Thank you. Thank you. I have a prism.
I hope you're doing well.
I've just been chatting to VDK for about an hour.
She said she'd pop along.
That's the way. That is the way.
Just nice to catch up, isn't it?
To make proper friends in this space
as well. How's your Wednesday
Yeah, I can't complain it is uh what a beautiful bitcoin
green bar day you know those are always fun to see i don't know i'd even look at this i think
i got a notification i don't even look at i don't even look at the charts anymore it just like
notifies me when something happens so i was like very excited that's um yeah great to see and orion greenfield
greenfield category so that's a win there's a win right there yeah
validation a big orange all-time high is definitely a win uh definitely a win so um yeah and you know
like it just sort of validation of blockchain and Bitcoin, if not all of crypto.
So, you know, like there's a few people that have parroted a lot about blockchain and Bitcoin,
and I'm kind of happy for them at the moment.
There will be a run and a push at some point of some variety.
Like it's inevitable money moves.
However, will it be what we were all hoping it will be i'm not
so sure um stay tuned for altcoin season no no no no no promises just some fun
yeah um absolutely um let's see oh um we had a orange zelora minted for the zao
um today so that's always good those are like kind of
mints specifically for members of the zao um and yeah to like get them into the midiverse
and learning about technology learning about the crypto side of things so
there's a it's an interesting group like a totally new group of people and they're
It's an interesting group, like a totally new group of people and they're, they're, you know, the age range is very diverse.
So that's, it's good to meet new people and get them going.
Some of them, a few of them live near me, which is really interesting.
Start meeting people on X spaces and then all of a sudden you meet them in real life.
Like have ever, like, yeah, it's like that, you know?
and uh m3 is just oh my god we're at almost 600 unique music audio media files found so
uh and we're starting to get some good feet like solid feedback like oh this music's not
is missing you're like where'd it go and and then we're making sure ThirdWeb gets all the feedback.
And I spent some time yesterday sending them emails, giving them details.
Like there was like an NFT that was missing that's like over a year old.
Like, wait, that's owned by that person.
Your data is not coming back with it.
So just kind of getting the data side of things better.
So yeah, exciting to get that working and you know more music playing it in the car like every day oh so good i love listening to my music nfts in the car it's so good so you've now got the app
working so that it'll connect up to your your digital display if you've got a digital display in a fancy car it won't connect
to my car prism i mean might do through an audio jack but and my phone uh but it won't connect in
in my car any other way than that um that's okay i quite like my car i like the fact that i get
feedback from the car as i'm driving it, I think that's a positive thing personally.
But yes, that's massively exciting.
And it's just little steps like this, isn't it?
It just makes things a little bit more accessible, a little bit more public.
If you can get the data coming back correctly,
you can then make sure that you've got the site, if you want to call it that,
the app working effectively.
But you can't do that unless you've got the data to back up what you want to do it that the app uh working effectively uh but you can't do that unless you've
got the data to back up what you want to do not not long term you can do it based on short-term
feedback but yeah if you don't have those data logs anyway let's come back to hang around so
definitely want to dig into it and i love talking about m3 and i love like you know prompting some
new ideas or helping expand on some of the ideas that have come from the community but i'm like
we've lost vdk she got she got bored of us talking about m3 prism um but i'll invite her back maybe she just
got bored of me like she did just have to listen to me for an hour so um anyway we'll see i've
invited her back to speak hopefully she can come up metal happy wednesday hey guys how's it going
oh no you don't you sound you you don't sound um 100 oh no no i'm actually
had an awesome day um i uh i i hit so i'm i'm getting better sleep i'm getting better rest
but at the same time uh like just in the middle of the day lately i just kind of hit a wall because
i am i do i feel like i'm sitting on top of a rocket, you know, I can only imagine what that anxiety is like, but, um, and I, I've
been so busy this morning. I've been working with the attorneys, um, the attorney, uh, communicating
with someone who's going to really help me kind of take the whole
Axiom message to a whole new level.
I can't really share a whole lot there because these are names that you,
you need permission to say their name or they basically will say adios.
just got some really, really exciting things happening.
And it's kind of exhausting.
So I'm just really tired at the moment.
I'm glad you're here with us.
And I'm glad you're chilling.
And I've got some wins at the top, which I will get into at some point.
And don't feel obliged to share stuff that you're not ready to share i wouldn't expect that from anyone however
i'm more than happy to talk about something that you have got or to talk about something for anyone
as well if anyone i'm talking about you meta right so everyone else is well aware there's a post you
want me to chat about at any point just chuck it in the comments um hopefully vdk can come back up
i have sent another, but we'll
see. We'll see what happens. Yeah, it's been a good day. Jay and I are getting together
at the weekend to properly figure out the details of the pitch deck. So me and Theory,
one of the other team members can work on that for the Squibbles and then we can send it back to Jade to tell the story we want to tell with the pitch deck.
So that's exciting and that's really the next stage in what we do as the Squibbles because without that being refined,
it's going to take us a long time to produce the next three episodes and refine the Colin episode.
There is some refinement happening to the pilot if you were one of the
people that saw it and we're aware that it's going to take us quite a lot of time to do that just
based on everyone being self-employed or using their free time around employment to work on the
squibbles including Jay so it adds some real challenges to the production of this stuff um making the sets even though it's 3d
still got to make sets um and not all of it's 3d you know there's scenery that's got to be designed
and it's all got to tie in together and it's all got to be consistent anyway you don't need to hear
all of our challenges but one of the one of the things that we need to get this moving is investment so that we can pay people to be working full time for us, including hopefully me at some point.
That would be nice. But yeah, you know, we need we need five, four or five people working on this for 40 hours a week to really be able to deliver what we want to in any time frame.
And to do that, we need investment and to get investment, we're going to need a pitch deck.
So that's the win is me tying Jay into sitting down
and him beginning to understand the real importance
of his involvement at the early stage,
even if it's something he doesn't enjoy.
And Jay was just like, we'll talk about it in our weekly meet tonight.
We need a meeting for the pitch deck where that's all we
focus on. Because if we spend an hour talking about that tonight, then we won't talk about
all of the other stuff that needs to be organised and sorted out and prioritised, etc, etc. So
fun times. It's all really fun, but it's, it's a big win. It's a big win. So yeah, that's probably
my biggest win of the day. Oh, it looks like John and VDK have been allowed to come and talk.
Prism, just so you know, the next batch of muffins is cranberry orange.
We're going hard in like two days time. Yeah, exactly.
I've got about two days left of muffins, so that's where we're going. Cranberry orange.
I had cranberries in my flapjacks that I made to take golfing with me in Portugal.
You know you need orange and then...
What? Those are pancakes.
I don't know. Sometimes with nuts or dried fruit in it. Yeah, it's like sweet, compacted oats. Like with, I don't know, sometimes with like nuts or dried fruit in it.
Yeah, it's like a circle of like love.
And then you put stuff on it.
I make it with butter, sugar and honey.
Rather than like golden syrup and a lot of oats.
You know, equal amount of oats.
Golden syrup is an American
because everybody except for me
and Dave right now is from
America. I'm pretty sure it's the UK.
I'm pretty sure it's a Tamellar product.
Is it not? I'm going to check now.
I'm going to go and check. Unless it's been bought out by an American corporation.
Golden syrup is American.
Anyway, let's say hello to John and then we can come back.
We can come back to this.
Just like a Brit to like the clearly inferior product.
No, Canadian versus U.S. Or no, Canadian versus U.S.
Yeah, I think corn syrup is a good analogy for the United States.
It's not quite as dangerous as it seems, but kind of useless and stupid.
Sending maple syrup your way.
a few times I've tried it,
but when you get it bottled
and put in shops they always add
bottled bottled and stop it stop it um when they when they butler when they mass transfer it to
other countries and put it in you know containers and receptacles um they always add stuff don't they and like it's never the the pure product
or very rarely so when we do get maple syrup in the uk it's often not like you know maybe what
you guys would get over there i'd assume or what you'd be able to get from a local producer at the I will add to the maple syrup comments. I had some friends that came to visit our area from Canada and brought me some maple syrup.
And I was like, okay, I get it now.
But I'm trying to figure out how we ended up talking.
I was like, if you're gonna go with the route i figure you might go we're done we're done oh no
no no no no our friends in the u.s they understand there's a difference
i don't think we do because we don't unless we've been to canada
i don't think we do that i know well there's one simple answer here you yeah just check
i was gonna say check the duty before you put a bottle of maple syrup i know i know because
no i'm super tempted uh for anybody that doesn't know
I actually know where Dave lives
I can send him these things
I trust everyone in this room enough
if there's anything you want from the UK
I might send you maple syrup sort it out. I'm tempted now, Dave.
I might send you maple syrup.
sending care packages around the globe.
And I don't think you have to worry
about duties if you're sending
from a friend to a friend.
No, you definitely do yeah
really yeah glad i'm not in jail then well if it's not a duty it'll be called a tariff somewhere
else middle but that's um you know you know you know how it is governments want to take our money
in any form they can this is just another excuse to do it yeah it's it's pretty lame but that's fine i know where dave lives i can send him
maple syrup when i when i do so please um yeah we should we should we should potentially
so i look like prism wanted to jump in when we said we can send stuff like prism like maybe
there was something from the uk prism wanted or. Yeah, I love those. Raise your hand.
There's a candy, but I can't have any of that stuff anymore.
So, yeah, I love the British candy.
Also in Canada, I like some of the candies that they have.
But, damn it, I can't have any of that.
Maybe like a root. Just doctor said no more so yeah
yeah the um what is it oh um roots like the this like sweater and like their um sweatshirts and
stuff they're that's pretty yeah those are fun mrs prism likes that that brand i thought she was canadian for a while
because she only wore like canada stuff so i was like i mean i know she liked hockey she loves
hockey and i was like are you from canada and she's not from canada but it was funny because
she always wore a canada sweater and i was like maybe i need to get you an america sweater so you
can just say america you know what i kind of have a few people
who might make merch and i kind of feel like i want mrs person to wear this
she she's only wearing pudgy penguin stuff lately so you know she's She's jumped down that rabbit hole. Huge, giant
They did, aren't they? BD, 70 pictures.
Mrs. Prism is is gonna rock
the same tease as me of like
you'll get it yeah All that fun jazz. Exactly. John gets it.
I'm going to be fired. I'm not at work. It's actually against the rules for me to make political comments right now.
Well, you can't wear them at work. You can wear them at home.
You're fine. you're fine I literally have a tweet saved
we're not going to get into it
and I went to quote tweet it
and I was like oh I can't do that
okay hold on, save, put over on the side
and when I get home I'll fire it
who did it tell me no stop trying to stop stop it okay stop no no it's not fair on job it's not
fair on i know i don't i don't care i don't care look it's wedstay this isn't this isn't a win none of this is a win
lie we don't want to be drawn down i do have a win though dave go on i do have an actual win
other than orange and cranberry muffins oh orange cranberry is the next to come out
maybe even as early as Friday. Metal.
So we might talk about muffins in your space.
However, I am going to walk in a major mental health walk.
Major thank yous to John and Dave for both contributing.
Many people here have retweeted.
So I am just, I'm beyond the moon.
It's exciting and I've put it at the top.
And I know there's a moment for you to continue the push to support.
Something that's important to you, the hospice-supported mum,
I'd raised money for in the past with various enterprises
because it impacted other people near me.
And obviously we've done the auctions in this space,
the events in this space as well.
So it's a cause that's close to my heart.
But I think I'm going to give it a rest
this year I think like I don't want to personally commit to anything that massive this year I've
done a lot in over the last year few years and it's it's a huge amount um but I'm more than happy
to to support my friends who are doing incredible things uh along way. And, yeah, this is a local mental health charity,
a local mental health charity to the BDK.
It's important to her, and she's raising money for it.
I think you said it was in September, didn't you?
Yeah, my baby sister's birthday.
So guilt tripping her to walk this year if you say peer pressure it sounds a lot nicer
exactly she peer pressured me to be part of all her her wedding shenanigans this year so
i am peer-pressuring her to do this for me.
Metal, your hand went up.
I assume you have a question or something you'd like to ask or contribute.
Actually, I do, but I don't want to completely distract from this topic.
And I just was looking over the walk and everything.
So this is awesome. And I I'm excited and definitely will,
we'll see what I can throw in.
it's something that I have to be honest,
I'm sitting here daydreaming about a lot of stuff and just kind of going
through things and just relaxing to the,
and VDK said something about the Friday show, which totally triggered me
because an opportunity come up today to do a pretty high-end workshop. And this was from
this conversation I had with this influencer person who's going to be helping us, uh, IRL and I'm torn. Um, cause it, it's, it starts a
couple hours before the space and it goes through, through the space. It's actually, it's a, to do
it, it's going to be a big, huge kind of commitment. And I'm wrestling with whether I want to do it
or not, but what, when you mentioned the talking about, uh, talking about things on Friday, it triggered
I apologize for distracting from
this more cooler thing that you were
figure out if we're going to be
here on Friday or not is what I'd say
also just because you've mentioned it a couple
of times, I've shared Axiom's pinned post
I know it's relatively new actually, I thought it was older than that when I read it, but it's from the last few days.
And it's just talking about what Axiom is trying to achieve as an enterprise, as an organisation, give people an overview.
And I'm really excited for the potential that's there, you know, whatever the outcome.
I'm really excited at the potential just to learn and experiment and explore and and try new things metal it's going to be fun yeah i i that's
that's i'm a kid in a candy store right now and and i do i feel like i'm sitting on top of a rocket
but um i do have uh if i can if i can you know stop daydreaming, um, I do have three, um, articles that'll probably
hit this afternoon and we do have our weekly live stream now tomorrow. Um, and I'm thinking
about bumping that up to 3 PM EST. Um, is that right? Yeah. That would start in approximately half an hour.
I don't know if that would work for you.
I don't know if you were thinking about joining me or not.
But I'm, and I'll hit you up later.
See, this is the whole, this is the gears are just kind of grinding inside my head right now. Um, but you know what,
I'm finally to the point where I wake up, I wake up and I, and I'm like excited. I'm not feeling
overwhelmed or stressed out or, you know, worried about putting out fires, even though I've had to
do that. But, uh, anyway, um, so yeah, we got our live stream tomorrow. I will have a few little
articles going up this afternoon and uh yeah
just two steps forward and if that was your permission i don't know i i'm i'm really thinking
i'm i don't know i don't know if i'm gonna do the the um workshop yet i've got to make that
decision if i make that decision of course it'll it'll change things for friday and i'll let you
only my permission we're so we're doing this because we want to and because we enjoy it and
we still get to connect with friends and good people at least that's why i hope we're still
doing this i mean after three and a half years god knows why we're still doing it if we're not
doing it for that reason um but yeah i find it forward to pay any of you i appreciate you uh
just being here and hanging around i do want to to mention Web3 Candy quickly. I don't know. I don't know if you heard her speak on Monday VDK.
I know the rest of us caught what she was saying, but I've got a pinned post actually, or I've got a bookmarked post.
But she's created an app for a hackathon that's about finance and supporting children through the
journey and parents and uh i still haven't watched the video and i said i was going to so this is
kind of a a reminder to self as much as anything else but yeah i found it interesting and we had a
cracking discussion about it and i wanted to share it we lost sketch light which is a little
bit frustrating because i had a post at the top up there,
but I know she's at work, so she might be back.
But Links by Art and the Super community
have done just some really good stuff so far this year,
back end of last year, and they kind of set up.
And I'm really excited for what they're doing,
and you should spend some time looking into what they're doing.
If you like art and you want to support artists in this space,
they're just updating people, different communities,
working with a lot of different people.
The next post at the top is from a little Neji.
I don't know if that's how I say his name or not,
but someone I've connected with over a period of time.
And I'm trying to share a couple of artist posts at the top on Wednesdays because it's what attracted most of us to the NFT space.
At least I believe it is. And I've got a few of his pieces and I like this guy.
And he's always positive on X and that, you know, it's difficult to use the word affordable.
But 0.0035 ETH isn't a lot of eth um
so you know if you're interested if you like good people i think he's a good person
um check it out uh then luke luke is i don't i think a lot of people refer to him as a gaming
kol but i think he's more than that um and I don't think he's all about the the sort of KOL metrics
that we see in this space he's working with medieval empires and you'll see a lot of posts
about that but he put together a thread about Fortnite and how it started off as a tower
defense game which I never knew I saw you like the reply in that actually prism but it was an
interesting it's an interesting article.
And again, he's someone I've connected with over a period of time
and someone that I think wants to help the space.
So if you haven't connected with Duke,
and you are interested in gaming and the Web3 gaming aspect of things,
then he's worth a follow uh for sure and that article's
worth a read um taco tribe stuff uh half price tacos up to two-thirds minted uh which is awesome
but yeah go get some half price tacos who doesn't love a half price taco like everyone loves a full
price taco so uh but yeah no it's a 12 pile which is not a lot at the moment. I think it's like $3, something like that.
And there's a nice reward structure.
And the reason it's half price and the reason it's being pushed is Ryan does monthly airdrops.
And there's different categories.
So you get a different amount of airdrops depending how many tacos you hold.
And this is an opportunity for people that are either you know
the first airdrop or only have one taco and don't get an airdrop uh to to try and get to the next
level so they can get more of the airdrops and uh there's a little sort of series coming out
tiny tacos mini tacos i can't remember which one he wants to name them but yeah it's uh like almost
like minimalistic taco art, but it's awesome.
I will give the team, the people that have seen them,
And yeah, he's going to be releasing them
from whatever day this sale ends.
So check that out, get some half-priced tacos.
Powerful post from Rainbow Moshe.
If you don't know Rainbow Moshe, you really should.
But yeah, powerful good morning post from her the other day um you know something very much after my own heart and something that
i'm feeling a lot of what she said at the moment as well so it it resonated which is why i've got
it up the top um and mind soul meditations and vans have been working together on an open call
and i can't i don't know the details I don't know all the details I'm not
going to talk about it but there's a post at the top and I know we're doing a women in tech
base space next actually web3 can if you're not part of the women in tech community you you you
really should um join up there's a lot of a lot of incredible uh women doing lots of amazing things in there and regular events.
And Vans does a lot, but there's an annual showcase
and there's a lot of other stuff happening in and around that community as well.
So maybe you're aware of it already, and I'm preaching to the choir.
But yes, Vans is going to be hosting,
or will be hosting a Women in Tech Wednesday next week.
And I'm sure we'll talk about that open call above for Mindset Meditations.
Whether the events happened or not, Vans will have a lot more information.
And then we're back to VDK's post, which is her charity post.
So I don't know. Is there anything else?
Because we kind of abruptly moved on from that, VDK.
And I just kind of realized I did that. Is there anything else you wanted we kind of abruptly moved on from that BDK, and I just kind of realized I did that.
Is there anything else you wanted to say about it as we've got background to it?
And that was my fault, Dave, not yours.
I can comfortably own that.
It was me that didn't come back to it.
I should take responsibility.
We were talking about Accountability Mondays
and how unsuccessful they'd be.
It'd just be like me and a couple of you guys
just being like, yeah, I sucked at that.
VDK, did you want to say anything else about
because I think we moved on
a little abruptly from it earlier on
give some love to that post.
If you are John or Dave, huge love. You know what you did.
Oh, thank you. You heard her. Go do what she told you to do.
If you haven't already shown that post in love, go do it.
Is that Hermes we've got?
It's getting to that point on Wednesday already.
Did anybody see that I flustered, Dave?
Which post am I showing love to?
I need to go do that now.
Go to my BDK pin post. BDKs. BDKs.
So basically she's saying to disregard the rest and just focus on that.
The rest I'll disregard just per your instructions.
Yeah, don't feel bad, BDK you yeah don't don't feel bad bdk don't nothing i don't i know hermes is joking and yes i am walking for mental health which i know affects myself many others in web3 um i am walking specifically for a program that helped me with free
uh therapy also my daughter spent a week in crisis mode mental health um in uh in this program so this speaks close to home for me
so i am walking for my daughter for me for everybody here in web3
it's an awesome thing to be doing and again if we can help in in any little way um then it makes
a difference and you know say this for for anyone that's doing any form of charitable event or
supporting a good cause in in whatever way they're able like it makes a difference you can't donate
spend a moment of your time give it a like give it a retweet share it with some other friends like
spread the word like it doesn't it anything you can do is having run events. And I assume a lot of people that are running charity
events are similar to me. Like they appreciate any help they can get in whatever form it is,
especially when it comes to visibility, exposure, getting seen and getting in front of new people like you can't buy the kind of help
that that word of mouth can can offer for for people like us and people in our kind of community
so keep shouting about it vdk um and you might need to go to a couple of other places to get
some more people to hear about it but you know keep shouting about it uh it's important go on john
vdk you're walking for everyone because mental health affects everyone because it's health
their health, mental and otherwise. And I just think it's important to say it. I know you
um there is there's no one that is immune from that from having to maintain their health mental and otherwise and um i just think it's important to say it i know you
I just want to say it. And then briefly to go back and be a little bit selfish,
that open call was awesome because I was selected. Okay, so you know they have good taste.
And the video is actually really well done. It's nice. It's calming.
The narrator has a very lovely voice and a very professional delivery.
So just if you want a moment of peace, it's worth clicking on that video and just sort of sitting down and letting it flow over you,
look at the pretty pictures,
and just enjoy that there are people who are trying to do good.
And I shared the artwork that you shared in the comments, John.
That captured my attention.
Interesting juxtaposition of light in that image as well and how it affects how you're
And I reckon you could look at that several times
and feel differently each time you looked at it quite easily.
I'm glad I get to do it now, but it's not new.
It's just the power of a visual image.
It's just hard to actually define.
And, you know, I captured a sunset the other night that seems to have captured other people's attention, having shared a few different images of it as well.
So it's nice when you're able to do that.
And thank you for sharing that.
Hermit, again, just kind of skipped over you.
BDK, I will come back to you, I promise.
But we're just like, go like this post. Go do stuff um you left a bit of a cryptic post in the comments is that something
you want to talk about or you want to want to let us in on some more details is there anything else
tonight i'm going to keep it cryptic uh it's a web2 musician that we've been in dms with but
nothing is even close so i don't want to pretend that it is. And I did what VDK said, so I'm clear
and I'm not going to get booted from the speaker panel because of that. And James is in my DMs
sending me things about dinner. So I don't know what to make of all of this, except I appreciate
the mic and I retweeted it. So I don't need any nasty DMs from any of VDK's accounts on any platform.
So I'll leave it at that.
I'm just kind of here for the convo.
And now Metal's going to come in and explain that it was me that brought up dinner.
But technically, it was him because he talked about cooking.
And we'll figure that out in a second, I'm sure, Dave.
But enough with the cryptic messaging.
just do emojis for a minute
and I will still love you so don't don't even it's all good i'm just joking
i know i know so dave is doing emojis we'll be back dave how's it feel to be old now
back dave how's it feel to be old now i'm not not old i'm not i mean my knees felt old for a long
time but um i'm not old i'm as old as i feel and i don't feel that old unless you're talking
specifically about my left knee but that's another story i was in a space the other day and they were
making fun of a 50 year old guy that hadn't done anything uh with gaming since atari and i had to
jump up and say i resemble that comment and stop talking about
experience of gaming was playing
Nintendo get it, don't they?
If you want a blueprint on what to do,
just look at anything Nintendo have done.
Yeah, pretty good starting point.
what's the next sort of meta-riding news
there's not a lot that you can kind of say right now? be clear i didn't sign up for an ama so i don't know where
this is going but um i'm just kidding uh there's a lot that's happening we we wanted to announce
something about 10 days ago um we've hinted at it a couple of times in tweets, but we, I, man, I almost said something
It's close and it's, it, it's close.
That's all I can really say.
Gray area 101 right here, but, um, it's, it's, we're finalizing it today.
Um, we're hoping that we can announce it tomorrow.
Uh, it's kind of a segue to get us to next month we're also close to announcing the partner with
that we inked the deal with a couple of weeks ago but we want to make sure that that is all
um close before we announce we're probably gonna announce without a date um yeah so there's, there's a lot. I just, um, trying to choose my words carefully, but I,
there's so, Dave, I'll say it like this. There are a lot of, sorry to interrupt. There are a lot of
people that are hyper-focused on our Rogue Bunny 613 mint. Um, I would argue that that is one of
five plays that we'll have coming in the next three to four weeks. So there's a lot of stuff
that's being built and worked on that will kind of be announced in stages and then also dropped
in stages. So a lot of stuff is happening, but we're making sure that at least for this next
announcement, it's a little bit different of a build, which moves our subcontracts a little bit differently.
And we want to make sure that we're good to go with Crossman.
And once we are, that'll be announced and most likely launched when we announce.
So I'm stressing to people to pay attention, but yeah,
that's about all I can say, but there are five things that are coming.
And we'll know in the next day or two kind of the
timeline on how they're going to be announced and when.
I didn't even have to work that hard
to get you to nearly slip that one.
Yeah, I know. Sometimes you've really
got to put in the effort and the hard yards
to get... Anyway, anyway. No, I'm going to stop. I'm going to stop. I promise. Sometimes you've really got to put in the effort and the hard yards to get it.
Anyway, anyway. No, I'm going to stop. I'm going to stop, I promise.
I shared the Rogue Bunnies update post.
I thought that was probably the most applicable post to share for you looking through your recent feed.
It's right up there with Binnie and the Jets.
Yes. That is an old person joke, so I got it.
Look, don't phrase it that way.
I do want to say, just quickly, because we've got Tricky up here.
Before we move on to Tricky, I do want to celebrate a big win with the Squimmels.
I don't know if you saw it.
Jay annoyingly found it last Thursday, but 71.1 million gif views what the hell what's that all about um absolutely nuts the the people
are gonna people are gonna recognize the squibbles before like when they see it for the first time
they're gonna be like i know this um and it's gonna come from things like that like it's just
insane and i I would say Collins
probably the vast majority of them as well so yeah massively exciting that we've been able to
to even run numbers like that without the the product that we want to release so
yeah massive massive win and I wanted to to share it whilst I remembered and I think there's only
64 GIFs on Giphy as well, which is even more intense.
So, like, I think a couple of them have been seen close to 10 million times.
It's just, like, just baffling numbers.
But something that Jay deserves, the Squibbles deserve, and it's validation and also sort of verification as well at the same time, you know.
Takes it into proof of concept.
And if people are resonating with the characters in GIF form, they're going to resonate with them when they're on a screen in front of them as well.
And that's an exciting thing to think about.
I want to say hello to Tricky as well.
It's nice to have you back with us, Tricky.
Sorry, I couldn't be more.
And I'm not going to be able to be tonight either.
I've got a meeting after this space
for the scribbles, funnily enough.
But yeah, I hope your spaces went well on Monday
and hopefully I'll be able to come and spend some
actual time in one of them soon.
It's Tricky Buddha from DeFi Space Donkeys
Get yourself a bag of weed.
Sponsored by the Weed Coin, working with them.
Also sponsored by CryptoFam Radio.
EAC and Krem has also pitched in to get me to NFT NYC.
I just wanted to celebrate that win with you guys.
I'm also in an upcoming track to be released in 18 days
episode 1000 for DigiJoints.
I'm not going to say anything else.
That's going to be cool. I've heard it so far.
I've got a couple snippets in that track.
I'm super bullish. Super pumped about that. I've also got this coffee collab coming in. I should be here in the space too uh that are on the track so i'm like i'm super bullish super pumped
about that also got this coffee collab coming in i should be here in the next couple weeks
um and then i'm gonna i also got my tea coming in um i bulk ordered most of the ingredients in
like organic and uh yeah i ordered like 800 dollars worth of tea i got like 40 pounds of
tea coming in so i'll be i'll be uh pushing that roll forward and um i I got like 40 pounds of tea coming in. So I'll be, I'll be pushing that
forward. And, um, I've got the recipe kind of all dialed in. So this is the year for the liquids
in a glass bottle. And, uh, yeah, I'm hoping I can use some contacts at 7-Eleven and this other
little place called Walmart to help me, uh, help me get some extra coverage. I got some hookups
in Texas and the UK for, for both of those. So it's going to be interesting.
Some really cool things are happening this year.
I'm just, I am fucking pumped.
Good to see MetaRides in the building.
As seen in Forbes magazine.
I see we got candy in the house.
I'll be staying with candy for some of the days in New York.
Yeah, rocking around with like Chiba King. And we got a proposal we're putting out for a little nouns
So if they accept that proposal and it'll be me hurricane easy
And Zal all going and and rocking it out in the house together
So man fingers crossed we got some big plays coming up and I'm in this current issue of crypto magazine
You can see my PFP in this current issue.
They started printing again.
And we have a book collaboration.
And yeah, it's finally happening.
They were waiting for the printers to run back up because they had some contractual obligations.
That kind of messed them up.
But yeah, man, lots of things coming, dude.
That's like the tip of it, right?
I got 12 Twitter accounts I'm handling now,
like over 1.5, 1.6 million followers across all of them.
I've been on the weed team for like two and a half, three weeks,
and we're up like 38% since I joined the team.
So I'm going to be pushing this shit hard.
It's some alpha for you go check out that that weed coin
um i can put it up top if you want get you in yeah no try try try try at the top if you can
hear me it's got time crashing on me yeah it's only like a 300 and something thousand market cap
uh still um but when i got in like two three weeks ago it was um about a quarter mil so we're doing we're
making some moves and i got like 40 of the supply for rewards so i'm gonna be doing some cool things
with the for the community just to kind of get people engaged and that's a huge chunk of of
money for for the fam so yeah man feeling good man feeling great lots of awesome stuff lots of awesome stuff nftm i see they um
they spawned they offered to sponsor jade to i can't remember how much but it would have covered
a big chunk of the costs of getting to new york you just can't because of family commitments and
and other stuff going but uh he did a random little song with the one hub nft stuff that you
could do and just sent it to to them they kind, they really enjoyed it and they've got behind it.
I don't know what work he shared.
I'm going to ask him tonight.
I'm going to be annoyed if it's not a version of Colin.
I'm going to shout at him.
But yeah, no, there's loads of people there, Tricky.
You might be tasked with getting photos for all of the people that can't make it.
Because I think there's quite a few
people that went last year that you know uh and or the year before as well and they're just they're
not they're not quite in a position to go back for whatever reason so I think you're seeing a lot of
selected artists that can't make it this year which is it's one of those things I guess um so
the people that are there are going to be are going to be doing some hard hard yards uh for the people that can't make it and their communities and the people in
their communities that can't make it and um we've been here for a while now so we all know a lot of
people that are nft nyc uh including john um so he didn't realize he was at nft nyc for a moment
or two but that's another story uh we'll let him share that story with you at some point when he's
ready. Go on, Mel. Sorry.
my hand down because if you were going to talk about
going to have to step down
here. I just wanted to say thanks
just some down time and some chill time and
and uh i always get it here so i appreciate you guys and nice to kind of i i know i think i've
been in rooms with you before tricky but uh nice to kind of hear really kind of hear from you and
look forward to kind of following what you're doing so So I'm going to step down and listen, but I might actually fall asleep.
I might do it like a 15 minute,
20 minute power nap or something.
It's the opposite of helpful.
Yeah, I'm having so much fun doing doing everything that that's
like happening right now i can't believe uh you know how many things are just working out it's
like the last year has been so much more effective and productive than the last three
it's it's mind-boggling enjoy them enjoy them like because you know these some of these
opportunities might not last as long as you'd hoped.
So enjoy and maximise and have fun with it whilst you're doing it.
Don't make it a stressful experience.
That's my number one recommendation.
And fingers crossed it lasts all the way through to the next run. And you're able to grow from there with some of these opportunities
that you've managed to get.
But yes, enjoy them whilst they last uh web3 candy i did send you another invite if you if you're busy it's not convenient don't worry about it um i'm sure we'll catch up soon and i
definitely want to want to keep updated with your app i also want to go back to prism and just sort
of dig into m3 and then we'll go a little round robin around the room and unless we've got new
speakers we'll probably call it there.
Because then I've got a chance to do a couple of bits before I have my meeting with Jay.
Oh, sorry, Prism, before we go to M3, it looks like Web3 Candy's made it.
Of course, as soon as I requested, then I hit a dead spot in my house.
I swear these dead spots keep
getting larger and it's driving me crazy. But I just wanted to say, Tricky, and to
everybody in the room, I am a little nouns so I'm gonna go vote on that and
somebody else said they had a little nouns proposal up in this space. But just
FYI, I'm gonna try to figure out how to get my little noun on my shoulder here in the PFP at some point.
So if anybody has any little nouns proposals that they want support on, you can just hit me up anytime.
Yes, I'm going to go do that.
But yeah, thank you so much.
And it's great seeing everybody here.
Thank you for jumping up.
And I don't know what is this?
Is this a project, a DAO?
Yeah, Little Nance is a DAO.
It's like a DAO system. and you can submit proposals for different things,
and then they vote, and if everything's looking good
and you get the right votes, that's it.
It's approved, and they fund you.
So it's like a grant funding accelerator opportunity type thing.
Sorry, I got a phone call.
There's a couple people that have Little Nouns.
Yeah, it's like a DAO. Well well they used to be just nouns dow and um then they split off into
little nouns and nouns and then now they have more they have base nouns and farcaster nouns
and all sorts of nouns um but basically every day there's a timed auction.
Big nouns will do like one, I think, a day, one auction a day.
But like little nouns are every 15 minutes they auction off a new little noun.
And they have a minimum for the auction, but then they can go higher.
But all the money that's made from that goes in their treasury.
little nouns then you can vote but um they do have it set up pretty well to where you can't
buy the noun and then go vote in the project um so you i've had my little nouns here for a little
while actually zahl bought it for me um and uh i've had it for like over a month now. So like,
I'll be able to vote cause I've held it long enough. Um, but yeah, basically that's what
they do is the money goes in there and they vote and then they send you the money, uh, for your
project. But I will say one thing about them is that like, you know, they're giving away like
really good, really good grant money,
money you can actually do things with, which is hard to do and also just kind of surprising to see.
But then they have a site called Flows.
I don't know if anybody else knows what the back end is,
but that has a lot of other projects.
They help out a lot of creators, musicians,
people in other countries and lots of stuff. so yeah they're a good project thanks thanks for the thanks for the introduction to nouns and all of the sub noun dals as well i
guess um i definitely want to go and check it out and have a look even part of the part of the
reformation of axion is is about making it you know very doubt based and all the
decision making running through a community process so the more examples there are to to
see if how people are doing that the the better informed will be as we propose stuff to to the
community so no definitely very interesting and if you're looking for funding for something, I guess it's a good place to have a look into.
Like you say, they're offering funding, they're letting proposals go through their system.
And why not check out what they're offering, what their stipulations, rules are, whatever we want to call it.
And are you going to be able to submit your allowance app as a proposal as well?
Or are you keeping that very much focused on just an hackathon for now?
So nouns, you know those little square glasses, the square sunglasses you see everywhere,
like on the PFPs and kind of floating around? Those are the noggles and that's the nouns.
kind of floating around those are the noggles and that's the nouns so all those square looking
kind of pixelized sunglasses that you see people put on it or stuff so everything you do
incorporates the nouns so if you're like you know look just somebody gave me this example so i'll
just use this one if you want to launch a noun skate park, and you've got
like the nouns, noggles, you know, branded all over the skate park and like whatever, like that's
an example or like they funded for East Denver, the Zao and One Love Art Dao and Creatress and
Atabody and Clay Jean, they funded the ethereal raps, they called it.
And it was basically like a concert and live music and things like that.
But then they had like the noggles and they're representing the noun.
So everything you do just has to help kind of with their branding.
But their branding is so much fun because it's sunglasses.
So like everybody can do them.
It's great actually too like even for
um for your project and then like uh you know the uh was a whisper whisk whiskeys whisper the
um whispers whiskey i don't know i can't say it even if i got it right as a tongue twister
but um the gentleman with the uh the with the child that in the
nft project we talked about the one space um like it could be anything like you know and they like
to support like good wholesome stuff they don't go for like the flashy things but um yeah it's
the noggles and that well thank you very much and definitely i say definitely something i want to i
want to have a look at um i also just as i wanted to dive into some of the M3 things, Prism, that you've been working on that have been suggested by the community and what you're looking to implement.
Because I know that's changed since Monday because you're doing this very publicly, at least with people that hold midi-punk NFTs of some variety or another.
old midi punk nfts of some variety or another yes hi hello hello sorry i was chewing on some food
no it's nothing wrong with that i that's the only way i can do this i think uh it's middle
of the day here so um happy wednesday for everybody oh my gosh just amazing wins and
i mean the nouns is really interesting i was i mean i'm just gonna go a little bit with
i i have been kind of researching it i think nouns.wtf is their third domain which i thought
was hilarious um so i was gonna say like we need a verbs.wtf too, to go along with the nouns and maybe some,
no, I don't know. Run music. Listen, we need listen, listen.wtf. There we go.
And yeah, so I've been working on the M3 music player and yeah, really excited.
Yeah. I got really organized this last weekend to kind of like get all the feedback in one place.
And yeah, so it was, we kind of had, we're in an alpha, I would say we're kind of an alpha state because it is definitely not a finished product.
But it's like enough is working to actually like collect the music nfts into one place um so you can
actually see all of your music it like creates a playlist based on all the music that's found and
then uh just making sure that that works like the best with you know kind of kind of the web just
basic web um i wouldn't say basic but maybe the just just all the music capabilities the web offers, whether that's like using the media buttons on your keyboard, like simple, like just good usability.
We've been kind of improving that.
So I'm on my phone and I'm able to see it on the lock screen the the cover art and going back and
forth as well as like in the car shows the same thing and so that's pretty exciting that that's
that's all kind of working and yeah there's uh um i was working on this week it's uh working on
you know making sure support artists uh that are collectors that are trying to alpha test it with us and sometimes music
nft is missing uh so kind of like trigger you know going through those issues and seeing what
what is actually cause you know what causes that sometimes that's like just the data is out of sync
or um blockchain data you know like old history like really some of these music you know these
wallets have been around a long time so they may have had music nfts for like over a year which is incredible
like we have some so we're like bringing life back to these nfts that have been stuck in a wallet
uh with you know with all the other with everything else um all of your other nfts and
now we can just actually make it a really beautiful music player and um i actually
want to i personally want to collect more music nfts because i'm like yeah i can i can get it
working and so and then i'm working on like how do we sync it up so like okay we do a scan one time
and then we're like well that's great but then how do we get the more right or sometimes we get it
wrong um like it's meat it's really a media player right now so it can
actually play podcasts and stories i think i have a mumswell story in there that uh tells me about
christmas holidays and that's always that's fun but you know like in the middle you're in a jam
session and then all of a sudden a holiday song or a holiday story starts playing it's kind of
yeah like detours the but it's okay because now we have the fast
forward backward button so just just quick just just quickly before we get distracted i forget
about this point how much does it like cost you to to do a search like what's the cost to m3 for
that is it prohibitive if i don't know 10 000 searches were being done a day yeah so um we have some we're really lucky uh we have third
web who's really i mean they have a very generous uh free tier and i think we haven't hit any of the
limits on the free tier yet um i'm really that you know like it takes a few minutes to scan so
the minutes are really to make sure that we can like correctly pace um so we don't
get charged like there there are certain limits that they have on us so yeah like uh mostly the
host the costs are really around the hosting of the site um the most of the uh content is coming
from decentralized services like areWEA and IPFS.
So I'm not doing what OpenSea, where they copy the files to their servers.
I'm just taking it as it is, which is there's some risk in that. Sometimes the files are not always the best quality from those original sources,
but it's, I mean, we are using a content delivery network,
so it should be pretty fast.
I think when it's an MP4 file and you're just like, I want audio,
sometimes there's a little bit of a delay.
But yeah, it's pretty economical to run it so far.
Yeah, something I pretty economical to run it so far. Yeah, it's something I'm definitely monitoring, though.
Well, if you want to do regular updates,
then you just create some form of narrative within the app
that encourages people to do that,
some form of incentive and reward, right?
It could be as simple as an achievement, a streak.
Like, go in and get a badge
and i'm five days ten days a month 50 days you know that kind of stuff but there's some real
i say simple i know that devs a lot harder than i suggest it is a lot of the time it won't be soon
because you know ai but right now it's still a lot harder than than i suggest it is and um i get it but yeah they're they're the ways right like it's
you've got to motivate the people that are using your system to come back and use your system
um and there's you know not saying that needs to be a financial reward it doesn't at all
sometimes it can be recognition sometimes it can be choice sometimes it can be just that little
dopamine hit of getting a badge like there's all sorts of ways of doing it and keeping it fresh.
We've spoken about them regarding other stuff, Prism.
So, you know, yeah, I know my thoughts on all of it.
But yeah, I think that's if you want people to do, if you want it to be manual,
that's what you need to do.
The other option is every time someone logs in with their wallet,
you do, you do it, you start a new background search and it just
then like you prompt a refresh after it's done that so uh you warn them that there might be a
refresh in the first couple of songs or something oh yeah yeah i agree um so yeah there's i mean
there's multiple things there um and thankfully they're actually i'm going to shout out third
web again they do have a pretty um thisight product they have has been very good.
So if you are a builder and you're looking at blockchain data, you want to get notified when something happens on chain,
they actually have like a webhook service so you can actually get notified.
I mean, you can also write your own RPC note, have your own RPC note and run it.
You can also write your own RPC node, have your own RPC node and run it.
But Insight is sort of like kind of the Web 2-ish or like these traditional web technologies that are just like have been amazing.
Web hooks and API services that are just like that's kind of how we write.
Most of us write out web applications.
We don't have the infrastructure to set up a whole RPC node and run all of that.
So, yeah, it's pretty awesome to see that.
And, yeah, I would say it's, you know, we have some ideas for how to just always have it fresh and even push back to like have push notifications.
So you can know that it, you know, something came in your wallet after you like a new music file is now added my goal is actually to make it so that you
could go from you know new music nft that you just purchased and it really doesn't matter where
just anywhere on the chain that's supported and then within two minutes have it playing on alexa
like i think we can get it even faster
but i think two to five minutes is sort of my like that's the base goal because that but i think we
have some great chains now that they're the time for like transactions to finish and get you know
uh and then the index services are like really like milliseconds so it's it's going to be possible to just be able to like purchase
and and play right purchase and listen and i think that's uh that's a huge i mean that's that's one of
the goals uh but not the purchase part first it's more about you know uh just getting a great
listening experience first yeah no and i think i think that's listening a listening experience as well is kind of
it's kind of more than that isn't it it's a ui experience it's a ease experience it's a visual
experience as well as an audio one now and there's there's like so much wrapped up into
into what that product looks like on someone's screen somewhere which is how they interact with
it and um i know you're considering all of this prism and it's it's good that you are because
you know when when it's ready it will be a product that's that's fit to challenge um anything else
that's already out there and that's that's what's like really kind of exciting about it for me
is it's especially if you can keep it sort of democratized and and decentralized uh using these services but yeah i think the the key thing that
you said to me and all of that in terms of what you want to achieve is that actually it's going
to be quite easy to encourage your audience your users uh whatever you want to call them
to uh use those wallet updates to whether you do it automatically whether you
encourage them to do it to also encourage more engagement and things like that and get people
using the system the app the dap whatever you want to call it in in different ways there's lots
of opportunities for you to be able to push and do that and it's getting easier and easier by the
day to deliver on these again not necessarily easy
but easier by the day and just to summarize for anyone that isn't aware um and listening later
m3 is a place where you can put your wallet address in and it will find all of your music
nfts in one place without any other stuff there anything that's got an audio file uh will be in
one place for you to view um and look and prism and M3 and Songs of Eden are adding more function all the time.
Prism spoke about the ZaoDAO and the NFT that's available.
If you're in the ZaoDAO, make sure you're checking that out.
I believe it's only available to ZaoDAO members.
I might be corrected on that in a moment, but I don't think I will.
And then the other post, we've just got Songs of Eden in here.
Check out that post from him at the top.
You know, we've done, as a community,
not we, Songs and Prism have pushed a lot of it
via midi punks, if not most of it,
and then done a huge amount of work behind the scenes
But if you're not aware, go join the love song.
Say love in your language.
I've got something for you songs.
We were talking about this the other day,
and I'm just not quite sure how to deliver it to you.
But I've definitely got something, an idea, if nothing else.
But yeah, getting 400 people and a lot of different languages on that song
is something that the minipunks are looking to do,
pushed by songs and prism.
And I assume he's already taking voice notes,
otherwise he wouldn't be putting that post out there.
So all of you guys, make sure you're jumping on it.
Make sure you're sending that love voice note to Songs of Eden.
Speak of the Songs of Eden and he shall appear.
Songs of Eden and he shall appear.
Yeah, what's up? Happy Wednesday.
Happy Wednesdays, my friends.
Just done with the gig here
and just wanted to tune in.
we had this crazy idea to beat
And why not try to make it
I already got, think 7 or 8
people now in a few hours
joining already and the idea is to
make it as short as possible
so basically just say love
one word in your language
I want to make love song puns i really want to but one wasn't coming quick enough like
i could have like worked one in there badly but like you guys don't appreciate my puns enough
anyway like i i they need to be appreciated more for me to keep delivering them um prism
and your hand went up well so i was running all right i'm gonna
i'm gonna give like the uh the disclaimer about uh breaking the record because uh the record is
there and it you know in web 3 records are broken but like yeah in order to like actually get the
guinness record like to actually get the achievement the the guinness label on it uh we have to like
i mean i was looking at this researching it it's a lot of work so yeah like you have to actually
have you know visual evidence and you have to have somebody that confirms that you're in the room
singing the song in that language and you know like so um yeah there's a lot of work there so this is you know like we're not
necessarily going to get the guinness record just just to be clear but we are going to break the
record i'm already defeated i don't think you can do it i don't think we can do it i think you can
present proof of audio from a lot of different people from individual ip address i mean isn't the guinness like a thing isn't that like beer or sorry like is it part of maybe yeah don't call guinness beer you'll get in
trouble yeah yeah well no i mean but like are they like in the uk like maybe you you can you have some
connections there maybe you can like verify that they're in ireland and they're different things
um guinness the alcoholic beverage.
I think it's owned by Diageo now anyway, but that's another story.
There's InBev, Diageo, a few others, and House of Bush,
which you guys will be aware of.
But there's a few massive alcohol companies.
I used to work in an off-license.
But yes, they are different entities, Prism,
and I know it's a lot of work to get yourself in the Guinness Book of World Records.
But I wonder if it's just a little bit like being in the Encyclopedia Britannica, right?
Like, wouldn't you rather be on Wiki? Anyway, VDK, your hand was up first.
I know it's gone down, but I'm going to let you talk and then we'll go to John.
I just wanted to ask Prism, like, who told you which Guinness... Guinness?
I don't care if that's a beer.
The Guinness Book of Records has
What's the Guinness Book of Records
Love. Love. You need to send him love
just to add quick on that
I was listening to a podcast
about marketing and according
to that podcast they had two examples
something that is completely out of
your brand one being Guinness
and they said that it is actually
the beer company because they were lowering
their sales and they thought of something to come up with something to just spread the brand and basically people in bars drinking beer and reading the book. book with good restaurants basically so as far as I know
it's the same companies at least it used
to be back in the 70s or 80s
or whenever they started it
actually get VDK to participate.
We're going to be in record books
skip to Guinness, who cares
if we are the most people on a song
if we google it, who cares
who cared about the Guinness Book of Records
anyway, that's kind of what I think
right, like it like the difference between being
on wiki or in the encyclopedia britannica like most people would rather be on wiki
john i'm sure you want to weigh in on all of this on the other hand um
it feels to me like there's an opportunity here to instead of i understand i'm giving you guys a lot more work i
and i i kind of apologize beforehand but not really what if everyone sent you a video then
you have visual proof of every independent person then you could actually string that together
timing it with the music to make like a really awesome music video with every person's face
and every person who's actually a part of it.
And then you can basically say,
cause I have all the proof I possibly need.
And I don't know what all the thumbs down were for.
that felt like a little bit of pressure.
It's bad enough that my voice is on the record,
I've seen your face a bunch of times.
But no one is going to listen to a song.
Anyway, just some self-consciousness creeping through, John,
which I think will do for a number of people.
But yeah, no, it's a good suggestion.
I didn't mean to interrupt you.
If you've got anything more to add, please do.
And listen, I absolutely get making the other choice
because this is, I have edited video now
But also, VDK, this is the time.
I got all the guys excited in Monday's space, right?
Just when you wake up and you can barely talk
and everyone gets excited because it's a woman whisper with whisper voice and just say love and then they can put that
right at the front and think about look at the reaction you got on monday like it'll just go
right to the moon i said it remember we remember we used to say that all the time like you're gonna
go to the moon and you guys literally went to the moon but like the whole figure that went to the moon but like the whole figure of the moon thing has kind of been stupid so go ahead dbk like actually that was what people meant i i didn't get that seriously you missed the fact I literally
didn't come on because I was like
don't just don't know it is what it is
you can't change it don't be
you can't agree Dave. Don't be ooed. Yeah, it's gross.
or you're agreeing to it.
We talked about assumptive attitudes earlier on.
I reckon that's why you spent most of this
face bullying me, to be fair.
That's so gross all right
never doing that again thank you thanks john thank you welcome i feel so good about my day now
if um no i don't want people feeling uncomfortable even even in jest so apologies if I accidentally made you feel uncomfortable there
VDK and I think we can quickly shift track back to the the song rather than the content as such
and I think Web3Candy might have something to say songs. I was just gonna add it also sounds like
we have an opportunity here to make like an official world record book on the blockchain.
I mean, like there's been what like the Green Hill Collective did a space and they were having trouble verifying the actual world record.
You know, like I feel like we should start an actual verifiable world record book.
You know, just to add to the list of all the other things we're doing.
Who's going to do it, though?
No, I'm not thinking, yeah, that sounds really fun.
And then I'm thinking, when do I have five minutes to just, like, chill on the couch, let alone write a world record book?
I love the idea. I really do.
Maybe something happens just because of this conversation.
I just want to say I'm so happy that I met Candy because just the ideas she's been pouring out of her huge brain the last days here has been crazy.
Right, Prismism all the ideas
she has for everything it's just super good so super happy to have met you just want to say that
then and john yeah i had the same idea with videos but that doesn't seem to be proved enough
for guinness they need some old guy with glasses on the notes notes and a kind of
to kind of see you do it basically but it's a fun idea
but then on the other hand everybody
not want to be doxxed and so forth
bigger hurdle with the Web3
but I don't know it's a great idea
and I love the idea with basically putting all the
putting it together to music video super fun just yeah I think um sorry did you want to
say something okay I guess not no I guess not um and Prism your hands up up. Yes. Well, my focus is Alexa and M3,
so I am not participating in any development
of this record-breaking application.
So it is an open call for any developers
who'd like to help create a verifiable video-based system
Otherwise, I have great ideas for it it too but i don't have any time
well i wonder i wonder how you could you could focus it all on one chain couldn't you and you
could you could you could make it almost like um you can make it almost like proof like a proof
of state blockchain right like and that would be the way to to to have it verifiable at the other end uh and there's definitely there's definitely apps and systems out there that are free
that would give you a head start on this and if you paid for certain subscriptions or even one of
those subscriptions that gives you access to a range of different models i think you'd be able
to get quite far into a build for something like that without a huge amount of expense.
You would then have to think about getting it verified by people
to make sure that it can verify effectively
when it's used by people in the future.
It would need to be some form of human element
if it was being built out by code and being built as a blockchain.
But yeah, there's some interesting potential there.
But again, it's going to be one of those, isn't it?
It's going to be hard work.
The rewards are going to be a long time in the future,
if there are any rewards at all,
other than being recognized as the person that set up the book of records on Chain.
than being recognised as the person that set up the book of records on chain.
So it could end up being a really thankless task at the same time
with limited opportunities for revenue driving or earning potential out of it.
So there's some challenges and hurdles to think of,
but it's exciting in my brain just to even contemplate,
as you can probably tell from the randomness that's coming out of it right now john you put your hand up stop me talking rubbish
no it's just interesting because i think it's a really good example of like
like you're deciding to become obsolete you know what i mean like guinness for all our jokes like
their refusal to cross over to a proof mechanism where they're using things other than old dude in
the room and and songs isn't the first person i've heard this from i listened to podcasts and
tried to break in his records and they struggled too so it's just like i don't understand their
choice me well i do if i run by a bunch of old people but like it's just it's so short-sighted
and it's just it's why we're all here right because we see a future where it's like
none of that old stuff matters we have to adjust to use the tools that are coming and and the
refusal to is just planning your own end i i i don't get it um other fun story songs as far as
like people starting something to like be different and change their brand the people who invented
dynamite started the Nobel Peace Prize.
That's always a fun one I point to.
I perform a lot at the old place
where they started the dynamite.
It's here in Stockholm, actually.
It's a fun idea with the video also
because let's forget about guinness but
it will be proof for those who we always have those people ah you didn't do it it's ai it's
this and that but if we actually have video and for that that could be as easy as just email me
a video where you say love and i can put that together that is super easy but i think the hard
so far the 10 people that sent me uh snippets so far i know at
least half of them are kind of don't want to dox themselves so then we can maybe do an avatar or
something which will kind of make it less uh proof proof that actually happened how about some sort
of wrapped like a wrapped nft that you know like like it's your your your sending of a file is wrapped into the into into a blockchain item somehow?
I don't know. You'll be able to, if not this time, you'll be able to figure out in the future how your participation needs to be done through M3 and your participation through M3 wraps it onto a creator's NFT that offers verifiable existence of people
participating on a song, all coming from different IP addresses and potentially using something like
Polygon ID, not that I'm advocating for Polygon ID, but a similar system to that, that is a
verifiable human system on-chain. Now, there's some easy solutions that take a bit of time to
implement and action, I think.
But yeah, you could you could definitively do something like that and basically make it all on chain without having that much of an impact on people in this space. If it's something that's going out to the broader public, then you just ask for submission in some form of way where you can import it into that.
where you can import it into that um you know like you can import it into whatever system it is that's
then gonna gonna log or register that that person's been on an nft um i'll go to prism and then i'll
come back to you web3 candy just because we're talking about you know what they're doing
you can like let candy go first okay i didn't know whose hand was up either, but go on, Candy. I was just going to say, it sounds like we should get this going real big and then ask WorldCoin app to sponsor and keep making it bigger.
Because they got the built-in verifiability of humans.
They got the built-in verifiability of humans.
I just like I kind of put Sam Altman in that Elon, Bill Gates, you know, like that bracket of people that they say lots of good things, but I'm not certain their intentions always match their words.
But yes, I completely agree.
I think I said that quite diplomatically um but yes uh there's a you know jeff bezos would be included in that as well uh for example
a group of people that say they want to do something for everyone but do they really mean
that anyways um go on prison stop me being distracted and then i'm going to go around
the room and then we're going to wrap this show up because, yeah, I still need a bit of time to prepare as much as I'm
enjoying this conversation.
I need to go and get some stuff ready before I sit down with Jay, otherwise we'll spend
the first 20 minutes figuring out what we're going to talk about.
Anyway, sorry, go on Prism.
No, forgotten what you were saying.
Didn't hear me pass it over.
Something weird happening.
Am I about to get booted from spaces?
I hear you if it makes you feel better.
Yeah, if you've got something to say, John, please go ahead.
Oh, no, I just didn't want you to, you know,
go into Dave panic mode because you couldn't hear voices
and bad things are happening but it looks like maybe prism's ready
yo yo yo sorry i had a phone call
we're back to you if you're ready um yeah so i worried about it. I think it's just fun to have friends jumping on a collab song and get us going.
get us going. If there are frameworks that people have built to help with record setting
that use on-chain blockchain technologies, that's amazing. But maybe this is inspiring that next
round for the next one. I think that's what I'm taking away from today because I did a bunch of research on this and I was like, oh my God, to get a record for this old school Guinness World Record.
I mean, the ones that did the song, I think it was Nepal.
They had this huge studio and it was a beautiful song.
I loved the song that they did um it's about you know the
the world and peace and uh like the earth and how we need to take care of it so beautiful song
i'm like i don't want to beat that record i mean i want to beat them in a different way like we're
gonna just you know have a bunch of friends doing it but at the same time like their song is amazing
so i want people to go listen to that song. It was great for the research
to learn what song is out there and
how did they get so many people to jump on a song. I think that's
inspiring and I think we should be inspired by that
and let's go tell your friends.
whole family on the dang song. So I'm gonna work on that. Yeah. I think it's better to like say
something like that. And like, why are you, what are you talking about? Middie punk and, you know,
insane love and like Hollywood, DJ Hollywood. I don't, we need DJ Hollywood on the song. I don't
know if she's, she's shying away. I heard like, she's not coming into the song. I don't know if she's shying away. I heard she's not coming into the song.
I don't know what's that about. Sorry,
I have to call that out a little bit. I kind of
felt like you're retracting yourself
from the song, and we really are excited
for sure. So you're definitely invited.
Everybody's invited to the song.
We've got to get as many people as possible.
from the hilltops. Let's go.
Or into your recording device and send it to songs.
You know, the Hug Network.
It'd be cool if we did like an open art call with the Hug Network.
Remember when we did that for the Zao Chala, we got so many submissions.
the zaochella we got so many submissions i was gonna say um like i would even like to design a
you know a love just a world and love the word love or something like something cool but i was
gonna say that could also help spread the word too is like the add the art piece in there
i mean if you're gonna do an open call, now that I've put some hurdles to overcome,
I can always check out what Webby Social are doing with their open calls.
And maybe if you wanted to action that idea, you guys know a certain creative owl that would be able to help you set up an open call
with a platform that's, you know, close to a thousand users on it already.
Who see that would probably get involved.
But Prism, your hand went up and then I'm going to go around the room and then i am going to call it
because i've been convincing myself that i'm going to get a rest and now i'm getting worried that i'm
not but go on yeah hopefully we uh lit all these light bulbs um so uh yeah you're not going to be
able to rest for at least an hour after you eat. Make sure you, you know, eat, then, you know, don't rest right away.
I need to say some ideas for the squibbles, President.
You got all these meetings, right?
I haven't had a meeting with you for a while.
So I was a little, I was a little bit like you're squibbled out, man.
You're squibbling out on me.
What was I going to say? Oh, it's about visual artists and music and combining those, you know, collaborating on.
So we really want to work on that with women in tech and how the visual artists and the music can actually be combined and coming up with creative ways to do that.
up with creative ways to do that so if you have ideas um and like even with the love song we
definitely want that's that's like an ongoing project to kind of how do we bring those two
things together and use block on chain tech to kind of unite the you know continue our unite
uniting of the artwork and the music um and listening like that whole trifecta. We've got to get that going. And there's a lot of things coming up.
I was going to say, I think it would be an interesting 35 minutes
of the spaces to listen to, the last 35 minutes, essentially.
I think you re-listen to that and you ideate from it, Prism.
We're losing speakers, so we're going to go around the room
and I'm losing all the speakers.
So, yeah, thank you for coming by, Kimmer's Company company letting me ask you questions and divulging so much about m3
um i'm really here for the build and uh hope i can continue to help in in any way that i can
um songs is there anything else you want to say and then i'm gonna go to john and then maybe bdk
comes back maybe she doesn't uh yeah, a few things, really short.
I think first thing is we will always be questioned,
like we were questioned about did we really bring a song to the moon, and I guess we get questions from everybody every day in some sense,
and I think as long as we know that we did it,
it doesn't really matter if we get some weirdo claiming we didn't do it.
And other than that, I think, yeah, let's try to do it.
I mean, it's no stress for me, so I want to, as far as it's possible, to make it midi punks only.
So that's what I'm going to aim for, to get the 400 people.
So join the community if you didn't already.
I mean, if I want people on the song,
I can make that happen in two days,
going viral on Instagram, which happened on the last song
when I just did a post that went to a few million
and I think I got 300 DMs with people sending me stuff.
So it's easy to get 400 people,
but it's hard to get 400 midi punks,
but that's kind of my goal at least
i didn't expect you to stop randomly i was in the dm songs but yes i think you'll if you open
this up in the public and you drop it on a couple of live streams i mean i jumped on your youtube
live stream yesterday and it was popping off in the chat and stuff like that there's like you know a good sort of 70 80 people watching at
the time and um you know you just keep mentioning it in places like that and it'll get spread far
you just you just need one post that goes slightly viral right you get one post that's seen 5 000
times and then before you know all of a sudden it's seen 15 000 times and at that point you've
got your 500 responses and you're laughing um and at that point you've got your 500
responses and you're laughing um and i'm sure you'll make it happen just like you did with
with the was it the gm so
he's driving isn't he i heard the indicator going i shouldn't have done that
but yeah whichever song it was that you opened up publicly um John, over to you.
Hey, had a great chat. Love you guys. I will send you a video on audio file songs ASAP.
And yeah, I just had a great time. I absolutely enjoy these spaces. You know I do because I work and do them a lot of the time. But yeah, I leave it where i usually leave it which is use our what's called artificial
intelligence with intentionality because we want star trek the next generation not the matrix
just just putting that out there cool everyone have a great one
yeah it's right we should just do a whole little so we should get on and do a mini series about
all of that stuff's, it's changing fast.
And there's nothing we can do about it changing,
but what can we do to make sure the outcomes are as positive as possible
for as many people as possible?
That's something that we can do.
And I talk about, I talk about this, I'm cynical, right?
Everyone's got a problem to solve. It's not normally a problem you're facing. It's normally a problem in their back pocket. But there are actually a lot of problems to solve at the moment. My cynical, my cynicism, cynicism, my cynicism aside, there are genuinely a lot of problems and opportunities at the moment and you've got a choice if you're looking to to fix them on how accessible how affordable uh you make the the potential tools product services
um that we're going to need um so if you're you know we're we're switched on people there's going
to be massive opportunities um in all sorts of fields uh over the coming few years as things
change and they are going to change. We've gone past a
couple of event horizons. We're going to go past a couple more. It's exciting. It's fascinating.
It's scary. A lot of impact is going to happen to a lot of people and it's not all going to be good.
So it's going to need people like us doing what John said, acting with intent, delivering things
that are useful, that are fair, that are democratised and that are accessible.
Someone's got to do it. Why shouldn't it be us?
Anyway, on that self-appraisal moment, you should have a lot of fun and enjoy life as well.
Don't forget that. You don't have to be all that serious all the time.
Do have a wonderful rest of your Wednesday.
We'll possibly be back on Friday
Males hosting, he's supposed to talk about DeFi stuff
but he ends up just going down whatever
track he's thinking of at the time
and then will I be around on Monday?
I think I'm around on Monday, I don't have a topic
so I'm going to go with chill and chat
until I can think out what I want to do
on Mondays and then I will schedule Wednesday space next week before the weekend.
I need to because it's a women in tech one and I actually need to be organized because I'm doing it to support vans, not just doing it because I enjoy it.
Anyways, on that delightful note, like I say, enjoy the rest of your Wednesday.
I will catch you on Friday or Monday, definitely Wednesday, when we do the Women in Tech Spaces.
Take care. Thank you very much.
