The cafe is where they play
Changing the world day by day
Sit the grind, feel the sway
Nowan can you see if we're live?
Okay Yep we're live okay sounds good okay guys everyone who is tuning in we'll
um and slowly more people will start but to the four people here right now uh gm guys uh we have
the four people here right now uh gm guys uh we have uh utakash and gayatri today and naman's here
i'm also here uh but mostly number one's going to kind of you know be leading the entire session
uh very cool topic today and definitely for uh i think non-tech bros uh like me uh to understand
this uh craze that's been on twitter at least like two weeks ago like mcp and what it
means what you can do with it and like you know how it ties into base right um and uh just for
context right like gaiatri and utkarsh are like serial builders right like they build even when
they sleep and they've been doing that for the past uh for a long time and you know build a bunch
of very cool products on base and very
and far caster uh and always tinkering with our new primitives right like whether it's launching
a token with your phone or whatever else they're going to tell us about today uh they're always
doing that so today they're going to help take us through mcp and you know what what are some of the
things you can actually build with that so yeah guys over to y'all over to you and uh i'm excited for this one awesome thank you for the great um yeah we are excited to start so
uh what we are thinking about in a voice we'll just do a short intro on what mcp is right uh then
how does base mcp work how anyone can use it and then we'll build like a
small prototype as well so it will be like a mix of technical and some building so let's start with
mcb it is called model context protocol so basically uh it is an open source
protocol. So basically, it is an open source software that Claude or the Antrofic team has come up with. And what it does is it helps you any AI connect with data sources, right? So basically, it's like chat GPT can connect to drive if open AI puts into it, Claude puts into it. But with MCP, anyone can say,
okay, I have built an MCPuff for Slack.
And now you can take that MCP
and plug it into any AI that's available, right?
Be it Cloud, be it ChatGP, or be it Cursor.
And then you can start interacting with it.
So it's basically like an api of apis right uh so uh it helps ai get more tools or get more data
sources for it to work with right you want to add something yeah i i think like uh in the past six
months everyone wanted to build a lot of agents right and the main thing is like what can that agent do right so the edge for
every other agent was like the integration part of things right no not a lot of people were tinkering
on the model level but if the agent can trade if the agent can um mint nfts or things like that right or even generate images so what right now we have done is
extracted out the integration part of things right the apis apis do prakar mostly agreed
right so uh it's basically abstracting out that in a in one server right that people can self-host or
maybe even like we can set up our own mcp server right like build a protocol in integration here
like build a protocol if you want to know hey uh who are the top 10 uh people by score in fbi
channel right or in farcaster channel or something like that right
now this can like giving making apis compatible with ai models right that's as simple as it gets
right so right now we have like a client and we have like this mcp server right so you can build
a client that can interact with multiple mcp servers and you can
like build your own mcp server as well right there's another thing that you can authorize
the current person as well right so the client so everything is very abstracted out now uh players
like zapier are also setting up like every, like they have more than 5,000 integrations, right?
They are integrating MCP.
So imagine like you just telling AI,
It would configure MCP servers on its own
and getting it done, right?
It would get access of your data by authorization tokens,
It's very standard, like how you give any app your data access, right?
So if you want to be like, hey, launch this token and whenever this person mints or swaps
this token, post it on Slack, right?
All these advanced workflows are now possible yes yeah yeah i think another interesting thing
with mcp for white quota white coders is good is so mcp make sure that whatever data the ai gets
and an ai is going to process it's in a proper format so if i'm saying i wanted a json which has
the name pfp and everything mcp makes sure that it will come in that form.
So if you're wipe coding, sometimes AI will give you data which is not in the format and your app can break.
But MCP will make sure that it's in the format and everything is coming properly. is actually what they have built upon is on JSON tools that Claude had before, which was making sure
that AI give responses in very particular formats
and they don't hallucinate and stuff.
So this is just a more abstracted version of that.
What thoughts are you getting, like as a person?
Yeah, as an absolute normie, like the thoughts
that I'm getting are like, OK, like all of this makes sense. Like, okay, I got the workflow aspect makes a lot of sense, right? And connecting these various data sources. Let's talk a bit about these data sources. Like what are these various data sources? Where can they reside? And like, you know, obviously it differs from a data source that's, let say my personal workflow data source right very different
compared to more enterprise and organizational data flows right so how does that work right
what are these data sources where do they exist and like you know how what what are the various
sources we can um let's say integrate with mcp so data sources i think from the top of my mind i can categorize into three ways right one is like
you have like a large chunk of pdf you have a lot of data like a csv file anything right that is one
that you can just inject right that whole uh data source you have the ownership right and now
ownership right and now uh alternatively you have slack or sheets any product b2b sas that you use
right where they have a lot of data but you have put some data on their database right and you can
give the apple does not approve but you can give access to uh the your data that is stored on their database
right this is slack may uh in your slack how many people are there right that's your data but in
slack's database right so you have to provide some authentication give this ai model access to that right and uh there is third like very open uh data which is blockchain data
right uh i i think that is transparent open anyone can look into it right and you just need an rpc
to connect and query right no authentication required got it okay so understood on the data sources but let's like talk about
like before we get into the base side of things right um a lot of twitter tech bros have posted
crazy threads about mcp and what it can do right let's talk about in general like what is the like
and you guys have also been tinkering so let's maybe walk through the three to five different
use cases apart from the slack example that you gave
that like you've tinkered with or you found super interesting um or you know just have been talking
about it with other developers yeah do you want like blockchain examples because i have only
blocked web3 we'll come to but just like otherwise like we'll come to the blockchain part after this one yeah i think one
interesting one because i'm working a lot on creator data with onboard right so what interesting
uh can be for like youtube creators like they have all the analytics and everything in youtube api
one mcp can be which helps these creators get all their data to a ai and then ai can help
them analyze what is working what's the growth like like the person can just say hey claude
what's my growth been for last two months and this mcp can help the data and it can know the
growth make charts for it and stuff like that.
So that can be one data source that like use case that you can think about.
Yeah. I think similarly that same example can be implemented on Google
analytics or like if you're using invites, right?
How many people have RSVP to my event, right?
How many of them are acting?
Even you can do like, it's not just reading data but also posting data right you can just talk about like give a
dump or like your mind dump of all the things you're thinking for an event it would transcribe
it would create title summary everything and you're like hey by the way just post an event on
everything and you're like hey by the way just post an event on uh like event dot xyz and it
would just do that right so yeah uh i i think i'm also looking at some of the integrations where
you people have been copy pasting from claude right draft this proposals and send it you can
have mcp connected to your email as well right so uh and the the awesome part is like you choose
your uh client right you can do uh you can do it with open air you can do it with claude you can
do it with cursor right so you can even be like i am on my cursor if there's a jira mcp it can hey fetch me all the active tickets that are assigned to
me today are there any critical bugs right if they were like yes there is one hey let's talk about it
and uh how do you suggest we should go about debugging it right it has all the access to your
code base just uh suggest some approaches one by one even raise request right so
mct you need like some specialized people to build integrations once and then every can you everyone
can use it right this abstracting out makes the whole protocol open source right and enables more people to just link it right and
the link in part is so easy like it's so much we just say hey link this uh mcp to my client
and it would be done right you don't have to like manually like with base mc, you have to do some setup, right? There's no hosted version of base and MCP.
You have to set up node and other coding environments in your local.
But I don't think that's so hard that you cannot do it.
I think another great use case could be people who are data analysts, right?
They have a lot of stuff.
So if they have a simple mcp which connects
to sheet they get all the data and they can get it analyzed with like make charts make
bar graphs whatever they want right it's very fast and very efficient i think last one would
be ahan you would relate since you are managing multiple clients if you have a telegram MCT, you can just create summaries and action
items of all the messages from yesterday and even assign them, connect to your Zira. Like
this is the task for me. This is the task for some other person. And it would just like
all from Claude. Right. I think thinking of use use cases like I think everything we said you will find
some of the other AI product which has been built on top of it which is separate but what MCP does
is it's bringing all to like Claude or it's bringing all to that one thing like at one
place you can do all of these things you don't need to have like different apps and stuff right
I think the one exciting unlock that would be for wipe coders
uh it's already there in base MCP is to deploy a contract right now you can talk about it hey
this is my idea and people would be able to like mint an NFT but only not right so you
can put that up right and you can deploy that as well you can share that
contact address so people can interact with it you can even uh build a front end from it
just from a single cloud prompt right uh and just the other another unlock we are just thinking
about is how to deploy it directly from claude right? You have this code chunk and you don't even have to worry
about like downloading it and then posting on Vercel,
Git management, a lot of vibe coders
don't need to worry about all that, right?
It's just a one MCP away.
I think like my first sense is there are as many use cases as, um,
your creativity, right? Like for number one, creativity, number one, your daily workflow,
right? Because as you mentioned, like the telegram thing is super useful, right? Because,
um, I would love that without putting my brain to it, right? If I was, had that in an asana
task word created and assigned to, let's say like without my intervention i just
like you know probably save at least an hour of work like you know i'm not 30 30 45 minutes easy
saved in just like project managing like you know doing that follow-up and like making sense of what
the task should be how it should be described and all of these things so that's like for me
as somebody that's an agency owner and running clients that
makes a lot of sense right and even like while Gayatri was saying analysts as well i was just
thinking about the fact that if you are able to let's say have uh these various data sources
plugged in where like for example one is your own internal database what other are live apis right
the insight that you will get from uh let's say, just based on whatever your thesis is,
at least in public markets, will be very interesting. Because a lot of private information
that these hedge funds, VC funds, and all kinds of other funds, that's the alpha, which is not
publicly available. And that's why the private market always, not always, but at least right now,
has outlier returns and everyone's going for that. But always not always but at least right now has
outlier returns and everyone's going for that right but then combining that with let's say
some public market strategy doing that live and for somebody like me who just wants to prompt
right like i want or i don't care about all this i just want to prompt because i have this much
context but i don't have deep context would be insane right so yeah that's like so basically to summarize this i think the
use cases that are not blockchain specific provide good context like into the fact that basically
this is like a way for private data for you to connect your private data and then be able to
make sense of it number one now let's come to blockchains where fundamentally the difference is this is all publicly available for you but making sense of blockchain data is obviously
like it takes a lot of time uh not everybody needs to do it but everybody wants to get that
one line answer right and many other things so let's now transition into the blockchain side of
things and so number one what is like blockchain based mcp and let's
come then to what base mcp is and then we can dive into kind of the look and feel of uh like everything
sure I think just to start this like conversation on this theme uh off is I I have gone through the banker like white paper or some paper they released right when
like it's been months and what the thesis there is people have been looking at UI to make things
very accessible right uh the whole thing with design is like how if a person is coming with
one goal to your website how can you make
the person reach that goal in the minimal clicks possible right but with ai integration you can
also think this person does not know anything right how can you make your product very accessible
right if a person does not know English right he only
knows Marathi then how can you change and morph your product or provide a better interface to
the user and second if the person is like hey I don't know call options right I'm just staring
at our end test right so how can an ai assistant something like just a microsoft on a side
how can that assistant help you understand what it is about understand the concepts on which it is
built and then get you onboarded right it's like opening up another layer of people that you can target with your product.
With crypto, a lot of people are struggling, bro, there's an education problem.
Um, even during the transactions, there is so many random key value Jason happening that
people can be like, bro, right.
So how can an AI become a friendlier interface
to be like nothing right and uh post it right i think a lot of people like yeah just making
it very accessible is what ai and defy can help us and ai in web 3 can enable this right um and sure go ahead
you wanted to say something no no go carry on yeah so uh this is where we are thinking and now
we are thinking on the open um open databases that is blockchain right so what is possible is like good analytics
right uh understanding what is happening with my wallet right um i think quick review on contracts
as well if these are safer or not right imagine like right now how i'm thinking if we if you're
thinking about mass adoption of web3
is like bringing a lot of small boring features that you can get on bank right and bank experience
can be improved with just having money that would give you like hey you have invested here here here
right you have invested in RWAs or even suggest like hey you should invest in this dubai rwas and it would
give you these benefits right because and or even think about like bringing more context about your
show shell because we are all interconnected in blockchain right ahan and uh like day three has
like, Gayatri has recently made invested into this protocol. Do you want to hop into? Right.
And it's just like having that person that would just help you manage your finances better. Right.
There are a lot of other, like, you need more creativity, like like creativity regarding when you think what you can build on
social protocol right like on forecast right yeah because like you can make a web 3 on chain
uh mafia game right why not and that could just work right and you everyone can play it from their cursor or open ai or cloud
right the open client protocol like similar to how you have students with like you have a wallet but
you can use it in any client right between or beat emas similarly this is how you can work with integrations as well.
And I think, I feel like I want to get into the, like the hands-on stuff, right?
So that all that we're talking about gets grounded into like you guys actually
I think you guys were turning around with some stuff
so like please take us through what you have prepared uh we are your students and we just want to learn how the hell do we prompt cloud and get mcp up and running
sure so there are two ways one so yeah before that one simple question now letcp sort of your data basing is it a logical layer or a decision making
layer it's a logical layer in terms of like it is just like getting data and stuff and then on
that logical layer you add an ai decision right so basically mcP is, MCP is not the AI. MCP is the
box which gives the data to the AI.
I would, given, I could be wrong. Right. But given the code examples that I have seen, you can do anything. It's
coffee open. Right. It's the same thing that you have seen like if you have worked
with like setting up your own LLM right there's a tool swallow thing right that you can just
input a JSON like whatever you want right and now the the AI would just with that enum and arguments
right it's up to you what you link which function do you want to link right
ideally it would be best if you keep these action as elemental as as atomic as you can
right and make ai like with prompting give more context to ai and let ai or any agent take
AI or any agent take that decision, right?
I would not say like as things progress, people would not like attach an agent to the MCP.
There is nothing saying, hey, don't attach an agent to the MCO, right?
Because you need an agent maybe more trained to understand that kind of data right maybe you have one layer that is good for creative work
but for analytic you want to choose a different model which is open AI you can bundle that with
an MCP and then Claude would just hit this one right we are going towards like making hierarchical multi-layer agentic model but making it very easily to just plug
and play and wire and and see what works right yeah i think i get it yeah i think another like
a simple uh example would be it is graphql for ai right? And AI compatible GraphQL, right?
If you're, if you want to think about on a developer's
perspective on what is like how the Lord intended, right?
On these things is like, it's as open as GraphQL.
I just Googled GraphQL, but I get it.
But from the looks of it, right? Google GraphQL I get it.
But from the looks of it,
I feel a lot of my dreams are going to come true tonight.
I'm going to fire up my laptop.
and I'll build something out of it.
Give it to Gayatri and Utkash will debug and then we'll vibe code together.
Let's like just dive straight into it because I think Naman and I are just like, okay, theory is great. We need to see the practice. for sure so there are two routes one is like we show uh a quick demo on our thing right we have set a lot of things up already right it's a very simple setup but uh it's not easy to get started
right uh for a non-tech so we can either show it on our thing or i can guide you on your laptop
on how to set things up you guys go for it and you can just briefly explain the
what you did to set up right and then like just go into whatever your flow is right now
nice cool so this is base and um can you okay so no no no the screen
can you see the github or not once yes all right yes so this is the base mcp repo right
they have given a lot of stuff on how to use it at tools and stuff but when you're
stuff on how to use it add tools and stuff but when you're installing it for
your claw this is the main thing that you need to do which is just like go to
your cursor or any fears code that you have and you do base MCP in it which we
And then it will ask you for a bunch of these APIs, which you can get at this link. Is this visible or should we zoom in?
Yeah, zoom in a bit, guys. It's visible, you're full screen, but yeah, this is much better. Yes, yes. Yeah, I saw him in the LinkedIn.
In the terminal, you put this command and it will ask you for a bunch of APIs, which you
get from the Coinbase link. I think we can show like how does that dashboard
look like without leaking so are you guys able to see this yeah yes so here you just have to create api name it name it and it
will give you it will give you a api key and a secret which you need to put over here and then
it will be set up i'm not going to do that right now but that's just like two things you put in
it set up then it will ask you where do you want to use it you can say claude or cursor wherever you want to use it and
then accordingly it will set the whole base mcp for you in claude desktop or cursor right
so that's all you need to do to use any tool that base mcp has, and it has like a bunch of tools, right?
It has transfer funds, deploy contract, which will show you how to do that.
Check address reputation.
It also has more for walls as a tool.
It can also do contract calls.
If you just want to interact with the contract directly, you give Claude the contract and tell what you want to do and it will do it for
And balance your, it also has a lot of NFT stuff.
So if you want to use any of these with your own wallet,
you just have to do what we just showed you base MCB in it,
give your keys to it. It will also ask for your wallet phrase so that it can do
things for you and then it will be set up once it's set up you just have to come to your cloud
this this is the cloud desktop it only works with cloud desktop it will not work with
the web browser and here we can if you can see
yours it has tools available and now I can say what's my address
Let me just check if we need this.
What we can do sometimes it bugs out.
Yeah, we'll just restart.
Quick question. yeah we'll just restart quick question i'm giving the code my private keys and everything for my wallet and
wallet typically when i'm doing a transaction or you know doing anything other than access
right so in this case what will happen i mean so yeah yeah good and so basically is there
so in this case what will happen
like after i prompted is there an approval layer or you know you get it keep me right
so uh have you tried banker? Yes. Okay.
Does not like, right. So what is happening here is like, let me show you, like, uh, there is a,
like, if you want to like directly contribute to base MCP, add tools to it.
These are the three things here, your name or private key.
This, you are a copy paste it, uh, from, uh, any project IDB.
This, you are copy pasting it from the dashboard.
And then it would generate a seed phrase for you, like, which is a new wallet.
You can inject your own, but I think they are also like don't do too crazy we'll generate
one for you you can uh just uh in a way top it up right yeah so basically think of it that banker
has built everything right now you want to have your own personal black banker in claude this is
what you'll use right so exactly everything so basically base m MCB the best part about base MCB is people are going
crazy about banker you can just have your personal banker with this. So guys there may be people on
the stream that don't know what banker is and like you know what all bankers do right so maybe just give like people some context on uh why
banker is so crazy sure so a banker is like an ai agent which is helping you to do all your on-chain
transactions so from sending eth to someone to buying an nft to launching a token, to transferring those tokens.
And they even now have stop loss where you can say, okay,
but appreciates 50% sell it, right?
So it does all of these things without you taking any action.
You just have to tell the AI, buy me this and it will do it for you.
So it's like an assistant.
Like if you have an assistant, you tell the assistant, go get me money from the bank.
It will go get the money for you, uh, send the money to person, buy things for you and
do everything just like with normal conversational messages.
So, uh, I think banker think Banker has its own terminal.
You can also talk to it on Twitter.
You can talk to it on Farcaster.
And the whole experience is very social as well, right?
And yeah, like right now you are seeing
like somewhat very similar experience on right at your plot.
So yeah, I think what should we do next?
I was just saying like for example.
Okay, I'll just ask one question, then you continue.
So my question is again, so understood the, like from a daily user perspective, I just
have to write something, tag banker, it does it for me basically.
I want to send some eth, I want to mint, I want to, let's say, you know, do anything
Now, what is the difference between that and right now within the fact that right now it's on my cloud only.
So is what can I do with this?
Like, what can I do with this that I can't do with banker?
Like just trying to understand basically what's the actual difference.
So right now, banker functionality is dependent on what deployer actually deploys right uh so all the
integration right now he recently launched like nft transfers right or nft minting right he has
to manually do it right right now if you want to like given all the things that are in base
mcp you can do a lot of stuff. You can just deploy a smart contract, right?
Given this is one cloud and it can have access to multiple MCP, right?
Let's just take a step back and not think about like trading and all these meme coins.
Coming back to you, you are are currently running your agency you do
payroll stuff as well right so you can literally see uh if you have an mcp to your wallet hey what
are the uh how much money have come in right and if you have in your memory all the people that
you have on your payroll and their wallet address you can just deploy
all the salaries right from the floor yeah right all that is possible with base and mcp and you
can integrate other things as well right uh you can just input that one sheet of payroll and
still it would work right so this is where like it's not limited to meme coins, right?
This is you doing your day to day work, right?
How to keep it very simple and seamless and have it everything on one place.
That is, that's so crazy because then, that, I mean, that's a very good example.
And some use cases for this day-to-day work.
And then it makes sense, right?
Like, because now everyone like, is like, I'm the normal person, right?
And if I just have this again, like payroll is a great example.
And let's talk about, okay, like I want to do it in this manner.
I want to cover all personas
right here right i want us to focus on like what you guys are using mcp for but explain simply
so that devs are understanding like you know what all is possible in your context right just what
you guys are using it for what you've done that's one and then we can kind of explore uh for example
people will come to the trading use case as well because i think it's important we want we need to make djans happy uh and then and then let's come to kind of like research workflows as well right
like for example it's researcher or on-chain data research i think that's like three good personas
and like guy three also probably uh if i missed something uh from the creator front we can like
have that as well so but let's start with you guys first and just understand what are you guys doing with it
and how have you been tinkering with it?
Yeah, I think for me, as a developer, I'm not thinking of using Base MCP in my cloud
or something, but for me, it's a great level ground for me to build more stuff like uh we have been
thinking right like to build like a banker on telegram and stuff now banker has done a lot of
this groundwork to set up how to do wallet how to do nft and stuff right if you want to go and build
we have to do that again from skype because banker is not an open protocol. Whereas base MCP has gotten all of
those things and it's open for anyone to use. So we can take this MCP and attach an agent to it and
then we have our banker on Telegram. So for developers, base MCP can be a good level ground
for you to start with things fast. Like if you just want your agent to maybe do NFT sales,
or maybe deploy contracts, you don't have to go and build
all of these things from scratch because Base MCB has it.
You come, you use it in your project,
and it's all good for you, right?
So from a developer perspective, at least I
Like I want to do a lot of stuff with Farcaster.
thing is not there on base mcb but that is something i'm thinking of doing a contribution
to the thing like you can even have farcasters stuff on base mcb so you can like on cloud use
data from farcaster analyze it and stuff so contribution, hopefully I'm going to make soon.
So there is one question on that because like Farcaster data is gaining more
value with each new user.
Because increasingly, at least anecdotally, not like I've not validated
a hundred conversations or something, just like couple conversations.
Uh, people are asking me this question that like
aren't gtm right like everyone's one of the hot questions how do we gtm and firstly what gtm
means also differs but very simple where do i get my first like traction users etc so increasingly
i uh i'm just like you know convinced that fire caster is that place for people to go
and test out their like you know the first, the first product, or just like the first feedback loop that we
Now, let's say I'm somebody that is like interested in that.
Like, you know, let's talk about this, right?
How would like MCP here, like since you're building that, Gayatri, what do you think
How would this, let's say, help people that are interested in, let's say, Farcaster and this problem of acquiring that initial traction and understanding
user behavior on chain? Yeah, so I think we were talking about actually building this as an
example during this call was using, like, build mcp which gets you the trending casts in farcaster so you know
what people are talking about in powercaster right so you just come here and say what have
been people talking in the last seven days and this mcp gives the ai the data that okay all these
cards have been trending this is the engagement and stuff and then ai can analyze and tell the
person these are the topics people are interested
in or this has been trending for the last one week or last hour or something like that.
Right. So that can be one use case.
Another use case can be is like, Acaster has now its own wallet.
So if you want to know who are the top people and then we're going to airdrop something,
you can do that right i think one thing that a lot of people have reached out to me for is like he
we want to incentivize our top contributors like who are the top engagement people in our channel
right uh there are a lot of ways we can use something like open rank and see who are the top contributors of
your channel and right from the cloud you can just send them money right that is so there are a lot
of things that community managers or marketers have been asking about but if we have like a
solid far faster mct we can just do that right we can just enable them to build these solutions themselves and just
send money whenever they want right um i think claude can be like if like you you should not
connect your direct wallet and there could be a client in future that would have some safety
restrictions and like would ask you hey uh like confirm payment or something like that
but that's why this this creates a wallet for you you can do anything with it you can top it up and
do your experiments right as developers it's very nice to just whenever new things come up right if
there is a like v4 uh unisop v4 hooks right if i have any idea i can just talk to claude i can create
a first stop i can deploy and we can just test it right i can share it with my friends right
we can have a no code uh solidity um contest even right where only no others can join and deploy it just using base mcp right you don't need to do anything
else right uh so as developers the ease of deploying contracts right um like tinkering and
getting it done is actually a good unlock for a lot of people you can still do it but it's like
copy pasting to cloud we're going through iterations and then copy pasting to forge
project and then deploying then verifying right it could be tedious right you can have everything
in cloud so it's like i can just talk to cloud on the go from my mobile and deploy it why not right
so right now this mcp doesn't work in mobile. It only works on desktop.
If you I don't think that's a technical limitation.
Right. That is just people have not built that yet.
That's not a big thing. Right.
Have just an MCP hosted in a server and have a client just talk to it.
Could be done. Right. we can get it done uh and i think those are that unlocks a lot of things right a lot of things that can be built
on top of power caster you can even have some integration with dune to get like if i am i'm
thinking about gtm on far ccaster if i'm looking for people who invest
in like lending boring vaults i can do that with uh like get the initial list uh with farcaster
like a intersection of farcaster and top people and then engage with them right hey uh can you do
it and we can also look at like what's their reputation
on a particular community or what's their reputation all around right is this person
is there anyone who has like 10 plus uh 10 000 plus followers because if i get them then we
like i could basically get others as well right uh and these things could be like just me coming up in one minute on top of my mind.
Right. If I have all the setup, that could be out in another minute or so.
Right. These are the unlocks that we are looking at. Right.
What are the other other i think you touched
on this and in itself right like now since we've come to like understanding on-chain
data i mean everybody wants to see right now crypto user pool is limited right um and again
it's like let's only talk about like um evm right now because then there's like you you lose um
like you know you you want to let's say just focus on this ecosystem to start with right so my
question is like again for example identifying these power users and the way that they interact
right and if i'm interested in profiling these guys and like, see, uh, my goal would be to like, at a practical level, if I want somebody to come in, use and be incentivized, I want to know, okay, this guy, like on Farcast is great only because like, I actually have that social layer added to it as well.
So it's easier for me to DM them and be like, yo, like three invite for you.
I'd love for you to like, you know, be one of the early testers you can dm them right from claude that could also be true
you can dm them right from claude so let's like just brainstorm on this right like what else can
what other things can we do one is identifying these guys um let's say curating a list of them
having that like you know clearly maybe also segmenting certain
on-chain actions they've like you know done right by frequency by type by uh you know anything else
right so that's one thing um what else can we like you know do just like off the top of your head
right that would make sense for people to like think from this like targeting perspective
for people to like think from this like targeting perspective like for marketers yeah like for
marketers and even like yeah for marketers like you know bd folks and like you know anybody that's
just looking to acquire users like a person on web 3 who wants to promote their product
basically yes correct right so i think another thing you like with open air we are also thinking is like how to keep
community engaged and uh like having some kind of simple engagement be it with simple games right
or it could be nft mints right uh you can just keep them like see who is actually engaging on
chain right uh like in a way i think of them as like dropping attention
markers right to check if they are still active and what is their sentiment towards your product
right uh there could be a lot of things happening right and once you see like these people like
along with their far past activity how are they interacting with your uh small on-chain products you can incentivize
accordingly right um as a bd person uh along with like you can have dynamic uh like just talk with
claude and have dynamic incentives for different people like uh i have like a range of 5 000
different people like uh I have like a range of 5 000 people follower pol and 10 000 and 50 000
right I am like I want to incentivize everything but not all incentives are created equal right
so we can have more for 50 and like gradually different for different right like if I can see like hey a lot of people are actually in higher
community as well so instead of targeting them one by one why don't have a collaboration like
as simple as a mint collaboration with higher folks right um anything like these like does
this align with what you, what you were saying?
Yeah, no, a hundred percent. I think it's like just open-ended, right?
Because like, we're also thinking about what is possible, right?
Right now, Farcastr has started with these token airdrops, right?
Like you take an action and then airdrop happens.
And then I just saw today morning that they had an analytics
on how many people who have gotten the airdrops have
hold it, how many have sold it, and stuff like that.
So that is also something that you can do.
You can get, you have an address, you get a list of balances.
And tell Claude to analyze, does this person hold
or does this person sell fast?
How does it go crazy well that
is highly important insight which i have which at least like before probably uh all these like
on-chain analysts that have like you know like done a lot of the like you know understand the
ins and outs of like you know querying and indexing and then like you know preparing these
like final data outputs would do.
But now you're telling me basically that I can just analyze user behavior in
literally by talking to Claude, right?
I think how I'm looking into it, like how also, um, like with open AI,
a new image generation, how easily you can have like a persistent
brand identity across your mints and keep them engaged right so and you can just automate that
as well right we are just thinking this what can be done like when i'm talking to claude right imagine like actual agents right uh a brief uh
like one-liner on agents is like when you talk to it and it gets things done that's a simple
llmei workflow right agents is like taking the response and understanding what to do with it
you just give it an objective right and it would iterate till it gets the thing done
right so think about these ncp integrations and agents uh in even integrating it as the
requirement comes right if i need to integrate with nana the agent can do that directly if i
want to integrate it with open rank they can do that directly if i want to integrate it with open rank
they can do that they can do it with dune as well right just dumping it every everything and it can
do it on a recurring basis as well like trigger it every day right and it would get it done right
you can even say hey come up with ideas and execute this is the level of things because the integration
was the bottleneck for a lot of integrations. Crazy, crazy okay tell me this also right like
in terms of for example I want to in a way way, just study. Sir, I came in, we were like,
it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like,
it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, Crazy, sir. Crazy. I have been talking about more than 3-4 hours.
I have been talking about more than 3-4 hours.
I was going to comment on LinkedIn.
I realized that my Dean from Manipal has shared it.
I was like, okay, it's more.
He should now just stop this madness.
Anyway, what's happening?
Yeah, I think Gayatri and I speak at the exact same second.
No, yeah, we were just explaining all the questions that Rahan had for MCP and then was doing like a small game of the base MCP.
And we're just telling how he can use base MCP to make his own banker in Claude.
Oh, we're all getting ready to do everything.
But did you give context to Rahh on who Gayatri is?
What they have been doing? Even the crypto game thing, I think that should be covered.
Oh no, I missed that. I gave context but I missed the crypto game piece.
I think Gayatri has been building non-stop.
And in fact, Utkarsh has been learning a lot from Gayatri on how
to forward all of those things are announced.
Anyway, tell me what's going on.
I'm on mute, I'm just listening and thought I'll say hello.
So we were just like basically they showed us like you know how do you set up base MCP
first and then like what are the various things that you can do, right?
Like what's possible in terms of, uh, like using base MCP, what is possible?
And then we like the conversation went to like very far caster centric, like, you
know, what is, if you were to recap, right?
Like say, if you wanted to recap, like what all have we spoken?
I think, um um it really is uh i don't think
there's any limitation to what's possible right like anything is possible right from automating
your daily work we started with like the web 2 side and then we got into web 3.
or to quickly recap basically on the web 2 side you can kind of configure any custom let's say workflow that is connected to any like
like your controlled data source right so whether that's updating tasks whether that's reviewing
like you know what is spending like what is pending on let's say jira asana etc or whether
that's like your telegram chats with like you know various people or any other like portal where you're
doing any kind of work you can analyze it you, you can like, you know, configure it to like, you know, perform certain actions.
And then also like basically like go in the loop, right.
That's one part, very high level.
The other is on the web3 side, right.
So, but banker, but for you and then like anything that you want to do.
So we were just talking like, we were just talking about.
So any, any on-chain action you want to take, any on-chain action that you want to analyze it's not plugged into the chat interface
already yeah and then how do you like just from like uh if you want to acquire like the problem
statement of where do i get my first 100 users who should they be right now you can get even more
specific and have a conversation about it. Right. So like, like obviously like different protocols will have different user
priorities, different actions.
They want to prioritize different values, transactions, like, you know,
lending, borrowing, boards, et cetera.
So now you can like, you know, play around and determine that for yourself.
So, and then just have like a normal, like, you know, back and forth.
I'll leave it to Utkash and Gayatri to explain much better than I am.
And just quick follow, quick thing.
Utkash, sir, do you need a professional plan to this?
No. Not to, like like use the MCP you just need but it works
only on the desktop version okay awesome so I mean was giving a recap right we deployed a token right uh and we send 20 supply to ourselves
we can send it to anyone right this is as simple as as that right so yeah we can and uh what else
is possible right like so now now that mc that MCP is integrated into Cloud, is it integrated into Cloud?
So basically there is a server running, right?
We started with creating a project in CDP, right?
And integrated, like when you do base mcp init right it would ask you for all these information
and save it in claude mcp json right i'm not sure if i how how much i can feel but i can show you in
terminal right so are you able to see this yeah
So are you able to see this?
It will ask you for a GDP key, right?
It will ask you to click it, right?
And there are two other integration.
That is when you want to do like a custom model.
If you want to do stuff with NFTs.
NFT querying and all those stuff right
and once that is done it's ready basically then you just restart your cloud and it's working
right and yeah it just works simply so right now what all it can do is limited to the things
that have been put into the bsmc the tools which have already
been put but yeah people can just keep putting tools and then what you can do is like unlimited
right sure i think two use cases that we shared like if you are running your own agency or uh
like your own company is like you can have a telegram mcp like uh summarizing all your uh
Like you can have a telegram MCP, like summarizing all your group chats and create like task according to it and send it directly to Asana or whatever task manager you're using.
And second is like if you give it your payroll data and their addresses, you can directly send salaries, deploy salaries from cloud itself.
you can directly send salaries deploy salaries from cloud itself right uh we have gone through
like how you can just think about an idea like any game or any token and you can deploy it like you
can ask lord to write the code for it and deploy it right from here there and then on the terminal
right so right now like initially you have to have cursor you have to do back and forth
copy pasting but it's all from claude or incline that you're using right it is not restrictive to
uh claude you can do it with open ai as well uh there could be other clients as well right right
now it is we are just using cloud and i. And I think from VibeCoder's perspective,
I think a lot of people are able to VibeCode the front end.
Whereas when it comes to smart contract and stuff,
it's still they don't know how to go about it.
But with this, you can actually tell Claude,
I want this contract, and it deploys for you as well.
So that's a real good use case for white rollers
got it um crazy guys crazy well um i would if i could guys i would to keep asking questions
right because i i just love doing that and there's a lot more but i think because we've reached the
like the one hour mark right i want to just like to just park it here for now and pick it up again.
And obviously, I think Naman also dropped off in between.
But thank you so much for doing this, guys. I think we've just scratched the surface.
By next call, I want us to go deeper and have, for example, two like you know ideas that we can help people
understand that they may not have considered right i think right now we've like explored like the
brainstorming top of funnel ideas are clear next time we'll show them one two three and the process
to do it right um and that i think will and what i want to do also then is like enable people to
build their own mcp and see what comes out of that based on our
session right have that loop close and then see but yeah so one thing is like how can we just
wipe code MCP right yeah if they have their own so if anyone has ideas like I want an MCP for this
data source or I want it for slack we can just go through it and give like
pick out basic use cases maybe or like whenever you are having this session next before that we
can ask people to just dm you me or just comment comment yeah comment we might lose nobody will
remember oh yeah tweet to us a best cast to us and we can pick up from that and build it no for sure let's
do one thing i will um let's do we'll let's we'll chat about this in detail but basically guys we'll
record a very small 30 second prompt by the you or uh guy three utkash just explaining like we just
want to understand what problems you face in
your workflow or what you want to enable right people come they will comment they will like
post a notion whatever it is and then from there we'll crowdsource that and then pick it up and
like let's do it the next time yeah makes sense crazy okay thank you so much guys, pleasure and I will pick your brains offline now.
Cheers guys. We'll see you next time.
