Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. songs
friend shout out to Twan what's up Twan I'm good I'm good Nobody was talking about. But, yeah, we know. We know. How are you, my friend?
I'm finding the smiles amongst the insanity songs.
Because there's just, if you're willing to, not even if you're willing to look, it's thrown at us, right?
to look it's thrown at us right i think you posted a little bit about it in a different way
I think you posted a little bit about it in a different way.
um you know like checking for checking for engagements and seeing if things are being
seen and watched and you know there's there's so much of that that we've got to find those
little wins we've got to look for the smiles we've got to got to find the things that make us enjoy
life you know we're we're only here while we're here kind of thing. So, yeah, I'm doing well,
and I'm not sure that came out as positive as I meant it to be.
But, yeah, it was supposed to be a positive comment.
I think it's kind of a mix.
We still need to live for the kind of one second one second economy like gary says which
kind of makes sense but uh yeah sometimes i'm looking too often to like the stats and that is
just a waste of time because they won't go up for due to the fact that I'm looking at them. I realized.
No, it is kind of a thing, isn't it?
Like we can learn from the past and we can plan for the future,
but we're only ever living now.
And I guess, I don't know,
someone randomly reposted a post of mine from the end of 2024
when I was still kind of relatively popular for whatever reason.
And just sort of seeing the numbers on that post compared to what I get now and I in stark like
in contrast or with contrast to seeing your post yesterday so just I just haven't had time to to
reply to to the things that I've seen songs but yeah it just it reminded me of that and it's
But yeah, it just reminded me of that.
I tell you, I talk about stats a lot because I think you can get a lot of information from it.
And there's a lot of understanding that you can get from it.
But I also understand that sort of...
I don't know what the right...
The dopamine hit of seeing numbers going up almost kind of.
Yeah, it's a difficult one.
And when you're self-employed and this is your job and those numbers matter,
I can imagine it becoming even more intense.
Yeah, and it's kind of nice.
We've talked about Spotify before that they just update one once a day, which is kind of imagine all of them doing like you need to go back to X tomorrow to see how a post.
they're adjusting the algo and it seems like they wanted to post articles and good video content
i tried both today i think one got 29 impressions another like 40 or something so there's something
something going on but luckily they perform well at the other platform so just keep on keep on pushing pushing your stuff shout out to prison to come up and tell
us all the secrets vdk oh my god vdk is here to come up she's only just showing up yeah i need
to send her i speak into a closed mic i need to send her a co-host invite um yes uh it's
I need to send her a co-host invite.
Yes, it's got to be authentic and genuine from my perspective
and do what you're going to do.
And if you're trying to promote yourself as a brand
and you're driving revenue and income from that,
then it's important to be visible on all the platforms.
For myself, at the moment, just i use this as a place for sort of
expressing and sharing thoughts as much as anything else it's almost like uh i guess it's a bit like a
journal at times uh but yeah it's it's considered rather than just spewing thoughts but yeah i'm not
i'm not trying to promote anything massively we need to spend some time looking at voice no suck and what we're going to do with the shorts and how we're going to
put some of that stuff together um but yeah it's it is what it is and i think you're making the
right decision in not dedicating too much time to x songs when you're trying to push uh some of the
some of the the creative brand things that you're doing.
Yeah, kind of some, yeah, we talked about it before,
but just the fact that this is the only platform, at least me,
and I think a lot of us is paying for and gives you the least impressions.
Yeah, and about posting, I think it's kind of a combination you need that kind of one second
economy thought to just grab someone's attention for even uh kind of make making the decision to
consume it at all like that is uh it's a it's sad in a way but that's uh the world we're living in
so i think yeah it's kind of necessary or no one will see anything
let's hear from uh miss muffin let's go
also i could totally play on that you know dave just didn't see me but no i
was definitely late the last time I looked at my clock it was
1 52 and I was like oh I have eight more minutes to keep working on what I'm working on
and all of a sudden it was a oh no I'm late so hi
hi happy Wednesday um yeah I hope you're having a day. And I've just shared a load of bookmarks of far more than I thought I was going to share.
So I'm sure at some point I'll get through some of them.
I didn't realise I had quite that many. I thought I'd like five or six.
But there's a few more up there than that.
So and I'm pretty sure I haven't shared everything that I wanted to as well.
Probably because I didn't bookmark it.
But yeah, I might even do a little
bit of cooking whilst we're on this space because I chopped loads of vegetables I did some of it
yesterday but I did loads of veg prep on Sunday evening ready to cook this week and then just
did not have the energy for it on Monday so I kind of need to get going before that veg
goes bad because it's just chopped and sitting in Tupperware in my fridge.
I was waiting for you, yeah.
Well, Song's had his hand up first,
so go ahead, Mel. I can't see that.
I just wanted to share a fun story
that happened five minutes
ago. I just came home and i thought to myself wow
i have two pairs of those shoes and then i realized i walked home from the gym in someone else's
shoes shoes and luckily i got back before this other person realized it, I think at least, because I just switched real fast.
And yeah, now I got two different pair of shoes, not two of the same kind.
That's quite amusing. That has made me smile.
I mean, I'm not sure it's a win for you.
I mean, getting them back in time so the other person wasn't angry, that's a win.
Yeah, yeah. it's a win for you so i mean getting them back in time so the other person wasn't angry that's a win yeah yeah and it was like a little bit like i have 43 and they were i took one off like this
something doesn't feel right and it was a 42 and then oops okay someone got the exact same
shoes but yeah let's get back to the subject just wanted to share today's adventure
Let's get back to the subject.
I just wanted to share today's adventure.
VDK was about to make some comment about all my pre-prepared veg in the fridge, I think.
Well, first I was actually going to, you asked me a question and then you went on some tangents.
And I never answered how my day was going.
I never answered how my day was going, but that's okay.
Your veggies, if you're not going to deal with them or get them cooked in time,
just pop those in the freezer until you can, just so they don't go bad.
Oh, no, I'm like crushing garlic with a knife as we chat.
Yeah, like no, no, it's happening now.
But in answer to your question, I am having a fantastic day.
I'm feeling kind of light on my feet, so to speak, today.
It's been a really good couple days of awesome conversations.
And although there's some stuff that was supposed to go out today and it's not on me to get it done.
And that hasn't happened. I'm just, you know what, it is what it is.
Some amazing things happened as of yesterday on the ORL front.
And I'm just so excited for when I get to start really talking about it all so very excited and there's still
quite a lot of today to go so do you know what I mean especially where you are yeah this is true
I'm just I'm not gonna hold my breath I guess because I don't want to stop breathing um expectation like yeah don't expect yeah that happens amazing if it
doesn't deal with it kind of thing yeah considering how great everything else has been coming along
um if i don't get my way uh today then so be it there's still tomorrow um and uh by friday um if things just don't get done
by the people that are supposed to do them i'm just gonna do it and it's just gonna be done
um but by the end of this week those big announcements will be out and uh i can fully
move forward um openly like and publicly talk about about all the cool things. So I'm just excited.
I'm just feeling, yeah, smiley today. And for the first week in a bit, like, I feel daily,
like, just the moment I'm awake, alert, I've had my, you know, two hours of coffee and not
diving into socials and things like that.
I'm excited to open my laptop again.
And I don't know exactly what's going to happen,
but it's exciting that something is going to happen.
And I think that's the way we've just got to approach these things isn't it and
there's been so many ups and downs in different ways since i've been playing around with nfts and
crypto and the creator community the creative community depending how you want to look at it
and i think because there's so many ideas and so many people and so much,
so much passion, we're always going to get that.
So when you, when you find a way to progress,
when you find a way to move forward, you should,
you really should focus in on the exciting aspects of that and enjoy that
process. So yeah, no, I'm, I'm, I'm,
I'm here for it for EDK and I can't wait to find out what's going to happen.
One win I want to share very quickly before we talk about any wins from songs, other than the shoe story,
is that I managed to get back up to five chin-ups today.
I say chin-ups because my arms were directly above my shoulders, not like out wide, pull-up type style.
But yeah, five of them for the first time in a while
like yeah i was like let's go um so now it's it's doing this it's doing the same again tomorrow
um or in a couple of days um next time i try making sure that my uh my muscles are actually
capable of of doing that regularly rather than rather than dropping back down yeah, that was a win and I wanted to share it.
Songs, do you have any other wins for us other than the shoe story?
Maybe a little observation about what we initially talked about
posting where the attention is, so to say.
Because Prism has been growing like crazy
on something called Nextdoor, and it said you should try to download it.
And I did. There is a version here in Sweden too.
And there was one post in the last six
see them so that was kind
should have asked that question
somewhere else than on the Swedish
The only Swedish language post was has anyone seen my key?
There were no responses to it in six months.
Is that what you're saying?
Yeah, that was the only post in my area
And he dropped his home keys
and decided to ask if someone seen them next door.
You know when you were talking about going back and checking replies and responses and engagement songs?
Imagine if it was a night that you were unable to get into a house and you couldn't contact, mind you, if you have social
media, you'd be able to contact someone and find
a sofa. But yeah, imagine the
constantly checking to see if anyone had found
Yeah, I thought it was pretty
Alexa, stop. my little Alexa stop.
I... Alexa, stop! Echo, stop! I forgot what I named her. Echo, obviously. No, maybe not.
But yeah, my little record label is delivering some good for my moniker piano releases just passing one and a half million
streams in what is it maybe the second week or first one not sure but i guess that's a little
little win even if i'm even more jealous on myself now basically having what is it 180 000
thousand a month of listeners and i'm down at 32,000.
But yeah, it just kind of proves what a big business Spotify actually is.
And there is a huge audience out there for music.
I guess that's both like validating and frustrating at the same time, right? Like it's understanding that that audience is there and that you can tap into it.
But then also having that realisation thrown at you that it's kind of gatekept and that it, you know, it's still a popularity contest in a way within the platform and within the gatekeepers of the platform.
So, yeah, I can understand that it's both kind of exciting and frustrating, like validating and annoying, if that makes sense.
Yeah, yeah. And I think also like some validation in terms of people, just a lot of more instance like basically you can upload
voice note suck i can upload whatever and it's will be live tomorrow but there is actually a
few instances of people going through the music so in a way it's a it's a pretty good thing like
a label just checking the quality before it actually gets placed to those bigger
playlists but yeah the bigger one has like 700 000 followers so they're yeah some big playlists
out there shout out to tricky to tricky buddha from defy space monkey
tricky john ingot uh thank you for for being with us. Feel free to hit that request button.
VDK, before I run through those wins at the top, is there any other wins that you'd like to share?
There's so many I would like to share, but I can't.
Long story short, there are big announcements coming.
There's a big shift coming with the core team on ORL.
And what I've seen in the last 48 hours of what's coming our way has me wanting to dance in the snow.
2026 is going to be an epic year of growth.
We're still going to be game-, Web3 and community building focused,
but we're going to be able to unleash a lot of the cool features we've been having on hold,
just due to the team not being able to get things out this past year.
And I'm just thrilled that, yeah I I'm just super excited
so beg but a little bit of tea in there is that good enough Dave
it was good enough to let me finish chopping my garlic now I've just got to crush it with some starch. Now you have garlic fingers.
Yeah, I'm just making a British version of a bolognese,
which is, I don't know, it's going to be relatively close,
but it's not going to be the Italian, the proper Italian way of doing it, because A, that's a lot of effort, and uh b i don't have a pressure cooker and you really
should be using a pressure cooker if you want to do it quickly and c you're not italian so why why
should you have to do it the italian way because i feel like you know you yeah there's a certain
courtesy and respect giving something a name like i guess it's probably more of like a ragu type
thing that's similar to a bonnet anyway like just just some vegetables some beef mint and some
garlic and a load of tomatoes um but it'll be it'll be nice i'll let it cook all evening i
probably won't eat it tonight um i'll turn it off when i go to bed and then sort it out in the
morning it's not warm enough in my flat for me to be worried about leaving it out overnight um so um yeah it'll be fine it'll be fine uh so yeah that's the plan
that's the plan and then i don't have to worry about letting it cool down before i go to bed
and getting it all in the fridge and all of that rubbish i'll just sort that out in the morning
i feel like i'm being judged i'm sure i'm not but that's how i feel you're not being judged
no you're not being judged tricky welcome
it's tricky buddha from defy space donkeys what's up and good to see you hope you're all having a good day
If you're gonna pop in so songs in here and Dave I gotta always pop in I see prism down there and chunk
It just joins as well. Let's go
Man wins I've I've been dialing in my prompt game
And it's being I have anyone have you seen my prompts they're pinned on my pin on my profile
But you want me to put it like some funny ones up top yeah share whatever you want up top and then i'm going
to go through some of the listeners and put theirs up and then i'll talk about the ones as well cool
so this one is i want i made for shorty tals it's got like some anime she's into pokemon and she
gave me two um nft characters she wanted me to incorporate so check those out though that's that was uh i
made a bunch of them but those four are probably some of the best ones and uh i also made this one
that is me and my wife on the back of a cruise ship if you haven't seen that one it's definitely
a look it's definitely good to see uh all right there you go up top now but yeah i've been having
uh having fun dialing it in.
Subscribers and holders can get one.
It's only two bucks to subscribe,
so it's a pretty good deal for an animation.
As I help perfect my prompt game,
in a month or two, I'll probably release a collection.
That'll be mostly customs,
but I'll have a couple available for public.
But yeah, they'll be really expensive.
So I'm hoping everyone likes their customs
and we just keep the floor at some ridiculous price
until the boom in the market
and someone's like, I want this.
Maybe I'm the next people.
Did you see that one at the top right
I haven't seen it before.
It's fun, it's fun's fun it's fun it's good
it's good it's definitely worth a look uh i mean dude you could spend a long time just looking at
my pin tweet of all these all these different fucking animations i've made way too many uh
grok is like do you want me to condense this prompt so it's less than 2,000 words. I'm writing books, basically, and then asking Grok or Perplexity to format it for one of
I've got like six AI things I'm using right now.
Because Grok is good for small prompts, like under 256 characters.
But if you want larger prompts, then you gotta try some of the
other ones um yeah so i'm doing doing my thing so you know i'll probably buy the professional
version when i want to sell them you know but for right now they're free just give them away
so yeah good to see you guys i'm just gonna chill here and i'm getting some food
but good to be here man hope you all have a great day and stay positive you know but that's the purpose of Wednesdays just to remind us to be positive because it's so easy to
to fall into the trap and like the last couple of the last couple of months of the year every year
just with the like nights getting longer and the days getting shorter in the UK I always struggle
so I'm grateful for this space just to remind me to be positive
sorry go on no that's i mean that's it man don't let those intrusive thoughts win you know the
quicker you interrupt those negative or like intrusive thoughts and and force yourself to
be positive uh the quicker you can you could solidify those neurons and make it the the
deepest trench the the easiest thought to have.
If you do it strong enough, that's just the first way your mind thinks.
So reprogram your brain with that positivity.
I mean, the way I did it is I was always like playing games or online and doing it, my intro, just to be kind of silly.
And I'm so persistent with it.
It's really helped like a lot of my anxiety and depression.
But yeah, man, it's hard to be positive all the time.
You know, if you can get locked into that mode, though, game changer.
Hence all of the hundreds.
One of the things that we're really bad at doing as a nation in the UK is how we greet
people in terms of having a
positive mindset you know someone asks you you know hey how's it going how are you whatever it
happens to be and the the standard reaction is all right not bad it's going you know like they're
like really sort of common reactions for people to have. And I was terrible for it.
When I changed how I approached the world,
that was similar to, you know, your intro, Tricky.
That was one of the things that I would do.
So like, I'd just, I'd tell everyone that I was good.
You know, even when I wasn't,
like I wouldn't let that be the first thing
that came out of my mouth.
And it was really powerful.
And I now need to remember to do it.
It's not the habit that it was.
And I need to change that and reinforce it as a habit again.
Yeah, make those good habits now while you're younger.
Because then you'll just keep them up.
It gets harder as you get older to create check you know create create new patterns and and
yeah change so that's what's up but yeah uh i'm uh i'm really loving like the positivity that i've
kind of burned into my brain it's definitely worth it if i don't come and do my intro on stage like
i get depressed you know it's like three days and i haven't done it i mean i'm not in a good space i
in a good space i gotta try to get out of the house and get onto a space or something
gotta i gotta get out of the house and get onto a space or something
no no i don't yeah that's that's it i i agree and i say that the the the long nights and the
short days really sort of i struggle so yeah this is a great way of keeping me just lie to people
man just be like oh dude i am fucking great man things have just been amazing you know and then
that's gonna like rub off on them um but i that's one of my favorite superpowers is making someone smile from like
across the world or i call like for customer service and like i can tell this lady's like
not feeling great you know she's just probably burnt out from having to be talking to all these
customers and i have her falling out of her chair laughing within like 20 minutes and then i'm like all right have a good day i fixed you bye smiles smiles are amazing they do the world of good and they genuinely
genuinely not generally they genuinely and genuinely make a huge difference and just a
smile to a stranger can have the most random impact on their day.
I always smile at the people I walk past in the morning.
Well, and it's contagious too.
Like if you're negative in your community,
then you end up making other people negative.
But if you're calm and positive, then like everyone else starts to become like calm and positive that interacts
And then people who interact with them are more positive.
So yeah, it's really important to uplift other people sometimes and more than yourself you'll see that vibe and
i mean i'm an empath i totally feed off of others like laughter and good energy
i think i think we all do um and i think that's one of the reasons for like something i would
chat in a little bit about you know being addicted to the dopamine of social
media to seeing the likes to checking the stats to seeing the number and because that's a way
where we can really be like well yeah we're having a positive impact people are liking it
they're interacting with it they're seeing it we we're getting that feedback that we're having a
an impact that we want to so um I mean yes I yes, I'm not trying to, I agree with you. I love having
that, but it's, that's where like some of these things can start to become dangerous is a strong
word for it, but something we should be aware of and not let us lead back into those sort of
darker areas where we're, we're chasing that validation rather than accepting who we are
and being, you know, more than okay with that.
Yeah, that dopamine hit is no joke.
I have a little sheet with like some dopamine tricks.
I'll put it down there in the comments.
There's multiple ways you can treat your dopamine.
Having like a list of things to do, even with easy things, right?
And when you check it off, you get that dopamine hit. So, you know, there's a bunch of little ways you can kind of hack your brain um and kind of get away from just the social you know aspect of like you know that dopamine hit
yeah absolutely let me find it real quick it's just under my my 800 animations
literally check out my pin pose later you'll there's so many under there it's crazy
yeah i'm just gonna take me a minute so i'll just be quiet i mean you've come no no just just just
share it up the top at the moment i've uh got the tweak zine up there which you should all check out
uh um done by chum wizards and some of the other the other tweet community i I think. It's just an art support
I've missed seeing it because
I didn't realise there was an account, so I think
I need to now go and follow that account and make sure
that I'm picking that up.
Prism up here as well. Happy Wednesday, Prism.
I will get to the wins at the top, I swear. It will happen.
It's a game of eventually.
But yeah, happy wins, Dave Prism.
No, now that you've asked.
I'll leave you on next door.
whether you lost your keys.
I lost my keys anybody find them
yeah I've got time for that
so thanks for the warm welcome and hi
tricky i see you i haven't seen you for a while hello how are you bdk is here songs of eden john
or i like i call him dork love sports i still call him that dls okay chum and ignis and tuan hello hello happy wednesday um so yeah um what's been what's the win
well we we're defeating ragnar i think that's the biggest win this month has been a great month for
uh midi vaders so yeah really excited and we have that hidden game somewhere in the somewhere
in on midi punks.com it's been um i don't know even songs that he liked
playing and no eberber said she wanted to play it or something no was it who was it oh no i know who
was somebody said it was eberber said she wanted to play the game but she couldn't find it so i
was like well it's lost you have to find it it. But then it was her birthday, so maybe she didn't want to go find it.
I'm trying to give her little tips on how to find it, but it's tricky.
So, yeah, I'm just – thank you for the smiles.
I love you guys, and I need the positive boost today.
Because I think I talked to the song that I was just like, what is going on with this platform?
But I post something on a local website and local social media called Nextdoor.
And, you know, I get 5,000 views.
I don't know what's going on over here.
Like they don't want to be on this platform
anymore i don't know so we'll see uh hope hopefully uh uncle elon is listening and help hopefully
we'll um getting things straightened out um but uh yeah i don't know what's going on over here but
it was him who lost the keys to the server i don't know that it was uncle elon was over there
next door he was checking it out
in sweden got it okay all right so i've been on other platforms prism i've been like uh trying
to build up my tiktok uh you know yeah yeah yeah because i mean we're clearly not getting enough
attention over here unless you're like a gold check you know they don't give a fuck about you
yeah we i've been actually getting uh on base i've been getting paid i think it was like five
dollars a month like five dollars a week i was like oh there's actually some funds here and i
paying uncle elon for this like what's going on anyway um yeah you kind of wonder you kind of
what makes the things go hmm hmm maybe uh maybe i should unsubscribe i I don't know. Maybe the blue checks are not worth it anymore. I think it depends what you want from the platform.
And if you want analytics, well, then you've got to pay for that alone.
And I'm not paying for analytics on the Voice Night Suck X account,
but I don't mind keeping them on mine.
One thing I would suggest, Prism, like with Twan's a great example.
Twan's in here and we're back on each other's timelines because I saw him in the reply to another post.
And I went and actually communicated and it pushed us back on each other's timelines.
So if you, I would suggest him become a reply guy.
You're becoming a reply guy.
I'm suggesting reply to people that you
care about and want to see in your feed that's what i'm suggesting i agree i agree i think that's
the that's the like the the alpha for the the space the the algorithm is rewarding uh connecting
connection so yeah i like that not i'm not saying go and reply to the NFL account or, you know, like the old reply guy method
of getting five million impressions.
I'm saying if you want to see someone,
we've got to go through and make the time and the effort.
And it was through chance a little bit
that I saw Twan's reply to a de-engineer post.
And I was like, I've seen that guy for ages.
I'm going to go and make sure that i say
something because i know that i'll push him back onto onto my feed um and you have to just do that
occasionally with this platform at the moment it's it's annoying and if you don't if you don't do it
and you accidentally hover over a post from elon or i don't know uh whatever the post happens to be
then all of a sudden that starts filling your feed again.
Like it's still focused on what you spend your attention on.
Like it had that two second count for a long time.
I don't imagine they've got rid of that.
And they always push that in your 4U feed.
The other thing that works for people is lists.
You know, is there a MidiPunks list?
If so, just have your feed
on on the midi punks list prism and then you're only going to see midi punk stuff
yeah i do have a list um and for midi punks we also have the community uh but like all those
things stopped showing up in my feed so it's really strange how that doesn't actually like
you have to no you've got to yeah you've got to select the
list you can't yeah the tricky part is the um i want to see like original posts not repost i want
to see that like and i don't know if they fixed it so i can actually just see your posts like
because i want to like support all the midi punks but then i end up with all the people that are not
midi punks like floating to the top because everybody's reposting somebody else's content.
Uncle Elon, if you're listening,
please give us a feed for our list with original posts,
not reposts, or at least give us the filter.
Like that's been the frustration for me
since some point in early December.
And there's been a couple of times where it's actually been really good to see replies pop up in my feed
because the original content's been something that I'd never have seen otherwise.
But most of the time, certainly, you know, in December, we were seeing replies to people trying to farm stuff.
And the stuff they were replying to was it's just i
don't want that on my feed i never wanted that on my feed like i never asked for that i never went
and visited that content but the person who's responding to it doesn't even care they're just
trying to get impressions because of how you monetize this stupid app like i don't i don't
want to see those posts um so no i definitely feel the
frustration prism but i i you can you can curate it definitely and i it's about making the effort
if you want to curate it to either create a list and deal with some of that reply stuff or to to
just aggressively go out there and and directly communicate with the
people that you want to see on your feed yeah it makes sense i i'm looking at the list right now
and like i don't know if the list view looks like this for you but like when you pin a list
it shows up in some random order and like you have to like unpin lists i guess so that you
sort them so that they're at the beginning i don't know anyway yeah there's there's some things that
need to be i would like i think these are historical things though they've never cleaned
it up so it's just been like just historical is that what was the studio that you like they brought
at the same time like i think that's how you organise those lists and stuff, potentially.
Or maybe you do it on desktop.
You definitely can't do it on your phone.
It has to be done either on desktop or in that stupid studio
that I could never get to grips with,
where you had your different accounts all in the same place.
I did not like that platform at all. at all i just there was nothing nice about it
nothing yeah that one's like the multi-column one and i i've used it yeah i get overwhelmed
immediately like i get some completely overwhelmed and can't like process anything else after that
you're like wait all i'm doing is staring at like columns going up and down and you're like what the heck yeah so it's it's easier to consume a feed a single
feed versus i don't know 20 feeds unless you're a robot i guess then you could set the robot looking
at it i guess to look at content for you i don't know all i do know is that this platform now owns
that platform as well and it's all tied in together and you can still access it and use it but I I get too overwhelmed so I haven't looked at it for a
long time prison no just just no no deal with that cannot deal with that I'm just gonna I'm
just gonna use my phone as and when I can that's that's enough for me occasionally I'll use the
laptop for other accounts.
Do you have any wins you want to share with us before I go into the stuff at the top?
Because after this, I'm going into the stuff at the top.
I was going to share songs.
I don't know if you shared it, but I was going to share songs win.
That was, what did you say, 2 million streams?
So I just wanted to give him kudos for just pushing,
like grinding like crazy.
And then, yeah, I think we'll have more.
I think it's just kind of like this huge amount of work that comes right at the beginning of the year.
So there's a lot of stuff in the pipeline
that hasn't quite made it out yet so i just keep grinding and pushing and um yeah in the background
doing lots of things oh we have uh yeah how the valentine's uh site arcade is live so you can go
take a midi shot with mito uh note ragnar if you want and abby and those are all up on the site moffy you can make some moffy
all kinds of fun content creator you get to create three of those a day so yeah it's so fun
every midi punt can do that so just wanted to throw that out there uh and share it make sure
i'm sharing that because it is fun it's fun content it's really fun to see uh your nft in
the in the coffee that's that's probably the funnest thing.
You can go grab some of the coffees.
I think we have the moon song coming up being at one year.
I think it's a little bit over almost less than 40 days.
We're less than 40 days away.
Maybe I need to start doing countdown content for that
because that was pretty monumental that we landed on the moon.
And we'll probably need to celebrate that a bit.
That was already just a huge win.
I'm just excited that we did it.
We launched successfully a year ago.
And now we're traveling in space a year ago and we're about to go to the moon.
Definitely need an anniversary memento.
Whether that's something that can be earned
through completing, I don't know, some
mini-punks related task or something.
I don't know. Just thoughts, Prism.
I'm sure we can figure something out if you're
interested in that as an idea.
But yeah, that is a win. Massively exciting.
Moffy. I did that. i just didn't share the image i downloaded
it it's on my laptop um just didn't share it yeah i had a post yesterday for taco tribe as well that
never got shared you know specifically relating into my like you know very specific like recently
it's like this is a taco kind of thing um and is it a taco in the coffee wait did you say taco in the coffee i didn't no no no so
taco tribe like you know the quote post thing that that's been like a a trend for a while if
you like i say trend um each individual one is kind of a or could be a trend on his own thing
i just yeah just something simple for taco tribe every tuesday and i forgot well i didn't forget
to do it yesterday i did it and then never posted it so i mean i guess you could say i forgot in a way but anyway um at the same
time i downloaded a on monday night or sunday night or whenever it was i went and made moffy
and then just downloaded the image and never shared it on my laptop so yeah there we are looking forward to your moffy share and now i need to go and find
snake because i was like it's not under the games tab they must not have uploaded it yet but now
you're telling me something different yeah songs songs can tell you where it's at i'm not telling
you no no i'll go find it i'll'll go find it. Or I won't.
I'm going to be frustrated. One of the two.
And if I find it, I'm not sharing it
with anyone else. I'm just going to share a screenshot.
Shout out to Meta, right,
We shouted out Ingus earlier on songs. i don't know where you'd be i was drinking my gut drinking my feet i've got my garlic
side cooking i need to not get distracted because i'm in the other room with my laptop
trying to find snake burnt garlic will ruin not everything that i want to create with this dish anyway um some
wins at the top um before i burn my garlic or whilst i burn my garlic potentially uh starting
from the beginning there's this space uh then there's a post from andrea from uh tfw uh cancer
related project it's just um an article explaining some decisions she's making with
regards to that project what's happening with the future of it and how they're going to try and help
people and it's she's she's very similarly minded to what what f cancer do but they do it on a much
broader scale so just wonder if we kick into an event this year how we could potentially work with um and support tfw um andrea's awesome uh you should check them out uh octo peaks have
got a couple of posts up there uh one is their q4 report uh just you know they've been around
now for four years doing lots of things building octobot which is a discord tool a free discord tool at the moment
um ingus i'm trying to accept your request oh you might be here now uh i'll say hello in a moment
um but yeah they're building a discord tool they've got loads of other things going on they're
building out the economy behind their their token um so go go check out octo peeps and everything
they've got going on sam gad Gad shared an article about Sketchlight.
And what she's doing with the Linked by Art community supports so many artists.
So check out that article from...
...supports lots of artists in the space.
And also check out what Linked by Art are doing.
And they host uh x spaces every
tuesday at 10 a.m eastern um just chedd with garlic i think it's all right uh web3 poker club
are being sponsored by what's that infinite nft royale i think infinite with nft in in the end royale anyway they're sponsoring web3 poker
club web3 poker club are awesome uh and it's easy to get involved and get poker for your community
just go just go check them out and then um speak to to live indie then there's the songs of eden
post about numbers and just letting us into you, how he feels about some of these things, which takes a huge amount of vulnerability to be able to let people know,
you know, how you feel about some of those moments when things are tough for you.
So appreciate that share, Tom.
I think it's important that people get to see that.
And I think that's a win that you're willing to share that,
even if the topic isn't necessarily a win.
taking photos uh she's managed i don't know what that red bird is i'm sure some american people
that cared about birds could tell me um but yeah i i did a picture from rainbow she's awesome it's
great to still see her doing stuff and sharing her creativity on this platform she's got an award
coming up or she's she's presenting something or
she's at something soon you can find it on her platform and she'll talk all about you can find
it on all of her all of her different accounts on different platforms i should say um i'm going to
read the next one and then i'll say hello to ingus and then i'll get back to to the post at the top because I know where I am then. We have got the post next is from
Morvixity. She's just explaining why she's changing how she's putting her art out there,
which is, you know, it's her prerogative. It's her art. But she wanted to tell the people that
purchased into her daily doodles what she was doing. so another person that's been around this community for a long
time our community and just someone who who celebrates other artists on their account as well
there's there's a number of these artists that I've shared today just you know good to see their
posts and because I've been interacting a little bit with these guys they're coming back on my feed
like I was saying prison so yeah if art is your jam and you want to see
Yeah I'm good thank you. Good. I mean lately I've been busy building my new
empire, medieval empire. Speaking about i i think i i need some new customers and i i'm looking for
some new artists there's some custom for my new dunks and collected already too much and haven't
done anything with them so i need i think i i have each for a new custom made done for me.
I'm sure some of those people up there would entertain a commission for a custom,
Ingus, if you were to reach out to them and like their work. Yeah. But yeah, there's a
few up there that you can follow and check out, and you'll find others.
Many of them are putting a lot of their art on Object and Tez.
Nice, I haven't really checked that. I heard that there are many good artists working there on that platform.
I haven't really checked those platforms, so you'll have to do it sometimes. Many good artists working there on that platform.
Haven't really checked those platforms, so we'll have to do it sometimes.
I don't necessarily like using this term because it's different for people globally,
but there's a lot of art over there that's incredibly affordable and incredibly good art you know sort of less than
less than 10 tez which is i i haven't checked tes but i imagine that's still far less than 10 dollars
so um i'll go check it out in a moment actually and let you know for sure i don't want to be just
spouting rubbish but you know a you know a ridiculous price for what's being offered essentially
yeah usually i think that's for those young and upcoming artists,
but like $15 to $20, it's pretty much a decent price, I think,
Yeah, you'll definitely find that over there in abundance.
Yeah, but I hate those youngsters who are making their customs and then they send you
them in your DMs and say, now you have to pay me.
Are you in Moo Min's stomach? We can't hear you. Is it only me? Are you in Moomin's stomach?
Are you in the Moomin's stomach or something?
The audio is not the greatest, but I can hear it.
No, it's just because I live in a pretty much empty room.
53 cents at the moment, so
two Tez is a dollar basically.
explore, go have a look at Object and you'll
see some incredible stuff. But I understand
I get so much spam even now even though i'm not as active as i was or in the circles that
i was the amount of spam i get just makes me hide from my dms it really does yeah it can be
frustrating just but that audacity of the them because they do something and then they send
and they say now you have to pay me I did this for you but I didn't ask you to do it
no I feel that I feel that sometimes I have paid but I very often say, no, no, I'm not. I'm not. I'm sorry. But no, I didn't ask. Do whatever you want with it.
Thanks for hopping up, Ingus.
I'm going to carry on going through the winds.
Feel free to share anything else that you've got going on
when I finish wrapping them up.
We've got the Axion live stream tomorrow at 6pm UK time, 1pm Eastern.
I may or may not be there.
This week's been a challenge, so I'm not sure I'll be there.
Actually, sort of quite personally, Vitalik's been speaking about the future of this industry,
if it carries on being as speculative and focused on gambling as it has been.
And one of the things we're trying to do at Axion is create one of those DAOs that is a genuine DAO that makes a difference and has effective structure.
So it can run and operate effectively as a DAO, which is in line with what Vitalik is saying the industry needs.
So, yeah, maybe right time, right place. Who knows?
Anyway, the live stream tomorrow, there'll be some information about what's going on.
I don't know if there'll be any time frames yet,
but we're getting closer and closer to the migration to base.
It'll be on YouTube on this platform and on, I think, a couple of others as well.
The next post is Soulmate.
She draws baby elephants.
It's kind of similar to what you're doing.
So she's just one of those people that's supporting lots of other people around the space.
I need to take my garlic off the heat and add the other vegetables
um yeah another artist that's supporting loads of other artists around the space
and uh very active on this platform um and and just brings positivity um maria or vortex um
again another artist doing these things she's actually willing to accept offers on her work at the moment.
So if her work is of interest to you, go make an offer.
You never know what she might say.
Nifty Bonanza, someone that's appeared again randomly recently on my feed.
Maybe it was through a response.
Maybe I saw one of her posts.
But another artist that I used to communicate with regularly that I haven't seen for a moment.
So it's been it's been awesome to have her back on on the piece.
And actually that that post that she shared this morning, I need to keep that in my bookmarks because I never responded to it.
And it's a it's a it's a really interesting piece of work, really thoughtful.
So, yeah, go check that out um there's the one love uh dow
east denver open call on webby up there as well so um submissions getting sent in uh one love
our doubt are sharing them another octo peeps post i shared the stuff about octo peeps earlier
on but you can go you can go read what they're talking about you know the different
things that they built that I was talking about in that post um Vedika she's another artist um
actually someone that I didn't really lose contact with even through all of the rubbish last year on
this platform uh someone that I did regularly speak to uh but um she's part of a project, an open call, an exhibition, curation maybe called Luxuria.
And there's I think there's over 100 artists involved.
All of the works that are in the collection are up for sale.
And four of the pieces that are up there have sold of hers.
So, yeah, wanted to share that.
Again, she just shares other artists all the time,
far more than she ever shares her other work.
Blacked Up, Acquiring Foundation, with Nifty Gateway.
And the other one, why is my brain being an idiot?
But, you know know a couple of these
platforms shutting down at the moment that that have enabled art to be created and stored um it's
great to see the black dove have acquired foundation rather than foundation rodeo that's the other name
anyway rather than um rather than foundation following the same route as Nifty Gateway and Rodeo,
and God knows how many others over the last four, four and a half years,
Black Dove Acquiring Foundation is just exciting for the artists that have got work there,
for people that have managed to use that platform to good effect.
And it's positive news for the space.
There's a couple of other things as well.
You know, you're seeing Betty from Deadfellas at the moment.
They're shipping a game in Alpha,
which is, again, just positive news for the space.
Yeah, another big company that affected her Native Instruments,
who is the biggest provider of...
Yeah, VDK probably knows what I mean, but the VSTs, like basically sampled instruments and stuff.
The German company that just announced they're gonna shut down too, which is kind of sad,
because a lot of us in music are fans of Native Instruments.
or the week before? Yeah, you know, so like
lots of platforms and it's
you know, it's part of growing a business, you know
like Netscape aren't still around, I saw as an example do you know what I mean like these things develop
and evolve and some are successful and many many many many many others aren't successful
and even some of those ones that are successful get bought in sunset or have a life cycle um
and I think you know we, we just see a heightened version
of that a little bit in this space
because it's at the forefront of some new technology
and we don't know what's going to be popular
and brought into regarding this in the future.
And it's all kind of guesswork.
But yeah, he's going to say Black Dove Acquiring Foundation.
The fact that that happened, I thought,
was a positive thing for the space.
VA Vortex, speaking of the moon prism, they've got an art event at the weekend.
They're in, are they in spatial?
I don't know where they are.
They're in the metaverse.
on cyber well do you know what time it is on saturday
Do you know what time it is on Saturday?
i think it's i i think it's in the uh evening set uh 9 p.m set
the yeah okay thank you i i check the post um sketch just asked me to share it and i saw it
right before i came in here and now i'm looking at it now and I'm trying to find the information and it's not.
Oh, 7pm. I just I just scrolled straight past the information prism.
But it doesn't say on cyber. It just says metaverse.
Anyway, on cyber on Saturday, on cyber actually is is kind of offering what spatial used to offer from a gallery perspective,
but much better than spatial ever presented it for you as an artist.
So OnCyber's got useful, useful options for people
and is still working in that vein.
There is the, we nominated ourselves for the ARIA's industry awards
in the UK for radio and audio.
God knows what will happen, but, you know, we'll see.
We put ourselves forward for a Technical Innovation Award
because of the format of the podcast.
I'm just going to keep sharing that post because it's exciting
that we put ourselves forward for what is effectively
an industry, a national industry award.
And, you know, a massive win would just be shortlisted.
Just the opportunity to put that on our podcast would be great
from a promo perspective and all sorts of other things.
So, yeah, it's just, you know, the fact that anyone can do this
It costs probably about $150, give or or take in total to to sign up and
be a member and then also for the admission uh all of these awards ceremony type things you know
you've got to be a member to to be able to participate or you've got to pay for a table
at the event or whatever it happens to be right none of this stuff's free it's all gated in some way and it's is then a
popularity contest very often or uh or uh you know like a bias is the wrong word but do you know what
i mean like it's it's it's judged by individuals who've got their own preferences um subjective
is the right word it's you know subjectively judged which which is the only way it can be it's you know can't be anything else other than that or a popularity contest
however it's exciting and i'm not going to get too hung up about award ceremonies i'm just going
to enjoy the fact that we've submitted uh then there's the post from tricky there's the tweak
scene that i shared from from chum who's no longer able to be in here. Go check out that Tweetsing account. Again,
another account supporting
artists. And then there's the
how to hack the different
some of the different chemicals
learn how to use them in the way that's best for
you. And, you know, no one else thinks like you. No one else thinks like me. And there's no way to
know what's going on in someone else's head. So with all of these things, like they are generalisations
and you'll need to play around with them to get the best outcomes for yourself as an individual.
And if you're still struggling after that, then maybe try and chat to someone who's professionally trained to help.
But yeah, these things are interesting to see, to use, and to get involved in. And that's all
the wins that I've shared. Vidi K, you were very quiet during all of that. I do appreciate you.
And I'm sure that you were just
happy listening to the wins but I want to make sure you're all right and you've got nothing to add.
I am all right. And no, I don't have anything to add but lots of that's like
probably the most wins I've seen you post in a while so, claps to you.
post in a while so claps to you
I had a bit more bit more time than I thought to see some good things on this platform and I think
that's the other thing right actually seeing some good things on this platform rather than all of
the replies that I was moaning about earlier on and so i'm putting herbs in the pan whilst i'm chatting to you so um i'm kind of like reaching for the stuff dried herbs unfortunately i don't have fresh herbs
too cold in my flat to grow things properly um and uh yeah that's that's a win too it means all
these vegetables that i chopped on sunday night aren't going to waste actually they all look
all right as well so yeah you know you wouldn't
we wouldn't want to waste these things would you um and and that was one of the reasons i
one of the reasons i i chopped it was so that that wouldn't happen i was like if i prepare it
all now even if i'm not going to cook it i'll make sure i use it and um i action part two of
that which is just another way there's definitely another win oh this is oh no songs oh no what i couldn't hear songs and then i stopped because you were talking
i heard him for like a second. Go ahead, Tom.
No, I just did a little soundboard thing, but maybe
Maybe it did for everyone else, and just not me.
Maybe it was our morse code.
Does anyone actually put that together
and works out what letters or numbers it's sharing?
Yeah, I mean, it should be
something like that, right? Anyway,
a little bit of rosemary thyme
and basil and garlic, rather than
just garlic, which is nice
um so that's that's what that's what's happened to me during the course of this space it's taken
me longer than i would have liked to to gently fry off some some garlic but that's because you're
all wonderfully distracting and i'm you know blaming you with happiness not not with anything
else um but that's it i don't i don't think I've got much else, guys.
I've shared loads of wins.
I've talked about our wins.
Oh, there was another win. Jay, there's a report released on the State of Children's TV every year.
And we obviously tap into that from a Squibbles perspective.
And they're finally catching up to the things that we've been saying for the last two, two and a half, three years,
and everything that we're putting together at the Squibbles, which is kind of exciting and a little bit of a threat at the same time.
You know, from a business swap perspective, the fact that the industry is cutting on is a little bit of a threat to the potential for where we thought there were market gaps.
potential for where we thought there were market gaps. But it's mainly exciting that we're doing
things that the industry is now seeing as required and needed, and that we've managed to
understand that before the industry. And for the fact that we are independent and don't have a
huge budget, that we've already got a number of the things in place.
You know, it makes us strategic rather than or potentially strategic rather than,
you know, like a kind of more of an investment with potential to become that strategic investment. I can't think of that other word. My brain will figure it out at some point.
But as I say, it turns us more into a strategic investment
for people looking to get into the industry.
We're only really missing one thing, I think, at the moment
for that to be an actual genuine thing.
And that should be coming at some point soonish, he says, fingers crossed.
Hopefully this quarter, probably the first half
of this year but yeah that's that's exciting and a win and then the podcast stuff and we're still
recording the the four series of that which is exciting and a win and then yeah i'm cooking
proper food with actual vegetables in it which is a you know exciting and a win as well so yeah i i
think that's it i don't have anything else.
Do you guys want to feel free to chat or to share any other wins you've got?
But, you know, I need to put some stuff in my pants.
So I'm going to shut up and do that.
I had a question for VDK.
Have you ever tried honeydew
musk what we call musk melon
and I think it and musk. One's orange and one's green flesh.
And I think it's musk melon.
Yeah, musk melon is the orange one.
And that's my favorite of the two or of all the melons. Was there any reason for that question, Songs?
I'm full of like, why did he ask?
They're kind of rare here, but they had a few now,
and I'm enjoying one as we speak.
And I was picturing Prism and those guys in the warmer places,
just picking them with their feet, basically, on a daily basis.
Just kind of an image of how easy it is.
of how easy it is. It's so easy.
I can just sit in my chair and
grab a honeydew melon with
realize that VDK lives in a place
that's like as cold as you.
Yeah, but she's like a food
fanatic, so that's why I have to.
Yeah, but, you know, I think
Unfortunately. They're ours, unfortunately.
This is almost not like a melon in a way.
I would call it more like a citrus or almost more close to a grape or, don't know like the texture is not maybe I'm wrong here but what melons are you comparing it to I only know of a
few types of melon watermelon oh yeah watermelon is definitely like more I
guess juicy and like watery yeah watermelon watermelon is one of those things is neither
solid nor liquid and therefore i struggle no it's so good have you ever had watermelon pie
you need to get it from the right country that's some i actually dude from turkey
talked me that i think two years ago they have to come from either from Morocco, at least Russia and Europe, Morocco or Iran.
And you have to get them, they need to be shaped more like, what's the word, like a nut, not circle shaped.
Like the big, big shops, they buy too many of them and they just taste like a cucumber, basically, water.
I buy too many of them, and they just taste like a cucumber, basically, water.
But you need to get those from more the local markets
in the shape of like, what's the word?
And then the best ones are from Morocco or Iranan shout out to the one and only it's never
ronin down in the listeners oh my god a celebrity in the space i'm getting goosebumps uh 8 8 a.m c
t friday morning or uk time or 3 p.m yes 3 p.m 3 a..m. 3 a.m. EST. Get yourself get yourself into never own in space.
I'm normally there starting my day before I have to go to work at half past the hour and stop listening to the space.
But I get the first half an hour, give or take, when I remember to tune in.
And if I've done my walk early enough, because my
walk is precious and apart from taking
a photo, my walk is non-phone
yeah, as long as I'm out for my walk
and back on time, I get the first half hour of
you were going to say something about Watermelon
and it not being all weird texture
and then songs told us where we had to get them from in Europe.
I was literally just going to say that there's a thing called watermelon pie
and it's the coolest thing ever.
So it's all diced up watermelon.
And you make a really thick, like not as watery version of like jello mix.
No, you don't even add water.
So I'm not the one that makes it.
So you get whipping cream, like Cool Whip whip thaw that out and you pour in watermelon uh flavored
jello mix which you can barely even find in north america right now we literally order it on amazon
um it's from the jolly rancher so it's like that sour watermelon flavor so you mix that into the cool whip and then you add in all the chunks
and you do it in a graham crust it's a no bake it goes in the fridge for I don't know 12 to 24 hours
to set um and then you eat it and it's got like almost like a green look to the watermelons, to the filling.
But I'm sure other people might enjoy that.
It might taste lovely, but the texture of it would be just something I can't deal with.
It's not as moussey as mousse. tastes lovely but the texture of it would be just something I can't deal with. Mm-hmm.
It's not as moosey as moose.
Do you know what Cool Whip is?
Like Angel Delight if you're in the UK but yes.
Angel Delight? Is that what you...
Wait, that's what you call Cool Whip?
I don't see why the brand would be called that, because it's like light and white, like an angel.
I don't know. Angel Delight.
Well, they've got different flavors, like, you know, strawberry and chocolate and vanilla.
I haven't had that since I was a kid, and I'm quite grateful.
But yes, the powdered stuff with milk turns into...
No, it's not powdered. No.
Whatever it is, I can't remember.
But yeah, I don't know what's Cool Whip then.
Or am I just confusing it with a different product?
It's kind of a more solid version of whipping cream that's been whipped up.
And it's definitely more commercial, basically plastic.
It comes in the frozen aisle, but you thaw it to use it um it's kind of like a mix between whipping cream and ice cream
that's like a poor man's clotted cream now like no i have actual clotted cream here like i'd go
eat that instead okay mr bougie. Boogie. I have something
else to share, by the way.
It's a little short piece
of music, and it's actually the
for, I mean, everybody knows
we need a new, fresh one.
So here we go, that's so 80.
Stranger Things, like, brought that song right back up to a top song.
Yes, but actually, now all the kids know.
Right, you both talked over each other
and I've got no idea what either of you said.
I think Songs was saying it was redone as Never Ronin.
That was like the catch in that one.
And I was just saying, now all the kids know it's such a great song.
I was just so 80s. As soon as you hear the stints you're just like yes
80s anyway we have we have the man the myth the legend himself never owning
and the never owning story continues guys like songs, you the G-man, like, wow.
You surprise me all the time. As you do.
As you do. You know, it's...
You are a true creator, bro. Thank you and I appreciate it for that.
Not gonna mention Dave, who in an instant created a short, I think it was four verse or something, or five verse.
Things are happening, things are hooking.
Yeah man, it was super cool, yeah. Loved it. The fly with his guitar.
Yeah, man, it was super cool. Yeah. Loved it. The flag with its guitar.
Just a little, yeah, just something light, right?
Like, I normally write deep stuff because that's what, you know, that's...
Poetry, art, music, it's all used to express emotions and feelings.
And the reason we need to use those different ways of expressing
is because words alone often won't do it justice.
And I know that poetry is a form of words, I get that,
but it's a way of expressing them in a different way
to how you would usually do it.
And I normally only really find myself in the mood
to write when I'm having those deep feelings so when when I get the opportunity never own in to
to have a bit of fun because the moment presents itself um I love it I used to Jay used to do um
live draw along sessions on this app and rather than draw i take the the words and make a limerick up out of
it instead um and actually just on that note jay 10 30 a.m uk time saturday mornings is doing the
live draw alongs again um live on youtube and tiktok um and uh definitely get yourself along
draw some squibbles characters have some fun take part get yourself included in the gallery
whether you're young or old uh we will be sharing a gallery of all of the art from the previous week
so that's a win too anyway thank you for bringing that i've never owned in that that little liberate
made me smile i'll see if i can find it and chuck it at the top well i'm gonna find it for sure
because i definitely bookmarked it you know and one what I'm not a zen guy,
you know, but I love the teachings,
others, but through the teachings,
then it's good not to take it that
life, as in job, as in what
you are actually enjoying to do. If it's meant to be serious all the time, that means it's not
good for you and your health. Things should have that slice of naughtiness, if you want.
of naughtiness if you want. And yeah, I guess that little fly with its guitar was one of them.
Thank you. It was a nice break in the DeFi, InfoFi vibe and we just ended up with a poem about a
fly with a guitar. I loved it. Yeah, yeah, bro. Yeah, we all need a bit of whimsy in our life right i think um
the example i i often use when explaining this with with children and how children express and
find joy and they're just so inquisitive and it kind of gets driven out of them by society and a
few it's few things as not all children but a lot of them as they get older. But golf is a great example.
And anyone who's ever tried to play golf as an adult will know how goddamn hard it is and how many moving components there are to a swing.
And they'll get themselves worked up, especially if you start playing a little bit
and you start being able to hit the ball regularly quite well.
You'll start getting in your own head and you'll start getting yourself all worked up about stuff and you'll start thinking about posture and position and all of the 280 different
moving parts in your body that are contributing to this golf swing at the you know to hit this
tiny little ball at the end of this stick that's half the length of your body like it's you get in
your own head whereas a kid they'll hit a bad shot give a five-year-old a club
they'll hit a bad shot and they'll just pick up another ball and put it down and try and hit it
as far as they can again and they'll have like the joy they'll have in that moment in in just
sort of exploring and playing with that is something that we lose as adults and it gets
driven out of us by society for all sorts of different reasons and i think we
need to work really hard to to to have it in our lives the the whimsy the joy the exploration the
inquisitiveness just just wanting to explore and find out and and find smiles at the end of it i
think it's massively important so yeah thanks for giving us the opportunity to do that as well
um the other day, never owning.
It definitely made me smile too.
I love to have the opportunity, you know, as in I love to have the option to share my journey.
And while doing that, you share part of my journey. And while doing that,
you share part of your journey.
That means a lot to me, you know.
Well, we are cooking here, you know.
We are cooking for a good time, you know, to share.
Well, I don't know about sir blating wins
because for me it's every day it's a huge w just by knowing that you guys are safe
you know and we get to meet the next day as they say
and i've got two i've got two posts or two replies saying you know i'm here today that's a win and i'm like god damn yeah it
is a win because the alternative sucks the alternative is not nice for any of us like
especially the person who's not living through the alternative like yeah it's it's a win we're
here we're able to have this conversation and um yeah i'm grateful for you guys really grateful
for you guys uh my onions and leeks see this is
why it's not a proper bolognese i put leeks in it but my onions and leeks have like sweated and now
like carrots and celery are going in and there might be some peppers as well but don't tell
the italians don't tell the italians um they'll they'll make me they'll make me feel bad are you
streaming this are you like doing live cooking show while you're doing this show? Can you do
two things at the same time? On
that. No, I'm not streaming it. I'm just commentating
You need a full unopened package of milk or and then just
put it on the side and your phone will fit perfectly while you're streaming your cooking
i'm i'm i mean much as i love you all i good. The lighting in my kitchen is absolutely woeful.
And did I tell you that I'm good? I think I told you that bit. I could say it again if I need to.
But you guys don't need to see me cooking. You can just enjoy the sounds of it.
That's close enough, right? If we're looking and talking about vicariously living.
I can't hear Song soundboard.
I'm pretty sure he was trying to do a soundboard thing.
Happy Wednesday. And I made an image just for you in the purple pill. You call it the purple pill still. So yeah, we got that. And then
for BDK's watermelon pie, we have Ragnar pie. I don't know if it's the same. It tastes the same.
It may be a little bit, you may be silent after you take a bite, though.
For when Dave is done cooking, he can go look at it.
I'm going there now to share it at the top.
I'm sorry I haven't replied to the purple pill.
I've done lots of other things though
um oh my god how many pipes have you put in here prism um i found it i have found it yeah we were
talking about the uh cool whip versus angel delight i was trying to figure out the difference because
i didn't know so grok also answered us so we got a more clear answer yeah different totally different
at a more clear answer yeah different totally different okay yeah definitely
different from what VDK said like definitely very very different but you
know this is this is what happens with the press presumptions and assumptions
you know like we all know what happens if you assume
I think you're not supposed to put the rind in the in the watermelon pie
though I think I don't think you're supposed to eat that part.
Well, I mean, I don't know if it's bad for you, but it's a challenge.
No, we'll leave it at that.
You may not be able to sing ever again.
Does anyone in here eat the skin of a kiwi?
you would unfair it first. Cause you know,
kiwi fruits are kind of fairy.
You wouldn't want the fairy aspect of it,
but you can take that kind of fairiness off.
but I've got a friend that does like, he kind of polishes his kiwi and then eats it like an apple. And it's kind of... I haven't, but I've got a friend that does.
He kind of polishes his kiwi and then eats it like an apple, and it's the weirdest thing.
Man, for sure, I always peel my kiwi. That's all I can say.
Yeah, yeah, that's true. Or cut it in half and use a spoon.
Yeah, either, either, either or.
You gotta scoop. You spoon. Yeah, either. Either. Either or. You got to scoop. You got to scoop it, man.
Like, on the other hand, I've heard about mangoes eaten with all of it.
You know, you just take a bite out of it.
And they seem to be green.
Is that guy, how do you call him that
guy the speed speed that guy speed went to whatever country you know he's traveling he's well known
whatnot i'm not following him but you know it uh social media shows shows it to you
either you like it or not but that was was interesting. I saw this particular thing about...
Because I do love my mangoes, you know. I do love to enjoy... I enjoy eating mangoes, man.
Wow. It is one of the best fruits out there, in my opinion.
So, there are species of mangoes that you can eat without peeling them.
I would love... That does sound rather exciting, never I knew.
I would definitely love to go and try a few.
I have a friend from Bangladesh.
His mom told me that they have seven different mangoes in their garden.
I only knew of two myself, but that was pretty fun.
I guess it would be like, you know, to people where apples don't grow,
like they think apples were either green or maybe red but if you're around here in the UK there's like thousands of varieties of apples thousands and they all taste different and they're
you know some of them are cross-bred and some of them aren't and all of this stuff but I'm pretty
sure it's the same but because they're like exotic fruit to us, certainly in the UK,
we only get the varieties that are easy to grow,
that last long enough to be shipped, etc., etc.
If you just imagine that you can eat the outer skin,
that means that the outer skin should be soft first, and that means that the fruit itself
would be more susceptible to damage in the transports, as you said, Dave.
But yeah, and about apples, I, man, I remember when I was young, I was heading out from the city and just on the side of the road, you'll find apple trees, you know, and you can just stop the car, pick an apple and eat it.
And those were the best apples you can imagine.
apples you can imagine and i'm we get so much of that locally never owning where people just
leave it because they they can't consume all of the produce they've got so just leave at the end
of their drive in a box for people to take and it's yeah they're just incredible like i had a
pear i had a pear from a pear tree last year like straight off the tree and i'm not a massive pear
to anything I've ever eaten before in my life. It was incredible. There's something about
That's a hundred. Now, in my garden, I have a peach. I have two of them. The most amazing pitches that I've ever
They are rather small now.
They're only a few years old, but
I do have a few kilos out of them.
apple trees, like three types of
Cherries, I have three types of cherries.
And sour cherries, two or three types of sour cherries.
And pear, also I have one, one pear, it's quite big.
And walnuts, yes, I have like three, two big walnut trees and one small.
So yeah, I definitely enjoy the fruits that my garden offers me, you know, and I do take care of them, you know,
hopefully giving the proper treatment while pruning them at the right
time and taking care of them as they would be my little children. Okay. And yeah, I enjoy
It's quite the orchard. And Songz, I see what you're doing there. No one will watch it on
Nextdoor. That's the problem. And what do do you want do you want them cubed you want them diced you want them julienne tonight i mean i need i need
more than just chopping a perfect carrot you you go like uh friday the 13th of that
for a carrot slice it like angel hair like you got to get the pasta grinder out and then you just like get it really thin oh yeah there you go um i did my knives need to be sharpened properly for me to be able to do
that they're not they're not unsharp they're not blunt but they would need to be like professionally
wet stoned to be able to cut that thin prism. Most farmers markets have those. I think you have farmers markets over there.
My friend has a sharpening wheel in his workshop.
I just, A, would need to convince him to use it
and B, probably help him clean up his workshop
so it was in a position for him to be able to use his sharpening stone.
But yeah, it would be a possibility.
Wheel even. Wheel, not stone. But yeah, yeah, it'd be a possibility. Wheel even.
and magically pull one up
I don't trust my left hand that
much with a knife um but i can play pull quite well left-handed even though i mainly play right
handed so i'm not ambidextrous but i can use my left hand but yeah i wouldn't i wouldn't trust
i wouldn't trust it for chopping because i've got so comfortable and pattern that habit trained
in chopping with my right hand if that
makes sense but yeah random i haven't seen it i don't i dare and press play on a video whilst
i'm hosting spaces i i don't i used to do all sorts of stuff i won't even go into dms anymore
like i just i just stay around the room for any final wins and then i'm
going to go finish finish doing what i need to do with my pot vegetables and i need to add some
beef to it some tomatoes so that i can get some flavor in it before i go to bed that's what i need
to do otherwise i'll have to half cook it tonight and then cook it again tomorrow.
And I can't be doing with that.
So, any final wins? Never mind
if you've got any wins you want to share with us.
a recorded space. Damn it.
when it ends good, so they say.
But since it's not the end, I guess we are good.
So, possibly we'll get better. Who knows?
I mean, that sounds like a win. Let's call that a win.
Yeah, that's a short W in a long term let's make it a long term
w how about that sounds sounds like the way to do it i mean look if you if we can get one person
from this spaces that doesn't normally come to your friday morning spaces we'll call that the win
um and then anything else that happens well it happens and we'll deal with it when it happens
um but yeah thank you for stopping by never running always appreciate you and uh go check out scroll through those posts at the top
there might be something that that takes your eye there's a few artists up there as well that are
very very supportive of other artists as well i have gone through them all um so i'm not going
to do that again because it took about 10 15 minutes um uh the one thing that i will say is
black dove acquired foundation.
So I don't know if you've got art on foundation,
you've bought art on foundation, it's stored on foundation.
I've got no idea, but you might want to find out what that means
if you're either an artist or a collector that uses foundation.
Prism, any final, any last-minute wins?
Final, any last minute wins?
Last-minute wins? Any other wins you want to share?
Any other wins you want to share?
You can now go to settings here on X,
and you can change the way you interact with the timeline.
I've been playing with it.
So you can swipe left or right.
The default is, I think if you swipe left it um likes the post so you don't
have to tap the heart find the heart on the screen um and you don't see you don't necessarily see the
analytics anymore which is kind of maybe it's to uh to song's point we don't need to necessarily
chase the numbers we just need to like the content when you're just consuming it so
yeah that's kind of a i guess that's a're just consuming it so yeah that's kind of a
i guess that's a win as far as a find it's kind of a new strategy you can turn it opt into it so
i've been playing with it and yeah it's it makes it a little bit more just kind of fun so yeah
at least uh something fun to end with happy wednesday have see you on friday i guess question mark i think so i think so and just just think of
all of those people that you swipe whatever the negative way is just think of how they're going
to feel when they get you at swipe prism think about it we can like you can you can configure
it you can configure it to do whatever you want the other like all both swipes are configurable
so you can yeah but i mean if you assign if you assign
one of them a negative uh thing and that negative feedback goes to the person who posted just just
think of the consequence no no no i'm only i'm being think of the butterfly bro
no so it it at least the way i understand it is is that it's more like just don't show me this content type anymore.
Yeah, no, no, no. It's Tinder for your own social media, not for everyone else that's being responded to.
But yes, no, I think it's interesting playing with these tools, Prism.
But the impact might not be seen, but the algo will still feel that impact if you if you do
it if you if you if you attribute a negative a negative thing to that and you use that the algo
will learn from those negative receptors if you want um and again just something to consider if
you're going to use tools like that um maybe you don't add a negative receptor you just scroll past i
don't know maybe you have a negative receptor and you go around there and actively go and swipe the
negative way on all of my content like you you do you it's so i'm not here to tell you what i just
like to ask questions and hope to help people think a little bit it is positive though prism i feel like I put a negative connotation on something that
you were excited about and I didn't mean to do that. Go swipe left or right on content
and tell this platform what you want it to do. Sungs, any final wins that you want to
share or anything else? Maybe that we just had a great space.
And on that note, we've got straight to VDK.
Yeah, I kind of second that.
and lots of wins coming in the next couple of days.
Excited to release the info i'm excited for it too i i have i guess the right term is sweated all my veggos um now i'm gonna
add mints i could have done that another way around but that's that's that's what's gonna happen
I could have done that another way around,
but that's what's going to happen.
I also look forward to catching you up on certain things.
So if and when you have time, Dave.
It's probably going to be the weekend now, to be fair,
just with how this week's played out.
I sound disappointed in that.
But yeah, I've got to finish this off
and not get too distracted and then tomorrow maybe maybe after well no because we've got
spaces and squibbles me and yeah tomorrow's tomorrow's a write-off so friday possibly but
definitely the weekend i feel like i'm getting the silent treatment now like and this is no no
no i know you're not i know you're not but this is what our brains do to us i wanted to use it as
an ending point so please please don't don't be defensive so don't actually think that i think
it's pertinent no it's funny i nothing held against but it's like you could see my pouty face.
Because I'm just, you know, I'm bursting at the seams at this point.
But I do have, hopefully, I was supposed to have a call with Monica last night and did not get to do so.
So hopefully I get to do so today.
Hopefully I get to do so today.
And I have a catch up with Metal coming up.
And yeah, tomorrow I'm looking forward to another YouTube stream.
It's always fun when you pop in.
More fun when you're sending me messages and I'm reacting to them, though.
I know, I know. That's what's fun about it. more fun when you're sending me messages and i'm reacting to them though i'm i know i know
that's what's fun about it the the reason why i said about the silent treatment was just because
and i i think this is a win other people might not but i think it is so i'm gonna i'm gonna end
the spaces with it but it's the the you know emotions lead all of our decisions and our
emotions you know they they they evolve to protect us
and they fill in blanks with fears and with worries and with concerns that aren't real
and that's why i wanted to use that as a as a point to end the space vdk's because it's very
easy for me to take five seconds of silence and think that vdk is having a reaction because I've said something.
And for my brain to just immediately go worst case scenario.
And it's trained to do that, right?
That's what's helped us evolve to this point in our lives. So, you know, it's not me saying it's a negative thing.
It's me saying that it's something to be aware of.
You know, we need to take a step back and not let our brains just fill in the worst
case scenario for every potential outcome, because that's just not how the world is, even though our
brains would like to convince us otherwise. And I end that post just with, I get it right all the
time, taking a step back, losing the sensationalism, working out if the feeling is real or protectionist?
No one gets it right all of the time.
That's the fun of the game, isn't it?
And the alternative to not playing isn't very pleasant.
So I'd rather find the smiles and have fun
and be aware of these things,
even if I can't always perfectly manage them.
Thank you guys for hanging out with
us on Wednesday. I've had plenty of smiles. I'm going to go finish making food, not even for
tonight, future food. That's what I'm going to go finish making. And I will then go to bed. That's
the plan. Enjoy the rest of your Wednesdays. Thanks for hanging out with us. I think we'll
be back on Friday with Metal. Never owning we'll be back on Friday with Metal.
Never owning we'll be back on Friday morning.
Very early morning for you US people.

We'll catch you Friday, 2 p.m. EST. Go on, Prism, quickly.
Tish Tosh. Shout out to Tish Tosh. I see you out there.
Sorry, Tish. I am a terribly, woefully bad human being that did not shout you out, and I apologize for that.
But thank you for stopping by.
And thank you for picking that up, Prism.
And I'm not certain the cough was necessary.
I appreciate you, really.
That was a natural cough.
I'm just trying to keep you here for another 12 minutes i get it i'm just
going to close the space you need to give a moment of silence so that everyone can hear that you're
shutting the spaces down not cut off the words before the space is because you know there's a
delay and now i leave a delay and prism's like i'm just going to keep talking so you can never
shut the space love you guys enjoy the rest of your day. Thanks for hanging out.
We'll catch you on Friday or Monday,
but definitely at 2 p.m. EST.
