Wednesday. What are we doing here? What's happening, everybody out there in space? Oh,
I'm in the Hexadai spot instead of the One Darlan spot. Maybe I'll move it. I don't know. I think
I'll keep it right here. We'll see what happens. So what's up, everybody? It is that day of the
week. We are at Wednesday, and there are a lot of updates in the tech world, not just in the tech world, but across everything, across all aspects.
You got the AI, you got the ARs, you got you even have let's talk about CRISPR for a second.
In gene editing for the first time in gene editing, there is a child had a had a disease.
there is a child had a had a disease they went in did some in vivo I believe is what they call it
when they inject it straight into the person versus and then there's ex vivo so ex vivo is
when they take your your DNA your chromes and they move them out into a petri dish and they
inject it with the the super infused virus that goes
and edits the genes and then they take that and they put it back into the human body or and this
time uh some might say just like the coronavirus stuff they inject it straight into the person
right and then it does all the editing from there so there are children now but there is a child now that did have the full gene editing
done and it worked from what I understand is still in the process we'll see as time developed right
there is a baby that they went ahead and did the in vivo for and and it is taken in his work so
the medical industry the tech industry all these things are are really starting
to get pretty interesting uh when we start side they've also had just in the last not so long ago
uh two people with the with the brain implants from elon musk they, oh, they're good on that part. That's okay. So they had, but the two
people with the gene, or not with the gene, brain implants, they now have played full Call of Duty
games. So why is that significant? When we talk about the monkey that played Pong, right? When
we're talking about the monkey that played P click pong that so realistically what's happening is
if you look at a controller or a hand controller there's really only one control happening right
they're moving it up and down uh even if they were to move it up down left and right it still
we'll call it one joystick right whereas call of duty or these types of games, they require the two joysticks plus triggers and
plus buttons. And so these two people with the neuro implants, not only were they able
to control the one joystick that makes them run, look back and forth, there's also the
other joystick that lets you look and move over your head. So they were controlling both
joysticks along with the triggers to make the the active the guns fire and change
their weapons and do those things and they were all doing it all with the neuro implants and that
is where these things get really impressive going beyond just like making one action at a time but
now uh multiple actions and so what they've done is they've actually been able to take that kind of thing and then now they have with the military the fighter
jets there is a jet now that the pilot operates eight separate drones while
flying the jet itself using a neuroband so a neuroband is So a neuroband is a type of neuroband where it goes outside the brain.
So now they can not only fly their plane, but they can individually operate each drone all
simultaneously and individually all at the same time. That involves a lot of brain function.
that that involves a lot of brain function uh to if i don't know that i can think in nine different
directions all at the same time but now they've given fighter pilots the or these pilots the
opportunity to do just that i think that's absolutely amazing that is the definition of
what uh when we think about an octopus,
and I think this is kind of funny.
when we, they actually have,
so they have their main brain
and then each leg that comes off of that body
actually has its own brain.
So, and in an individual way
that comes back to that central brain.
And I think that's pretty cool in and of itself itself and so when we start thinking about these fighter pilots and these drones uh i think that
could be one of the ways it operates where they have we'll call them individual brains so probably
ai or some sort of artificial intelligence i would assume that kind of keeps them or make recalls
them back at certain points you know keeps there. There's some checks and balances there.
And I feel like that might be the way an octopus, an octopus brain works, right?
They can each do their own things.
They can move independently.
But at the same time, all communication comes back to that central point.
Very fascinating to me how that works and how that plays out.
Very fascinating to me how that works and how that plays out.
Just the simple fact that there's drones and a pilot all flying around the world all simultaneously this way is super cool to me.
What else is the updates?
There's robots walking around the streets of Austin and making friends and making friends doing things there's boxing matches
china i believe it was china uh china or japan one of those two places they just had their first
robot soccer game three tournament so it was multiple different robots so it was three on
three multiple different teams uh this this is again changing the games right so the multiple teams out there they even had when
a robot would fall down or get crashed out right it would be pulled off on a stretcher that was
you know this doing its own thing I think that's pretty pretty fascinating again I like I think a
lot of things are fascinating but But the robot games are here.
They are here. The robot boxing matches are here.
What's that? Real Steel, I think is the name of the movie.
I could be wrong, but where they had the robot fighters and things like that.
Some of them are connected to people. Some of them are, you know, just all the different things.
So really, I'm ready for this. So really, I'm ready for this, you know,
I'm ready for this moment. Our lives are about to be drastically different. So when, with all
of these updates, right, like fighter pilots that can now, you know, control eight drones all at the
same time, or with who else, what else do we got out there? We got the yeah, just the gene editing, the brain boards and all those cool things.
So we start looking at all this and what's coming up for our actual future. Right.
You know, it's going to be it's going to be a little bit different, going to be a little bit different gonna be a little bit different so uh this is an open spot
open space if people have anything they want to say anything they want to share by all means you
can jump up do just that um you know we're just hanging out this is a what's up wednesday where
we just get together and talk about what's up what's happening what is going on all of the
what's we got one dar boy 2025 standing right here what's up my
guy how are we doing this is it you just gonna say hello okay cool he has nothing to say
about what's up there's nothing about what's up over here no i'm just kidding there's lots
in fact if you go and check out the wonder our boy 2025 channel right now you probably
won't see too much but if you go over there in the Wonder Our Boy 2025 channel right now, you probably won't see too much.
But if you go over there in the next coming weeks,
you're going to see some different videos from probably a Gorilla Tag game.
He's been going hard in the metaverse, right?
And going hard in the metaverse for the last couple of weeks
and letting people know that Wonder Our Boy 2025 is here, right? Probably tell everybody you play in the metaverse for the last couple weeks and letting people know that wonder boy 2025 is
here right probably tell everybody you play in the game so if you're ever inside of what's the
name gorilla tag if you're ever in gorilla tag and you come across somebody with a username
ready for this right is that the name in there what's the name in there it's w just w it's just the w so if you come across a
gorilla with the name w it might be me it might it might be wonder boy 2025 can you put whatever
name you want in there yeah okay how do people find you uh like how do they friend us they just
put in ready for this no they have to use the can join your friend while you're when they're in
when they're playing okay so so yeah so once they're in the game they can find you or if
they see you that's the only way they can't just like look for you no they can't how do you look
look for somebody oh but we don't want to use much we don't like this module
get you kicked out only in public lobbies can you use mods only in public lobbies don't use mods in private lobbies mod all you want probably
then you're not like making people mad you're not making people mad if you mod in a private
it's all fair fine because like because no one's like over there like, Dude!
Because everybody else is modding in the private.
So if you go into a private, good chance someone's modding.
You can also go in a modding lobby.
You can go in a modding lobby.
You can lobby mod. You can go in a lobby where it's a lobby where
you can use mods in a public lobby and you can report them but it won't won't do anything it
won't do anything yeah but when it's when you're not in a modding lobby then people wouldn't report you you could get it yeah yes so interesting for staying in a
modded lobby okay so here's another question for you what what games are actually worth playing on
the meta quest right now um because what what game do you play the most gorilla tag
it's the only fun game to you hi nathan hi honeycomb hi glitchcraft what's going on everybody
we're uh we're talking with one dar boy here one dar boy 2025 we're just talking about what's up
what's happening in the world right what's going on right now we're talking about what's up, what's happening in the world, right? What's going on.
Right now, we're talking about the meta-quests.
He's very into the Guerrilla Tag.
Now, Guerrilla Tag has multiple minigames.
That's one of the things you like about it, is that all the minigames.
You got baseball, because it's not just Tag, right?
No, you don't have baseball.
I thought there was a baseball game in there it's called girl a baseball oh that's a whole different game same creators different game
maybe not seeing creators okay just looks the same yeah it doesn't look the same
It doesn't look the same.
The gorillas are different.
So the quest games are cool, right?
Now, we started doing some things here in Tennessee.
It's called Guerrilla Company.
What do you do in that game?
It's, no, no, Guerrilla Company.
What is Guerrilla Company?
but it's that you go into like a,
it's like a scary game, kind of.
Because you have to fight off monsters, get to the end, and there's nothing.
We're looking for one of the games they might have made and things like that so you got gorilla tag uh that's a 200 player lobbies huh that's cool all right all right
200 players in one lobby that's what it says yes it says and flank it's designed as a vr
mmo with large 200 player lobbies.
You could have 200 people in a lobby.
Well, then they're liars.
We should call them out on it.
Be like, nah, you say 200, but I can't get more than 10.
You can, like, join any lobby if you have mods.
No, this is saying, like, like this says specifically it's designed with
large 200 player lobbies that's interesting but you're telling me that that that's not true that
they'll they'll max out at 10. i wonder if they do that they're like yeah we can have up to 200 people
but then they mod it but then they set it to 10 so that runs smooth maybe kind of like
fortnite it's like fortnite could have everybody in one lobby but but they need a certain amount
but they but they they shrink it down so that not everybody gets yeah i got you i got you
all right so what other games they did not make that huh they did not make that no that's not a tag that is a gorilla tag fan game
this is how to make a gorilla tag fan game so you could make your own game yeah all right so
speaking about making games right so that's gorilla company that's gorilla company that's
gorilla company that one right there okay because it's a fan game no not yeah it's not based off a real
time that one was getting made while my gorilla tag was almost made so gorilla company was getting
made while gorilla tag was being released. Okay. So I got another question for you. Since we're on the meta quest stuff, right?
You have the three S, which is the, yes, we have the, no, we have the three S.
Because the three has just the three lines in the front.
Well, let's go meta quest three S. I'll just show you. See? Dot.
Bing-a-ding. Yep. And then that's the three. Where's the three lines? Boom, boom, boom, boom.
That's how you visually tell the difference.
We have the Batman one, but we can't get that back.
It's the xbox one there's the answer and that's
what i was about to ask you because you were talking about the controllers are different
okay and you were saying that there's so this comes with an x controller. And so when you're, and the comfort is different, but I don't, I think it's still just the 3S.
Yes, just with, with the different controller options, right?
So it is a 3S kind of, but except it has better quality.
And using that controller, you can like just go like this.
Like you can have the thing on and and you can be playing all Xbox games.
Okay, so because these controllers are different.
The strap is different, too.
Yeah, because now it's got the adjustable backside there.
Is that an extra battery on the back of it, maybe?
Yeah, it's got, it comes with the extra stuff.
So if I was going to get a new MetaQuest or a 3S, the Xbox one's not a terrible option here, huh?
Yeah, that was the same price we got that one for.
It's the same price, right?
Now, the difference is the lenses between the 3s and the three the three has the better lenses
right true like the vision like it's night and day differences so like when you're on the 3s it's
like ah that's cool you really don't like i mean you don't really think about it until you go put
on the three and you're like wow that's what that's what clear looks like yeah that's what clear looks
like shoulder qualities and the tracking on the two on the controllers add a ring around it so i
had better tracking okay but now it doesn't have tracking on the two things and whatever
things yeah the sensors so it's worse tracking yep it's worse it's even worse tracking all
right so we're gonna move on a little bit we talked about the quest the meta the things like that
right you can so the the scanning we had Nathan in in here for a minute uh and i really wish he kind of would have
stayed when we talk about the 3d wait a minute when we talk about the 3d scanning and stuff
let's tell let's go ahead and tell them about should we tell them about the museum
or wait we'll wait for the museums all right so we'll let's tell you about the museums and things
and and we'll and the walls and things like that we'll wait we'll wait until we actually have some
some time and then we'll get into it but yeah yeah yeah yeah so today coming up here in about
30 minutes is illis illis holds a space that will be rebroadcasted around the world here.
So tap in with the Illus,
and pay attention because here, like I said,
or a little over 30 minutes,
all those beautiful things
and how they do it so if you
want to know more about how you can do it tap in on that channel coming up in about 30 minutes over
there with the wonderland with illest and everybody else is going to be a blast uh we're going to be
moving on down um into this summer we're really into this later summer um and when i say moving on
down we're gonna move moving around doing doing a lot of different things coming up this year
by different i mean hopefully we're gonna get more people hands on the ground right and and
just having some things coming up getting more physical
less digital but at the same time bringing all that physical into the digital the the next boom
the next craze the next thing that's about to hit the waves right uh are are but i don't know how to say these things to that without without saying things right um
so so there there's just a lot coming out okay where there's the new digital frontier is finally
really taking hold here in the us of a the old sweet us of a real world assets hitting the marketplace you got stocks going
into the crypto blockchain space officially you got banks and everybody out rolling out mortgages
on top of bitcoin okay so you can leverage your stuff there if you want to uh there's just all
there's all of these uh all the different things that are coming into play
it's gonna be kind of funky right there's gonna be a lot of new tokens that come out
okay so be aware right of what's going on you got different uh
brand policies i know that we all saw what happened last year and the year before where
we had all these celebrities come in and then they got took. Okay. A lot of them didn't know
what was going on. They got took by teams of people. So I think we could all be much better
stewards and call out people like Mario Knopfal and their whole round table of people that
take these small projects or take up and coming projects, say, yeah, we're going to give you a
little boost. And then they rug those projects and tell the projects now go build up. We gave you,
you know, this is, and they'll use it under the guise of, well, we're just taking our payment
for, you know, giving you the promotion thing like
that. And now you've got this, this unexistent pool, go fill it back up and it can be yours
kind of thing. So I think we should do better about making sure that these type of organizations
and programs don't get to just last forever, right? Because taking advantage of those small groups
is not okay. Taking advantage of people that are trying to make a difference and do things
and then rugging them and letting it just, and it's just not okay. So I think we can do better.
There were other groups along that line, like Exclusible and those groups over there that, yeah, they did come in and they rugged so many people over the years.
They promised things like space exploration and rocket trips that they never came through on.
And yet no one ever called them out on anything.
And yet no one ever called them out on anything.
There's other projects, much bigger projects that also did the same types of things.
And I think this time we need to be better.
What does that mean to be better?
Well, how do you call out these bad actors, especially when they are the largest?
It's like, you know, we can sit here and talk about Google taking advantage of all
these people all day long, but then we still go and we buy all these products from Google and we
still support them. So in this same type of way, we can start to change things. We've done it with
Target. We've done it with Walmart. McDonald's is feeling the impact of people boycotting them right now.
And it's not that hard to say, no, this is wrong. And we don't like that anymore.
We want to do things differently. Right. It's really not that hard. We just make that choice.
We say, no, we're not going to put up with it anymore. But at the same time.
Be aware of what product you're purchasing. OK, be aware of what product you're purchasing okay be aware of what products you're buying
that same exclusivo group okay last time they they had some big brands right they had like
porsche come in drop a drop a digital car thing that that people bought um and so you you get
these groups and yeah sure here's porsche But then what did people actually get out of that?
What did they actually get out of that? Absolutely nothing. And I feel with these real world assets, we're going to have a lot of that same type of thing happening where you're going to say,
especially in the scammer side of things, you're going to say, here, here's this new home.
And then you don't have a home or maybe it's you know there's just going to be a lot of
different things coming out I'm a little bit worried about how that's going to work out for
the the overall world audience you know so you take elderly people or you take people that were
just let's use the word ignorant and there's nothing wrong with being ignorant I'm ignorant
in a lot of ways there's things that I don't know and i don't understand i might be ignorant in this
conversation right now okay but there's going to be a lot of ignorance and a lot of ignorant people
running around um and we need to be good for them okay And not take advantage of the ignorance.
Do not be the street thieves that are just good business people hustling.
You don't have to be that way.
And by right, I don't just mean in your thinking.
I mean, right in your actions.
What's up, Idris, one of the Bitcoin kings from up north, my friend.
How are we doing this morning?
In Bitcoin, we love bitcoin uh bitcoin's on on one of those moves there's been lots of talks we got
a quantum computer okay and and then some of those more heavy scientific computers that people are
saying is going to break the algorithm uh i don't know how that really happens i mean other than
just those people get the Bitcoin first, right?
But they're saying they're going to break the algorithm, do those types of things.
If and when, because it will, it will happen.
There's a goal there, right?
There are people where their goal is to break the algorithm.
It makes us make things better.
So eventually there will be those other tokens and those other healthy, right? It makes us make things better. So eventually there will be those other
tokens and those other things, right? We're all going to end up having our own social token.
There will be a Honeycomb Hydro social token if that is their real name, right? But there will be
one of those tokens. This will be their social token. of how it will go up and down in value on what
they eat what they drink what they wear where they walk how they walk what they drive where they drive
all of those things there's going to start coming into play those places where you just can't travel
to that area because you don't have that whatever okay and then because it's all digital they can
easily keep you out a lot easier than they could
when everything was on paper right so the whole concept of this decentralized things is kind of
pushing things towards that more centralized notion and we're all begging for it we're all
asking for it we're all wanting it especially when we start to add things like the neurobands
and all this stuff we've already seen it with the orb and the world token. Now you've got near with the people AI
or the person AI, whatever they call that. But you've got all these different tokens and things
coming out where you're going to verify your identity. I am real. I am not AI. And the moment
that happens, you're done. You've lost all control of yourself. You thought
you lost control of yourself when you found out all your email passwords and everything else were
exposed to the public. You thought you lost yourself when you found out that your social
security number and all of your information is already public. You thought you lost yourself
when they started taxing you on everything in your life and you
realized you don't own any of it, including your home and land. And the fact that they can just
come and take it from you just because they want to, and they'll just call it whatever,
dominant domain, you know, or whatever it is. So the, but now as we go and sell the rest of ourselves and we're doing it for free, we're giving it to them.
We're begging them to have it. So as all of this comes into play, we are just giving our lives away.
So understand that all this decentralized notions, right of we're going to own all of
ourselves we're going to own all of our own data we're going to own all of this
currently at the rate and the thing way things are going you aren't going to own any of it you
will be owned and you now are the product if you're getting money by walking you are the product they
sold you they're selling that data back
to the companies to say, hey, these people walk into these stores. They stood in front of this
product for this long. All of that, that's half of a half of a half of a penny, that hundredth
of a penny that you're getting for taking those thousands of steps. They are making hundreds of dollars selling that data back. All of this data stuff,
all this blockchain stuff, all of those things that you're quote unquote making money for right
now is not you. That is theirs. They have been profiting off of you this entire time.
So going back to my first things, it's up to us to be smart to be diligent to understand that yeah
our lives are gone we are all officially slaves we do live in a simulation and that simulation
was begged for and bought by you right um that's so so what's up this one day i'm not much we're just talking about
how our lives have been bought by the government um and we begged for it so that said all that
said i i'm gonna rant i'm gonna just ramble on uh for for the rest of however long like i said
we do have coming up in about 30 minutes or so there is illest and ellen designs
with their with their whole thing right and how and what they're doing to support and and you know
make the world a more beautiful place so the things that i said it kind of sounds scary now
where it's like oh my life's already over yeah your life's already over you don't own shit they have it all you just get to live in it
uh um so all those scary things i think don't sound so scary anymore when lm designs and rob
and illis and everybody start making it a more beautiful place right you have people like two
percent that make it not so scary that are helping helping people learn, hey, yeah, you could lose, but if
you follow 2%, you might just have some wins, right? They've been making these videos letting
you know about these different digital currencies. What is a digital currency? How does it work?
What's going to be the difference between the bank's digital currency and your digital
currency, right? And why does it matter? Why does it matter that the state of Texas just okayed it
for, why does it matter that the state of Texas just okayed for gold and silver and precious
metals to be used as exchange in stores as legal tenor why does why do these things start to matter
why does it matter that bitcoin is going up 105 today or going down 105 tomorrow why does it
matter that soul or either what arbitrarium blockchain these people are building on if you
follow two percent you'll know why that's all i'm going to say follow two percent you'll know why that's all i'm gonna say all two percent you'll start to learn all the questions
about all the why what's up sean good stinking morning to you as well how's life been up there
the i'll go ahead and give a quick little web three metal shout out to sean okay so for those
of you listening tuning in if you've never tuned in to the web three metal show you're kind of
missing out it's one of the heaviest shows around, right?
They've been making moves for the past few years and not in a way where it's like, oh,
hey, I just want to get into this because I'm trying to get some people to give me their
money and growth hack and just rug pull them like those Mario Narcal people.
He's saying, hey, look, there's people now sean's over here he's saying hey look
there's bands there's music there's a whole bunch of people they just want their stuff heard right
they just want their stuff heard so over on the avax you found some people over at avax and were
like hey we agree with you there's just people they just they just want to live their life they're not
trying to get sold or rugged or or do this whole thing and make this
whole big boom they just want to be heard so sean said i got you so sean started typing stuff up on
paper he started getting out there and donating his own stinking time to support the music and
the scene that wanted to be heard so thank you sean for doing that and picking up because there
wasn't a lot of web3 metal there's still not a lot of web 3 metal
um and and i know that now we're past maybe using the term web 3 or crypto or blockchain project now we're just metal we're just projects we're just this which is really nice to hear really nice to
have just stuff back right because i've been waiting to buy just a house but right now we're at the
point of we're gonna buy a blockchain based house we're gonna borrow an rwa house we're gonna buy a
uh we're gonna buy the first crypto house on chain in texas blah blah blah blah whatever
right and so we still got to get through some of those things but i'm glad that sean already got
that out of the way for the music of metal scene so that we can.
We can just listen to metal and it just happens to be on chain.
OK, it's just like that. We're not listening to on chain music.
We're just listening to music again. And I'm so glad we're just listening to music again.
Yeah, that's it. So thank you, Sean, for helping us just listen to music.
Right. What's up's up joe my my
my frame from another from another mother because that's how friends work right uh so what's up john
john i think there we go what's up sean welcome to the stage how are we doing this morning oh no you
left we're not no i'm here i'm here oh that's wild you're a listener oh wow can you hear me
though okay i can hear you yeah so that's cool all right what's up well yeah that's good man
nice to see you and talk to you it's been a few weeks um yeah we're out here grinding like you
said uh you know just building um you know we've got the cyber metal radio um we've got like some cool uh community members
that have built coded that up and so we're working on that and some other coding projects
and just trying to overall yeah like you said support heavy music and web 3 and it's been
really cool to kind of get into you know the avax job and kind of meet builders that really have
good visions and we're doing wave wars which is like wave battles on Solana.
There's listen and even, which are like direct to fan applications that are getting dropped on avalanche soon as L1.
So yeah, the music, like overall direct fan and music ecosystem on avalanche is definitely growing some stuff coming out already like i said
but then behind the you know the scenes there is a lot of cool stuff being built you know uh talking
a lot to like the zowdow guys and all them so like lots of cool stuff cooking up so yeah i appreciate
and always appreciate all your support so yo that's your thoughts like that is that you're always doing so much though like
when do you that's an issue that's a problem no i do i have so many ideas you know add guy i'm
writing stuff down all the time and then once i started like vibe coding and then getting into
like actual coding communities that's just a whole nother set of ideas that
that pops off right so that's got i've got the music ideas and song ideas and then i've got like
the building ideas so it is really good to have you know community members that are willing to
take the reins and build stuff and not have me because for a long time i was like oh web through
metal right like bringing people together celebrating music but like there was nothing
being built and so i felt the pressure
to kind of keep things fresh but now that we got community members that are passionate and they're
kind of building stuff and they're holding weekly you know the cyber metal countdown is every week
just trying to stream that more and planning like end of the year stuff and yeah slowly working it
in yeah we're not trying to get bags we're not trying to get people bags we're trying to just
figure out how we can all celebrate and appreciate metal more through this new technology so
and just like that the mic drops i think i put up in the in the top here okay one there should be
like one of those little slide over things where it's got your the new AVEX developers hub right okay so yeah we can
go check that out if they want to they want to get into these types of things right because you're
you're not just the music are you not anymore man yeah no now we're full on in we got ties to like
you know we're talking to business development about every week giving them cool and big leads
uh there's a code-based competition out right now which gives support to projects that are looking
to build and grow on avalanche so that's something that we're sharing right now with projects that
are looking for support um and yeah you know things are things are cooking where you never
know where you know the end of the year is going to lead but it's going in the right direction so that's you know that's what's most important hey guys should be a good christmas this year for anybody that's
really building and developing inside of this space um you know i mean we're on track anyways
everything's on track to be to be successful you know just it just depends on how and where you want to start
looking at things right but yeah no it's the if we're anybody inside this space this could be
this could be a good good christmas so really really good time we are going to start moving
uh from here over the next couple minutes because i'm going to start getting set up over to be in
the rob and illis spot over there i'm going to hear lm and rob make sure that all of us get to
get a drink of water before we go over there but if you've never heard of illis you don't know who
illis is and you don't know what they do they are an ar platform an augmented reality platform for
developers for people that want to publish things anywhere in the world,
right? And you can do it as a white label project. If you're interested, you want to go up there,
you want to have your own name. You don't even want to stay illish. You just want to do your
own thing. That is an option. That is an opportunity. You want to have your own little
map of the world that people search around on and do those types of things. You can have your own.
world that people search around on and do those types of things.
You can do just that through their platform.
They are powered by Eighth Wall, right, which used to be Niantic, which used to be Niantic.
Now it's like Niantic Spatial.
Niantic has done a whole lot of different things that really diversified their divisions.
And I'm really glad to see them continue to move.
I feel like it's really just NVIDIA.
And they're calling, you know, I don't know.
You can say what you want to.
But all the different divisions that they've broken down into.
And here most recently, they're highly focused on the AI side of things,
especially inside the data and that kind of area. So they're highly focused on the AI side of things, especially inside the data and that kind of area.
So they're really focused on that.
They just got rid of the Scanniverse side.
They let that go along with their Pokemon Go and their gaming division.
So they've sold those things off.
Illus, again, is powered by the same project know by that by that same project platform however you
want to look at it okay uh so that said go check them out there it's going to be coming on in about
15 minutes or so and we'll go listen to that i'm going to go fill up my copy probably go to the
bathroom before i hop over there and then i will what we got we got here? We got a 2%. Hey, Hexaz, how many times have you gone live
on TikTok? Never. I've never gone live on TikTok. Wait, no, that's a lie. I did used to go live
on TikTok. I haven't used TikTok probably since Christmas or so. Maybe it was around the time that they started to do the whole they
were gonna ban it and then they didn't ban it and then it did get i don't know it's around that time
i was like meh i'm just not interested um it kind of kind of like it was the same thing with facebook
there's you know i just got to that point where i was like meh just you think with tick tock is like
you get good numbers but though it's the problem that i
feel like it's always been the problem and there's no no way to convert like people that see you
there aren't going to go to your website they're not going to go to x to check you out like it's
hard to convert those people to real fans so it's interesting but yeah i have seen people catch
good numbers um so it's interesting like a buy now if you have a buy now button on tiktok i feel
like that like i feel like that's funny because it's like it's like the home shopping network but
with multiple channels dude and so the sherry protocol just released and they're built on
avalanche and their thing is doing that so like yeah like having a buy now button on your twitch
stream or that sort of thing like that's what their their um their use case is so it's kind
of cool yeah yeah exactly right down that road and that that is the way that and that's just one
of the hardest things about being a real project uh or trying to do you know anything real with businesses
or anything like that now um i feel like a lot of them are just looking for that uh social
fluencer just so like and so we're used to a company would hire you to like work on the floor
to fold t-shirts and stuff now they're hiring you to fold t-shirts live as people see it like it's you know
that's that's the dig that's the gig now yeah um yeah i wish i had a super go ahead i was gonna
say no i like that that's totally true because i've been thinking like because i'm just a
contractor at avalanche so i'm always thinking about how i position myself after this if i don't
get absorbed into avalanche
and i think that's what it is it really is it's like the it's more than just a kol or a reply guy
it's kind of uh the greater sum of all its parts you know it's i feel like there are certain people
that kind of fit that oh hush oh yeah no 100 and i'm not knocking it at all i just can't do it like i'm
just i'm just not good at it like if i could if i had the face and and the presence that people
were like oh man i could watch him fold t-shirts for hours um then i would i would fold t-shirts
all day long some of those people like they they actually make
some money now granted when they're doing it from what i understand you're not streaming to one place
um only right maybe you have like multiples and that's where you start to get into the where
you'll have like three or four people in the same room, all live separate, but they're together. Okay. But, you know, so,
and then you'll have, because what ends up happening is the algorithm,
the TikTok algorithm is actually going to start showing you like,
so if you, if 2%, Sean, Wonderland, Idris, and myself are all in the same room,
we're all separate, we're all in our own lives. Okay. then what will happen is when people come across one of us okay it'll automatically right
when people scroll to the next one kind of thing it might put in one other person or one of the
group but then it's going to come right back to one of us in our group okay and it'll do that until
they show everybody that was in our group but once they
find one of us in that room they'll end up seeing all of us so and that that's kind of the way some
of those it's a team thing it's a it's definitely a pre-planned calculated organized you know
production okay you might say uh but there are ways to do it that you really can
if you do it you know well that's conversion to like other people following you and that is
definitely what they've been i've been asked to like i haven't been able to find the time to do
it but yeah like a group of guys like three or four of them streaming on tiktok in a group chat
so that is i guess they're kind of like, that's, yeah,
that's what they're on. But, uh,
I still feel like it's hard to get people to stop scrolling,
scrolling and leave Tik TOK. You know what I mean?
So it's one thing to go someplace on Tik TOK,
but to kind of get them away from it, uh, if that's all they use,
that that's the more difficult part,
but I'm sure they're working at new tools and stuff like that like you said and you know some kind of button or just allowing
for links any of that that can kind of that kind of stuff can help because obviously you can like
lead people's attention to that but yeah yep 100 100 all right so i am going to now we're
i'm gonna we're gonna close this space down here.
Sean, thank you for coming up, hanging out. This was a wonderful.
What's up Wednesday? My favorite part about the what's up is that I have is there's no real direction for these.
I like usually I used to open this up just to hear from other people, you know, what's going on, right?
What's that? What did I miss? Right. What's happening?
So I really like to I think this summer might be a good opportunity to kind of bring that back and not have direction.
Let's just hang out. It's Wednesday morning before we get into too many things and just hang out.
So thank you all for hanging out with me. Sean, I'll see you around. 2%,
I know you're always around. And Idris, one of these days we're going to have to actually connect
in the real world. One Darland, you know how wonderful you are. Thank you everybody else
that did show up. Nathan, we like Beat Saber too, right? Beat Saber is probably one of our favorites
and concerts in the metaverse. you just can't go wrong.
We love the concerts in the metaverse.
It's been our thing for a minute now, right?
So we'll see y'all out there.
Catch you in the metaverse.
Spatial today, Super Wednesday with, what's his name?
So catch that if you're in the metaverse.
Gonna go check out Rob and Illest with LM LM designs right now in the next 10 minutes. We'll see you there.
