open your mic and speak.
Yeah, GM, GM from the USA, everybody.
This is probably my first time on the Pengu Asia speaking with you guys.
So I follow so many guys throughout our entire year here and you guys are crushing it.
I really appreciate all the amazing stuff you guys are putting out.
I remember, Ross, you were just mentioning some things about, you know, AI versus doing stuff in real life and how in real life stuff is definitely the way to go.
And I fully agree. Although I am an AI creator as well, I think a lot of people have known that
I do photography in real life as well. And one of the things I'm looking forward to as well is going
to be going to Art Basel later this year. And I'm going to bring my camera and document a lot of things
and get some great content for everyone.
And I hope that can help people enjoy the event
from the other side of the world as well.
So I just really wanted to come up and give some kudos to you guys
for really just doing such a great job over there.
You guys are an inspiration to us on this side of the world as well.
But I haven't really had a chance to speak with a bunch of you and I hope to do more of that in the future
But keep doing what you do and I'm just happy to be a part of the huddle with you guys
And we are happy to have you as part of us as well
Thank you so much for coming up to say that really really really means a lot to us
You know every time that someone from another part of the world comes in
and leaves a positive word and comment, I mean, it really, the encouragement really helps.
It's not easy, you know, building a community.
If you ever guys want a challenge in your life, try building a community.
The Paji Penguins journey has not been an easy one from ups and downs,
from bull markets to bear markets, you know, especially the bear markets, right?
Bull market, everybody's happy.
You know, people are really excited.
But the bear markets, yeah, that's when you really get tested.
And, you know, building is not easy, but we're here for the long run.
We're here for a good time, you know.
And also we want to mostly I just want to repeat what Aaron and Foxy have always instilled in me, that the real vision here
is to build a home where everyone can feel like someone, right? So if you can feel the warmth
of the Pengu Asia huddle from all the way in the US to all the way from every corner of the world,
then I think we're doing something right. So again, thanks so much, ST McFly. I really appreciate that.
Sam Gore, I see you have come back as a speaker.
I hope your ex is working now.
Yeah, so I think on that point,
we should actually have some photos
and then enhance it with AI.
I think that's very easy for everyone to do right now.
And yeah, so I'm based in Taiwan.
So I'll be going back to hong kong for the bitcoin
conference and then um possibly going to taipei blockchain week and then singapore token 2049
so um i what i think about uh pudgies well actually penguin asia is that um we do a lot of food stuff
so that's always something that catches my attention
and especially when we're in asia we should do disgusting food because that's something that you
know a lot of people have not experienced and we should just like challenge them to have it
and um another thing that we can do is like we can do all you can eat like durians we knew or you can
eat like oysters or challenges like that and i'll probably beat most of you guys on those
like oysters or challenges like that.
And I'll probably beat most of you guys on those.
Well, I think the most exotic food I've tried in Asia
was probably frog's legs.
I don't know about you, Sam,
but what's the most exotic or the most weirdest food
that you've tried in Asia?
We have the full frog, not just the legs.
We have the full frog as well
so you can you can get that in time man i don't know whether i'll eat the full frog but uh yeah
but yeah you guys heard it from sam sam gore he's an amazing guy i met him again last week
in taiwan for the pudgy taiwan meetup if you scroll up on the jumbotron you'll see some pictures and
stuff from all the events from vietnam to to Taiwan to all the little huddles getting
together. I wanted to invite someone else I saw. Yes, there he is. I tried meeting this
guy in Taiwan, but he's like a mystery, right? It's really almost impossible to meet him.
And all I hear is his voice. So, Loki, good to see you, Loki. How are you? Ni hao, ni hao.
I'm not used to spaces before midnight.
So, I was having dinner earlier.
Yeah, I'm not even sure I'm a real person anymore.
So, I will probably meet you I'm a real person anymore.
But I will probably meet you in Singapore.
Who's going to be in Singapore?
Token is coming up end of this year, guys.
We're going to be planning some big stuff.
So if you're going to be Singapore-Loki,
you definitely got to meet up, okay?
Because Taiwan, even though I came all the way to your country,
you didn't come. I wanted you to come for the lunch event.
Yeah, it was raining a bit.
But if you guys don't know,
Loki is an amazing, amazing supporter of the Paji ecosystem.
And I hope to meet up with...
Okay, if you're coming to Singapore,
you guys already heard he's coming to Singapore.
I think many of us are going to be flying in for token.
So I want to see you guys there.
Do book your flights and your accommodation early.
There's one tip I can give you.
It's not much of an alpha, but it's more like a practical tip.
Please book early because things will go up in price, right?
It's also the Formula One weekend.
So make sure you book early so you don't miss out.
Let me see if there's anyone else.
If anybody else has a question, you want to ask something,
I'll open the time a little bit more.
If you guys want to come up.
I don't think I've spoken to Husker before on X basis.
Husker, you want to come up and share a little bit?
Oh, JYP has accepted my speaker invitation. Haska, do you want to come up and share a little bit? Come, come, come. Let me see. Oh, JYP has accepted
talking about Singapore and a Singaporean appears.
been in Paji and Tango Asia so far?
Yeah, I think it's been great.
I've known Cheryl and Aaron for really long
and I'm super happy to see them really pushing especially like starting in
Malaysia and then now finally we have like Igloo APEC and the other
accounts up. I think Asia has a lot of potential in terms of the Paji side and also especially the toys and
I think looking forward to see what's going to come next. I think outside Malaysia like
honestly whenever I go to KL it's like it's always good vibes and food's better there.
Yeah, I mean, like, okay, like,
I mean, I'm based in Singapore,
and usually whenever, like,
Khaji friends come over to Singapore,
if they want to go out for dinner and stuff.
So, you know, whenever you guys are in Singapore,
Happy to, like, you know, bring you guys around
It may not be as good as Malaysia,
but I'll try my best to bring you around my favorite places.
I want to make Token Singapore a good experience
for people who are coming to Singapore.
Big congrats to Pengu Asia.
Happy to be here. Thank you so much jyp
um i we met for the first time at one of our events in malaysia it was our tongke event really
fun event um and he's such a you know he's such a humble guy who just came early you know people
usually come late right malaysians unfortunately as a malaysian i have to say that we're a little
bit not so punctual but he came early just sat in the corner and I was like well who's this guy and I came up to him
and said hi his name is JYP I said oh my god you're JYP it's so nice to meet you and like
you said about food right so again just repeating again what I said earlier whenever penguins fly
around the world whenever you're in a country just come to the Pengu Asia chat and say hey guys I'm
here you know is there anyone else here in this country, just come to the Pengu Asia chat and say, hey guys, I'm here.
Is there anyone else here in this country that can help me out?
You can DM him, ask him for places to go, stuff to see.
And just today, we had a friend.
I don't know if he's still in the audience, Bosa.
And he was asking, I'm in Japan.
And we connected him on the Pengu Asia Telegram.
So guys, the Telegram is an amazing place
to connect with everybody in Asia right now.
All you need to do is just go to the Pengu Asia X account,
go to the bio, join the Telegram and introduce yourself.
And if you're flying around to any country in Asia,
we're covering like more than 10 countries
we have covered in Asia, all uniting under one banner.
So please come and connect with the whole community
and we'll get you sorted.
Whether it's food, recommendations, stuff to see,
and, you know, it's all good.
Okay, I see Foxy came up.
But Loki, you've got your hand raised.
So we'll let Loki say a few words before I welcome Foxy.
who's behind the Pengu Asia account?
He's delegated the access to me
so that I can come up as a co-host.
You may hear his voice one day
Pengu could be either one.
It's a big mystery, you know.
He's a bit like you, Loki.
Nobody's met him yet in real life
You just got to come to our events
to find out yeah anyway thanks loki appreciate it uh let me pass it over to foxy the queen of asia
you know we would not be here pengu honestly i can say if you guys have if you guys have been
building in asia you know that pengu asia igloo apex would not exist without foxy and aaron working
together and you know, Foxy,
Foxy is like, I'm a community lead, but Foxy is like the community lead of all the community leads.
Every time you talk to her, you think that she has just drank three cans of Red Bull because
the energy that she has. I talked to 10 people and I'm tired, you know, so let me pass the mic
over to Foxy to introduce herself a bit and talk a bit about Pengu Asia.
PP is the head of the head of the head of community.
He started way before Luka, so that's like the daddy.
So I learned a lot from PP, of course.
Thanks, Loki, for coming up as well.
Didn't expect you to come.
Hi, guys. Like, Pengu Asia, yesterday officially launched with Eagle APEC as well, with Aaron, of course. PP has been, HQ has been very supportive, and we planned this for a while.
So I pinned this up, and that is the picture of Luca, Aaron and I.
That was the day and PP was there too.
That was the day in Malaysia KL.
PP had a great talk on the panel.
That was the day when we solidified, we want to open the Eagle APAC.
So how the story came by was that Luca loves Asia.
was that Luca loves Asia,
but then he wanted to have a more concrete team to build Asia
And he wants to really focus on abstract.
So he felt like there should be a team in Asia
to try to proliferate and also a lot of brand partnerships,
but no one is taking care of that so i have been like you know head of asia or you know doing all the community work and stuff like
that but um to have uh to really look into asia and tap into this asia market with 15 key or 14
key markets that we have under pangu asia is not it's not easy It's not just one person or two person can do it. So we decided to open
the Eagle APAC and have a dedicated team for it, which is Ross, Sven, Rick, a few of us,
who else? Of course, Aaron, Ian as well. So we are recruiting more in our Asia team. So please,
So please, please, anyone who wants to work with us
or are looking to be in this flagship or rocket ship of craziness,
We are more than happy to have more Pudgies in our team.
So we have our Pangu China, Wen Xue Daka.
We always look for him whenever we wanted to have to know more of nuances of the Chinese.
Chinese and Korean has been our biggest market.
Our most important market as well.
So these are the two markets that we are going to go very full into.
And then, of course, Malaysia has always been, Pajing Malaysia has always been a darling.
They are the community benchmark for us.
How do we build a community?
We have so many key markets that we have here.
It will be very interesting to see for the next Q3 and Q4 what we have on our plates. So there are a lot of partnerships already lining up,
a lot of events, of course, for KBW, for Singapore Token 49, Bali is coming up soon,
Webex. So we have like a big huge series of events there. So yeah, very looking forward to build more
with Asia team, with HQ supporting us.
Luca is very, very happy.
And he's very, he gives us like some,
It's like, oh, Asia is going to be so huge.
we're going to live up to the expectations.
We have never seen a web3 projects company that would give so much resources so much help so much positiveness building in Asia so yeah very very thankful for HQ team and and Luca to give us this
opportunity so I hope we can see much more of the culture,
much more of the partnerships,
everything that's going to flourish in Asia.
I forgot to share my own story
about how I started with Penguin Asian
and maybe I'll wrap up after the end of this.
It all started for me one day
when Aaron was talking to me in a bar somewhere.
And he's like, hey, bro, have you seen this Penguin NFT project?
And I had only ever lost money on NFTs in my whole life.
So I was like, nah, not interested.
And then in his wallet, he happened to have, if you see from my PFP, a little Afro Pudgee.
And I was like, oh my God, it's so cute.
someone shared earlier, you know, the cuteness
factor won me over. And so I was
like, okay, I bought it. So I bought it straight from him,
gave it to me, and then that was
history in motion, right?
And here I am, hosting an
X basis for Pekigo Asia, just
like literally one and a half years later.
So, you know, you never know, guys.
You never know. Change your PFP today, and one and a half years later. So, you know, you never know, guys. You never know. Change your PFP today and one and a half years later,
you might just be managing some incredible community
with Paji Penguins all over the world.
You know, we've got so many other new communities
and sub-communities coming up.
Did you know there's a Paji Africa?
There's, you know, Paji Bangladesh.
There's so many amazing things happening
and we've got so many events as well.
So just to recap, for those of you who joined in,
if you joined in a little bit late,
there's a huge Asian movement that's happening
because all the blockchain conferences are coming up, right?
So this week, some of the team, they're in Vietnam.
So those of you in Vietnam,
there's, I believe, a conviction happening
and so some Paji events there.
there's going to be a CoinFest in Bali.
We've got some stuff planned up there. And then after that, it's going to be, oh fest in bali we've got some stuff planned up there and then after that's going to be oh so many in my head oh yes yes after that's
going to be in webex tokyo so please come by and then someone mentioned singapore token yes that's
going to be a big one and in between i believe we've got even korean blockchain week as well so
huge huge huge events coming up in as. But what Paji and what Pengu
Asia is going to be doing? Well, if you want to know, there's only one way. You've got to join
our Telegram chat and you've got to follow our X page. So my last shout out for the night,
please go up to the Pengu Asia X, give us a follow. On the bio, you'll see the link to the
Telegram. Go and join the Telegram chat. you've joined in introduce yourself share with the whole of asia where you're from what do you do and let's get connected right
any builders in the space always welcome to dm us and let us know what you're building what you're
working on and we're going to build something really beautiful in asia right so again thank
you all to the speakers who came up and i'm so sorry if anybody uh wasn't able uh to join for
Hi, Chin. He had some issues, I think, earlier
but he's back. Maybe he wants to say a quick goodbye.
But yeah, so sorry if anybody else didn't get a chance
to speak. No worries. We're going to have this
on a regular basis, right? So Chin and
I, we're going to be hosting Pengu Asia
Spaces, you know, regularly.
So just, again, stay tuned to our X channel
I'm about to say goodbye but Loki raised his hand so I'm about to say goodbye, but Loki raised his hand.
So I'm going to give Loki, if Loki wants to say goodbye on our behalf, sure.
Oh, sorry. Sorry. I was late to the show. Thank you.
I just want to throw flowers to Ron and Kosta.
Okay, sorry. I got to give you a hard time for my Avengers intro.
Anyways, proceed, proceed.
Oh, thank you, you Loki that's so sweet
no I mean like you guys are doing an amazing job and I think it's this this kind of thing
with Pajuk Penguins already happened like showing how to do before anything else showing the playbook
so if you are like in the IP character business, you can't possibly fade Asia.
And we've seen like Clayno now with hiring David Orvats.
So yeah, guys, throwing you flowers.
Thank you for everything.
So it means so much from Lucky.
So yesterday, J-Bond and Cyr wrote a really nice tweet
about like the importance of Asia.
A lot of people say that Asia is strong, Asia's strength is there,
but no one really tapped into it, really, really focused on it
and putting resources into building Asia in the right way.
So when Luca and Pajie team was like,
Aaron and Foxy, would you guys like to build it?
we have like the corporation set up in Singapore.
We have like the whole corporation there as well.
So we take it like really seriously.
And we think that a lot of companies,
Web3 is going to follow suit,
just like how we file for ETF.
I think a lot of companies are going to have an Asia division.
Thank you, Foxy, for the alpha.
And thank you very much, Loki,
Every time people throw flowers at me,
they get stuck in my hair.
I know Chin came back a little bit.
He had to go out for a while,
Chin, you just want to say a quick goodbye
because he was my co-host as well.
So I want to give him a little chance to say goodbye if he wants to.
I had a pretty important call.
Dude, I'm just excited, Ross, for just Pengu Asia and stuff.
It's going to be an amazing time.
I'm actually currently in Hong Kong, in Asia.
I know in Hong Kong, there's going to be
an event going on too. I won't spoil any alpha, but it's going to be so many cool things happening.
So hopefully I get to see you. Loki, I hope I see you. I don't want to dance to your location,
but hopefully I get to see you at an in real life event at your city that you're in. So hopefully
Loki, we got to initiate you to the avengers you gotta we
gotta you gotta come to the avengers and we're gonna change that devil emoji to an angel emoji
one day but no no that's all that's all i got uh it's gonna be an amazing time and yeah we're
gonna have more of these amazing spaces uh all right yeah and stuff like that amazing thanks
again chin for being a co-host earlier. Really appreciate it. And before I forget, last thing, if anybody here, if you're in an Asian country and you're
interested to start up an event or a community meetup, a hangout, a casual stuff, I'm looking
We've had already almost 25 to 30 events already in Asia this year, across all of Asia,
across the different countries.
And so we're really proud
and all the work that they do.
I'm happy to help you get connected
And we really just want, again,
where everybody can feel like somebody.
And if we can achieve that,
honestly, we can change the world.
So thank you guys so much. Really appreciate your time. It's been one and a half hour live spaces exactly on
the dot. Really appreciate it. Thank you. Good night. God bless you all and have a great weekend
ahead. Keep building. Thank you. Got chili. the best don't forget to mention chilling with the blood you pay with no trouble in the house
