Thank you. you I Oh, I'm looking through a blurry magazine. There's my whole angel on the pages in between.
My blood runs cold.
My memory has just been sold.
My angel is a centerfold.
My angel is a centerfold.
My blood runs cold.
My memory has just been sold.
My angel is a centerfold.
Skipping up under the desk. While I was thinking about her chest. Oh, yeah. Close eyes, close eyes, close eyes, close eyes, close eyes, where the, now I'm gonna touch.
You see your hands, now that you're dead, you're just too much.
My blood blood cold, and my memory has just been sold.
My angel is a cell phone, angel is a cell phone.
My blood blood cold, and my memory has just been sold.
Angel is a cell phone. Oh, my God. We'll be right back. My party is just a bit ripped, and the pages from a mind, I'm screaming, oh no, I can't die, oh yeah, I guess I gotta buy it, my bloodline, oh, my memory has just been sold, my angel and the cell phone, my bloodline, oh, my memory has just been sold, my angel and the cell phone, my bloodline, oh, my memory has just been sold, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel and the cell phone, my angel is simple. All right.
All right.
All right. Oh, my God. Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah!
And you're just a sample!
Sunday morning, man, she woke up fighting mad.
Bitch, in the morning, I went home about the time I had.
And by Tuesday, you could say that girl was good as gone.
Then when Thursday came around, I was all alone.
So I went for the drive to clear my mind.
It ended up at a sale on I-65.
Then I won a hundred bucks on his crack?
Don't take it all, turn 12 packs and a tank of gas with him.
He swore they were a waste of time, oh, but she was wrong.
I want his collar number 5 on the radio station,
want a 4839 Beach Vacation.
D.C. Sayorita Fission down in Panama.
And I ain't got to see my ex-future mother-in-law anymore.
Oh, Lord, when it rains and pours. And apologize.
When she heard about my newfound luck on that if and I.
And it's crazy.
And lately now it just seems to come in ways
What I thought was gonna be the death of me was my saving grace
It's got me thinking that early man is the only logical reason
That I got the last part in the Hoonies parking lot.
And the waitress left her number on my check with a heart.
She picked up on the first ring when I gave her a call.
And I was spent five bucks at the Moose Club Raffle, one of his four winner and three free passes.
For me and two of my buddies to play around a golf.
And I ain't got to see my ex-future mother-in-law anymore.
Oh Lord, when you're at 80%!
When you're at 80% When you're at 80%
I've been on one hell of a redneck road for three weeks now
It all started on the day that she walked out
that she walked out.
And I won a hundred bucks
on a scratch-off ticket
bought two, 12-packs
and a tank of gas with it.
She swore they were a waste of time
but she was wrong.
And I was probably under five
on the radio station
on a four-day On a 4839 beach vacation
DC Senior Division down in Panama
I ain't gotta save my age future
But I ain't gonna know
Oh, oh, running right into the world.
We're running right into the world.
I feel like I'm really coming into my own with the country music.
Also, it's Thursday, so you know what I'm in the mood for?
I'm feeling good.
I'm feeling... I'm actually feeling so good.
Wait, Bill, are you there?
Yo, what's up? Yeah. up yes dude dude i am so happy
like ethereum going up along with like like they literally are just like um hey um maybe l2s were
kind of a mistake um like we're to start really scaling the L1.
Immediately, it's like numbers going up and the vibes are back.
And it's like, man, I mean, it's so funny because there's literally this guy, Max Resnick,
who, for those that don't know, he was he he like worked on ethereum for a couple years
and then he basically was just like crashed out super hard like six months ago just being like
guys like everything you're doing is like fucking stupid like all these l2s like what are you doing
like literally just you need to just scale the l1 you need to scale the l1 and basically got like uh
ridiculed uh chewed up and torn and thrown away out of the ethereum community and now is
basically at solana working on one of their clients or whatever um and then i don't know
what is it a week two weeks ago you have ago, you have Vitalik start basically publishes this blog that is just like, hey, this is the new priority of Ethereum.
It's not a pivot, it is a pivot, and it's just like, yeah, scale the L1, make the L1 better.
Which is the same exact thing that Max Resnick had been saying for so long that all of Ethereum hated him for.
like Max Resnick had been saying for so long that all the theorem hated him
I feel like I'm a pretty,
have been pretty anti L2s on the timeline for a while,
which I literally get in trouble for,
but then it's like,
Well now the tallics does the same thing.
maybe it's not that I'm just,
aggressive and,
like a fighter.
It's just me,
maybe we're just right. And, and all of a sudden it's just maybe maybe maybe we're just right and and all of a sudden it's just
like vitalik is just like hey new eth plan scale the l1 and then suddenly numbers going up and so
now it's just like ethereum actually has a narrative right it's like if if the number just
keeps going up and people just keep saying scale the L1, it's like that is actually like a narrative that people can buy into and believe in.
And then if Ethereum goes up, the rest of the market can go up.
And it's just like it's happening at the exact same time of like the stock market going up.
And like, you know, like now all of a sudden Trump is this like announcement merchant.
Like he's just like, oh, new trade deal coming tomorrow.
Get ready.
Buy today.
Sell tomorrow.
Like it's just like it's just kind of like right now seems like the most opportune time for crypto and markets in a very long time.
And maybe like, I mean, you mean, there's been this like,
you know, Bitcoin going down, stock uncertainty, et cetera.
But my favorite part about all of this,
just to bring it back, is that fundamentally,
it seems to me that the prevailing narrative
of the next probably one to two years in all of crypto
is just going to be scale the L1, make L1s better,
make L1s faster, etc. And how convenient, you know what I mean, Mr. Mondays, just you just love to
see it. You know, it's you just kind of you do your own thing and everyone catches up. And, you
know, here we are today. And it's just a great day. It's a Thursday. The weather's getting better.
It's warmer outside
let's get into country music you know vibes are vibes are just high like i just i feel i feel good
you know it's also like a relative thing like when you just feel kind of like down and like a little
uncertain for a long time and then suddenly you know things feel good you know you even though
you're only really feeling like an 8 out of 10, it feels like a 12 out of 10.
It just feels like a 12.
So I'm feeling like a 12 right now.
I'm sure I'll feel like an 11 and then a 10,
and then eventually we'll get down to 8.
But I'm having a good day.
I'm having a good day.
All of those people that ratioed you, proved you wrong,
made a fool of you on the timeline, and it turns out you're right.
That's crazy.
They're quaking in their booties right now.
Dude, it's crazy they're quaking in their booties right now because it was right like basically i mean i mean dude like that took the words right out of my mouth well you did say it too dude you could call me a disruptor a thought leader dude vitalik 2.0
in the live and flesh let's go
country music is hilarious
though by the way just like random side
but especially on spaces
because you can't really hear it and it's just like
you can't hear it
you can hear enough of it
but then it's like because all you'll hear is like
meh meh somebody's in a
baseball game
it's like you just catch the last bit of the verses and it's like oh hell yeah buddies in a
baseball game the songs they're so good you know what it actually is it's that um i feel like
here's here's actual alpha um just to break down why I love country music so much, is because I think if you were to rewind 15 years, call it like 15, 20 years, say it's like 2008, it's like you got just like prime music, you got like your Drake and like whatever, like radio is good.
And then you have also have country, but it's kind of in its own little pocket um the lyrics of the good songs
back then were actually pretty good you know what i mean like the rappers and the songs like it was
kind of like the songs had meaning and then that itself was such a contrast to country back then
where like the country songs were just like and i'm in my truck and I'm on a dirt road. You know what I mean? But then now I feel like country just never went up to meet like the other songs.
I feel like all the other songs just came down to country's level.
Like you listen to rap songs today and they're just like mumble rapping or whatever.
So people have just completely given up on any sort of like lyrics or storytelling in music.
And so now you can kind of like you don't get to say oh well country songs
are about like stupid bullshit because basically like that's what all the music's about now
anyways so now it's just kind of vibes and yeah i mean dude i kind of just like love the vibes i
don't i don't know there's there's something about it like um i was into like uh like kygo
rufus's soul that kind of music for so long like probably like 10 years
plus maybe even longer um and now i'm just kind of becoming a bit of a country boy you know so um
yeah it's it's it's nice man i we did i want i want to hang out with you um and we just sit on
a beach and we just listen to country music all day and drink some beers maybe go on a boat
something like that i feel like that would be that'd be a great day a great uh that'd be a great
day it's so much more in touch i don't i can't i can't like i don't associate
with rap and you know it's like selling drugs whatever driving off the weapon so i don't really
do that that much but then country's just like you know eating peanuts on a on a beat
dude this this song i was listening to that I was just playing by Luke Combs,
it's like show good vibes, and then you listen to it,
and it's like in the Hooters clothes.
Why are you talking about Hooters in the song?
And he's like, I don't have to talk to my ex-future mother-in-law or something.
It's like, well, that's actually real.
Yeah, it's the common man problems.
I don't know.
I relate to the common man more and more these days.
I'm sick of all this,
all this stuff.
Fuck the thought leaders,
that's what we need.
we need to,
create this like,
elitism and crypto and drive that and be like uh fuck the
elites you know like uh like like be like we we're the disruptors type thing you know what i mean
yeah um yeah but anyways how has your has your week gone is a good week for you yeah i've been
doing swims after work it's been lovely. Can't complain at all.
Do you ever do a morning swim?
No, I don't.
Because I'm already a little bit behind you guys,
so I kind of get up and get into it.
I should do that.
That would be nice.
Well, sunrise action.
But then you got to –
I know that you obviously don't go to bed early.
I feel like if you're just like a cryptic,
so it's so tough to go to bed a reasonable time, you know?
And then it's like you kind of prioritize the full night of sleep.
So you're not going to like go to bed at midnight when you get at five.
If one gets so horny over like morning swims,
it's like it's just go in the evening when the sun is setting
and it's all warm from the day.
It's nice.
It's like why wake up?
You're not going to be up when it's dark before it gets light, you no no i think it's to wake you up you know oh yeah to ground ground you
that's true you wouldn't get it uh but anyways dude you're just one of the fucking elites dude
not in touch with the color man elitist night swimmer um fucking dude scale the l1 bro okay scale the
night swims are the l2s of swims but anyways uh we do have kuru here mob the club week what's up
kuru exchange and kb hello yo what's up guys how's? Yo, Cozy, you're doxed, bro. I am doxed, man. It's big. We doxed on Monad in the morning today.
Also, I'm very distracted because a new Pope was just selected, so they haven't announced it yet.
But I'm definitely like one eye on the timeline and one eye on why Monad right now.
But very fun.
Who's it going to be?
Dude, you sound very invested. Who's it going to be? You're sounding very invested.
I'm truly invested.
It's Pietro.
It's going to be Pietro.
But no, it's good.
It's good.
Cozy, who's it going to be?
I don't know.
I have a lot of personal feelings tied up in this.
I have been praying frantically while the um you know country
music was playing which is a good uh good vibe check there so i don't know who it's going to be
i yeah no dude we'll see i don't know dude is there anyone you like yeah no definitely definitely
if it's uh i hope it's personally this guy named cardinal pizza bala his name is literally pizza
bala which would be dude you can just go on polymarket right now it looks like pietro
perolin is going to be the guy yeah that would be not ideal but i do feel like this may be one of
the ones where polymarket is off base but i could be totally wrong like maybe it will be him
the short well whatever i don't
need to get into the analysis but uh but maybe is it is it a sin to gamble on like the pope
like is that seen as bad it it use it kind of is i think it's unclear if you're a catholic if you
should bet on the papacy but But I did not.
I did not open up a position on Polymarket.
He's at 67% right now.
But you know what's interesting is that other...
Wait, this makes no sense.
Polymarket's a little broken, actually.
Pietro's at 69.
You have Luis Antonio Taglay, who's at 17.
Dude, these spreads are crazy.
Well, actually, they're a little efficient on Pietro,
but I'm looking at Pizzabella.
There's a two-cent spread.
I'm looking at Luis.
There's a three-cent spread.
I'm looking at, yeah, these are wild spreads, actually.
Kind of super illiquid.
Okay, I'm just going to call it, though.
My prediction is that it will be Cardinal Manberti. That's my gut reaction of prediction is that it will be cardinal member t that's who i
that that's my gut reaction of who i think it will be so let's see how it plays dude he's not even
i don't he's not even on the list yeah man but this is kind of one of those things where
everything is like confidential like literally the the cardinals when they go into the conclave
they're not allowed to share information. So
like what people are going off of is just totally narrative. So I do understand the
Paralene kind of like early lead, but my thought is that it's probably not him, but it could very
well be. So you don't believe in prediction markets? I do, but I do think that this is
maybe something that will buck the prediction markets. But look, but I do think that this is maybe something that will buck the
prediction markets. But look, I could be totally wrong, but that's just my gun.
All right. I'll let you get back to your prayer. KB, how are you doing today?
Hey, I'm doing good. It's been a very crazy week, but it's been a lot of fun.
How are you? Pretty good. Pretty good. pretty good vibes are high do you like my um crew retard 101
yeah it's pretty good is that is that official oh that's official drakey drew it live on
tuesday for nice yeah um it is mine but i was made promise that i'd give it away to the Kura community at some point.
The eyes look a little weird.
It's the Kura symbol.
It's also, like, too big, like, relative to the circle.
Like, all the other ones.
Like, if you look at mine.
I zoomed it in.
I zoomed it in.
Oh, that's why.
Actually, Credo is doing the same thing.
You guys are weird.
No, we just zoomed it in.
What's the common denominator between you two?
But anyways, yeah, that's awesome.
Yeah, how is Cozy?
How's the week been?
Tell us a bit about the week.
Tell us what's going on.
Yeah, I will.
So I think it's been a great week.
We've had a lot of events going on. It's Mob the Claw Week. So shout out to Bill Monday for just sending over a bunch a meme coin culture on Monad that will hopefully not just extend through this week where we have a ton of prizes and everything for the winners, but also carry on.
I hope a lot of these memes are names that we see forming these little cults that carry on into mainnet here.
And so really, we're going to be judging the meme coins tomorrow.
We've got a good set of community judges that's going to be a lot of fun, along with KB and
I looking through for things like, what is the lure of your meme?
How's the how the memetics been?
Have you been grinding and getting after with reply guy and from a personal Twitter, all
of this stuff? and so we've
got over 800 coins that have been launched i think some early leaders we got a little over 24 hours
left in the competition with over 50 000 um tesman up for grabs and a bunch of uh you know
kuru and mana discord rolls some cloud monster traits lots of good stuff so it's been a lot of
fun dude that's exciting that's very exciting
dude it's been fun oh yeah and we were on mine in the morning this morning very fun so lots of
events still going on we've got shield the coin um where people are going to come up and do five
minute little presentations on their coin at 1 30 so kb and i we're just getting after this week. Yeah, I love that.
Any standouts for you guys?
I know this is a completely unofficial ranking type thing, but any notables that have stood out to you there, you two?
Yes, definitely for me. KB used to jump in just after this but uh for me some of the ones that have stood out i really like um chad which i feel like has two good plays they've been branding
it as clob chad personally i think that they should rebrand or just slightly change it to
mon chad which i feel like is a really good play on words there.
But they've had this was like an early meme that Wolfer had made and got some play on the crew remain account back last summer when we were new and just ship posting and doing all of that pre-product.
I really like Chad. The guys have been getting after it.
It's Zeeth and Wolfer and maybe someone else that are on the team.
That's been really good
i like uh kiwi with hat which is one of the community members cats that has a monad beanie
that the person actually like knit themselves which is pretty sweet um so maybe those are two
of my early favorites but we got to look at a bunch of them this morning on monad in the morning
and there were some other ones that were kind of catching my eye too so kb who are your favorites um yeah i'm gonna um okay so of course we have jerry which they have just put in like a ton of
work into the contest and something that we really wanted to see um and what people can
kind of come up with within like a you know know, 40-hour period. But they made a Twitter page.
They made a website, a game, a Telegram.
So they just been kind of killing the game.
And that's mostly what we're focusing on in the sense of like, you know,
we're not focusing on market cap or anything like that.
And then also another one that really is funny um let me pin this it's called
dump uh and it's from chaos and um diego and it's basically just inago's shit when i guess
he like took his shit in like the Monad office and they're just
like shitting on like all the projects sorry for my language um but there's like a pinned tweet of
like dump on Kiwi with hat so that's like a funny little like rebuttal it's like really brain rot
um you know that that doesn't require website but it's very, like, meme-esque.
Yeah, we have, there's a ton.
Slur from Slow.
That's a good one because it's just very much him.
He made a white paper in, like, the Slur Foundation, which is, like, really funny and kind of, like, you know, like, very meme-esque with, like, Monad.
So that's been an original kind of like day one.
Padapuck as well.
Super cute.
I love their website.
Really stood out to me.
And I'm just going to like pin that as well.
But yeah, I just I pinned a few of these favorites up.
And and yeah, it's been it's been a lot of fun.
A lot of these guys have websites.
And this is just like five.
I can't, you know, there's so many.
But we did go through them yesterday in the Discord,
which was really fun. And then today, after this space,
we will kind of let everybody give their like five-minute show
and potentially do a community vote. and based off of that g van
will join me i believe nini will join me um and anybody's like invited you know tunes if you have
i haven't seen tunes in the discord yet at all this entire week actually so yeah it would be
great if you would actually join us uh Toons, maybe for the pitching.
And so you can actually see some of these coins for yourself.
But yeah, those are my favorites.
They're pinned up for now.
I mean, not just the only ones, but definitely the standouts.
well now i feel like you've put me on the spot oh yeah
Well, now I feel like you've put me on the spot.
see i view all uh other projects as a threat to my own you know because i'm i'm a bit of a
project oh yes i do yes i do
it's that's an nft project Steve will rise and Steve will kill it.
Steve is at zero. I could literally buy
all the Steve NFTs.
The Monad ecosystem is, there's two classes
of projects.
You have the Steve's and the non-Steve's.
And right now there's only one Steve.
What is Steve's moat?
I'm going to wrap my head.
What is Steve's moat?
Doesn't Steve have a literal moat that was dug by hand by Kryptoons himself?
Steve's moat is the team of the project.
Is it that he's drinking balls?
What are you talking about? That doesn't understand my art my art is
contemporary and won't won't be understood for hundreds of years
anyways um this is exciting i'm happy for you guys. Really diving into the meme coin markets.
What is, what's it, how difficult is it to launch a meme coin on Kuru?
Yeah, so I mean it's super easy. On the main page if you go to kuru.io, one of the tabs is launch.
So click into that. You've got just a few fields that you fill out, right?
So you put in the name of the coin the ticker maybe a picture and then really you just click the launch button right now it launches
with just a flat 0.5 mon in liquidity but as of last friday now you can add liquidity to the vault
make it more liquid and just have user deployed liquidity on there you'll be able to earn fees
from that on mainnet.
And we'll make the seeding of liquidity and everything variable once we get to mainnet.
But it's really easy. It's just a few quick clicks. And if you want to register for the
competition right now, there's one more field that you fill out where you put in like your name,
your Twitter address or Twitter address, your Twitter handle, the names of any teammates that
you might have. You can have up to three people on a team,
and then it automatically registers you for Mob the Club.
I love that.
Maybe, should I?
Is it too late to enter?
Why is it too late?
I'm trying to get in there.
No, Mod Ad team members are not allowed to participate in the contest.
But you can launch a coin and hang out.
I'm going to leave team member first and a Monad team member second.
Sure, you can launch.
But I doubt yours will win because I just don't think you have it in you to create a funny meme coin.
No motion.
Yeah, zero.
I appreciate that.
I guess, you know, they say it takes one to know one. So that's very fair. No motion. Yeah, zero. I appreciate that.
I guess, you know, they say it takes one to know one.
So that's very fair.
But anyways, Mr. Mondays, what are you seeing, Mr. Bill?
What are you seeing, Bill, from the week so far?
How are the NADs doing with all the meme coins?
The NADs are doing good.
It's almost like, I don't know, a lot of these teams have kind of been preformed as the teams that have been running these NFT projects.
And, you know, been running NFT projects pre-mainnet for a while. And so it's like now they can just reactivate, do something silly, like create a little website, create some sticker packs, have some fun with it, you know.
And then people are also realizing how easy it is to kind of create these gamified or like, I don't know, more structural meme coins.
It's easy to just launch like, I don't know, Elon's dog and then link to a tweet or whatever.
But it's almost more fun to like create a character, create lore, create like sticker packs, get some, you know, mantras and phrases behind it things like that um so we're
seeing people get like some knowledge of what it takes to kind of launch these coins uh and then
you know back channeling and kind of private groups and shill campaigns and all sorts i mean
the crew discord has turned into like a massive big It's like that RuneScape general market where everyone's just selling lobbies
16k or whatever, non-stop.
Dude, you're bringing me back to the glory days.
Yeah, that was big.
I never really...
RuneScape was so hard.
I would just end up maxing out on fishing
and then just being minder on everything else.
I just couldn't figure it out, really.
Dude, I loved RuneScape so much. I'm actually convinced that what everyone is doing here mined out on everything else i just couldn't figure it out really dude i loved runescape
so so much i'm actually convinced that what everyone is doing here in crypto is just recreating
runescape basically yeah that's what the entire industry is is just recreating runescape yeah
yeah i remember just like trying to hack people a lot like hacking people seemed like the big
thing back then well especially in my circle i don't know we just weren't good enough to like grind our own accounts so we're just trying
to hack people dude i would straight up scan people in that game it was so fun dude yeah
dude they uh because uh they ruined the game when they added the trade restrictions like they would
have this central market where it would keep track of what
all the items are basically worth based on the fair market value. And then you weren't allowed
to make trades with people unless the fair market value of each side of the trade were within like
10 or 20% of each other. And it just, it just ruined everything. Because what i would do is you know do you remember notes bill like
you could hold an item in a note form oh yeah vaguely yeah yeah i don't know why they did i
think they did it so you could hold multiple of one or something like that you could hold an item
in a note form right and uh there was do you remember uh like Obsidian Capes? Yeah. Obby Cape?
Dude, I was an Obby Cape merchant.
So what I would do is I would walk around.
I'd be like selling Obby Cape, selling Obby Cape.
And I would enter in a trade with someone.
I would put up an Obby Cape in note form.
And then I would be like, and I would be selling it cheap, right?
The market price is like 200,000 gold.
And I would be selling it for like 125 or 150. So the person would always be gassed up and I would
go to like the final screen. And then I would like close down and be like, no, no, I don't know.
And then I would like, let them think that they're like emotionally manipulating me into just doing
it and like have a little conversation and let them like, kind of like trick me into just doing
the trade. And then I'd be like, oh, okay, fine. Um, and then I would go and I would put up, um, a black
cape in note form and a black cape is worth like 20 gold, but it looks identical to the
obby cape when it's in note form. Cause the obby cape looks like a black cape with a little red
trim, but when it's a note form, you don't really notice it and then i would just completely scan people for like 200 000 gold and mind you i was like i was like eight years old at the time and this was so
fun dude this is like just just probably like just you know just murking people who are like
way older than me i felt like such a little evil genius dude it was so fun man i miss those days
did you used to do, like, the...
Wait, was it...
You were just getting me to, like, finding GF,
and you just, like, find, like, a girlfriend?
Yeah, dude.
That's how I met my lady today.
You'd just be with some other dude,
just hanging out and, like, laughing.
Dude, then you could, like, lure people into the woods.
You could, like, go into, like pvp worlds and be like hey
man like you wanna um you you'd like put up a trade offer and be like oh i'm selling this for
this cheap price and then you'd be like yeah i'm in and then you'd be like oh dude i just got to
go to my bank which is in the next little town over so can you follow me and then they would
follow you and then you would like hop into the like the wilderness where it's like pvp you could
pvp anyone you'd be just like for like a quick little shortcut and then the moment they would follow you and then you would like hop into the like the wilderness where it's like pvp you could pvp anyone you'd be just like for like a quick little shortcut
and then the moment they would go in there you just attack them and kill them and take all your
stuff you were a deviant dude it was so fun it was like literally the most fun game ever um
but yeah did you play any runescape oh yeah dude i i played runescape my parents
were gamers growing up which is kind of embarrassing but my mom got to a million
gold faster than i did my mom my mom would grind no way dude yeah man no i was in like fourth grade
we went hard in the paint it was fun man that's sick kb did you play games or whatever did you um no i didn't i didn't play runescape
um i think i played when i was like really young the sims and kingdom hearts and then there's like
a good while i didn't play much and then i played animal crossing what would you do in the sims
would you do like what a classic kid would do oh yeah yeah
and roller coaster tycoon you don't want to know oh roller coaster that was such you do not want
to know you're not what i would do to my roller coasters oh yeah just like basically like uh
just like murdering like 50 people at once i killed killed a lot of my characters now that I think about it.
What if they're like real and we're in a simulation?
I would like...
We need to just put those on testnet just to play.
I would trap...
Sometimes I would trap my sims in a fire.
I don't know.
What's going on?
It's kind of fucked up.
It explains a lot.
It explains a lot.
Yeah. These are the good old days uh and now we're making meme coin i feel like everything
yeah we're just all trying to recreate runescape basically like when you put all of crypto
together it's like basically like runescape but with like terrible experience you just need to
we seem to be like walk around and hang out with each other um yeah you need more like
otc and like p person p2p markets because that's the problem with like cryptos it's all
it's the problem is kuru doing this automated stuff when we really need to be out there just
like in the grand central exchange you know and like p2p yeah wait you guys need to build an nft like trader
you got we let's get nfts on kuru that's what that's what enough please i'm i'm just a girl
i want i want nfts on kuru i think that would be sweet i want just a chat just a chat in kuru
and then or maybe it's it's in real life space.
You can walk a character around
and you can just open up
P2P transactions.
You could just be selling
100k Steve at
price and then someone's like,
do it. Then you just open up a little window and you can
just P2P trade with them.
Yeah, that would be cool. It's like we pivot to being a metaverse project
yeah no no but yeah think about a chat box where in the chat box you could send you could be like
trade offer and then like if i click on it like it opens up a little runescape window and like
i can put what i have in my wallet in there
and you can put you have and we like figure it out you could be like looking for a girlfriend
and stuff like that was like that was the the trade chat as i remember anybody did you guys play wow
no that wasn't me not a lot damn me vitalic and ansem are just gonna have to
go off and talk about wow oh vitalic played well oh yeah i played
vitalic the reason why vitalic made ethereum is because of wow his warlock got nerfed the character
got nerfed by blizzard and so he said that he like stopped playing wow and so he started like
going online and that's how he found crypto and made ethereum he literally made it decentralized
though because he was upset that blizzard was centralized and they like nerfed his character
he needs to come full circle with that story and uh make it happen which i guess he is now because
because they're scaling the l1 which is good oh no full circle would be he he uh buys blizzard
and then nerfs them isn't it yeah that would get me more excited
than coinbase acquiring deribit yeah what happened there what do you mean bill i don't know does
cozy do you have any any thoughts on on that well um okay so i'm actually not super. I know that I think Deribit is like a derivatives and perps platform.
I think that's right.
I don't really know a lot contextually, but it was the biggest acquisition in crypto history.
It dropped this morning.
I think it was in like the $2 billion range, maybe somewhere in that.
And so I think basically it could lead to Coinbase perps in the US.
Is that right, Toons?
I'm not 100% sure.
I thought Darabit is options.
Oh, it may very well be options.
That's probably right.
I actually don't know.
Yeah, dude, Darabit is options.
So, Bill, it's options.
Okay. Okay.
I just know that there's lots of,
whenever, like, big moves happen,
there's always Darabit apes.
They get completely wiped out
to the tunes of, like, tens of millions.
And it's like, what are they doing over there?
I think there's, like,
I sense this, like, Coinbasebase robin hood rivalry starting to emerge
you know i think a lot of people just kind of like assume coinbase is one in the u.s
but um you know robin hood like i think a lot of people have this thesis right of like oh okay well
um you have lots of people in the u. just don't do crypto, but they do other
stuff, right? They do gambling on sports, they trade stocks, whatever. And it's like,
oh, at some point something will happen and those people will just be trading crypto and buying
crypto, whatever. But a lot of those people are already on Robinhood. And so it's just like,
if Robinhood really goes all in on crypto, it just seems like they're going to do,
there's a pretty good chance that those people just don't like move over to coinbase and they just stay on robinhood um so yeah i think that coinbase feels the pressure
and threat from robinhood where like robinhood has options built into robinhood right so uh they
definitely feel like they need to compete which is is why I think they bought Darabit.
But perps, yeah, perps are really interesting.
If they're legalized in the US, that would be, I mean, yeah,
that would be pretty, that would unlock a lot of volume for crypto markets.
I'm going to show my ignorance here,
but like is the thing about Pips is that you can just
short them versus Spot right?
That's their main functionality betterment?
Well you can
you're just getting leverage
so you can short or long
You know what I mean?
So if you have
you can take a $10,000 position, right?
So the volumes are just going to be higher.
So it's like this leverage is built in or whatever?
Yeah, exactly.
And you get liquidated and stuff like that.
Yeah, but it's not legal.
Perps aren't legal in the US.
That's trying to change that, right?
Yeah, I have a feeling they're going to be made legal so um yeah and like you know like uh there's probably a lot of
people who like to just like i don't know it's just it's just it's just you know more get more
gambling for people in the u.s a gambling vehicle like a crypto gambling vehicle for people in the U.S., a gambling vehicle, a crypto gambling vehicle for people in the U.S.
People love gambling, man.
I feel like this new generation,
especially even in New Zealand universities and things
where people used to party and do drugs and drink
and rave or whatever now they're
like they just have like we call them flats but there's like share house or whatever like dorms
or whatever like they now instead of like drinking and partying and doing antics they just have like
shared flat gambling accounts where they just post like instagram videos about their whole flat
gambling um it's like that's what they'll do now
people are just addicted to dopamine they're all generation too though like my grandmother has been
buying lottery tickets for like 30 plus years like every fucking week like every like present
i give her whether it's like christmas birthday a mother's day like I get her lottery
cards and she loves it every fucking time it's like the hack yeah Bill so that makes you wrong
both generations it's just us that's missing maybe no no no it's like, uh, there is this, um, right now the world is still pretty fragmented with regards to like finance, um, like social media and like, uh, I guess like gambling, but it just seems like these, these things just converge year after year where like basically every part of our life is becoming uh financialized
and there's just like a market for everything um and i think maybe that's kind of what you're
saying bill is like well now all of a sudden like there's just you can just bet on anything
really yeah and just does it for everything i think yeah uh and once it gets normalized retailers
and and businesses will start rolling it into, because, you know, they do this whole like, sign up to the email list and get 15% off your first purchase or whatever it might be.
But maybe they just roll all of that into like, okay, you've now bought five things.
You can spin this wheel and maybe get your sixth thing like free or something like that.
Dude, imagine if Klarna expands to perps and they're like okay
you just spent 20 on uber eats you can deposit two dollars and go long uh like chipotle stock
and if it goes up you'll uh your purchase is free but if it goes down you'd pay 200
yeah it is real it i'm surprised the states isn't more into that because states the u.s you'd pay $200. Yeah.
It is real.
I'm surprised the States isn't more into that because the US really revolutionized credit
and leverage in that way early on,
where the rest of the world doesn't roll on credit,
they just roll on debit.
Every other country just does direct transfers
and things like that.
No one else uses credit cards,
and so I'm surprised that the States weren't like full force into perps before everyone else because that seems like a
very usa thing dude like you should be able to go into a chipotle and like you buy a burrito and then
it like you get a free option on chipotle stock or something. Like, you know what? Like, it's like a wild out of the money thing.
And it's just like, then you're like invested in the success of the company.
And then you're like, oh shit, I got to like go eat more burritos and tweet about Chipotle
on Twitter to make the price.
You like go to like check out for your five guys.
And it like pops up that you can like do a six leg parlay. And like, if you for your five guys. And it, like, pops up that you can, like, do a six-leg parlay.
And, like, if you hit, you get it for free.
But if you lose, they, like, 10x your order.
Yeah, dude.
Get some rare bet sports, like, going in there.
Oh, dude, you know what would be good is if you, like, you could tie your social media account to it.
And so they knew how much influence and reach you had.
And then you like gambled like a promo tweet or something.
Like you're like, oh, like coin flip you guys.
If I win, I get the burger for free.
If I lose, I'll tweet about five guys.
Yeah, you call it chipotle.fun.
It's like really good.
Yes, dude. We're, dude, i think i think we we got good ideas
i think we could i think we could do something the employees would hate that so much imagine
everyone that comes in is now like a fractional shareholder and you're just like no clean this
like okay step it up over there on the fryer you need to be better at this like everyone's acting
like ray crock just like no this is not good enough like it's like
dude you own like point you know zero zero zero one percent dude imagine like hitting up keone
like hey boss man i'll bet you 10 hours a week this work this week you're like i was gonna work
40 hours but like i'm feeling risky so like let's coin flip for 50 or 30. Oh, yeah.
Like the HR spin to wins.
Yeah, PTO becomes perpetuals time off.
And you just short yourself or long yourself for a given week.
Dude, insider trading to nuke the company.
That would be sweet.
That would be sweet that would be sweet
okay maybe we took it too far but anyways
is this based recorded um but yeah back to kuru um yeah dude what's what what's uh
so okay so what's the rest what's the rest of schedule for the week
cozy yeah right on so um today at 1 30 in the discord um kb is going to be going live we'll
be on stage and we'll be looking at the different coins um that are basically like oh well we're
not really taking a look we're more so like opening the stage up to
people different teams to come on they'll have five minutes to be able to show their coin and
basically give like a little mini pitch it's kind of like a monad shark tank but for mob the club
going on so we're taking notes and then I think later on this afternoon KB can give the exact
times there's going to be some gaming and stuff like that. We can come win Mon and like have some fun.
And I think today, later today is Nini draws.
So come draw with Nini.
I think at maybe like 5 or 6 p.m.
So that'll be fun.
And then tomorrow at 9 a.m.
Tunes, you might want to come through for this.
We're doing Cozy's Coffee and Comedy Hour.
So I'm going to be doing some bits.
We're going to be watching some bits no way
you're doing this yeah dude no that's become a staple of kuru live is that nick lachey bullies
me into doing one bit every week so i'm gonna try to have like 10 minutes or something like that
um yeah do a little stand up watch a little stand up talk about comedy have some fun with it
so that's at 9 a.m tomorrow in the crew discord 9 a.m est
come to you even awake at 9 a.m is on one day are you even awake at 9 a.m yes
don't try to don't try to project your sleeping habits onto me, so we'll do that tomorrow morning. We'll see if
Toons is maybe in his nightcap,
got a little
PJ going on.
Me and my gown.
Yeah, you look like
the... Who's the guy who's trying to live forever?
Ryan Johnson.
Yeah, man.
You got your little candle on
the little lights that you're carrying some sleepy time tea.
But yeah. And then at I think it's noon or 11 a.m.
We're doing Friday natting with with King Louis and G van.
And then at 4 p.m. EST, that's the close of the meme coin contest.
And we're going to get on and live judge um and go through the
different memes and basically give out the top five and that'll be like we said earlier based
off of like lore memetics a little bit based off of the chart but really we're leaning into your
ground game for your meme um we've got a bunch of fun guests i think that john w will be there
as one of the judges king louis g van a few of the Monad community team members.
So it's going to be a lot of fun.
It's exciting, man.
What's been the biggest surprise of the week?
What's the one thing you did not expect?
Yeah, I would say definitely most of us are aware that the snipers have been a big problem
like with launching coins.
And so the on-chain has been a bit of a slaughter fest.
I feel like the vibes have still been generally good
because again, we really wanted to focus this
more on the culture side
and just like getting people to start Twitters,
reply guy, meme, do all of that stuff for fun.
But yeah, so we really, I think,
identified through this week in a good way
the weakness of the launch pad. And honestly, this is a problem that persists across other
mainnet chains as well. Even the bonding curve is not a perfect solution because we know the
problems of snipers with pumped out fun and all that stuff stuff but i think it's a good thing because it's been a fruit that has just encouraged the team to look even closer at ways that we can fortify the
launch pad and make it more sustainable for when we go live on mainnet so we're exploring a lot of
different solutions tunes knows we were on a call yesterday brainstorming and doing all that stuff
so the team is really working hard um our devs on yeah just like making the launch pad more fair more equitable for people to be able to get in um and not just have the
supply get all the way grabbed up by snipers um but there's still some coins that are doing really
well regardless and uh the good thing is that this is a funny money stage so it's a good time
to have problems come up where you can have the time to solve them that's awesome
that's incredible yeah dude how do we get the what do we do with the snipers like what are we
what's the what's the solution here so my push is to hire mercenaries and to actually like go
and like hunt them down i'm thinking something like you know how the east india trading company
had like a private army that's kind of like what I'm pushing for is that
we like maybe get some like former Navy SEALs and that kind of deal. And we just like send them
around the world and just kind of let them do what they do to the snipers, maybe some counter
snipers with snipers. But but genuinely, like, there's some good thought around like Dutch
auctions, or different ways to try to make like price discovery more fair but
there's just a lot of different things to to think through in that way so yeah we're just
we're in the brainstorming phase right now
yeah how do we how do we i'm in i'm in how do we make um through like the best
like literally just undeniably the best thing because
i feel like when i go on there i'm like trying to think about the ui or the ux whatever and i want
to send like messages to the team and things and be like it's just very hard like if people have
feedback can they can they send that to you guys or is there like a process where people can give kind of feedback?
Well, I agree that that is essential. There is a product feedback little tab on the,
pretty sure it's on the bottom of the screen. I'll look at it here on the actual site.
But yeah, so there definitely is a product feedback tab. It is on the bottom right corner,
right next to our docs and our links to our socials and everything. So it has a little
light bulb right here next to it. If you click in the feedback, it lets you pick between an issue,
an idea, or other. And then it sends it to our team anonymously, although you can identify yourself in the message.
So there is that forum. There's also the Monad Eco feedback form that Keone just put out recently,
which I think is another tool that I hope people will utilize. And then Discord, I would recommend
people go there. If you're having any issues, we have a clob bugs channel where people can go and
drop issues. And our devs are really actively present
in that and so they'll be like responding in real time and like helping to ship fixes so
i can just shout out the guys um you know like dev dat the dev is literally named dev
um abhishek some of the rune some of the other guys um they all are just hanging out in there
all the time to make the experience as smooth as possible but i agree there's still work to be done on the ui ux side because i love i used to follow some guys
that would do uh conversion optimization on twitter and it was always very interesting
they were mostly doing e-commerce and things but i know this applies to general ui ux and crypto
but like they would do you know a b tests on the smallest little things like okay we
make this button slightly bigger we round the corners we make it blue tint instead of red tint
we make it whatever and they'll be like okay this performs like five percent better i'm going to do
this and then that av test that and like do like so much stuff just to get extra 0.5 sales over time whatever i feel like um crypto could
could learn or try and do that a bit more and like people could just do that off of their
intuition if they jump onto the page and they're trying to buy um you know chad or whatever it is
and it's like okay i feel like this button should be easier or you know harder or whatever it might
be um if people can really think through that it would be very very helpful i know um no i i i agree bill and i think that like a few of the
things that we have down the line maybe a little alpha for the why monad crew is that we um got
an idea from fits to have like sound effects for when you trade so like when you get like filled
on a limit order or when you like make
a big buy or stuff like that so the team is actually working on like implementing sound effects
which i know is kind of silly but could kind of give like that extra little hit of dopamine and
you'll be able to toggle it on and off really easily but but that could be kind of fun for
me that that came from from fits and we're working on that and one of the things that i'm really
excited about that we've been doing user interviews with
over the last month or two
is like a mobile app
that you'll be able to add to your home screen,
maybe eventually turned into a mobile app,
especially with some of the Apple Store changes
that are coming down the pike here.
So I've gotten a chance to use the Kougaroo mobile app.
And honestly, it's super slick, super clean.
And that's something we really wanna lean into
down the line here.
So I'm excited for you guys to get your hands on that in the next few months here.
Yeah, you need to have, well, you don't need to have it,
but the Agar.io has those awesome bouncing trade noises.
And then the, I don't know international brokers or whatever they have
that british guy that goes like order filled order filled order holding uh i feel like that'd be fun
just for the just for the gags
bill you're gonna be a great founder one day i know it
dude imagine you like close the trade like down like a thousand, and when your order gets filled,
it's like, oof.
Like, damn.
Dude, that would be...
Like, when you get liquidated, a little video pops up, and it's like, hey, man.
So... Didn't really go your way but but there's always another try let's get some more money in that account big guy come on deposit deposit and it's just kind of like manipulating
you dude my face pops up he's just like hey sorry about that man it just it just
goes away dude it would be so uh oh dude you know it you know what they need um you know how like uh
in call of duty right you get killed and then it like shows you like the kill cam of the other guy
like if like you get liquidated and it kind of just like shows you like the other guy who took
the opposite end and like him kind of just like being up a bunch of money.
Like it'd be like it's like when you see the e-sports celebrations when they just like stand up from their computer like yeah.
Yeah and then you get like locked out and you have to like spectate like some other dude like tree.
Just like take notes.
I mean this would all be happening at like four in the morning and you'd
just be like waking up groggy and you'd have like your phone blaring like repeat messages like oh
dudes oh dudes oh dude you got liquid oh no dude your camera light just like flashes on and you're
just like being recorded to like get shown to the other guy that just waged it at you.
Just groggy?
What the fuck is going to happen?
Dude, give them a link to a McDonald's application.
Good trolling.
There's a lot of room for that
that I feel like hasn't been tapped into.
It's good stuff.
Yeah, I guess it's been I guess, I don't know. I guess it's been an hour.
But I don't know. Is there anything else you wanted to talk about, Cozy?
Man, that's a good question.
If you guys haven't checked out our Vaults product yet, it is at the top of the interface now.
So all markets that have been launched have their own Vaults.
So you can go in and deploy liquidity, which is a lot of fun.
That's on a V2 curve.
We are teasing right now that down the line in a few weeks here, we have a new innovation, which is going to allow V3 style concentrated liquidity on top of the order book, which is going to be a big unlock for tokens, especially like LSTs, stable coins, stuff like that where you're not expecting the price
to be able to move as much.
You just get way more efficiency on your capital
and everything that you're deploying and earn fees.
So that'll be a lot of fun.
Stay tuned for more information on that.
But otherwise, yeah, no, that's the big stuff.
So yeah, go check out Liquidity
and hang out with us in Discord
over the next 24 hours or so up to judging tomorrow at 4.
That's good.
Anything from you, KB?
No, I think Cozy covered everything.
Oh, yeah, okay, very funny.
No, but like that voice in your head, which is just like, I don't know, I should eat soon, it's hot today, blah, blah,
thinking about things that you need to do. People just don't know. I should eat soon. It's hot today. I'm thinking about things that you need to do.
People just don't have that.
Alright, well.
I want you to be the host of this one day.
You be the primary
talker or whatever.
No, no, because I like to hear you struggle.
I like to hear you struggle.
You like to hear me struggle?
Yeah, where it goes quiet and you're like, all right.
All right.
I'm going to play some music and then, yeah, just everyone go.
Let's finish Mob the Club Week strong.
Let's launch some meme coins.
And, yeah, let's have some fun. Let's have some fun coins. And yeah, let's have some fun.
Let's have some fun out there.
Thank you guys all for being here.
And without further ado, see you next week.
So take care and cheers. We can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance
And if they don't dance for that
No friends of mine
See, we can go where we want to
Place all day we'll never find
And we can act like we come from out of this world
See there'll be a one more behind
Let's go! that makes me cry. See, we can act if we want to, if we don't, nobody will.
If you can act real good and cold,
I'll leave a mood and I can act like an imbecile.
See, we can dance, we can dance,
everything's out of control.
We can dance, we can dance,
they're doing it before the war.
We can dance, we can dance,

It's safe to dance
We can dance for one who, we've got all your life in mind
As long as we have to touch him, we're gonna lose him
Everything will sound right, I see
We can dance for one who, we can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance And if they don't dance
Well there's no friends of mine
We can dance
