because I'm here with all of you having a great time, staying hydrated,
getting even wider.

As I've hinted several times already,
the team is cooking up something really spectacular for the Baritoners in game.
We already know that the Baritoners are not only
fully rigged VTubers that are officially out, but they are also playable avatars in game.
And there's more that we're cooking in game as well. I still am not at liberty to disclose this particular bit of alpha, but as someone who knows what's going on on the inside, and as someone who absolutely loves playing cozy adventure-style games,
adventure style games, knowing what the team is putting together as an extra additional utility
for the baritoners. Oh my gosh, it's got me geeked. I'm so excited. I can't wait for the time where I
can finally share with you what this alpha is, but that will not be today. Don't worry though, I still have plenty of alpha

If you have never used VTubers before, don't worry, bestie. I got you covered.
I did make a tutorial video to walk you through the steps, whether you are a Windows or a Mac user. It's
actually surprisingly easy once you get into the thick of it. I think the most confusing part
is learning how to use OBS. When I first started using it, it was a little bit intimidating just
because I was looking at a completely new UI,
had no idea what the heck anything was. But don't worry, I walk you through the basics.
And then, you know, you can either look up tutorials or if you're like me and you just
want to learn through doing, you can mess around and start to experiment with the different types of assets you can add into your scenes.
For anyone that is interested in streaming, I recommend using OBS.
It's just really great in terms of what you can do with it,
and it's going to up your game once you learn a lot of those really neat tips and tricks.

some really crazy scenes going on with like, you know, GIFs, even audio wave visualizers. There's
a lot you can do with it. So have fun. And I can't wait to see all of your personalities come through and how you set up your scenes and

some of our community members that have already been creating some content with their vtubers
um first of all shout out James hold on I have to I literally had it pulled up but it's not gonna
let me share to this space I have to do it like this.

He's already been using his VTuber to not only do gameplay streams, but he's also done some audio reading as well.
He has a really great voice for audio reading. So everyone give James a round of applause for coming out the gate hot and very wide with his content creation.

that's a cool Barra toner you got. I'm sure all of our community would appreciate the
support amongst each other. A community is only as strong as their widest Barra. So we all have to be
very, very wide in our love and in our support and in our caloric intake, of course.
James isn't the only one, though. I also want to shout out Otis. I just shared his video to the
space. His video actually made me laugh a lot. He was like, what's up, motherfuckers? I'm a bear now. It's just so funny. I really enjoyed
this little video that he made. I love to see this kind of just like silly content,
especially because, you know, it's his first time also like using the VTuber. So this video is him, you know, giving us a giggle and also just like kind of generally showing off his introduction into charge of their digital identity, create their own content, help boost their own personal brand and presence in the space.
So I'm super thrilled to see people using it already and really excited to see what else people are going to make. And then also,
the last one for this week that I want to shout out is Astroji Barra. I just shared his tweet to
the Jumbotron. He used like a TikTok audio and made his own video with some of his baritoners on top of it and I think
it came together really cute it's funny um I really enjoy you know just seeing like that sort
of practical application and I think like especially on TikTok there's a huge opportunity to use these VTubers to just like make a bunch of really
awesome, silly content. I've used my VTuber and some of the other like bear models that I have
to even do like dance videos. There's a, well, what's it called? I totally forget off the top of my noggin, but there's,
there's basically like a file type where it includes essentially like instructions on how
to move your VTuber. So you can just like open up a program. The one that I use is called, what's it called? VRM live viewer. And so you can import your VTuber
into that program and then import the dance files and it'll like animate your, your VTuber.
So if there's like Fortnite dances or K-pop dances or whatever else you can think of. If you can find a dance file type, it's called MMD.
That's what it is. So if you look on YouTube and you Google or like not Google, but you search on
YouTube free MMD download, you'll see like a bunch of different videos where the video itself will be
showing what the dance is with their 3d models and then
it'll typically include a link to um I forget the names of like the popular sites of course as I say
this always do your due diligence double check urls you know yada yada be safe um but I've done
it before to make my own content um so there's a lot you can
do like you don't even have to use the vtubers to like face track you can get these mmd files
and create animations without even needing to hook up the face tracking at all so there's a lot
and I also saw someone in our community, actually.
They were in some sort of a VR chat, and they imported their bear models. And so it was them and a friend running around this VR world as their bears.
And it looked so good, actually.
They didn't post it on Twitter.
It was just posted into Discord, or else I would put it on the Jumbotron.
But if you're in our Discord, go look at that.
I think they put it in the Tonertown chat, which is the Baritone folder chat.
I can't remember.
I'm scrolling up a bit to see if I can find it.
Maybe it wasn't there.
After this, I'll see if I can find it in our discord and I'll like
ping it back to the bottom so you guys can give that a look as well but not right now I can't
multitask I'm on my treadmill and I'm also talking that's already two things that's a lot of things
for a bear with no brain cells. So yeah, shout out to everyone
for creating so much awesome content right out the gate of these VTubers being released. It's been
so exciting to see and I will definitely continue each week to highlight and shout out the community members that are making content. So if you do

in it so I can see it and make sure to include it in the Wide Barra Wednesday spaces. I love giving flowers to all of you that are using

quick actually. I'm a little parched from nonstop yapping. Okay, thank you um so next week we will be having our very first content creation contest
yeah so this is going to be very similar to meme and art contests that we've done in the past.
We'll give you a bit of time to create and submit your creations.
And then we'll have winners that will win some sweet, sweet moolah.
And we'll also have some really cool rolls to win too
so make sure you are preparing yourselves for that um I'm gonna have another office hour in
the baritone discord uh immediately following our space. So if you do have any questions or you

James and I were actually in VC yesterday. We were both like streaming with our VTubers playing
games. He was playing Call of Duty and I was playing Oblivion and we were both like streaming with our VTubers playing games.

and that was really fun. So I want to do a lot more of that with the community as well.

Here's actually another piece of alpha related to that oh I love the way that flows
totally like the perfect bridge into my next alpha drop for you guys uh so we are partners a particularly cool protocol that offers a lot of really neat functions and features for
tracking experience, points, etc. And this is going to connect between Discord, our marketplace, and even in-game. Meaning, if you have certain roles,
that will unlock extra stuff for you in-game, whether that be items, quests, maybe some areas.
um i know i know it's exciting so as you probably know there are a bunch of different roles that you
can earn in the baritone community if you need a refresher on some of the main ones you can check
under the start here category there's a channel called earn roles.
And this is going to walk you through what some of the main ones are and how you can earn them yourself.
This is going to be very advantageous to have because we're actually getting it all finalized with this partner to start incorporating this really
exciting feature.
So I can't wait for you guys to experience not only baritone game, but all of the ways
that we are cooking extra fun treats and surprises for you, whether that be through rolls, through holding the sailcloth,
through holding baritoners, or just for being really cool and great and extra wide.
The team is always thinking of our community and just like how we can best give back. So I'm super thrilled that this particular piece is coming together
right now because I think it's going to be really bullish for everyone to learn about.
So that being said, if you haven't really spent a lot of time or efforts on getting those roles, don't worry. You still have time. But I would start thinking about
it because I think what you'll find is that the bearers with the most amount of roles are going to
be really, really happy that they do have all of those roles. Plus, it's low-key like a flex.
Like, have you ever gone into a discord
and you click on someone's name and they just have like two dozen roles and you're like yo
what the fuck this guy's like an og he's like unk status in this server yeah i love that feeling. So if you're not there yet, I recommend you get there. There's a lot coming
for that. And of course, this creation contest that we will be going live with next week will
naturally include some special roles. Holy moly, say that five times fast.
Anytime we have like any sort of special contest, there's always going to be special
roles attached to that that you can't really otherwise get. So I assume that means that those roles are going to have some
extra juicy stuff attached to them since they're the most exclusive and special.

To give you guys a little bit of insight, I do plan on opening up submissions for probably two weeks because that way for anyone who works
regular day jobs that gives you two weekends to create your stuff. I know not everyone is
a professional degen like myself so don't worry I've got you in mind as well. I know
I do it all for my community. I got you. Don't worry. So I'm really excited to see what you
guys create. It's going to be pretty open in terms of what you want to do. So whether you're a gamer,
want to do. So whether you're a gamer, a podcast host, an audiobook reader, a meme maker,
whatever, as long as it's content using your baritoner, boom, you're in. So yeah,
I'm super thrilled to see what you guys make. And let's see, I'm trying to think if there's any other
like major news. Oh, I will give you an update on the play test. So I will be doing some
international travel. I'm going to ETHCC next week. So first of all, if you're going to be at ECC, let me know. I have some baritone
stickers and I'm more than happy to give you some if you find me and say, BM, I'll say, BM,
do you want some stickers? And you'll say, oh my gosh, yeah. And I'll be like, okay, yay,
here you go. That's basically what that interaction will go like um and so I'm not gonna have the
playtest live until I'm home because when that playtest does open up to baritoners we will have
community game days so that we you know we can all play together since baritone game is like a shared server experience, it's obviously way more fun
when you're playing with your buddies. So get ready to see this pre-alpha build. It's actually
kind of insane to me because we already had like overwhelmingly positive reception from our sailcloth holders in terms of their reactions
to the game visually and mechanically.
And since then, it's only gotten better.
So I'm really, really, really excited for not only you to experience this first edition of the playtest, but our second major playtest
update is coming for end of summer. And you're just going to be amazing. It's going to be, dare I say,
wide. Yeah. But we'll start with the pre-alpha build. We won't get ahead of ourselves.
Let you enjoy that, experience that, get to know basically what level of polish that our team is committed to delivering,
and then we'll come out with the next edition of the playtest and it'll just wow you guys even more.
So there's a lot happening. Basically this summer we're going to really focus on community building,
having a bunch of fun together, getting people using their VTubers, getting them to experience that first playtest build.
And then come the end of summer slash fall, we're going to have even more for you guys to do.
Of course, as you all know, building a video game actually takes a lot of
time. I had never been a part of a project that was building a game before. So it's been really
cool for me, first of all, to just like get to learn and experience what this process is like,
like especially because I'm a lifelong gamer and it's like my favorite hobby um so thank you guys
especially because I'm a lifelong gamer and it's like my favorite hobby.
for just like believing in us and believing in the vision and rocking with us as we are working our
butts off to give you the most fun web 3 game that you're ever going to play. Actually, I don't even know if I, like, yeah, it's a Web3 game.
But because, like, we really prioritize that fun gameplay experience, I really honestly believe we're going to have a bunch of Web2 gamers playing it as well.
Which is going to be great because that's going to be a way for us to onboard a bunch of new people into crypto.
Especially because, like I've said many a time before,
so many Web2 gamers do have a bit of that sour taste in their mouth still about crypto.
Like, they assume all of it is just scams and, you know,
like they just have like a violent reaction if they even hear the word crypto
so by creating this game where we are first and foremost prioritizing that fun immersive
gameplay experience and then under the hood it's enhanced by the crypto stuff i think that's going
to go a really long way in reaching a whole new audience.
Bring them into Baritone, bring them into Barichain, bring them into crypto in general.
I'm so excited that, you know, as the years go, we continue to see more and more applications
of crypto use case in gaming because, literally for like three years now since I
basically first got into crypto and like really learned what it is and what it entails I've always
thought oh dude this is gonna like make gaming so much better so it's really awesome to see so many projects like helping to expand this
and make it even better. So shout out to all the other Web3 gaming projects out there.
You guys are doing the damn thing. If any of you are listening back to this space

uh, sneak peek teaser. Um, Baritone is in talks with BarraTV. Absolute chads, first of all, the Barra TV team is awesome. Shout out to them. We are cooking
up something really special for the Barra Toners. So if you're not familiar, Barra TV is a streaming
platform. It's very similar to Sanko, if you've heard of that one. And if you haven't, don't worry.
Basically, it's like Twitch, but crypto.
So the cool thing about Barra TV is that when you start streaming there,
right away from your very first stream,
you can receive tips in Barra from your audience.
So if anyone has ever gone down the Twitch rabbit hole, you probably know,
like, it's actually kind of a struggle to first of all, get to the, um, oh, what's the word for it?

And then you get to the affiliate phase and you realize like, damn, bro, I am not really making
that much money. Like you have to grind and get gigantic to make any worthwhile amount of money.
So the fact that on Barrett TV, you can start getting tipped right out the gate is awesome.
To give you guys some reference, I've done two streams on Barra TV so far.
Just playing Oblivion for about an hour or so at a time.

so he does an amazing job and every time I listen to his music I'm just like oh my gosh
so happy so relaxed unless it's like one of the faster tracks that I'm like super hype.
But my favorite ones are the nice, relaxing, chill vibe ones. So yeah, if you didn't hear
the song at the beginning of the space, do yourself a favor and go back and listen to it. It is gongous. That being said, we'll play us out with a couple more of
Eric's incredible tracks for Baritone Game. In the meantime, please have a fantastically wide rest of your wide Barrow Wednesday. Drink plenty of water. Touch some
grass. If the sun is out, go put your face in it for a while. Don't recommend looking directly into
it, but, you know, close your eyes and, like, put your face up in it. Getting at least five to ten
minutes of sunshine every day is just like an absolute game changer for
your health, your wellness. Um, especially if you do in the mornings, by the way, a little life tip
health maxi with icy. Um, if you like within the first 30 minutes of you waking up, you just take
like a five to 10 minute walk outside and get some sunshine on you.
It helps like kickstart your natural circadian rhythm, helps kickstart your metabolism.
It's a mood booster slash regulator. It's just like the sun is good.
And if you live somewhere where the sun is not shining right now,
that's okay too. It just gives you more appreciation for when the sun is out, right? That's how you got to look at life, even if things aren't great in the moment. For
example, if like Bear is down bad, it gives you an appreciation for when Bear is up bigly,
