know tag some friends if you're listening to the recording i appreciate you we're going to keep
I'm gonna tell you a little bit about the stories of the origin of DeFi space donkeys and tricky Buddha
So where does this all come from? Where did it start?
Everyone's always called me tricky. I'm always trying to find the little tricks in order to make life easier
You know whenever you're doing something
I'll be that guy spontaneously be like there's a trick to that or you'll just naturally say after you know
After hanging out with me for a little bit, hey, you're tricky.
So everyone called me tricky.
And on the PlayStation Network, my brother was Green Buddha
because he smokes a lot of weed.
And I was like, well, I also do.
So it makes sense to take the Buddha last name
when I made my name on PlayStation Network.
So Tricky Buddha just seemed natural.
I was playing a lot of video games, ranked 42 in
the world for zombies. I got paid to play some games in middle school and I was playing pretty
hard. I was, I was getting better. And the better you are at Call of Duty, the more you get cussed
out because those people get kind of crazy. So, so one day, you know, I decided that I was going to change things around and I
was going to be positive. I was going to have a joke loaded in my mind. And whenever someone
was getting negative or the microphone goes live, I'll just blurt out a joke,
see if I can get my team to laugh. And I was. I was doing it. Everyone was enjoying themselves.
And our anxiety was kind of melting away, especially mine anyway. But we all played better.
So I kept on doing this, saying jokes and everything.
And at the same time, I was starting to help advise people in the area of Web3.
So I knew someone who wanted to make some art NFTs and just shill them, just sell them to make some money.
I didn't know anything about it, but I went deep dive.
I figured all there was to it, and I started designing the collection.
There were no donkeys at the time, so I picked donkeys.
Donkeys, so yeah, we were the first donkeys on the blockchain.
And I picked donkeys to go on Polygon, which at the time was kind of unknown.
But I put it on there, and I forged ahead ahead one day when I was playing Call of Duty
I got killed and instead of blurting out a joke. I just said
And that was when my intro was born. My team laughed. It seemed absurd
I kind of giggled. It was all smiles. So it did the effect of
You know getting that positivity across it just it was a little bit goofy
But I'm all for being a little goofy and not taking things too seriously especially after all my health issues and stuff
so uh yeah uh we we looked around and donkeys were the only ones that hadn't been done
and we were going to go with uh space donkeys but if you look at urban dictionary a space donkey is
someone who won't get off drugs so i I figured, okay, maybe I should do something else, you know,
like the Chevy Nova translates to no-go in another language.
You have to always Google your name before you pick it for finals and lock it down.
So I added DeFi because we love crypto and NFTs.
So a DeFi space donkey is someone who loves crypto and NFTs. And it's also a club. We
have an NFT that gives you a membership and it gives you a consultation with me or an hour of
personal advising. And that's the story of the DeFi space donkeys club. Now that intro, me yelling
DeFi space donkeys is part of everything I do. Before I start to give a speech, I kind of,
you know, break the ice with a little bit of humor.
And it makes me giggle still.
It makes everybody else giggle.
It's going on like, what, five years now?
So I had to stick with it.
You know, that's my mental reset.
Now you know where DeFi Space Donkeys came from
and how Tricky Buddha kind of fits into that.
I immediately CTOed the DeFi Space Donkeys
when this person did not want to pay their bill. So I figured, well, instead of just letting this
art collection go to waste, I'll add myself as the utility and there we go. Push forward.
I've loved the journey and I've been telling people about the positivity trick how to change your mind rewire it with positivity
so getting that message across was was big and
Doing that at the same time as the DeFi space donkeys club was really clutch because I didn't have any social media experience before that
I had 200 followers on Facebook if that so I just jumped headfirst into social media
if that so I just jumped headfirst into social media NFTs as a founder and
really it just helped me get a better understanding for things too I was I was
always really curious about you know different things so when blockchain came
through I started learning about that but I faded it until 2016 when it
started getting a little bit more secure so then I felt like it was safe to go into, or safer, anyway.
And, yeah, it took me until 2021
to really figure it out that I wanted to do this
and attach it to different businesses and stuff.
So I figured I was a proof case,
you know, a case study to see if it works
And I think everyone's going to be web-free compatible.
I think that's what we're leaning to in the future.
in the beginning of these.
Normally it's Monday, Wednesday,
but I figure I pop one open
we don't got lots to do today
and I need to make up for it.
So I'm going to tag some people
down here in the comments.
Probably play some music as well.
Say DJ, we're almost in here.
Here's a mix for you on Amazon Music.
