markets have been responding decently well too for anybody's been kind of looking at that we got
btc still holding around 67k eats still holding around 2057 bucks solana still around 78 dollars
hyperliquid still holding around the $30 range.
LiDAR is low-key kind of up today for anybody who's been kind of watching that. It looks like there was an announcement of them integrating fully with Telegram or partnering with Telegram.
For anybody who's been kind of looking at that too.
And then I think the big news of today was the TBbpn or tp whatever it's called has been
acquired by open ai which is kind of nuts to see where like these large uh social uh what is it
called it's like a streaming platform for finance uh being acquired by i don don't know, a fucking tech giant, like fucking open AI is actually kind of
nuts to even see. But yeah, we can tap into all of that in just a bit. Also, I don't think there's
been any announcements on what's been kind of going on with Drift Protocol. They've been giving
this step by step. Everybody's been talking about the step by step of how it was fucking done on the
timeline. But I have yet to see any solutions but yeah
we'll tap into all of that in just a bit what's good though gg how are you doing today i'm good
happy thursday yeah trump just stuck to the script and people are like expecting drama uh
so the one time he does stick to the script people are surprised which is kind of crazy
i know his timeline is like oh we're ending the
war it's winding down but we still have three weeks two to three weeks a lot can happen in that
time and also remember that there's that um congress hasn't stopped him at all but they could
invoke um there's something called like the war time something i I can't remember. I'll, I'll look it up, but, um, it expires like, or it's not expires, but at 60 days, like he has 60 days to kind of like, um,
timeline wise, make something happen. And then that also includes like a 30 day extraction
period, but, um, that might be related to his timeline, but yeah. yeah, I don't think anything was surprising, but people wanted more,
either one direction or the other. But in terms of bad checking the market, gold is down 2.4%.
It's about 46.70. So a little bit of retrace there, but oil, oil is just pumping. It's over 10% for WTI, which is more US
based. And that's over 110. And surprisingly, Brent is at 108, which is usually the inverse.
Usually Brent is higher, but if you look at their dated, Brent dated, which is more like their
physical or spot rather than their futures, it's over 140. So yeah,
there's definitely a big difference there. So oil is definitely pumping, which usually means
stocks are down. And yeah, stocks did take a big hit, but they're recovering a bit. Market
is showing some recovery, still in the red though. And don't forget market is close tomorrow for the
Easter holiday, but will reopen on Monday. And in terms of crypto, crypto is down about 2%.
I think it's a lot with soul, you know, feeling that exploit the pain of that. So it looks like it was, you know, socially engineered. It was the two out of the five
keys being exploited. This was like planned and timed out. There's people saying it was North
Korea again. I don't know. We'll see. But solution wise, I don't know what the solution is, but it
just feels crazy that they didn't have, um, you know, more than two multi
six signing. It seems like it's better than one, but it's not, it's not multi enough. So
that needs to be reevaluated. I think that could have probably helped, um, if they had
at least three, you know, um, cause that's less than half. So that's kind of crazy to see those numbers.
And no lock period, which is also another issue.
So I know everyone's kind of looking at all of the other DeFi protocols as well.

How many signers were on that multisig?
Yeah, it's five. So in two out of the five, as reported yesterday, they got exploited.
That is nuts. And for those who don't know how a multisig does work, you need multiple fucking people to approve before you, you need a majority to basically approve or decline or cancel a fucking transaction.

execute a transaction which is kind of nuts uh and them to be able to socially engineer a majority
or i don't know even figure out how to get access to any of those is absolutely diabolical especially
with how much money is kind of associated with drift in general yeah i mean most most multi-six are set up so that you have more than half like
for example like jupiter they have four out of seven and camino is actually 50 it's five out of
ten but both of those have a 12-hour time lock so um and most multi-six do have at least more than 50% multi-six signers. So
it's cut, it's really risky to only have two, like it's literally just one better than one,
you know? So yeah. And, and then the whole concept of, is it really decentralized if
you have multi-sig, you know, so that conversation is happening as well, but
it's a shakeup for sure. And it, um, it makes you wonder, is it safe to use DeFi questions,
um, security and things like that. But I think these things are necessary if exploits are
possible, whether they're socially engineered or code-based or whatever the situation is,
security is a huge, um, factor in whether or not people feel
like they want to use the protocol, but also crypto in general. So these are the headlines
that people get scared and shaken out by. Yeah. And I don't think it's going to change either.
It's like always the negative headlines that always catch traction, whether it's fucking
CoffeeZilla or like any of these like larger names who do report on crypto it's i don't know it's kind of nuts i i've thought up a solution to multi-sig style
just in the last like 10 seconds just give me the fucking private keys i will handle it i will make
sure nobody's fucking socially engineers jack shit or fuck i think that will be uh i don't know i think that'll work
yeah possibly um you should post that yeah you should sorry i had to like think about that for
a second good solution i'm glad you're thinking ahead yeah uh trying to figure that shit out but
i don't know yeah they can potentially i don potentially. The Drift Protocol fucking exploiter did pivot or like rotate all of his Solana into ETH too, which is kind of nuts.

And they chose not to do anything about it from
what i heard which i don't know w for decentralization and l for i don't know anybody
who who was affected by this fucking uh exploitation but i don't know i don't think anything's gonna
change uh maybe he does take the clean clean money uh as a white hat fucking
hacker takes that 20 and calls it a day but i it doesn't look like that's the reality of it it's
not like he's just holding it in one spot he's like rotating it around and making sure he's i
don't know doing a bunch of shit on chain to to make sure he's not caught up. So we wait. There has been a tweet floating around saying,
we know we have some information that might lead to who did it.
It looks like engagement form.
But otherwise, if it's North Korea, we're not ever seeing that money again.
The question now is, does Drift make their users whole?
And I don't think that's been discussed or uh addressed at all so
we'll see if that happens hopefully they do we've had much bigger um situations i mean this is a big
one but we've had bigger situations where people have been made hold so hopefully they do that
somehow why is that the first place everybody goes like why is north korea always to fucking
blame i don't think like i think they're a bit misunderstood like they get so much fucking shit
thrown at them where they're just like oh shit anytime there's like a large scale fucking
